I have a very hard time trusting car sales people/dealerships. Been screwed over to many times. Pretty much lost respect for most of them! Until I went to Janesville Nissan. I honestly don't know where to start. I truly cant say enough good things about the dealership and everyone I have had the pleasure of working with starting with sales, finance, etc, all the way up to the general manager (Baker). Baker has always went above and beyond for me. If there are ANY issues big or small, Baker will make sure it gets taken care of. He has never made me feel like I'm just another customer walking thru their doors. I can say he truly cares and will do whatever it takes to make sure you are happy with your purchase of a new vehicle or whatever. I HIGHLY recommend Janesville Nissan for you're next vehicle purchase. If you want honest, fun, friendly, and just an all around great dealership..... you should check them out!

I got a great car but my vehicle is still under warranty and it didn't come with an owners manual. I asked if they would cover it and they said that they wouldn't because they would have to pay for it. I don't think that it's right that they can wash their hands of it when the car is still under warranty! Can't say that I'll be coming back or sending someone else to get a car here! I can't believe that there are this many one star reviews and a response to every single complaint just to say "we will provide top notch service in hopes that you will be back in the future." How about looking up these PAYING customers' names and numbers and making an effort to help them out with their inquiries to make a difference in the Nissan chain and keep customers coming back? I can say that all these bad reviews won't want to make people that haven't been to this chain want to jump to this location! Thanks to the sales manager Jack, I ended up getting my owner's manuals taken care of! You may be the only hope for this location, Jack! Thanks for your hard work and dedication!🖐👍

Brought my adult daughter here to look at cars.....she has anxiety issues and has a hard time conversing with strangers. Met with Mike Walsh who showed us two cars which my daughter didn't feel the wow factor from (her words). Then my daughter started to feel as if she was wasting Mike's time, she started crying, but Mike and another woman who works there (never caught her name but THANK YOU) were able to calm her down and found her a car that had that wow factor she was looking for. The people here really do care about you. I'm actually going to return and purchase my next car from them.

Customer service is horrible. I have been 2 months still trying to get my car licensed. They do not know which end is up. Had to take care of myself by going direct to Subaru!! And not even an apology just excuses and lies.

The subaru customer service stinks. The service reps are on commission and will try to talk you into service not needed. They make it sound like without the service you'll ruin the car. Get a second opinion or call Rockford or Madison Subaru dealers for an opinion or price quote. You will save yourself $$$$. I will not have my car serviced by them again. Shame on them!!!

A low key soft sell approach. Very knowledgeable staff. Great In service on my new vehicle. They made sure I understood the technology before I left the dealership.Everything about the sale was great, and new facilities are currently being constructed. In the service department I was greeted immediately, given approximate time wait, Informed that nothing extra needed to be addressed on my vehicle at this time, walked to the front and introduced to the cashier. I went in to test drive, and drove home in my dream car. The salesperson (Sal), of course, tried to lease and sell me a brand new car, but not enough to make me want to walk away. He was very friendly and made the car buying process a pleasant experience... I left there at 9:30pm. I bought the Kia Soul! They had the exact model I have been looking on the market for (a sun roof was a must for me since I never had one, and they are hard to find on the Kia Soul... but I GOT ONE!!) I would recommend Janesville Nissan Kia Subaru and I would recommend Sal!

Contacted dealership twice to confirm prior to traveling 45 min+ to see vehicle posted on cars.com and on the dealer's websites. After arriving, were immediately brought into dealership to discuss our finance's- we hadn't even seen a car yet! Then were told that the vehicle we were interested in couldn't be found, maybe it was in service. When we pushed to see it, then oops- sorry they meant it was sold- over two weeks ago! Several other cars we may have been interested either had a bad smell or we wouldn't be able to test drive! Huge waste of time- salesperson couldn't answer any questions specific to the Model of car they primarily sell! Have visited 4 other dealerships recently and this was by far the most unprofessional!

I bought a new car from a different local dealer 2 years ago. The only way the dealership could have treated me any worse would have been to say "of course you don't get the electronics, you are a stupid old woman". They may not have said it but the message was loud and clear. I knew from the minute I talked to Deanna that she really cared that I liked and understood the car. I am in love with it, it is exactly what I wanted, and I under stand the electronics...and I know if I run into a glitch she will help me without making me feel like a burden. We had bought a Kia Sedona last April 2015 with an extended warranty, we came in the next day to cancel, ( we had 72 hours to cancel ), and it's been a year now and still we have an extended warranty payment, but no warranty. Nobody will help unless you will pay them!!!! They treat a lot of people like dirt.

The dealership, service department and Subaru went way beyond my expectations in repairing the engine of my Forester with 80,000 miles. They replaced two blown head gaskets, the timing belt, other parts and the water pump at no charge and did an outstanding carb tune up that put the car back running like new. Having bought the car and having kept up with regular service at the dealership and driving the Forester reasonably helped in their decision to resolve my complaint about the head gasket issue, but they came through in first class fashion and saved me thousands of dollars. Thank you all.

Went in with my girlfriend to look at buying a car. Was greated by the salesperson right away and he seemed very optimistic. Once it came down to trying to make a deal, they wanted nothing to do with what we were saying and did not make any efforts to come to a deal. Basically told us to go elsewhere and buy from someone else cause they were not interested in trying to sell us a car. Bottom line new owners still are not the right people for that business.

I took my 2008 Outback in to have the head gaskets replaced. Over the phone, I was quoted $1500, which is why I chose them over the $2400 quoted by another local dealer. The power steering pump was also found to need replacement, which they told me would add $400. In the end, new head gaskets and new power steering pump ended up being $2700, far more than I was expecting. As soon as I drove the vehicle off the lot, the check engine light came back on and it still smelled like burning oil. I took it back a few days later, and also noticed that the oil was a half quart low. The were very good about taking a look at it, cleaned the old oil out of the exhaust heat shields, and looked into the check engine light. They could not diagnose why it was on. The manager also assured me that Subarus typically burn a lot of oil, even though it never had before. I was, and still am, burning a quart of oil every 500 miles, which he assured me is "perfectly normal." A few months later, I went to turn on my A/C and discovered that it no longer worked. I popped the hood and noticed that the caps were missing off of the high and low pressure connections. I called them, and was told that would not fall under the warranty of their labor, since I couldn't prove that they forgot to charge it. Yeah, like I really decided to de-pressurize my own A/C over the winter and throw away the caps. So, I ended up having to go somewhere else to have it filled.Overall, all of my check engine lights are on, I had to pay to have my A/C re-charged, and my car burns more oil now than it ever did before I had it serviced. I would not take my bicycle here. Worst decision I ever made. The only good thing I would have to say is that they gave me a free loaner car.

I was very disappointed in my experience at the dealership. I am in the market for a compact SUV and wanted to take a Crosstrek and Juke for a test drive. Joel got my information and came back and asked where I wanted to be payment wise. He said there is no way we could be in the area I wanted to be so he wouldn't let me test drive because it would be "a waste of both our times if there wasn't going to be a deal." I had told him I am feeling things out and wasn't looking to buy today anyway. If I really loved one of the vehicles I could have bumped my budget to get what I wanted. I also do not believe that a base juke would lease for $500 dollars... Needless to say, looks like I will be going to Madison to take a look at Juke. At the very least I suspect they will open a vehicle so that I can see inside. I saw the Juke in the showroom but was never offered to even see inside the Crosstrek. Extremely disappointing, I would rather drive 6 hours to a dealer than ever go to them again...

I purchased a used vehicle that I found had a number of defects at the time of the sale--The vehicle had been marked as tested and in good shape according to the check off sticker..I have had problems with the dealership making any of the defects taken care of.

Agreed to price and terms with Chris by email and phone, but when it came to getting it writing he got squirmy. Just come in, "buddy", "I'll make this easy for you," he said. Put it writing, I asked, and then the circular talk began and he would pass the phone to a bunch of different managers, who all tried to talk me into coming into the dealership.I called SoA and they said they did not support this type of behavior. They even said that the only reason they saw that a dealer would not put an offer and terms in writing upon request was that they intended to change them at some point.There are more than 10 Subaru dealers within a 2-hours drive of here, all of them better than this place. SoA especially recommended Don Miller East and Sommer's, both of which earn recognition for their customer service.

Couldn't get a call back from our sales person to save our lives. I had to call to check on the process of buying the vehicle we chose. Biggest thing though is that we traded our car for the one that we purchased and I drove it in with a full tank of gas and they "filled" our purchase with less than a quarter of a tank. Just seems really shoddy.

I was told that a used 2014 Impreza would be great because I would not have the new car depreciation to deal with and there was a sale discounting cars 2000 dollars. I ended up not having the sale promotion discount honored and the price of the car ended up being 2000 dollars more than you can buy one for new created on the official Subaru build a car website including shipping. I was lied to, scammed, and I would say defrauded from this business.

I had told them that my daughter was pre approved for a used vehicle. Then they had told my wife and daughter that they to fill out a credit report before taking a car out for a test drive. The lady that had helped them had said it would not be ran through credit. Well it was ran through credit. Then they had gave my wife and her mother a run around when they had confronted the manager. My wife had said "I did not give you permission to run my credit." The manager had said "You had signed the credit report." Instead of checking more into it, he had kicked my wife and her mother out of the car dealership. My wife had found a better car for our daughter up in Madison, WI. She said if she did not get kicked out that she would never go back anyways. They can not tell you the truth and give you a run around.

We absolutely love this dealership. They treated us fantastically as we were searching for our car, gave gifts to our children while we were waiting for the paperwork to be colmpleted. They have a nice little play area for kids. Free coffee and water while you wait. We have never had a problem with the auto shop. It is a beautiful dealership and the sales people are not pushy at all. They even have a golf cart to take you out to possible cars that you may like. Selection and service are wonderful.We will defintely be buying the reast of our vehicle from Harms!!!

Took our Subaru Outback in for routine minor service, including oil change and tire rotation. After we drove the car home, we noticed that there was a burning rubber smell so took it back next day. The belts were covered in oil, they decided to only wipe them down, my husband asked for them to be replaced, and was abused at on the phone, yelling and screaming, and threatening to call the police, by the General Manager.Eventually after many phone calls and hours later, the dealership agreed to replace the belts, I was without my car for 4 days, because they made a huge mistake, and we get abused. There was no apology, we are never going back there again. As for the fluids that were supposed to be topped up as part of the service, it wasn't done, we checked the coolant as soon as we finally got the car home and saw that it was on the low line.

Buyer beware! Their policy is to sell you a car whether it's right for you or not, whether you're vulnerable, elderly, widowed or poor or wealthy. Customer service? No. Push, smooth talk you right out the door with a car you didn't need or want. If you're weak and vulnerable you won't get out of this place doing very well. Wrote a complaint to the owner. Never heard a peep from him.
