Great experience. All is the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Special recognition to Jerry the sales manager I really wasn’t sure I would get qualified but he made it happen and he got me a deal I was not expecting and that made me very happy. I got my beautiful pearl white HR-V EX that Amalia thoroughly showed me all the details and features. Thank you guys!!!

Honestly was great. Alex was really nice, super chill, and really helpful. Made an appointment with him and was able to walk in and get my first new car from him. Arturo was also really helpful when it came to financing and explaining everything. And also Will helped out a lot with insurance for my cars.Would recommend this to anyone when looking for a Honda. Only suggestion anybody planning to get a car. It might take about five hours do do all the paper work and get the car ready. But either way very happy I came to this place.

Horrid!!!I would give this Dealership and its employee's negative stars if possible. I emailed on a Monday about a used Odyseey and was contacted by Miranda and told the car was on the lot. Show up and low and behold it's not on the lot it has been sold over the weekend. So we drive all the way downtown for a car that doesn't even exist. So now we are dealing with Josh who starts trying to sell us on another deal, we listen to his offer decide we are not interested at the moment and leave. Later we decide that the offer Josh promised us actually doesn't sound so bad so we call him back, he promises us a price at all in and we call this morning to come see the car. So they say come in a manager also guarantees us the price Josh has quoted. We get there and Josh is not there but now we are dealing with Norma. She also says if thats the number we were quoted yes that is what we get. So we test drive the car, and are pleased but then of course she comes back, now her manager wont honor the price that 3 different people have guaranteed us. He comes over and tries to give us his speech about how it's just too low and he's doing us a favor by offering us this other price. No regard for our time (I am 9 months pregnant and have 2 kids that I need to get watched), they lied twice to get us down there only to then change the original agreement. This is why people hate car dealerships. Do not go here! They will lie to get you in and then switch the deal and hope you are too tired to care.Oh and as soon as I posted a bad review on yelp a new manager who wasnt even there and did not speak to us claims we asked for a nicer model car, which is another total lie. After 3 people confirmed the car and price we came to buy it and then were told it would be more. So watch out even people not there will lie about everything!!

Do not trust this dealership. I made a horrible mistake buying a 2016 HRV from them. I have been calling the dealership for days, left over a dozen messages, and now I have been waiting inside the dealership for almost 2 hours. I wish I could go back in time and not have bought a car from here :(

Went to at least 6 different honda dealership and got a great offer with 2 of them. Then i called honda downtown and spoke to A sales person name David Choi. This guy is awesome! I told him what I'm looking for and the deal i wanted and he asked me to come by and see him and he said that i won't be disappointed! The guy actually came to work on his day off just to meet us. He gave me the deal i cant resist! But, i didn't stop there and ask david if i can speak to his sales manager Mr. Dan Gene! Man, Dan is A great guy and so easy to talk to! He gave us even lower out the door price and gave us everything i wanted in the car more than i expected! Even the other honda sales manager cant compete with the price so We came home with 2017 The Accord EX-L! Mr. Dan Gene gave us his personal cell number just incase we run into some problem with the car! We will definitely come back to see these guys this November so we can get a better deal again on the pilot we are planning on getting! I highly Recommend this dealership! They took really good care of us! 5 Stars!

My car was towed for service due to theft of my catalytic converter. I was very overwhelmed and upset from the events of the day. Every single employee that I came in contact with was extremely nice, respectful and helpful. Even though as individuals they were not making money off of me because I wasn't buying a vehicle, they all took the time to help with my needs and even took extra time to give me tissues and verbal comfort during this stressful time. With customer service like that how can you go wrong? I recommend them for car buying needs or service needs. I will surely use them for my needs.

My review is only for the Service department at Honda of Downtown Los Angeles. I had previously drive in to the service department without an appointment to have a window inspected and upon waiting over 15 for someone to even acknowledge me. A service representative walked towards me chewing his lunch in front of me just to inform me that I must have an appointment which my first reaction was to feel disgusted by the way their service staff conduct business. Upon taking my issue up with the manager because they have a sign saying " If you're not completely satisfied please ask for the manager" which I did and nothing was done. When I received their follow up survey I was truthful to best of my knowledge and left them a bad review because I wasn't completely satisfied on the way I was treated at the service department.Fast forwarding months ahead I had a major safety seatbelt malfunction and regular B1 service but upon looking up my VIN number I was immediately inform that they were refusing service and was noted by their Dealership manager Carolyn, which is obviously retaliation and discriminated against me. I had referred more than 10+ family and friends to their business but that will stop and we will all go elsewhere for service needs. This is the worst dealership I had ever conducted business with ever and recommend everyone else go elsewhere. Look at all their reviews you will see I'm not the only one that feels the same way about Honda of Downtown LA.

My appointment was 11 AM, November 11, 2015, but I was at the service center 30 mins. earlier and Iwas a attended right away with friendly staffs, by Bernabe Nava and John Jacinto. I have nothing to negative to say since I bought my Honda Civic 2014 at Honda of Los Angeles. I appreciate very much and more power sales to you.

The service department took advantage of my daughter when she came in with a simple flat tire repair.Convinced her that she needed to buy a new tire, by giving her the wrong information regarding her flat tire, when in fact, the tire could have been easily repaired by any tire shop that knows their business. Clearly this Honda dealership is not concerned about their customer needlessly spending money and only concerned with a quick, easy and dare I say more profitable solution for themselves.And while trying to resolve this mistreatment of a customer, the Service Manager (Gary) never called back as promised for 7 days. 7 days he was too busy to take our call, and never called back.I wish there was something lower than a single star. The worst treatment I have ever experienced in over 40 years of owning and servicing my vehicles.

I made an appointment with Adrian Sanchez (customer service) to meet "Tony" to see a particular car, and when I arrived another salesperson swooped in instead. Tony was apparently not even called and the salesperson did not ask for him, did not even introduce himself (so I had no idea it wasn't Tony), took upwards of 5 minutes just to get a key (for a different car), laughed when my friend mentioned how long it took instead of apologizing, then blatantly lied to me and said he was going to show me 2 cars (the one I was interested in to begin with and an alternate) knowing that the original car was no longer available. When we got to the lot, of course only the more expensive car was actually available. The Carfax placed inside the car was for an entirely different VIN and didn't match the inspection report or the actual VIN of the car it was sitting inside. The sales person finally explained the car I wanted had already been sold but that he could give me the silver model for the same price as the one I wanted. He then asked intrusive personal questions like what the relationship was between me and my friend who drove me to the dealership. He proceeded to ask me for an offer on the car, which I gave as 13500 based on the statement by Adrian (customer service) that I would get a deal on the original price of 13700 online. The salesperson (I finally asked his name and discovered it was "Chris") even had me sign my offer as if they would actually consider it. He took 10 minutes of our time only to come back and say his manager would offer me 14900 (ie, zero improvement from the online price of the alternate model and 1400 over my bid). Having enough of my intelligence being insulted, we started to walk out, he followed us and begged us to stay, saying he would ask his second manager who was "more flexible". Knowing by now he would just lie more we decided to leave anyway. By the time we were outside he followed and said his second manager offered the exact same price of 14900 and wouldn't even consider my offer.I called customer service after I left and reported Chris (he didn't give a last name or offer a card, so I'm assuming it is "Christian Mestas" from the options below). Of course they were "shocked" (ya right), but refused to match my new offer of 14 for the car, which was $300 over the price originally quoted by the dishonest salesperson, saying it was "too aggressive". I will never do business with this dealership, and am now considering Toyotas. So Honda itself, not just this dealership, just lost business.

First of all this place is a madhouse- loud music playing, trashy looking environment, and absolutely no order.They'll try and bate you in with a promise of a price and take that price away as soon as your ready to commit. I even saw the number in Writing!I was told that the price was too good to be true by my bank; they were right.Can't stress this enough:Avoid this dealership!!Don't waste your time.The General Sales Manager, Alex Gonzales, is a serious joke. He masks deception as "just business". Seriously, it's just BAD business!Ben

Scott Goldner was our sales associate and his non pressure style made buying first car with my son a pleasant and educational experience. First, the car advertised was exactly as promised, which is always a good place to start. Then I feel that he took the time we needed to make the most informed decision possible. Sure there was the typical back and forth negotiations, but I actually enjoy the process. In the end I feel we got a fair deal on a solid car -- a certified pre-owned 2012 Honda Accord coupe with 24k miles. This is a car I think my son will enjoy driving for many years to come.

Ignacio Jimenez was my sales rep. He went over the 2013 Honda Civic (that I purchased) with me and made sure I understood how everything works. Ignacio was very knowledgeable and answered any questions I had about the car, he even setup the Bluetooth sync with my cell phone. Johnny was he finance person who handled the paperwork. Had a very positive experience here no pressure to purchase any additional service, they had to ask but when I declined they did not press the issue. Was able to purchase the car at a great price, and I will definitely recommend friends to come here for their Honda purchases.

This has been the most upsetting experience trying to get my car repaired that I have ever been subject to! I brought my car in for an issue with the crankshaft, and within hours of leaving the dealership the under-shield fell from my car, and was dragged for miles as I drove the freeway. At least 4 people felt it necessary to wave me down, as my car was emitting sparks. I feel lucky that my passengers and I were not seriously injured. The next day I found out that my car's under-shield had been secured using tip ties and a bolt (which had been the obvious cause of the sparks).When I called to speak with someone about the negligence I had witnessed, all I heard from the staff members was that they weren't responsible and they were unwilling to fix my car. I asked to speak with the general manager, but I was told that he refused to speak with me unless I came in to the dealership in person. I had explained to several people several times that I did not have the time to bring my car back, again, unless my car was going to be repaired (especially since they always have an issue shuttling me to/from work), and that any communication could be handled by phone or email. I was told that the general manager refuses to communicate with my by phone or email, I imagine so that I won't have any record of what he had to say. I'm not going to go all the way down to the dealership in Downtown Los Angeles so that the general manager can tell me in person that they won't fix my car, which is exactly what I believe would happen. All I was offered was a free oil change in the future, which I found to be deplorable. An oil change in the future won't fix my car now. At the end of the day, this all might have cost them $200 to fix, if that (something they quoted me at $330 for), and it boggles my mind that after a week, I'm still dealing with this issue. Hopefully, once I get in touch with Honda's corporate offices tomorrow, I will see some resolution. DON'T GET YOUR CAR REPAIRED AT THE HONDA OF DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES!!!

WARNING: DO NOT BUY USED CARS HERE!!!I came here in October '14 because I was looking for a Certified pre-owned vehicle. I heard too many horror stories about dealerships selling lemons, so I did my research and found a 2008 Accord coupe that I liked.I met with a salesman, Neuman and told him about the car I saw on the website, listed under the pre-owned certified section. I asked him MULTIPLE times if the car was certified. He said yes, and even proceeded to show me a pamphlet of the 150+ point inspection that comes with each certified vehicle.When he brought the car around, it was making noises. I asked him about it, but he gave me a confused look saying "What noise?" I figured it wasn't a big deal because the car was certified. It was from 2008 so I thought the parts may be old but still good, since it MUST have passed the certification process.I took his word for it and went for a test drive. Then the negotiations followed and I drove away with my "new" car after 5 grueling hours at the dealership.Fast forward 4 months, my car's engine light comes on. It's time for the oil change, but the car starts making strange noises. I take it to the dealership and ask them to check out the noise. Surprise! It's a power steering pump issue and it will cost me $2000+ to fix it. What a fool I've been.Still, the car is certified and I was confident they would take care of it, because they never should have sold that vehicle if it didn't pass the certification process. WRONG. The guy who hands me the bill looks at me and tells me my car is NOT certified.I walk over to Neuman and ask him why my car is not certified. He doesn't know and says it should be, if that's what he had told me couple months back. He tells me to "check the paperwork because it should all be in the papers." I drive home and scramble through all the papers, and that's when it hits me. They never gave me any certification papers. I ask him why he had lied about the car being certified. He says he doesn't know and doesn't remember.So, this is my naivety. I should have had my guards up, regardless of how nice Neuman was toward the end of the night. I was more worried about financing and negotiating prices that I had took Neuman at his word, instead of asking for the proof. Maybe he decided to leave out the certification and they changed it after I left. Or maybe the car was never certified and Neuman had just lied about it to sell the car.After waiting a week for a response, I informed Gladys at Honda of DTLA that if she doesn't respond before 5pm today, I would follow up with my own course of actions. So I will break it down for you.First, I'm going to leave bad reviews on ALL the internet dealership reviews.Second, I will fill out the Customer Satisfaction Survey and leave the proper reviews.Third, I will file a complaint with the Bureau of Automotive Repair.Fourth, I will follow up with a complaint to the State Attorney General.And LASTLY, I will contact every single Yelper on this page that has left a negative review. I will look into their situation and if it seems like they were screwed over just like I was (and was never compensated), I will ask them to repeat steps 1-4 with me, and make sure the State Attorney General hears about this dealership.

Brought in my honda fit because it was hiccuping and losing power. MARC UCHIYAMA was unfortunately the cold and unattentive sales rep who was designated to advise me on the matter. As I described the issue, he refused to make eye contact with me instead cutting me off midsentence and telling me I needed this service that service done to my vehicle when no mechanic has even approached my vehicle to glance at it. So he's throwing all these options at me while I still try to clearly confirm the problem to him which he replied vaguely "uhuh I understand" "ahh I see" without a word or further concern, he brings over a form and slams a pen on top of it and twlls me to pick it up in 4 hours and "it'll be 300 bucks". Surprised by his eagerness to get me to agree and pay and leave, I asked again if this service qill improve my cars performance in which he replied "YEs". Three daya later my car stalled while going 50mph on the freeway. When I returned and tryed to explain my dissatisfaction, john jacinto stated "I should get a lawyer if I want anything done about it". I was shocked. I then spoke to AlvinFike who relentlessly tryed to offer more discounted services (which all salespeople are programmed to do for the rest of their lives) instead of admitting their wrongdoing and attempting to solve the problem. HonDA sold me falsely packaged services and to top it off didn't change my sparkplugs and changed my oil even though I got it changed a week before. Unprofessional. DISHONEST. INSULTING. TAKE YOUR CAR SOMEWHERE ELSE TO GET SERVICED. ALL THEIR STAR RATINGS ARE FOR NEW CAR PURCHASES. PRETTY CUT AND DRY PROCESS THAT MOST GULLIBLE PEOPLE BELIEVE THESE PEOPLE HONESLTY WANT TO HELP THEM. THESE SALES PEOPLE DONT CARE ABPUT THE CONSUMER. BELIEVE THAT IN YOUR HEART.

Paid this dealership a down payment and then before signing papers we decided to go somewhere else after a salesman completely talked down to my wife and belittled her, and then mailed us the lease papers reducing already negotiated terms (basically trying to cheat us out of what we had agreed on). After finding a much better dealership (Honda of Santa Monica) we were easily helped and secured a lease. We called this dealership informing them to go ahead and process the refund process to which they acknowledged their lack of customer service and that they dropped the ball and would have refund back in our account by two to three business days. Well, we are being told on the third business day (this past Friday) they never processed it and we are having to consider taking legal action against the dealership because we can't trust anything they say at this point.Never had a worse experience as a customer anywhere.

-SALES REVIEW-It's my first time that I wrote review on yelp because I had the worst experience by Sales staff. I went to the dealership with my girl friends to purchase her new car after I made appointment with them via phone call. The first salesman who showed us car was very courteous and made us very comfortable (UNTIL AT THIS POINT) We were interested in buying 2015 Honda Fit and the care was very inexpensive and full of high technology (even better than my 2014 Lexus IS for some parts). It was first time for my girl friend to purchase a new car so she wants to think about several options either getting base model or EX-model. Also, we were considering between purchasing or leasing option. Later on, Sailyn Cruz came and the problems and worst experience began. He suddenly replaced the first sales guy and started pushing to sell their car today but I went to the dealership around 7pm and still needed time to think about several options over the night. So I told the sales manager that "I need quotes for base vs EX model or purchase/lease, and I will come back tomorrow after I decide with my gf. After that, he suddenly changed his face, told us "I will be back a second" and left us then never came back. Later on, different sales man who has angry face and no smile came to us and even didn't introduce himself to us (Indian American guy) He started to repeat the same questions what the sales manager asked us, never listen to us, and just told us what he wanted. I told him that I am not gonna buy the car tonight but we need a quote and will come back tomorrow (My gf and I really liked the car and was going to come back tomorrow after we decide). The angry sales man asked us, "How much do you wanna pay for down payment". I answered "2,000." He asked me again, "how much do you wish to pay for monthly payment". and I told him, "I don't know. Can you give us a quote so we can think about it?". He asked me with angry face, "You have to give me the amount that you can pay." Seriously?, I am just trying to buy a 15k compact car.. can they just give a quote to customers? I was upset by answering the same question over and over and rude attitude from the last sales man. We just left the dealership and the sales manager was laughing and joking around with other people. Never expect apologize from them or professional attitude. When I came back home with bad mood and I read the sales review from yelp and well.. I found that I was not first victim who mistreated by their horrible sales service. I don't even bother to call their General manager Carolyn to complain because their terrible sales service has been like this forever. If you don't believe me, please read previous reviews from other people. So don't consider to go to this place EVER. You will get nothing but only feeling of anger. However, I loved the Honda Fit and will go to different branch of Honda dealership tomorrow even though Honda of DTLA is only 5 minutes distance from my place.

Terrible service by sales staff.Both Sales Managers Alex and Sailyn kept me waiting forever to talk to them as I could see them joking around. I even called the General Sales Manager Carol or Carolyn to complain about service, but no response from her either. I've bought three honda's over the years and have never seen such bad service. In a nutshell, my car was flooded at UCLA on 7/29/14 and needed a new car quickly as my rental car needed to be returned. I went to Downtown Honda and was overcharged roughly 750$. The process took 5 hours (9:15 to 2:30) despite having the model and color I wanted.Here are the facts:+ I bought a Honda Fit for 19,497 out the door. This included a cargo cover, splash guard, and cargo tray.+ The asking price for the car was 17115 + 495 + 277 with a pro-pack and cargo cover. The increased out-the door-price was from the cargo-cover, tax, and license. I think they gave me a small discount.+ The MSRP is 17115.+ Before my Toyota was totalled in the flood, every service was done at a certified dealershipHere is the longer story, the flood aftermath was a royal pain. Most students, faculty, and staff did not know about the condition of their cars until a week after the flood. I hadn't started shopping in earnest until after that at which point my insurance's two week rental period was halfway up.Based on the reviews from car magazines and the market price of subcompact cars, the Honda Fit was a no-brainer. It also made more sense to put out a little extra cash for a new car because Hondas retain their value well. I went to this dealership after calling 5 different dealerships personally and researching the price on TrueCar.com, Costco, edmunds.com, kbb.com and AAA. Honda is purposefully restricting new 2015 Honda Fits so that it artificially increases demand and hikes prices. Downtown had recently gotten a new shipment of these models. We got a price quote, but as usual they said they would help with the price when we came in. That was a fallacious statement.I asked my mom to attend to serve as my advisor and moral supporter on this huge purchase. What wasn't revealed to me over the phone was that they installed a "Pro-Pack" which includes splash guards and a cargo tray for a 500$ markup. These items, had I even wanted them, are available on amazon for 150$ and are plastic chazerai. The splash guards require installation, but in my estimation, they don't add much value of the car. The accessories that made the most sense for a city driver like myself were floor mats and a car cover to protect items in my trunk. The former was quoted to me at 170$ (with a "discount"), but they are available on amazon for half the price. In fact, I think the amazon mats are the upscale all-weather mats that were probably much more at the dealership (still OEM). After we agreed to the price, they wouldn't accept any of the checks that I had delaying the process more, forcing my mom to obtain a cashier's check, while I talked to finance officer about the logistics of getting a student discount, which he had reluctance accepting as we needed all the documents at the time of financing. There was some confusion also as to the amount down I could put on the car for specific financing purposes, which almost led to two trips to the bank.I asked the dealership to provide a rebate for the accessories that I found on amazon cheaper: the cargo cover, the tray, and splash guard in addition to the unusual circumstances this purchase was due. They declined.Overall, maybe this is not that much of a difference from other car dealerships, but I wouldn't know since I hopefully won't have to shop for cars for another decade. The lack of price transparency and the wearing down tactics this dealership employed bothered me. They also had no sense of customer service. We wanted to buy the car then, and the fact we had to go get a cashier's check and organize school paperwork for a student rebate was unpleasant. I feel that once you agree to pay for a car, and pay a premium to get it quickly, the dealership should make the process as painless as possible. My salesperson was Emmanuel Ivan Ortiz, and he was a friendly person. I believe he was relatively new. I hope he can do better for his next client or work at a better dealership. The manager was the one I had an issue most, since he refused to budge. Maybe Ivan was complicit/abided by in the wear down tactics and he certainly wanted to sell me some more accessories after the sale was through.Maybe get a car broker? The system is in need for a serious disruption and when you are in need of a new car quickly, look elsewhere first.

My daughter was getting her first car and Mike found us the best possible deal, walked us through every step, even helped with the insurance!!! He was the nicest, most helpful, most professional car sales person I've ever met. Mike is THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know that if my daughter needs anything with her car Mike will be there for her.

I went to Los Angeles Honda looking to buy a used Honda and was greeted by Sailyn. He took me to the car I was looking for and to my surprise it was a manual transmission (my mistake). Sailyn presented the opportunity to possibly buy or lease a new car and said he would do the best he could to make sure I would get what I was looking for before I left. He stayed with me the entire time of the process (even after they closed) and showed me how to use all of the features in my new 2014 Accord and got me a very reasonable price. I am beyond grateful that he was able to pull through for me. I will definitely recommend all of my friends and family to go to this dealership and request only his services. I just want to thank Mike Patel, for all of his hard work! My credit isn't the best but he treated me like all the other customers and I really appreciate that. I'm glad Mike worked on my account because he doesn't do a lot of the fast and fancy talking like most cars salesmen and that made me feel comfortable. I just had the best experience with Mike Patel from the sales team at Honda Of Downtown Los Angeles. My whole story started two days ago. Two days ago i went in and got Troy, i wanted to buy a Civic we ran the numbers and we just could not agree on the payment. I told Troy that it didn't make sense to me so he suggested a lease. I said i needed to think about it and i went home. Today in the morning i called in and asked for Troy but he had the day off so i got Mike Baiju Patel he pulled up my file and gave me a list of documents he needed to reduce the amount of time at the dealer. I emailed him everything after a few more calls he finally said come on down to the dealer to sign documents. I get there and sure enough the finance guy was ready my car was ready and i drove off a happy customer. The best thing of it all is they embrace technology and how easy that makes the car buying process. The finance app is online. All documents can be emailed in. So when you get to the dealer you've already done 75% if the tedious stuff. I would lease/buy there again in a heartbeat.

Finance department was not upfront with the 2 year service maintenance change. They reduced the price of the car and I got excited and when I was signing the documents I got a $ 2250 service contract. sneaky people.

We got 2014 Odyssey last Saturday there. We got the car with the color and trim we want, and also the price.The sales Ignacio J. is very patient and helpful. The negotiation lasted about 2 hours and we finally made the deal. The waiting time of paper work took a little bit too long.The finance lady Ms. Tu is also very nice and sweet.It took us about 7 hours from we walked in to we drove the car. The sales Ignacio J. was still very patient to show us the feature of the car before we left, at about 10pm.Ignacio, thanks for your help.

Was givin the bait and switch here. i had been working with them for an entire week on pricing and getting the exact car i wanted. finally when i came in, i was told the car i wanted was sold several days ago, which at any point in time during my communications with them they could have told me. My family and i had to sit around while they scrambled to get a vehicle like the one i had originally asked for and was told was ready for me. Furthermore, i was propositioned with getting a different trim of the same car for a higher price, thus the bait and switch. In this entire process i had made if abundantly clear that i was wary of dealerships just like this and lo and behold i was swindled by one exactly like the one i had hoped to avoid. To say this was a horrendous experience is a vast understatement. i cannot in any shape or form recommend to anyone to ever do business at this dealership. In fact, they are the stereotypical dealership to avoid at all costs.

Worst Honda Leasing experience.... had to basically beg this dealer to sell me a car. Awful followup and customer service from start to finish. Surprises keep popping up 5mo after leasing the vehicle because of wrong information during the leasing process by HONDA. The General Manager laughed when these concerns were brought to her attention and her reply was "It's HONDA Financial" not us. Does no one take responsibility for there errors any longer?? Honda is Honda... this dealership is shady and does not care about the consumer once you walk out the door. Gladys was the only helpful associate at Honda of Downtown LA

I went down to Honda of Downtown Los Angeles on Tuesday afternoon and I was greeted by Sailyn. I was in the market for a Honda Pilot suv, and after seeing a car on their lot that matched my needs I told sailyn that I was looking to lease the car. We went back to his desk and we started talking about what kind of deal I was looking for, I laid out some pretty aggressive terms and Sailyn basically had a look of "you are crazy" but he promised to do his best to close the deal for me. Now I have leased a lot of cars and been in a lot of dealerships so I really am used to the whole "game" that all dealerships play, so I was geared and ready to go for this whole charade of how they are loosing money on this deal blah blah blah. To my surprise however, the sales managers and Sailyn were the most honest, straightforward, transparent, no crap businessmen (not salesmen) legitimate businessmen that I have ever come across. I was so pleased to talk with the different people and eventually to receive exactly what I was asking for. Now let me tell you, the deal I was asking for was extremely aggressive, there was really no rhyme or reason for my offer other than its just what my budget allowed for, everything Honda and the dealers were putting out there nationally as discounts and lease programs was way higher than what I was asking for. Technically I should be driving a Honda cr-v but Sailyn and his boss worked it out so that I could be driving home in what I really wanted, the Honda pilot. I really am impressed and happy with my experience at this place, I hope everyone looking for a Honda goes to these guys in downtown la, especially to Sailyn he is a real cool cat, but don't ask him to drive you home when you get a new car, his wife gets mad at him!! haha,thanks for the great experience guys.

We made our email inquiry and we were delighted to receive an excellent quote on the new Honda Civic EX 2013.After checking with several other Honda Dealers to see if they could give us a better price, we came downtown to the LA dealership.We were very pleased that price we were quoted was honored by this dealership. Replaced brakes about 8 months ago. Informed service rep that there was noise when applying brakes and was told this was "normal". Since then a serious steering rattle has developed when applying brakes. Called service department and was told the warranty has expired and will require new brakes or rotors. Asked for estimate for new rotors and was kept on hold by Parts Department. Gave up and hung up.Experienced similar problems with front whhel that was under warranty. Had to take my car in 3 or 4 times before the problem was fixed.The service manager is very friendly and tries really hard, but one is left with the impression that he is unable to manage his team and maintain the quality of work and custormer service that is fitting for Honda.Why: Because the quality of work and customer service is poor and others should know.

My car broke down 40 miles from home. I was immersed in a "year end closing", and didn't have time for this manner of trouble. I found Honda of Downtown Los Angeles, and they made this problem "a breeze" to deal with. From getting my car to their facility, ascertaining the problem, getting me (effortlessly) into a nice rental car (at $30 a day !!!), letting me know the status as they repaired the car and finally letting me pay for and pick up my car w/o "brain damage". Q: Why did I take the time to write this?A: I was in trouble, and the folks at Honda of Downtown Los Angeles helped me.... Big Time.

The customer service at this dealership was really exceptional and pleasant. Andrew Spigelman was thoroughly professional and excellent in explaining about the various car models, the features of each model as well as the various financing deals. He helped me a lot in my decision to lease Honda Civic 2013 and was really good in doing his job so that the customer doesn't feel any doubts while purchasing/leasing the car. I would also like to thank Andrew for making the whole purchase/lease process as smooth as possible. Also, I would like to thank Jessie Seyler (who regularly checked on my status and who co-ordinated with Andrew) as well as Mike Patel (who gave his valuable inputs which showed why the Honda car models are better compared to the other competing brands).

Visited several dealerships prior to Honda Downtown and my experience with other car salesman left a sour distaste for the profession. Sailyn was a great salesman, different approach with selling which made the experience great for my wife and I. Kept it very light, wasn't pushing his agenda and has great people skills. First off, I would like to say that everyone at the dealership was really friendly and helpful from the time I walked in until I left. I was really nervous at first because it was the first time I was leasing a car, but Sailyn really put those nerves to rest when I walked in the door. He was very professional and understood my situation and what I wanted to pay for the car. He went above and beyond to get the price I wanted and never pressured me into signing for anything else. When I got there it was pretty late so he could have just said come back tomorrow but he stayed until 1:30am to get the deal done! I went to a few other dealerships before this one and none of them gave a better description of the features of the car than Sailyn. He really knows his stuff! I got an awesome deal and I am really happy with my Accord. The next day after the purchase, he even called me to ask how I was doing and if I was happy. If anyone is looking to buy a Honda, go to Honda of Downtown Los Angeles and ask for Sailyn!!

Honda of Downtown Los Angeles has been servicing my vehicle for several years and always provides outstanding service. I have purchased two vehicles from the dealership. I purchased a 2010 Honda Accord EX-L Coupe in April 2010 and a 2013 Honda Accord EX-L Sedan in February 2013. I feel as though Honda of Downtown Los Angeles gave me an excellent deal on both cars I purchased from the dealership, fairly valued my trade-in when I bought my new Honda Accord earlier this year, offers good service specials that make it less expensive to maintain the condition of my car and the dealership delivers exceptional customer service.

Attentive service by Sailyn Cruz and manager Randy Boyd. Sailyn and the team worked hard to get the exact vehicle I wanted, even though it was 100 miles away. I was able to negotiate a price that was below the Blue Book value. I was happy about that, especially since I am a woman and sometimes women pay more for vehicles.

I came in over the weekend for a basic oil change and had an opportunity to speak with a very well imforfamtive associate there by the name of D'Andre Middlebrook. He was very polite, courteous and he provided me with direct and clear answers to my questions. He wasn't overbearing, unlike others that I have had the unfortunate opportunity to speak with, he was very complaisant. Overall, it was a great 1st time experience with Honda of Downtown. Mike and Eric were absolutely fantastic. This was my first car so it was a huge thing for me. Mike made sure that everything was going smooth and indeed they did meet my expectations. It was late Sunday night , and even after there closing hours both Mike and Eric were extremely calm and composed , and helped me in every possible way to get me the quote that I had in my mind. It was a long drive back home and Mike even made sure that My drive was good and if I reached home safely. They both were extremely friendly , addressed all my concerns and did a great job at selling me my 2014 Accord EXL with navi.

This is by far one of the friendliest places. My friend told me about this Honda dealership. So I called to schedule an appointment. But before I scheduled it I had a few questions about their services and prices. I spoke to a lady by the name of Yessi. She answered all of my questions and assured me that when I came in i would be taken care of. When I came in I was greeted by very nice people. And my service advisor was extremely helpful. The lounge was great. It had free wifi and coffee. I need coffee to give me the boost I need. Overall the experience was great. I will definitely keep coming back.

I knew exactly what model I was interested in, and contacted the dealership online - I received a phone call from Norma the very same day, and she was incredibly helpful and responsive, especially when I ran late for the appointment I had set up with the dealership. When I arrived, I was immediately helped by Mike (Baiju) Patel, who was phenomenal - he actually made the entire process really enjoyable (I'm not someone who would normally describe having to purchase a car as fun). He was very professional, and I genuinely felt that I was being helped by someone who wanted me to leave happy with my new car, rather than someone who was just looking to make a sale. It was refreshing. He's very knowledgeable about the brand and was comfortable answering every question I had, from the buttons on the dashboard to the financing of my lease.Everything was done so efficiently (Norma actually had the car already prepped for me to test drive when I arrived!), and even though the fact that I was running late meant that I stayed well beyond their closing hours, I never heard a word of complaint from Mike or any of his colleagues. And most importantly, I love my new Civic!

I had a great experience, this was the first time visiting this dealer and I have to say, great customer service. Everybody was really nice. The dealer didn't have the car and color I wanted but the Sales person, Sailyn was able to get it within a couple of hours. Sailyn was very knowledable and explained in detailed every step of the process. Earlier, I had mentioned to him the car was my early birthday present so when all the paper work was done and as we were getting ready to leave, he took us to where the car was and to my surprise, he had put a BIG BOW on the car and said, Happy Birhday. That was so nice of him and of course took me by surprise! Great Sales person. Thank you very much Sailyn. I highly recommend this dealer and if I buy a car in the future, I will go back to Honda of Downton LA.

I got an online price quotation before visiting the dealership. They honored the price of the new car purchase as well as the trade-in value of my old car. Very accommodative to customers, and that is the reason I went to the dealership for two consecutive car purchases. I especially liked the service of the salesman named, Sailyn. Again, very accommodative. Highly recommend this dealership.

On September 9, I wrote a great review for Honda of Los Angeles and I am know retracting it based on my experience today.I purchased a 2010 Honda in April of this year and was encouraged by Honda personnel to participate in the Honda Vehicle Exchange program when my boyfriend took my car in for a routine oil change. He declined but only a few days later, I was called by Jessica Daniels and was again pushed to trade in my vehicle for a brand new 2013 Honda Civic. Two very important promises were made to me over the phone on Friday. 1. That I would be able to trade my 2010 Honda Civic for a 2013 model for the SAME monthly payment with NO MONEY DOWN and 2. That the process would take only 1 hour. I explained my doubts and concerns that my credit score would not allow me to benefit from the program and that I do not have a lot of free time to spend at the dealership. She assured me that they have record of my purchase, am aware of my limitations but they have over 100 Civics in stock and they need to sell them before the 2014 models come in. Although, I was skeptical, I made an appointment for Sunday morning. When I originally purchased my vehicle, I put $5,000 down and negotiated for a monthly payment of $268.00.When my mother and I arrived at the dealership, I wanted to get straight to the point and only see if the numbers allowed me to trade in my vehicle as promised. After nearly two hours of waiting and getting assigned a new untrained sales person (though I requested my original sales representative), I was offered a deal to only LEASE a 2013 Honda Civic for a monthly payment of $395.00. I am incredibly insulted because I am not even in the market to purchase a new car. Although I expressed over and over again that I am 100% satisfied with my car, Honda Sales Representatives pressured and promised me that I could get a new car simply with a trade in. I felt very pressured to go into the dealership in the first place and then to be lied to my face with a ridiculous deal that is simply unacceptable. My mother was also extremely dissatisfied and we did vocalize our frustration when offered that stupid deal. Nothing was done but hand shakes and superficial apologies and we left. I was going to do all of my routine maintenance and servicing of my car at Honda of Los Angeles, but if that's how they are going to treat their customers, I will take my service elsewhere.

I came here to purchase an Odyssey. I met Classic who was very helpful and listened to what we wanted. He helped us through the purchase and made us feel comfortable about the process. The next day I noticed a scratch on the car (we did not saw it since we picked up the car late the previous night). Gladys helped us schedule the repair. She was very friendly and easy to talk to. Thanks to Godwin and the group, now the car looks brand new. I recently brought it back in for an oil change. And again I see the same great service and work. I would recommend coming here to buy a car or for any service on a Honda.

I have been visiting this dealership before it was taken over by the new management. The service has improved greatly after the new owners took over this dealership. The amount of new cars and pre-owned cars has tripled! The service times are shorter and the shuttle service is great! They drop you off and pick you up! Great Service Advisers who will draw your attention to things that you'd never think about getting fixed, but will help you in the long run..The prices are reasonable as compared to other dealers. They really try to FIX the problem, rather than giving you the run around. I'd recommend this dealership to everyone!

I purchased my 2010 Honda Civic in April of this year and overall it was a very positive experience. They fairly worked with me especially since my credit score was not the best. Ivan was a great sales person to work with because he wasn't pushy and tried to find me the best car, with the best deal within my budget. He also was very accommodating to my mother and boyfriend who went with me for the car buying experience.After I purchased my car, I had a problem with the windshield wiper and I was still able to contact Ivan to get fixed and with a great deal.I decided to service my vehicle there 3 months later for a routine oil change. Although the wait time was rather long, the service of my car was impeccable. The waiting area is nice and more importantly the people are friendly and knowledgeable. When I mentioned that the wait time was longer than I expected, Honda customer service representatives, especially Gladys, made sure I was satisfied with my visit. I will continue to go to the Honda dealership for my routine maintenance visits for their fair prices and excellent customer service!

I visited 2 Honda dealers before Los Angeles Honda. Both were very disappointing. One of them was extremely rude to my wife and me. At Los Angeles I was met by Sailyn Cruz. He was very courteous and showed me car details none of the previous two mentioned at all. Most importantly, he has an honest face that you can trust. Being a diplomat, style is as important to me as content. Deal with those guys with confindence. Ask for Saliyn. Decent young man.

I brought my 2010 Honda Accord in for basic service and felt I was not handled in a timely manner by my first service advisor, I called into the store while still in the service lounge to speak with a manager and the receptionist transferred to me the Customer Relations Manager "Gladys", she came right over with her kind and caring attitude, reassured me that she appreciated me reaching out, listened to my concern with care, informed me she would be back in a moment. Gladys came back with Juan and introduced us and I was very happy with her choice. A situation that could have turned out bad for all of us turned out great. Thanks Honda of Downtown for having a staff that listens and cares about your customers.

I came in not exactly sure if I was going to purchase a car that day or just look around. After scoping out the website beforehand, I saw a Honda Fit that I wanted to check out. As a first time car buyer, the dealership experience was not something I was looking forward to having to deal with in purchasing a new car. After hearing soo many stories about slimy dealer tactics, I entered the dealership a bit apprehensive. Tracie immediately set me at ease and made me feel comfortable with the process. The live "in-house" singer also helped!We took a test drive of the car, talked about finance options, and before I knew it, I was taking home my super lovable Honda Fit. Overall, the experience was completely different than expected and I really look forward to working more with the dealership in the future. Thanks Tracie and team!

I have been taking my Honda to HDTLA for over a year now and although the service is great I have ran into a couple of concerns with a certain Advisor. Gladys has always been there to give me some understanding and my concern then disappears, she is a true example of "Loving to Serve others." Honda of Downtown LA has been very helpful with all my service needs. I even purchased 2 cars from them recently. The service director Godwin Tsui and Jae the service exec was very helpful and was very knowledgeable as they were able to meet my needs. Juan Salazar went above and beyond to help remedy my car issues--even though I had to come back to the dealership due to the wrong part being delivered I was still satisfied with the level of service I received. As mentioned to several staff members, I live very close to Cerritos Auto Square and have dealt with Long Beach Honda and because of the excellent service I have always received from this dealership I prefer to make the drive downtown. My experience has been positive with two car purchases and now with the service department. All of the staff is always friendly, warm and welcoming. Being in a field working with the public, this is something I always take notice and have a high regard for when I see it. Thank you!

I came to this dealership as a recent college graduate and found them straightforward, friendly, and pleasant to work with. My salesperson, Hal Tidwell, and his manager went out of their way to make sure I got a great price, and I got a better price than any other Honda dealership I went to had ever offered me. I had looked for a new car for 2 months and was unable to find anything that fit my list of needs. On the second trip back to Downtown LA Honda, Joe Schuster, the owner of the dealership helped me get exactly what I wanted and needed in a vehicle. They presented excellent customer service and did everything in their power for me to drive away with a new car and happy about my purchase. I used to have a honda but because of a bad car accident i needed to look around another one. the dealer was okay at first but since I reacted his deals equivocally, he was just trying to push me to buy the car. later, he crumpled some papers that we wrote calculated price and detail information and threw that out in front of me because of he felt I was not buying the car.RUDE AND KEEP PUSHING TO BUY CARS. That's what I felt today.not the dealer I wanted to meet and have a talk with.

Mike is an excellent employee who really went out of his way to get me the price I wanted. Coming from out of state, he explained how the CA registration and license plate system works here and that it would be included in the price. He managed to work that all in to a price I found to be very reasonable. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and to the point. He went straight to business as he know I was busy.

I chose this dealer because they accepted Capital One's Blank Check program and they are close to my residence. Tracie walked right up to us and introduced herself. We chitchatted about what I did for a living and made me feel very comfortable right off the bat. I told her what I was looking for, something used with low miles, and above all, a manual transmission. She showed me to a lot with only two selections for me that I did not exactly swoon over. She reluctantly said there weren't many other choices. She disappeared for a few minutes and came back with a nice guy named Dave, (I think), and he stated he had a 2010 Honda Accord Coupe that was a manual transmission with only $26k miles. I test drove it and loved it! I let them know I still wanted to take a look at the Toyota dealership next door and said that if they didn't have what I wanted, I would be back to try and buy the Accord. I was only at the Toyota dealership for about 5 minutes. After being treated horribly and obviously inconveniencing the sales guy when I asked him a few questions, as he drank a soda, I left and headed back to Honda. I had a budget and knew what I wanted to spend on payments. When I moved onto Albert, the Finance Manager, he worked to get me the payments I wanted. The interest rate is completely ridiculous, but I only put a grand down and my credit is only fair. But, Albert did give me some hints on how to lower the APR in the next six months. Albert was super nice, funny and I enjoyed working with him. Tracie even sent me a personal Thank You card with a leather Honda key chain. Overall, I was EXTREMELY satisfied with this dealer and I would recommend them to anyone.

Two weeks ago I bought a new 2013 Honda Accord from Honda of Downtown LA. It was a hassle-free transaction. The sales personnel were amiable and knowledgeable about their products. I was provided with all the information needed to make an informed decision about the purchase. I never felt pressured to purchase a vehicle. In fact, Honda of Downtown LA was able to beat my current bank approved interest ratesaving me $$$ in interest. He found a great deal on the car that i liked even though my credit was really low... He did everything he could to get me on the car that i was looking for... I had to bring my car in for service for an audio software update due to static in the radio/ Sirius xm "the recall basically". The problem was fixed by Rene House within a few hours and I was ready to go. However, as soon as I left the dealership, I noticed that my compass was not displayed/showing on my color information display (center screen), so I had to bring my car and leave it overnight so they could figure out/fixed why the compass was not showing. I received a call from Juan Reyes and he informed me that the problem was fixed.My overall experience with the service department is Excellent. They do a great job in figuring and solving issues in the vehicle. You cannot go wrong here at this dealership.Also Gladys McGilber & Juan Reyes III

I highly recommend that if anyone needs help to look for this guy. I dread going to (any) dealerships...I usually find that people who work there to be too overbearing and come across rude, but this guy was really pleasant to work with.

Having experienced other shops that either don't have an appointment system or do but don't stick to it, it was a pleasure dealing with Downtown Honda. I called and booked an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation that fit into my schedule with a very helpful and friendly employee named Yessi. I showed up 10 minutes early and they were able to see me immediately, which was great. The staff was very professional and courteous, and did not try to upsell me on services and parts my vehicle did not need (I know that nothing is wrong with my vehicle, and other places have tried to do this). They got me in and out in no time, and the price was phenomenal. Will definitely be back for future service!!

I took my 2010 Honda Accord in for an oil change and my service advisor Jae Chung informed me that I had a recall that I knew nothing about, other service departments I have taken my car to only informed of things that would cost me, I found that to be refreshing and I need to get my car earlier than I thought and they kindly accomdated me without any hassle. I will be taking my car there from here on out and inform my friends and co-workers about this dealership's service department. I never take out time to right reviews but as I type this there is a smile on my face of relief and there is still good customer service on this earth.

This is an awesome, clean, friendly, and great customer service dealership..Woohoo!!!!! to Honda Downtown. I had a diagnostic done on my vehicle. The price was fair and it was deducted from my total price. This dealership didn't try to overcharge me or get me to purchase things that I didn't need on my vehicle. I was offered water and coffee, while I was waiting on my vehicle. For the amount of work that was needed on my vehicle, they sure got me in and out within 2 1/2 hours. All of my family members have Honda vehicles and we use downtown Honda to fix our cars. I recommend everyone, who has a Honda, to use Honda downtown LosAngeles for your service needs. Also, they have great deals going on right now, on new and use vehicles. I'm thinking about trading mine in, in the next six months. Keep up the great work Honda dwontown Los Angeles!!!!!!!!!!!

Given how great an experience I had with Honda of Downtown Los Angeles (HDLA), I felt compelled to write a positive review on every site I could find. Before I started writing I couldnt help but read all the previous reviews and I realized something: if I had read those reviews even a day earlier I never would have set foot inside the dealership. It is part of the research that I normally do before a car purchase, so it is unusual that I neglected it this time, but I am so glad that I did.My experience started Friday with a series of emails and phone calls with Michael Gennello and Enrique Correa of HDLAs Internet Sales Department. I brought to them the best offers I had received after a couple weeks of contacting dealers all over Southern California (I was looking for an Odyssey minivan), and they were courteous and pleasant and honest about what they could do and what they could not do. They ended up quoting (what I thought was) a terrific lease deal (in an email, with specifics) and, since they had the color I wanted, I told them I would be in first thing Saturday to pick up the car. They said only to ask for Rico when I arrived.When it came time to drive to the dealership yesterday, I felt a pang of anxiety as it dawned on me that I was being handed off to someone who might not honor the deal I had been offered. Then, when I arrived at the dealership (a little early, I admit), Rico was not in (yet). My anxiety grew. I was handed off to Charles Reneaux, a young, very friendly salesperson who promised to honor any deal I had been promised the night before but had no information or specifics. Also, luckily, another Internet Manager appeared who claimed to have been aware of the deal and who said he would try to track down the specifics in the computer. I crossed my fingers.Just at that moment, the owner and president of HDLA, Joe Shuster, walked in and introduced himself and asked if there was anything he could do. I could only assume, from him and from the half-dozen employees that did exactly same thing, that all the attention was due to the fact that it was before 9am on a Saturday and I was the only customer on the salesroom floor. Obviously I could not observe every interaction that they were having with every other customer that morning, but from what I saw, the staff was friendly and warm to everyone that came in to the showroom.Mr. Shuster was very friendly and chatted me up about the deal terms, about what I do, about my family (I was there for a minivan after all), about his experiences as the new owner of the dealership. He also decided to personally oversee the transaction and made sure that everyone was taking care of me. Charles was great too, hustling all around, making sure the car was getting prepped, that finance was readying the paperwork, that he had the necessary signatures on the necessary documents, and so on.Even though the day appeared to be going perfectly, it was at this point, however, after the owner had taken a personal interest in the deal, that I became most anxious that the whole thing was going to fall apart. Remembering past experiences, I feared that the owner, once taking a look at the specifics of what was, objectively, a very aggressive deal, would put a stop to the whole thing. But he did not. Mr. Shuster, along with his salesperson, Charles, shepherded the process along and made sure I got exactly what I was promised.All in all, I had a terrific experience at Honda of Downtown Los Angeles. I would recommend it to anyone.

I went in to purchase a vehicle on 3/13/13. My first impression was not a good one because all of the sales people seemed too busy to welcome me, see what I wanted or even bother to say hello. The first sales rep I was referred to was on a personal phone call and didn't bother to pull himself away long enough to even introduce his self. I was handed over to another sales rep to take me on a sales drive. I contacted one of the internet sales people prior to my arrival to an effort to save time working through the details of the lease/lease payments including down payment information and monthly lease payments. Once I arrived, the initial offer/down payment I was quoted was three times what I had been previously quoted by the internet sales person. After going back and forth between the sales person and the manager a few times, I asked to see the manager because I did not have time to waste if they were not able to honor what I was quoted online. Long story short, it was a BIG waste of 2 hours. My salesperson was Tracy--she was virtually no help during the negotiation process. Sales Manager Danny (from NY) promised to call back the following day because he may be able to give a better deal the following day "depending on the number of cars sold the next day". I never received a call back from Danny. Tracy called me back on 3/25/13, 2 weeks later to inquire if I had purchased a car. I indicated that I took my business to BMW because they know how to treat their customers. I still don't understand how the lease price on the CRV they tried to sell me was only $40 cheaper per month than a BMW 328 and the price difference between the two cars is $10,000. with a 700+ credit score plus $2500-$3000 cash to put down as a down payment it should have been an easy sell for Honda. Beware, the $179 lease advertised in their store front window is just a shame to lure you into the dealership. Once there, they attempt to extort you for much more than what is advertised. My mother is in the market to upgrade her Accord for a newer model, but I wouldn't dare refer her to Downtown Honda after the terrible service I received.

Tracie Kim was a pleasure to do business with--very kind and helpful! Also, I couldn't drive our other car back to where I live in Irvine, so the dealership made accommodations for my car to be driven to me. This is probably a special case, but it showed that they went the extra mile to provide customer satisfaction. I was also treated very well--constantly asked if I needed anything like water, and I was given snacks. I would probably buy a car here again if I were looking for a new car.

Tracie Kim is the go to girl Q Honda Downtown !, Ive been car shopping for a while now, and believe it or not it took me three visit to the same dealer to make up my mind. On my third visit I meet Tracie Kim, and she was able to make that happen, easy. fast, fun. If only I would have dealt with her from my first visit. I have had bad experiences at other dealers that did not want to work with me. Downtown Honda Finance made it happen. I would higly recommend Tracie Kim for your go to girl on any Honda Purchases. This is the most friendly place i have ever shop for a car at. Even though my credit was horrible Ms Cindy the finance lady worked her stuff. I will always have great wonderful things to say about this company, everyone even the people i wasnt working with always made sure i was okay. s/o to charles who was the first person i talked to at the dealer. Being! my 2nd purchase from Downtown Honda they experience was just has I remebered when I purchased my daughters first car in 2001. It was a much older used car however it still runs, and has defiently served its purpose. This current experience with Downtown Honda was enjoyable and relaxing no pressure to purchase we came to buy a vehicle there fore we came prepared. Which helps with the contract responsiblity and your liabilty has a purchaser. I felt comfortable with the sales man Masoud Mousavi there was no pressure,We spoke to each other with respect,he was very confident in his product wanted to meet our needs with in reason, I respect that we both had a mutual interest,and was able to reach an agreement in a timely manner. We later completed the transaction with Cindy in finance who is very approchable. Meet the Sales General Manager Josphe Giuliano. Although, I came for a car that was not available, the manager saw that, and made me an amazing offer for a 2013 Honda Civic (which I liked, but hadn't set my heart on). I negotiated a little and my offer was accepted. The customer service there is PHENOMENAL, there is always someone there to help you! Charles (my Salesperson) was very nice, he was helpful and answered all of my questions. I'm in love with my car and am so glad that Honda of Downtown LA & Charles were there to help me!

I never thought I would buy a car with a CVT, but this car is great. Honda did a great job tricking you into thinking you are driving a car with a regular tranny. If you drive normal, the car simulates shifting....but put your foot down and you instantly know it's a CVT. I bought this for commuting not racing. I am averaging 33 mpg in mixed driving. I turned the econ off for a highway trip at80mph and got 30.3, so I turned it back on and will not touch it again. This car is comfortable and kind of fun to drive. I am happy with the long list of features the sport as to offer. I also know that since it's a Honda, it will run forever. Thank you Albert Hidalgo for all your help with our new car. Jose and I love it.

The dealer, E'ero Polus, is professional, but very polite, friendly, and expert everything what he did to get me my new car with trading my old car at the price I satisfied. One of the employees gave me a dozen roses on Valentine's day. Of course, the employees are friendly. Mr. Polus gave me a little time to say farewell to my old car. My overall experience at Honda of Downtown LA was positive. The salesperson (Tracie) was friendly and approachable. We were able to negotiate down to a price I felt great about. I didn't feel overly pressured and I felt like I was being met with honesty every step of the way, from the test drive to the paperwork processing where they try sell you add ons. My trip to the dealership to 100% free of slimy salesperson pushing. What a relief!

Buying a new car can be daunting but Honda of Downtown Los Angeles made the process easy. They got me exactly the model I wanted, which took some extra effort on their part. After first contacting another Honda dealer I got a much better deal from Honda of Downtown Los Angeles. The entire staff is friendly and very service-oriented. Though it is located in the downtown area where it is hard to drive around, I found the place and parked my care reasonably easily. I had selected the car I wanted on-line. I was happy that the sales person did not try to sell me any other model. I don't like pushy sales person. I was introduced to Mike Patel, and my first impression was that he did not fit into my stereotypical sales person's image. I liked that. He gave me time to question and think at each question. I felt I was given my chance to make up my own mind to decide. There was a person absent in the financing department and I had to wait for a rather extended period of time. I had Cynthis to do my paper work. She was strongly persuasive and I finally bought 5 year extedned warranty. I don't regret the decision. I would say she convinced me to buy it. In spite of long wait, missing manual, and missing set of keys, I appreciate my experience of dealing with genuinely sincere persons, and I came out of the dealership with very positive feeing.

Recently purchased my car at this dealership. I asked for a price quote to pretty much every socal dealerships and the downtown los angeles had the best price over any other dealerships. They were all very friendly and helpful. William even drove me to the bank to go get the security deposit. He was very patient and kind. Mike is one of the few honest car salesman in the industry, but more importantly, he is sincerely a good person. Horrible customer service! Couldn't even understand a word he was saying. We asked him questions about the Civic and Accord and he wouldn't answer our questions. Instead he gave us an attitude! Horrible horrible customer service from Jay Sung. He was very unprofessional wouldn't recommend this guy to anyone. Since it wasn't working out with this guy, we went up to E'ero Polus and he was very helpful. Showed us around and answered all of our questions about the Civic and Accord. As for experience, if we didn't have Jay Sung and had E'eros Polus first it would have been better.

I was treated like a VIP at this dealership. I have never had such a good experience buying a vehicle. I knew exactly what car I was getting, how much it would cost, and what the financing terms would be before I even got to the dealership. When I got there, there was no haggling, no "let me talk to my manager," and absolutely no tricks! I was in and out in an hour with a brand new car. Amazing!

I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking to purchase a new Honda or a used car. I was referred to this dealership because my sister purchased a car from there and they really gave her a great deal. When I went with my wife, we also took her sister and they both ended up buying cars from that dealership. Freddy Flores our sales man was superb! He paid attention to our needs and sold us a car that was perfect for my wife and sold my sister-in-law the same model.The only problem that we had was with the finance lady that was initially helping us. I forgot her name (I think I'm blocking it out from my mind because she ticked me off so bad), but then Tony stepped in and made us very happy.When the vehicle was delivered they made sure that my wife's phone was paired, she knew where everything was, and was comfortable with how to use them.I would recommend this dealer (especially Freddy Flores) to anyone looking for a car.

Without hesitation will I recommend anyone to work with David. Throughout the process he was professional, friendly, and resourceful. I am very particular and he met my expectations at every opportunity. Specifically, when I asked him to bring over a white Honda fit just to compare colors he immediately arranged for it to be brought over. He pointed out the positive features of the cars in a meaningul way that were actually relevant to what I was looking for. He also curteously gave my father-in-law and me enough time to briefly discuss things among ourselves without hovering. When it came to price negotiations he was a pro. From the beginning until the end of the sale he was an exemplar salesman. He even took a picture with my family in front of our new car!

So i came here and bought a car from them after they &amp;quot;agreed&amp;quot; over email to match another dealers offer. Of course, when i walked in, they started giving me the run around and tried to sell me add on's to get the special 0.9% financing which was agreed upon earlier in writing via email. After a few hours of back and forth, they finally gave in. Mind you, i was already pissed off at this point for wasting my time. Now heres the kicker, the car was delivered to me with an issue already. The Shifter was faulty and it caused the ignition to lock the key and wouldn't release it. Of course the sales person kept telling me its a security feature, over and over again to save his own butt. Its clearly not a security feature when its a faulty shifter. So after 5 days of driving, i finally return to Honda of DTLA to get this issue fixed. The service guy immediately see's the problem and puts me in a rental car. 1 week passes by, part not in, 2 week passes by, part comes in... WRONG PART. 3rd week comes by... nothing.. i finally file a complaint to Honda corporate and they call the dealership and finally expedite the part over. 4 days later, i finally get my car back.I get my car, inspect it.. no damages. Check inside.. guess what? ITS FREAKING FILTHY AND DISGUSTING AND GREASE STAINS EVERYWHERE. Leather is all dirty, finger marks all over the interior. How the hell do you return a brand new car so dirty and filthy? or course, only poor customer service folks do that. After i point it out, they bring it to get it washed and cleaned. No apologies, nothing. After it was returned, there were still stains everywhere but not as noticeable. Leather was still dirty. At this point, i just left and didnt want to deal with a piss poor dealership like this ever again. You bet this is the last time i ever do business or refer customers to this dealership.

The service guy immediately see's the problem and puts me in a rental car. 1 week passes by, part not in, 2 week passes by, part comes in... WRONG PART. 3rd week comes by... nothing.. i finally file a complaint to Honda corporate and they call the dealership and finally expedite the part over. 4 days later, i finally get my car back.I get my car, inspect it.. no damages. Check inside.. guess what? ITS FREAKING FILTHY AND DISGUSTING AND GREASE STAINS EVERYWHERE. Leather is all dirty, finger marks all over the interior. How the hell do you return a brand new car so dirty and filthy? or course, only poor customer service folks do that. After i point it out, they bring it to get it washed and cleaned. No apologies, nothing. After it was returned, there were still stains everywhere but not as noticeable. Leather was still dirty. At this point, i just left and didnt want to deal with a piss poor dealership like this ever again. You bet this is the last time i ever do business or refer customers to this dealership.

I'm new to LA and was a little nervous about buying a car on my own for the first time in an unfamiliar area. The staff here were super helpful and extremely customer service oriented. I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a car.

Great services provided by William. He did an awesome job on the price and was prompt in getting back to us and we were out of the dealership with our new mini-van within a couple of hours. Explained all the technical details of the car.Would definitely rate him as a great sales associate.

Service was great. Everything was on point my Honda got everything that was needed to be taken care off. Everyone was friendly helpful and the job was fast which was even more awesome! ! For the first time I'm happy and satisfied! And not angry or disappointed.

I really had a great experience here. My car was throwing a couple of service codes, so I brought it in basically for a diagnostic -- to find out exactly what was going on. As it turned out, one code was basically a false alarm that required a small fix and the other one a much larger problem that can wait a while and which I couldn't afford to address right now. The repair on the smaller issue was prompt and very affordable and as for the larger problem there was no pressure whatsoever to take care of it right away which was very welcome :)The customer service provided by Rene House was top notch, and all the employees were extremely courteous and professional. I would highly recommend Honda Downtown for service.

When I first walked in "Joe" the owner, and the dealer crews greeded me with a great smiles and made me felt welcome. Then on, my main salesman "Michael Lee", who I want to give my biggest appreciation for giving me the best rock bottom price on my 2013 Accord. Everything went smooth until when I had to go into a little room to finalize the paerwork documents with "Cynthia Cubero". It was a nightmare!!! I was overwhelmed by her unprofessional work ethic towards the customer. With my credit rate of 850 and higher, I have advised Cynthia before she inputs all my information to the online banks to find out my credit, I said, "Please give me the lowest APR" and she said sure!. After few minutes passed, she came up with this rediculous APR rate of 6.55 and then of course I said, please run credit it again, by saying that, all of sudden, she turned into a most aggressive evil faced person i have ever seen. Cynthia not only threw my drivers license toward where I was sitting, filled with anger, and she didn't even talk to me until the end of our document process. I litterally had to just sit there and kept quiet at all time. Because of her aggressive attitude, Madness, I had to get out of that little office to get some help. Luckly I got hold of "Joseph" (General manager) came in and literally stayed with us so there won't be any more commotions. Long story short, I don't know why I had to go through that HELL experience as a customer. Besides that situation, Other people were wuper friendly!!Joseph Shin. (Customer)

The service department was great. I was able to schedule my service appointment the same day. The prices for the oil change is awesome. I no longer have to go to an independent shop to get my oil changed.

Being a single woman with pretty bad credit, I went into the Honda Downtown Los Angeles dealership thinking that once they run my credit, I was going to be denied. Just the opposite happened. John recognized my need and assured me that I would be going home with a car. John along with all of the staff at Honda Downtown Los Angeles took care of me. While waiting for the credit report, we chatted about everything under the sun. John noticed that I was anxious and offered me a cup of water and some orange juice from his drawer :. I did not feel like I was being taken advantage of. I was comfortable and secure am so thankful and appreciative. People here are not HONEST, but they act very professional. Called the dealer to purchase a used car that I considered a deal. The person, Michael, who helped me on the phone said the car is available and said it was a executive deal. I drove to the dealer (50 miles a trip), a person named Bill helped and introduced me to a manager named Joseph. Bill mentioned that the car was already sold couple days ago. Michael is an internet sales person and he did not know the car was already sold. At the end, Bill try to offer the same car with $2k more. Joseph said it was a person mistake to tell customer the card was still available. Reader can figure out the rest. They use bait and switch to attract people come over to their dealer.

I own my 5th Honda with the last being from this dealership and I am obviously a tremendous fan of Honda. Honda LA and Honda Hollywood are easily the worst places for service. First time i went to Honda LA i went for a safety inspection. There were a few issues with my (2005) civic but no one was available to tell me the specifics. I sent an email shortly after and no response. Now i am having an issue with the airbag light on the dash (which turns out is a very common issue). (After doing some research i discovered it was a loose wire (i do not know how it came loose). I connected it back to where it goes but the light stayed on. So i took it to honda of hollywood. the rep who talked to me, after explaining my situation, told me he couldn't do anything without a $140 diagnostic first. so i took it to honda of LA. i spoke to a mike carter who told me the exact same thing. both were more interested in $140 than to actually listen to me. even mike carter told me "no quick fix". finally before leaving i decided to do the safety inspection again only to be told the one who does the inspections is off. (this was about 440 pm) thanks to all this nonsense i now hate honda. i plan on selling my civic and getting a car from a company that is more reliable like Toyota. Bottom line: HONDA IS A TERRIBLE COMPANY!!!!!!

I needed to sell my Honda and after taking it to CarMax and one other dealer I was very disappointed in the all over experience. I brought it to Honda of Downtown Los Angeles and was meet with Brett Turner. He was very professional and knowledgeable and I really enjoyed doing business with him and the dealership.

I worked with Jessica Daniels to buy a new Honda Fit. I was helping my daughter to buy this car as she was moving from New York City to LA. We worked with Jessica to put the deal together over the phone and through email. We got a great price and the accessories we wanted and they installed them prior to delivery. Jessica did a get job in arranging to have all the sales contract paperwork sent my daughter so it was all signed and ready to go prior to her arriving in LA. My daughter flew into LA on a Friday night, the dealership pick her up on Saturday at her apartment and she drove away in her new red Honda Fit, a couple of hours later. Jessica and her team at the dealership were friendly and helpful and very professional. They did what they said and I couldn't be more pleased with my experience. I would definitely recommend Jessica and Honda of Downtown LA.

Horrible Place I bought a Honda and couple days later the Trunk lock was loose. So I went to get that fixed and the Guy started telling me I had replaced the Trunk. Then after 2 hrs he admit it wasn't replaced, he just couldn't see the dealer sticker. Couple months later I received a letter to come trade in my old Honda for a newer model. The letter stated the Honda Dealer was really in need of pre owned Vehicles. I knew I would have to pay more to trade and a letter was just a trick to get me to come to the dealership. So i did, and when I got there couple guys standing outside and One of them comes to help me and keeps asking how much I still owe on my car. I kept telling him I had already paid it off. SO we went to see newer year Hondas and the guy goes we have these 2 and rest are in a parking lot couple blocks away. Instead of helping me with what prices he can give me and make a deal, he starts talking on the Phone!!!!. We stand in front of the car for 20 min while he talks on the Phone and talks to his friend who is walking by. I ask him again how much different would I have to pay. He says well manager is tough so maybe like $16,000 more!!!!! He had no interest of selling me a car. He got my number and took the letter and never called by. Horrible sales!!!. He was unable to give me a price on my car and couldn't tell a good deal for a new one. His name is Ricky Caballero. Horrible sales guy

This is one of the better dealer service centers I have ever used. As soon as I pulled in Juan came out to help me. He was very professional and gave me the confidence that they would be able to take care of my 2012 Civic. He stayed in touch with me throughout the process. Very nice experience.

As a first time car buyer, I spent about seven weeks researching the Honda Fit, comparing it to a few other similar vehicles. After receiving a few quotes, I knew what I was willing to pay, and wanted to work with a dealership closer to home. Downtown Honda took excellent care of me through the whole process, and we were able to negotiate a price right where I wanted it, with the options that I wanted. There was only one push for an option I wasn't interested in, but as soon as I said no, they dropped it no problem. I didn't mind, as it's kind of their job to upsell. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and would recommend them to anybody.

I called into the dealership to find out if they have any special. Michael answered and immediatly told me about their red tag sales event, and how right now is the best time to purchase a car. I set an appointment to go into the dealership and when I arrived I met with Tom. Tom was very professional and nice throughout the whole process. He wasnt pushy in the least bit. He helped me find my Civic, and I got a deal that was better than anything any dealership had offered me already. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone, I would ask for mike or tom when you call in. They made my Car purchasing experience very pleasant. Thanks!

I was contacted by Matthew McClendon in the in the internet sales department. I want a 2012 Honda Accord EX-L with Navi for 22k out-the-door. He responded with its my lucky day and he has spoken with his manager and to come in to get my new car. I was also contacted by a man named Robert and he assured me everything would go smoothly and the whole process would take less than an hour. Well I show up and not only do they not have the car but Matt at this point is acting as if his mind is short on memory! I told him flatly in email that I will not waste his time and not to waste my time. If he can deliver the car I am asking for at the price I am asking for, I will pick up the car and the deal is done. My being at the dealership will not change ANYTHING if the car and price is not available. Well needless to say I left without a new car that day and completely annoyed by my time being wasted!

In my experience, its hard to shop for a car without feeling like a gazelle in a room with lions. NOT HERE! What a refreshing experience. I have never felt so great throughout the entire car buying process as I did at Honda DTLA. I browsed around at my pace, and when I was good and ready - Tom helped me find exactly what I was looking for. He was composed, courteous, polite and professional. Most importantly, he got me into the car I wanted with the deal I wanted. What more can one ask for? I was looking for a very specific option package/color combination. This dealer was the only dealer in the state with the exact car I wanted. Once I found it I went to purchase it that day. I explained on my arrival that time was a constraint and that I needed to be out the door at a specific time. I was assured that would not be a problem. It was. Went to get in the new car (I had not test driven it) and it was sitting in the shop, untouched with a dead battery. This took fifteen more minutes. I had to back my brand new car out of the service bay myself to take delivery. While headed up Figueroa to get on the freeway I saw the low fuel light on. Had to go back to the dealer making me even later. At the gas station the dealership credit card would not work. We had to go back to the dealership to get another card making me even later. I was told to come back on Friday for my due-bill. When I arrived on Friday they had no idea why I was there and had not ordered the needed parts. They had planned on installing some cheap aftermarket components rather than the Honda parts I specifically requested. I was told to come back the next day. The next day they had an aftermarket installer put in my factory remote start system. In the process they damaged my headliner and broke my fuse box, both of which have had to be replaced. Of course by time they get around to making the damage repairs it has been nearly a month since the purchase date. Now I am getting calls from Enterprise because the rental they provided me while they had my Honda has not been paid for. In addition, I am still waiting for my jack tool kit. Six weeks after the purchase and I am still having to deal with this. I would avoid this dealer like the plague. They can sell you a car all day long. Just don't expect any followup.

Purchased a 2012 Honda Fit, Sport, Manual from Honda of Downtown LA on 12/30/2011. Requested a quote online and received one within a few days (this was during the Christmas/New Years week). Stephanie contacted me and worked with me on a price. Paid $17, 375 (ex: tax/lic). This was a fair price. Made an appointment to meet at dealer to process docs and purchase car. Met with sales rep Tanner Trowbridge on 12/30/2011 and he worked with me on the purchase. Since I knew what I wanted and had a price the sale was quick and easy. Great customer service from Tanner and all of the staff at Honda of Downtown LA. Picked the car, confirmed the price, and then worked with the finance rep Jeania Jarulratana. Finance was quick and easy. Once finance was complete Tanner did the pre-delivery check list and I was good to go. Sales Manager Henry Ford (no relation to the original H. Ford) checked in on me and made sure I was happy. I was. I would recommend Honda of Downtown LA. Since I was prepared, did my research, and knew what I wanted everything went smooth. Job well done Honda.

Buying a car can be quite overwhelming however, Celebrity Honda in Downtown Los Angeles has a way of easing the pressures of this experience. The sales/finance staff is genuinely helpful and not at all aggressive and pushy as many can be. By the time I left the dealership, half the staff knew me on a first name basis!
