Experience at Hoffman was easy. Sales person was friendly and didn't push vehicles at me. There was a no pressure sales atmosphere which made my decision easier. Everyone I worked with is knowledgeable in their respective positions and were willing to answer all my questions. Even being an out of state purchaser I would drive the 300 miles to work with Hoffman Ford again. Thanks to the folks at Hoffman Ford, hope to see you again.

Contacted Dan Blazina in Hoffman's Internet Sales and asked for their best quote for a 2016 F-150 Supercrew 4X4 and received a response in less than 24 hours. Hoffman delivered their best quote and notified them that I had requested quotes from other local dealers for the same model. Hoffman's quote was the lowest, we accepted their offer, and met the next day at noon, closing the deal. Received excellent service from Milt Watson who took the time to explain the technology and operation of the new truck. Mountains of paperwork were completed with Justin Forer in less than half an hour and I drove my new vehicle home (cleaned and filled w/ gas) that afternoon. This was an experience that will be pleasantly remembered and shared with many others.

I bought a new 2017 Ford Escape Titanium from Hoffman Ford on 8/16/16. I compared the model with equivalent Chevys and this car took the cake. It handles great, it has better gas mileage and power than my old 2011 Chevy Equinox and it has many more features and options at a lower price than the new Chevy Equinox models. Hoffman Ford gave me the best trade-in value (compared with 3 other Ford and Chevy dealers - I had my eye on about 8 different cars), the best dealer price and showed the most interest in my business. Hoffman's staff is top notch - all employees were courteous and friendly and were truly interested in what I was looking for, not what they wanted to sell me. Ben Breneman was my sales professional and he was great. The purchase was seamless and the accessories I purchased were installed correctly and expertly. The car is beautiful and handles great. They went out of there way to get us exactly what we wanted. Our saleswoman was so sweet and helpful. Explained everything on the new truck. We wanted a 4 wheel drive like the one on the lot which was 2 wheel drive., and they found us one from out of state in 2 days. Very happy with the whole deal. We had people refer us to them, now we know why.! All great people to work with. We also spoke to some other people, told us their experience was also great. I was in the market for car, and I settled on Ford Fusion Energi. Contacted Hoffman by email, and had a prompt response. Setup an appointment to see the car. Took the car for a test drive, and decided to buy. My sales person, Ben, showed me the cars many features, and how to use them. He even took the time to demo the parallel parking assist feature. The F&I person had all the forms ready to sign when the time came. There was no need to wait on anything.Overall, the best car buying experience ever.

They will bend over backward for you to resolve problems with your car. When a problem arises they try to get to the resolution of the problem for whatever it takes. Sometimes like you and I know problems arise with your car and you cannot identify it. The service dept. will give there best, to come up with a resolution. I commend them for that, because as you know problems arise, and it is hard to identify them. If they cannot correct the problem, they will give you the benefit of telling you, your next approach for your vehicle.

Went to look at a mustang, drove one wife liked asked about leasing options(ford site has leas options) finance manager seemed upset about wanting to lease one(didnt know my wife was standing there when he went off about it). They seemed to throw something together quickly said dont lease a mustang, totally turned us off, will not go back in the future, Milton was very nice, but manager guy not so much

We just purchases our second new vehicle from Hoffman. Working with Ben Breneman has been a great experience and I would you go see him if shopping for a new car. He is not about pressuring you, he makes sure you buy something you are most comfortable with while taking all the hassle out of the process. He also takes all the time you need to review and answer any and all questions you may have. I love my 2012 Escape and we just bought my mom a 2016 Edge, which she loves also. Friday before a major snow storm, I spoke with Patrick Roell and was informed that due to a prior oil change, the only one performed since I had bought my car, was performed incorrectly and had completely stripped the oil filter housing screw, and was not in drivable condition, as they were unable to install the oil filter. I had Patrick confirm to me that the housing was destroyed and was likely caused by over-tightening of the oil filter by a non-Ford service center. I have done oil changes of my own before. I know how to change my oil and filter. I have also had a garage, which I have gone to for years for my other vehicles, perform dozens of oil changes, and I have NEVER had a problem. I was immediately suspicious of the diagnostic and asked to speak to the Services Manager. I was told that he was out moving cars in anticipation of the storm. When I explained that I would wait for him, I was told it would probably be hours before he could call me. I left my name and number and asked for someone to call me ASAP. I was never called. On Monday morning I finally received a call from a shift supervisor, Sheldon. When I explained to him my concerns, he continued to say what I had already been told. That the damage was caused elsewhere and that they could not install the oil filter. I asked him for the part # of the oil filter that was used prior, and verified that it was the correct one for my vehicle by my regular garage. They also explained that they hand tighten their oil filters and had not heard of over tightening to the point of destroyed threads. Upon calling back and speaking with Sheldon, I explained to him what my garage had said. He continued to state that it was not caused by them and that it didn't change that the filter could not be installed. I asked for him at this point to provide an estimate. When he called me a short time later, he said that it was going to be $260 to replace the entire housing, including labor. I decided to go in for myself at this time. I did not provide any notice that I was arriving, but showed up at around 5pm on 1/25. When I went in and asked to speak to Sheldon, the gentleman at the counter, Sean (He had Red hair, and I did not catch his name), went to find him. I saw that he began speaking with someone in the back and I was then told that Sheldon had left already when he returned. I then recognized the Services Manager, Joe Fischer, who was leaning back against the wall. When I confirmed from him, that he was the services manager, I asked him if he was aware of the situation. He said he was and that they had already explained the situation to me. I then asked him for a simple thing. That my car be brought in, and put up on the lifts, and the damage shown to me. Once that was done, and I could take some pictures, that I would be more comfortable authorizing repairs. He told one of his mechanics to bring the car in. I did not wait long before I was told that the car was up on the lift, and I was accompanied by Sean and two mechanics to my car. Once they removed they removed the heat shield, I was able to look upon the "destroyed" threading. To me, it seemed completely intact. I began to take pictures, which I still have, and asked where the damage was. They did show me a tiny bit of threading that appeared negligibly damaged. When I asked if that was what was preventing the oil filter from being installed and making my car non-driving condition. I was told yes. I then asked for an oil filter and was handed the correct one by one of the mechanics. Wouldn't you know...I INSTALLED IT MYSELF ON THE FIRST TRY! The technicians stood there, jaws agape, in disbelief. They removed it, put oil on the gasket, and attempted to install it again. The technician half-heartedly tried to put it on and "had difficulty", but yet again, I had no problem installing the oil filter. I instructed them to fill the car with oil and release my car.

I hadn't bought a car in 9 years. I did some research online and requested information from this dealer. I received a response within several hours. I visited the dealer and they had 2 vehicles ready that met my requirements. they didn't try to sell me an upgraded model and they gave me above maximum blue book value for my trade-in. it was a better experience than I expected.

Awful experience. Don't go here for repairs! They totally ripped me off on my car repair. After they finally realized that they were wrong about the cause of my problem, I had already spent hundreds of dollars and they were unwilling to offer me any kind of recompense. They basically committed extortion by refusing to give me my car keys unless I paid for my completely unnecessary alternator replacement. I will never forgive them. At best they are incompetent and at worst they are criminals.

I purchased a used 2012 Dodge Ram from Julie Skronski. The truck was cleaned and full of fuel, ready to be test driven when I got there. At several dealerships I went too, the trucks I made appointments to see, were dirty and low on fuel. I was encourage to take the truck for a test drive for as long as I wanted, not just around the block. Upon returning everyone was very pleasant. We were travelling on I-81 north at 6:00 pm on a Thursday and discovered our left front wheel smoking. We got off the highway and found that Hoffman Ford service department was still open. Even though they were due to close at 8 pm, they replaced the brake pads and caliper and hoses, and stayed open late to finish the job. No other dealer has ever shown this type of care and service, or late hours - these folks saved the day for us and we are grateful! Great team, we highly recommend.

I'm 20 years old and have owned 2 vehicles in my life. Both were purchased at Hoffman. I wouldn't go anywhere else to buy a vehicle. We stopped in to look for a Ford Escape after researching online and visiting another Ford dealer. We fully intended to just see what they had in stock and maybe even test drive some other models elsewhere. But our salesman, Mike, was so helpful and patient that we ended up purchasing our vehicle and driving it home the same day. Mike even stayed after closing to go over every function of the car with us. We also really liked the seminar we attended on the My Ford technogy. I was never intending on buying a vehicle the day I got my 2006 F150 serviced but things just worked out that way! From Bob's patience while showing me the vehicle because of the frequent interruptions from the little ones. To Mike playing along with my inquisitive five year old while my wife and I were discussing the deal. Very impressed with absolutely no pressure and very comfortable even on a Saturday Afternoon. I also appreciated Tracy making the paper signing an enjoyable process(can't have too much fun!!!) HAHA, and Tony for taking his time to show me all the features of the navigation system. When I went the sales man was cool when it came to making a deal his boss not so cool going for a normal deal the guy was getting mad. Now that was at the new side. I got another car from the used guy and they messed the paper work up and are very tricky. Before I got the car I took my truck there to get oil changed and other things spend a lot of money there and every time they messed something up they don't do much to make you feel better about it. It comes down to if you want a ford they are close if you want a ford and don't mind a drive I would take the drive to another ford dealer.

Nina Harrisburg PA. I having nothing but Great News to anyone that wants to buy a Ford, this is my 6th vehicle that I purchased from Hoffman and I am very well satisfied with the Service, Repairs, Facilities, Management and most of all I am very happy with my 2014 Ford Escape. We just bought a 2014 Ford Fusion at Hoffman Ford and the process couldn't have been easier! Our Sales Consultant Mike Gotschall was great. He answered all our questions and made the whole sales experience easy with no pressure. The night we picked up the car, Mike gave us a run through of what all the car controls did, we were clearly there past normal business hours, but he didn't rush us through, he took his time and made sure all our questions were answered. We would definitly recommend Hoffman Ford, and Mike Gotschall to our friends and family.

I visited several dealerships throughout the Central PA area and was very pleased with how Taira Little responded to my inquires about the car Hoffman Ford had for sale. I finally got some time to stop by and meet with Ed Hoak, our salesman. Ed was very nice. He handled all our questions, courteous, responsive to our needs and overall did a great job. When I first walked into the Hoffman showroom and met my saleman Brandon Parker, everything started to come together. I had only stopped in to test drive the new Escape, thinking it was going to be to small. A short test drive changed my mind and Brandon was able to answer all of my questions with ease. I got a great deal and I was surprised by how easy the process was. Everyone I met at Hoffman Ford was very helpful. A few days later I attended Sync by ride / My Ford Touch class and they answered all of my questions in detail. I know if I have any issues they are only a phone call away. I was very satisfied with my experience at Hoffman Ford and we love the new Escape.

For many years I have been a Nissan guy and had planned on replacing my Murano with another Nissan. My plans were changed when the local Harrisburg Nissan dealers were not willing to provide me a good deal or even look for the vehicle I wanted. I had always liked the new Escape but thought it was too small. That all changed with a test drive and meeting of Brandon Parker. Brandon was very helpful in answering all my questions and provided me with a great deal. I recently attended the My Ford Touch class provided by Mary Pratt and team. Proof that they are providing service after the sale. Great experience.

Thanks to Hoffman and Jim Bibb for making our new car purchase a delightful experience. They were accommodating, helpful, and enthusiastic. The process was seamless and easy. We are pleased with our new vehicle and look forward to seeing less of their service department staff, who thoughtfully cared for our ailing 18 year old Mustang for the past five or six years. Milt Watson is "THE MAN". I have never felt so at ease buying a car in my life. The entire transaction was smoothe and easy going. He answered all my questions and was very helpful in every way possible. Then he brought over Ryan, whom I remember as a kid on TV. It was a pleasure to meet him and talk with him. I am very happy with my new 2014 Ford Focus. 32.5 mpg around and can't wait till we take this on a trip to Colorado. They beat the competition by thousands of dollars and that is a BIG DEAL. Again, Milt Watson is a credit to the Hoffman Ford sales team and to the company as a whole. I will buy from Hoffman again and again. I went here to test drive a used truck I found online and was not happy with it. Joe patiently worked with me allowing me to test drive several other trucks. Both he and the used car manager(didn't get his name) were very patient and finally found me exactly what I was looking for in a used truck! Top notch customer service! I contacted Hoffman Ford, Harrisburg, Pa. because every dealer around Berwick could not find what we wanted to buy. Local dealers kept trying to tell me what I wanted, not what they had that I wanted. Hoffman Ford, Brad Parker, went out of his way to locate and find just what we were looking to buy. The entire buying process was a pleasant deal. They exceeded all of my expectations! When or if I need another vehicl I will travel more than 100 miles to Hoffman Ford.

I recently went looking for a new F150. Hoffman didn't have exactly what I wanted. My salesman, Ben Brennerman spent time with me searching the internet until we found a vehicle I was interested. I have bought my last two trucks from Hoffman's. They are an outstanding organization with great customer service. My most recent salesman Milt, was a straight up man. Very approachable, friendly, and definitely not pushy(which is huge to me because I hate nothing more than a salesperson pressuring and being pushy). Would recommend him to anyone. Please tell him I'm loving my F-250!!! The service department was fantastic to me and did all my services to my F-150 before I traded it in. I was more than pleased with everything they did. I am looking forward to same treatment with my 250 as I was with my 150.

I was recently in to purchase a 2014 F-150 on March 3, 2014. I was recommended to Jim Bibb (my salesman) by a very close friend of mine. The experience from start to finish was excellent. Jim was very prompt in making phone calls, he was extremely courteous, and me feel like a friend instead of a sale. He treated my 13 year old daughter with respect and courtesy, and even let her munch on some of his snacks. When he went over the numbers with me, he was clear, concise, and explained everything well. The truck was even cleaned up and ready for me to drive home that day. So a big thank you goes out to Jim, and also Daniel, who helped me pair my iPhone with the Sync system before I drove off. I would recommend that anyone looking to buy a vehicle see the guys and gals at Hoffman Ford!

I showed up on a snowy Saturday afternoon and had one thought in mind... buying a new Escape. Leslie helped to facilitate that. She was friendly and very helpful through the process. I found the exact vehicle I wanted thanks to the extensive selection of vehicles. The paperwork was done as quickly as possible and explained in detail. I have dropped by 3 Ford dealerships in the area just to browse. Hoffman Ford is by far the best. No pressure sales and best of all they talk to you to see what your needs are and what your budget is. Our salesperson made suggestions, which were helpful, but in the end the customer has to make the decision. I appreciate their suggestions because they are the ones that know their cars and trucks. The saleperson we dealt with knew the inventory and was very knowledgeable about the cars we were considering so we could make a comparison. I rated Hoffman Ford on all the categories because I've had experience with all of them. The service department will work with you and do whatever they can to get your vehicle in and out when you need it. Hoffman's have many returning customers for a reason. Thanks!

First time dealing with Hoffman Ford. I had truck there for repair and get painted. I was very impressed with the body shop. They were very friendly, knowledgeable, and prompt on repairing my truck. I was also impressed on great paint job. Truck looks great. For good quality service I do recommend going to Hoffman Ford for repairs. Will also buy my next truck from this dealer. Thank you Ron, and the body shop crew.

Upon driving into the lot, I was immeadiately greeted by the salesman. He was very courteous and not PUSHY. After I pointed out the vehicle I was interested in, we chatted, exchanged phone numbers and I left. I thought about it and ultimately contacted him to finalize the purchase. I got a fair deal on my trade in as well as what I paid for the vehicle. The salesman was very respectable, courteous and accomodating. I got everything promised to me without hassle. Most importantly, the salesman kept his word and contacted me or returned my calls as promised. I had a good experience with Hoffman Ford and will not hesitate to do business with them in the future. Now, I'll just see if he follows through on the floor mats he promised to get for my vehicle! :-)

Our vehicle was in an accident during one of the first snow storms of 2013, inbetween Thanksgiving and Christmas with damage to the front end. Hoffman had our vehicle for a month (we were okay with that) however they called three different times saying the vehichle was ready to be picked up. Mind you, this is a 2012 vehichle with 16,000 miles on it. Both times we went to pick up the vehicle to bring it home it was not ready, missing parts, paint needed fixed, it was just a nightmare. Now, 3 weeks later the vehicle had to go to Bobby Rahal Ford in Dillsburg because the check engine light came on and the vehicle went BACK to Hoffman Ford and they said that it an issue that would need to be looked at by Bobby Rahal and covered under waranty. Fine, so now we go to Dillsburg just for them to tell us that the hoses were never hooked up correctly by Hoffman when they were fixing it, cost over $100 out of pocket to pay for a mistake Hoffman Ford could not figure out. Honestly, it has been nothing but a nightmare and I would not recommend Hoffman Ford to anyone.

Raising a family was our first priority and we always owned used vehicles because that was what the budget allowed. Now 41 years later we finally did it and now own our very first NEW car. The process to get there was made so easy by the Hoffman staff. We start with the internet meeting up with Taira who asked some probing questions, My one request was No Red! She then came back with a great quote - which led to us setting up the appointment at Hoffman Ford Showroom where we met Brandon. With file in hand from Taira who had marked in bold letters NO RED - SHE LISTENED!! Off we went with Brandon. What a joy working with Brandon, his patience never waivered and he answered so many questions and always smiled. Our test drive was in a Steel Gray Metallic Focus and many more questions because there were so many gadgets! Again Brandon explained everything. He made it easy...I wasn't sold on the color but he had another color to show me. Candy Blue. SOLD....I loved the color - finance was a breeze....the rest is history. Love my car and the experience with the staff at Hoffman Ford was #1. Next step getting my blue tooth set up and I'm sure Brandon will be there for us.

My husband and I made a bad decision buy buying a F150 that was way out of our price range back in September of 2013. After 4 months of payments we quickly realized that we needed to get out from under this truck. We went to a Ford dealer in Maryland who couldnt help us at all. Then we went to another Ford dealer in Red Lion who could help us out but it wasnt the car that we had wanted or we need to wait till we had more money down. At that point we gave up and decided to return to Hoffman Ford where we bought the truck to cancel the extended warranty which would but $2000.00 in our pocket which we could use along with our income tax return to help cover some of the debt we incurred with the truck. The moment I walked in the door I saw Ben Breneman, who was our salesmen on the first deal. He recognized me right away and asked what he could do for me. I said sadly in need to cancel this extended warranty. I explained why and he said he could do better than the other places we had went to. I didnt hold my breath but after 5 hours of fighting with the bank and crunching numbers I drove away that day with a new 2014 Ford Fusion. I absolutely love it and as much as I hated to see the truck go, I am much happier and with my car. I should have just returned to Hoffman Ford in the first place. It would have saved me time and money. Thanks for everythingyou have a customer for life.

I had just left the garage where I usually have my vehicles inspected. I had bad news. My 1999 Ford Ranger did not pass inspection because the frame was rusted out. I suspect it was from the couple of winters that I spent in Michigan. I needed a truck and decided to stop at Hoffman to see what they had on the lot. I was looking for a basic 4 wheel drive truck. I found out that I got a much better deal on an extended cab SXT F150 with a 5 liter engine. The salesman, Ben, was very friendly and knew a lot about the truck. I decided to buy it and picked it up two days later. I have bought vehicles from Hoffman several times in the past. I love the truck except for one thing, the gas mileage. The truck has a tow package and I didn't think about how much the tow package would affect the gas mileage. After all, the sticker said 16 mpg city and 19 mpg highway. In actuality I get 12.6 mpg in my rural area driving and on a recent 600 mile round trip to NY I got 14.7. I am still deciding what to do about that. It is not a fault of Hoffman but Ford needs to better advise potential customers if the mpg's don't fall in line with what the sticker proudly proclaims. The caveat is a statement that says that gas mileage may vary depending on equipment.

I was not even really looking for a new car. I was happy with my 2003 Ford Escape that had served me well for the last ten years. However, after a shopping trip with my husband we were passing Hoffman Ford on Route 22 on the east side of Harrisburg, PA when he said, "Let's stop and look at the new Ford Escapes." That surprised me, but it was a nice day so we thought we would just look, not being real serious about getting a new Escape. Anyway, the saleslady, Leslie Johnson came out and started to show us the new Escapes and she did a good job explaining all the features. As Leslie was getting an Escape ready for us to test ride, we noticed a sharp looking car in the showroom that caught our attention, which was a Focus. We were looking at it and liked the styling and features. Leslie came out ready for us to test drive the Escape, and that is when we told her we would rather test drive the Focus. She was very good about us changing our minds (this is probably a common occurrence in the car business), and then took the Focus for a test ride. I was immediately impressed on how the car handled and the power it had to accelerate. It was very comfortable and a very classy automobile. My husband and I were both sold on the Focus after that short test ride. Leslie was real good about getting all the paperwork done for the transfer of my Escape (and I really did like that car) and acquiring the Focus. I have had the Focus for 4 months and can say it really is a great car and I had a very satisfying car buying experience (thanks to Leslie) at Hoffman Ford.

Internet shopping has changed the way I shop for a vehicle. Hoffman Ford had the vehicle detailed, out for display and ready for a test drive. Their online credit approval was fast and simple. After a 3 hour drive,we were at the dealership about 90 minutes then drove my new vehicle back home. Eric was very helpful with negotiating the right price. Great experience !!

The price was well worth the 75 miles I drove. Vehicle was just what they said it was. It's was very clean with a full tank of gas. One day after purchase I was contacted to make sure I was satisfied with the vehicle.

Went in looking for a used car I saw online. Wasn't thrilled with their initial value of my trade in, looked at new models and was disappointed with all the features I would have to give up to get the payment down. After more negotiations about the used car, ended up with a nice trade and bought the used car I was there for in the first place. Wasn't completely thrilled with my sales person, who was clearly focused on the sale and not building a relationship with me; but since they were able to meet my needs in the end, we had a deal that I think we were both happy with.

when ever coming to Hoffman ford, everyone gives a smile, and a HELLO, we got lucky and had a wonderful, slightly older salesman asking us some questions, and he delivered on all the answers we asked, he quickly got a key and a lic plate, and we took a test drive, and he pointed out different things while we were on a test drive, and when we got back, he really knew his facts, as we were impressed, and sat down to deAL, AND GOT THE OKAY, and then he ent us over to the $ man and that was very smooth, and informative, and it all worked out for us to buy a explorer (our first ford), and we took the course one evening BOUT GETTING TO KNOW YOUR CAR, AND ( HAD A BIT TO EAT ALSO),..IT ALL PANNED OUT VERY WELL, THAT IN 15 MONTHS, WE WERE BACK IN AGAIN TO UPDATE ANOTHER NEWER YEAR OF FORD........WE ARE very pleased. Hoffman Ford always goes out of their way on everything from customer service to working with customer to insure lowest pricing with the best interest rates on financing as well. They beat the best price by thousands of dollars. They didn't give excuses on not having the right color or style on the lot, they carry what you want! The whole experience was great as always, this was the 5th vehicle bought there over the years. We will continue to buy all our vehicles there. We shop around but always end up there because no one has been able to beat them.

This experience was so much easier than I expected. I picked my vehicle out on-line, got full details and my internet price, came in that evening and test drove my new Ford Fiesta!! And the finance guy got me a lower rate which with my credit I thought was impossible!! As Ben ( my salesman) showed me around the dealership everyone was so friendly!! The thing that impressed me the most is I was getting the base S model and not once was I pressured or even asked about buying a more expensive model!! I will fully recommend Hoffman Ford to anyone and also I want to tell everyone that me and my wife love our new fiesta!! It's a great little car and great gas mileage!!!

My husband and I started out one Saturday morning to visit Ford Dealers in the Mechanicsburg/Harrisburg area since we had been receiving advertisements through the mail regarding trading in our 2010 Ford Fusion. We ended up at Hoffman Ford where we originally purchased our Fusion in 2009. We were greeted by a friendly face who advised she thought she had exactly what we were looking for. This was around 10:00 o'clock in the morning and by noon time we were driving off of the lot with a brand new 2014 Ford Fusion. The salesperson could not have been more helpful than she was. Every question we had, if she did not know the answer, she asked someone and returned with an answer for us. We both have recommend Hoffman Ford to a majority of our friends and we have, in the past, purchased cars through Hoffman Ford for our business. Everyone is very helpful, kind and courteous. Brought one car at Hoffman Ford and had great service during and after the sale. Salesman were friendly and courteous. so that's what made us come back to Hoffman Ford for the second car where we received the treatment as the first time in the salesman and more some of the other sales man helped keep my kids occupied as we did paper work. Are salesman even took the kids with to put fuel in the car and wash it up. would go back again.

I preferred to do my shopping online due to our work and home schedules. The internet sales manager was excellent and responsive. Once the internet/online work was done the visit to the dealership was relaxing and accommodating. We had a great experience right up through the final contract signing. One of the best parts of the buying experience was the finance guy going outside the box and finding us a better rate and not pressuring us into anything we didn't want. Great walking to your new vehicle paying a lot less than expected when you first arrived.

I just got my 2009 White Nissan Versa here over a month ago and they were the most relatable and helpful team myself or my dad has ever encountered with a dealership! Amazing prices and they inspect every inch of every car before giving you your new baby :D I will, am and have been recommending this place to everyone I know is looking for a car. We did our research. We knew that our 2013 Ford Escape had a recall on a popping noise when you started it when it was cold outside. We wrote down the parts number and the recall number. We called Hoffman Ford and scheduled an appointment for the repair about a week out. We have to juggle our work schedules so that we can drop off the vehicle the night before and also pick it up before the end of the work day the following day. Hoffman has our vehicle for a full day. My husband goes to pick up our "repaired" vehicle and it is not done. You see, Hoffman did not order the part which just amazes me that they don't have it in stock since it is a recall problem. Also, we gave them all of the information needed in order to know what was wrong with the vehicle. It was not like we said it makes a weird noise when we use the brakes. If Hoffman would have ordered the part when we scheduled the appointment, the vehicle would have been fixed and we would have left as a very happy and satisfied customer. Now we are waiting for them to call us back whenever the part gets to them to reschedule. Then we will have to juggle our schedules once again to go out of our way to get our vehicle to them for the repair. I understand they they cannot have every part in stock. But, when it is a recall issue and we tell them exactly that we are bringing it in for and they still do not order the part, it is very frustrating. Customer service goes a long way. And in this case, their customer service is severely lacking.

I had an appointment with a car salesman and everything was fine. Until he went to get my information and he couldn't bring up my history. First he said I can a car loan out through a bank that I never dealt with then said there is nothing in the system for the car I have now. I called the bank that I was dealing with now and took me 5 minutes to get a pay off. Then I noticed he was with other customers and I felt like he really wasn't trying to sell me a vehicle. I waited for an hour and a half sitting there not even looking at any vehicles. So I decided to leave and he didn't notice I left until I got home about a half hour after I left.

We decided to make the trek from NJ to Hoffman Ford because they had the 2013 Fusion we wanted. We will now always be going back to Hoffman Ford because of the great experience, fair deal, and their willingness to help us anyway they could. Mary and Jim were instrumental with their open and timely communications. They even made the kids feel at home for the brief 45 minute buying process. If coming from afar, incorporate a trip to Hershey.

After doing some extensive research and trying to compare prices and quality, I found that at least online, Hoffman Ford was the place to check out. As a woman I went into the car buying process with my guard up but after talking to one of the nicest and most helpful salesman out there I felt a lot more at ease. The employees at Hoffman Ford were extremely patient and diligent in finding me exactly what I wanted for the price that I needed. Jim Bibb was excellent as far as knowledge and personality goes and I would definitely come to see him again. The owner, Ryan Hoffman, was also very personable and was also helpful and understanding when it came to my wants and needs. Overall I was VERY IMPRESSED with the quality of service that I received at Hoffman Ford and I can say with great confidence that I will be returning there for my next car purchase.

I don't know about the new car lot and sales people, but I can tell you that the used side of this dealership is horrible. All the old stereotypes of car salesman came true when I tried to purchase a vehicle there. No professionalism no help no going extra mile for the customers . I would like to thank them for this experience because it made me look futher for a car. A car I absolutely love. People do your research very carefully if you decide to go to the dealership that way you aren't misinformed. Best advice however is stay away - at least the pre owned side.

They say they want you business, but that is not really the case. They ask you what you want, and then continuously show you other vehicles which you are not interested in . They try to convince you that this is the better vehicle for you. Then they make you feel bad if you can't spend top dollar. The biggest atrocity is that their website offered double on my trade in then they did. I later went to not one but four other dealers that offered me double for my trade as well. They are not clear nor are they honest. I went and purchased a vehicle at another dealership, where I received not only a better deal but also better care. If your looking to purchase a vehicle look somewhere else.

The salesman and other employees there were helpful, friendly and professional. When I test drove the vehicle it was very clean and when I picked it up it looked even cleaner. The paperwork didn't take too long and they made it very easy to get my vehicle and do a trade in.

Very happy with the service at Hoffman Ford. George was very helpful with getting my car in for service on short notice. I highly recommend recommend Hoffman Ford, they have great people working there that make you feel important.

I really like bringing my vehicle into Hoffman Ford. Scott in the Service Department works really hard at making sure his customers are happy and satisfied with their visit. I would recommend Scott and the Hoffman Ford Service Department to everyone. I have already told 2 friends who have started taking their vehicles to Hoffman. Keep up the good work Hoffman!

This is the 2nd new ford I've purchased from Hoffman Ford. I have always been satisified with the product and the service. The sales team went the extra mile to located the vehicle I was interested in purchasing. They searched the web to find the options I wanted on my new Explorer purchase. After the purchase I attended the SNYC seminar at the dealership. The techs were very knowledgable and even took the time to show me, on my vehicle how the navagaition, climate, phone, and entertainment features functioned. I would recommend this dealership without a second thought.

It was time to replace my wife's Highlander. I'm quite analytical, so I gathered data regarding all manufacturers' small crossover suvs. I then visited each showroom and test drove each model and made notes. Three suvs stood out; the Honda CRX, the Hyundai Sante Fe, and the Ford Escape. These three were all new models, except the honda which came out as a 2012 model. I took my wife to the three dealers and had here give each a test drive. She eliminated the Sante Fe because of a rough ride. The Honda, although a newly designed model, was slightly less expensive, but the feayure list was somewhat limited. She chose the Escape which is feature laden and has a comfortable drive. The dealer allowed us to drive the demo for over 4 hours. I reset the "cumulative MPG" feature and drove 2 hours on highways and two hours in city traffic. The Escape is rated at 22 MPG City and 31 MPG highway with a projected 25 MPG average. Our excursion produced a 25.8 MPH! It has 3 years of Serius playing on an upgraded Sony sound system. It has "blind spot warning" and auto parallel park. I can make a phone call or take one without taking my hands off the wheel using voice commands. It has 8 airbags including driver knee bag. I subscribe to consumerreports.org, proceeded to build the vehicle we were to order and the site produced a price which would be fair to the dealer and me. I presented the number to the dealer and they accepted. In addition, there was a $750 dollar rebate, so I actually paid less than I had planned to.I drive a 2010 Lincoln MKS and have used Hoffman's service department and am thoroughly pleased with that side of the business. Brandon Parker, my salesman was very very patient throughout the three months it took me to purchase the Escape. Hoffman offers a evening class where technicians explain the features of their vehicles. This really appealed to my wife who is somewhat technically challenged. Overall, Hoffman earned my business and I look forward to a continued relationship.

Avoid this dealer! My experience is with preowned sales only, so I can only speak for that. Prices are %30 above bluebook and if your lucky you can talk them down to %20 above - but beware of what they tell you, because the price may suddenly change at the end. The only thing worse than the prices is the customer services. The way they treated my family was dispicable. There are plenty of places to buy a car in the Harrisburg area; no need to ever go here.

Pices are very high. If you spend hours negotiating you might be able to get the price to just above bluebook values. Then they will act like you are getting a great deal. The customer service is terrible. They will act nice and friendly, but, trust me, they are not your friends. These people give used cars salesmen a bad name (and that is starting from low expecations). No need ever to stop into this dealer.

Told Ed the used car salesman we needed a reliable car for my daughter! Interested in a 04 Mustang we seen on web, which we were told passed 100 some point inspection or it wouldn't be on the lot, no worries. We showed up to look at it and the web picture had it looking flawless, but upon walking up to it the bumper which was flawless in the pic was actually peeling paint off. We were told it was Garage kept and tender loving care and about how all the extras were put on it at a business right down the street! Ed said it was the most reliable of all the mustangs on lot. Saying that I would say I would hate to be the people who bought the other 4 or 5 that were there. But now 3 months later it is sitting at a Ford Dealer in York needing a whole rear-end and they are not sure what else till they can drive it! Mechanic said the car was beat to death, it only had 43,000 miles on it, the dealership says they don't know how it could pass Ford inspection, should have gone to auction. Now that we are looking at the paperwork, we see that we actually signed paperwork they sold it as is! But sold us the Ford Prestige Warranty! Thank GOD we bought it! But it may not cover the ABS issue and issues getting it into 1st and reverse. She has beening driving a stick for 8 years and she didn't beat the car! I would beware of buying anything but new from them. Now I know why the used lot is across the street, as when something like this goes down customers across the street can't hear it.

I purchased my 2011 Focus from this dealership and have since returned for oil changes, and every time I step inside, I leave happy. The associates are helpful, honest and eager to get their customers the best deals. In the service section, there is a waiting area with a TV, a computer and free wi-fi, toys for children, magazines and beverages. I've never been disappointed by this dealership nor its staff.

I have dealt with Hoffman Ford for many years. There service department is top notch and their staff is always willing to help solve any problem. I recently bought a new 2011 Ford Explorer there recently and the sales department was just as great as the service department. Would recommend this place to anyone!

I bought my Ford Fusion last year & last week the car completely stopped in the middle of a busy highway. I called the Ford dealership & they immediately got me in touch with someone to come & tow my car. They gave me a loaner car and had my car done within 3 days at no cost to me. Their customer service is excellent & the service people fantastic. I would recommend Ford to everyone. American made is the way to go. Thank you for your great service.

I was looking for F150 pickup truck to buy.I stop at Hoffman and the saleman was very helpful and I found a truck that I like, price was right so I bought it.They took care of everything,get the loan call my insurance and everything else that needed to be done with buying the truck.they very helpful,polite without any pressure.

I'm the type to realize "Oh my new Truck needs service." Today I remembered I was going out of town for the weekend and needed to get my oil changed and my 30K checkup. At 2:00Pm I roll in to the dealership & ask the service dept. about getting in and gettting this done today. Personally I didn't think it would happen. The Service Advisor told me "No Problem". Within an hour I was in and the process started. Could not ask for a better bunch of personnel to work with.

My daughter purchased a used Hyundai from Hoffman. Car had a slight noise in front. Was told by Brad it was just a bearing, to have car checked out and get back with him. My daughter did so. Returned car after 2 days because the bearing turned out to be a broken axl. Want to charge her $700 more for repair. You are probably saying she should have had it checked before buying it, and in most cases you are correct. However, Brad is my Daughters Uncle... Is this the kind of so called "salesman" / Con Man you wantn to deal with? I think Not.

Went to this dealer to drive a 2011 explorer-Did not have what I wanted on the lot-But they could get it for me...Wanted a committment sight unseen-YEA...OK....No #'s on paper...all "backroom" dealings-Had no idea where the #'s were coming from-Ended up wanting to take the White explorer...was already sold (Thank God!!)-I was scolded like a child, b/c "I backed out of the deal"... Which I did not-Told them where they could get another vehicle which was comparable-Was told they would get back to me....that was 4 weeks ago-STILL WAITING-My husband and I have great credit-Bought a BRAND NEW SUV this w/e...YOU LOSE HOFFMAN-

I was treated very fairly at Hoffman Ford. They gave me a great price on a vehicle I liked. They also have done some service work and body work on my car as well. Both my service experience and my experience with their body shop was great! They are very customer focused and friendly. They have wireless internet access too, so I could work while waiting for my vehicle. Facility is clean as well. I would recommend this dealership to anyone! Thanks Hoffman Ford!!

i bought a year old vehicle 03 explorer i made the deal and paid cash for the vehicle it was like pulling teeth to get the things that were supposed to be included in the deal . every thing was finally taken care of after making a bunch of extra visits and calling many times bugging them. so beware not the type of dealership i want to deal with again . a take your money and run type of thing .
