I have purchase a toyota sienna from hertz car sales in tampa. Jim west has been my sales associate, he has been the guy whom I could rely on and sit relaxed as he takes care of everything. The "no pressure to buy" concept can not be more appropriate here, I had shown interest in more than 3 cards over a period of 2 months, test driven one of them for more than a week on the rent 2 buy program and test driven one of them for a day again on the rent 2 buy program before choosing the best fit for me and family. I just cannot think of any other place where I could get such great customer friendliness and flexibility. Hats off to Jim and entire team of hertz car sales, I would visit them again and again given a chance.

Our experience at Hertz Car sales was better than expected!Our sales representative, JIM WEST was great!He listened to our questions and what we were looking for in the way of a used car.Especially liked the fact that he and Hertz did not make us feel pressured, even on the test drive! No one in the other seat telling you what a great car or deal you'll be getting!Actually liked the "no haggling" part of getting my car!The whole process was quick and efficient.Will be needing another car in a few years. Bought a car from Hertz Tampa, but live out of state. It's a nightmare to do this. We have random charges on our credit card from Hertz, never received the license plates, and have not received our title. Worst customer service ever. We've been calling ever day for a week trying to get our problems fixed. It's not worth the savings.

I recently bought a car from Hertz. Mr. Jim West was the most knowledgeable and kind salesman I have ever worked with. He helped me find a one year old car, with low mileage and was in my lower price range. He was extremely polite and helpful. Gave me ample time to look at the car on my own. He was not pushy one bit. Mr. West answered all of my questions without any trouble. He helped me get a lower APR than any other place I had previously been to before deciding to purchase from Hertz. I highly recommend his expertise. He made me feel very comfortable during my whole experience. I would most definitely go to him again for my next car purchase and suggest him to anyone looking for a car.

I recently helped my sister buy a car from Hertz and Jim was our salesman. He was so nice and easygoing but very knowledgeable and not pushy at all. He made us feel at ease with the financing process and answered every little question we had. He took the time to get to know us and what she needed in a car and what she could reasonably afford. The cosigner was our 90 year old grandmother who lives 3 hours away and has no computer or smart phone. He was very accommodating and worked with us to get the papers signed even though our cosigner was out of town and not able to drive to Tampa to sign them. Additionally, Al in the financing department was a tremendous help with securing the car and also helping with the out of town cosigner. At the end of the process we felt extremely well taken care of and excited to get the new car. Thanks again Jim for all your help! Highly recommended!

This whole car buying experience could be a world wind of emotions. I had been holding out on buying another car for years until my friend Fran decided to give me that final nudge. She brought me into Hertz Car Sales dealership where she bought her car to "look around" and I couldn't be happier! Jim went above and beyond to make sure I purchased the car I was comfortable with. He answered all my questions, gave me suggestions and his advice, but was in no way pushy or overbearing. He was SUPER patient with me while I searched the entire lot. After I found the "elusive one", the rest of the process was quick, professional, and absolutely painless! They all worked as a team reaching for The same goal. I had the best possible experience buying a used car here at the Tampa Hertz location. Jim West was knowledgeable, helpful, and went above and beyond to help me get my first car loan. He wasn't pushy, and I never felt pressured. I ended up buying an awesome car with 30,000 left on the factory warranty. Couldn't say enough good things!

I've have purchased several used cars over the past 25 years and this was by far the best dealership to do business with. We were met by Jim West who gave an overview of the business, then allowed us to look at their inventory by ourselves without any pressure. We test drove a few cars and Jim did not to pressure us into buying a vehicle that day. A week later we saw the exact car we were looking for and asked for Jim again. The car was being detailed but we were able to test drive it immediately. We were sold on it as it was a great buy, a 2014 Honda Accord at a good price. We went with Jim into the office and I was amazed at how quickly we completed the purchase process. The car has been awesome and we have had no problems. When I decided to make the plunge and go shopping for a newer car I can say that I definitely was not looking forward to it. However, that quickly changed when I arrived at Hertz Tampa. My anxiety of being a young female who may be taken advantage of with price by a dealership quickly dissolved when I realized no haggle pricing really meant no haggle pricing. The customer service given to me by Jim was some of the best service that I have received any place in Tampa. He was honest and encouraging throughout the entire process and went out of his way to even help me quote new car insurance when it seemed that my pricing from my own company was coming in on the high side. After making my choice of an awesome vehicle he walked me through the factory warranties that transferred over, as well as the best bumper to bumper policy that fit into my price range for payments. I definitely got way more than I thought I would going into this deal and am extremely happy with my purchase knowing that I have great protection for my vehicle. Overall, I would highly recommend this and have already personally to several of my friends who will be entering the market for a newer vehicle in the near future. The vehicles are in great shape and the service is awesome. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Purchasing a used vehicle can be nerve racking; but, I found out it doesn't have to be!!! I met Jim West and what an experience it was! Jim is not your typical used car salesman he is a thousand times better!!! Jim was very informative and knowledgeable and made the whole purchasing experience a breeze!! Once we found a vehicle we liked it was time to talk final numbers with Jerry! I was hesitant at this part but it actually was pain free!! Jim and Jerry made me feel at ease. Searched online for a 2011-2013 Nissan Rogue, Hertz car sales appeared to have the lowest price. Too low to be true? Live only a few miles away, went there for a test drive. Long story short, within 2.5 hrs, I drove out of there with a 2013 Rogue with 56k miles for at least $2k less than other dealers were advertising. Declined at the "Extended Warranty" stuff...very soft pitch by great sales guy Rafael...until they made me an offer I couldn't refuse. Monthly payment of just $17 extra for a 3yr/36k bumper to bumper Nissan Cert warranty. Well within my budgeted monthly payment. Best car buying experience that I've had..and I've had a few. Why didn't I think of this before? Highly recommended.

Last week I had never heard of Hertz Car Sales, Tampa FL. I had been searching on my computer for my dream car for about 3 months and there it was! But Tampa is 150 miles away from my home. I decided to call the number anyway. A very nice young, Rafael Pena answered all of my questions so I made an appointment to go there and check it out. Since I am an elderly woman, this was a long way for me to travel plus I have a small dog that had to go along. Needless to say, I thought it was going to be a stressful day for me. Much to my surprise, I had a wonderful experience! Rafael did an excellent and efficient job with handling all of the details, plus he and other personnel took over helping me with the dog. My dog was treated with food, water and taken out for walks! I will certainly rate this business as the best and should be put on top of the list as an excellent place to go for a car.

On November, I originally went to Hertz with a plan to just view cars. I already had an idea of what they had so I went in already practically knowing what I wanted. I was taken of by Rafael, who I am very thankful for. He made the car buying even easier than I thought. I later went to get my tire fixed because it was having issues and he took care of the issue at 100%. I was terrified going car shopping, Jim West was amazing and went over and beyond! He was very nice, very helpful, had me understand everything I was doing before we got into the whole process. Made this feel so much easier than I had ever thought car shopping would be. Even had an idea of what to get for myself as a first timer and Mr West and staff were able to get me a 2013 Mazda 2 Hatchback!!!! Beyond excited! The entire staff was incredible, polite, very inviting for questions but I really could not of had the confidence I left with if it had not been for Jim West. We were looking for a car for our son since his other car died and he needed a car immediately. After reading the reviews we contacted Jim and mad an appointment with him. Jim came in on his day off so he could help us. That was very nice of him to do that. He was able to sell us the car we wanted and also saved our son from paying an extra $200/mth in car insurance by giving him the name of a different company to call and also telling him which incentives he should ask for. That was going far and above to assit us. Jim is the best. I would recommend him to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle. AWESOME!!

I worked with Rafael from the beginning until the end. He was great at communicating via email, texting, and phone. Going to Hertz Car Sales made car buying a less stressful experience. I had gone to regular dealers and experienced the typical "shark" like conniving attitude that leaves you feeling unsettled. Rafael was helpful in answering my questions, honest, and genuine. He is great at making you feel comfortable with your car buying decision. Because the price is no-haggle, it leaves out the back and forth of trying to get a better deal that other car dealers. Before making my decision, I called a very close family friend who is also an experienced mechanic and he agreed that the car, mileage, etc for the price was a very good deal. The inside of the car came in great condition. The only complaint I had about the overall experience was that when I was inspecting the car prior to buying, I noticed the trunk does not shut properly if at all. You have to keep trying until you get lucky. I mentioned this, and it was agreed upon that it would be fixed. I made sure this was in writing in the agreement. When I returned to get this fixed, they tried telling me that they agreed to "look at it" but that I would probably have to go to the locksmith up the street at my own expense. I argued this, they looked at it, and told me they fixed it. I asked what they did, and I was told they didn't change any parts (the latch is the issue). Rafael told me he saw their on site mechanic take a tool to it. I came home, and though it does close correctly more often, it is not fixed. At this point, I've decided to drop it because their mechanic is only their on weekdays from 9-5 and I work a 9-5 Mon-Fri job. Because of this part of my experience, I recommend being VERY specific with things that need to be fixed and getting things in very detailed writing. I recommend you do a very detailed inspection on the both the large features, and the small (accessories, etc.)

If you want to save thousands on buying a used car, Hertz is the best deal around from Orlando to Tampa Bay. I'm not just saying that; it's really true. I just bought a car from Jim West who works in sales at the Hertz Car Sales lot at their Florida Avenue location. He's an honest, straight dealing man who helps you find the car you want and doesn't put any of the typical sales pressure on you. You know what I'm talking about. If you've ever car shopped, then I bet you've experienced this in the past. I took my time checking Hertz's prices against other places for the same automobile. Hertz prices are below Kelly Blue Book pricing. When you buy from Hertz, not only are you getting a great price, they stand behind their cars by giving one year warranties. Most other used car places either give you no implied warranty or just a short 30 day warranty. Jim must have an easy job because I believe Hertz's cars almost sell themselves. Check it out for yourself. See Jim West when you get to their Tampa sales lot. You'll find Jim to be one of the most friendly, informed and helpful guys that ever sold you a car. This was a pleasant experience all the way around. In my family, we're planning on buying one more vehicle in the coming year. The next purchase will be an SUV. You can bet I'll be back to see Jim and review Hertz's SUV inventory. There's a very high chance he'll be making a repeat sale from me.

I'm a first time car buyer, and I'm certain my next car shopping will be at Hertz. They have a great selection of practically new vehicles with great mileage, thousands below market value. Jim took great care of my family and I, he patiently showed us and took us on test drives of the cars within budget and guided us through the entire process (even insurance) without being pushy in the least possible way. He made us feel right at home and made the whole experience so simple and worry-free, it felt more like looking at cars with a family friend than walking around a dealership with a sales person. He was VERY informative and sincere about every car he showed. I would be more than glad to go back for my next car purchase and highly recommend this location (and Jim) to anyone.

I was recommended to Hertz car sales by my son. Although, my son didn't purchase a car there, he met Jim West in sales. Jim made a positive impact on my 23 year old son. I was in the market for an affordable , reliable car. I went to Hertz and met Jim. This was the easiest, non pressured transaction. My mother was undecided on what type of car she wanted and Jim was very patient and took the time to listen and understand what she was looking for. We went to the Hertz Car Sales after going to several dealerships in the area looking for a quality used car at a decent price. Every dealership prior to Hertz had junk on the lot at ridiculous prices. Once we got to Hertz Car Sales in Tampa we quickly found a very nice car at a great price. There was no game playing or pressure sales tactics at all. We purchased a car in under two hours and left the lot extremely happy. Highly recommend these guys when you are in the market for a used car.

Jim West at Tampa Hertz really is the best! I've been to countless dealers, researched endlessly for the best car and deal for me, and I admit I have been picky and indecisive...but Jim was kind, honest, and patient. He's the kind of guy you WANT to buy from. And not because he's a schmoozer and pushy and just looking for a sale. He's not that guy. He's just a real guy who genuinely wants to make you happy and comfortable with YOUR choice. My dad AND my brother both had the pleasure to meet him and said next time they buy they will go see Jim. Which if you knew them, says volumes as they know their car stuff-and not many people impress them. Ha... To sum up, overall, hands down, honest to God: if youre looking for a good car, a great team, and a good deal- seriously thousands of dollars cheaper than a dealer for ALL of the ones I was looking at- go to Hertz! Clearwater guys were good, but Jim and the Tampa team went above and beyond, and their car choices were better too. Go check them out! Im so glad i did! I love my car- AND my experience. Our experience at Hertz Car sales on Florida ave. in Tampa was a great one. Jim West was kknowledgable, professional, and very accomodating, and best of all NOT pushy! My entire experience at this dealership was pleasant. Jim was courtious relateable and just an all around good guy. He dealt with my barage of questioning, multiple test drives, and indecisive nature very professionally, patiently and honestly. Ask for Jim West! - This is the second car we have bought from Jim in 2 months. Fantastic experience all around. You never feel like you are dealing with a typical car salesperson. Jim is professional and he goes above and beyond to make you happy. The prices on the cars are very very good as well. No haggle so that makes things much less stressful as well. This really is a top dealership! Every dealer is warm and friendly -- not pushy at all and very understanding and knowledgeable about their cars. Everything is priced fairly and you're allowed plenty of time to make a decision, shop around, or ask for advice. Jim West is in particular amazing -- extremely friendly, open, and honest about the cars on the lot; and a good conversationalist as well. If you are in the market for a car, RUN as fast as you can to Jim & Jeries at Hertz of Tampa. After dealing with several pushy, rude sales managers, I finally had the most pleasant car buying experience ever. Jim & Jeries are the most professional, yet friendly sales team ever. I have never been treated with so much courtesy and respect as with Jim & Jeries. They listen to your needs, put you in a vehicle in your price range that you like, and don't try to talk you into something that you don't want or need. I needed to purchase a second car, but had a budget to consider --- but also had a certain make & model that I wanted. I had been to several car dealers who would either try to talk me into a car that I didn't want, or one that was way above my budget, or try to sell one in my budget but add "hidden fees" hoping I wouldn't notice them on the paper, etc......I was about to give up, but a friend at work suggested I try Hertz. We were looking for a Kia for our teenage daughter. We live in Atlanta, and had gone to Hertz and test drove some, but the inventory was low. My husband was in Florida, and went to Hertz in Tampa, and looked at some Kia Souls there, Jim West was the sale person, and he ended up selling my husband a Kia Soul, so then we had to get the car back to Atlanta, so we rented a car from Charles at the Hertz in Atlanta, and drove it to Tampa, and purchased the Kia from Jim West. I can't say enough about this company, and the employees, I don't enjoy buying cars, I find it to be overwhelming. Not this time, Jim was so helpful, and professional, and the whole process from renting the car in Atlanta from Charles, to dealing with Jim in Tampa, made this such a easy process. Hertz was so kind, and helpful to us and our needs, and helping us get the car. I know I will be buying my next car from them again. I did months of research on different cats and car lots before making my final decision. I chose Hertz because of the numerous positive reviews and the Rent2Buy program which allowed an extended test drive and a chance for my personal mechanic to check out the car. James (Jim) West contacted me prior to my scheduled pick up date to let me know the car had arrived and would be detailed before my arrival. Throughout the process he was extremely courteous and professional and answered all of my questions completely. I decided to purchase the car after having it for a few days and the entire staff was incredibly helpful during the process. All additional fees e.g. dealer fees were clearly advertised and no high pressure techniques were employed. Because of a bit of a wait, due to me not making an appointment when I came back to purchase the vehicle, we were even offered food from their personal potluck!

I just recently moved to Tampa for work, and I had a great and easy time shopping for a vehicle at Hertz Car Sales. Jim West helped me find the exact car I was looking for in a very quick amount of time. He was super friendly and helpful, providing lots of information and recommendations about the vehicle (in this case a Mazda 3). Within the day I had my car purchased, and it was ready to be picked up a day later after being further cleaned and buffed by the Hertz staff free of charge! I'd def recommend that anyone looking to buy a used car give Hertz a look before making a decision. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience at Hertz. After a very traumatic accident where my car was totaled, I had only the weekend to find a replacement for my Versa. I called Hertz and got in touch with Jim regarding a 2014 Versa that they had advertised online and the rest was a piece of cake. Jim was absolutely helpful, friendly and patient. I was looking at buying a Chevy Captiva SUV and went back to see Jim because he gave us a great deal on our other car. The buying experience was great and Jim didn't pressure us in any direction at all like a typical car salesman would. I told him what I wanted took it for a test drive and had the paperwork done very quickly. Jim was very personable and easy to talk before and after the buying process. There were a few minor things that needed to be repaired which I expect when buying a used car. Jim went above and beyond to make sure everything was fixed properly at their cost. In my opinion Hertz has the absolute best bang for your buck if you're looking for a newer used car and Jim has been the best salesman I've worked with.

Jim West helped me to purchase my new car. I had been looking on & off for over a year. My experience with other dealers was everything from stalker calling & texting me, to them trying to sell me a car that I either did not like or could afford. Jim made me feel very comfortable & he was very informative and understanding. Jim went above and beyond to make sure that I got the car of my choice. I brought my 2013 Mazda 3 from Hertz a couple of weeks ago. My sales person Rafael Pena went above and beyond with making my car buying experience the best that I have ever had. I knew the car that I wanted and he helped me get approved with no money down. I had a rental car and he called Enterprise to see if I could return my rental to the one down the street so that I could drive my new car home that day. He also went out of his way to have my trade in that was non functioning towed from my house to the dealership. I had a really good car buying experience and was able to shop without feeling pressured. I would recommend Hertz for anyone looking for a car and being able to shop for one without the hassle. First, I would like to thank those individual who made my car buying experience pleasurable and uneventful; Mark Meadows (Sales Associate), Jerry Nsheiwat (General Manager) and Bryan Bell (Business Manager) these gentlemen are true professionals. I started with the Rent-2-Buy program and was not satisfied with the vehicle and within a day was back at the lot asking what options I had for getting an automobile with the same pricing as the Rent-2-Buy. Well, that program is Hertz Certified Car program which in my opinion beats the Rent-2-Buy program hands down. Under the certified car program, the vehicle is thoroughly inspected etc prior to being put on the lot for sale versus the Rent-2-Buy in which the vehicle was recently rented then cleaned and serviced as required--thereby you lack the ASE certified inspecting and the pecks that also goes with purchasing a certified vehicle. Mark made sure I knew all my options and even suggest a vehicle that I may be interested in and I was happy with the choice--I purchased the vehicle that day; it was a deal. Bryan enthusiastically explained the financial paperwork needed to buy the vehicle and ensured all my questions were answered; you can tell that he really takes pride in his work, as does all the gentlemen I have mentioned. Jerry overall ensured that I was being taken care of and showed me nothing but hospitality--he left no stone unturned. If you need a great deal, I would suggest that you not walk, but run as fast as you can and see the guys down at Hertz Car Sales of Tampa on Florida avenue--you won't be disappointed.

Looking for a car can be such a stressful process, but thanks to Rafeal and the team at Hertz Car Sales for helping me tremendously and alleviating any stress I may have had. Rafeal's approachable personality combined with his knowledge on cars and "buying a car process" made my experience such a swift and pleasant one. Rafeal was unlike most salesmen in the sense that he was not pushy and actually very patient with me during my selection process. I visited the office FIVE times in two weeks and he always found the time to fit me in his schedule (even if it meant him staying longer in the office to wait for me to get off work) to show me multiple cars and even the same car MULTIPLE times. The prices at Hertz Car Sales are also very reasonable and are even lower than the Kelley Blue Book recommended selling prices with their no haggle prices, which is one of the reasons I chose them. I heard that purchasing a car from a rental place was more beneficial and less hassle than going to a big dealership. After purchasing my new Jeep at Hertz, I could not agree more.First off, Jim West was very helpful before I even stepped foot on site. That alone was a great feeling but then when I actually went to the lot he was even more helpful.He was very knowledgeable and it made me very comfortable.I expected to be there for atleast half of the day but the whole process from start to finish only took like 3hrs and Jim kept apologizing for "the wait" which I felt was very considerate of him.Overall, it was a great experience and I greatly appreciate the great service!

Being a car salesman myself I can say that this experience was the best I had in the process of buying a vehycle. Jim and Jerry were exceptionally professional and honest and upfront to say the least, they treated me as an old friend like family I could say. There was not a single time where I was left out of any piece of information which is the norm in other places where they don't necessarily lie but just hide a lot of details, here it was different everything was laid out for me to see and even though I had an approval from the bank they manage to get me a better interest rate just to lower my payment a little more, which I find amazing how they went the extra mile just to help me out. I made arrangements and drove 6 hours to Tampa and am very glad I did. He and his team were wonderful to work with. Car shopping is very difficult. The entire team at Hertz Car Sales Tampa are great. I saw they consistently had some of the best deals but not always available. So I gave Jim West an outstanding salesman my parameters for a vehicle and he called me when he had exactly what I wanted. There were some complications on my end and they went out of their way to solve them all. I drove 6 hours to get car and was very glad I did. I would highly recommend them.

My fiance and I were car searching for weeks, once my fiance came across hertz dealership online he decided to give a phone call about a few cars. Once he spoke to Rafael Pena, he felt at ease, so we decided to take a family road trip to tampa with our baby girl. We purchased a Hyundai Genesis from Hertz Car Sales this weekend. The salesman, Jim West was exceptional. He answered all of our questions, was not pushy, and made the buying process extremely easy. He was friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. Our expectations going in was to look at some cars and see what we needed to do to buy. We looked at several cars and then test drove the Genesis. Within 30 minutes after the test drive, all the paperwork was completed and the loan approved. Within an hour after that, we were out the door with a great car and on our way home. Just a quick note to give you my thoughts of Hertz Car Sales along with James West, our sales representative. I just happened to pass by this Hertz dealer one day while driving in that part of Tampa. After stopping in and seeing some very nice used cars, I was positive I needed to stop back with my family. The second day we showed up we were fortunate enough to meet a salesman named James West. James was extremely easy to work with and pleasant just to be around. He let me and my family test drive a number of cars and that made this sale go very quickly. I have already passed his name along to two friends who are searching for a used car. This will definitely be our first stop during future car purchases and we can only hope that Mr. West will still part of the Hertz family. James definitely got this one done! After looking around for a car for a while, I called the hertz dealership in Tampa and had the pleasure to talk with Jim West. Jim was very accommodating over the phone and was willing to answer all of my questions in a professional friendly manner. After the phone call with Jim I decided to make the trip to view the vehicles. From the moment I walked though the door Jim was friendly and really wanted to help me with my financial situation to get me into a car. Jim was NOTHING like a typical dealership salesperson; I didnt feel pressured to buy or wasnt given any false information. Being a young person buying a car on your own can be a little intimidating, but Jim took his time and explained all my questions in full detail. After viewing the cars, I decided to purchase a vehicle. The hertz team did a great job in making the car look immaculate. I had a minor maintenance issue after my first couple of days; I called Jim and the same day it was taken care of, No Cost!!. My overall experience with Jim and the whole Hertz team I would have to say was an easy smooth process. I was helped by JIM WEST, he was amazing. He treated me like a person and was so genuine with every aspect. I was scared because I knew my credit was not so great but he was very kind. Very honest. I brought my very hyper & active 3 year old with me & he gave him snacks & paper to doodle with. Jerry was also awesome. They were extremely warm, not once did I feel it was all about the sale. Jim West is the man! having little experience for its car shopping I actually had to come back several times before I made a decision on the vehicle that I purchased. I just purchased my first car ever for myself and Rafael at the hertz Car Sales at Tampa did a great job! He helped me out from the time I made a contact to the very last moment I purchase the car and ride on it to go back home. He was very patient throughout the whole process and he gave me a lot of good pieces of advice. What I like the most about his customer service is that he always asked me for my opinion after offering me some options to make sure that I will make the best decisions. He let me test drive multiple cars and let me decide which car would be the best with the detailed information about gas mileage, condition of the engine, the body of the car, and so on. He kept me entertained during the process of paper work and made sure I felt comfortable by offering me some water bottles. The facility was very clean and sanitary level was quite high too. This was our (my husband and I) first time buying a car and Jim West did a great job helping us pick out the one that suits us the best. He was patient as we debated between two cars, and he kept us entertained while we waited for all of the paper work to get processed. What I loved the most was that while we were out test driving, he allowed my husband and I to switch so that I could drive the car because he knew I had a concern about me driving a car that size. He showed great care for us and didn't just try to shove any car in our face. After experiencing terrible customer service from another dealership earlier that day, it was great to go somewhere to purchase a car without feeling like we were getting tricked into buying a piece of junk. Rafael is great! I called asking about a specific car and he made sure that car was still physically in stock, not just available according to the computer. Once I arrived and decided to get the car, he asked me what I felt comfortable paying each month. He got me the monthly payment amount I wanted and it wasn't easy since I had no credit. But he and his manager were able to convince one bank to finance me and allow me to walk out of there with a great car. Not only that, I had a trade-in that based on their normal standards they would have given me only $200 for the car, but again one of Rafael's managers was willing to give me the MAX amount they could for my trade-in. Always good to get more towards a down payment. All in all a great experience, and I'm glad I went to them. I would definitely recommend Rafael to anyone I know, because he'll listen to you and get you what you want. Thanks again Rafael!! I love my car.

Absolutely the best place to buy a car !! Living in Ft Myers and having years of how the auto business works under my belt I was dreading to buy a new car however I found what I wanted on the Hertz website . My first phone call in speaking with Jim West , I told him the car I wanted along with my budget . A few more phone calls with Jim and his manager Jerries, I knew that was the place to go even with the location being 2 plus hours away . Just from his honesty and dedication to me . The next day Jim called me back letting me know he was able to work it all together , he even offered to deliver the car to me !! , When I arrived I got a super welcome and all the paperwork was ready for me to sign . This is the second vehicle we purchased from Hertz and Jim West. We were very pleased with his information and answers to our questions when buying both. Jim is very friendly and knowledgeable on the procedures to buy and with the vehicle history and reputations. There was no pressure sales or attempts to get us to buy a more expensive vehicle. We were able to test drive several cars, and given price quotes and time to go home and consider the vehicles, costs, and other factors. We were very happy with the price and with the personnel handling the closing and the preparation of the vehicle.

Was shopping for a car as a surprise gift for our grandaughter. Looked extensively on the web and finally came across Hertz. By far the best prices for the car I wanted. When I got to the dealer met rafael Pena who could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Looked all over the Hertz system to find just the perfect car. Trying to give a car as a surprise gift is not the easiest thanks to State of Florida registration fees etc. but Rafael and the manager, Jerry, made it as painless as possible. Bought a used Jetta for my daughter. Jim West was very helpful and knowledgeable. No pressure just the facts. The dealer cleaned the car up nicely and even helped me get my windows tinted by a third-party while they were cleaning up some door dings. The car came out great and was ready on time. I looked all over Tampa trying to find a good deal on a used Jetta for my daughter. After spending tons of time online and visiting a few dealers I finally found Hertz Car sales and their prices were very reasonable and no haggle. By the luck of the draw I was paired with Jim West one of their sales reps. He is very honest, forthcoming and wants to do what is right. He walked me through Hertz Car's sales process, the warranty, the repair process, etc. He even assisted me to get the windows tinted through a third-party vendor while the car was being touched up by Hertz. By the time I went to pick up the car it was ready to go in great shape, windows tinted and with a half-tank of gas. I was very happy with the whole experience. I would definitely use Hertz again and expect to use them for my next few car purchases. It was that good and I have purchased quite a few cars.

Finally! After wasting my time running up and down Florida Avenue and haggling with dealers I accidentally pulled into the Hertz Car Sales and had the good fortune to meet Jim West. I hate buying a car, I really do, but this was one of the better experiences I've had. There was no haggling over the price. There was no good guy-bad guy ploy to make you think you got a bargain. Had been looking for a mustang for some time, found Hertz Car Sales online, and found a mustang at the Tampa dealership. Placed a call to the dealership on a Sunday and talked to Jim, discussed the car, and informed him i wanted the car but was unable to come to dealership until Saturday, i live in south Georgia. they held the car for me. During that week i was contacted by Jim and the dealership staff several times regarding paperwork, and insurance. i arrived that Saturday, the car was very clean and as discussed. in total i was at the dealership just over one hour, looking over the car, test driving, and completing the title work. I returned to Georgia driving a mustang. I am 55 years old, and have bought many cars both new and used, this was by far the BEST dealership and salesman i have ever worked with. Also the prices are truly unbelievable.

Jim West was great to me while I was there. He was very friendly and put me at east while I was there. I went there with a loan approval letter from one lender, but they were able to beat that and give me a better deal on financing. He even let me use his computer to finish my insurance process. They also registered my car so I did not have to go to the DMV for a tag. I would highly recommend Jim and Hertz to anyone.

Learned of Hertz Car Sales while overseas and contacted James West by email. He helped with information about availability of cars in which I was interested and when I arrived in Tampa, he was very helpful with answering questions about the cars, and Florida vehicle registration matters. He linked me with my auto insurance company and once the insurance was in place he handled everything else - including registration, license tag, and servicing so I could take the car the same day. He even helped to return a rental car that I had been using since arriving from overseas.

We heard of this place while overseas and visited it on arrival in Tampa. Mr. James West was most accommodating in answering questions about Florida vehicle registration details. We were connected with our auto insurance company to set-up insurance. Then Hertz took care of everything else to include the license plate, title, registration without us having to go to the DMV. Mr. West even helped us to return a rental car we had been using by picking us up at the rental car return.

After just having a terrible expirence with Brandon Ford. i was some what hessitant to go to Hertz in the first place after having spoken to Mr. rafael he seemed to pushy over the phone but im glad i came in any way. Meeting Mr. Jim West was a breath of freash air.It was easly the best car buying expirence that i have ever had. I love that there is literally no haggling and the smallest fee list that i have seen. Mr. West was attentive, kind and listened to our needs. When we came in it was incredibly busy. Mr. West was dealing with two other buyers at the same time as us and i feel that he did well handling all of us. In the end we ended up in a great car for a great price and with great service.

What made me actually go through with buying a car was JIM, if you come here you have to ask for him, he is incredibly honest, nice, funny, looks like Conan O'brian and is not out to steal money, he actually does care about his customers and is more then excited to help out and making you feel like home. I left with a Mazda 3 and it haves some minor non treated scratches and lil finger dent, i pointed it out, Jim came out told another higher up and wala coming back next tuesday to get the detail done. It never felt like a chore for him more like "let's get this done the right honest way" . No doubt if anyone asks I'll be sending them here to Jim. The staff is in general is great no corporate feeling!

When I originally contacted Hertz about buying a Nissan, I spoke directly to Rafael. We told him we would be there and he was great about waiting for us to get there. He went through all the vehicles we were interested in and was wonderful about sending us an invoice about 4 with out the door cash prices. We told him we were interested in one at another dealership and he kindly brought it to the Tampa dealership. We did end up buying the one he brought over and absolutely love it. I found the Camaro I was looking for online and came in to the Hertz in Tampa to see it. I was very impressed to find my car waiting for me out front when I arrived. Jerry and Rafael were great to wait for me even as I arrived 10 min before closing. Rafael took ownership of my car buying experienced from the start. Rafael and Jerry provided me with an excellent first-time car buying experience. They were professional, helpful, and trustworthy. They handled everything for me from having my credit union send over digital documents so I did not have to make the drive back, adding my new vehicle to the insurance, and even driving me to the credit union to pick up a cashier's check. They helped me through every step of the process and answered my questions in an honest and straightforward manner. The fees associated with buying the vehicle were about half of what other dealerships were asking for and I walked away with a car I absolutely love at a great price.

Plain and simple....I found the car I wanted on this site and the price was better that all other dealers. I called and spoke to Rafael, everything he told me was accurate. When I got there he had the car ready. I told him I was interested so he made me feel at home while writing it up. They got me out the door in a couple of hours. They were honest and I was grateful when they caught an error that saved me some money. On top of they said a free Hertz car rental for one week came with my purchase (which I have already used). I can't say enough positive things about mu buying experience here and when I need another car I will go here first. I have purchased many cars in my life and this was the best experience of all. The staff member i worked with was Rod Booth , Rod was very helpful he started by assisting me by phone and when i arrived at the location was impressed by the cleanliness, organization, and cheerfulness of the team. Rod was very informative and knowledgeable about the vehicle i purchased. This was the 15th dealership that I'd visited and by far they proved to be the most trustworthy and the overall way the staff conducted themselves was friendly and professional. I also paid about 3200.00 less out the door for a 2012 Nissan Rogue compared to the price of a 2009 at other dealerships.

Told them what I wanted - AND THEY ACTUALLY LISTENED !! Didn't try to upsell me into something I didn't want or need. GM Jerry was friendly and knowledgeable on how to buy here and register in another state. Handled all the paperwork quickly and efficiently. Salesman Rod was friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely concerned with getting me EXACTLY what I was looking for. The showroom is bright and clean with a large inventory to choose from. They can also see what other Hertz Dealers have that might suit your needs and get it to their shop for you to evaluate. OVERALL, it was a enjoyable and painless process. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a quality vehicle at a reasonable price. I bought a beautiful car - within my budget - low miles - EXCELLENT PRICE !! What more could I ask?

I purchased my first vehicle (a 2013 Camry) from Rod and Jerry and was impressed with the prices and selection. The prices for the quality of the cars is exceptional and there is a large selection of vehicles. Rod and Jerry were upfront and honest about the prices and can pull up the car history for you too. I would definitely purchase another vehicle from Hertz Car Sales, should I ever need another vehicle. I would recommend anyone who is looking for a good deal on a car/SUV to stop by Hertz first and see the prices they are offering. The price you see online is the real price of the vehicle, plus tax and dealer fee (which is hundreds less than other dealers in the area.)
