I had an issue after an oil change appt on Saturday 10/30. While on my way home, my car started making a loud noise upon acceleration. Unfortunately for me, my car was ready well after 1600, so the service dept was closed when I left. When I had noticed an issue, I called the dealership. The person I spoke to was actually pretty rude and told me that I "should have turned around and returned" as soon as I noticed the issue (I actually called as soon as I noticed). As I mentioned before, the service dept had already closed, and I didn't realize there was an issue until halfway through my drive. They stated there was "no one" to help figure out what was wrong with my car (so what would my going back have accomplished?) The person on the phone said that they would be "more than happy" to look at my car on MONDAY. First off, I explained that I worked in the city and had no way to bring in my car, nor should I have to lose a day of work for something that happened to my car in their possession. I asked for a loaner, was told that wasn't going to happen. Nevertheless, I disconnected the call, since the person on the other line was just completely useless. I had my toddler in the car with me, and I was unsure if it was even okay to keep driving, since I didn't know what the issue was. My husband ended up meeting me in some random parking lot, and we discovered that the problem was due to a careless technician. They had left the cover to the air filter housing unlatched, so the cover came off while I had been driving (this is why I hadn't initially noticed an issue). We replaced the cover and ensured it was properly latched. Alas...the issue was solved. No more loud noise. I will never, ever return to this dealership. They clearly have no clue, and are unwilling to help solve a customer's issue. As long as they get paid for their subpar service, I suppose.

They have several car listed on True Car, CarGuru, and their own site. Most of these have sat for sale for multiple months with several price drops. When I contacted them to actually see about buying one, they said they weren't go to sell them. Only local customers. We never even talked about price. I've never met a car dealer who's business model was to NOT sell cars. Why even list them on these nation-wide sites. Failed model, failed dealer. Avoid them.

I used to do oil changes for the last 5 years that costed $30 there using their checkbook that I purchased which included 10 free oil changes and tire rotation. I had no more free oil changes left but they sent me a $25 coupon for oil change and they charged me an extra $33 for tax and used oil and filter disposal. Classic bait and switch tactics. Plus they tried to up sell me brake job like replacing rotors and brake pads but my car does not need that at all because it has low milage and everything works perfectly fine, I think they quoted me over $600. They also wanted to replace the battery charging me over $200 for it plus taxes and fees. Will never go there and don't recommend this place to anyone

I hate buying and selling cars! If you look at my post history you will see a dealership not to go too! Gregory Hyundai however, is different. The sales rep, the floor manager, the finance guy…I truly felt they were trying to earn my business. We had a few hiccups, more related to my trade in then them, and it took longer then I wanted (those hiccups), but I drove away happy. In a new vehicle at a competitive price and with a pleasant customer service experience. This is my 2nd vehicle I’ve leased through them, I will be back in 3 years and will continue to make them my first stop. I highly recommend them, they were transparent and up front, I respect that kind of open communication…even if it isn’t exactly what I want to hear. That kind of honesty is important in an experience as challenging as buying or selling a car can be.

My salesman, Reda, displayed unusual competence in every aspect of the purchase, including model history, pluses, features, options, and ways to get the most for our investment with available rebates and onsite (vs ordered) choices. He understood the financing as well, but appropriately deferred to the finance people. Most importantly, he was trustworthy, warm, and extremely informative without being the least bit pushy. He requested and read well my agenda and responded consistently with professional, and personal (where fitting) sharing that left me feeling very confident in working with this dealership. Frankly, I had another option on the table elsewhere and turned it down to go with Reda and Gregory Hyundai. The owner, Greg, even did follow up calling to make sure I had been treated well by all his staff and was satisfied with my choice. I'm 62 years old and have bought many cars over the years. This was truly my best experience doing so, and kudos go first to Reda, and secondly to the way Greg has made his dealership a user-friendly place. Homemade cookies were a great touch in the mail a week later. I didn't feel pressured in any way. My response to this survey is simply what I felt was deserved.

I was greeted promptly. The Genesis I asked to see was ready and waiting for me to take a test ride. Rob Will was very informative and explained everything about the car. There are so many features offered that Rob suggested we drive the car awhile and then he scheduled a meeting to answer all our questions and give us more of the details. The whole experience of buying a car here was very enjoyable. Rob went out of his way to make us feel like family.

He was (and is) very responsive and informative, polite, professional, and incredibly patient. Found my car online and started the process with a phone call. Dealer gave initial numbers and explained the difference upon arrival in full detail. Everything was up front. Waiting for paperwork to be prepared was a little long but not excessive. Worked out a great deal at my terms and price, can beat that. The sales and finance staff at Gregory Hyundai made my car lease experience very easy. I actually did most of my communication via e-mail, explaining what kind of car I wanted and the payments I wanted in a lease. After just a few e-mails we had worked out the details. I went to the dealer for a test drive, agreed on the car and went back to my office. When I went to the dealership the next day all lthe paperwork was done and just waiting for my signature, ready for me to drive the car off the lot. Best car buying (leasing) experience I've had in a long time.

Gregory Hyundai provided exceptionally service, up until it was time to deal with the finance department. Let me just say, I have three finance contracts for one vehicle. Making an error once is understandable. I purchased a vehicle on 3-21, returned to the dealership 3-26 to bring in keys to the trade-in vehicle. I was contacted by the dealership 3-28 informing me that an error had been made on the finance contract and that I needed to re-sign the contract. The new contract was signed 3-29. I received another call from the dealership 4-8 saying that the 2nd finance contract was never received by the finance company. The 3rd finance contract was signed 4-12. It is finally over. Never again... Maybe others will have better luck.

Yesterday I had a 7 am service appointment for my 2010 Tucson. I was met very promptly (I think) by Jeff, who proceeded to write my service ticket. Because the car would be there all day for the repairs, I was given a loaner (for FREE) What a SURPRISE!! I thought for sure I would need to rent it! Jeff then proceeded to review all the functions of the loaner and asked if I wanted my iPhone paired! Of course I said yes, and it took only seconds to do. I was out of there and on my way to the office in no time at all. Sherry then called me and told me what they found during their inspection and how much it would cost. I said go ahead with the repairs except for the brakes, which I can do myself. Through out the entire process, I felt they were very honest and direct with me and treated me as one of the family. I will definitely go back if and when I need further service. By the way, I initially purchased the car from them years ago.

We just brought home our third new car from Gregory Hyundai on Saturday, January 23, 2016. We have been very happy with their service department since 1999 and the Service Manager John Verschelden is like family! We are also looking forward to continuing our relationship with Sherry Shea. Greg Mauro has been involved in all of our purchases and has made sure we are being well taken care of. Barry found us the Sante Fe SE in the color that we wanted and had it there in two days. He was very knowledgeable when explaining the car's features to us and has been available for my questions in person and on the phone. Ray helped with all the sale details and also made sure our transaction went smoothly and that we were happy. David took care of our lease financing in a timely manner and the whole deal was handled very professionally. This car has EVERYTHING including every safety feature available and we are thoroughly enjoying driving it.

When I inquired for a Spanish speaking salesman, I was introduced to one rapidly and with no problem. Whatever I wanted to test and ask was answered. I received no attitude from any of the managers and salesman. They were friendly and informative. I returned a few days later to purchase a car. Fernando was my salesman, Sam the sales manager (I think), and Dave the finance guy. I liked them all.

I first visited the dealership and worked with Gregory Roland. All was fine until I asked for a final price. He laughed in my face and said he would not because we weren't really going to buy at this time. His statement to my wife was "why should I give you a quote when you aren't going to buy today". I stood there dumbfounded with a pre-approved loan from my credit union not to exceed $48,000.00 and a credit rating of 809. I work very hard to attain this status and to be laughed at was very insulting. This dealership is about a mile from my residence and had some good reviews, so I went back a couple of days later and purchased the vehicle I was interested in, but from another sales consultant.

Car-buying is rough, but Gregory Hyundai made it easier and pleasant. I originally called Gregory Hyundai and spoke to Bram about a 2015 Elantra, and scheduled a time to see it. Bram was helpful from start to finish; he was energetic and friendly, and offered to show me more options in my price range. Not once did he try to persuade me into something I didn't want or trick me into anything. I ended up going home to think about that first car, as I knew there were a few others I wanted to see. The following morning I was tricked into a bait and switch situation at another dealership and immediately contacted Bram at Gregory Hyundai. I told him the situation I was in, and he expressed genuine concern. I left that dealership and drove straight to Gregory Hyundai, as Bram said he would work with me to get me in a car that day. Sure enough, Bram and the whole team at Gregory Hyundai were able to get me an amazing deal on a brand new 2016 Hyundai Elantra Limited. They also gave me a very fair trade-in value for my 2004 Ford Focus ZX5. I met the financing person and went through all of the paperwork, and boom! I had a new car! I couldn't be happier with my purchase or with my experience at Gregory Hyundai! I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking to buy a new or used car!

I went in to Gregory Hyundai to purchase a "Hyundai Certified Pre-Owned (CPO)" vehicle. I was informed a CPO vehicle goes through a vigorous inspection & meets their top criteria. If even 1 item on their checklist is not met, it is NOT a CPO vehicle.I purchased a "CPO" vehicle. The day after, I contacted them immediately as there were some issues.[Please see attached pictures]1st attempted contact for a resolution -- Contacted the owner, Mr. Mauro chose to ignore me2nd attempted contact for a resolution --Contacted Hyundai Motor America (Corporate, USA). They said there is nothing they can do. Each dealership is independently owned. Trying contacting the BBB (Better Business Bureau) to see if they can help.3rd attempted contact for a resolution --Contacted the BBB. After months of going back & forth, Gregory Hyundai ignored the evidence presented [please see attached pictures]. Mr. Mauro ignored request for independent mediation.4th attempted contact for a resolution --Contacted Hyundai Motor America again. How can you trick the public by taunting a CPO vehicle has so many additional benefits and is backed by warranties and do nothing when a dealership (independent or not) clearly does not meet the standards for a Hyundai Certified Pre-Owned vehicle? [Response from Hyundai Motor America: Sorry, there is nothing we can do. It is noted.]5th attempted contact for a resolution -- (Currently pending as of August 2015)Contacted the Illinois Attorney General and filed a consumer complaint. We came to the Gregory Hundai dealership just to see Hundai Elantra. Larry the salesman gently approached us and started the conversation. We explained to Larry our needs and he showed us cars he thought can be the good fit for our needs. It was the best experience in a car purchase, and our sales person Larry was excellent. He spent time on showing us cars and explained well every car features and differences between models. We looked all Hundai models and test drove 5 different car models until we found what we want. We never felt pressure or impatience from our salesman. Gregory is a pretty nicely set-up dealership. I had already been in contact with Larry Barr online, so there was no hard sell or difficulty. he knew what we were looking for, and he had several cars for us to consider. Larry is very personable, a nice guy, and straightforward. He listened when we discussed our specific desires for the car, and found us one that my wife fell in love with (we were replacing her car). The finance process with all the paperwork was very smoothly handled by Rita. All-in-all, it was one of the most pleasant car-buying experiences I've had (I'm in my 50's!). We told Larry we would be back to look when it was time to replace my car.

I decided to go to Gregory Hyundai because of the price they pitched to me. My salesman was friendly and gave me a lot of information about the Elantra I wanted to purchase. I already knew what car I wanted so this was no trouble. When it came down to finalizing my paperwork I thought everything went smoothly but they made an error with my VIN. They had to get my vehicle from another dealership because I wanted a certain color and I guess no one checked the VIN number. Because of this, they started calling me everyday to see if I can come in to resign all the paper work with the correct VIN. I work night shifts, so it was not convenient for me to come again to the dealership at the times they wanted. They also failed to give me a spare key to my car. When I finally made it to the dealership, I was there for another 1/2 hour because they needed to make me a spare key. With the delay of the paper work, I also got my loan payment information late too. I am happy with my car, but I feel like the dealership could of been more professional and less careless when it came to handling the paperwork.

Went in after doing my online research thinking I'd focus on the sonata eco as it would fit my budget. It didn't have everything I wanted, but I had financial limits. Talked with Larry Barr, and he was awesome to work with. Showed me amazing incentives I wasn't aware of on the top end sonata hybrid that made it affordable. He was very straightforward and great to talk with which I really appreciated. Would highly recommend him to anyone I know in the market for a new car. Sales room facility was very nice, but may want some separation from other sales people as its very easy to listen to other people's negotiations. Also might just be high inventory time, but parking in front was very crowded.

After going to McGrath Hyundai and getting treated like dirt not to mention all the lying regarding their prices I decided to go to Gregory. I dealt with Roland and one of the managers and got exactly what I wanted. Roland answered all my questions and was easy to deal with. I got the car I wanted at a very fair price and didn't leave with brain damage. I would suggest if you go to Gregory you ask for Roland. Just a little info about him, he was very straight forward and at first I wasn't too sure about the guy, but after spending a little time working with him he was very easy to understand and his personality was just that, honest and straight forward. He actually knows his stuff and wont push you in a direction. He will ask the right questions and guide you to an educated decision. Thanks Roland, I love my car.

Being a young, inexperienced, woman, I knew going car shopping was going to be difficult. Gregory Hyundai was a poor choice I made in purchasing the Acura TSX in October 2014.I called to dealership seeing they had a 2004 Acura TSX listed online at 68,962 miles for $10,999. It wasn't too bad of a deal from what I saw online and the pictures seemed fairly decent for the year. I spoke to the internet manager, Kevin, at the time. I asked him if there was anyone in particular I should talk to about the car and he tells me he'll have a sales guy named Ryan call me. I ask how negotiable they are on their pricing, and Kevin insisted they were not at all, which was frustrating, but somewhat understandable to me.Few minutes later another salesman, Greg, calls. He was very casual and knew very little on the phone about the car. I schedule to go in to view the car anyways, he agrees. I show up at that date and time, and the car wasn't cleaned or conditioned. Mind you, the car had been in their stock for some time at which point. The sales guy was completely unprofessional. He ignored my concerns outright when I would bring them up, he had no answer for my questions on the car, and he was too busy talking about himself to understand my needs in the vehicle.He kept trying to get me into the car for a test drive as I was looking it over, only having been there for less than ten minutes. Then as I'm pointing out the flaws in the car, he kept down playing what I had to say. Car ran alright on the very short test drive. The moment I told him about how I wasn't happy with the price considering the flaws in the exterior paint and scratches in the interior, he tried to pressure me into a larger down payment, which makes no sense to me. Then he mentioned how Kevin said they weren't negotiable on pricing. I told them either they were going to fix the scratches and chips in the paint or knock down the price. He opts to knock it down $300. I put a small down payment that was refundable just in case I decided to go with it. I had to leave since I had to go to work, but said I'd be back in the next day. I go in with my folks to view the car again the following day as promised, and the car still was not conditioned or cleaned. My dad and I were looking under the hood and then the sales guy starts rambling on how it has a new battery, everything is new and well kept.I decide to purchase it and be done because I really wanted the car. We get into finance with two managers, one named Felicia and another gentleman trying to sell me a protection plan essentially. He made xxxxxx jokes outright as I was trying to weigh my options and tried to pressure me into fraudulently claiming the current scratches on the car as new to get those taken care of. I opted to not purchase the extra plan. Now I've had the car a few months and I have found on this supposed "well kept car" several issues that supposedly passed their inspection. The rear strut needs replaced, it needs a new wheel alignment, and that supposed new battery needed replaced. The battery was from 2012. There's another mechanical issue with the car where when you brake in the midst of a turn the car jerks, but I'm still trying to figure out exactly what it is.

None of them came even close to the price, professional attitude and friendliness of Gregory Hyundai! Roland was the 6th salesman I met with to purchase a new car but the first to actually listen to what I wanted and not force a car upon me. I wax and waned between new, used, SUV, sedan and he patiently walked through every scenario with me. He is a mechanic in his own right and was able to list for me pros and cons of the engines on other cars that I had test driven as well as expected maintenance. I came in with the thought of purchasing the Tuscon and ended up with a smokin' pacfic blue Hyundai Sonata which I just love!! The Hyundai warranty is unbeatable and so is Roland's expertise!!

I was very happy with my buying experience at Gregory Honda. My sales representative, Greg Roland, was extremely knowledgeable, experienced, and attentive. The process of buying a car, which can be very stressful, was very pleasant and business-like at Gregory. Among other things, what differentiated Gregory from other dealers I had talked to was when I asked for the out-the-door price, they gave me one without hesitation. Other dealers annoyed me when they would give me a "ballpark" figure and would not give me a firm price until I came back a second time and told them I was ready to make a deal right there and then. Finally, after having the car for a week, I decided to have it undercoated. The service department was equally pleasant and business-like and I was very happy with the service.

From the moment I drove into the dealership and was met by Kevin Hart. until the last negotiation with Luke Clarizio the experience was very professional. We didn't always agree on things, but it turned out I really got a good deal. They know their products well. Kevin spent a long time educating me on all the features of my car. Cars aren't as simple as they used to be. I was very impressed with the dealership and would recommend them to everyone. On 7/17/13 we signed a sales contract to purchase a used Audi A4 from Gregory Hyundai. The dealer promised to repair the front end and repaint an area on the side of the car as part of the sales agreement. The dealer promised the car to be ready on 7/19/13. We obtained the financing from our own credit union. Just before leaving our home, 80 miles away from the dealer, we called to make sure the car was ready before making the trip. We were told the car was all set. When we arrived, the repairs were not done and the sales manager said he could not afford to fix the car as agreed. He spoke with the owner who offered $200 for us to have the paint repaired ourselves and $65 to go to Car x for a front end alignment. The sales manager said he did not know what was all wrong with the car but that audis are too expensive to fix. This dealer did not live up to their end of the sales contract (legal or not, we dont know). We did not purchase the car. We would have appreciated the dealer being honest before we took time to take out a loan for the car and drive back and forth (more than 350 miles). We would never go back to this dealer or recommend them. It is my opinion the owners offer was a bit of an insult.

I wrote to them about a specific pre-owned car that I had in mind and told them my budget. They replied with a higher price. I responded to that with a number between my original budget and their quote, to which they replied "I'm sure we'll have a deal" and invited me in. When I went it, they raised their price significantly over their originally quoted price, so we had nothing to talk about. In addition, the pre-owned car I was looking at turned out to be a manufacturer's buy-back (Lemon Law) car, and that wasn't disclosed to me until after I had driven it and spent nearly a half hour in the dealership. Every time the salesman left me to discuss something with his "manager," it took 15 minutes and this happened more than once. They also held the keys to my trade until I stood up to leave.

I was originally interested in purchasing a Honda Accord, after spending a dreadful 6 hours in a Honda dealership I walked out without a car! I looked online and researched several other vehicles. I contacted Gregory Hyundai about a used Sonata. I called them explained my credit situation and told them how much I wanted to pay per month. Steve called me and told me that he found someone to finance me with a lower interest rate than I expected! I walked into Gregory Hyundai at 6 pm and drove out with a brand new Sonata by 8:15 pm! This is my first time to purchase a car. I have been to many other dealers, they just tried to cheat my money out of my pocket. (Well, it seems a foreign girl is really easy to be cheated. ) But Gregory Hyundai has the most honorable dealership!!! Here is my experience with Gregory Hyundai: I am trying to buy a red Sonata. (1) The sales consultant Kevin offered me the lowest price from the first time we met. Kevin is very honest with prices, while other stores' dealers always tried to manipulate numbers. (2) The financial manager Richard got my car loan approved, while other dealers can not. He is also very cooperative, nice, and warm-hearted. I guess he should be a Christian. (3) The store manager Luke always keeps his promise. He agreed to give me the red Sonata at a certain price, but he could not find a car to match that low price. To my surprise, he turned out to give me the better car but still at the low price, just to keep his promise!!! Now, I am really happy! I do love my car! Gregory Hyundai has the best dealership ever!!!!! So although I got matching price from other Hyundai dealers, I still returned to Gregory Hyundai to buy the car, because they really have the best dealership!

They low-balled me over the internet and when I came to the dealership they jacked up the price a lot. What a waste of time... When I bought a car from them a couple of years ago they insisted on signing a document which locks you into arbitration in case you want to sue them. When I refused they vigorously tried to persuade me it was in my best interest which I think it was not. I am not happy with their service department either, I strongly feel they push services I don't really need. They also recommend services that Hyundai Motor America does not recommend. On the bright side, they are conveniently located next to freeway. They offer coffee in their waiting area and free Wi-fi is available there.

We stopped at Gregory Hyundai after shopping around for many months to find the right car. I was looking for a mid-size vehicle that would last me many years so I wanted the right size, a nice interior that would hold up, good gas mileage, and something I loved the look of and something that wasn't ridiculously expensive. We looked at Toyotas, Hondas, Lexus, Mazdas, Fords and more and I wasn't finding that car that I knew I wanted until I saw the Hyundai Santa Fe. Kevin Hart, our salesperson, was phenomenal. He greeted us right away, asked spot on questions about our needs, and ended up being the most low-pressure, thorough, patient and nicest salesperson I have ever dealt with. He honestly made me feel like he only wanted me to purchase the car if I felt it was perfect for me. After we decided to buy the car, my husband did the negotiating and then we both went in to sign the financing paperwork and pick up the car. Both the negotiating and financing went so quickly and painlessly. It truly was the most low-pressure, easiest experience we have ever had in purchasing a vehicle. Kevin spent a lot of time making sure we understood the vehicle and how to operate it before we left. He also made it clear that I could come in any time and he would help me with any questions I had. He spoke very highly of the manager, the service department and the staff at the dealership. I have actually never been to a dealership where I wanted to go back and spend time there. I love the laid-back atmosphere at the dealership and the staff is always smiling and friendly. Let me start by saying that my four previous personal car purchases were thru the Audi Exchange of Highland Park. For quite some time I've had the feeling that they a) have become complacent/arrogant due to Audi's success and/or b) take me for granted as a multi-repeat customer. Either way, as they say, insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different outcome. So since the lease on my Audi was about to expire I decided to shop around. And shop around I did, going to many different dealers and test driving many different cars, including VWs, BMWs and Porsches. But from the very beginning I had my eye on the Hyundai Santa Fe, and one day I was passing by Gregory Hyundai and I thought what the heck, let's pull in and test drive one. I was greeted immediately by Dimitry Fuklev, who was sharp, attentive, and answered all of my questions. I said how about a test drive and the next thing he did was let me pick one out of their inventory and off we went. I was impressed, with both the car and the dealership. Upon return Dimitry suggested something I didn't even know was possible (to trade in my leased vehicle - buyout), which appeared to save me considerable money. I went home and did some research on the vehicle and returned with a list of questions. Dimitry took me to the service manager (a very nice lady) who answered my questions, and the one she didn't have an answer for she got a head mechanic and got my question answered. So we were wrapping up the deal and then Audi Financial was being a pain about the lease buyout by the dealership, so I just bought the car and traded it in. But I changed my mind on the color of the car, which didn't fluster Dimitry, who tracked my new choice down in a day. The time spent with the finance guy was all of 10 minutes, quick and easy.I'm an informed, demanding customer and nothing I threw at these guys made them lose patience or get pushy. I can honestly say I've never had such a pleasant car buying experience, and I have a feeling their service will be equally customer-oriented. If you're shopping for a Hyundai, stop by and ask for Dimitry -- I really can't recommend him, or the rest of the folks I met there, highly enough. 5 out of 5 stars.

I purchased a 2013 Sonata Limited Turbo from Gregory Hyundai 3 days ago and had to write a review immediately to let everyone know how great of an experience I had at this dealership! I must say, this was by far the best experience I've ever had at any dealership! First off, the staff there were so helpful and inviting from the first time I walked into the dealership. The salesman I dealt with was Roland. He was a pleasure to deal with! He helped me choose the car that was perfect for me, and never once did he push me into something I didn't want or hound me on the phone everyday like most salesmen do. When it came time for me to purchase the car, I told Roland exactly what exterior color, interior color and package I wanted. He located the car for me and I had it the next day! I went in that day and there it was, exactly what I wanted! The paperwork process was a breeze and I was on my way with my brand new car!I shopped around, of course, as any consumer would and this dealership was by far the BEST Hyundai dealership I visited in the Chicagoland area! My experience was wonderful. I looked at the Elantra hatchback and sedan. Roland showed me both including his hatchback. I sat in both cars and test drove both. It was a difficult decision to make, but Roland, the salesman was very easy-going with my indecisiveness. I was also looking at a subaru impreza at the time and while Roland clearly wanted me to buy the Hyundai, he had some great things to say about the subaru too. I always felt at ease.When it came to buying the car, Roland was great at communication and negotiations were simple. Picking up the car took a little longer than expected because they were busy, but it was great to look at the other cars and learn as much about the elantra as possible before leaving with it. Richard, the finance guy was very helpful with financing the car. He explained how it would increase my credit rating and went through all the paperwork diligently explaining everything along the way. He also gave me some advice about future purchases. Overall, buying a car at Gregory Hyundai was a very enjoyable experience.

I went in there knowing that I wanted to get a new Sonata.From the moment that I walked in and met Dimitry I knew this was a fantastic dealer. He did not pressure me into anything! He let me choose which vehicles I wanted to drive and I made my own selection. His sales manager Luke was awesome as well, both of them were very knowledgeable about the two vehicles I was interested in. When I finally decided on which one I wanted, they worked with me right away on the price and got me into the car at the price I wanted to pay. The finance person, Rich was very helpful as well explaining what everything was that I was signing in the Finance office. After that I got to leave with my brand new vehicle as happy as can be. I have been buying cars for 40 years, from a dozen dealers in California and Illinois. This was by far the best experience I have ever had. I felt comfortable with everyone I met, never pressured, always listened to. This transaction was complicated because I was ending a lease early with another manufacturer and dealer in another town. Plus the car needed some body work before I could return it. Myriam is arranging the body work and Paul and Matthew will be assisting me in returning the car to the other dealer. This they did ,not because I asked, but because they sensed my concern and offered to help. This was great customer service. I got the car I wanted, the color I wanted and the price I wanted.I never had to ask twice nor haggle. I will recommend this Gregory Hyundai to everyone I know and anytime I have a chance. Customer service is obviously number one with this dealership. From the moment Kevin (our salesman) greeted us to the the moment we drove our awesome new Azera off the lot we felt like we just bought a car from a longtime friend. They gave us a fair trade in price and a great deal on our new car. Everyone we dealt with was extremely friendly and the time consuming experience that is usually associated with the finance department was non existent as we were in the finance managers office (Rich) for as long as it took to sign the paper work.....about 10 minutes.Overall all experience was excellent and I would recommend this dealership and salesmen to anyone!

The entire experience from beginning to end was fantastic! Arnie was knowledgable and wanted to provide as much information as I needed to help make my decision easier. I had a car to trade in and John did his best to ensure it was a fair trade value and help me get into my new car. Rich made filling out the paperwork, which is usually tedious, rather fun and was efficient and fastidious about the process. They all had great people skills and made me feel welcomed and really comfortable. I had multiple stickers (city, parking, etc) that needed to get transfered from my old car windshield to the other and one of the guys from the service garage took his time to make sure we could salvage as many as possible. The special deal hyundai is offering for the month of April was a good incentive to come in, but it was the staff that ensured I went to Gregory Hyundai instead of another dealership nearby. And it is the staff that will keep me coming back. :-)

This is by far the best car buying experience I've ever had. If you're looking for a Hyundai, definitely go see Roland. Most people dread the car buying experience because of the games and hoops most car salesmen put you through. Roland was no BS. He was to the point, didn't play games, and did what it took to get the deal done. Their finance manager Rich, worked really hard to make the numbers work (even with the negative equity I was up against from my previous vehicle). Bottom line, if you're going to get a Hyundai, go see Roland. It'll save you time and you can avoid the typical shenanigans MOST car salesmen put you through.

After having my 2004 Santa Fe serviced at this location my husband spoke with Justin in service told him about the new Santa Fe Sport and had one in service in prep to show him. Justin knew what kind of a deal my husband was looking for and pit him in contact with Kevin Hart who went out of his way to show as many options to buy as possible. I purchased a used 07 Sonata six months ago from Gregory Hyundai and so far I am really liking it except with some minor issues (got resolved in regular maintenance).. After having issues with sales agent and the manager at the time of purchase, Greg (owner of the dealership) took care of me, my car purchase went well. He resolved all my issues which i had earlier. I recently purchased a new Tuscon and the salesperson had me buy an iPhone adapter when one came in the glovebox. He didn't even know the GLS had auto headlamps. They promised free car washes anytime and the first time I went in at 9:00 (opening) on a Saturday they told me they had one guy working and it would take 1.5 hours. My wife called to complain and the rude owner, Greg, hung up on her. They give you these "cheesy" fake $100 bills and tell you if you refer someone who buys a car they will give you $100. They never paid my coworker who referred me even after reminding them 3 separate times. They put a hard sell on me to buy a $600 coupon book for some oil changes and tire rotations. This should be free in my opinion. I am so disappointed I didn't buy at one of the other local Hyundai dealers such as Loren, Knauz, or Grossinger. Please think twice before buying here.

Dimitry was incredibly patient and kind. He gave us several options with new and used vehicles and helped us narrow down our choice. Went out of my way looking for a second car for my son for school had seen a car advertised at a reasonable price how ever when i got there the car in question was in horrible shape paint was fading and cracked , interior looked as if it had been in a nuclear war . I was unsure if I wanted an Elantra or Sonata so Adrian put them side by side and let ME make the decision.The manager I dealt with was John and he was great. He showed me both a lease and a purchase and I decided on the lease. After I said yes he personaly drove the car in the back to get cleaned up so Adrian could finish the paperwork... I made a purchase of a 2007 Jeep Wrangler 4 Door Sahara with 39,487 miles on January 4, 2012. My sales associate was Scotty Hart. Since the purchase I have now had to take the Jeep into a Jeep/Chrysler Dealership 3 times and have not had my vehicle for a total of 8 days. The fact that I have had to take a vehicle I purchased 8 months ago into the shop at all (aside from oil changes) is absolutely absurd. The first time I took the vehicle into the shop I was told there were 5 recalls dating back before the purchase of the vehicle. Therefore, this dealership and Scotty alet me purchase a vehicle that was not even up to current standards, seems quite unsafe to me. The original reason I took the vehicle in was due to start up issues, these issues made me late to work as well as other appointments. Not to mention the frustration I was going through when a car I purchased 8 months ago wouldnt start. Once the recalls were completed it seemed as though the start up issue had subsided. The vehicle had issues starting up AGAIN one month later. This could be attributed to the Jeep dealership not diagnosing the problem correctly, but realistically it is due to the fact that the Jeep dealership had to complete 5 recalls that should have been taken care of before I purchased the Jeep from a safety standpoint. The Jeep is currently at a Jeep dealership for the 3rd time and has been diagnosed as having a malfunctioning starter. They also were evaluating the vehicle and noticed that the 4WD and Transmission fluids had not been replaced at the 30,000 mile mark (factory recommended). Recall above that I purchased the vehicle almost 10,000 miles over the 30,000 mile mark The experience overall is terrible. I spoke with a sales manager today about the issue and he informed me that the dealership would not be able to discover the recalls unless they took the vehicle to a Jeep dealership, which if they did that for every non-Hyundai vehicle they would not be able to sell any used vehicles... I typed "Jeep Recalls" into Google and found all the matching recalls that were taken care of by the dealership in a matter of minutes. This dealership does not care about who they sell a vehicle to as long as they make the sale and turn some kind of profit. I will not recommend this dealership to anyone I know and will be re posting this account on all possible forums to spread the word. 8/16/2012

So I called in about a used truck I seen online. I spoke with a salesman scottie. We arranged for me to come in n see the truck later that night. He called me later n said he wasn't going to be there n his co worker Greg would take care of me. When I got there to see the car the car wouldn't even START right away I guess because it was too cold that's what he said. The car wasn't even washed or ready for me too see. U would think they would have it ready but it wasnt. The car wasn't even serviced n the whole suspension was so bad that we had to cancel the test drvie. I would never go to this dealership again look else where!!

I had a wonderful experience with my sales person here Greg ROLAND (not the owner Greg). He's a low key, non-pushy sales guy who will take care of you. I felt comfortable during the whole deal and never felt like I was being pushed into something or lied to like you do with so many other car salesman out there. He's very knowledgeable and professional and I will definitely being seeking him out on all my future car purchases.

Last week my wife and I purchased a 2012 Hyundai Tucson. My son went out on the internet and based on the information he found, suggested that I call Gregory. Much to my surprise, it was the owner Gregory Mauro that picked up the telephone to field my inquiry! I like that the owner took such an active role in our shopping experience from the first contact. Gregory met me at the door, thanked me for coming in and handed me off to Scotty who he said would take good care of us. There are other car salesmen I've dealt with before that I liked, but Scotty was exceptional. He was very easy to deal with and I enjoyed my treatment. We had actually shopped the car by the time we got to Gregory so we knew what we wanted in terms of accessories and colors. They did not have the exact car we wanted but by the time evening fell, they had picked up a car for us. We are in love with the car, the deal was everything they said it would be and the whole experience was one I would look forward to again! They have already contacted us 4 or 5 times making sure we are happy with the car. You can't ask for more than that. I highly recommend shopping at Gregory Hyundai!

Scotty greets customers with remarkable personal interest, sincerity, and an eagerness to assist. He is competent, knowledgeable, courteous and patient; and, it was refreshing to work with him. Given the unfortunate overabundance of incompetence in the workplace, I am most appreciative of first-rate employees. Scotty is definitely an asset to Gregory Hyundai and deserves accolades for his outstanding service.I must say that since meeting Scotty, I have been impressed with two other employees at Gregory Hyundai with whom I worked as I proceeded through the process of purchasing my car. My husband and I had been looking for a Santa Fe for about a month when we found Gregory Hyundai through an internet search. We traveled about 150 miles and it was definitely worth the drive. We worked with the owner, Gregory, and our salesman was Scotty. Both were very helpful, knowledgeable, and courteous. Experience was relatively quick and painless. Greg was personable and took a no nonsense, no gimmicks approach. One of the finance guys called in so there was a little wait on that but the one who ended up taking care of us was sharp and got us in and out pretty fast. Car looked great but I did laugh that it didn't come with a full tank of gas! Not a deal breaker, obviously. I would definitely recommend your dealer to friends and family.

Buying houses and cars is both the largest purchases one usually will make and the worst experiences one often has to endure. And often the actual, final end of the day difference in a reasonable purchase experience is a relatively small amount of money; On a $30k car, the argument is over $375. Kevin, James and Greg are pros, they have all of the information one may need but much less of the unwanted wastes of time; just straight, fair, reasonable people with great products to sell, a clean, well-organized dealership. I'm 55, this is the best purchase experience I have had and are appreciative for their efforts to make it that way. Thanks

Could you believe these people..I have been to numerous of carlots but never encounter anything like this...I completed an online finance application and spoke with Moses who said I was approve and ask me when can I come in to purchase the vehicle..I went to the dealership test drove the car which did not have air conditioning or a seat belt for the driver side...which is a big problem..should they be legally able to sell a vehicle like that...well I sign all the paper work and got my bank card swipe for the down payment of $1000...I was told by Moses and Will to come back on my day off which was Wednesday to get the air fixed..however I got the car on Saturday...when I went back Wednesday Will ask me if I had a co-signer so he can get me into something newer..than a 2004 grand prix with 161000 miles..My sister offer to co-sign..after waiting at the crabby dealership for 2 hours and not Will or Moses or anyone else acknowledging that I was still there...I finally ask what was the outcome..these scam artist told me that We were approve to get the air fix onthe grand prix..I said what I thought this was for a newer car..Moses said oh no your sister co sign so you can get the air fix and you wasnt approve all the way by yourself on the loan..so I demanded my money back they told me the Manager was not there and I will have to come back the next day to get a check..I said I will leave the car and one of their sales person should be ableto give me a ride ..they told me they would take me to the train and cut me a check tomorrow..I said hell no ...I called my bank to stop the charge then Mose call me at 9pm saying they willrefund the money back to my card...these are poor horrible people

Test drove a 2011 Elantra at the dealership. Following the test drive, I made an offer that was only $700 under the sticker price on the car. After a few minutes, the sales manager comes out and (quite rudely) proceeds to tell me they've "cancelled all pricing programs for that car" and they weren't willing to negotiate on price. I ended up leaving and buying a Sonata Limited from another dealer in Chicagoland. I don't think my offer was unreasonable in any way. If Gregory Hyundai has enough suckers coming in their door willing to pay full sticker price for their cars, then good for them. I'm not one of those people. You would have sold me a car if you had been more courteous and willing to be reasonable on pricing.

I went to Gregory Hyundai and purchased a new, 2011 Hyundai Elantra. I was not happy with the trade-in being offered by another Hyundai dealer and Gregory not only resolved that issue to my complete satisfaction with very little "negotiating" necessary, but also treated me with courtesy and respect during the entire process. Even the finance person was extremely efficient and not pushy. I especially appreciated that neither the sales person (Greg Roland), the owner (Gregory Mauro) or the finance person (sorry, can't recall his name - he was so efficient) tried to sell me additional options or services I didn't want or need. It was one of the most positive experiences I have had purchasing any vehicle and I would highly recommend Gregory Hyundai. Also, they were one of the few dealers that actually had the car I wanted in stock, and even though I've only had it a few days, I have absolutely no regrets and really love the car!Sincerely,Larry D. Got a good deal on a buy back, wish I could of gotten a little of the asking price, but they were firm. I think by all the features the car had that overall we got a good deal for out money. Had a issue with the Navi, but the service lady who is super nice took care of everything and we are all set. Overall not a bad experience at all.

It turned out that the name sounded familiar because he has been sponsoring little league baseball here in Northbrook for years. Our son wore a jersey with that name on it many years ago. We knew many people in common We really felt that everyone was friendly and they stuck with us and gave good car info. They have good follow through. It's worth at least a visit.

As I drove to the service garage door, John jumped up and moved the vehicle inside the service area so that there would be room for me to drive in. He greeted me immediately, was friendly, courteous, thorough in his explanations, called to let me know what work was needed after the car was inspected, gave me an accurate estimate of when the car would be ready, called when it was ready and answered all my questions. He truly seemed to care about my understanding of the repairs and about my satisfaction of the work done. He was just terrific.

I've been looking to purchase a new car for the last few months and finally picked Hyundai Sonata 2011 for various reasons: price, gas mileage, warranties and overall look of this vehicle. So, I chose to work with one local dealer: Gregory Hyundai in Highland Park, IL, because of their large inventory of vehicles. My first impression was that the Sales and Service Team was very professional and enthusiastic in helping me with all aspects of purchasing a new car: test drive, questions/answers, negotiation, loan application and finance. The whole experience took about 2 hours. That was an amazing time record! Now, its been over a week and I am driving my best yet vehicle which should last me a few years, and a confidence to recommend this dealership to others for a lifetime. Thanks Greg and Alex.

I had researched a Used SUV online and came across the make, model, and stats that I was looking for was in the inventory at Gregory. While researching online, I had been prompted to chat with an associate. They took my information and I signed off. I had a vmail from the dealer the next day at 9 am. I knew what I wanted and so did they. The price was extremely reasonable, and they gave me a great deal on my trade. I dealt with Ray Fulton, who you could tell really cared about his customers and did an outstanding job. I would reccomend this dealer to friends and family.

My present car is coming off lease. My husband made a short list of what new cars we should consider. My first stop was Gregory Hyundai in Highland Park, not only because we were interested in the Tuscon, but also that Gregory is located in our town. Because of illness, my husband was not able to accompany me. I felt so comfortable from the moment I entered the dealer. I test drove the car I came to see and I told my salesman Ray I was just beginning to look and not ready to make a decision that day especially since my husband was not there with me. He made every attempt to accommodate me but also understood that I was l not yet ready to purchase. He and the sales manager put in writing what the car would cost and said to come back at any time we were ready. When I told my husband of the great experience I had at Gregory I told him that I was really not interested in seeing any other cars or visiting any other dealers. A few weeks later I came in for the Tuscon....but the one I wanted was already sold. Kevin, the sales manager worked hard to find the model I wanted and I brought it home on Christmas Eve. Thanks for the great gift you gave our family!

My husband and I had been searching for a new car for about 2-3 months. We went to many different dealerships, but Gregory Hyundai gave us the best customer service by far. When we initially visited we decided that we wanted to get the Tuscon, and Alex worked with Kevin (sales manager) to try and get us the best price possible. We decided to think it over, but after 2 days, Kevin personally called me and offered the most competitive price, and truly made it hard for us to say no. They were so accommodating and really respected the demands and expectations that we had. I recently went in for my 1st service appt and even after being 30 minutes late, they again met my needs. Usually when you think about buying a car you always dread the fateful "car salesmanship" attitude, but I can say with 100% confidence that you will feel like they are there to make the process as smooth and easy as possible. You will not be disappointed!

Buying a car can be stressful to say the least but the salespeople at Gregory Hyundai made it such a pleasant experience from start to finish. Aronn, Kevin and Greg were great and throughout the whole process we never felt like we were being pressured or rushed. Their goal was to make sure we were happy with our purchase and to answer all of our questions. My husband did a lot of research and we feel like we got a luxury car for a great value. When we went to pick up our 2011 Sonata, Aronn spent as much time as we needed to walk us through how the car works, showed us all of the features, paired our cell phones etc. We are not technologically savvy and Aronn and Kevin were so patient with us. We were also introduced to Miriam the service manager. Everyone we met at Gregory Hyundai made us feel like we were family. I would highly recommend Gregory Hyundai to anyone looking to buy a car. Great people and a great experience.

I bought my current van there (2005 Grand Caravan SE). I got/get good maintenance service and care without feeling gouged in the wallet. They are also friendly and understanding when it comes to explaining problems.Even when they were no longer a Dodge dealership they helped with my van and it's care (without raising prices). If I ever need a new van I will look to Gregory Hyundai before going elswhere.

I forgot to add to my last review they tried to bribe my wife who purchased a used car from them that has had nothing but problem (and IS A LEMON LAW VEHICLE) Which was disclosed in a manner of this car was a factory purchase. To give them a good review with a $5 gift card. Talk about Scummy you cant even be honest when getting reviewed. I hope that Hyundai Corperation can do something to bring a more honest and trust worthly owner into town so I can service there!!!

My wife and I decided to purchase a new car for our two daughters this past weekend. Knowing how frustrating any new car purchase process is, my expectations were not high. Ultimately, we narrowed our choices to a Toyota and a Hyundai. I must say that this was the first time that I can say my auto purchase decision was based not only the car to be selected but the dealership and all of the people involved in the purchase experience. From the Sales Person to the Owner and ultimately the Finance Manager- the entire process was outstanding. I am positive that my next car purchase will be made at Gregory Hyundai. Not only did we feel great about the entire purchase experience, our sales person was nice enough to give us balloons and a big bow to put on the car for an extra special delivery to our daughters. Both my mate and I had test drives on two different days, no problem at this dealership. The management team has been in place for many years, so we have used this dealership to buy several cars. I am amazed with the several poor rating experiences mentioned, it's almost like these people went to a different dealership. My experiences with Gregory Hyundai have been nothing but "Exemplary" on all fronts, both at the front door (Sales), and the back end (Service).I have been both lucky and spoiled for the most part during my many years of car buying and car service experiences. As like many other people during this economy, I was laid-off and am still not gainfully employed. I mention this as my last several vehicles were Audi's, and I was spoiled with a high-end luxury vehicle as well as "The Experience" of Specialty Customer Service at both the front and back end of the collective ownership and servicing of the car.My initial exposure and the beginning of my relationship with Gregory started in May of 2009, when I was looking for a 2009 Hyundai Sonata. With having time on my hands, I researched and visited over 6 Hyundai dealerships, looking for the best deal like most of us these days. Of all the dealerships, my best overall impression and experience was with Gregory, and I indeed wanted to buy my new car with them.I regret to this day that I was swayed by a slightly more minimal price of a couple hundred dollars, by Grossinger Hyundai in Lincolnwood. I have been kind, as I have not yet rated them, and my rating would probably be deleted due to the severity and nastiness it would contain. You talk about total incompetence, extremely poor - almost non-existent customer service, especially with tier service department, it leads me to believe that the positive ratings they display have been bribed and/or enticed in some manner.Going back to Gregory, as I mentioned I still to this day regret not buying my car from them!! However, after several extremely less than poor service experiences with Grossinger, (whom now does not offer loaner cars, even though promise them at point of purchase) - I changed to Gregory for all my servicing needs.Not only am I treated like I purchased my car with them, I receive the same type of customer service, dedication, information, and friendly "Total Experience", I was used to, as when I was a high-end luxury Audi car owner. I have no "Idea" what happened in the past to the few people whom gave Gregory a poor rating, but they should go back and evaluated it once again. I think whatever went wrong in the past, was reflected upon, and/or was not a fair reflection. I feel strongly about this, as I am a pretty picky person when it comes to "The Total Customer Service Experience", and "The Value" of what the savings of buying a car at the wrong dealership for the savings of a couple of hundred dollars, "Can Really COST You"!!!!In closing, there is NO One in the Service department whom will steer you wrong!! They are all awesome. You will be taken care of by Either of the two employees named: John, or Mary. I can guarantee that you have NEVER experienced the type of customer service, friendliness, informational help and collective savings perspective which can both save you money and keep your Hyundai running like new!As for on the front-end (Sales), I have been eying a couple of new vehicles recently and have been Dealing with the sales group, specifically Aaron the salesman, and both Nick and Kevin in Sales Management. As I mentioned, I am the type of customer whom takes my time, does my research and reflects before taking any action. With that said, I have recently experienced nothing but patience, friendliness, insightful recommendations, and the best "Non-Pressure", Sales Customer Service I have "Ever Experienced", even with my many years with Audi!So if you want to feel like you are buying and maintaining a Rolls Royce, go to Gregory Hyundai. I feel this strongly about my experience with them, to have registered and documented my feelings and experience with Gregory. I normally do not do such online personal input, but in the case of Gregory wanted to make it "For the Record".Please Learn from my experience, "And DO NOT BUY FROM GROSSINGER HYUNDAI", you will regret it, especially after you roll off the lot and have to take it to service, if you are even lucky to fit your car into the hazardous drive through to pull into the service Bay.Remember to ask for Nick the Sales Manager to either be assigned to the right salesperson for you and your needs, (or) either to provide you the service directly if you have special needs.Sincerely, Joe E

I was looking for a used elantra and came back to Gregory Hyundai 3 times. Frank Torres was very patient with me. What I liked was the fact that he did not follow me around and allowed me and my son and daughter to peruse the cars with no pressure and insistence on his being able to help us by answering questions. He let us roam and then asked if he could help or offer more info on cars we might be interested in. My son says they (Frank and Kevin) were very straight forward and nice salesmen with which to deal. Frank took his time in explaining the details of our transaction and Kevin did so as well. We agreed that Frank and Kevin actually dealt with us as real people (and they behaved liked real people - not the usual used car salesman caricature. Kevin, I hope the news is good on Monday, and my rate is really lower! From our experience with Gregory Hyundai (Frank Torres and Kevin) we would highly recommend them and the dealership to friends. I had a horrible experience at this dealership. They had no respect for my time spending hours going back and forth between the salesman and the manager to conduct negotiations. To make matter much worse, after finally agreeing to my price they added on an extra $700+ by charging the destination fee on top of the price negotiated for the car. We had started the negotiation from the sticker price that already included the destination fee. You can see how that is a dishonest trick to try to give the customer the impression that they are getting a better deal then they are. I ended up not buying a car from them because they were disrespectful and clearly trying to take advantage of me as opposed to make me happy. I would never recommend that anyone ever go to this dealership.

I'm surprised at the negative ratings for this dealership, as my experience could not have been much better! I visited several times to test drive 2 different car models, and when it came time to talk numbers, Keith gave me a great price without any pressure at all to "buy today" -- as some other dealers did. I contacted him several times with questions, and he answered them all, still with no pressure. I confirmed everything and came in to make the purchase - and at that point I was offered a very fair price for my trade-in, and we completed the transaction. The finance person was exerted some pressure to purchase the extended warranty, but he did not go overboard. I wanted to purchase a couple of accessories for the car, all-weather floor mats for winter and an iPod cable, and they were both in-stock and fairly-priced. I'm very happy with the vehicle I purchased, which was a 2010 Hyundai Sonata GLS, I'm very happy with the price, and I was even more pleased that the whole process was done fairly and pressure-free.

This dealer has a bad rep from the Mauro days of owning the huge auto mall in Kenosha (my personal experience included). He put his kid Greg in charge of this one and it is more of the same. We test drove a car with a sales guy who knew little about the cars he was selling. When we got back the sales manager was sneaking around behind us and glaring at the salesman. I went back a second time and it was more of the same. I was talking to the sales guy outside and there is the sales manager sneaking around behind me interfering with the salesman and ruining any chance of a sale! Long live the reputation I guess?

This was absolutely THE most negative experience I've ever encountered with a car dealership. My daughter and I arrived to look at a used car from cars.com. The car had been sold, but they had another. We were interested in a 2007 Jeep Compass. Greg Brodsky introduced himself, I knew his mother- we thought we were off to a good start. Keith the salesman had no clue which car was which; we told him. We went for a test drive, then came back to talk numbers. Keith and Greg were jumbling numbers back and forth and asking us to "sign a note of intent" on the back of a piece of paper if they could get the payment down to what I was comfortable with. They then asked for my credit card to show that we were serious. When Greg arrived at EXACTLY my comfort price, he said he wasn't sure if the owner was going to accept it, but that he'd try. They continously pushed me to make a final decision. I said I needed to go to lunch, and Keith offered for us to drive it to lunch. He called halfway during lunch, saying someone else was interested in the car. By the end of lunch, decided to take it, and walked back into the dealership ready to make a deal. Greg looked at us and said, "We just sold the car to someone else." I thought he was joking- I still had the keys in my hand. After a moment of absolute shock, I asked him to explain- he said- someone offered more. I got up to leave- and he said, "Well, maybe we can make it work, but you have to pay $1000 more...I said that wasn't what he had quoted- and he blew it off, saying it was too bad- that the owner never confirmed the price. I was in total shock......Told them their policy was just bull. About ten minutes later, I called the owner, and said- I'm the woman who was just in there about your Compass. He said, "Yeah, I've already heard your story." I reiterated that he did not hear it from me- and he blew me off- each time I tried to explain what this felt like, he interrupted me- so many times I actually screamed at him to stop talking. He was dismissive and beligerant to me....and told me that the salesman Keith had tried to take the car back from me during lunch, and I had shooed him away. This was a bold lie! He had never found me at lunch- he called and asked when we were coming back. He also said Keith had told me to take it for 10 minutes- another lie. My daughter and I left and went to South Oak Dodge in Matteson, IL. I have not bought a car yet, but their ethics were in place and could not have been more straight forward. I would not, under ANY circumstances, trust or do business with ANYONE at Gregory Auto.

The salesman, Bill, was not particularly knowledgeable, tho a nice enough fellow. But when it got to the price part, Pete, the manager, appears--and the deal was off. He wouldn't give me a straight answer about a price. He told me to shop around and then I'd come "begging" back to him. Sorry, Pete, I don't beg for a car. I advise anyone to stay away from this dealership. They have alot of inventory,but do not know they basics of customer service, or common courtesy. Greg Brodsky raised the price he quoted me over the phone. I still bought the car as they had what we needed and we needed the car. I reget it every day. Even though they knew what car we wanted and the price it took the 6 hours to complete all the paperwork. They never went over all the features of the car. Greg never thanked us instead was very cold to us after he made the sale. The finance guy Peter Denbroeder was fine that day however he forgot to have us sign the credit report. Instead of calling us and saying he was sorry and asking us to come back. He called us 3 weeks later said WE forgot to sign them. Then told his boss it took 3 weeks to get ahold of us because we told him we were waiting for an insurance check. Total lie! When I confronted Pete about the insurance check he still did not appoligize instead was extremly rude to me. I talked to the President Greg Mauro about all this. He said sense you liked your sales man Bill Schlentz make sure you give us a good review on your hyundai survey because it only reflects on him. He also gave me a generous FIVE DOLLAR GIFT CERT for fudruckers. He totally stands behind this rude and unprofessial behavor of his sales manager. He does not seem to belive in customer service after he gets his money!!! Please be very careful dealing with Greg Brodsky. The only nice guy there was Bill Schlentz.

They are liar... Can't trust them what they tell you... they offered me price through email in writing. When i schedule appointment and visit then they didn't have car color they told me they have in stock. They refuge to sell the car at a price they offered me. They are looking for serious law suits.

This dealership has a sales manager, Greg Brodsky, who has very questionable ethics. They do the bait and switch. We were to the point of having a deal and being ready to write a check when Greg said "thats not the price." He is a bad apple and then the dealership management stands behind him. Be careful with this company
