I have been bringing my Kia Optima back to Brunswick Kia for oil changes every since I purchased my car over a year ago. I can say that the Service Specialist Maurice is a very knowledgeable and amiable guy. When ever Maurice is there, he gives me a straight forward answer to all of my questions without any run arounds. He keeps me informed about the maintenance performed on my vehicle as well as any future maintenance that may be needed (ie:changing my tires, filters). He has never suggested any bogus repairs. Finally, a service department that doesn't try to take advantage of their consumers.I am VERY HAPPY with my Kia Optima from Brunswick KIA. Their service is A1 from the sales department to the service department. I have recommended friends to buy from Brunswick Kia. If you'd like a reliable car, with no sales reps breathing down your neck, Brunswick KIA is the way to go!

I was dreading having to go car shopping, but my car was on its last leg. I had no savings to put towards a new or used vehicle and my credit wasn't all that great. What is a girl to do? On a whim, I heard of Gateway Kia, close friends recommend checking them out. After some research and much thought, I decided to make the plunge! BEST DECISION EVER! Mike, Garrett, and Meg were all so helpful and honest, I never felt pressured. They kept it realistic and helped me leave with a car that day! They went above and beyond to make sure I had the most painless experience, and the best possible deal! Highly recommend. I left with a beautiful new Kia Optima and a huge smile. I felt like family! Leased a 2017 Kia Sportage from Mike. The finance department was overwhelmed with paperwork, which mine was missed printed on the day of purchase and I drove away not knowing until 2 days later when I received a phone call that I had to go back to resign the paperwork . Mike and Sal did reimbursed me for the toll and they did fill my tank up with gas. Overall everyone was nice but when you have a big sale you need some help in the finance department so paperwork doesn't get missed printed.

Turned in my 2013 KIA Optima off of a lease, Mike the salesman was not pushy but he didn't have too much knowledge of the 2016 KIA Optima that I was buying. The finance dept was overwhelmed by the amount of paperwork that the customers that were buying the new cars, had to fill out. It turned into a four hour ordeal. Came in at 12:30PM left 4:30PM.

I had been to a few other car dealerships before I went to Kia and I have to say it was by far the best. They genuinely cared about me and what worked best for me. They showed me exactly the cars I wanted and didn't pressure me into buying anything until I was ready. When it came down to my monthly payments (I'm a recent college grad) they were very understandable and helpful. Felt like family more than anything! Great place!

When I inquired about leasing a Kia I was told they had to speak with their manager and get back to me. No one ever got back to me so I did a deal with another dealer. I will not recommend Gateway to any of my friends and relatives..........very poor customer service!!!!!!!

So on Monday 4/20 I brought my car in to have service, I have had the car for 3 month brand new and the Ready light was flashing and I would lose power. They told me the electronic water pump needs replacing, I ask the service guy if I could get a loaner car and he told me that they don't have any. I went and spoke with my saleman. After awhile he came and told me that I could rent a car and then I would have to go threw Kia to get reimburse. I told him no and said that when buying the car he told me that they have a loaner car. he made some calls and finally they gave me a car. It amazes me that after buying 3 cars from them, that I have to fight to get a car. I got the impression that this is thier standard operations, on giving a loaner. If this happen to you fight for waant they promise. This will make me think twice about buying another car from them again

I have an older Pontiac with fairly low mileage, that I owe about $2000 more than it's worth. They were aware of this, I had been e-mailing/talking to them on the phone and they assured me they could help me. I had a prior bankruptcy, so my credit is not great- but it's much better. When I arrived they wouldn't even look at my car, they basically told me "they don't make pontiac anymore, it's useless and what do I expect them to do with it". They also suggested that I "give it back to the bank." That's pretty insane to suggest someone let their car get repossessed. Go somewhere else, They are a complete waste of time. No dealer should EVER tell someone to let their car get taken back to the bank and start over. They claim they can help everyone! Yeah, not true.

I was looking for a new Sportage, and they were given my email and phone for a quote. It is interesting that they are the only dealer that doesn't have prices on their website. They emailed me with an offer of $5,000 off the lot sticker price, or $5,000 more than book on my Trade in, or $5,000 match on the down payment. Having checked online and other dealers prices I figured it would be interesting to at least see how their lot prices, I mean $5,000 should cover a lot of sins, but when I went in I found out why they do this. They first off claimed that the email wasn't valid, and secondly all the prices were at least $5,000 over comparably equipped Sportage's at other dealers. Then they tried the high pressure tactics to get you to buy. So much easier to buy at another dealer. Kia should revoke their franchise.

Sometimes I think they just call this dealership "Apology Kia" because they spend more time apologizing for errors, bad service or mistakes than they do helping you get what you need. I leased a Sportage one year ago. They played games with numbers and told us that based on our credit we qualified for 679 per month 5000 down for the Sportage. We have Triple AAA credit, credit manager apologized (1) Because of being short staffed in their credit department and a misrepresentation of the situation I say in the dealership for almost 7 hours (apology 2). We negotiated heated seats with the car and they kept breaking appointments even after the car was brought in based on (again) being short staffed (apology 3 & 4) Key got stuck in ignition and sales rep told us to lock door with other key even though cars haven't worked that way in 15 years. He argued with us and told us "tough luck". Manager had to apologize (5). Brought car in for service, said they would have it ready in two hours, they had it for two days (apology 6). Lease agreement said they had loaner cars, we had to fight to get one. Service Manager apologized (7). They called us last week and told us they wanted us to come in for a new car because they opened a new dealership and we qualified for a new car. Said we could get same or better car for same price, Confirmed repeatedly (no addtl money down). We go to dealership and they run the same game on us 679.00 per month. We asked why they misrepresented themselves on the phone and manager apologized for wasting our time (Apology 8). I have owned many cars in my life and I am used to car salesmen but this dealership is the worst I have been too in my 20 years of buying cars. The product is good, the dealership is bad. It looks nice and they present themselves well but underneath the high shine is poor service, game playing and ultimately apologies for poor service.

I visited Gateway KIA to purchase a KIA Optima SXL in Black. I studied prices on the Internet before shopping. These guys are just not competitive with their prices. The cars are a commodity after all. They are all the same no matter where you buy it. I was horrified by the prices at Gateway KIA. When I heard the initial shot they took at me, I ran out as fast as I could. I am a fair person. I expect a business to make a fair profit. I don't expect anything for free, BUT, why would anybody pay the CRAZY PRICES at this place. I went to Gateway as it was convenient to my home, but, I'm not overpaying by thousands of dollars just for convenience. I drove to the KIA Dealer in Freehold and made my purchase for the EXACT SAME Optima SXL for thousands less. No hassles or stress with my purchase at Freehold. Avoid Gateway KIA unless you want to pay thousands more than you need to.

This one of the worst experience in my life. First mistake....I went there alone. Second mistake, I stayed way too long. The deal took them over 5 hours. I showed up at 4pm and didn't leave till just after 9pm. By the time I left I felt like I was mentally exhausted. They ripped me off so badly. My credit was prestine and they said that they denied my credit but that they could try to put me on the 2nd tier credit which was a rip off for interest. Round and round. It was unbelievable. The Sales Manager is a creep. The salesman is obviously only there to get the sale - they say anything at the time to make you happy. They kept saying make sure you give us a "10" when you get the survey. I did not give them a 10. Honestly, I could careless where you go but if you want hassle free service, go anywhere else. This place was a joke.

Picture this: Their customer parking is right in front of their main doors and their floor to ceiling windows. As I'm pulling my car up to a spot right by the doors I can see 5 guys just staring right at me from behind the showroom windows, sizing me up, judging my age, current car, clothes, everything. I haven't even left my car yet and I felt intimidated already. It seems like they were making comments about me before even walking in. I almost wanted to pull back out and leave but this was my first stop out of a list to go car-shopping for the right price so I decided to give them a try. The chairs they had me sit in are aged and smelled. The only reason I noticed this was because it took them 20 minutes to get a car ready for me to test drive. If I knew it would've taken so long, I would've brought a book. They said it was in a second lot, then they said it had to be cleaned, and I asked why we can't just use one of the many cars just sitting in this current lot? They said test drive cars are different. Um, ok. The salesman even asked if I wanted a beverage and I asked for a water so he led me to a vending machine that dispenses bottled water at $1.25 each. It seemed like they were slow playing me because the financing guy got busy and they wanted to just keep me there. After spending a lot more time than I wanted there, I just left.

Recently bought vehicle from here (sales folks Florel, Mark) Tried some typical dealership tricks but selling process was fine overall including price. However, within a week, vehicle started exhibiting transmission problems. Upon contacting the dealer, their attitude was nothing but irritating and irresponsible. Imagine buying a "in perfect condition" vehicle that shows bad transmission within a week. They kept transferring my call from one dept. to the other without any resolution. Finally I had to bite the bullet and take the car to another dealer. Never will deal with these guys again. Buy any non-Kia vehicle from these folks AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!

It was an extreme pleasure to have met and worked with Vito Grippo. He made the experience one to remember. We had a nice test drive. The process took quite a long time and since I came straight from work I didn't get to eat dinner so Vito ordered us a pizza (excellent pizza). Honest, friendly and No BS!! I spoke to a few dealerships and I was given the usual sales BS from several shark-like car salesmen trying to make a buck. However, I kept shopping around on-line and calling dealerships until I found Gateway Kia of North Brunswick and then life became simple. This is my first brand new car buy ever. I was extremely nervous, but all the staff at Gateway Kia off North Brunswick from receptionist to sales person were friendly, customer-service oriented and eager to provide me with whatever I needed to find the right car at the right price. I already knew the car I wanted so I just needed a couple of estimates and about a million questions answered. No matter how many times I called, no matter how many emails went back and forth, and no matter how nervous and nearly impossible at moments I was to deal with, this dealership was unbelievably friendly, utterly patient and superbly efficient. Their refreshingly candid and non-pushy sales approach was worth my driving an hour and 44 minutes. I highly recommend Gateway Kia of North Brunswick to anyone that wants to be helped and not pushed to buy a car, to anyone that needs service and not attitude and mostly to anyone that just needs a dealer that has integrity and is straightforward. First, the price posted online was about $2,500 more than the price on the sticker in the lot. When we sat down to talk numbers, they tried to tell me that that was an old promo and that price no longer applied. When we tried negotiating a better price the deal was almost ruined. The salesman were great and helpful but the management were rude and made the experience very unpleasant. If i didn't love the car I found on their lot, they would not have gotten my sale.

When we came to New Brunswick KIA to look for our first new car we were nervous, excited and just wanted to get good deal and not deal with what we thought was the typical "car salesman", what we got exceeded our expectation and so much more. Our car salesman was Vito Grippo and he was friendly and kind and made us feel comfortable and at home. He told us stories of his family which were amusing and allowed us to relate to him on a personal level which I find comforting in a sales person. In April of 2012, I went with my Kia Rondo to get it fixed. When I first went there, the people there welcomed me and were very hospitable. The work was professional and very good. I felt the need after to thank them for their great service and hospitality. I would highly recommend going to this dealer to get your car fixed. This dealer quotes prices off DEALER POSTED price. This is borderline fraudulent. The dealer posted price is about $5,000 over sticker for adding some dealer installed options. Negotiating was a bigger hassle than I expected. I liked the salesman but negotiating with the sales manager almost ruined the sale.
