I have purchased many cars in my lifetime, but I must have saved the worst for last. I have never dealt with car company that would verbally agree to a purchase price and concessions and then changed it without telling you. They told me they were having problems with their computer accepting portions of the agreement and they had work to get the computer to accept it.. I was told the figures would not make sense in some areas, but not to worry as it would all workout. Once I noticed the changes, I tried to get answers , but I actually had a sales manager, pick up all the paperwork walked away and accused me of trying to steal more money from them. Finally, they told me their bottom line. Verbal contracts to them mean nothing... you signed it, so live with it. That's how they handled and explained why I was paying more for the car than I had agreed to. Do not trust these people, have them put everything in writing with their signatures. They really do not give a xxxx about their customers....buyer beware

Bought my 350 here used. (convertible) The conv. top warning light came on, brought it for service and after fumbling with it for an hour was told they didn't work on the tops. A few weeks later the top peeled back like a sardine can at 65mph. They denied any responsibility. Love my 350 and would like to upgrade to a newer model, but not at this dealership!

I've taken my 2010 Nissan Sentra to this dealership for approximately two or more years now. I did not purchase the vehicle there. The service members and the sales staff have never treated me with anything but respect and dignity. As they are a licensed dealer, the price of their maintenance is a little more expensive, but so far has been top notch. I have not one time felt like they were trying to "hustle" me to make more money. In fact they went out of their way to give me a better deal when I purchased a new set of tires and had some other work done. I plan on having my maintenance done there for many more miles, and when the time comes, trade in my car there and purchase a new one.

I have bought my last three cars from Shawn Becton at Eastern Carolina Nissan. He is the best salesman in New Bern. I would recomend him to anyone that is looking to purchase a car without the high pressure.

Shawn at Eastern Carolina Nissan made it a pleasure to buy my new car this time. They started out kinda high but it didn't take long for them to get to the payment that I had to have to buy the car. I love my 2008 Nissan Altima!! Thanks Shawn :)

We were looking for a Nissan Altima and found exactly what we were looking for at the New Bern Nissan location. We spoke with Harry and made an appointment to see the car. We thought that the Altima was the car for us but when we got to the dealership they showed us a Nissan Maxima that we fell in love with. They were able to make the Maxima work with our budget. We are very pleased with the way our deal went down and will reccomend this dealership to our friends.

Shady; probably not illegal, but shady. Typical car salesmen tactics except without the product knowledge. Pushy! Dont give them your car or any "good faith" money youll never see any of it again. The customer should not have to be an expert on the vehicle on the car buying process. Bottom line: shop ANYWHERE else but here.

Based on my service with this dealership, I'm not quite sure why this dealership has an internet department. I would have been ready to make an offer over a week ago if I would have been afforded the courtesy of prompt return phone calls and/or email responses to my questions. I had many questions since I live out of state & was planning to purchase without seeing the vehicle. 6 days later...still no return phone calls or emails...not even a courtesy call telling me that they are in the process of selling this vehicle...and in the meantime, the vehicle is still listed on their website! Then I finally get a hold of Chris at the dealership & he told me to forward my questions to him. I forwarded the questions to him & the only response I received from him the very next morning at 8:25am SHARP is "we have a down payment from someone local & they are paying in full on Friday". Really? Don't tell me you didn't know that when I spoke to you the night before (esp when your business doesn't open until 9:00am and you sent me an email at 8:25am!)!!! I'm not sure they realize this, but it is bad business practice not to return phone calls or emails!!! I work in a industry where word of mouth is everything...how they handled this situation, is NOT good business practice...they seem "too busy" to take time to make sure you have your questions answered. If the internet sales people would have sped up the process of answering my questions, I would most likely have the vehicle I was looking at. If they are too busy to phone or email back, give me another salesperson to work with or hire more people! Bad business practice!!! In fact, the original salesman that I worked with has NEVER called me back to tell me that the vehicle has sold. Shame on you Harry!
