John Long is the best sales representative there! Can’t remember the managers name, but he is also awesome(wears cowboy boots). No matter what I needed and when, they have always “delivered”. I’m on my 3rd car from there, so not a “one time deal” type of place. Great customer service!

I just moved to Fort Jackson and was in need of a new truck. I had no time to waste trying to find a great price due to limited funds after my move across the country. I spoke with David McNance and told him my situation and he had me in a F-150 truck in less then an hour just like he said he would. This was the best experience in truck buying I've ever had. I can't say enough for their no pressure full transparency salesmanship. I would recommend him to anyone in need of transportation you will not be disappointed

I brought my car in because I heard a hard sound in my engine so I was getting it diagnosed to see what's the problem Tom the services advisor check me in I advice him that the sound I heard was coming from my engine ok they say it would take a couple of days to diagnosed so when they diagnosed the car it came back to be catalyict converter on my muffler so I paid 1400 hundred dollars to get replace because they say it was the problem and doing so I assume it was goin fix the problem so I save up 1400 got my car fix supposedly took them 30 mins to locate my car on the property so by the time I got it they where closing didn't really get to check the car out drove it for a couple of days the problem came back then eventually my number 5 cylinder blew from my car while I was on the way to take it back on the fourth day of supposedly getting fix so they tell me of we didn't have a way of knowing the engine was goin go unless we got this fix to see if it wasn't another major problem but if y'all say after y'all fix it n still here unusual sound from the engine but didn't let me know when I got the car would I really felt comfortable takin back off the lot the new engine plus service is 7500 which that's almost 9 grand of work on a car but my think is they don't care bout there customer to let someone drive off with issue still pending on the car and acting like everything is good so I definitely won't advise you using there service department because of the lack of customer caring when handling someone's vehicle and letting u drive off with an unsafe car without telling u about it

I took my car in because gor sputtering sound. I was assured it could be seen the next morning so we stayed in a hotel next door. When I got there they did it would be 6 days!!! The only thing they offered to do was fire the guy that said they could take it.

I purchased a Ford Focus from this dealership three years ago. I felt bullied by the car salesman and should have walked out immediately. Instead, I purchased a Ford Focus. It is a piece of junk. Within two weeks, the cars electronic system died and it took them over two months to fix it. Fast forward to about two and a half years later. The same part of the car died. The service manager informed me that this never happened, that he hadn't ever heard of it happening. I asked how it was possible that the same piece had died on mine twice? Apparently, it was a fluke. When I pressed further, he said he didn't build it and it wasn't his problem. I talked to a second individual and he also repeated the line, "I didn't build it." I find this disturbing. It seems to be the go to line at this dealership. This suggests that they don't think very highly of the product they are selling. Having spoken with someone with works at a car deanship, he said they should have at least my a courtesy call to the manufacturer to see if they would assist with the cost of the new part as I had already had to replace it once. Again, I got the "I didn't build it line."To top this all off, I asked Roger Neal, the service manager if the car would be finished by Monday. He said the car would be done today. I received a call that the part was damaged and it would take even longer than the original date Tom gave me. I would recommend both purchasing and servicing your car at another deanship.

I worked with Thedron Harris who was a terrific salesman. We ultimately did not purchase a vehicle from this dealership, but it was not for lack of effort by them. Thedron was up front, honest, and worked his tail off to earn our business. He was not pushy and understood exactly where we were coming from at all times. We'll certainly go back next time we're looking thanks to his efforts.

I have been shopping for a new vehicle for a few months, I had been looking at the Chevy Malibu and Cruze. But drove the fusion by chance while car shopping with my daughter and I fell in love with it. I didn't buy it that day, because I didn't care for the salesman and the dealership that I had gone to. So when I went in to Dick Smith, I was very happy was the way my husband and I were treated. So although I didn't get the exact exterior and interior color that I wanted. I still got a car that I love. I would definitely go back to Dick Smith.

My review/critisim of the Dick Smith Ford 2800 Two Notch Rd.(next to Burger King/Beltline) has been sheer torture mentally. The repair work has not been completed since my son truck was towed 07/19/12 from the Fort Jackson installation. Also it has sustained damage to the body at the shop. The truck is a Harley Davidson and my son is still in Afghanistan.. What can I do Mr. Smith to get his truck repaired ??? PLEASE help me!!!!!!!

Matthew McCullough is a professional in every sense of the word. He assisted me from start to finish with the purchase of my new vehicle. Hie professionalism did not end once I purchased my vehicle. Brought my new truck in for warranty. Had a speaker that was cutting out. Arrived 7:15a.m to be early, at open & wait our turn for good repair service; in a near first position. I was met by John Campbell. We explained the problem & he asked if we were going to wait on it where I replied yes. He did NOT suggest or ask that I leave the vehicle. He did ask if I purchased the truck there as one of the initial interview questions that they ask thier customers. It seems like it shouldnt matter if I bought the Ford there or at another Ford?... unless preferential treatment is given? I'm asked this whenever I bring a vehicle here? Regardless, our vehicle was removed from the greet lane to the parking lot in the rear directly where I could see it from the customer lounge. Arriving at 7:15 & waiting until 10:, John now came into the lounge to get another customer thier car. John came to me & said that they were finding shorts in wiring & were working through it but it would get fixed. This lie puzzled me because my truck remained parked where I could see it without anybody working on it. However, I am not confrontational & did not call him a liar. I figured that this was par for service at Dick Smith Ford like it had been in the past with my prior Ford's & that he was just trying to appease us since we had been waiting 2 1/2 hours already without my car "really" being seen. I had given no indication that I was losing patience & had no obligations to be anywhere since I am retired. We had a luxury of time to get the repair complete. They took my truck into the tech from the lot at 10: & then returned it to me at 10:30 in the exit lane after working on it for only 30 mins? John said, "we need more time with it". We found a short but need more time to "diag". I was confused. I gave no indication that we needed to leave. We had invested 3 hours already for service. How much longer would it take to figure it out at this juncture with panels already off which would have been fine even though I knew "hours" had been lost with my truck parked & lied to about it. I have other cars to leave my vehicle for service if necessary. Dick Smith was giving me my vehicle back; un-repaired; because they needed more time; but they were exiting us from the shop, due to thier time limits? I asked John to clarify still not confronting him that I knew they only had it for 30 mins & it previously sat in the back lot for 2 hrs & 30 mins. He provided no receipt or check out though I signed my name to an invoice upon checking in the vehicle & just said we can leave. Is this a scam to charge Ford for warranty labor that didnt really get done? After digesting, I called the Manager, Scott, as I was driving to the other dealership across town to check my car in for the same repair. Again, I had nothing but time to get repairs done & just needed service to put it to closure. I didnt calculate that I would invest 3 hrs of time & then get turned out onto the street with repairs incomplete after being lied to that my car was being worked on. If they needed more time that was fine but dont exit me. Scott, the manager called me back just as I was checking in at the service reception of the other Ford dealership. In disclosing this, "he validated my assessment as being true". He saw our time escalate as we waited, possibly in the computer that tracks service times? Maybe, thier time performance gets tracked by Ford or for bonus. He stated that John should have asked us to leave our vehicle for electrical whereby John had not. Scott also validated that John had lied. I appreciated that Scott owned the responsibility of this POOR experience. Since I didnt arrive at the next Ford location until almost 12 I had now lost an early spot of being early & first for service. The day was lost. I left my truck at the other dealership &overnight where my tardy arrival puts me in place for morning service

My salesman Nathan Beard was a pleasure to work with. He got my request for quote from the Internet and called me in 5 minutes. He ask me a little about my trade and I told him all he needed to know. He made me a trade offer over the phone and gave me a sales price on the truck I had selected. I got to the Dealership by 4:00PM. He had all of the paperwork ready and all he needed was my signature. By 5:15 and hour and 15 minutes I was on my way back home in a new 2012 F150. This was by far the quickest transaction I have ever made on a trade and purchase in my life. He had told me over the phone that they meaning the Dealership don't play around with the waiting game. They call it as they see it and the deal in made. I would highly recommend this Dealership and Nathan Beard as a salesman to work with over any other dealership in the Columbia SC area. As he said they don't play around and I am a testimony to that.Great job and keep up the good work Nathan and Dick Smith Motors.

Kyle Willson, with Dick Smith has always been professional, polite and fair. A huge difference from what I experienced from another local Ford service department. When I first contacted Kyle he worked to get the previous warrantee work covered at Dick Smith. I met Eric Basiliere on an early week morning and told him I needed a car for my daughter, told him the price range and he pointed us out to our selection that would meet our budget. Robert Hiller at the Ford Dick Smith store on two notch rd in Columbia SC was an excellent salesman! I purchased a Ford Mustang and he really took time to find the car for me! Experience was really great at this dealership. I was greeted promptly and in no way pressured. I was just looking at first, wanted to test drive possibly, and the salesman just let me move at my own speed. His name was Nathan and I will thank him again. Selection was amazing, from cars to trucks and the New Explorer, which my wife will be coming to test drive next month. High Praises from this previous Chevy owner.

Came in when I was in a bind, had to get out of a car that I owed significantly more on than it was worth. They worked with me and pulled out all the stops to find a way to get me out from under that top heavy loan, into a good car, and with a good financing deal. Very professional, very down to earth. These guys are regular guys and they aren't just about putting you in a car, they're about helping you figure out what is the best for you, both practically and financially. Ronnie Walrath was very helpful, and Chad Weeden is by far the best finance officer I have ever worked with.

My wife and I were looking to trade in our older Expedition for a bigger and newer one which we found at Dick Smith. My wife had found a 2007 Expedition EL with about 11000 miles on it. We decided to buy and Chad Weeden did an excellent job setting up the trade in value and also talked us into the extended warranty that initially I did not want but my wife did. This proved to be a very good purchase as we later(about 1week) found out that certain electrical problems existed with the DVD player, the radio and the CD player. The extended warranty covered all of these costs which was a godsend. This was my second purchase in less than a year at Dick Smith Ford and definitely won't be my last.

Ronnie met us in the parking lot, asked if he could help us. He was smiling and pleasant throughout the time we were there. He showed us the ccars we asked to see and explained features of each. He showed me the service area and explained that they could also service my F650 pickup (with Cummins diesel). Chad had researched interest rates at several lending institutions and when I asked if he would check at my bank he happily did so and got lower rate. As we were leaving he came out of his office to tell us the bank had sent him aneven lower rate and he had already made the necessary adjustments to the paperwork. Ronnie also introduced Matthew McCullough who said he would be glad to help us anytime we could not get in touch with Ronnie. It was a pleasure to do business at Dick Smith Ford as everyone there, even those not working directly with us seemed happy and cheerful, even giving my granddaughter a bag of popcorn. My wife has had service and body repairs on her Lincoln MKZ there so I am confident that we will be frequent and very satisfied customers.

I visited Dick Smith to purchase a new Mustang. I worked with Chad Weeden and Mike Major to make the purchase. From the time I walked through the door I was treated fairly and given a great price on the car without any haggling. They both took the time to make sure I was extremely satisfied with the car and have since checked in with me to make sure I am still enjoying my Mustang. Because of their great customer service, I returned to Dick Smith twice after I purchased my car to buy both my children used cars. On both occasions, we found cars that were on other Dick Smith lots and Chad and Mike were quick to make arrangements to have both cars delivered to their location so we could look at them. I bought my daughter a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee and my son a 2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse. Both cars were in fantastic shape and Chad and Mike made sure when we drove them off the lot they were clean, detailed and that the minor body imperfections we found had been taken care of. I would definitely go back to Dick Smith for my future car needs.

Very happy with my experience at Dick Smith Ford. I have recommended Roger and his team to several of my friends and family members. Roger worked to find in his inventory what I was looking for and had it ready for me immediately. Pricing was great as was the service from the employees of the dealership. I will buy my next vehicle from Roger and Dick Smith.

Gabe was wonderful, I came in looking for a new Fiesta and he was helpful, knowledgeable and approachable. I really appreciated all the help he has given me and I would recommend him to anyone. Gabe Flores made the dreaded initial trip to the dealer a pleasure. I did not expect to find a salesperson with as much patience, kindness, knowledge and professionalism as Gabe. Truly an asset to Dick Smith's sales force. I live in Greenville, but will return to Dick Smith in Columbia when I purchase because of Gabe.

I bought my Hyundai at Dick Smith in Greenville, but Jud Smith offered to service it in Columbia b/c it is more convenient to my home/work. They stock my oil filter that my service is quick! Scott Fairey's team is very professional and provide attention to detail, like cleaning my car and balancing my tires properly. I appreciate the extra effort Dick Smith Ford's service and parts department give to make my experience positive. Thanks again guys!

Mathew an Ronnie I will recommend as the go to dealers to work with at Dick Smith. These two young men were very up on thier game and made the drive from Greenville to Columbia worth doing to purchase the car. I can not say enough good things about these two young men except keep up the great job.

Mr. Hiller approached me when I arrived on the lot in a very professional manner and demonstrated the type customer service that I was seeking. He had the mannerism of an honest and patient gentleman; and answered all of my questions to my satisfacton. He willingly negotiated the terms and conditions in order to make me feel comfortable until we reached a concensus. After the sale, Dick Smith Nissan and Mr. Hiller stood behind their product with excellent service and continued customer service that I still appreciate.

I visited this Dealership just by chance because I could not find the truck that I needed and wanted. Low and behold, this dealership worked tremendously hard to help me to find a truck. Better than that, this dealership found a truck that thrilled me tremendously -- a white "Toyota Tacoma, 4X4, Off-the-road, & White"! I bought it!! Thank God! The salesman that sold me this vehicle was Mr. Robert Hiller. I thank God for Mr. Hiller and my Toyota Tacoma.

A relative recommended Mr. Robert Hiller. I called Mr. Hiller informing him that I was looking a Nissian Truck. Mr. Hiller wasted no time in finding me the perfect truck. He called me back the same day and offered to bring it to me, but I told him I was in the area and would come by. Mr. Hiller was friendly, honest and very professional. Mr. Hiller has my highest recommendations, I would be glad to recommend my family and friends to him.

I was working with another dealership in town for two weeks trying to buy a Mustang and kept getting the run-around. I then noticed a new Mustang in the parking lot where I work. I talked to the owner and he raved about how good he was treated by his salesman, Nate Beard, at Dick Smith. I called Nate that same day. He found me the Mustang I was looking for within 5 minutes and quoted me a GREAT price, which was much less than the other dealership I was originally working with for two weeks. I wound up buying the car the very next day! Nate had all the paperwork ready so I was in and out in under 20 minutes. From the first time I talked to Nate he treated me with respect and was honest and up-front about everything. He did everything he said he would! If you are looking for a Ford vehicle I would HIGHLY recommend you call Nate.
