Customer service was top notch. Great experience. The service was very accommodating. I got a lot of work done and they got it done very quickly. Ever since I bought my Honda from this dealership. Fast and quick service. waiting though for the $25 gas card to be sent to me. They were not in stock when I brought my car in for service. You should not have the offer if the "promotion" material is not in stock. I was told however that it would be mailed soon.

Right in at 7:30, waited moments for service manager. Explained why I was there he answered all of my questions and then some. Showed me the waiting room, where they have a tv, coffee, etc...Both shop and waiting area very clean. As I said, pleasant and fast, I was out in about 35 to 40 minutes.Also very easy to get to.I will continue to go there for my service.

I had a 7:30 am appointment for an oil change. I called at 11:30 am to see if my car was ready which it was not. It was ready at 12:30. I hope it wouldn't take that long for an oil change if I was waiting at the dealer for it. Luckily I dropped it off the night before. My service rep was great ...

I ws a walk in on Saturday morning. Car had a reall for software affecting trnsmission. I also needed oil. They said they would need two hours. Actually they finished a littlefaster. Everything was fine. The complimentary hot chocilate and muffins and free wi fi added to the eperience.

Brought my car in October 13th for routine service (Oil, filters etc) Told the service adviser that inaddition to the regular service (19,500) that I would like the tires rotated. He indicated that theywould check the alignment and the balance. Told him I thought the alignment was fine, the car wasnot pulling or anything of that nature. After an hour an a half got the car back, looked at theinvoice and no rotation of the tires was done. This was the main reason I brought the car there. I guess,I'll just stick to "Jiffy Lube" It only takes 15 minutes.

went to honda of nanuet on sunday sept 11th and i was looking for a honda pilot.met with a saleman and i told him i was looking for a honda pilot they had listed and he took me to it and made a copy of my license and put a dealer plate on and said see you when you get back.i asked aren't you coming with us.he said no.so my wife and i went on a road test.during the road test the front end felt loose and there was a noise when you hit passing gear.so we headed back to the dealer.whild i was parking the pilot back in the space i noticed a woman salesman with her arms crossed waiting for me to stop the vehicle.no sooner then i opened the door.she was in my face saying are you going to buy it.i told her that there was a looseness in the steering and a noise on acceleration and i wanted to speak with the salesman Hovic.meanwhile she was standing there asking me am i going to buy it.because she had a customer waiting,i grew quite annoyed.my wife looked at me and i said here are the keys.this was a red honda pilot.also i asked hovic where was the white honda pilot.he said if it is not here it is sold.well i later found out from the internet person.that it was at the warehouse.i had my plates with me and cash and was ready to buy.

I brought my Honda CR-V to Nanuet Honda for a safety recall.Honda ordered the parts for my vehicle and notified me to set up an appointmentwhen the parts came in. The service for my Honda was good. I did enjoy having to drop off my car inside the canopy with the service staff in booths. that is quite convenient. The service guy was nice quick and very accommodating. Pricing needs to be more competitive and no be a total rip off.

When my compressor went they did not work easily with my warranty company! Carchex an extremely well known, trusted company!Instead of paying $100 deductible total! I paid $184 and had to rent a car at my own expense! They kept saying it was because it wasn't a Honda warranty! Also on last oil change like other reviewers they did not reset oil change light which is unprofessional and insensitive! They make it seem like it's HONDA PRICE OR NOTHING! They have tried to charge me $50 for a $3 lightbulb! They sent me a recall saying improper paint was on my car from manufacturer and that they would fix it but that I would have to leave car for at least 7 days and Honda would not provide a rental! Even though it was Hondas fault! Richard A my service advisor was fantastic and honest but management tied his hands and made it impossible for him to give me great terms and service under my warranty! They turned him into the mean bad guy! Dominic kept saying the warranty company wanted him to lose money which he wouldn't do and that they r entitled to a 40 percent profit! I would get $25 express oil changes at this location but probably nothing else! Lastly it took from 2 days before Memorial Day weekend until 7/2/2016 before my car a/c was finally fixed!!!!

I went in on JUne 18th for a 115,000 mile checkup. I was told there was a problem with my tires and the alignment. Joe told me right away when the problem was told to him. He told me that it would be fixed and I could be on my way in a safe car. I truly appreciate how Joe cared about my safety and not just to fix my car for the money. I always come to Honda of Nanuet because they care and will do their best to fix my car.

I came from Long Island to lease my 2016 Accord Coupe. I was looking for a particular color in the Touring Coupe and saw one had just arrived at Honda of Nanuet. I called and Matt Berkowitz of the BDC department was very professional to deal with explaining that the car would arrive in 10 days or so and providing pricing. When picking up the car I was very impressed with the facility and the quick and painless way all of the paperwork was handled. I have been at dealerships for hours waiting to leave with my car in the past. Matt Sacks handled all quickly and efficiently. All aspects of the car were explained and the car was immaculate as well. I would recommend this dealership and only wish for me it was closer to home !!!

Had Saturday appointment. Emissions tests not ready. Told to drive car and come back Monday and will be taken right in. Came back Monday morning there was long line and was not allowed to get immediate service. Came back in afternoon and was out with 10 minutes. Annoyed that I had to come back but all's well that ends well.

Lisa handled my service request promptly and to my satisfaction. Thank you. Parts desk provided good service and cashiers were pleasant made sure all customers were being helped. Also, one of the technicians cut and programmed a new key and synched up the old key as well when there was a coding issue. Well done on a busy Saturday afternoon.

After buying a new car from this dealership, I needed to bring it back for additional accessories to be installed.After the first hiccup (dropped off the car for the appointment but the parts were never ordered), I returned in a few days when the parts arrived. Quick drop-off and excellent customer service.Second hiccup - one of the parts was not applied correctly as I was informed over the phone, so I was informed to leave the car overnight to have the part re-applied. I was told the car would be ready between 10 & 11am the next day, and it was.The car was picked up - all the work was done as expected. I was very pleased with the customer service and the work that was done.

I bought my Pilot here in 2005. I've gone for most major repairs for 281,000 miles. Always reliable and thoroughly professional. Always a discount given on repairs. Never had to return for a job not done. On long jobs, transportation home promptly given. Consistent customer relations and service from the Parts department on up. I can't think of a way to improve their service.

I was experiencing a problem with my CRV and was easily able to make a service appointment for the next day. Had my usual service adviser, Joe Sanserveri, who, never leaves me hanging all day to find out what is wrong and what needs to be done. This is always appreciated, and the fact he was able to have my car ready the same day was an added bonus. My experience was COMFORTABLE... minimal stress (except for cost...ha). We have 2 cars that go to Grand Prize dealership for service, which always is a nightmarish experience. Your service adviser, Joe Sansrveri and the service department are great!!

Fernando Forteza sold me my car and he was the most honorable, kind and helpful person. He was extremely accommodating to me. I came to your dealership to get an oil change because I recieved a coupon in the mail. I was impressed with the waiting are as well as the friendliness of the employees. I was expecting someone to come out and try to sell me an air filter or a belt which is very common in most oil change places. Nobody ever came for that reason. Good job DCH.

Car was diagnosed with a misfire in the (5th piston) engine. Another replacement of spark plugs was suggested and at this time appears to have solved the problem.

Came in at the end of November for problem related to battery. Car failed to start, dash board kept showing battery low charge. It was a new battery, but Michael Laterra decided to replace it anyway. I paid $135. Soon after that the same problem came back. In total, I had been back and forth at the dealer 6 times in about 1 month span, for the very same problem. Then, Mike told me they still did not know the problem, and in order for them to diagnose it further I would have to pay at least $500. Of course I said no. I wasted money and so much time and got nothing fixed. They couldn't even return my good battery they took the first time. I am not happy at all and will file a complaint with Honda and Better Business Bureau.

I had went to the Yonkers Honda service on Yonkers Ave and I had spoken to someone there who wasn't professional and not to mention he wanted to charge way more for the battery change as well as let me wait 3 hrs for the change. I went to Nanuet Honda and I was told that the change would take only 45 mins even though they had several customers waiting and also the cost was cheaper. They showed professionalism..Richard was awesome so is Tom the manager. The waiting area was clean. I would recommend Nanuet Honda, NY.

Buying a car can be a rough time. Especially when it's your first time and on a budget. Up until this point, dealing with various salespersons and dealerships have been more misleading and stressful than anything. Not these guys. I had an electrical issue - rear signal light burned out, and your technicians troubleshot the issue. It required sending away for a 'wire collar', in Ohio. Over the past ten years we have had three Honda CRVs from as many dealers. I have to say that doing business at Honda of Nanuet was the most positive experience of any. We felt that it was like buying a car from our cousins. Leon took us thru the purchase based on what we wanted and we felt he acted like our advocate as well as salesman. Our treatment from the technical people thru the management was first rate. Our experience with the financial person Marie, usually a trying experience, was just an extension of the friendly care. Overall, I like the improvements to the waiting area. As always, my car's maintenance was prompt and sure and the staff were polite, but when I attempted to find the mute button for the waiting room television--which no one was watching--an employee came up to me and told me that because "there are always people coming in and out," it must be left on. Studies have shown that a distracting environment makes people feel more bored, not less. People DID come in and out of that room during the hours I spent waiting for my car, the overwhelming majority of them were reading their own books, writing on their own notebooks or looking at their own devices. If even one of them had wanted to watch television, I would not have minded, but I don't need to be screeched at about makeup tips by someone who isn't even present in the room. Please leave out a remote that visitors can use to turn off the idiot box.

Their customer service sucks. First, they entice you and get your interest, but once they find a better candidate for their pockets, they blow you off. I had an appointment to go check out a car. I drove all the way from Connecticut approximately 2 and plus hours. Once there, I came with the surprise that the car was already sold. The Internet accounts manager Matthew Berkowitz whom I was speaking to since the start never bother to call to tell me that the car was already sold. Instead, he made me waste 2 and plus hours of driving to have one the salesperson tell me the was under a deposit. The manager's lousy excuse was that he had sent me an email notifying me of such sale. And, I had to hear such lame excuse from one of his salesperson because, he wouldn't even show his face. Dude, you could have call me and left me a voice mail. We were following from thd beginning via phone calls not stupid emails. Don't do business with these guys. They lack communication and character.

The dealership diagnosed the problem ( a loud rattle in the rear of the car) and although they did not have a replacement part (shock absorber) to fix the problem. My car is a Honda 2016 HRV- a new model car- they did fix the existing part ( shock- absorber) and the problem ( noise) went away. Hopefully the dealership will have 2 new shock absorbers this week and they can replace both shocks.I give credit to Joe Amodeo and the mechanic that worked on my car- at DCH Honda of Nanuet.This is my first Honda vehicle.A Fratello

I brought my Civic in for a NYS Inspection. My service advisor, Richard Alarcon, was very attentive to my concerns and pointed out that I also would need a tire rotation. I wasn't aware that I needed the rotation at that time, but was glad that he recommended it, as I always try to be aware of safety concerns. I was glad to see that Richard was concerned as well. That type of service spirit runs through the whole DCH Honda of Nanuet dealership.

Brought van for replacement air bag recall. Intended to drop off at night for them to work on next day. The service manager offered, since they only had one car being serviced at the time, to replace it almost immediately instead. I waited less than an hour and took my Honda home that night! Great option. Went into the showroom to ask about the CRV while I was waiting. Unfortunately, that salesman was not really enthusiastic or knowledgeable about the CRV vs. other cars I was considering. In fact, when the work on my Odyssey was finished, I got more helpful information from the service manager than I did the salesman. I'll go back there to test drive a CRV but will avoid the salesman I dealt with the evening of my service.

I am now one years old as a DCH customer. I am greatful for Lisa DiZenzo, Mark Stephenson & Mike. I purchased my car and solely took my car to DCH NANUET for services. Lisa has put me rentals, assisted with road side service and makes sure I am okay. Despite my many complaints of the car itself having several issues. Everything was fine, there was a little bit of a miss communication in getting approval to have work done. When I called to see if my car was ready, at least an hour after they said it would be done, they said it wasn't done and was waiting for approval. I think they forgot about it, when I think they should have tried harder to get in touch with me. I then had to wait longer to get my car back.Plus I think the parts and labor are very expensive.

After a long two weeks of training near Canada, losing my friend/fellow soldier and missing my family. I lost my keys to my car. I didn't realize this until I got to my car that was parked in Orangeburg NY. After all the training and heart ache I was feeling devastated. I had the car towed to DCH Honda of Nanuet. I made it there at 3:50pm on a Sunday. The parts department closes at 4pm. A woman by the name of Lisa DiZenzo saw me in uniform got on the loud speaker and said no one leaves until this guy gets what he needs. The crew at DCH didn't not hesitate. The level of professionalism and the dedication had me speechless. To Lisa and the guys in the parts department, oh and the lady in the cashiers desk lol thank you guys I'm for ever in your debt. I live in Manhattan but I know I will always be a loyal customer taking the ride up to DCH Honda.

This is the second Honda that I have purchased from Honda of Nanuet. Dan D'Angelo was our sales representative and he was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable about our Honda Accord and made sure to point out the new features (by the way loving the Bluetooth connection and that my text messages can be read from my Blackberry). I have brought my brother, sister and best friend also to Honda of Nanuet after I purchased my first Honda and they too walked away with a brand new Honda.

Nanuet Honda was the only dealership in my area that would give me an honest price online when I was researching new Honda Accords for purchase online. One dealership in Tenafly, NJ that I had bought two cars in the past from refused to give me a quote. They wanted the quote that I had gotten from anyone else and then they would beat it. So other dealers had to do the work of getting the quote to me and they could sit back and knock a few bucks off the quote. Some nerve. If you live in the area, don't go to Tenafly. Go to Nanuet.

Took 4 phone calls over three days to reach a service department person. Left messages on their machine as instructed that were not returned. When I got a person, they scheduled me to come in for an airbag inflator recall repair. Sent me several reminders which was fine but when I got there on the scheduled day, they didn't have the parts. Shouldn't they have known this when reminding me about my appointment? They called me to tell me the airbag for the passenger side was unavailable 15 minutes after I had left the car. They explained that they could not replace the driver's side by itself but had to do both together so I needed to pick up the car. When I returned to pick up the car, they were taking the car in to do one airbag but not the other so I ended up waiting for the car. Said they would call me when the other airbag inflator was available, which of course they never did. After waiting a few weeks and then trying to reach the service dept. by phone unsuccessfully, I finally stopped at the dealership and scheduled the other replacement. They had no comment other then they are busy for why they didn't call me when the other parts were available. I used to be happy with their service dept. but just don't feel too confident about them any more.

Killed over 2 hours this Sunday trying to get a salesman to come up with a price on a loaded CRV. We negotiated a price and then he wrote up a PO for 2K more, then slammed 200 for the Nitrogen tires in top. Hint - air is free. We walked out after major fatigue. I should have left after an hour, but I could really use a new car. Salesmen had no idea what his inventory was. I asked him why his website showed more cars and he did not know. Hours are supposed to be 11-4, but at 11:15 the doors were still locked.

The entire experience is always consistently efficient & friendly. The longest time I've spent waitingis 1 hour 30 mins and everyone is very accomodating & knowledgeable. Going to Honda of Nanuet is a tradition passed onto me by my family. They have been going there for years. I love that you can make an appointment, the staff is friendly, and they take your car right away. We have been seeing Dominick Garretson forever. In fact I travel an hour and a half all the way from Long Island to see him. He really is the best. He always goes out of us way to make sure my car is well taken care of and always responds promptly to any of our calls. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I have been servicing two Honda vehicles there for years. All was perfect. Recently I brought my car for a standard oil change and check of bearing wheels. I did notice new service people. After they replaced the oil they told me that the bearing wheels were not faulty (they were very noisy) and that I had top pay a diagnostics fee. Which I argued. This never happened before. The dealer would tell you that this did not require service and end of story. Fine, I said, and took my car but only after 20 minutes because they could not find my car after the service! Two months later I noticed my oil pressure light would turn on sometimes during driving on curves. I brought it to mechanic. He found very little oil left and very used. He insisted that the oil was NOT changed for a long time! After the ownership change and after the service counselors were replaced, I do not go there any more. Similar situations happened recently to my two friends.

I just went for an oil change and I've never felt so comfortable at a service department ever. My wait was very minimal and my service coordinator was more than accommodating. I never felt pressured to get unnecessary work on my car. Dominick Garretson is a perfect example of what customer service should be. Dominick has a great personality and easy to talk to regarding your car. He doesn't give you the run around. I will from now on go to him for any servicing I need on my car. Very professional!

It was just an oil change, but they told me my oil was still at 40%. I knew that but told them to do that after this winter. When finished they let me know everything else was good on the car. They did not try to get me to spend any extra money. I was very satisfied

I have had the pleasure of working with Service Manager Dominick Garretson over the years and he is incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional. He takes the time to answer any and all questions, and always explains exactly WHY certain services are necessary. I've met several of the technicians, and one of them actually rode around the parking lot with me trying to diagnose a strange brake-related problem. I own a 2012 CRV and have been taking it to the dealer for service and repairs since we purchased it there. Because we were new to the dealership and the area, we didn't have a specific service advisor. We were randomly put in Dominick's care for our first oil change, and a recall. We were very pleased with his professionalism and the overall service by the technicians. He is friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. So much so, that now when we need any service or repairs, we call first to make sure he is in.

Was out looking one Sunday morning at car's and once I walked the lot at DCH and met some very informative people I knew I had to have my CRV. Travis was very patient and knowledgeable with all the questions I had with all the new things that are in cars these days and made it so easy for me to test drive and make my decision to say Yes to the Honda, and the day I came to pick the car up it was fast easy and painless and within a few minutes he as able to set up my Bluetooth and put me on my way to my very first brand new Honda!! Joe and Michael...my Honda guys!A couple of years ago I bought a brand new 2013 CRV that I really like and love driving. My salesman, Michael Morris, had a lot to do with my making my mind to buy a new CRV, basically because he wasn't pushy nor full of corny jokes. Instead Michael displayed confidence in the product he represents. He also worked out a very fair trade-in price for my Hyundai. The other person that has made my Honda experience very pleasant is Joe Sanseverino (Service Dept). It's a bit of a drive for me to bring the car to Nanuet Honda, but I don't give it a second thought because when I drive out of there, I leave knowing that everything required to keep my car running safe and looking great has been done. Joe is sincerely friendly and happily answers all my maintenance questions and I just trust him. Another nice thing about bringing my car for service is the great free coffee, snacks and little waiting time. It's a friendly atmosphere and I'm glad I bought my Honda at Nanuet.

I have been going to Honda of Nanuet for years. I have purchased two cars there, a 2010 Accord and 2011 Pilot with Dan D'Angelo, it was a pleasant and easy experience.As with all cars, after the purchase, the service department is what will win the day and determine if you will go back for the next purchase. The service department couldn't be better. To start, they have a drive-in service area that makes the arrival process simple and shields you from the rain, snow and cold. They also have a spacious and clean waiting with coffee, WiFi, and TV, so that the wait never seems long. For years, I have worked with Dominick Garretson. I'm always greated with a smile and a hand shake. I have found that he has been trustworthy and he takes the time to be sure that you understand the work that needs to be done. He listens to my comments and makes sure the technicians are clear on the problem. I never feel like I'm getting pushed into unnecessary service. And I never get any surprises on the bill. It is his service, and attention to detail that will make me a repeat customer and to continue to recommend this dealer to all of my friends.

I have been using honda service since I bought my honda in 1998. I have been dealing with Dominick Garretson for many years. There is no one like him. He is always friendly, caring, knowledgable, honest and very professional. Being a single female, and not knowing much about the car and what needs to be done, Dominick takes the time to explain to me what is needed and reassures me that it is done in a timely fashion. He takes a lot of the stress out dealing with these issues. On occasions I have had emergencies and he has taken care of the situation as quickly as possible. I always know and can trust that the work is getting done correctly. I. have been driving for more years than I want to admit and I can tell you that I have never met such a great guy who truly cares about what he is doing and the customers he deals with on all levels. This is a trait that you rarely find now a days. I have recommended many people to honda and will continue to do this because of Dominick. I recently moved to the area and needed to have an oil change and alignment for my 2012 Honda CRV. I was going to make an appointment at the Honda dealership that I usually deal with, but decided to give Honda of Nanuet a try since it was a lot closer. I was not disappointed. As soon as I drove my car up, I was greeted by Dominick Garretson. He asked what me what I needed done, took down my info, and told me it would take about 3 hours. From the moment I walk into the service department at DCH Honda of Nanuet and I'm greeted by Dominick Garretson, the experience is a real pleasure. From his warm smile to his reassuring tone, from his in-depth knowledge to his real concern, he takes the stress out of the whole experience. I was just there yesterday for a problem with my 2013 Accord that wouidn't start and needed to be jump started twice recently. He told me exactly what the problem probably was and assured me that it would be checked out promptly together with a multi-point inspection of the car, to make sure everything was up to snuff. I waited in the lounge, and within 30 or 40 minutes he was back in the lounge with the completed paperwork informing me that the battery was replaced with a new one, under warranty, and that everything else was fine. He also told me that my car was waiting for me indoors! What an experience! A pleasure dealing with Dom, as always!

I have been to Honda Service Depts from NJ all the way to Kingston and I have NEVER met anyone like Dominick Garretson at Nanuet Honda- there is not a question you can ask him that he wont take the time to answer fully - if he tells you something needs to be done on your car you know with 100% certainty that he is honest and knows what he is talking about- When you deal with him you will not be pushed into unnecessary work (like you get in other service departments) What he will do is tell you what you should do in the future on your vehicle - My husband has been very sick so he cant keep up with all the car issues anymore but Dominick has taken the burden off of us and I can just call and have him tell me what needs to be done- He is a true professional-But more than all the above he is a caring person who cares not just about your car but how you are doing- that is a trait rarely found in 2015- So needless to say we wont be bringing our car anywhere but to him- We are so thankful to him!!

I know that when I am told something needs to be replaced or it will be going soon I can rely on his word because of his honesty and integrity. I came to Honda of Nanuet looking for a CRV, and the whole experience was great. You know when you walk into a dealership and you feel like the staff is sizing you up - definitely did not feel this way. Second, I was unsure of what features i wanted as well as what I could afford and the sales person (Mike LaTerra) walked me through all of the features of the different models and helped me decide what I needed/wanted/could afford. It was all very easy and straight forward and Mike made my time there enjoyable- which I'm happy about because I was sort of dreading it. All in all I am happy and satisfied, I got a brand spankin new car- with everything I wanted in it, and I didnt break my budget. Thank You Mike! I can't say enough nice things. I don't normally write reviews but based on our experience with purchasing a new car from here I wanted to do what I could to help others avoid what we went through. If I could give them negative stars I would. We went in knowing that the car buying process is one of the most painful purchases you can make but this group does not have their act together I would not recommend it to anyone. From the sales guy who told me once we agreed on a deal that it would only take a few more minutes and we would get an agreement and could be on our way to return to sign all the papers because we had a 2 year old who was over an hour past her nap time only to not give us an agreement at all. For us to then return and be told it would take an hour to sign all the papers and two hours later we are finally done but not before several of the items we negotiated were not recorded and finding out that the zilon treatment we asked for had not been applied to the car (they had 10 days to do it but our sales guy never put in the order). Oh and it does not end there, we were told the zilon treatment would take an hour but when we went back to get it done were told we would have to wait 2-3 hours for it to be done. Then, oh yes, there is more, we finally got what we thought would just be the registration, on the last day that the temp plates are good, to find out that they did not transfer the plates but had put in for new ones and oh by the way that costs more and they want more money. So my advice is if you have another option for a car dealer take it and run as far from this place as possible. They are not worth your time, energy or frustration.

I went in for a oil change, I was told that i am due for a 90K service 87449 actual reading. I said OK. Then it came out for some more work brake pads & timing belt. The total came out to 1999$. When i went in there the total with taxes came to 2100$ odd, When i presented the discount coupon of 15% off and the timing belt discount. The service rep said that he has taken out discounts off already and the 15% does not apply to the 90k mileage. The coupon doesn't mention that it does not apply to 90k service. The sales rep did help by reducing 60-70$ but i felt like being cheated because of their policy of not accepting coupons. Also the list and the net price showed same so i am not sure how much was taken off the top. This is the last time i am going to this Honda dealership for service or for buying cars.

First time honda buyer. Initially came to dealership due to add for honda odyssey. I was met by a friendly gentleman at desk who introduced me to Neil. Neil was aware of the add and showed me the car, which was a more basic model than I was looking for. I then wanted to see the next step up. At no time did Neil try to push me towards the more expensive car. After selecting the car and color the paperwork was done quickly. Neil also helped me with the misplaced title for my trade-in. A great listener, Dave didn't apply any high pressure tactics, he heard what I had to say and we took it from there. Easy, pleasant. There was an issue with getting the vehicle (which had nothing to do with the dealership) - Dave called me sometimes twice a week with updates. He has great follow up skills and over the course of waiting for the car we developed a great working friendship - rare these days. He even preset my radio and Bluetooth. Excellent!Rick Kara was also great to work with. Thorough and attentive, he went out of his way to get me a good rate and explain the financial details. No high pressure here either. We had gone to get an used vehicle from this dealership, couple of months ago and we really feel that they RIPPED us off with their high pricing and its just not that, their warranty is also a RIP OFF!!!Just one advice to anyone buying used vehicles from here, BEAWARE!!! They are very focused on newer vehicles but when it come to older, they will RIP YOU OFF!!!Save yourself the time and hassle, go else where to buy used Honda Vehicles!!!

Bob told me that DCH of Nanuet would meet any price I was able to find. I did my homework and came up with some good prices from Rockland/Westchester dealers. While Nanuet didn't offer me the best price immediately they did what they said and met the best price I was able to find. Bob was a pleasure to deal with. He saw to all the details and was punctual and efficient. I would recommend DCH Honda of Nanuet and be sure to see Bob King.

The only reason I would recommend this dealership would be because of the exceptional customer service I received from Dan D'Angelo. He was very friendly and informative. He sat with me and explained everything thoroughly. Even after I wasn't eligible, one of his co-workers told me come back in 6-7 years maybe then my credit would suffice. His comment totally discouraged me but Dan explained to me a couple of options and what I would need to do in order to get into the car I want. Just that extra 5 minutes he took to encourage me after my low credit score made me realize there are still good car salesmen out there. Because of my experience with Dan I will come back( not in 6-7yrs lol) and recommand him to anyone I know llooking to purchase a car.

Recently shopped for 2015 Honda Fit. Initially went to Paramus Honda and did NOT have a good experience. The sales manager there was condescending. I was there once before, approximately 10 years earlier, and had the same experience. I should have known better. I then went to Honda of Nanuet, and I am very happy I did. Salesperson Travis Jordan was very professional. He apparently noticed that I already had done my research, so he respectfully did not push the car on me. He also understood that I was not ready to make a deal durng my first visit. He allowed me to test drive the vehicle a number of different times, which I greatly appreciated, as I was not fully sold on the car. Finally. I decided the Fit was the car for me after all. I ended up getting the Fit EX. Negotiation of price went smoothly, and I felt the price was fair for both parties. Glenn Reggio in finance was a pleasure to deal with too. I had to bring the car in for a quick fix the other day (piece of molding had to be snapped back into place with a new clip). Dominick Garretson set it all up, and the problem was fixed in a timely manner. NOTE TO SALESPEOPLE AND SALES MANAGERS EVERYWHERE: Don't be pushy. Do not speak down to the customer. Treat the customer with respect. These are the reasons why I purchsed my car at Honda of Nanuet, and not at Honda of Paramus. If you are shopping for a Honda, stop in at Honda of Nanuet and ask for Travis Jordan.

About a decade or so ago, I bought a Honda CRV here and had a relatively good experience - good enough that when I needed a new vehicle I decided to start with Honda. Back then there was lots of haggling and as a young(er) woman dealing with an older salesman I found it quite challenging. Though I don't do much of anything without lots of research the salesman tried to convince me I was wrong. After returning with "proof" of my numbers, I was able to negotiate a price very close to what I wanted to pay. Over the years things have changed. Shopping on the internet and consumer ratings make it simple. Having driven an SUV for years, the price of gas and upkeep was becoming extremely high and I decided that fuel economy and safety was key. I chose the Honda Fit. From there, I went to several sites and got it down to a specific car - VIN included. Went to the dealership and spoke to Christine (who handles internet business) - looked at the car I wanted. After a brief wait, I was introduced to Travis Jordan who was able to give me a price that was exactly what I was willing to pay. We handled all the paperwork and I returned 2 days later to pick up my new car after meeting with Rocco. Everyone I met wqs friendly and outgoing. I think the key to both my success and satisfaction was that I did enough research in advance to know what I wanted down to the exact vehicle and I had a price in mind that was fair to both me and to the dealership. If they couldn't give me a price in my range, I'd understand but I doubt that would happen considering the fact that I researched it so well.

My experience with the dealership has been a unique one. Initially it started with a disappointment due to some misunderstandings but the dealership did everything to make me believe in them and become their loyal customer including my belief in the DCH Group. I was referred to this dealership through a friend and what a mistake. After waiting 40 minutes to talk to a salesman, I was approached by the sales manager and assured a good deal. Only 10 min of negotiation the salesman came back with another guy who was very rude. He told me "You are way off on your numbers" if I could get a better deal elsewhere go get it. I was going to buy 2 cars but obviously they don't like dealing with women. I was very disappointed. Not only was I not taken seriously, I was basically told to go elsewhere. I got home and called the sales manager and surprise surprise I got no call back. They wasted my time, and didn't care about making a deal. Bad very bad.....

Our experiences with buying new cars have always been tense. At DCH Honda of Nanuet we were very pleased to find everyone helpful, courteous, and patient. Michael Ross, our salesperson, was exceptional. We never felt rushed into a decision. He was always patient with us, kind and respectful. We never felt more at ease in purchasing a car. Rick Kara in finance was very helpful, kind and extremely responsive making sure the paperwork was correct so things could go smoothly for us. When I walked into the dealership, I already knew that I had no intention of walking out with a car. I was apprehensive about going in because I knew some hot-shot salesman was going to try to "pin me down" until I agreed to make a purchase I was simply not ready for. That's when I met Tony Celeste...I told Tony that I wanted to look at the Honda CRV and wanted some numbers so I can use the next few months to get ready. He proceeded to do just that! Tony was knowledgable, understanding, and best of all...NOT PUSHY! He was every car buyer's dream. Tony has since transferred to Mahwah Honda in New Jersey, but I would recommend driving the extra few miles just to deal with him. The peace of mind is well worth the trip. When I ready to buy, I will definitely buy from Tony!

My husband and I went to this dealership about a year before our lease was up to see about options we would have. We were told we had to have 4 matching tires in order to even get the car looked at. Our mechanic thought it was strange that we were replacing 2 tires that were basically new. So, when we went back to the dealership, we were told there was nothing they could do for us. So, after spending money on tires that really weren't needed, we left there disappointed. We had a much different experience this time, our lease was coming up and we were put in the capable hands of Dan D'Angelo who explained all of our options without any pressure. He was knowledgable in every aspect. We decided to buy the car because we were over miles. Today, i went back with all of my paperwork and again I was put in touch with Rocco Cermele who worked hard to get the best rate and terms possible. He was also very knowledgable and explained everything in great detail. I have to say, if these 2 people weren't there, we might have just turned in the lease and walked away. I will be referring anyone who is looking for Honda to both of these men. I was happy to hear that the dealership was sold in March, I feel that customer service has improved greatly.

Leasing a new car from DCH was relatively painless. They then said that they would take care of my plates and registration, and gave me a set of temporary plates. The temporary plates are due to expire tomorrow, and the new plates are not yet here. It turns out that they delayed almost 2 weeks in submitting my paperwork, which resulted in processing delays by the DMV. The sales person did not return my call on this matter. The DMV clerk at DCH told me last week that my plates were en route, but took back that claim this week. She told me that it would be up to her manager to issue me new, temporary plates, but he's been mysteriously unavailable all week.My next call will be to the Better Business Bureau.

Sales person was helpful, knew her job well. There were many cars being delivered that evening, we waited THREE Hours to finally take delivery of the car. Better customer service would have been to call us in advance & let us know when to come in rather than being asked to wait in the noisy service area for three hours. They asked us to still give a good CSI review since their bonus is based on it.

Kamu was 100% friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. He genuinely listened to what my needs were and helped me make the right choice. He was never pushy and his vibe was very genuine and honest. He was also really helpful with dealing with my insurance company. My regular agent was not available on Easter weekend so we had to go thru the general after hours department at State Farm. They were a bit of a problem and screwed up my information and really delayed us from wrapping up the process as quickly as it could have been. Kamu stayed on the line with them and straightened everything out..twice! I heard the whole conversation and Kamu was completely professional and had the patience of a saint! I felt he went above and beyond in that moment and I am very grateful. State Farm was very frustrating and Kamu took care of everything.Thanks!!

This is our very first time getting a Honda and we had gone to this DCH Honda of Nanuet on April 18, 2014 because of the referral we got from a close family friend, out of urgency but to my disappointment they were not only charging me more money for a 11-12 year old van but they were not giving me the deal that I went there for and spoke about.Additionally when I called them and left several messages for "Carlos Cueto and Glenn Reggio", they didn't return phone calls on a timely manner, even after getting the messages. This went on like this for almost a whole week and as of yesterday (April 24, 2014) after this long wait, we got a hold of Glenn to see the status then, I was told that he was waiting for an approval (so, what was he doing since April 18, 2014, where he had told us that we would hear from him the latest by Tuesday April 22, 2014?) and will let us know within few hours. He then calls me after one hour and tell me the best he could come up for approval was $6,000 and that I have to come up on my own with $876, which I felt was absolutely not right, especially as slow as they do thing at this dealership. After all this waiting, with all the connection that Glenn Reggio or "Carlos Cueto" has with Most Banks and Honda Financing, they could have really helped us and I mean honestly, helped us out by getting us the full deal amount as it was discussed when I first started with them on April 18, 2014. The actual value of this Van is $4,400 especially with the mileage being 140,000+, but even if their prices were higher we didn't go to bargain or argue with them because we thought that they were really helping. In their ad on internet, they said that "price is negotiable" but to my surprise, after going there in person it was not negotiable!!! We totally feel that they should have given us the full or better deal after all the trouble we went through of not getting calls returned for almost a whole week of waiting. I have never seen any dealership taking so long!!!I really would not recommend this dealership to no one who is looking to buy any Honda vehicle (new or used) because even with the new management they are really not helping anyone other than themselves. Additionally, we have left several voice messages for "Carlos" and till current date, we have not gotten a call back from him either. This is the kind of bad customer service they provide.Overall, after all this crap now, our credit score also got a bit screwed. Just an advice to all, please be careful of this dealership, mentioned above!!! You may take the risk on your own because maybe you may have a better experience with them.NEW UPDATE AS OF MAY 30, 2014:As of April 30, 2014, Carlos and Glenn helped us get somewhat closer to the deal that we spoke about but it was not the exact deal that we discussed in the very beginning. We were ok with it because of our urgency of needing a Van that they took advantage of a bit. Overall, I would like to thank Carlos and Glenn for working with us closely but they could have done better, if they wanted to!!!

Worked with Euna Wilson and she was fantastic; friendly, didn't pressure me and was professional. I knew what I wanted; an Accord LX for my 20 year old son. Euna handed us keys and told us to take a ride. She let us know she had a leftover 2013 Sport that we could get a decent deal on, but the color wasn't for us. She wasn't able to give me a quote because the manager was MIA. No big deal as I wasn't buying at that moment. She promptly emailed me a quote.Told her I was going to wait a month for my son to return from school. "No worries" she said.Change of heart and returned 30 minutes before closing on a Saturday. While my son and wife took another test ride I negotiated the best deal I could with Euna. Painless. My wife didn't want to commit but Euna said "Don't worry about it, If you want it I'll get you a brand new one on Monday" (the test drive car had 35 miles on it)Monday - Euna had the car ready for pick-up (with 5 miles on it!). Also worked with Glenn Reggio on the financing and it too was simple. Very friendly guy. Overall, a very pleasant experience. DCH of Nanuet, Euna and Glenn in particular, made the entire process enjoyable.

Bob King is a great sales representative. He walked me through buying my car step by step, he even gave me his cell phone number to text him and questions I had. Thanks to Bob the process of buying the car was a breeze. I haven't driven a manual car since i was first taught how 6 years ago. Bob test drove the car for me, and then helped guide me through re learning driving a manual. He was very personable and friendly. My wife and I were looking for a new car and were interested in a small SUV such as the Honda CRV. We met Kamu Foggie when we walked in and he was very nice and easy to talk to. I rarely take the time to write a review like this; however, I received such stellar service from Dominick and the service staff at Honda of Nanuet that I had to share it with anyone who is listening (reading). After hastily dropping my vehicle off (no appointment) on a Friday morning, I received a prompt shuttle to my rental car establishment. Additionally, I was promptly notified regarding the diagnosis on Saturday afternoon and when informed that the vehicle may not be ready until Monday, I expressed that I needed the vehicle urgently for business and had to pick it up on Sunday. With that, Dominick let me know that he would do the best he could to try to ensure that the vehicle would be ready on Sunday. True to his word, Dominick and the Honda service staff were able to repair my vehicle and have it ready for pick up on Sunday. I am sure that my last minute unexpected drop - off, coupled with my demanding request that the vehicle be repaired quickly, did not make things easy for Dominick and the service staff. Yet, I was treated with respect and courtesy and never so much as encountered a hint of "attitude" or negativity with regard to my requests. This level of compassion and professionalism is rare and for that I will be eternally grateful to Dominick and the service staff.Mecca

David was our salesman and was outstanding! He was very genuine and made the experience personal without pressure. I bought my civic si coupe last week from route 23 honda and my husband bought his civic si sedan from nanuet today. David really worked hard to ensure that we knew every aspect of our car. He was a mechanic and explained to us absolutely everything under the hood. He truly took the entire evening explaining everything in the deal and every button in the car. This experience helped me learn more about my car as well. Glen helped us with our warranty (7 years/100k miles), finance, and gave us a free oil change. I believe Angelo was the name of the man that helped me when we left. I accidentally parked with all the used cars and I got blocked in. We closed the dealership tonight and everyone left. Last week I brought a 2011 Certified Honda Accord. I would never forget one of the most memorable experience I have encountered. This was the first time buying a car from a dealership and they exceeded my expectations big time. The staff here overall is truly looking out to help you and throughout the process making you feel as comfortable as possible when buying or looking at a car. The sales man I worked with was Kamu Foggie, what an astounding young man who is definitely the best dressed secret. Seriously his customer service, experience and knowledge were keen to help me with the process of buying the car I got. I did not feel any pressure at all and did not get harassed to buying this car; which led me to feel at ease and was able to make the right and best decision. Glen Reggio, the business director was very compassionate and understanding helped me more than I can envision. With my unique situation (not having the best credit and income) he went out his way to get me a great monthly affordable rate with a 8 year warranty included. I came to my wife and she could not believe the news. Thank you Glen and Kamu, your service and help is not taken for granted at all. I would never forget this, God bless you guys. Overall, Honda of Nanuet and the staff here I believe is truly authentic and really there to help you with the process of looking into or buying a car. At the end of the day, they are NOT your typical dealership. We also went to a couple of other Honda dealers but found Honda of Nanuet to be the most efficient, organized, and friendliest. We worked directly with Angelo Alvarez who was very honest and patient with us. We felt very comfortable with him and went home with just what we were looking for. When we visited Honda of Nanuet, Travis greeted us by the door with a very friendly and easy going personality. He took us right to the cars and years we were interested in and right away had he keys ready and showed us everything aobout the car we were posssibly interested in. He got plates right away so we could take a test drive and than explained all the features about the car in depth. He kept in contact with us just for a day or two to make sure we wanted the car so it didn't get sold. On the third day we made an appointment with him to come down to get started on purchasing. He was there with us throughout the process and kept in contact when he needed to and got everything ready for us when we were good to go with our new Honda. I would definitly recommend Travis as the sales person to help you when visiting Honda of Nanuet.

It was my first experience in a dealer, but a very good one. Mr Kamu was very friendly, he helped me find the best car and the best deal they have over there. He went over every deal they have, He suggested me to do this or to do that until I get this Honda Accord. Even after I brought that car, he called me to know how I'm doing with it. Both of us were very pleased with the service we received here and I'd like to elaborate a bit on my experience.My partner went to the dealership to lease another Honda Civic. I didn't have to deal with anyone other thanMr. Foggie and I was ready to lease the car by early afternoon. I returned later in the afternoon to pick up the car. Last Sunday my husband and I decided to go to Nanuet Honda to lease a new Accord. Our last three cars have been Hondas, so we know the great quality. My husband always researches before we go to a dealer. He liked their manner on the telephone. Sometimes you just know by the feeling you get after just a few minutes of conversation. When we walked in to Nanuet Honda, Dave De Simone walked up to us, and extended his hand and introduced himself. I particularly look for the salesman that makes sure he pays attention to the husband and the wife. A+ right from the beginning. My husband doesn't fool around when we go car shopping. He knows exactly what he wants, and does his homework. He presented this to Dave, and Dave quickly made sure if the deal was possible. After a very short time, we had looked at the car, and were ready to sign the papers. He made it so easy. He was extremely knowledgeable and added his great sense of humor, which made it very enjoyable for us. We have been to enough dealers through the years to know what a painful experience it can be. When we picked up the car, he showed us every gadget from top to bottom. He was patient with our questions, and even gave us his cell number if we ever had any additional questions. Nanuet Honda should be very proud to have such an excellent sales person. He truly does not try to cut any corners when selling a car. I'm leasing a Honda accord coupe 2013 manual drive and I love it. I think the biggest reason is because I got the car I really wanted. Travis didn't try to sell me something out of my price range. Actually I came in looking for a Civic coupe 2014 and he offered me an Accord coupe 2013 for roughly the same price. It's black so it gets dirty faster but I can't complain. I've had a Honda before but this time I shopped around. I rented cars that I was interested in but none compared to Honda not even the Hyundai. So, I'll definitely come back again.

We received emails telling us about the great sales that were going on at Honda of Nanuet. He currently have two leases and wasn't sure if we would need to make the remaining payments. Well....we met with Dave DeSimone who made all our worries go away. Dave went above and beyond to get us I to our two new cars. To top it all off, he got my husband into the car he really wanted. He worked with his finance team to get my husband not to just settle. It made me so happy to see the excitement on my husband' space whe Dave surprised him with the numbers on the car he really wanted.Dave is a kind and considerate man. He never pressured us and went above and beyond to help us. He also showed how caring of a man he was with concern for comfort from my disability. This is my fourth lease from Honda of Nanuet. The salesman I used previously retired, so I was worried how my experience would be. However, the new salesman, David Litwak, made me very comfortable and patiently answered my questions. He was not pushy and allowed the process to unfold on my schedule. He was knowledgeable about the vehicle and the process, which made the experience stress-free and even enjoyable.

Honda of Nanuet is exceptional. No other words suitable to describe them. I've been dealing with them for Sales and Service for years, and no other dealership, Honda or otherwise, even comes close. My purchase today was a 2014 Honda Accord EX-L. I added some options based on my high mileage driving. They worked with me on price, fully disclosed all details of the options (like wheel and tire warranty), and gave me all the details.The buying experience was like no other. Dave DeSimone is a nice, friendly person, who spent the time with me to go over every aspect of the car. He sat with me showing me all the features and he was very knowledgeable. With every nuance of the purchase, he only asked if I was happy. That's all he set out to achieve, and he accomplished it with ease. I've never met another Salesman that actually cared about me being comfortable with everything included in the car.Save DeSimone also has a high degree of integrity. When he said he was following up on a question I had the previous week, and said he was going to call me back, he actually did when he said he would. Usually, most people have to follow-up multiple times. I never had to call me first, as he always called me and kept me in the loop.They handled all paperwork, insurance, etc. without an issue. Everything was already set when I got to the dealership.What struck me as being "above and beyond", instead of him staying in the dealership to take on new customers to sell more cars, he picked up a vacuum nozzle and cleaned the floor from some loose gravel (from me stepping into and out of the car a few times). This is a guy who genuinely set out to make me happy. In addition, it's nice to work with someone who clearly loves cars!I can go on and on about Dave, and wish him the best of luck. My experience at Honda of Nanuet was a very pleasant one. Dave DeSimone was very pleasant and accomodating in helping me select the vehicle I wanted. He took the time to show me all the cars accessories and how everything worked, he even assisted in programming the radio stations and my phone. My husband and I have always hated shopping for new cars because of the stress and vulture like feel of the salespeople. We walked into the dealership and felt no pressure from the sales personnel. Dave DeSimone walked up to us after several minutes of looking and asked if we had any questions and at the time we said we were just looking. He smiled and said if we needed anything just ask and he left us to look but stayed close in case we did have any questions. No pressure on us at all. We were definitely just looking that day and he handed us his card and we left. We were very happy that he did not hound us to stay. We returned a couple of days later and bought a 2014 Honda Accord. We settled on an agreeable price and the whole process of paperwork was so fast and easy. My husband was amazed at how pleasant an experience it was and we will definitely go back to this dealership when we buy another car. I love my Honda and would recommend this dealership. We went looking for a new SUV/Minivan for our family of 5. we were looking at the Toyota Sienna until we came to Honda. My husband first met Kamu, who was calm, full of knowledge of the Odyssey and was not at all pushy. When we went for the test drive he was calm, and answered our questions as they came up. Kamu really helped us make what became an easy decision, quickly and we left the dealership. happy.When we came to pick up a few days later, there was Kamu ( the best dressed sales man I have ever seen) waiting to wrap up the paperwork. He then took us outside and showed us the car inside out so we knew how things worked. We were fine and warm but he was in the freezing cold and didn't even rush through anything. I really felt good about purchasing my new 2014 CRV EX from Honda of Nanuet. Salesman Robert Dessau is straight forward and relaxed. I was able to negotiate a good price for my vehicle based on my extensive research. I went back to Robert Dessau because he had previously sold me a Honda Pilot EX-L in 2005. Make an appointment to see Robert Dessau before going as he has been working at Honda for over 20 years and knows how to treat a potential customer from when you first walk in the dealership to even calling you the day after you purchased your vehicle to ensure that you are happy.

Researching for a preowned CR-V for my daughter, I went to Honda of Nanuet to test drive several 2011 CR-V's. The dealership has one of the most extensive inventories of certified used CR-V's and it was very easy to obtain pertinent info (mileage, carfax, price listing) of each vehicle on their website. Meeting my sales consultant Ms. Euna Wilson was a distinct pleasure. Her friendly demeanor completely eliminated the often heard stereotype - "the pushy car sales person". Euna was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable in handling the entire negotiation and buying process. The price I paid for the 2011 CR-V was "in the ballpark" and the overall buying experience was entirely stress free.Thanks again to Euna Wilson as well as Glenn Reggio and Jay Milich for their exemplary customer service. When we arrive, we were treated like family. The receptionist at the front desk counter was very polite, we were greeted with a smile and immediately felt at home. The salesperson (Dave DeSimone) was excellent, his hospitality made us feel very comfortable and welcomed. Dave took us on a test drive, having both of us operate the SUV, taking his time to show us all the features. We were offered food and drinks, which were delicious. Without reservation I recommend Honda of Nanuet and my salesman, David Litwak. This is my family's 4th buying experience at Nanuet. Previously, we've purchased a 2006 S2000, a 2008 Honda Accord Coupe, a 2012 Ridgeline, and my latest purchase was a 2014 Honda Accord Sport. Each time we return to Honda of Nanuet because we feel that the environment is friendly, the sales staff are straightforward and honest, and the managers are accommodating. My salesman was David Litwak. David made the buying experience as easygoing and pressure free as possible. I am most impressed with his service after I put down my deposit. David gave me his cell phone number and was always in touch with me as I waited for the car to be reupholstered (aftermarket leather -- which was beautiful by the way, highly recommended and not a "known" option to most). He also was willing to stay after his hours so I could pick up the car at a time that was convenient for me. This is evidence of a salesman that truly wants to deliver the best buying experience to his customers. David told me he was new to the dealership--two or three months on the job--but his product knowledge, even to a car buff like me, was impressive. I was also happy that David called me three days after I picked up the car, on a Saturday, to make sure I was happy with everything. This guy is great--highly recommended.Also I would like to say that Ertan, the business manager, was friendly, efficient, and fun to talk to. Jay, the sales manager, in my brief meeting with him, also was personable and had an attitude of "how can we make this deal work, together? and "what are you looking for...how can I make you happy with this purchase?" This is NOT the norm with sales managers (but it should be!). Thank you Jay and Ertan. Lastly, as everyone is always concerned with price, I was happy with the price I paid for the car and happy with my trade in price. Negotiating was easy and I never felt like I was being openly pressured. Could I have probably argued for more money on my trade, and a bit less off the car, sure....but in the end, when the service is good, I think anyone is willing to settle on a fair price for all. I brought my 2010 pilot into Honda of Nanuet because I felt the front struts weren't working properly. It felt like the shocks/struts weren't absorbing bumps the way they should. I was met by Dennis Clifford who was very friendly and professional. I explained the situation to him and he informed me that the mechanics would look at the truck and they would call me when it was done. When I picked up the truck I was a little surprised that my bill was approximately $900 after taxes. They determined the front compliance bushings were leaking. Parts added up to $324 and $500 for labor. $500 for labor for bushings? This seems a little excessive to me. To top things off the car still wasn't driving properly and I was told I would also have to replace the front struts which would be another $1300 dollars. What annoys me the most is the truck only has 25000 miles on it but it is outside the 3 year warranty so none of the work is covered. Needless to say I will not be returning to Honda of Nanuet for any future work. It's a shame too because the employees were all very friendly but the prices are insanely to over priced.

I recently traded in my 2007 Fit Sport and financed a 2013 Fit Sport w\Nav. The salesperson I worked with was nice enough but lacked experience. I had to inform him that Nav was available in the Fit, he had no idea. My experience with Frank, one of the managers was the worst I've ever had in buying a car. While the buyer should beware, I do expect a salesman to be honest with me. Frank stated that my current car could not get a penny over $4k. He then listed it for $7995 the very next day. I felt used, misled, and completely taken advantage of. Frank epitomizes everything that comes to mind when one thinks of a used car salesman - his level of sleeziness is unsurpassed in my experience. I should have come to this realization on my first visit -I approached him on my way out to thank him for his time. As I was not buying that day, he refused to even look up from his computer and literally left me standing there with my hand shake offer unaccepted. I eventually pulled my hand back as the awkwardness of the moment increased. I will never step foot in this dealership again - for sales or service (I had all my service on my previous car completed there since moving to the area). I strongly recommend not visiting this dealer...I only wish that I had shopped around more. They did not deserve my business.

While I have had my share of negative dealer sales experiences over the last 35 years or so, they have never reached the lows of my encounter in early November with Nanuet Honda. I strolled in with my 85 year-old father to inquire about and hopefully take a look at the new Accord Hybrid promised (at least in the press) to be in the showrooms on October 31. Instead, what I got from the two salesmen were blank looks, dismissive comments about hybrids generally, misinformation on some matters and no information on most, and a complete lack of engagement. It truly was unbelievable -- a hard sell would have been preferable.

Recently I had a chance to work with Honda of Nanuet to handle the regular maintenance for our 1998 Honda CRV. We needed to have the brake pads replaced, change the tires and replace some of the drive train fluids. Most of the maintenance work was fine, but when we got the car back it appeared to have some tire noise. Honda service team was very patient with us to troubleshoot the problem and promptly resolve all of the issues. It was a pleasure working with the Honda of Nanuet service team. It is when you have to resolve the difficult to troubleshoot issues that the service team really shines. We are very happy with the outcome and will continue using the Honda of Nanuet service department.

This dealership has only one priority: to sell cars as quickly as possible. There is clear disregard for their clients but not their money. I had a prior lease and was interested in starting a new lease. I expressed concerns to the salesperson about the damage to the car on that was being returned and was told that I had 1500 dollars of allowable damage. The salesperson eye balled the car and said that she didnt beileve there was 1500 in damages. Low and behold the car had 1030 dollars of allowable damage. Guess she was right. Guess I m not liable for anything. WRONG!!!!! According to the dealership I owe 680 bc anytime one item has over 500 of damage the customer assumes liability. So they want be to pay 680 rather than 180 the beyond coverage despite having less that 1500 in damages. I explicitly voiced my concerns about potential damage and only received "don't worry". Geez thx . These guys just wanted to lock me into a new contract. They disregarded my concern and I was held accountable Despite not passing the account limit. If you want to be taken honda nanuet. Funny thing is Frank sales manager who is the pushy head guy there could have helped but he was not incentived bc I wasn't buying a new car.

This review is to inform people of the situation that has still as of 4/8/13 not been resolved. I mailed the following to Honda of Nauet on January 28, 2013 and received promises things would be resolved... they havent. Since owning this vehicle the temperary paint they used to touch up rust marks in order to sell has begun coming off leaving the vehile looking terrible! I have also not received the reimbursment for registering my car through them! 4 months after they said the check was already in the mail! Liars! I would not recommend this dealer to anyone! This letter is to demand two items from your office. First, a letter stating that I do not owe nor ever did owe your office any money. Second, a letter of apology from your office for advising your collection office to harass and insult me. I make these requests to defend myself in the future should this false collection claim remain on my credit history. Since your office falsified the claim that I owed $500, your word that this matter is resolved is meaningless. I purchased a 2003 Honda Accord from your business. I left a cash down payment of $500 on December 24, 2012. I paid the remaining balance in cash when I took ownership of the car on December 29, 2012. On January 15, 2013 I was contacted by your collection agency that I still owed $500. The agent was confrontational and insulting. Your agent stated I never paid the $500 cash deposit, I advised your agent I would provide documents to prove the amount was paid in full. After I faxed the document to your agent, she insisted I wrote on the document to falsify that the deposit was paid on December 24, 2012. Since your collection agent refused to accept the documents were accurate, I had to make several calls to the car salesman and the sales manager before the agent accepted the issue was mistakenly reported to her office. Although I understand this issue is resolved, I have no confidence in your office. Since you passed this to a collection agent, I expect this mistake will erroneously appear on my credit history. To help me defend myself in the future, I demand the two documents. A letter stating that I do not owe your office any money nor did I and a letter of apology for passing this issue to your collection office without contacting me first. My first conversation on this matter was an issue from your collection agent, interesting response two weeks after a sale.I will give your office until February 15, 2013 to return the requested letters or I will take appropriate action.

I find it hard to believe that this dealer has such good reviews. Since 2010, we have purchased FOUR new Honda's between myself, husband and mother-in-law. Three out of those 4 times we purchased a car, we went to Honda in Nanuet and walked out every time. The salesmen are arrogant and basically laugh you out of the place. On our last visit, we had recieved an internet quota for a 2013 Honda Pilot. When we went in to Honda of Nanuet - who claims they "price match", they basically said there was no way that was for a 4 wheel drive vehicle and basically laughed at the quote and threw it back at us. Well, needless to say, we walked out of that dealership and will NEVER again go back, nor will we ever recommend them and we have been telling everyone we know that asks about our new 2013 Pilot which IS a 4 wheel drive and we did get for the price we wanted - not to ever trust Honda of Nanuet. In 2010, we bought a brand new Pilot, in 2011 we shopped around with my mother-in-law who bought a new Accord, in 2012 my husband got a new Odyssey and 2 weeks ago, I replaced my 2010 Pilot with a 2013 Pilot and NONE of them were from Honda of Nanuet. Going forward, we will NEVER step food in this dealership again. I am there to purchase a vehicle, not to get mocked and laughed at by a salesman. What makes them think it is ok to treat customers that way??? Very rude and arrogant and they have lost my business forever and I love telling everyone how awful they are. I know they think Honda basically sells itself, but it doesn't justify how they treat poeple. Even if I help a couple people avoid being mistreated at Honda of Nanuet, I'm happy! Go elsewhere even if it takes a little longer to get to - it will be worth it in the end.

Horrible experience . Frank was not nice . I thought , why am I enduring this treatment , I'm the customer . So I went down the road a bought a Ford . I love it . What a better product for a better price !

Service was excellent. Dealer followed up as promised and kept us well-informed regarding timing of delivery of car. We purchased the car throughout the Costco program and, as promised, the experience was "hassle-free." The color of car we wanted was not available at Honda Nanuet but the dealer obtained it quickly through its network of affiliated dealers.

My family has been buying cars from this location for over 15 years. The service department has become part of our family, especially with my Dad being sick.I decided it was time to buy a new car and wanted a 2012 Civic. I was hesitant, especially after reading the reviews, and the non-endorsement from Consumer Reports. It was made very clear in advance I was paying in full by check. Somehow we got convinced to finance which is exactly what we did not want to do.The care is almost 10 months old now. The leather on the driver side seat has already worn thru. I was told I was speaking to the wrong person when I called my sales person. I then called service and Sophia said she couldn't help me. I asked for a Service Advisor and noone was available. I was asked if I had Honda Care, was given an 800 number and of course they were closed.Left a message for Dan again-never returned my call.Knowing the service guys quite well, I decided to leave them a message. I'm bringing the car in next Saturday. I was told Management has to inspect the leather to determine if it is defective or if it was caused by me????? The indicator that I had to tighten the gas cap continues to come on even though it is as tight as I can make it.How could I have caused the leather to ruin in 10 months????Unfortunately, I think this will be my last Honda-many people told me not to buy the 2012 but I've had Civics all along and thought it can't be that bad.I guess I'm finding out the hard way.I do have to say major kudos to the Service Department. Everyone working there is top notch in my books-can't say the same about my salesperson.

If you're looking for a new or used Honda, go to this dealership and ask for Euna Wilson. She treated me with respect, was knowledgeable, and didn't pressure me at all. I would suggest her to anyone who wants an easy, enjoyable car buying experience. I really with that they had the exact car I wanted because I would rather have given them my business instead of the other dealer I ended up buying from.

Euna Wilson is easily the best salesperson I've worked with to date. She was knowledgeable, respectful, and didn't pressure me at all. I wish all salespeople were like her. The selection and pricing at this dealership is excellent, as well as the facilities. The whole experience was A++++. Next time I buy a car, I know where I'm going. This dealership redeems bad stereo-types about car salespeople.

I bought a car from Angelo a couple of months ago. He is an excellent salesman! He is outgoing, friendly, positive, welcoming, and energetic. He knows a lot about Hondas and always answered any questions that I may have had. Even after I made a purchase of a car, he called to find out if everything with the car was going smoothly. Excellent car and professional salespeople. All my questions were answered honestly. I felt that the salesman was very sincere at finding me a car that I loved and could afford. He was patient with me and walked me thru the difficult process of selecting a car. He was both friendly and professional. The sales manager was also very honest and sincere with me and I found his price for the car was very fair. I would not hestiate to refer an of my family and friends to this dealership.

These folks are terrific. I've bought a number of cars before and I do know not to trust car dealers, but I found the automobile I was looking for on Kelly Blue Book at Honda of Nanuet, so I called and asked to speak to the sales manager on the phone. Mike (not sure of last nam, but I think it was Khan). I was surprised when Mike immediately accepted my offer and then told me he was turning me over to a man named Ertan, whom he had worked with for many years and thought I would like and possibly even trust. Two days later I drove to New York. It was a two hour drive, and I paid a friend's daughter to ride with me to bring back the car I had, which I did not want to trade. I had put a deposit on a credit card, and I brought a Cashier's check for the remainder as instructed by Ertan, who assured me could get a full refund if this car was not what I hoped or expected.This Honda Civic Hybrid was as excellent as Ertan was. There was a small scratch on the car (though it had only 15000 miles and was Honda Certified as well), so Ertan immediately sent the car over to the detailer, who was able to remove the scratch very quickly with wet sanding. Then Ertan handed me the keys for a test drive with my young friend. Ertan did not get into the car and talk incessantly, which has been one of my many bad experiences buying cars;( I think it's a way to keep the customer from being able to pay careful attention to issues like wind noise or speaker quality.)Then the credit person actually convinced me that I should finance the car, and I'm experienced enough to know whether or not I'm getting a deal that makes sense. I had intended to pay for the car out of my home equity line with a 4.5 interest rate, but the 4.0 rate Honda of Nanuet got me (I have excellent credit) was more than persuasive, and, this way, after 5 years I will actually own the car. With the credit line, I would have only paid about a hundred dollars interest per month, but I would never really own the car that way.I then chose to buy the extended warranty to 100,000 miles, another thing I have never been convinced to do before. I put 15k miles per year on the car, and, for an extra $30 a month, the would still be under warranty when I paid it off. The warranty is the same as Honda Certified, which means, basically, bumper-to-bumper.If I ever buy another car - and, right there, I almost bought a three years old Odyssey to replace our six year old one - Ertain Islami is who I will call. The reason I gave Honda of Nanuet great ratings is because of Allen Michelson my sales consultant and because of Pete Khan the sales manager. There is nothing more stressful than having to go buy a car. The whole idea of going in a dealership and haveing a sales peron sit you down and start the whole Sale Pitch 101 speech is just painful. I hate the lets make a deal game. Well, Honda of Nanuet not part of that game. Allen Michelson was so professional and knew all about what he was selling. I was with my aunt at the time. I wanted the civic again. He showed me the civic EX but I just could not at this time take the higher payment than the LX. When I told him I needed to go down a step, he did not do the dance of telling how much better the Ex is to the LX and try to bagger me into the EX. Believe me I wanted to EX and had the civic EX 2006 which I purchased as well at Honda Nanuet.(which is why I went back). He made me feel so comfortable. I told him that I got a nissian add and showed him and he went back to his manager Pete Khan. Prior to the nissian thing, the numbers Allen had given me seemed way off. Pete came over himself to introduce himself and tell us he had put a different formula in and that was why the numbers were off . we are all human and those things happen. But just to have Pete come over was great. When I went to look at the nissian deal they understood and actually asked if I could tell them what the deal was they were interested to know. They did not harass me, they did not call me to harass me. The next day I called Allen and said let get me that Honda Civic. Another great thing was that I wanted to lease and they only had 3 colors at that time which I really really did I mention really did not like. Allen went and found me a black car even though he had to call around . I told him that was ok I dont want to me difficult and Allen Said and I quote" that is not a problem, I want you to be happy".I can not say enough wonderful things about these gentlmen!!!!!!! Allen could not have been nicer and Pete was nice and very funny.Saying these two gentlemen are an asset in this dealership is an understatement!!!!!!!!And I should mention that because of the great treatment my aunt's saturn lease is up next year and she was looking at the Nissian Rogue but decide she wants to be a Hondaowner! I recently went to Honda of Nanuet to purchase a new car, and I couldn't be happier with my decision to do so! Though a previous owner of a Honda, this was my first time purchasing a new vehicle for myself. As can be expected, I was slightly nervous as I embarked on this journey, afraid that I might feel pressured to make decisions quickly or rushed through the whole experience as just another "number." Fortunately, I was lucky enough to have the assistance of Mr. Kamil Wojcik as my Sales Consultant. Kamil was personable, friendly, polite, professional, and EXTREMELY knowledgeable. He was attentive, respectful, and helpful, and most definitely not pushy in the least. Kamil patiently answered my many questions and effortlessly offered his expertise in the form of support and advice. He was straightforward and honest, and took a great deal of time to explain various features and advantages of certain models as compared to others. Kamil truly listened to my concerns and thoughtfully problem-solved with me to ensure that I was fully satisfied and comfortable with the decisions I was making. From start to finish Kamil made the entire experience of purchasing a new car and trading in an old one surprisingly easy and enjoyable! On the evening I picked up my new car, Kamil extensively reviewed the various features/functions it has and made sure I had no further questions or concerns. I felt truly comfortable working with Kamil and never once questioned his intentions; I knew he had my best interest at the forefront of his mind. He absolutely went above and beyond what I could have ever expected. I was also fortunate to have met with Mr. Glenn Reggio to discuss finances. He, too, was personable, professional, and friendly. He presented information in a user-friendly format and was very understanding and down-to-earth. Both Kamil and Glenn truly made my experience buying a new car a memorable one- in a good way- and I am extremely grateful for that! I have to say my experience dealing with Mr. Rossi of Honda was very pleasant. I have not bought a car in over 20 years and was quite apprehensive when it came to making the committmet. I did not feel pressured at all, and was actually very relaxed and confident of the decision I made. He was very informative and thorough in explaining all my options to me. He gave me a tour of the dealership, pointing out where the service area is and introducing me to the Service Advisor. I now own a Honda CRV and am very happy. My compliments to Mr. Rossi

On 09/30/2011 Me and wife brough a used car from this deaership on our first visit we were treated like kings and queens but when we returned 5 days later we were treated like dirt due to on three different ocassions we requested a copy of the carfax that we had sign for it. when we went 5 days later the salesperon euna wilson was very rude and info us that the car was in an accident when she or frank tinelli never told us about the car been in an accident.before we had sign the documents frank tinelli info us that the car was never in a accident thats why they certified the car because the car was never in a car accident..everything that this dealership told us was all a lie.and we round up paying for the certified car when it was suppose to be certified though honda..this dealership will said anything at first just to sale a car but them everything changes when customers sign the contacts. we sign this contract under false and deceptive pretenses. i will never buy a car for honda again and will never recommend anybody to this dealership or honda..

I had reviewed several other dealerships prior to coming to Honda of Nanuet to check on their products and thier people. Buying a new car is a considerably large investment in time and resources and I wanted to be sure of who I was dealing with. I was not disappointed. The people at Honda of Nanuet were very knowledgeable about their product and were very helpful in deciding what options, if any, were really something that I would find useful. I especially appreciated the fact the the sales consultant, Patrick Wysocki, was listening to what I wanted (with respect to the vehicle, options, and cost) and worked with me to come to a quick agreement. Although there was no pressure to purchase unwanted options or warranties he went through the scenarios when various options might make sense and the cost for each. It was all very matter-of-fact and made the process of getting a new vehicle extremely easy. Additionally, I didn't think that I would need the tutorial for the 2012 model but he suggested that he give me a quick run-through just in case and I'm glad he did. Wow. I wouldn't admit it to him but I'm really glad I spent the 20-minutes to get familar with how to get the most out of my new vehicle. There used to be a term called "Buyers Remorse". If you buy from Honda of Nanuet that may be a thing of the past because I was smiling the whole way home...

There was a problem with my seltbelt/airbag system and the seatbelt restraint kicked in while I was driving and my airbag light went on. We read the manual and it said the SLS system was a lifetime warrenty. I called D & C Honda in Tenafly NJ and spoke to a Service advisor,first I asked for an appt. He told me I would have to wait 4 days for an appt and said the system is no under warrenty and I probably went over a pothole in the city and I would have to pay for the fixture. It didnt sound right to me because I didnt even bring the car in yet for a diagnostic so how would he know the damage is not under warrenty. I remember several friends saying good things about Nanuet Honda. I called them they said to bring the car in for a diagnostic check and they would let me know what is the issue. They asked me to come in right away. Already I was impressed because they were very accomodating. I met with Dominick Garretson. He was honest and professional, hetold me they would do a diagnostic check and let me know what the issue was. He called me 2 hours later and told me that it was no outside source causing the problem with the SLS system. He said there was a problem with my seatbelt which affected my airbag light. He said that that system IS under warrenty since an outside source, eg...a pothole did not cause the problem and all I was responsible for was the Honda $100 deductable. My car was fixed in a reasonable amount of time, they were very nice. He told me my seatbelt had a lifetime warrently. D & C honda of Tenafly was nasty when I came in to buy a car and their "Service Advisors" are nasty, dishonest and ripoff artists.

My primary reason for the high reviews are the salesman that I dealt with, Patrick Wysocki. I visited the showroom and outdoor lot a couple of times before making a decision to purchase and my initial "no pressure" experience with this salesman made me want to come back. He treated me with respect and courtesy and best of all did not try to make me or my husband feel pressured into buying a particular used car. He was very trustworthy in his explanations and seemed to know Honda cars very well. His sincerity was very much appreciated and helped us to decide to return to the dealership and complete our purchase.

I shopped around to a few dealers and my experience at Honda of Nanuet was great. They were not pushy, very professional and didnt try to nickel and dime me. They talked about all the options with out trying to push them down my throat. When it came to discussing the price, they were willing to come down to a reasonable price. I just want to feel that Im getting the best price from an honest company and I felt that when leaving Honda of Nanuet. I would recommend them to anyone.

I was very pleased with the attention, product knowledge and follow up given me by my Salesman Mark Stephenson. I had come to the dealership intent on finding an Accord to lease under a specially advertized program. Mark addressed my request directly found the right car and even changing that vehicle at the last minute when we changed our mind on the color of the interior without missing a beat. I am pleased to recommend Honda of Nanuet to anyone who is interested in leasing a quality vehicle. I had never leased a car before and had many questions regarding the process. From start to finish, Patrick Wysocki, my leasing consultant, provided patient and thorough answers. Patrick took the time to explain every document that I signed. He also made sure that I knew how to work all the bells and whistles that the vehicle has to offer before I drove off. I also left the lot with a full tank of gas provided by the dealership. i went into honda of nanuet to purchase a certified used honda. The sales person mark was very polite, nice and fair. he does try his best on your behalf. he really made purchasing a car a pleasurable experience. Dont expect to barely ever speak with the financial manager though, as frustrating as that was for me mark relayed all my messages and made the experience worth it. plus i absolutely love my car!

The service received at Honda of Nanuet was completely different from other dealerships I've purchased vehicles from the past. The General Manager, Sales Person and Finance Manager took the time to explain what my options were and assisted me in choosing a vehicle that not only fit my lifestyle but also was within my budget. There were no tricks or pressure, I was given time to think it through and all questions were answered in a timely manner. I will definitely recommend Honda of Nanuet to friends and relatives and will also be a repeat customer when I decided to purchase or lease again. In addition, the follow-up after going home with the vehicle was a nice touch.

My experience at this dealership was probably the best I've ever had. From the time I walked in the door and was greeted by the receptionist, every single person was friendly, personable, and most of all, helpful. As a woman I feel like a lot of car dealers treat me like I don't know what I'm talking about or think they will be able to take advantage. I did not get that feeling at all. I knew what I wanted and they made it happen. There were no games, no pressure, and they were very patient in explaining things and giving me time to think about what I wanted to do. I will never go to another Honda dealership again...my experience here was above and beyond and I will be telling everyone I know to make sure they go there!! My salesman Arshed was incredibly sweet and helpful. The sales manager Frank was very thorough in explaining all of the finances to me, and the business manager Glenn was so extremely friendly and personable and took the time to talk to me not just as a consumer whose account he was handling. Since I came into the dealer for the first time and I met Mr. Stephenson he was very helpful, professional and especially very patient. Even though I told him from the beginning that I was not ready to buy my car he was very patient showing me all the features of the car and taking my information to follow up with me. He called a few times to see if I was still interested in the car. I was undecided about the car but after a few conversations with Mr. Stephenson I was convinced that this was the car and the dealership to do business with. When I went to pick up the car he was very patient and took his time to show me how all the different features in the car worked. As a matter of fact he stayed until late that day much later after the dealership working hours. I definitely recommend this dealer and I especially recommend to get assistance from Mr. Stephenson. Very professional Sales Consultant.

We were in search of a new car and we went to Honda of Nanuet to inquire abt the vehicles. Kamil was our sales rep and he was very helpful. He helped us to choose the ideal car for our family. The only issue i had with the dealer was that the price for the trade in. It was really really low. but at the same time they advertised our vehicle for sale for at least 75% higher than the trade-in price.

This was by far the best experience we've had with a car purchase... reasons: Kamil Wojcik (sales), and Joe Gutierrez (business manager/finance). Kamil proved to be extremely patient, dealing with our incessant questions and inability to make up our minds 3 nights in a row, keeping him at work, on average, 2 hours after the dealership closed. (work in Manhattan, get out 6p - earliest we can get to Nanuet 7p & they close 8p *this is not to suggest its ok to waste anyones time like this: We know that it was rude and inconsiderate, but we had no choice and at least we bought a car from him!!) He was very knowledgeable, professional, friendly, & helpful. He welcomed questions, never rushing us, & not pushy at all. Think stereotype car-salesperson and he was the opposite - he seemed genuine in his honesty and wanting to help us, really working with us until we reached, what I think, a Great buy. Kamil took care of almost everything: from the paperwork, to the insurance, plates, etc, to showing us every little function/button in the new car. After the super easy process, we met with Joe, who took care of the financial aspect for us. Joe is also great. He made this process very easy as well, detailed and simplified all the finance info clearly. If you're looking for a Honda (which are awesome & reliable), go straight for Kamil and Joe. Only thing you may need to watch out for would be management's (very) low offers for trade-ins, however, despite this, an overall positive experience.

I'm now retired. I've always had either a Chevy, Lexus or Toyota. Both my wife and I are handicapped,and we weren't happy with the handicapped vehicles on the market. We went to Toyota, then Lexus and they showed us what they wanted to sell us, even though they weren't sure if the vehicles would accomodate our needs.. Then by chance, we stopped at another Honda dealership not very far away. A salesman there didn't give me that "warm and cozy" feeling, and basically didn't try to sell a vehicle. Finally we went to Honda of Nanuet, and had the pleasure of meeting Dan D'Angelo. Dan asked us what we were looking for in a vehicle. We described our needs to transport two handicapped scooters. Well, Dan had a vehicle in mind, grabbed his tape measure and off we went to see a Ridgeline which would fill OUR needs, not the needs of a salesman told to push a certain auto, etc.. Wow, what a vehicle. It has everything I would want in a vehicle, and my wife says with our new Ridgeline, I act like 20 years just got shaved from my age. Dan's measurements were perfect, and both of the scooters fit in the back. We left the day after picking it up, and did a 200+ trip to Cape May. My Ridgeline was extremely comfortable, loved listening to XM Radio, watched the GPS, and gave verbal orders for the vehicle to do various functions, without touching buttons.Getting into the Ridgteline was also very easy for us unlike many other competitors models. What a wonderful relaxing trip we had. Thanks Dan for making us so happy with our first Honda. She's a beauty.

We came in at 3:30 on a Sunday afternoon... the dealer was closing at 4pm. We had a car we were interested in (saw it online). Ms. Wilson took care of us... she allowed us to test drive it on our own and stayed well beyond closing to discuss the car with us. She was friendly, polite, fair and NOT PUSHY AT ALL. We bought the car - not only because we felt is was a good deal, but also because of Ms. Wilson! We had seen many cars before this one (2004 Honda Civic), and had explained to all of the sales people that the car was for our son to drive back and forth to college (160 mi. one way). She genuinely cared that we got a solid car for our son. She was upfront about all the good and the bad about the car (nothing was bad mechanically or that required a major investment for a car with 108k mi. on it). I even waited 3 months (warranty period) prior to writing this just to see if the car held up - it did!I would strongly recommend buying a car from Ms. Wilson and hope to have the opportunity to buy another from her in the future!

I recently went in to buy a new Honda Accord and it was the best experience I have had at a dealership thus far. I worked with Kamil he was extremely friendly and knowledgable! He sat with me for almost two hours before I decided to make a purchase and called a few days later to see how I was doing!!! If you go to Honda of Nanuet ask for Kamil and tell him to give you the twin sister deal!!!!

I was really impressed with my purchase at Nanuet Honda. I dealt with Kamil Wojcik and He was very helpful and informative. He walked me thru my purchase of a Honda Civic giving me valuable suggestions along the way. Francis in the finance department was very friendly and helpful in helping me understand the terms of purchase. There was never a moment where I was pressured to by anything. They present what they have to offer and give information but the choice is left to the customer. I only wish that i could have gotten a better offer for my car, but I really can't complain because this is a 2012 model being offerred early in the season. I personally recommend Nanuet of Honda, in particular Kamil and Francis to anytone looking for a dealership that will treat you right. Kamil and Francis are valuable assests to that dealership and i personally thank them for a great buying experience.

This is the second Honda Accord I have purchased from this dealership. I enjoy the overall atmosphere, decor, professionalism, and friendliness at Honda of Nanuet. While I shop the internet and other dealers, this is where I want to do business. This recent purchase was for a new 2011. Previously, I purchased a 2005 certified used Honda from them which has performed without complaint. Kamil Wojcik did a fine job helping us through the purchase process since we weren't sure whether to buy or lease. He was patient, explained both scenarios and never became pushy or impatient. I leased and drove home my Honda Odyssey EX-L last night through Costco wholesale auto program at Nanuet Honda. I worked with salesman Drew Glassman who's very friendly and courteous who answered all my questions and concern regarding vehicle trim and pricing. He was prompt and proactive on preparing the vehicle for pickup.Negotiating with Frank Caputo was a pain :) but he's a nice guy and I got the price close to what I was looking to pay. Finally, the finance manager Glenn who took care of all paperwork and explained the lease agreement throughly and even gave me a free key replacement package for free.My overall experience with the dealer was great, all sales guys on the floor were friendly and would recommand anyone to buy their vehicle from this dealer.

Simply put, Euna got the job done! Her politeness over the phone was the reason I came to the dealership from three counties over. Her professionalism and courtesy upon meeting her in person was outstanding. She was firm but very fair in handling our negotiations. That, along with the impression of honesty that she conveyed made me decide to close the deal with Honda of Nanuet, despite having several other options.

Arshed was a pleasure to work with. When we first came in, he patiently showed us a number of models and demonstrated their features. When we came to pick up our new car, he took the time to go through the various features and demonstrate how they worked. He even made a follow up call a few days after our purchase to ask if we had any questions or issues. We never felt rushed, and Arshed was always pleasant and helpful.

Tried to sell me a 2010 Honda Civic LS with manuel transmission for $16,200 would not budge on price even though I showed them comparable ads for cars with the same or lower mileage and with automatic transmission!! Instead of lowering price by several hundred dollars as I requested they chose to lose me as a customer!! It is very surprising because it was also the end of the month. Incidentally, I ended up getting a 2011 Honda Civic LS with automatic transmission and similiar mileage from another dealership for only a few hundred dollars more than the $16,200. Euna was a great and personable salesperson but really made no effort to get me what I wanted!

Dealing with Arshed was a real pleasure. He is knowledgeable and friendly and was extremely helpful. We have been buying cars since 1974 and by far this is the best experience we had with Kamil. In fact we always dreaded shopping for a car because of the unpleasantness of hugling for the best price. I have to say that my experience this time was the best. Glenn Reggio was truely sypathetic to my sons needs and even came in on his day off to finalize the deal. He was very thorough and pleasant to deal with. Hopefully we will have more dealings with him.Prang also was great. He has dealt with us in the past and always follows through after the deal is done to see how everything is. He spends alot of time with his customers. You never feel rushed even if he has another customer waiting.

Excellent Service by Dan and Glenn. Both were straight forward and very honest. Great experience. Have only one suggestion, we waited for almost three hours for the car to get tags and temporary titles and by no fault of Dan or Glenn. The approval and purchase was complete we were just waiting on the paperwork. I would still recommend this dealership because of the outstanding service of the salesman and business manager.

Did all the online research on Honda Fit (wound up with the Sport model). Contacted all local dealers for quotes. Best deal was from Honda of Nanuet. My experiences with the other dealers were very uneven, to say the least. No follow up, poor follow up, bad price, etc. My initial phone exchange and quote on a base model was from Euna. When we got there to meet her, she was busy with another customer, so we waited and hung out--looking at the cars. Struck up a conversation with Jeff, who casually answered some questions for us as we waited. Eventually, Euna (very kindly) passed off the sale to Jeff, and we were on our way. I also never believed that buying a car, from start to finish, would be so pleasant and non threatening. No pressure, tons of information, answered any and all questions. They were all very professional, thorough, and informative. Jeff was wonderful, and really helped us feel at ease. We drove our car home today, and are in love with it! And we have already promised our 6 year old daughter that we'd pass it down to her when she turns 16!

Hallelujah,In all my 53 years on planet earth, I never thought I would be writing positive feedback on a car dealership but here it is. Sales rep Euna Wilson is a consummate professional and a pleasure to deal with. The no hassle no pressure straight forward sales approach convinced me to purchase my new car here. I thought the internet price quote was a teaser but that was in fact the correct price. There were no last minute price adjustments like the old days for undercoating etc. I never felt like I was handcuffed to the chair and received no negative reaction from Euna when I told her I would visit another dealership. I came into the dealership just to look around because I already assumed that my budget was to small to afford a new vehicle from a Honda dealership. I was immediately greeted by a sales man named Edrima and figured I looked like a sheep (because I was female walking into a dealer alone) and he was the wolf. He surely proved me wrong. He introduced himself and kindly asked me how he could be of service. I told him what the situation was and he told me not to worry that he would do everything in his power to make me happy. I fell in love with a fully loaded blue Honda accord but knew it was out of my budget. He did his best to work the numbers but it was still too high. Then he looked at me, and with sincerity in his eyes state, we will find a way to make this work, and walked away. Next thing I knew he came back with the general manager and they both sat down with me. When we were done, I was signing papers to my brand new blue Honda Accord fully loaded! Never did I expect such excellent service and the ability to drive a brand new Honda that was in my budget that I LOVE!! I came from Washington, DC to purchase a Honda Civic LX from Honda of Nanuet. I had to travel that far due to the fact that no dealers in the Washington, DC area had a Silver 2011 civic LX with the 5-speed manual transmission.I had come up to the New York City area the previous week to buy a Civic from White Plains Honda. Much to my surprise, that dealership tried to play games with the price before I even got off the bus in New York City (NYC). I decided not to deal with a dealership that would not honor its commenitment.It was with some hesitation that I contacted Honda of Nanuet, after my experience the previous week in the NYC area. I was not looking forward to another trip to NYC, however, the salesperson, Arshed Naeem was very helpful. He gave me a good price in writing, and even provided me with directions on how to get to the dealership via the commuter bus line.Once I arrived at the dealership, everything was in order. The Civic looked great, and the paperwork was started so that I could start my trip back to Washington, DC. I told Arshed that I had been able to negotiate a better deal with another dealership, and he offered me an additional discount on the spot.We did run into one minor problem, with the dealership believing that I could not drive the car of the lot due to an insurance issue. Unfortunately for the Customer Service and Friendliness categories you only show a high rating of five.........Mark Stephenson deserves a 10..."GREAT+++"! He was so helpful and patient while my wife and I shopped for a Certified Used car for her. He maintained his helpful and pleasant disposition in spite of us dragging him in and out of the showroom NUMEROUS times, into 25 degree temperatures!!! After our first visit, we left without buying as I wanted to check with some other dealerships. When we got home, becausee of his helpfulness, we decided to wait and keep checking his stock on line, so we could give HIM our business. As a matter of fact, he was so good to us, when it came time for me to make a counteroffer on the vehicle we chose, I was going to offer much lower, knowing how the business works and the haggling back and forth that goes on. Instead of making Mark go back and forth with offers and counteroffers needlessly, I made an offer that I was sure would be accepted right away. We also dealt with another gentleman in Finance who was also very helpful, but, as we paid cash, really didn't have to do much for us but imput the bill of sale.

Mark Stephenson was a most congenial, informative and helpful sales rep. He went out of his way to stay connected with me from my initial visit in November through a successful sale 12/30, to the day I picked up the new Civic EX on 1/22/11. We've bought several Hondas from them over the years, always through their internet sales department (Costco, AAA). We negotiate by email and phone. I go in only to sign the contract and later to pick up the car. They have been professional and a pleasure to deal with. The only blip was years ago when a finance employee wouldn't relent on trying to sell me an extended warranty on a leased car (which would have made no financial sense to us because the Honda powertrain warranty was the same length as the lease). It was an isolated incident.

My first contact was thru Consumer Reports, where I'd asked several dealers for quotes on a Honda Pilot. Nanuet Honda was the *only* one that honored my request for initial contact to be done through email. Three weeks after my purchase at Nanuet, I'm STILL getting daily obnoxious calls from dealers more local to me in NJ. I was hesitant about going over the state line, but Glenn/Finance and Diane/Sales made it absolutely seamless. My saleswoman Diane, was fantastic! There was never any pressure, and no rushing. She was knowledgeable about the product AND its' competition. I honestly believe the smile never would have left Diane's face, had I decided to test drive every car in their lot! My finance person, Glenn, could not have made it more pleasant for me to spend my money. Like Diane, he was extremely knowledgeable. Glenn advised me on several items that in hindsight, with my limited knowledge, I never would have thought of. Even Brandon, in accessories, was a tremendous help when I returned a week later to buy a cargo cover and tray, and get some information for a future purchase on Honda's kayak racks. All in all, it was a great experience!

Stealership!!!Stay away...They apprised my 4 year old Porsche Cayenne for $14000 where KBB trade-in amount was at $22000. I was interested in purchasing a 10 year old CRV with 129k miles but they only reduced their original price by $200 to $6000, are they nuts???? Buyer beware!!!

Al Weiser was informative, experienced and professional throughout the entire experience. He never pressured or used those unsavory sales tactics car dealerships can be noted for. He explained every aspect of the vehicle, financing options, pros/cons, service records and general personal experience regarding the vehicle. Finance advisor Glenn Reggio was personable, professional, reassuring and efficient. I felt quite confident and pleased with every aspect of this sale. I highly recommend this dealership and the above named employees if anyone is purchasing a Honda.

We have known Al Weiser for over 24 years. He has a very outgoing personality and we've always known Al to be a warm and caring individual. We started doing business with him the last 3 years since he started working at Honda of Nanuet. Al has always had a passion for cars and this is very evident when you are working with him in a sales venue. He is very knowledgable about the various Honda models and makes you feel comfortable he will not sell you something he doesn't believe in.This is our second lease from Honda and we didn't even give it a second thought when he called us to let us know about the awesome incentive awaiting us. From the time My wife and I stepped in at Honda of nanuet our experience was totally satisfying. I had called previously on Alan Weiser/who was extremely helpful every step of the way. He keprt me informed on a timely basis and took the time to explain the Honda lease and went over the Honda CRV with a fine tooth comb. My wife only wanted to see the honda CRV. Alan gave me a terrific price with only what what we wanted as specified by my wife/who will be driving the CRV to work each day. She has leased CRV's several times before and was extremely satisfied. As I said Alan took the time to explain every question my wife-always with a smile. At the time of needing the proper paerwork, Alan made it look very painless and easy for us and we appreciate it very much. He called my insurance company, gave the proper info, received my temp ins card, switched the plates and turned to us a spotless car. He explained the features and benefits of the inside and set the favorite radio stations as well. I definately will refer Alan and the dealership to my family members and friends for their next car. Honda of Nanuet is extremely lucky to have such a gentleman and scholar working for them. When I walked into the service center, although she was busy, she took the time and care to ensure that my experience was great. I have bought 2 new cars from Honda of Nanuet since 2005. Both cars have been serviced exclusively by this dealership. I have been pleased with the sales and service staff. This week I purchased a used car for my daughter who recently got her license. The selection of certified used Civics was extensive and I was able to do all of my relevant research on their in-stock used car inventory right on their website (descriptions, pictures and carfax reports). I found a Civic I was interested in and contacted the internet sales department at 11AM and asked if I could get a test drive at 12:30PM the same day. Within 10 minutes of my arrival Ms. Wilson had the keys in her hand, threw a dealer plate on and told me to get on the highway and give it a good test drive.I received what I thought was a fair price for the car and the deal was done and the paperwork completed in a short amount of time.When I came to pick up the car it was ready (washed/waxed and all stickers and plates in place). I waited in the showroom for about 3 minutes and then I signed all necessary paperwork, which Ms. Wilson had organized in advance. She explained every piece of paper I was signing in detail. She then took me to the car and explained its operations. At that point I noticed it had a full tank of gas, something I know Honda of Nanuet did for all new car sales but also does for used car sales too.This was the first time I ever bought a used car and I expected that I would be treated like I was in coach class. Instead Honda of Nanuet treated me like a new car customer.

I was very pleased with the excellent service I received from this dealer. My salesman, Mark Stephenson was the best I've ever worked with. He was patient, cheerful and cooperative. What a GREAT experience! At Honda of Nanuet, NY, I bought a 2003 Civic Hybrid in 2002 and now in 2010 I could not decide to get another Hybrid or try the Fit. On Sunday, Patrick, who is very knowledgeable, was very patient with me and my questions and I told him I would return. When I came back on Tuesday, Patrick introduced me to Kamil who was just as friendly and knowledgeable. Kamil was also patient with me as I changed my mind several times. Kamil remained pleasant & smiling and accomodating throughout my time there. He was helpful in answering all of my questions, providing me with the proper forms and making sure all of my requests were granted and included. Kamil then introduced me to Joe. Joe was also friendly and knowledgeable. He provided me with an excellent price and explained what was included.Both Patrick and Kamil walked me to my new black Honda Fit and explained all of its features. I truly felt like a 'MEMBER of the FAMILY' at Honda of Nanuet! This is my fourth Honda but my 3rd dealership - it is convenient to my home but more than that- I got a great price and I already know the service department is excellent. If you want a TERRIFIC car buying experience I highly recommend getting a Honda from Honda of Nanuet, New York.

Our sales person Jeff, was honest, open and helpful. He was not pushy or overbearing as other sales people we have come across. The gentleman who helped with our warranty who I am sorry I can't remember his name, was also very informative and helpful. The manager Peter should be commended for his wonderful staff. We bought another Honda, number 6, on a Wed and picked it up on Fri and were treated with respect and I feel honestly. I intend to recommend this dealership to all.

I went into this dealership after receiving many recommendations from friends. From start to finish I had a fantastic experience with each employee that I worked with. They were very informative and friendly. Allen was able to answer all of my questions and went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. After calling a few dealers, Arshed was very helpful and gave me the best price in the tri-state area. I was able to negotiate the entire sale over the phone and all I had to do is show up at the dealership and sign the papers. My wife and I went to the dealership to purchase the car and Arshed was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain the car features. My wife was 8 months pregnant so Arshed ask us to sit at Angelo Alvarez desk. Angelo show up and give us a attitude for sitting at his desk ( let me remind you my wife is 8 months pregnant ). Arshed comes back with the paperwork and as we are filling the paperwork, Angelo comes back to his desk and says " At least we are buying a car". Let me warn you, I would never , never buy a car from salesperson you has an issue with a 8 month pregnant lady sitting at his desk!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is the first time that a sales person spent so much time with me and the new car to explain all the features of the vehicle and encouraged me to come back with any questions. We are multi-repeat customers to the dealership at the end of a lease on a 2008 Civic we wanted to replace with a 2010 Civic. We did not want to put as much down as for the last Civic given that the 2010s are now on clearance, but wanted to keep the monthly cost stable. Patrick was eager to get us into the new Civic but not so sanguine about the down payment number we were offering. He did the "let me go check with my manager" not just once but 3 times, the last of which lasted an overnight...but in the end he was able to make the deal...and not just on another Civic but he upgraded to the next trim-alloy wheels, 6 speaker audio, power moonroof.

Kamil Wojcik, the sales rep, was not only conscientious, helpful and knowledgeable, but also a really pleasant person to work with. He went out of his way to assist us, and complied with all our requests. If he said he would call with specific information, he did so promptly. He even changed his day off to accommodate us due to my wife's schedule. I would recommend Honda of Nanuet without reservation. Make sure to ask for Kamil for a great car buying experience.Joe Gutierrez, the business manager, was also a very friendly and helpful person to work with. He assisted us with financing, and made some very worthwhile suggestions. Both of these people are assets to Honda of Nanuet, and made the car buying experience a very pleasant one.

I shopped around for a few weeks for a used Accord at many different dealerships, and my experience at Honda of Nanuet was perfect. The dealership was over a 90-minute commute from where I live and work, but it was absolutely worth it.Pat came through on all promises, no feeling of being pushed into buying. Knowledgeable, made sure I was happy, valued me as a customer, and made me feel like he wanted my business. Glen went out of his way to make my payments affordable. Everything was done right the first time, and both guys kept me in the loop and followed up with me frequently - even after I signed for the car.Erica in Service was extremely friendly and courteous.Can not emphasize how great of an experience this was. Kamil was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the accord. He was matter of fact about the pricing and worked with us to get the best price possible. In addition, the finance manager was extremely helpful in reducing the principle and interest. Last but not least, the whole team stayed approx 90 minutes after hours to get the deal accomplished. I had purchased a used 06 Accord two years ago for commuting purposes. I always had a very positive experience with the car and the service department I was in the market for a new SUV or equivalent and stupidly tried to deal with Hyundai. When they started playing games with my Accord trade-in I went back to Honda of Nanuet, met Patrick in sales and bought a new Crosstour, which I absolutely love! Having dealt with Audi, Infiniti and BMW, the experience here was as good if not better.I would recommend Patrick to anyone interested in buying a Honda and, like the other reviewers on this site, have nothing but great things to say about the service department. This is as good as it gets in buying a car--and I've been doing that for over 40 years!

I purchased a new Honda Ridgeline in March of 2010. Angelo my salesman went over everything about the vehicle. He showed me all the specials Honda was having and let me figure out the best option for my company for leasing. I checked around and it was the best price. I own a company and buy vehicles all the time for my business and this is the best dealership I have dealt with. They always give great pricing and excellent service. Angelo goes above and beyond as a salesman. I will be going back to them in the future and referring people to them.

I gave this rating because I was very impressed with the professionalism and courtesy of the Salesman Patrick Wysocki. My wife and I were both very saisfied with the entire experience. I have bought many cars before but this is the first time I felt I was treated fairly and not pressured. My 3rd Honda Accord lease came to an end Mid May. I visited Nanuet Honda with my brother-in-law .Neither one of us thought to walk away signing a contract but we did! The reason boils down to friendly service from a knowledgeable and professional sales person who answered all our questions without being too pushy. In addition, given there was a price range we both wanted to hit, it was pleasant to have someone who did not have a "take it or leave it" attitude but rather was open to negotiating.Congratulations to Honda Nanuet, especially Angelo and Glenn.

I had bought a Honda CRV from this dealership in 2002 and was pleased by the staff. I had brought the CRV there for service and never had a bad experience with the service staff. Everyone was friendly and knowlegeable. So when it came time to buy a new car I immediately went to Honda of Nanuet. Patrick Wysocki was able to answer all questions and explained my new Civic in a friendly manner. I would recommend Honda of Nanuet to anyone looking for a new car.

Glenn, Patrick and Pete (in alpha order)were all wonderful in helping me with my new lease. Kamil was extremely friendly and was proactive in approaching us when we were in the showroom (we had been standing in the showroom for approx. 5-10 minutes before being approached by Kamil who had apparently just finished up with another customer outside). He is very eager to please his customers and was extremely courteous, going out of his way to ensure that our experience was pleasant. Kamil clearly demonstrates that he is passionate about his job and client service piece of the business. Bottom line is that I can say he understands business and the right way of conducting himself.He provided thoughtful information on both the vehicles we purchased which aided in making our decision when comparing to other vehicles we had researched. Kamil's service extended all the way through the date of close when he gave us a thorough walkthrough the features on the cars and assisted in setting up some of the features for the car (i.e. bluetooth).Should I shop for another car in the future and should I refer a family member or friend, I would specifically ask for Kamil based on all of the above and more. I have been a Honda owner since 2002 and with all the satisfaction I have had with my previous purchases, never had I had such a positive experience with a sales representative. My experience at Honda of Nanuet was great. I did not have to deal with any of the hassles I had when I visited other dealerships. I was able to ask for what I wanted, and received that in return. The salesman Michael Lafayette & business manager Glenn Reggio were very helpful, professional and made the process very easy. I have such a wonderful experience with the sales team at Nanuet Honda..They were incredibly friendly and very efficient! I had gone to a few other Honda dealers and they were a dissapointment. Honda of Nanuet was able to put me in the car I wanted at a price I was comfortable with. their proffessionalism and kindness was refreshing. Never have we ever experienced a more delightful purchase episode as we did with Honda of Nanuet. We saw the car on Optimum Auto,made an appointment, it was exactly as stated and as soon as we walked in the door and met Euna and then Paul we experienced a positive attitude. The Odyssey is our 2nd one and if we ever need to purchase a used car again we will definately purchase it from Honda of Nanuet.

Dominick Garretson always takes good care of both of my Honda vechiles when i come in for service. He is a true gentleman and the waiting room is very clean and also has wifi service. They also have a shuttle service to take you to work if you need to.

This is the 5th car we have purchased through Honda of Nanuet. We always get a good deal, are treated with respect and receive excellent service. Our sales representative, Arshed, was very responsive and worked within our time frame. We have looked at other dealerships, including other Honda dealerships in the area, and we always wind up coming back to Honda of Nanuet.

I have bought two cars from Honda of Nanuet this year. They do a better job at dealing with people who prefer to interact via E-mail and or on the phone than most other car dealers. Their prices are reasonable and in some cases better than competitors and their service is excellent. I found that many dealers claim that they want to do anything to get the business but most really don't. Honda of Nanuet is better here too. When I am ready to buy my next car, I will check with this dealership first. I did not mind driving over an hour to get to this dealership which is located in a different state from where I live. It was worthwhile.

My 2006 Honda Accord EX was purchased new at Honda of Nanuet. This is the only place where my car is serviced at Honda of Nanuet. And, since the inception in servicing my vehicle; I have dealt with only one service advisor Dominck Garretson who has gotten to know me and knows my vehicle. I can only say positive things about Honda of Nanuet and their professionalism. In 2011 I will probably trade my car in and purchase another Honda Accord EX at Honda of Nanuet, as I am extremely satisified with the vehicle.

To whom It May Concern: The windshield washer fluid on my 2009 Honda CR-V was leaking leaving a puddle in my garage floor. I went to speak with Dominick Garretson about this problem. This was a great experience for me - Mr. Garretson was extremely courteous and very professional. The problem was diagnosed and new parts were ordered. I was notified 2 days later by Mr. Garretson that the parts were received, The following day, Friday - Jan. 22, 2010 I brought my car for servicing and the work was accomplished in less than one hour. I was due for a NY state vehicle inspection of my 2003 Honda Accord before the end of the month (January). I went to the dealership on Friday (1/22/10) without an appointment. They not only performed the inspection, but rather than my scheduling another visit, they suggested and were able to perform the 75000 mile service. The service advisor quickly made me aware of two minor additional items that required attention. Once I agreed to the charges, all the work was performed in an expeditious manner and I was on my way in about 2 hours. In addition, I appreciated periodic updates regarding when my vehicle would be ready. The advisor (Dominick) also offered advice on required service for my 2003 Honda Pilot which is due for periodic maintenance as well as a timing belt change.

On 1/19/2010 the rims and tires on my car were stolen. My auto insurance company suggested that I contact the dealer and get a quote on replacement rims and tires. The service team at Honda of Nanuet showed a great deal of effort in making sure my vehicle which I purchased exactly two years ago was taken care of. Within a day and a half my replacement rims/tires were ordered. Erica along with a Honda Tech came to where my vehicle was located a few miles from Honda and put new rims/tires on my car, and took it back to the dealer. While I was at work, my vehicle was receiving VIP treatment as they inspected it making sure no furthur damage was done as well as talking to my claims adjuster informing of what was done. The start of a horrible week, turned great thanks to the folks over at Honda of Nanuet.

We knew that the Honda was a quality car and was a good value for the price. What made us decide to buy from this dealer was the manner in which we were treated at the dealership. Our sales person's approach made us very comfortable and he took the time to answer all our concerns. I went to Honda of Nanuet on 1/07/2010 to get an oil change & NYS inspection, which i always to get any kind of service done there. As soon as i pull in, i'm greeted immediately by their many lot attendants which then directs me to the next available service writer, I usually wait for Dominick or Erica because they greets me with a hand shake, & both plain genuine when speaking to me like they've knew me for years also both great with communicating all issues & concerns upfront so they're no surprises at the end. I work for the city of new york & time is always a problem for me but at Honda of Nanuet they've always been honest with time or beat their timing. While I'm waiting in the comfortable waiting room, there is always refreshments, snacks & the television to help the time go by. I bought my car from honda of Nanuet 11/07 & my sales man Angelo was correct when he said he had a pretty good service team to match his selling skills. I recommend honda of nanuet to everyone even if your make or model isn't a Honda..

Bought a new Honda '10 CR-V EX 4WD. Not the worst experience really, not too bad. The price was negotiated to invoice and they honored it. The only problem was they padded the doc/title fees, reaching nearly $385. The finance sales manager wanted to push options I didn't want, but didnt push too hard when I said no. The salesman Prang seemed like an ok guy, no issues. Overall, not too bad. Worked out well, drove off the lot in about 3 hours (they prepped/unwrapped the car on the spot) and it was pretty good. I think if you are forceful and get to a price you feel comfortable with, you won't feel too burnt.

Update attributes in AttributeSetHome?WorkflowSearchoperator - WPAST -> between?I brought my Accord for state inspection> I also pointed to some shimmy of the steering wheel at high speed and asked their quote on timing belt replacement.I was told that the reason of the shimmy is wheel disbalance which they promised to fix. Later they called me saying that passenger brake light is burned out and they have to replace it to pass the inspection. They also told me that I have to replace ALL 4 rotors and front brakes immediately. The quote for timing belt was reasonable but included mandatory spark plug change ($300). I went for the second opinion to a reputable shop and this what I got:1. Burnt bulb - Honda price: $36 - Actual work - 6 wrist motions and $1.50 bulb.2. Rotors - Honda price: $1000 - Actuality - replacement is not needed - perfectly re-surfacable. Resurfacing - $100.3. Brakes - Honda pricing: $300 - Actuality - breaks in good shape - 5mm of pad left.4. Timing belt - Honda extra for spark plugs: $300 - Actuality - no replacement needed.So, Nanuet Honda service tried to sell me not needed work for about $1400. And, adding insult to injury, they re-balanced my wheels badly and I had to re-do it in a different shop.

This was the worst dealership I have ever been to. When we walked in it took 5-10 minutes for someone to actually approach us. After waiting for a while, we met with Ronaldo. He seemed ok at first although you can tell he was fake and had your typical "BS" salesman pitch even though he was trying to sound like he was direct. After going on the test drive, we got back to the dealership and he came back with this sheet of numbers showing the different lease and finance options. These prices were by far the highest numbers I have seen for the type of car we were looking for. I researched a number of different dealerships and Honda of Nanuet by far had all of their lease and finance prices about 45% higher than what they should be. The kid Ronaldo brings back his sales manager(after one second of showing us the price list) and then comes the little "speech". The sales manager said - "yeah I'm sorry but Honda isn't going to budge on any of these prices - there isn't much we can do".... He didn't work with us at all and it was the quickest experience we have ever had at a dealership. A week later we went to another dealership about 15 minutes from Nanuet and we got the same vehicle we test drove at Nanuet but the price was what we were looking for. Nanuet Honda is the worst and they should think of a new approach because the one they have is horrible. A few other people I know that went to Honda of Nanuet had very similar experiences - Zero Negotiation and horrible customer service.

Honda of nanuet is always quick to turn your car down instead of fixing the problem. They have lost my car for over 2 hours for a 45 min. oil change. If it means lost of money from their pocket dont even bother bringingyour car to them. One would believe working with the customer to build a repor with the community would help boost the income of the dealorship. I will never ever suggest anyone to go to Honda of Nanuet again. My family has bought from them for many of years. (ie) 1990 Accord, 2001 Accord, and 06 Civic. Dennis Cliff from service, Hope & Irvin S. from sales and reception, and the parts guys, are the only people at Honda who have ever acknowledged me; a 21 year old man as a Human being. I own my car, i made the payments on my car, and i still get treated as a kid. I dont understand what kind of business this dealorship is running, but i will promise you, if your not dealing with people like the ones i listed, you wont be happy, and they will make decisions on their pocket instead of yours. If your a young person and do not dress a certain way i can guaranty they will try and get over what ever they can on you. I used to own a 2004 Acura TL at 16 years old, and i was treated with more dignity and respect from the Ramsey dealorship than i am here at Honda of Nanuet. Thank you Dennis, Hope and Irvin S. the parts guys and the reception counter, for you individuals are what make this dealorship pleasent.

IT WAS THE QUICKEST TIME I WAS EVER IN A DEALERSHIP, AND THERE WAS JUST NO WAY THEY WOULD TRY AND WORK ON NUMBERS FOR ME TO SEE IF I COULD GET A HONDA THERE. I PURPOSELY WENT THERE BECAUSE THEY ARE CLOSEST TO WHERE I LIVE, BUT ENDED UP GETTING TREATED MUCH BETTER AT MAHWAH HONDA AND HONDA OF PARAMUS.

I brought in my Civic Hybrid just before the warranty expired, complaining of the gas mileage. I'm getting 26 mpg in suburban driving, 30 in mixed. They told me there would be a $120 diagnostic fee charged. The rep had a "take it or leave it" attitude. Avoid this dealer!

This dealer consistently has given me less than satisfactory service .Their main objective is to get your $$ and get you out of the place...On 6 servicecalls , I had, on 5 of these occasions , had to bring the vehicle back and have them complete or resolve what I paid for.

I bought my car used at Honda of Nanuet. I have taken my car in for service at least three times and on a couple of other occasions for minor work. The review above answers the question Why in the following ways:Major Service - which includes oil change, tire rotation, etc. is extremely over priced in my opinion. I will go elsewhere for most of this service in the future. $300 to $350 for this kind of service is not a good value.Electronics - I think the main value of Honda of Nanuet's Service department is to figure out electronic problems with their diagnostic equipment. Having said this, the first time we brought our car in for diagnostic testing, it came back with an electronic problem which it did not have before. When we brought the car in to rectify this, the service manager attempted to charge us $110 to diagnose the problem. After a considerable discussion, he relented to my refusal to pay this seemingly unjust charge. When I brought my car back in for two electronic problems, one which had never been fixed from before, we came away with both problems addressed and fixed. However, one problem cost approximately $300 in labor for approximately 2 hours of work. (This did not include the cost of the part.) Again, the cost of labor at this facility is too high.) One electronic problem with the radio display was brought to Honda of Nanuet's attention and the car was in the shop for nearly 5 days for this problem (along with one of the problems mentioned above) which was never fully addressed. I still haven't given up on Honda, but I think there are things which could make much more excited about the service at this dealership such as better prices for service and fixing problems the first time without extra charges for diagnosis.

We chose Honda of Nanuet as the first Honda dealership we visited. We were not greeted by anyone when we walked in and had to go to the front desk to ask for someone to assist us. We then waited about 5 minutes for someone to help. We were happy with the friendliness of the salesman and he was quick to quote us a price and then we told him that we will think about it because we had to wait for a check from our insurance company before we purchased the car. We then sat down with the financial guy and he was also pretty pleasant at first. When we got home I researched other dealers prices by sending them the quote I received for a 36-month lease and see if anyone else can do any better. Within 10 min, I received a quote from another local dealership which saved me over $30 a month than Nanuet was offering for the same exact car. I then called Nanuet back and they were not pleased that I went with the other dealership and the guy was very rude and condecending after I told him I was not interested anymore. On top of that they did not refund our $100 deposit, and we are still waiting for a refund (2 weeks after). We called the other day and they said it was just credited. It seems like the other dealership was more interested in our business and pursued us to make the deal with them, and we gave Nanuet a chance to match the offer and they only matched and did not do better and the other dealership was able to come down more. It was just not a good experience with Nanuet. Not to say they were not nice to us in the beginning, but the prices often start out high, so just make sure you negociate. I can not recommend this dealer though.

I just bought a 2006 Civic and the entire experience could not have been better. After years of dealing with pushy salesman that made me truly dread buying a new car, I decided to try getting a quote online.I received a great, honest quote immediately from Honda of Nanuet. They included ALL the costs and were completely straight-forward with me. I had dealt with 2 other Honda and 2 Toyota dealerships in the area and had to run away from the obnoxious and pushy salesman. Why do they have to be that way? Nothing makes me want to buy a car from you less than to have you try to push me into a fast decision. Just let the car sell itself. Be there to answer my questions, but don't push me.Mike and Vanessa could not have been more low key. No pressure at all. No annoying unsolicited phone calls.Thanks to their excellent service I will DEFINITELY go back to buy my next Honda there.
