Scott is a phenomenal sales representative. The process of buying a car can be overwhelming and daunting, no less. Working with Scott, he exudes and demonstrates the highest level of customer service and care. I appreciate Scott's honesty as to what my desires and budget could afford. Scott work with the financial parameters of what my wife and I could afford. I never expected walking out the door with a brand-new car! The patience and details made the experience going back in the future. Scott, made the process less cumbersome and complex. Pretty fluid and seamless. The team also made getting into new car feasible. I truly appreciate Scott's professionalism and being courteous. He went above and beyond to make our car buying experience a pleasant process.

The vehicle price listed in out the door quote was $1,000 more than the vehicle price given in writing. Lack of concern and communication by employees, even to express it was a mistake on their part, nothing... Unprofessional and disappointing, as I would have driven the 12+ round trip to purchase a vehicle.

After working with Dustin and Doug (Sales Manager) on the pricing for a 2013 Lexus RX 350 we agreed to meet at a specific time on Friday to confirm value of my trade in and complete paperwork. I offered to put a deposit down on the Lexus and it was indicated that wasn't necessary. I emailed and texted today to confirm timing (driving from Denver to Colorado Springs) and was told that the car was sold the night before. I was not contacted ahead of time nor would I have been notified if I had not reached out myself (despite being asked by Doug to extend him the courtesy of notifying him of my inability to show or need to reschedule as that is what he would (of course) do). In fact, I was then called (about an hour later) by their appointment team to confirm what time I was supposed to arrive and ensure that still worked for me. Dustin (sales guy) texted to say that he would be in touch if the sale didn't go through as it was contingent on an inspection. After waiting over 6 hours for a response I emailed and called. Sales Associate that responded saying 'yes the car is still available' (but never responded to my follow up email) and the phone call informed me that yes the car was in fact sold. Doug and Dustin never once apologized or asked for any way to try to make the situation right. I wouldn't recommend this to dealership to anyone. Shoppers beware.

Scott did a good job finding the car I wanted and getting it sold fast once I made a decision. There was some of the normal game play with any car sale of making me put some money down to hold it whether there was actually others that interested or not. The finance guy really tried to sell me the extra warranty until he realized I bought the TDI and not the gas turbo and then he backed off a little. It has been a year now and Scott still gave me the first free oil change as he said he would in the beginning when I thought I would be driving more and needing them more often, Overall, I was satisfied with the buying process at Bob Penkhus in Motor City. I would go back if they had a vehicle I wanted again.

Dave Cotton is by far, the best car salesman I have ever worked with. He made the entire car purchase process easy. I went in with a specific car in mind; he didn't push for a pricier car even though I had been pre-approved for much more. The finance guy was also a pleasure to work with. Dave was fantastic! I wrecked my vehicle and had less than a week to find another one with a tight budget. He totally hooked me up with a perfect vehicle and is pretty close to exactly what I was saving up to buy next anyway. He totally worked with me, and since I bought a used vehicle he made sure everything was up to safety standards and beyond. I called the dealership to inquire about a used car they had online. I was able to negotiate a good price over the phone. I live in a nearby state so I told them I would have to fly in to purchase the vehicle. They picked me up at the airport! I arrived at the dealership and the buying process was great. Great customer service, got a great price. I would definitely buy here again.

My old car was dying on me so we stopped at bob penkhus mazda to look at cars. The salesman was very helpful. When I go to a dealership I always prepare myself for a fight. Arguing over price and how much the car is worth. I was surprised when we were looking we found a car we liked and the price was set reasonable, they didn't try to add a few thousand or say its worth five grand more than it was. I am very impressed and when we go to get another car i am definitely going to give them the first shot to see what they have. very impressed! glad we went there first.

I met with Brian Garside, and he helped me find exactly what I was looking for. They didn't pressure me into buying anything, and let me take me time. I went to the dealership at least three times before buying. Brian would follow up with me to make sure I was still interested and tell me about new cars they got in. Happy Birthday to me. I had an appointment with Brian Garside 2 days before my birthday and they gave me an offer, but I was just shopping around, so I wasn't in the mind frame to buy that day. From day one Brian told me he would work hard to make sure I get what I wanted. I didn't believe him, I just thought he just want the sale. Few days later I call Brian to let him know I recieve a better offer and if they could match it they would get my business. To my surprise Brian and his manager call me a few days later and said we can do that and when I went to get my CX-5 they gave me even more great news. Brian wasn't pushy and he listen to what I wanted. He was honest and direct. First, my husband would like to let it be known that the music at Bob Penkhus Mazda was on point, now that that is out of the way.... We called David Cotton on a Thursday after 5pm about a used truck we seen online. We explained our extremely unique situation, and he held our hand through the entire buying process. The following Monday we meet Mr. Cotton at the dealership. The dealership was clean and comfortable, and Mr. Cotton couldn't have been nicer. As I stated before, our situation was extremely unique, but he handled it like a boss. He went out of his way to make sure we got to drive our new truck home that day. On Oct 23rd I came to the dealership to look, and made an appointment for the next day with Jordan Malone. When I arrived, he was waiting outside for me with a huge smile on his face. That day, I bought/leased a new Mazda 3 from the BEST sales consultant -Jordan Malone! He was very professional and knowledgeable. But what I appreciated the most was that he treated me with such respect and dealt with all my concerns and needs. He spent an immense amount of time showing me all my options and answering all my questions. Jordan had to find the car I wanted with a certain color and he had it delivered and all the paperwork completed very quickly. I never felt pressured and it was a pleasure working with him. He gave me great service and before I left he installed my phone to the car and followed up with a phone call to make sure everything was working correctly. My experience was also very pleasant because Reece Conway, the General Manager took the time to meet with me and give me his business card and reassure me that if I ever needed anything, he would certainly assist me. Great used car buying experience. Went to the dealership after viewing vehicle online. Sales people were helpful and not pushy. They also gave me a good price for my trade in. Came back to the dealership to have another key made for the car, as promised by the salesman in writing, and was treated very nice. Great popcorn while I waited. This is the second and third Mazda we have bought as a family. The first one was a Mazda 3 2012, After 51,000 miles in three years we were sold on Mazda. They take care of the customer, they treat you like they have known you forever and the service people know the cars. We traded one Mazda 3 2012 and Bought a Mazda CX-3 2016 and a Mazda 3 2015. all with in two weeks. The look of the cars are great, the inside is very classy and they drive like a dream. I am in the CX-3 6-8 hours a day and I need a car that is comfortable. Plenty of get up and go to the engine and comfort inside. Nothing else needed. Brian Garside is our salesman and he knows his cars. Sat with us in the car to explain how all the features worked. I would recommend anyone needing a car go see Brian Garside.

I arrived for my appointment, and just a couple minutes after arrival I was greeted and logged in. About 45 minutes later the service advisor came out and told me that my brakes were in good condition and did not need to be replaced. He told me I should think about replacing the spark plugs. I had been noticing a slight hesitation in the engine when it was heat soaked. My thoughts were he's correct about the spark plugs and I told him to go ahead and put a set in. That was a good call on the mechanic side of the business, the hesitation is completely gone.

So I knew I wanted a Jeep Patriot, and this dealership had exactly what I was looking for, so I went to check them out. I was greated by Brian Garside, who I must say will be the only guy I buy a car from, as long as he is still selling them. Everyone there was very helpful and made sure I got exactly what I wanted. The finance guy we had even put on a movie for our 2 young kids while we talked and signed paper work!!! There is no better place to buy a car in Colorado Springs in my opinion!!

I recently last Friday picked up my 2016 MX 5 Miata from Bob Penkhus Mazda off Woodman. I never thought I'd be saying this but my experience was amazing. My sales support Kenneth is a true professional - you must request him when arriving at dealership . This guys knows customer service !!! I came in saw the car waited five minutes went into finance and was out of there in 25 minutes max. No pressure very accommodating of my needs or questions. This experience is not the norm - on my lifetime this is the only time I enjoyed purchasing a car !!!! If your looking I highly suggest go to this dealship New Car Druve - ask for Ken and prepare yourself for an enjoyable ride. I forgot to mention the car was clean ready to roll only 7 miles on it - just the way I like it. I suggest letting them show the functions in your car - I didn't and ended up calling back for a question or two... My fault not theirs !!! Good luck w your new car but even better luck finding a MX 5 Mista - Ha!!!!

Called before the July 4th holiday to discuss repairs to my Rx7. I spoke to the service technician and explained the modifications that had been made to the car. He told me to bring it in after the holiday. I paid to have it towed down there. He looked at it and said they did not want to work on it because of the modifications. The Service manager will not even help me out with the towing to return the car to me.

Grayson was my sales representative and he went out of his way to help me buy my Infiniti G25X, even meeting me halfway in Castle Rock as I live in Denver. It was worth the trip to get friendly service, and a good deal. Even though I had to go through the usual back and forth to reach a price, they gave me top dollar on my trade-in. Also want to mention Dave in the service department was very straightforward. To qualify my title a little: this is my sixth car purchase; I was keen to return to the Mazda family this time around. Upon arriving at the dealership with a car in mind I worked with Ivan and Vern on my purchase. They were both very open and honest in negotiating the deal with me. I felt I got a fair value on my trade-in and on the overall price of the vehicle. When a few post-purchase issues were found they were exceptionally quick to resolve them to my satisfaction. They epitomized standing behind their product! Overall the entire purchase experience was much less painful than I was expecting or prepared for. From the time we walked in the door, the staff at Bob Penkhus was very welcoming and professional - as well as efficient. I wasn't sure whether I'd love the car I went to look at - but I never felt pressured in any way to do anything I didn't want to do. The decision was totally mine - and the car was perfect for me! I love that there wasn't that hardcore approach to selling - and that they went out of the way to make sure all of our questions (mine and my husband's) were answered with sincerity, and without that "salesman" attitude! I recently had the displeasure of visiting Bob Penkhus Mazda and I'll tell you why. When I arrived, I was greeted by Mr. Cotton. At first, it was explained how low pressure it was, "We'll try to find you a great deal and if we don't come to a deal we depart as friends." I soon came to realize that I had walked into literally the most high pressure car shopping experience of my life! I was given little time to make decisions and the attitude of the situation was "All that matters is your payments, right?" Wrong. It seemed as I was his best friend while test driving and when i needed time consider the deal I was a nuisance. The experience was very unpleasant and I would not consider doing business with BPM in the future.

I recently purchased a vehicle from their lot that was an AMAZING deal. When we walked on the lot we knew that there was going to be a swarm of sales associates trying to get our attention. Brian Garside asked if we need any help trying to find a vehicle we told him that we were just looking and he backed away (AMAZING right) we eventually found 2 cars that we would like to drive the sales manager was very helpful getting Brian to get us the keys to test drive. Brian Garside was a great salesman! Speaking as a sales person I can say he did all the right things even after I wrote the check for my new car. He was attentive, knowledgeable and very nice. He called me back right away and answered all of my questions in a timely manner. When it took longer than expected to detail my car after I purchased it he made sure to stop by and talk to me every 15 minutes or so. He even brought me a swag bag with lots of fun stuff in it. I don't know if that's SOP for your sales staff but it was nice. The guy that took my check tried to up-sell me on the warranty and financing (it's his job) but wasn't pushy when I said "no". The guy that detailed my car missed a few spots but I know he was probably trying to get it done quick so I didn't have to wait too long. The body shop fixed some scratches and dents and while it's not perfect it looks much better than it it did. I was a little disappointed that they wanted to charge me extra to fix a crack in the front bumper. The show room and waiting area are OK but could use some work. Most dealerships I have been to have complementary beverages (one had a barrista) and snacks with very comfortable seating.

We purchased a used car from Bob Penkus in June 2014. We had our vehicle totaled by hail and were not looking forward to the experience as we had a bad experience with another local dealership. We found our used 2013 Chrysler 200 on Cars.com and furthered our review of the vehicle on the Bob Penkus website as well as reviewed comparable vehicles elsewhere. We found that the Price at Bob Penkus was around $2000 less then any comparable vehicle! We then contacted the dealer by phone and were put in contact with Brian Garside who assisted us through our purchase. I had great support from my salesman, Bill Hutto! I noticed a high mileage Venza on their lot and wanted to take a look at it. I called the next day and talked to Bill and he said it was being processed that day for auction and was no longer on the lot. Thinking it was a dead end, I received a call from Bill a half hour later telling me that if I really wanted to see it, they would bring the car back the next day. They did and I went. I did my homework ahead of time just in case this car had what I wanted. It did and I worked with Bill and he became my advocate with his manager to make the deal fit within my budget. Because of their Value Pricing, they didn't have much room to wiggle, but with Bill's help we were able to agree on a purchase price with my trade-in, contingent upon a mechanics inspection of the Venza. A couple of items came up with the inspection and I offered to split the cost of the items. They could easily have walked away from the deal, but they chose to make the deal work and they now have a new customer for the future. I also really enjoyed working with their sales mgr, Mike Clemison. Thanks, Bill, Mike, and Bob Penkhus Mazda..

I had my leather seats installed after purchase. The front passenger seat split at the seam. I expected the seam to be repaired. I received a loaner identical to mine and was allowed to keep it during the repair, which took longer than we expected. When it was finished. Brian delivered it to my work, clean and with gas. I was and am very pleased!

Everything about my experience at this dealership was amazing! I was met promptly by Brian Garside who ended up walking me through the whole sales process at just the right pace. Brian provided me with several options to choose from based on my budget and made sure that I knew all the details so I could make the right choice. Once I picked a car we took it for a test drive on a route that closely represented my daily commute so I could get a real feel for the car. As for the paperwork, all my questions were answered, they gave me a great price and in the end, I felt very comfortable signing the lease papers. Needless to say, I drove off in a new Mazda3 knowing that I made the right choice. Thanks to Brian for making this experience a great one!

I just purchased a 2006 Hummer H2 from Bob Penkhus Mazda at Powers and Woodman Rd . What a pleasant experience! Our sales associate Ivan Muniz was the most professional I have ever dealt with buying cars. He is the man. You won't find a better person to buy a car from anywhere. He went out of his way to make sure that I knew each step of the process and what I was getting. He also knew his product incredibly well. We purchased a 2010 Toyota RAV 4 and a 2002 Toyota Camry. Our sales representative, Ivan Muniz, was very courteous and helpful. He listened well and offered many possible selections for us at the time. They even brought some vehicles over from another one of their locations that we were interested in, saving us further trips. The cars we tested drove well. The cars had been previously serviced by the mechanics at Bob Penkus and were very well prepared for delivery. The finance process was very good and they try to find the best rates through the variety banks they use. They all really work hard to please.

I had very good experience. The salesman, Ivan was friendly and helpful and made it very easy to do business with them. I drove down from Fort Collins early Saturday morning, test drove the car, worked out the deal and was back in Fort Collins by one o:clock that afternoon. I would definitely buy from them again.

I bought my car December 27th and was promised all my repairs would be done. 6 weeks later and 4 loaner cars I finally get my car back. This was the worst car buying experience of my life! They promise and promise and never follow through! Do not buy a car here! I feel we were extremely patient and kind they never even had to worry about any financing. We paid cash for the car. Terrible place to buy a vehicle!

I'm sure this has happened before but I dealt fairly, openly and honestly with the sales rep, I brought in a pre-qualified loan, drove the vehicle and was an hour into the process when he came in and said the vehicle was sold. We contacted these guys, drove an hour one way to see them, told them we were buying and still it was sold out from under us. Maybe there was a good reason for that but I have a good reason for rating this dealer as "poor".

I hope this gets back to the dealership where I purchased my car ( Bob Penkhus). I recently came into to look at a car that maybe someday I would get. Needless to say I fell in Love with a Volvo C70. My sales guys name was Kevin and he was training a new guy (sorry don't remember his name), anyways they talked me into a test drive and it wasn't just some little test drive down the road they said go where ever you want and take as long as you need. 2days later I went into the dealership and purchased my new car. From the moment I arrived I was treated like I was the only person in the room. Kevin and his boss were so amazing. Once the deal was done, Kevin drove me to my new car that was parked in the show room with a huge red ribbon on it, I wanted to just give him a huge hug. I have bought many cars from allot of different dealers and I can truly say that Kevin and Bob Penkhus has the most wonderful customer service ever... I will only purchase from them in my future car buying... I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you so much for making this a very wonderful experience... Lets face it usually buying a car is horrible!

So There I was...Two weird negative points- Made what I thought was a completed signed offer. Unfortunately when it was time to deliver, it was a case of over promising/late delivery. I got the management team engaged and they were able to make corrections and honor the signed purchase agreement.- Dealership added ~$850 in fees to their attractive no haggle price. So when you go in make sure you understand the Out the Door Price for new and used cars.Positives:The truck was in the condition they said it was (I found 4 mis-represented vehicles in supposedly retail condition that wasn't)We were able to work through the issues and close the deal...at a great price.

We bought our Volvo at Bob Penkhus. We not only got a great price, but they also were able to get better finance terms with our credit union than we had made for ourselves. When our car developed problems, they took the time to thoroughly diagnose and repair the problem. While doing so, they found several other issues and fixed them at no cost to us. And to top it all off, they washed the car when they were done with it. You find out about a company when there is a problem. Bob Penkhus Volvo went above and beyond requirements for us; I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I went there to look at a used 2008 Cadillac Cts I was treated very well. Mr. Penkhus Came out and dealt with me directly, and they gave me such a good deal on the car that I purchased it. I will absolutely return to them when it is time for me to buy my next car. I looked around at just about every dealer in the area and none of them treated me as well as Penkhus Mazda did. I would rate them a 10....
