we were extremely pleased with our buying experience. the employees were very friendly and hospitable, our salesperson, alex mcmullin, was very helpful with information about the product we were interested in and getting our deal worked out. the sales manager and credit manager we met and dealt with worked with us to finalize our deal and get everything ready done for us that we needed.

I had my 2016 CRV serviced for an oil change and tire rotation and 20000 mile service. My service advisor Josh McConnie was professional and ready to serve me. The service was efficient and a complete check of all the systems was completed in a short time. The waiting area is very nice with comfortable seating and a large screen TV, wi-fi and work stations and free coffee and donuts too! Thank you Josh!

I bought a car the process was fairly easily and I was initially happy. A day after I got the vehicle home I noticed the moonroof was not working. I brought the vehicle in and was told to bring it in the next day it would need to be sent to another shop for all day repairs. I did that. At the end of the day which was thursday(august 10, 2016), I was told it needed a part that would need to be ordered and would be in on friday. Well friday comes and I was told the part would be in on monday. Here it is saturday aug 20 and the status of my vehicle is still unknown. I was told the repairs hasn't even been started because they were waiting on the lender to verify the warranty on the vehicle which makes no sense. The dealership covered me with a 60 day warranty and I bought a 4 year extended warranty. I had not even had the vehicle for a week which mean even if I had not purchase any additional coverage they were still liable for anything that went wrong with it in those first 60 days.

The lot for this dealership is tiny, which means there is very little inventory to choose from. The sales person I had to deal with was apathetic and rude. Judging from the other reviews, my experience wasn't an isolated incident.

10 months ago, I would have given this business a 5-star review after our purchase of a used 2002 Honda CRV AWD.But ... last week, due to a need for routine repairs, we discovered that the vehicle is missing the rear drive shaft which makes it a two-wheel drive vehicle. The car was sold "as is" but at the time of purchase we had no way of knowing that the part required for AWD was missing. We feel ripped off. I have been told by the dealer that there's nothing we can do about it. While I recognize that almost a year has passed since the sale, we feel that we were intentionally misled about the condition of the car and asked the dealer to install the missing part.Having reported the issue to the BBB after getting no satisfaction over the phone, this DEALER REPLIED, "The vehicle was sold "As Is" with 196,006 miles. Our service department did a 50 point safety inspection and the rear drive shaft was checked, so it was on the vehicle when delivered. We also spent over 800.00 to repair the AC and perform the 50 point inspection. On 6/29/2016 nearly 11 months after purchase I received a call from the customer about the rear drive shaft missing. I'm not sure when this part went missing from the time it was purchased until now but it was definitely on the vehicle when purchased." MY RESPONSE to the dealer's unsatisfactory reply: It simply is not the case that the rear drive shaft was there when we purchased the vehicle. We had no idea this was the case until the vehicle was taken in for service on 6/28/16. Unless someone got under the vehicle in some parking lot and stole it, it wasn't there when we purchased the vehicle. I don't think that this being an "as is" sale is at all relevant because the dealership sold us what was advertised by Covington and was labeled by the manufacturer as an AWD vehicle when in fact the vehicle didn't have the capacity to switch to AWD. Given the nature of on-demand AWD, we couldn't test it out under conditions that would engage the AWD, but we were assured by the salesperson that it was in working order. We were told that we could return the vehicle if we drove it less than 200 miles, which wasn't possible given our need to drive approximately 170 miles to return home. Getting back to Covington would have put us well over the 200 miles. Given the 200 mile limit and the apparent good condition of the vehicle, we didn't have anyone look at it once we got home. Lesson learned. And at this point, I'm not at all sure that Covington would have done the right thing even if we had discovered that they had sold us a vehicle under false pretenses as soon as we returned home.I think it's sad that Covington Honda is unwilling to take responsibility for their error. We were so pleased with the vehicle and Covington prior to this discovery. I have no reason to be dishonest about what is true and I now have learned first hand why car dealers have such a bad reputation for honesty.The BBB has done all that it can do to assist us, but there has been no resolution. Thus I am posting this info here and other dealer review websites so others can be forewarned.

It was a pleasant experience working with David Howell. Absolutely no pressure with buying this used car. David made the buying process go so smoothly and the gentleman that help with the finances was very good and fast. We have been looking for a vehicle for a while. We went to Sunrise down the street and they were trying to push this one car on us, which I did not like, and told us as well that this was all they could do to get us financed. I advised them that I did not like the vehicle but they kept on pushing and told us that we could only be financed for this one (1) car. My daughter advised us to wait until Sunday and that she would take us to look at more cars at different places. All of the other dealerships were closed and we drove past Auto Nation Honda. They were opened. As soon as we arrived the saleman, Gabriel (Gabe), came over to us and my daughter advised him what we had to put down on a vehicle, what we were looking for and what we could afford. He started showing us vehicles and we seen the one that we did like and it happened to be in our range as well. We went in to fill out the papers and what Sunrise told us it would take a couple of days to begin with, it only took a couple of hours and Auto Nation Honda got us our car (that we wanted). This was a great experience and my daughter will be going there when she gets her another one next year. We were all very pleased with the service and the saleman.

The salesman was helpful and eager to work with me to locate and meet my needs. The sales staff were quick to price my trade in and get the deal done. Of course I was buying a Honda so i didn't need selling on vehicle quality. Financing took about an hour. They did good. Felt a little rushed, but i was in sort of a hurry.

Want to buy the honda accord and had my worst dealer experience at Covington Pike; they are trying to squeeze every single penny from the customer, even cheated on me the tax rate is 9.25% instead of 7%. The sales Larry and manager Phillip are very rude; Phillip even punched on my car while I would not like to accept the price they offered. Never go there, they are cheater and liars; Went to Antonation 385 on the next day, had a fantastic experience there and bought my car there at a price $600 lower and much better APR 0.9%!

I spoke to Philip (Manager) for a 2014 Honda CR-V AWD-white color, on the evening of 19 Dec 2014 , he informed that there's a last piece available and he gave me a price of 23320$ out of door. Next day when i went to dealership to confirm the deal and book the vehicle, Mr.Philips wasn't available (though he was present at the store). I happened to speak to Alex (sales Person) & Trent (Manager), he gave me a shock saying that the vehicle which i discussed about was SOLD, he informed me that silver color is available for 23702 (he increased the price by 400$*), but i didn't like the color and refused. Alex & Terrance informed me that there is a BROWN color vehicle available in ARKANSAS and it needs to be driven from the dealership over there to covingtonpike, which would add up 200 miles on my NEW car, i even agreed for it.In the meanwhile i informed my family,friends,co-workers about the car i was going to purchaseI spoke to my bank and when i stepped into the dealership along with my check to collect the car on 2nd of Jan 2015, they said the color of the vehicle is KONA COFFEE METALLIC with black interiors, which i didnt like the color. My color preferences were either white or Brown (urban titanium metallic) which i already informed them, they were very much confident about the color during the initial conversation and Alex has even showed me a similar color vehicle which was in their store. Due to lack of product knowledge i had to face many incoveniences and embarassment, my experience with them is TOTALLY PATHETIC & FRUSTRATING.. I DO NOT recommend this dealership.

I shopped around for a car for several months. Found another car located at a competitor next door to AutoNation Honda. The salesman said it was available so I scheduled a test drive. When I showed up ON TIME, the "TV celebrity salesman" told me it was gone on a "joy ride with another salesman". He asked me to wait, so I did....a whole TWO HOURS. I was left hanging in the showroom. I finally left only for him to call me an hour later to inform me the car sold to the "joy rider". He never offered to show any other vehicle to me. I won't ever go back to this dealership as long as I live! So I found a 2014 Mustang at Auto Nation Honda. I drove by to look at it. Was met with a salesman who offered a test drive & offered a longer drive than the usual "around the block". I had another vehicle I wanted to trade (which I wasn't in at the time). I returned the next day pleased to find the car wasn't sold out from under me to someone else. The numbers came back quick, I wrote out the check and drove my new vehicle home. Very friendly staff! I recommend them!!! They explained everything in detail. The paperwork was simple and easy! Maybe I should take my new car next door to the "tv celebrity salesman" and show him the commission he missed out on!!!!!!!!

Gary Bland is AWESOME. My car got totaled because an 18 wheeler hit it from behind. We went looking for an accord and he did not push us at all! Which is key to amazing service in my family. Since insurance kept us lingering around to give us the "your car is totaled" response, they completely understood and said to let them know and they would help us figure it out. They got the exact accord I wanted all the way from tupelo the next day... and it is just perfect. HIGHLY reccomend going here!

We cannot express our gratitude accurately for the entire staff at Autonation Honda Covington Pike, because of the professionalism, friendliness, and expertise they exhibited during our recent purchase of a Honda Odyssey. Duane Auld has to be one of the most patient car salesman ever. He willingly worked with us via phone calls prior to actually visitng the showroom, which was first class within itself. He stayed after hours to ensure we knew the components of the minivan and helped to personalize the settings for us. He followed up the next day to see if we had any questions and responded promptly with answers. This was one of the best experiences we've ever had with trading in a vehicle toward the purchasing of a new one.

Mike Nichols is great! NO PUSHINESS!! that is key for us. It is what it is & they just let you figure out what you want. They were sincere & really care about you being happy, even after my Honda Pilot purchase. Even in the financing dept there was no pushiness toward any programs or warranties. Buying a car is not usually an enjoyable, stress free experience. You have the sensation that somebody is always trying to sneak on you with a "too good to be true" kind a deal. Money is not coming easy these days and getting a good quality vehicle is a really vital thing for our family, a car that can be driven for a good amount of years, so we decided to go for a Honda Odyssey. The vehicle looked not so pristine in the inside; however it did move as new. After having a conversation with the staff...everything came so easy and the next day we were driving a smooth, very clean minivan. No hassle, no exaggeration about the conditions and price, simply honest and clear information. Thanks very much to all of the staff involved in the sale!

I just purchased my first Honda Pilot. It is a 2014, but a brand new on. I just love it. Duane Auld was the Sales Rep that helped me and he always made me feel very comfortable. He never pressured me into anything. the Financial adviser there was great too. All in all , I would recommend anyone go there to purchase a vehicle. I feel I got the best deal on my Pilot. Also, Mr. Auld has contacted me since to see if there is any questions concerning my Pilot, and has said if there is anything he can help me with to let him know.

This AutoNation location on Covington Pike, Memphis is the only place I would ever take my Pilot to be serviced. Good to know that I can take my car in, be able to trust the CS person that I deal with. I always walk out with a peace of mind. I've always dreaded shopping for cars and was particularly apprehensive since cars have changed a lot since my last purchase some years ago. But Mary Shaffer was very knowledgeable and patiently answered all my questions... in fact, she anticipated most of them. I had some additional questions during the first couple of weeks I owned the car and she was always able to answer them. I had side moldings added to the car and that was a good experience also.... very professional. This was my first Honda. Several friends had suggested I consider an Accord and I am glad I took their advice!

Our experience at AutoNation on Covington Pike was outstanding! We started shopping about 3 months ago for our daughter a new car for college. Our salesman, Trent Dorsey, was very knowledgeable about the Civic and explained all the features to us. When we were finally ready to make our purchase we told Mr. Dorsey what were looking for exactly and they sent someone to another location to pick it up. The car was there waiting on us when we showed up. Over the 3 months we had no pressure from our salesman. When it came down to financing, Ron Wood, the finance manager, went out of his way to get us the best deal. We were completely 100% satisfied with our experience. We plan on buying a Honda Accord in the future from AutoNation.

This was my first purchase of a Honda by far this was the BEST BUYING EXPERIENCE I have ever had in the past I have purchased Toyota, Chevrolet,& Kia .Honda was easy to do business with. Trent Dorsey was very professional really the whole staff was great and helpful and made me feel like I was already part of the Honda family I have told my family and friends where to go if the are looking for a car & I am enjoying my CR-V

This is my 4th lease from Auto Nation. They have the best Lease rates in Memphis. Wolfchase Honda would not deal and were off the paper on rates. Covington Pike Auto Nation was easy to deal with and gave us a great rate. Love to deal with Covington Pike Auto Nation. Service Dept is #1.

I purchased my previous Civic from this AutoNation back in 2010. The service was excellent then and has not changed. Gary Bland was all you could ask for in sales. He was extremely knowledgeable about the products. He was helpful in translating the new technology of the 2014 Civic 4 door EX so I could understand it. I contacted Auto Nation to look at a Volkswagen I'd seen in an online listing. Initially, the salesman (Mary Shaffer) seemed helpful; however, she continuously called me several times a day for several days and was extremely pushy about driving the car and purchasing it before I'd ever even seen it in person. After having her call me, and her having her manager call a few times, I was beyond stressed about looking at this car so they would stop contacting me so much. Mary Shaffer, however, did not wait for me to get there after work and left another sales man in charge of the test drive and sale. This man, Lamar Lacey, was extremely nice and patient and not pushy at all. He was extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with. Mary Shaffer even called my loan company pushing to get the money the next day as it was coming to the end of the month and she wanted the commission off of the sale. Unfortunately, Lamar Lacey did all of the work for the sale and got no benefit, but I would definitely purchase from him again. I tried to get a better deal on the car, but the sales manager Rick would not budge on the price at all and didn't seem to care about anything but getting the check.

i just bought my 2nd Honda CRV from this dealer. They are excellent - easy to deal with and very helpful. I appreciated that they did not keep me standing or sitting around. The facilities were neat and clean and everyone was super nice and answered all of my questions.

I went looking for a simple "point a to point b" car for my daughter. Lamar at Covington Pike spent just as much time and effort on us as he would on someone buying a top of the line new model. He found two nice civics within our very limited price range and made us a good deal. He was courteous and helpful through the whole process and gave us all the time we needed to look and discuss. Not only that, we were there during a torrential downpour and he gave us the umbrellas while he didn't have one. A great salesman and just a really nice guy. I will go straight to this dealership and look for Lamar if I need another car. The Civic we bought is in good shape with remarkably low miles for it's age. So far so good. I was really impressed with the 3 day buy back deal which is what brought me to Honda in the first place. Good idea for used cars.

This place tried to charge me $2700 to have my radiator, timing belt, water pump, and head gasket replaced because my car had over heated. All I needed was a new radiator cap, $13! Do not go here, unless you want to be jipped and lied to with a big smile.

I purchased a used car from Autonation Covington Pike Honda and was very impressed with the quality of car I purchased and the knowledge and friendliness the salesman (Lamar Lucas) had reagading the car. I was also impressed with finance person (Dale Woods). He helped me to clearly understand my choices of financing the car and picking out what warranties made sense. Overall the entire staff was very friendly and helpful. They seem like a tight nit family. Thanks Autonation!

Andy helped me through the entire process. Even when he was going to leave for the day. He was not too aggressive like some sales people. He went over the top to find me a owner's manual and extra key for the truck. I would recommend him to my friends and family.

AutoNation Honda (that is located at Covington Pike, Memphis, TN) is great place to buy a car. Initially, I just went there to enquire about the possibility of trade- in my car and get a new 2013 Honda civic. The offer they gave to me was irresistible. Instead of buying one car, I brought two cars for my kids. I got a good value to my trade- ins and reasonable price for new cars (with 0.9%interest rate!) I worked with Trent Dorsey, he is great scales man.

Mr. Charles Monger was very helpful in me purchasing a 2010 Honda Accord. I am thoroughly satisfied with my vehicle and the service that Charles provided and is still providing as he is very thorough and efficient. My car is in excellent condition and the warranty I have for maintenance is superb. I highly recommend Charles Monger and the Autonation Covington Pike Team to anyone in search of a new car. This is our 2nd Odyssey van bought from Covington Pike Honda. We highly recommend this dealership because of the excellent customer service and overall experience with service and managers. The General Manager there is knowledgeable and great to work with as well as Charles Monger in car sales.

Everything was great! Charles was wonderful. He was patient and understanding. The dealership was fair with pricing. I financed through the dealership for a better deal than at my credit union. They didn't have the car I wanted to buy so they let me drive the same make and model home until the next day when my car had arrived. Overall I must say was my experience with Charles. He is not pushy or annoying. Just an honest man that seemed genuine about helping me find the car I liked not what he could make off of it. Very happy owner of a 2013 Honda Civic

I had a good experience when I bought my new Honda Accord this week from Autonation Honda. Larry Murphy was very helpful in my shopping for a car. They gave me a good and fair price on this car, and a good price on my trade-in that I had purchased from them 10 years ago. After only a short time driving the car I am very pleased with it. The 2013 Accord is a top notch automobile.

WOW, I have never been treated so horribly. Stay far away from this place. They dragged me along for weeks. Not returning phone calls or E-mails. Then when it came to coming in to sign the papers, the price they gave me in E-mail, went up for some bogus reason. They said if I wanted the black one, then the price was different. When the whole time I told them all I wanted was black. Unreal. This is where car sales people get their shotty reputations from.

Mislead you then at last minute say you must have misunderstood and raise price substantially. Found better deal and gave them an opportunity to earn my business and they weren't interested. Do not take care of military buyers.

I had first looked for a Honda fit sport at wolfchase Honda, but all they had were the Fits with navigation which hiked the price up beyond what I was willing to pay. When I arrived at Dobbs, Gary Bland approched me as soon as I got out of my car. They had a Honda Fit without the navigation at a much better price! They gave me a great price for my trade in and I was out the door in my new car within an hour and a half! Everyone was friendly and Gary was a pleasure to work with! I'm loving my new car and saving over $30 a week in gas!!!!

They did for me what the local area Honda dealers were not willing to do. The found me the vehicle I wanted in the color I wanted and at a price we could all agree on! I had been looking for a CR-V in a certain color and had just about given up with I thought I found it on the Dobbs Honda website. I emailed the dealership and within an hour I was corresponding with Trent Dorsey. When I found out the one on their lot wasn't the right CR-V for me, Trent found what I wanted and within 2 hours we had a deal made. I made the trip to Memphis the next day to finish the paperwork and pick up the vehicle. Trent, his salesmanager Tyler and the F&I guy Mark were all wonderful to deal with. They made me feel like they appreciated my business and there were no "suprises" during the buying process. They have also been wonderful with follow up after the sale. I would not hesitate to make the 2.5 hour trip again the next time I am shopping for a new vehicle.

I saw online, a used Toyota Sienna on sale at Dobbs. SInce it was near my home I said I will just go there and although my budget was $2,000 short of what they were asking , I will just let them know and see what is the best they can do. I met a salesman Mr Brown, he did not look nowhere near the used car salesman profile we all come to know. He did not put any pressure and in a very freindly way, worked out the deal. His manager was also co-operative and I in no time I got the deal I wanted. Honestly, I was a little surprised since I know that they use their fast talking sales techniques at Dealerships. Not the case here. The Sienna is wonderful, and I liked the way AutoNation added their 60 day warrantly. I will recommend Brown and Dobbs to everyone.

I was extremely pleased with my experience of shopping for a new car with Dobbs Honda. I chose this dealership because I had bought my Honda Civic there, had loved the car, and had had great service there. I had to buy a new car because I had major back surgery and needed a car easier for me to get in and out of (higher off the ground.) I talked to both Tyler and Trent on the phone, and they conferred with my son in Marietta,Georgia. When I was able to get out, my nephew drove me out to see the cars and to ride in one. I bought a gunmetal CRV LX, and I love it. It was actually a fun experience. Tyler and Trent were personable,informative , and helpful. I would recommend Dobbs to anyone shopping for a Honda ,and I would suggest they ask for either Tyler or Trent or both. I have finally gotten to drive the car, and it drives like a dream.

I was not expecting to purchase a minivan last week. I was still in the shopping phase. However, Terrence Wilkins changed my mind. His over-the-top customer service was the main reason I purchased the vehicle. He went out of his way to make sure I was happy with both the car and the price. The other members of the Dobbs team that I encountered were very friendly and customer-service oriented as well.

Trent is a really nice guy, and got several awards from Honda. We went to Walfchase Honda there before, and their manager even removed the lower price his staff offered to me one days ago, and marked 1000 higher. He even begged not to talk with him more. Comparing with them, you can get extremely good service here. All staffs have good service manner.

Best experience ever. We felt at ease and not rushed. The employees at Dobbs are very professional and hold their self to high standards. Couldn't ask for better customer service. We came all the way from Arkansas because of the politness and people skills Trent and all the staff have. We tried a dealership in Arkansas and they were not very friendly and made us feel very unconfortable. We would recommend anyone to Dobbs. Thanks for all your help.

I'm very blessed and grateful to have met such extremely kind-hearted, hardworking, and knowledgeable group of individuals. My overall experience at Dobbs Honda was exceptional!!! First, Mrs Kim was very pleasant when I initially called to speak with Mrs. Debra Taylor and when I arrived Mrs. Kim was just the same. Smiling and being cordial with everyone!!!! Great customer service!! Mrs. Taylor stayed with me the entire time from start to finish!!!!! Mrs. Taylor, Mr. Hall and Mr. Miller were very well-educated about the car buying process. They offered other services that will benefit me in the long run. They all were very professional throughout the entire process!!!! I look forward to doing business with them for years to come. We could not have asked for a better experience when we bought our new Honda CRV. Debra Taylor was a blessing to work with as was the entire team. They worked to get us the lowest financing and best price. We had been to several Hinds dealers in Tennessee and Alabama and the difference with Dobbs Hinds was they were really interested in us getting the best car and the best price! Debra Taylor went over every detail of our car with us and made sure we understood everything. She is an exceptional salesperson!!! She really cares!!!! I just purchased my fourth Honda from Dobbs Honda on Convington Pike in Memphis, TN. Let me start from the first time I purchased my car from Dobbs Honda.
