I took my new Honda Civic in for an oil change and tire rotation. I was told that it would only take an hour. After 2 hours I was still sitting in the lobby. Finally, someone from the service department came to get me. They stated that they needed to show me something on my car. When I walked out with them, they informed me that my car had been damaged on the lift. They offered no apologies and told me that I would have to wait another hour for a rental car. After 4 hours, I finally got to leave. I came in for an oil change and left in a rental car.

Service Dept is terrible. They just dont answer the phone. When you are the only Honda dealer is Asheville you do not have to care. Go down the hill to Greenville.My 2017 Ridgeline broke and needed fixing. Awful dealer experience.

My experience At Apple Tree Honda was excellent and this was due in large part to Scott Van Der Veer the salesman that sold me a Honda Fit. It was his can do attitude of getting it "right" when I had some problems getting a couple of issues regarding repair work on the body of the car( a couple of scratches) taken care of. He was very affable and efficient during the whole transaction and thereafter. It was a pleasure working with someone who really knew what he was doing as evidenced by his confident demeanor and reassuring attitude.

My friend bought a brand new Honda Civic. She bought the car with an extended warranty on top of what it came with. The car had around 2000 miles on it and the valve cover cracked and took it here. Dealer told her she vandalized it and would not cover it. They also told her they would not give her loaner car. She has to have a Honda representative come and look at it. This place is an absolute disgrace and does not stand by anything. I would highly recommend going elsewhere to buy a car..

This is a top notch dealership with old fashioned values. I almost stopped my car search after experiencing dishonesty and disappointment from other dealerships. Salesman Peter Estrada was kind enough to communicate with me after hours on a Friday night. He was very honest and promised to confirm that the car & color I wanted was available. In less than 24 hours of telling Peter what I wanted with the additional accessories and the price I was willing to pay, I was in the finance office with Betsy Woods signing paperwork. Betsy was very professional and lighthearted which made spending money less stressful. My accessories were installed Tuesday, and I picked my car up that night. Everything was perfect!! I honestly felt like I was dealing with friends. It was well worth the hour long trip from SC to NC to purchase my car. If your're in the market for a car and want a positive experience with honest/friendly people, definitely go to Apple Tree Honda in Fletcher, NC.

Here I sit again after 90 minutes and the car just sits in the service bay . Apparently my 8:45 scheduled appt was just for me to be here. When asked about the time I'm told by one service writer YOU need to talk to the person who wrote you up and WALKS AWAY. "MY" service writer tells me that the time was for you to be here . So first appt and scheduled appt mean nothing to them ...again! Last time the service writer tells me he has not eaten lunch and will be right back. Ten minutes later i see him eating lunch and never came back to me. I complained ..no apology or expedited service. Nothing. It took 2 hours last visit to get the battery out of warranty by a month replaced. No credit. They inspected and washed the car when I specifically asked them NOT to as I was in a bit of a hurry. RUN do not walk away from the set is department. Go anywhere else.

My daughter's Honda CR-V had a driver's airbag recall. The airbag light was coming on intermittently. On May 13 we took it to Appletree. The parts weren't going to be in for a couple of months, so they loaned her a car ... Not a rental car, but a new Accord. (Actually the first loaner was a Civic, but we returned it within hours because the AC didn't work). On June 26 the parts came in. They gave us 24 to 48 hours to meet them with the key to tow in the CR-V. She lives alone in Asheville and works full time but was able to arrange this. While they had her car they did a "multipoint check." They found $3,500 in suggested repairs. If we didn't do the repairs there would be diagnostic charges of at$150. We chose to repair the front brakes but wanted second opinions on the remainder leaving a $109 diagnostic charge to determine why the AIRBAG light was on. Apparently her car was finished on June 29 but the did not call us until July 6. They (Jason Easley) left a threatening message that they had "been trying to reach us and would charge us if we didn't return the Accord with 24 to 48 hours of when our car was finished."This was very difficult because of the holiday week so I asked for an extension. They referred me to "Corporate." After half an hour on the phone with Corporate they told me the decision was the dealership's. The dealership is still saying it belongs to Corporate. While talking to Corporate I was informed that her car has ANOTHER AIRBAG RECALL for the passenger side. Appletree knew this! I requested to keep the Accord until the parts are in for this second recall. They said, "no, just don't let anyone ride in the passenger seat." If we didn't return the Accord within 48 hours they were going to charge $45 a day. Too bad it was during the holiday week. We rearranged our schedules to return the car by 7 pm on July 7 (with a full tank or we'd be charged). Upon returning it they said we had caused at$450 in damages to the car. A pebble size dent on a door from another car door and a scratch on a wheel. They settled for $50. I will never own another Acura or Honda (and we have purchased six new Hondas), and will never use this dealership again. It was a very frustrating and disappointing experience!

Everyone from the finance department to the gentleman who set up my Bluetooth was so helpful. Im originally from Fl, and we dont have great customer service like I experienced at Apple tree.

This dealer provides the worst customer service I have ever experienced. All other Honda dealers go out of their way to ensure customer satisfaction. I had my vehicle serviced today for several minor issues. I left the dealer thinking my issues were resolved, to find out a new issue was created that I was unaware. I called the dealer the next day to explain the new issue that was not present when I left my vehicle with them the day before. They did not want to take responsibility after numerous calls and speaking to the Service Mgr, Jack Thill. They still wanted to charge me to correct their error and were not willing to fix the problem that was not originally present. The Tech made a mistake and they tried to cover it up. Jack and his team are not honest nor are they willing to right their wrongs and keep their customers. Instead they want to nickel and dime you to death. Every time I have had any interactions with this dealer there has been some sort of problem and issue. I have dealt with other Honda dealers with no issues or problems and they always ensure a good experience and customer satisfaction. Not so for Appletree Honda and their management. As of today they have lost my business and I will not return for further service work or purchases. You much better off to drive the Hendrick Honda in Hickory or Morganton or go to Greenville, SC. They will treat you right and you will get much better service and a better deal on prices and labor. Shame on you for treating your Asheville customers so badly. When I moved here people warned me about your dealer, now I know why!

Salesperson Jeanie is awesome!!!! We agreed on the deal very quickly. Most people have seen the person who likes to play games, counter offer after counter offer, back and forth, lets sit down and talk about it, make it take entirely too long, before finally agreeing on the deal you originally ask for, and act mad at you because of it. I call them idiots because they REFUSE to gain or retain customers. Apple Tree didn't do that. Apple Tree seemed happy to gain a new customer.

Sent wrong info to the SECU thus had to go back to dealer thankfully before we drove off.Would never recommend as wanted us to drive 25 miles and bring check back. I recelty bought a used Honda Odyssey from Apple Honda. Tim Wilis, the Used Car Internet sales guy, was fantastic. We were in need a used car quickly, and Tim was super helpful, quick, but very professional. I drove up from South Carolina and it was easy. Apple Tree Honda had a used car of a specific make and model that I wanted, worked with me on the price. They had made some repairs to the vehicle, which I appreciated. The sales process was no pressure. Tim W. was very accomidating, friendly. Overall, a very good experience.

I went in with being new to NC, needing a good used car and I had a strict budget and a Co signer.We worked with Blake who listened to what the budget was and showed a few cars including the Honda Fit I ended up getting. I sat on line for a 1/2 hour and when I finally was waited on the service representative was upset that I wanted to come back. He had already printed out the service agreement and after I noticed the price was too much for my budget. The way he treated me after that was poor at best as if I wasted his time. I was upset with my visit but decided to give them another change today so I called their service department for some expert advice. I was told the only thing they could do for me is charge me about a $100.00 for diagnosis. So much for any help without charging me money. I will never use them again or would advise using anyone but them. I called another Honda dealership and the service representative answered my questions and helped me within 15 minutes. That other dealership has my business from this moment on. So get your wallet out if you have any questions for Apple Tree Honda it will cost you.

We had a van in mind when we were working with Ms. Jeanie Heatherly. She knew our timeline and understood our desire to personally sell our Subaru Outback before buying an Odyssey. Jeannie called us the next day with a a mutually agreeable trade in offer that we were not willing to forgo. I didn't have to deal with a for sale by owner situation with the Subaru and we got the van we needed. She had the keys ready upon arrival, confirmed the amenities we asked for, and within the hour we were settling the financials. Very good experience. Will return.

Ibis sold us our 2015 Honda Crosstour by staying in constant touch without being pushy. We were several thousand dollars apart at the start but Ibis and her manager found a way to bring us together. Ibis also gave us some extra schooling in the navigation system. She is the best.

this is the third CRV we bought from Apple Tree and always take our cars there for service. We bought a 2015 CRV Touring just recently. Jeannie Heatherly and Justin Shaff provided great customer service. Went in to the showroom and met Jeannie Heatherly who was quite knowledgable about the CRV. She knew her stuff, answered every question and gave me some information I didn't already know. I thoroughly research any new vehicle I am interested in and remember just about everything I read, but Jeannie did me one better on several points. The buying experience was pleasant but took a while as car buying usually does and Jeannie walked us through very efficiently. She also has a great sense of humor which I liked and we bantered back and forth the whole time. All in all, a great experience.

My husband and I were in the market for a new vehicle. Since we owned a 21 year old 340,000 mile Honda Accord naturally Honda was our first choice. Their service department is horrible. When you take your car in, it's chaos; there are several lines and nothing to tell you where to go. Some service writers are backed up while others sit idle. Be prepared to wait a LONG time when you go in. They say they'll call when parts come in but they never do. Want to talk to the manager? They don't know where he is or how to find him. Honda's recall notices tell you to call and make an appointment for your "30 minute" repair. This place tells you you have to leave your car for half a day; they can't make appointments. They're the only authorized Honda dealer in this entire area and they sure know it; for recalls and warranty work there's no place else to go.

Russell was very kind and helpful. He is fun to talk to and is an interesting person. He did a great job for Apple Tree Honda, in selling us a Honda Fit. Russ Dodson sold me my first vehicle off a lot. I was expecting to get some know it all sales person that I wouldn't like, but I got Russ and he is awesome. This is the sixth Honda/Acura my husband and I have bought from Apple Tree Honda in the last eleven years. We have dealt with several salespeople, but never one as easy to work with as this time with Jeanie Heatherly. She answered all our questions, even ones we hadn't asked. She anticipated everything we needed and walked us through all the aspects of buying a new car. We left with our new 2015 CR-V and smiles on our faces. This has been my best car buying experience to date. Cameron Kline was my Apple Tree representative. He respected my wishes to conduct business via email as I navigated through the process, refining my car selection and pricing. This culminated in a pre-agreement dependent on final $$$ being what had been agreed to via email and test drive. All went smoothly and Cameron was very helpful throughout the process. Seriously best experience car buying ever! i was in and out in less than 3 hours plus it was snowy weather so they came to my job to pick up the car and detail it a few days after i purchased it. then on top of that there was a ding in the door that needed some touch up paint but their paint guy had to wait for sunny weather when that finally happened he decided it was too large a job to do on the lot and would need to take my car over the weekend to fix. it didnt work out the first weekend and i really thought well thats the end of that this will never happen. but when i asked about it and told them i was going to be out of town for the following 2 weekends they called me back and scheduled a weekend that would work for me that was almost 2 months after my purchase date!! got my car back and it looks perfect. Seriously a great experience, i went in alone and as a single female i never felt pressured or like i was ripped off. it really was a God Send to have such a good experience. will buy from them again.

Its hard to imagine a pre owned lot at a reputable dealer could be so bad. I saw a car on their website that I was interested in. It was priced 10% above NADA Clean Retail so I figured it must be in excellent condition. When I saw the car it was in rough shape, bad paint and broken body panels, really bad condition. As soon as I saw the thing I handed the salesman the key back, didn't even drive it.Don't waste your time!

Salesman Russ Dodson was very helpful and up front about everything. Had the customer's best interest in mind, was not pushy. He even offered to let me take the car home for the night before buying it. Everything went smoothly, My only complaint is that the new car prices are not posted on the website. This makes it impossible to compare prices without going to the dealership, but the dealership experience itself was great.The Honda Fit is awesome, it's quick and fun and pretty versatile. The day after I bought it I was using it work, fit 3 people over 6' tall, a ladder, and a toolbox in it, then after work I filled all 5 seats and everyone had enough room.

This was my first time buying a car and Tim Willis made it easy! Everything was handled professionally and quickly so that I was able to trade in my old car and bring my used Honda Fit home that day. The process of buying a car can be intimidating, but everyone at Apple Tree was so helpful. There was a small part missing on the front of the car but Tim got the part ordered and made sure to follow through to get it done even when we had some scheduling issues. My wife has purchased 2 vehicles from Apple Tree. The first was a Honda Pilot, the most recent is an Acura MDX. After she emailed the Acura salesman for over a week and was promised the MDX with remote start/DVD and quoted a monthly payment...come to find out that salesman "mis-quoted" the price and the MDX was much higher! That was the BAD, the GOOD you ask?? The General Manager stood by the mis-quoted price to my wife, we worked with our favorite saleswoman, Ibis (who we didn't know could sell both Honda and Acura, that was our bad!), and Apple Tree installed the remote start and DVD system into the MDX, picked up the vehicle in Cherokee, NC and then Ibis drove the MDX back to us! This went from a horrible situation to a wonderful situation and we were glad Apple Tree made it RIGHT! We will be return customers!

I took my Honda Odyssey in for a airbag recall and they removed my glove box and removed all contents in the glove box and threw away an envelope that had all my important vehicle documents in it. If you take your vehicle to Appletree Honda make sure you remove anything of importance or it will be gone when you pick up your car.

My new Pilot is wonderful and I didn't feel forced into buying it, I felt like they wanted me to drive away happy, and I did. Thank you apple tree for helping me make my dream come true!!Now my one complaint-- shortly before I drove off in my new car, we found a pretty serious area on the front bumper where one of the employees had scraped the side of the front bumper.. They asked for it to be repaired and it was just painted over.. Totally obvious and really unacceptable.. I am awaiting a call to have it fixed, but otherwise I am very happy.

It was a refreshing pleasure to meet Tim Willis. He is a professional who helps you buy a car - not sell one to you. Very knowledgeable about all aspects of the industry, including comparisons of Honda vehicles to others. Many who visit car dealerships seem to be in defense mode. That's not necessary with Tim. He does his job, and he does it well. And, he's fun to be around. We purchased a pre-owned Honda Odessey and the flow was quick and easy. Price was excellent. Free tank of gas and future oil change and lifetime inspections are nice gestures at Apple Tree as well. Quit wasting your time looking through Craig's List, and go see him. No worries about being robbed (or worse) at some back-of-the-woods residence, and know your car has been thoroughly checked and serviced to a higher standard. Jeanie was so friendly, courteous, and helpful in answering all our questions. Once we had decided to buy she ushered us through the whole process in a very timely manner. She just went the extra mile to answer all of our questions and smiled all the time.

A few days after hearing several peoples testimonials about Tim Willis our old car was on it's last leg. It was unsafe to drive so we had to move quickly. We NEEDED a new car. I was able to talk to Tim on the phone, email and text. I told him that we hadn't really prepared for a new car yet so we had to find something affordable. With the info I gave him found us a used car on the lot that was perfect for us. It was an 07 Honda Accord. We did also look at some new cars. However, it was up to us what to do. Tim really helped us have all the information we needed to feel comfortable making a decision like this. We were even able to take the car home for the night to think about it. That was helpful since our other car was in bad shape. Well, with Tim's guidance we got that 07 Accord. The same car Tim drives (very close). It was a great suggestion. No hard selling only guidance with a ton of personal care. He even picked up a toy at a garage sale for my baby to play with while we signed papers. It was so sweet and so appreciated. I recommend Tim to anyone looking for a car... new or used!

I was shopping for a certified preowned Acura RLX locally and was unable to find the car that I wanted in the color that I wanted. When I extended my search radius, I found the perfect car in a little town outside of Asheville called Fletcher. I worked with salesman Tim Willis by telephone and text to negotiate the sale of my car. Tim was extremely helpful and pleasant to work with. When I arrived in Fletcher, Tim picked me up from the rental agency and had worked to make sure that the majority of my paperwork was done before I got there. It was worth the 4 hour drive (each way) to get the car that I wanted for the price that I did. I had a great sales experience and would recommend this dealer for the purchase of a CPO Acura.

Had to trade in a new 4runner for something that wouldn't kill me for gas. Did some research, came down to either the Toyota Camry, the Mazda 6, or the Accord. Test drove both the Toyota and Mazda, went to Honda Last. Our experience at Honda with Peter Estrada was a whole other universe compared to what we experienced at the other dealerships in Asheville. Mr. Estrada was extremely patient and knowledgeable. I recommend both Apple Tree and Mr. Estrada to anyone who will listen.

We shop for cars in the rain and rarely do we see a salesman...so, John and I were most surprised at her friendly approach to us as we were looking at the Honda's on the lot. We did go inside and received a cup of coffee while she listened to our "wants and needs". We have owned a Honda since 2007, and wanted to upgrade due to our age and for the grand kids. The test drive, the negotiations, conversation, and her overall professional display of mannerisms and appearance gave us the confidence we were making the right choice!

Best Price.. It was cold and late the first time we went by..but it didn't seem to matter. Have been to other dealerships and no one even came outside..we left. But in comparison shopping Apple Tree had the best deals.

Why can't I just get the price of the vehicle?! The salesperson refused to give a price on a used car until we drove the car. I don't want to drive it, I want to know if I can afford it first. Is that not logical? Don't like dealership s that play games. I will not be buying a car here.

We came in to trade in a very high mileage suv. I talked with Johnny Lee when I was in previously for a service. He was with another customer, but cheerfully referred us to Peter Estrada. Peter is awesome! So knowledgeable, courteous. He was a pleasure to work with during the whole process. I also appreciate the fact the the sales staff works together as a team and have each other's back. It was a very busy Saturday, but every person that came through the door was greeted and helped. The finance people were great as well and we left that afternoon in a new crv.

I bought my first Honda this past weekend and I could not be more happy with my decision! From the first moment I walked on the lot, I was greeted with the kind and courteous staff and they were so helpful with helping me pick out my next car. I was torn between the Honda Civic and Subaru Impreza and could not make up my mind, so I wanted to test drive the Subaru one last time. My sales associates Betsy and Jeanie let me take the Honda over to the Subaru dealership and the more I drove the car, the more I fell in love with it. Once I arrived at the Subaru dealership, I knew the Civic couldn't be beaten and I ended up choosing the Civic. I could not have been more happier with Betsy and Jeanie guiding me quickly through the paperwork and answering any questions I had. The financing gentleman I spoke with was also very nice. I was so pleased with the customer service, Jeanie and Betsy stayed 45 minutes after closing time to make sure I had all my questions answered and understood the cool technology in the car. I will definitely come back in the future to purchase another car from AppleTree Honda and will hopefully get Betsy and/or Jeanie to help me again. I came in just to look at a particular car I've had my eye on. I was assisted by Ibis and she made me feel very comfortable and was very knowledgeable about the car. She was able to answer all my questions. Most importantly, I'm not one to spend a bunch of money on myself and she made me feel very comfortable in regards to feeling good about my decision. Ive never written a review for a car salesman, but then Ive never worked with somebody as competent and helpful as Peter Estrada at Apple Tree Honda in Fletcher, NC. We asked for Peter Estrada when we walked in the dealership door, based on a positive recommendation from a relative who had recently worked with him on purchasing a new Honda. Mr. Estrada was very knowledgeable about the 2014 Accord Hybrid, the model we were especially interested in, even though it is a new and less popular version of the Accord. He treated both my wife and me respectfully and courteously throughout the initial conversation, the test drive, and the sales negotiation. He spoke articulately, listened well, and recalled personal information impressively. Mr. Estrada went over and beyond what I expected in helping us get a good price. From start to finish, Mr. Estrada worked hard and well for this sale. We have worked with other fine sales reps when purchasing three other vehicles at Apple Tree Honda, but Im glad we asked for Mr. Estrada this time

I was looking at buying a Honda Fit. I wanted a fuel efficient vehicle, but I also needed something with some room. After having a conversation with Tim Willis, he suggested I test drive an Accord. I am so glad Tim was interested in getting to know my needs. He put me in a 2013 Honda Accord. I get great gas mileage and have lots of room. I have had several friends buy cars from Tim. He worked with them to find their perfect car as well.

I value my time, my finances, the quality and appearance of my ride and how much phony baloney I have to put up with the rep and management at the dealership. Much to my amazement, Tim Willis of the Pre-owned department at Apple Tree Honda, earned the highest possible grades in all categories. If you need or want a top quality vehicle with top quality service you really do want to meet with Tim Willis!

I recently ended up buying a 2013 Honda Civic from pre-owned car salesman Tim Willis and I not only have a new opinion around how buying a car can be (much better than my previous experiences) but I would happily return to Apple Tree Honda and to Tim to buy my next vehicle. I had a much older vehicle in mind and was surprised to find this gem on the lot...I LOVE my car!!!! Tim listened to what I thought I wanted and then promptly found me exactly what I needed and actually wanted and at a price I could afford. Did I mention that I LOVE my car....thanks Tim.

I found the car I needed online at Apple Tree Honda, and worked with Tim Willis during the entire process. Now, I had VERY specific needs; the car was for my 89 yr old mother who needed to have a similar model to her current one so she wouldn't need to learn the car all over again. Tim was very responsive to all my inquires; even had the car inspected by an outside mechanic so the other folks in my family felt good about the purchase as well. The car was delivered to us in Atlanta; it was exactly as Tim said it would be. Paperwork was done properly the first time; a HUGE factor when overniting is involved. I wouldn't hesitate to work with Tim again; in fact, when I need a car I'm going to talk to Tim first before I go any where else because it was such a smooth and professional transaction! Thanks to Apple Tree Honda!

I recently purchased a 2015 Honda Fit from Apple Tree Honda. Justin Shaff the Sales Associate made this an easy experience when it can be very frustrating. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and while I was still considering it answered all online questions I posed very promptly and importantly still answered questions I had after delivery just as promptly. Dustin Dallman was great throughout the process of helping me find a used car that would fit my budget and not suck. I'm so glad that I stopped at Apple Tree to look at a vehicle I had seen on their website. After taking a look at the initial vehicle I had come for, Dustin showed me an 05 Honda Civic that was perfect for my son and I. He worked quickly with me so that I could drive it home that day.

Couple weeks ago I was checking on one of there used Pilots, the saleman I communicated with by email told me they had a pending deal on the unit I liked. Also he would followup if any change, but also the most important was he told me the previous owner had smoked in the car. I really appreciate that as it saved me a long trip to the dealership which I would have been very disappointed with the autos condition. They will remain on my search list for auto when I am searching. THanks much!

Courtney Maddox handled a nail that got into my sidewall tire driving by a construction site. The tire could not be repaired but Courtney was able to speak to the tire vendor and get a replacement for only the mounting and balancing cost since we were Honda Accord( 2014) and Acura customers( 2013). Gene Monroe was the salesman who greeted me when I arrived. He was very helpful and when I explained I was interested in CR-V's, he showed me all the different models and even walked me over to the used car lot to show me what they had there. When I decided what I wanted, but the color I liked wasn't on the lot, he worked to find the color for me. I picked up my new CR-V a few days ago and it is exactly what I want! Gene didn't try to sell me something else. He worked hard to make sure that he sold me exactly what I wanted. Great service and great cars!

As I walked toward the door to find a salesman, Gene Monroe came out to greet me. I explained I wanted to look at CR-V's. He listened carefully to what I wanted and then took me to the new CR-V's to show me the ones that matched my needs. After showing me the new ones, we walked over to the used lot so I could compare. I test drove a new one and decided it was what I wanted. However, I liked a color that was not on the lot, so Gene told me he could get one in that color. I wasn't in a hurry, so I agreed. A few days later, Gene called to tell me he had one in the color I had requested and it should be arriving the next evening. I really like my new Honda! They worked with me on the price and Gene went out of his way to make sure that I understood the technology (which I am enjoying) on the vehicle!

I have purchased 2 brand new Hondas from Appletree. I took my Civic in for a paint recall yesterday because the paint is coming off the hood, roof, and trunk of my car. After dealing with a quite curt service advisor who told me to take my car for two estimates to 2 body shops of their choosing, which I did, I was told all by the body shop that all three areas of my car needed to be fixed and the trunk was showing the same symptoms as the roof and hood and would have the same problems if left unattended. I took my car back to Appletree (after doing all the legwork for Honda's recall) and advised them of what the body shop expert THEY sent me to had said about the trunk. Sandra Cook, my service advisor at Appletree, let me know that there was no trunk damage and Appletree would not be fixing the trunk. She was rude and hateful. I explained to her this is what the expert at the body shop YOU referred me to said. I asked to speak to the service manager James King...who was just as horrible. He let me know that body shops don't make the decisions...he does. He was very demeaning and rude and treated me like a child. I asked him to call the body shop rep I got the information from...he refused. This is a Honda recall. I am a loyal Honda and Appletree customer. Thanks to James King...I will never buy another car from Appletree. Do yourselves a favor....find another Honda dealer.

I have taken my 2000 model CRV to Apple Tree since buying it used, 4 years ago. The service staff has always treated me as if I own a brand new Honda. All of my repairs have been completed at Apple Tree, including regular oil changes and other services. They work with our budget and are always upfront with what the cost is going to be. They are always professional from start to finish and work hard to accompany my vehicular needs, they even surprisingly have extended hours some days and are open on Saturday for more convenience.

I purchased a brand new 2008 Honda civic from Appletree. I took my car today for a Honda recall for a paint issue where paint is coming off the hood, roof, and trunk of my car. The service representative was extremely rude to me...but not to be topped by the horrible treatment I received by the service manager...James King. He was demeaning and rude and has no idea how to treat loyal Honda customers. Take my advice. I have purchased two new autos from Appletree. Do yourself a favor. Find another dealer!

We have taken our 2000 model CRV to Apple Tree since buying it used, 4 years ago. Regardless of our vehicles age or budget, the service staff has always treated us as if we own a brand new Honda. All of our major repairs have been completed at Apple Tree. We can't trust other shops to learn how to service our vehicle or attempt to get the right parts on our limited budget. We have heard far too many "horror stories" of the wrong parts or wrong procedures at other facilities. The Service department is always up front with what is needed and what it will cost. They always wash and vacuum our vehicle with any service. During our many visits for even oil changes, they are professional from start to finish. They surprisingly have extended hours after work on some days and Saturdays.

I recently had to have work done on my car and was terrified of what the problem was. I bought my car from Apple Tree about a year ago and it was used so of course there was no warranty. I took my car to their service department and Jason Earley helps me and took full ownership of my issue and kept me informed at every change. He also was able to get me approved for a rental car after they had initially declined a rental. Tho was particularly helpful since I have two kids and have to get to work. Jason and the staff at Apple Tree were amazing and made an otherwise terrifying experience very painless and pleasurable. I would refer Jason and Apple Tree to anyone who needed help servicing or buying a car.

Tim Willis at Apple Tree Honda Pre-owned, they are! I felt so at ease buying this car - an experience I have never had before. (Tim was recommended to my by several friends who have bought from him.) When I asked about a more expensive car than the one I was looking at, he even reminded me that my aim was to get better gas mileage, and that the less expensive car got better gas mileage? Who does that?!? Tim Willis does, that's who. I ended up getting a Honda Certified pre-owned 2012 Honda Civic. It is a great car, and since it is certified, it had an extensive pre-sale inspection AND comes with a wonderful warranty. Definitely go to Tim Willis at Apple Tree Honda Pre-owned if you need a car, and want someone trustworthy.

We really enjoyed working with Dustin at Apple Tree Honda in Brevard, NC. He was polite, courteous and friendly. My wife did beat him up on the price a little bit and he has the black and blue marks to prove it, but at the end of the day, they gave us the value we were looking for in trade for our Civic to upgrade to an CRV LX. Overall good experience. Dustin was pleasant to work with. One thing that we noticed the next morning was a rear seat belt was cut that seems to have been missed during the safety inspection. How your mechanic in service misses a rear seat belt during a safety inspection I do now know. We have contacted them to see if they will repair it for us and hope they will honor Honda's safety reputation.

Our experiences with Apple Tree Honda and their representative, Tim Willis, were exceptional from start to finish. My husband made an inquiry via the Internet regarding a particular car that they had advertised. The quick follow up and free flow of information every step of the way was extremely helpful. Tim responded quickly and professionally to every request and even drove the car over 120 miles to our home to complete the sale. After the sale, we needed additional paperwork to register the car in Florida, which has its own specific requirements, and the paperwork we needed was Federal Expressed to us the very next day after our request. It is refreshing to receive such excellent service, and Tim is a very nice person, too! AND we love the car!

This is the 4th vehicle I have purchased from Apple Tree in the last 5 years. They are friendly, easy to deal with and concerned with my needs when I tell them what I want. Liam Wood is fantastic and James King in service is top notch. I have never had an issue come up that they failed to address in a timely manner either when purchasing or in service. I highly recommend Apple Tree to all my friends and family and anyone else who is looking to purchase a vehicle. Having dealt with other dealers in the area with less than stellar reputations, Apple Tree was a breath of fresh air when it came time to buy a new vehicle. There were no gimmicks or smoke and mirror tactics, just plain straight forward dealings. Don't waste your time with the gimmicky dealers, just go see Aplle Tree Honda when you need a new car.

I wrote the above review. I purchased a car from Apple tree about a month ago and had difficulty with the title work. I met with the dealer on thursday and I must say, what a job the did fixing the problem. They exceded my expections. they went above and beyond what I requested and made me feel like an important customer. Lets be honest, things happen beyond our control. The real question is how do we fix it. They did an amazing job. I left with a great feeling of satisfaction. Everybody was polite and kind. I have purchased four cars from Apple tree and will be back this summer to buy a crv. Thanks guys.

Purchased a vehicle from dealership a month ago. My paperwork for the registration was screwed up. Something about no invoice. Nobody called me. They are unable to title the car and the 30 day tag is out. Unable to make first payment. Cannot drive the car because the tag is out. I was told to drive the car and if I am stopped by the police, the would. take responsibility. I am an adult and I can understand when there is a problem with the registration but I had to make numerous calls to find out where my tag was and I felt like they were hiding the truth. No phone calls, no information, nothing. Cannot drive the car, cannot make a payment. They never sent me my paper work. Should have gone to Honda of Morganton. This is the Forth car I have purchased from this dealership. I used to be a happy customer.

Never heard anything. never called back except to get a deposit which it was to late. don't know if they even had it or if it was going to be a dealer transfer. either way extremely dissipointed. Background: I've owned 3 Hondas and one Acura over the past 30 years. In the late 80's and 90's Apple Tree was known for lousy service and poor customer treatment. It was so bad I purchased 2 of the 3 Hondas from other dealers in Hickory and in Forest City although I live in Asheville. I switched to a German car for 9 years and then in 2012 purchased an Acura. I'm sorry to say the service and parts department at Apple Tree is still one of the worst I've ever dealt with. Service has been inadequate in dealing with simple problems. ( Trim by windshield recall). Parts... little or no help. 1. I needed a replacement key for a factory rack. After 20 minutes of looking on line the parts manager told me he couldn't help me and gave me the national service number. A waste of my time and effort. I called the national service number and in 3 minutes had the part sent. 2. Today I went to the parts desk to buy some windshield wiper inserts. I waited 10 minutes for anyone to acknowledge my existence. I was told by service manager that the parts manager would be " right back". Yes- only one employee for the parts department. (Contrast this to the local VW dealer where there are 2-3 parts employees and are very thorough and helpful.) While I waited 3 service employees sat and surfed on their phones. 5 minutes later the parts manager arrives and wait for it didn't help me. Really?!? Yep. Looked at me waiting and kept walking. Five minutes later I walked out vowing NEVER to give any business to Apple Tree again. This Honda and Acura dealership has been and continues to be the worst dealer in the southeast. They treat their customers like trash. Buy your Honda or Acura anywhere but here. Insulting to customers who have paid a premium for Acura.

Purchased a 2012 CRV from this dealership. Shortly after receipt of the vehicle, we began having sound quality issues over the blue tooth system (people receiving calls hearing loud squealing noises in the background). I did my own research and found that a number of more reputable dealerships were taking the time to replace the microphone and ensure the connecting wires were secure which was fixing the issue for those reporting. Apple tree made us bring the car in during the week, at great inconvienance to us so they could do a software reset! This did nothing to fix the problem. The next time the issue occured, I asked my wife to tap the microphone area with her finger. When she did, the sound became perfect ( issue troubleshot). After calling Apple Tree we were told that we would once again have to bring the vehicle in during the week. I was told that under special circumstances they might be able to look at it on a Saturday. The service manager would not talk to me and relayed a message that there was no way they could see the vehicle on a Saturday. I will never shop at or request service from these people again. I will go out of my way to inform everyone I know about our experience with this dealership and suggest they steer clear (not much in the way of savings either). I hate to admit it, but we got sucked into their "Honda Tree family" line. Watch yourself and don't expect anything but inconvienance from these people after they get your money.

After a repair for a recall on the ignition my daughter soon thereafter had trouble placing her key in the ignition and within a brief period the key would not fit the ignition and start the 2004 pilot. The vehicle was flatbedded in. Several people at the dealership report similar commonalities following the recall. The part was bought and placed on the next day(yea!!). But wait the car wasn't even seen yet(?). Upon picking up the car there were several small marks to the rear bumper(boo) to which the service writer quickly pulled out her "see it came in the way sheet" when it did not leave here that way. AND the AC was not working. The service writer simply stated "we did not have anything to do with that..we did not even go anywhere near there, or something to the similar" and instead of ameliorating the situation walked off muttering to her self and another employee waiving her "fact sheet". Appletree was great in the purchase and service until late.I did ask to speak with the service manager who did call BEFORE I even got home. I have waited five days to see if he would call back and followup with the integrity, commitment and pursuit of excellence that they have shown in the past. I await their call to fix the ac, buff the scuffs and wash the car. I am not even looking for an apology. I have a call in already to dick brooks Honda who won our bid and loyalty when we bought our new van last year as they have the commitment to service, price, integrity, honest, communication and ethical standards that appear to be waxing and waining in the entire service industry as of late. SO..APPLETREE..step up and fix the problems that occurred at your facility and be who I knew you to be and have the potential to be...I await your response. Maybe Consumer Reports and Honda North America could spurn you on towards excellence???

Two weeks ago we went in to see what was available for a new lease. We would be trading in my current lease which is up in August. After spending a few hours there, they told us to come back with the car in a couple of days and they would have what I wanted. I wanted a white 2013 CRV. We called to verify twice that day and then went in after work. Turns out they did not have a white one so they offered me a rainbow of other colors. I want white and they said they had it. They offered to get me a white one for $15 more a month. Why should I pay for their mistake? We ended up leaving with the promise of a white car after having left a deposit of $300 which they said they were not going to cash. Guess what? They cashed it. Still no car. One and a half weeks later, they say they have a car coming in today. The car was RED!These people are dishonest and we will never do business with them again.

I have a Honda, so I brought it in and took a test drive for a new Accord. The test drive was limited, but they let me take it home to test it more fully. THey undervalued my trade-in by at least $1500, and expected me to pay retain price. I was disappointed, and did not purchase.

Found a 2004 Honda Accord with 71000 miles online. My sister drove 2 hours to test drive and during the drive. The stereo won't come on. My sister and Nephew was with me. My Nephew the little geak he is said pull up into a shaded area; so we did. You could barely see the display asking for a code. We when back to the dealership and told the salesman.He went out to help put the code in and he couldn't see what it was asking for either. I placed my hand on the display; so he could see. His response was that is ridiculous!!! There was an issue w/ the backlighting of the display on this year and Honda extended the warranty for this.He stated that they will get this fix since it was already an issue they knew about.So when he gave us his word that it would be fixed, because Honda takes care of their customer. We went ahead a purchased the car. He was going to call the next day. So the next day he did call, but not to tell us to bring it in for the repair. That he was sorry, but you bought the car as is and the warranty is out of date. So if this is how Apple Tree takes care of their customers. People need to seriously think about buying from a dealership that is so dishonest.

I purchased a used truck with low mileage 2 weeks ago. We noticed water leaking in the truck and called. They did not want to help us and resolve the issue their staff noticed when the vehicle was detailed before we bought it. They said it is our problem since we didn't get an extended warranty, which would have not covered it either way. If they were in the business of customer service and wanted to help people, they would have fixed the problem instead of washing their hands of the issue being well aware they sold the vehicle to us in that condition. We did not notice this since it was not raining the day we purchased it, and was told it was a one owner vehicle with less that 26,000 miles and was gargaed. Scottie the salesman lied to us to get a quick sale. I would never buy a vehicle from Apple Tree Honda again. Please don't get scammed by this dealership, they do not stand by their products and did not want to do anything to make an issue they were aware of right.

They are higher than any other Honda or Acura dealer within an hour's drive. Some poor souls actually buy from these guys I suppose. Their prices are high and they won't move on their prices; don't waste your time unless you have money to waste.

The customer service in the Service department is non exsistant. I didn't purchase my Honda from Appletree, so when the service tech I was talking to found out, the next words out of his mouth were" OHHHHH you didn't buy it from us...." ( And that matters how?) = My first experience was trying to get a spare key made. It would have been ok, if I didn't have to call THREE times to give the same information , because someone didn't write it down. I called yesterday and left a message with the service department to return my call. 24 hours later I had to call them again, only to be told that I need to work my schedule around them. Apparently they don't have a full staff on Saturday and stay no later than 5 pm through the week, or appointment only from 5-8 on Thursday. ( I was told that if I came on Thursday at 5:30 there wouldn't be enough time to fix the front seat if anything was wrong. so I would have to bring it back) I am not quite sure why this company has to have the "my way or the highway" mentallity. I will drive to Greenville or Asheville to get Service done.

I made an appt a week ahead of time to come in at 8:00 am for recall repairs. I was told when I made the appt that it may take 1/2 day so best to leave the car if I can. I made arrangements to leave it all day. When I arrived the gentlemen indicated he would "try" to get it done today. I was really taken back but assumed since I had made an appt a week ahead I would have some sort of priority and it shouldn't be an issue, but I did say that I had to have the car to go out of town the next day. I received a call at about 2:30 from this nice gentlemen that said he knew I needed the car Saturday and it looked like they would not be getting to it today. I was totally bewildered and quizzed him as to what else I could have done to get this accomplished. He indicated if I were to leave it overnight it would make it more priority. I have to admit, I shook my head and tried to get some sort of intelligence out of that comment. If they require folks to leave a car for 2 days then by all means tell them so when they make an appt on the phone so they can make arrangements to go somewhere else and not waste time going to Apple Tree. With peoples work schedules you can't jerk them around like that. We go out of our way to make special arrangements to be without a car while it is being repaired. Was it because it was a recall? No indication was made to me that this bumped it down the list. They later asked for a survey as to how they had done. Well, I told them. They offered to make it right and I refused, why would I want to do the same thing all over again. I made an appointment at Dick Brooks Honda in Greer, SC which was inconvenient for me but they got it done in 45 minutes. They will get my business from now on with service and purchases!

We found a 2012 Honda CRV on autotrader.com withinour price range so visited Apple Tree. My wifewanted a CRV while I preferred an Accord. We metwith two superior individuals--Liam Wood and TimWillis--and they helped us zero in on just whatfit our requirements. Tim suggested a compromisebetween my wife and me--a 2012 Honda Crosstour, whathe termed an "Accord on steroids."Liam worked with us on our tradein and a bottom lineprice. There was no nickel-and-dimeing or nonsense.Liam and Tim accepted our budget constraints, filledus in on the intricacies of the Honda electronics,answered all our technical questions, and weretotally professional in every respect.We picked up the car the next day (after the prepservice) and were extremely pleased with it. Liamphoned this morning to follow up on any questionswe might have raised. We both highly recommend bothTim and Liam.

Upon arriving at dealership, my wife and I were immediately approached getting out of the car. I expressed a desire to view new CRVs with every intention of buying a new car that weekend. The salesman was reluctant to show us CRVs and keep inquiring what payment did we want and keeped trying to redirect us to Honda Pilots. I finally made CLEAR to him our interest was in the CVRs and got to a point of intent in driving a CRV and the salesman had taken my driver's license only to return with a smart comment on the condition of the license(yes a little worn) and proceeded to tell me how I really needed to have it replaced. At this point, I had my fill and was not about to take a test drive with someone who had been condescending and really not interested in our needs since we got on the lot. So we left and I bought a new Chevy.

My Honda Accord has been cutting off without warning. Obviously a serious problem that I need to get fixed. I tried to call Apple Tree and schedule an appointment. The person I talked to said she would get the person I needed for scheduling, then she put the phone down on her desk and proceeded to have a 15 minute chat with someone while I waited. I said hello a couple of times but she never even bothered picking up the phone or letting me know what was going on. Finally, after 15 minutes I just gave up and hung up. Then I went to their website and tried using their online scheduling tool. I submitted my contact information and described the issue I was having with my Accord in detail. That was 1 week ago and no one from Apple Tree has bothered getting in touch with me.Needless to say I have found another mechanic. I'm not sure what is going on at Apple Tree, but I definitely know I won't try them again. If anyone is having an issue with their Honda in the Asheville/Arden/Fletcher area I would recommend finding a good local mechanic and not bothering with Apple Tree.

Absolutely DO NOT use this dealer. Short Story: Was duped into driving 2hrs for car that was already sold? At least that is what we were told. Felt set up after attempted up-selling techniques. Long Story: I don't normally write reviews, but felt compelled to do so after this incident. I called Friday morning to express interest in a particular car and schedule an appt. During the conversation I told the Josh (head of internet sales) that my wife and I would be driving a couple of hours to look at a specific car. When we arrived we asked for Josh and received a blank stare and a somewhat strange reply...."Josh was not in the building but would be here soon". We were not asked to be seated, in fact they sort of ignored us....we just stood in the door way of a somewhat run down building and waited for Josh. After several minutes we wandered back outside to look at a few cars when we spotted the car that we were scheduled to test drive. We asked several times if we could look at the vehicle, but were redirected to other cars. Finally a man came out, introduced himself and proceeded to show us cars that were similar to the one we came to drive. After several attempts to ask about the car the man finally said that it was sold just a few minutes ago. I couldn't believe it. They were then trying to up sell us to similar but more expensive cars. Well, Josh never came out....so we left and drove 2 hrs back home.

I went to Appletree looking for a car in my price range. Sadly, none are actually in my price range, but my customer service experience with Dustin was exceptional. Even though I couldn't buy a car, I recommend buying from these guys if you can afford it.

When my wife went to this dealer ship for an oil change the technician noted on the order that the right front valve stem was defective but, did not fix it. At that time the vehicle was still under warranty and the valve stem should have been replaced. She did not see this note when she paid for the oil change. Shortly there after the tire started to leak air. I took the vehicle back to the dealership and had also noticed prior to my return the note of the defective item. The service manager said they would not honor a free replacement since the vehicle was now out of warranty. Based upon the attitude of the service manager and how he addressed this problem I would rate this dealership as poor to due business with

I placed a deposit on a used vehicle as was required by salesman on a Thursday and hoped to come to the dealership the next day to finance the vehicle. When I inquired with my credit union, I was eligible for my loan at only 2.49%. I let my salesman know that and was then contacted by a sales manager who was upset that I was not coming for my vehicle on Friday. In that conversation, we agreed that I would come on Tuesday to get my car with check in hand. His final words were that he would call me if he could not honor that agreement. On Monday morning, I received a call from my salesman to say that the sales manager had elected to sell the car over the weekend and of course there would be no cost to me. I was pleasant...did not use any four letter words but felt that this was extremely rude. I will not ever do business with this dealer again even on a car thousands below invoice. In my world, any organization is only as good as the word of those who lead the organization.

This dealership sells and services Honda and Acura vehicles. I had bought a brand new Honda Odyssey at another dealership that went on the "fritz" 40 miles in on a trip home of 75 miles. Honda requires that a vehicle that has to be towed must go to the nearest dealer and that happened to be, in this case, Apple Tree. Given the situation, I could not have been luckier. It took a week to diagnose and repair a very complicated electronic problem with the onboard computers, that I was told they had not seen ever before. Russell, the service manager, was in constant contact with us on a daily basis, was extremely patient and answered all our questions. These are extremely nice people to do business with, along with being very competent. My car was returned to me in perfect condition and now runs the same way. I was very impressed and will not take my car anywhere else..
