I went into Westbrook Honda for a diagnostic for a thumping sound in the front left. I was thinking it was a CV joint or something like that. Paid them $120 for a diagnostic and they wanted $7,000 and gave me a list a mile long of tons of suspension parts. Ball joints, tie rods, axles the list just went on forever. The price INSANE. I decided to go to a mechanic a friend recommended instead as being a rare honest mechanic. He looked it over thoroughly and could find NOTHING wrong with the suspension at all (said everything was tight and fine, nothing lose, not even one thing). but instead said I blew a tire band on the front left tire and that was the cause of the noise. We replaced all 4 tires (it kinda needed it) for $400 and its 100 % fixed. So I cannot really recommend this dealership cause of the really high price and the total bad diagnosis. It just seems they wanted to rip me off for a lot of money. Totally did not expect this at all.

We already had decided what we wanted. A 2014-CRV-EX-L , Mountain Air blue.. We let Sean know and he found it for us at a sister dealership. He let us know when it came in and we closed the deal the next day. Very pleased with the way we were treated. No nonsense, no pressure.

I brought my son's used 2007 Honda civic with 134000. Miles on the odometer in for service due to what I thought was a bad water pump or idler pully. Turns out it was the pully. The service rep John told me there was a service bulletin on the engine block cracking. Turns out even though we hadn't noticed it had a problem. We were given a free curtisy car (New accord) while they had the Civic. They replaced the engine without question the next day with a brand new one no charge.We are so happy to have made the choice of bringing it to Westbrook Honda ! They are straight up honest curtious professionals. My son bought this car used from another dealer only because at the time they didn't have one in his price range at Westbrook Honda and he needed one now to get to school and work.. I don't know what else to say except my next purchase and my son's next car is coming from these guys. Awesome place awesome people ! Thank you team for making my life less stressful ! 10 Stars !

I just loved the entire visit at the Westbrook Honda dealership.The "ambience" of the facility,the very helpful and friendly staff members,the availability to procure various snacks,coffee and water was totally wonderful!The piece de resistance:my honda accord was treated with "kid gloves." After the air bag replacements, my car was given the V.I.P.treatment of it's life!The 2004 car was returned to me looking like a spanking new model having had the bath of it's lifetime!I just want to express to all of you at the Westbrook Honda dealership........my utmost appreciation and gratitude for a fabulous experience at your dealership.......if my honda accord could purr with satisfaction,you would hear it do so from Niantic to the "bowels" of Africa!I WAS TRULY VERY IMPRESSED!

The "Drive-In" service reception bay is excellent. Much better than parking my car in a busy crowded lot like down the road at the Groton dealership. Appreciated offer for complimentary car wash. I came in for an oil change, and was told there was a factory extended warranty for a new engine. I asked for a new clutch to be placed, because it had 227 k miles and it was open anyway. I was only charged for the clutch parts. Jason did a great job! Thanks. The loaner car is wonderful too!

This was my first visit to Westbrook Honda. I had always been told that I should avoid getting repairs at a dealership because of the high cost of getting genuine parts (I have a well-used car, so have never received scheduled maintenance). My experience could not have been further from that advice. I was directed to enter the garage immediately and met with a smile. The repair was done quickly and the complimentary service check was reassuring (I was told that my transmission fluid was fine after having been told that it needed to be changed by another mechanic), and the replacement battery was $45 less than the do-it-yourself battery I had planned to get! I will most definitely be taking my car to Westbrook Honda for all future maintenance and repairs!Thank you Westbrook Honda!

I walked in Thursday morning to buy a new car to replace one that was recently totaled in an accident. I knew I would probably have to wait at least a few days to take delivery. I was offered a loaner to use during the wait. Shortly after returning home, I received a call from Sammy; the car would be ready at 5:00 PM that same day! Buying a used car for most people can be a somewhat traumatic affair because of all the unknown factors (and in my case the significant amount of money) involved. I had an excellent experience at Westbrook Honda. I have bought cars from other Honda dealers as well as Chevrolet and Citroen dealers and I can say that Westbrook Honda rates at the top. The price for the car was exceptionally low but mostly explained by the high mileage (95,000 miles)on it.. In 1992 I bought a used 1987 Honda Accord LX with 83,000 miles and drove it to 250,000 miles with no significant problems. In 2002 I then bought a used 1997 Honda Accord LX with 85,000 miles on it and drove it to 222,000 miles with no significant problems. This is why I am a loyal Honda person! I anticipate that the 2011 Honda CR V EX will perform with a similar experience to my previous Honda. Since I only drive about 10,000 miles a year and am 88 years old, this car should be my last. My purchasing experience with Henry and David at Westbrook was excellent. The needed paper work to close the sale seemed overwhelming! It took about 3 hours but everything went smoothly. (transferred marker plates,new temporary title, insurance carrier notification and new insurance card,,etc)

A very positive experience with Westbrook Honda and our sales rep Henry. The car we purchased was in excellent shape and had low mileage. The price was right and Henry took the time to get our paperwork processed and answer our questions. We were able to take the car for a test drive by ourselves and that's a plus. We were able to take the car the same day and my girlfriend loves driving it. I've been in 4 Honda dealerships in CT and they are all excellent people to deal with but Westbrook Honda is the place to go.

We bought the car in 2008. So when I say the service is the best I am speaking for years. They serve coffee and there is a TV and comfortable Chairs in the waiting room and so are the bathrooms which you can find this anywhere else. The service is the best. Take the car in for anything and they check it for anything else they see. They don't trump up things to be fixed if not needed. The car is ready when they say it will be and they have loaner cars. Once we were not aware of a recall and they told us they will be checking for it and so the time was to be extended for the service because of that. We bring the car in when going away and have them go over it and check it out for anything. They said the fluid were getting dirty the last time and we said ok do it. They just tell you and leave it up to you to do it or not. The staff are all very pleasant. You can test drive a new car while you wait for yours. As a matter of fact you can test drive every car they have to offer without being bothered to buy a new one. They just like to keep you up to date with what the new one is like. Again it is up to you to decide to buy one or not. The sales men do not hound you and they answer any question for you on the new ones.

This dealer is a member of the BJ's auto buying program. The vehicle price offered was competitive for a new Honda Pilot Touring model, year 2014. I knew what I wanted up front. Henry Stirbl went out of his way to make the buying process easy and made himself available on his own time to answer questions and to make sure I was satisfied. He handled the process professionally and when he noticed a damage on the vehicle we had originally chosen, he gave us a replacement vehicle of the same make and model up front. I do wish there was a quiet room where one could read rather than sitting out all together with children, TV and folks chatting. Henry Stirbl was very professional and easy to work with. Two things bothered us but neither is related to Henry's sales practices.One, going into the finance office after the sale was made and while our car was being preppred, we just wanted to sign our papers and move on. Instead, we found ourselves being subjected to a sales pitch that urged us to pay even more money by extending our warranty. We rejected this outright. We just bought a brand new car and suddenly we were to be concerned about is reliability and to focus on repairs? We did give in to this sales pitch in the past at another dealership, forked over $1,000 and have regretted it ever since. Thus, we were not about to do it again and made that clear at the outset.Frankly, this approach by Honda is a turn-off and a spoiler.And two, not a major problem but we were inconveienced a little bit because we had to return to the dealership two days later because someone forgot to have us initial something on a form.

When I commented that it would be cutting it close, as I needed to be to work, I was pleasantly surprised when only 30 minutes later I was told my car was ready. I bought my car in 4 times because the tire pressure light kept coming on.At the last visit they hooked it up directly with Honda somehow and changeda sensor in one of the wheels, and so far the light hasn't come back on. Nowthe car "lurched" when I applied my brakes at a stop sign. Three times actuallyin the same day. While the computer keeps saying there is nothing wrong,they are still pursuing what caused the problem. They did not give the car backand say that nothing is wrong, it won't happen again, or bring it in if it happensagain. I am driving a loaner until they say they found something and it isfixed. A regional service manager is due to come in and check the car out. It's nice to know that they are working on a solution and in the mean time Ihave something safe to drive.

Hello -It took me two trips for you guys to get it right. This is the 2nd time within the last 3 or 4 months I have had to return after having service done on my car.Previously, I had to return two times within a week after a repair job was done.Glenn O"Connor has done a wonderful job each time dealing wth problems that were not of his making. The latest epidsode concerned an oil change, tire rotation, and a new brake job that, in total cost me $823. . When I saw that the "oil life" was 50% a few hours after the maintenance had been done I grew suspicious and wondered if the oil change had actually taken place - since the "oil life" reading was at 50% when I brought my car in for service. . I then checked my tires and because the one on the back left had a distinct marking on it, I could tell that the tires were not rotated. I called Glenn and brought in my car within an hour of the phone call.Glenn O'Connor permitted us to observe the oil change, tire rotation and then showed us the new brake job that was done. We appeciated having that opportunity.Anyway, I have requested that the mechanic who worked on my car not be assigned my car in the future. I like the prompt response when I drive up and request the routine oil change, etc. service - no hassles. I like the amenities (coffee and waiting areas) also.The staff is always friendly & courteous. Our original salesman (Sammy) always says Hi, whenever I bring the car in for service. This last service was a short one - just oil change, lube, etc. and I was in and out as predicted, but the next day I noticed that the "Needs Maintenance" code had not been re-set. I learned that was easy to do - takes about one minute - but it got skipped on the tech's check-list. It was not an issue in any way for me, because I checked and the actual oil level was full and new looking, so I knew it was just a code re-set item.Over-all, we are very happy with our Honda and with Westbrook Honda's care and service. keep up the good work.

The staff at Westbrook Honda made the process of getting my Fit repaired through American Honda so easy. Unfortunately my work schedule was crazy and my husband had to do most of the drop off and pick up of my car as well as the loaner while my car was being fixed, however Westbrook Honda were willing to work with him and make sure they could meet his schedule. I now don't have a leak through the welding in the back of my car!!

Westbrook Honda pampers the owners as well as the cars. They always inform you first of the repairs and are very honest. The work is done timely and you are offered a shuttle to the mall so the time flies by. They even wash the car each time you go. We don't have to worry about recalls on the car because they list them and tell us. Don't have to worry about what needs to be fixed although they always asked us if we have any concerns and they list our concerns.. Otherwise they find them and they call you first to let you know and get permission from you first. They are the best,

The service I received was exceptional. I was extremely impressed with the courtesy and attention to my plight that the service department showed when I came in after an indicator light showed up on my dashboard while I was driving indicating that I had a problem that needed immediate attention. When the service person who greeted me learned that I had to hurry home to my seriously ill husband, he quickly diagnosed the problem, gave me the estimate for the work needed to fix it, made arrangements for me to be driven home, and offered to see that I might have access to transportation if I should need it while my car was being serviced. When the needed repairs were completed my car was returned to my home washed and vacuumed.

I expected this experience with Westbrook Honda to be flawless since I purchased 2 brand new vehicles from them in the past. It was anything but. We were up front with the salesman and gave him a price range and the expectations we were looking for. We were ready to purchase a car that Saturday, on the spot. We were shown a car $3000 above our price range and told that there was only about $1,000 wiggle room in the price. When asked why he bothered showing us that vehicle, we were told that's what his sales manager said to show us. According to him, there was nothing else available on the lot. Other than getting our first and last names, there was no collection of our contact info, etc. to follow up or to let us know if something came into the dealership. There was no discussion on the option of leasing a new Civic to get us in our price range. We left the dealership without purchasing a vehicle and it didn't seem to bother this salesman at all even after he told us "times were slow" at Westbrook Honda. I would strongly suggest doing your research on line first as there is another Honda dealership on the Connecticut shoreline that was more than happy to sell us a 2012 Honda Civic on the spot that Saturday. That Monday, I followed up with the General Manager and although he was extremely apologetic, it was a little too late. I will no longer purchase my vehicles from Westbrook Honda. Nor will I continue to use their service department for my 2006 Civic, which was purchased there brand new.

Three years ago I was trying to decide how to replace my 14 year old Civic. Sammy Amer pleasantly greeted me at the door, asking if he could be of assistance. I said I was "just looking today" and he said "Ok. Let me know if you have questions". No pushiness. I felt immediately comfortable with his respectful and professional manner. When it came time for my questions, Sammy proved to be very knowledgeable about all the features of the car which I was considering. It was clear he'd listened carefully to the features I was most looking for, and intuitively guessed at some I hadn't even thought about. He explained about all the new safety features. I leased that car and have been very satisfied with it for the 3 years. Naturally I returned to Westbrook Honda first this week to begin to make my decision about what to drive next. Don Shepard was very patient in explaining the in and outs of all my options, but deferred to Sammy when he learned that I wished to speak with him again. I did lease a new Civic today. I confessed to being intimidated by all the new technology. Sammy showed me how to do everything step by step so I felt at home in this new vehicle before I drove it off the lot. Everyone at this dealership is friendly and eager to assist. I highly recommend this dealership! And do ask for Sammy!

After making repeated visits for multiple electrical problems at Honda of Westbrook there is no resolution in sight. I purchased my truck through Honda of Watertown which is owned by Lorensen(same ownership). My 2011 Ridgeline RTL continues to have electrical issues that the dealership cannot fix. There are at least three separate issues that I had to go back up to 4 times each for. Currently they have my truck as my warranty is about to expire. As a parent with 2 children with special needs I found it difficult to repeatedly leave my kids with family for each attempt to resolve on going problems. I have made more than 10 visits in over 2 years beside oil changes. A car with repeated electrical problems does not fix itself and they can't fix it. I will be using an attorney to seek satisfaction. There answer is to focus on the current problem. The problems are all electrical in nature except for the AC that broke after 4000 miles. My feeling is Honda North America or the dealership should authorize an extended warranty as these problems will persist. This is my second Ridgeline, a pure Lemon with no recourse. I asked to be CC'd in emails to the district service rep and Honda of Westbrook stated that wasn't their policy and declined. They also added they had nothing to hide. In good faith I can't sell this car to anyone knowing it's issues. I'd like to know how they are going to resolve the situation. To date I have no answer. Buyer Beware if you get a LEMON they won't help you. I will be seeking the Lemon law as most issues occurred before 2 years/ 24,00 miles. They will be hearing from my lawyer.

I went to Westbrook Honda to purchased my first car. I chose a Honda Civic because of its stability and dependability. As it was my first car, to say I was nervous was an understatement! From the moment I walked into the Westbrook store, I did not feel like I was in a car dealership. There was no pressure at all and the entire staff was so friendly and approachable. Sammy helped me find the perfect car for me and was incredibly thorough in showing me how it works and what is required for upkeep to make the car last in great condition. The financing was so accommodating to my situation (I am a student) and we found a payment plan that works well for me. I would recommend Westbrook Honda to anyone. Friendly service as well as a great knowledge of their inventory and what will work best for each individual customer- can't say enough about them!

I purchased a "Model '13 Civic" last April 2013.To be fair I snugged a good deal from $27k went to $22k.The problem came in w/ the "Remote Starter" issue.I made it clear that I want it included in the deal (surprised they agreed to my terms).I was so happy and felt so smart/savvy buyer since I got the huge discount w/ the remote starter (since they said it costs about $800)!Well,what they installed in the Civic was not a "Honda" brand , it was "Prestige" brand!So then,I started calling them & demanded them to replace it w/ a "Honda" brand,surprisingly they all including Sales Rep to Mngr,GM coming back at me, saying I didn't reiterate that I wanted the"HONDA" brand.Wow, what a statement! I went to "HONDA" not in AUTOZONE, I assumed since Im in"Honda Dealership" that's the only brand they have!Besides,per manufacture disclosure,once you installed other than Honda brand" in the car the manufacture warranty will be canceled.My complaints,did not get me nowhere,Sales Agent were mad at me because of giving him a negative review (he's been helpful though).He claimed of not having knowledge at all on the remote starter issue, plus, he reiterates that "I got a bargain price".Their GM keeps saying on the phone "Did you say that you wanted "HONDA" brand on the negotiation"What a total Joke. Working with Sean was an exceptionally good experience. He returned all calls and initiated them when a problem on the expected date and availability of the car became an issue. He never tried to persuade me towards another car nor did he hide any of the problems as they arose. In the end, I was able to get the car and color I wanted and he was able to help bring about a solution that improved the car deal as a whole. He is young, aggressive but not overbearing in his approach. He answers all questions and makes sure you have all documentation needed to drive from the dealership and know that the deal is finalized. He will also be there when and if you need help.

I will start by stating that I would rather have a root canal than have to deal with a car dealer. My experiences over the years, including my first experience with Westbrook Honda back in 1997, had left me with this feeling. So when it came time to purchase a new car for my wife, I fully prepared for battle. I visited various dealers, read reviews, checked the bluebook, etc. While looking at vehicles at Westbrook Honda, sure enough, a salesman (Sammy Sayed Amer) approached and offered his help. We said we were just looking and he said, Okay, and left us alone. Really? No Pressure Tactic? We did find one car that we were interested in so we talked to Sammy, got his card, and left. The following day, we called Sammy, gave him the stock number of the vehicle, and arranged a test drive. I did tell Sammy that I was not going to argue/barter. That if we decided to purchase the car, I wanted to be given one TOTAL final price (including all fees & taxes) and I would either say Yes or I would leave. The test drive was very good with a route that Sammy uses that lets you put the car through twists & turns, various types of parking, etc., to give you a great feel of the car. His knowledge of the vehicle was more in-depth than any of the literature that was available from Honda. He just about covered every item included and even fully explained each and every safety feature of the car.So the last item was the price. We did a trade-in. Sammy came back with the final price and I already had decided what I wanted for the trade-in and what my total price would be, which I felt would be more than fair to both myself and the dealer. And Sammy came back just under what would have been my maximum. We closed the deal and she drove the car home that day.I am sure that the other salesmen at Westbrook are very good, but if you are going to Westbrook Honda, and if he is there, I would recommend you ask for Sammy. You will not leave disappointed.

My wife and I purchased a 2013 CR-V EX from Westbrook Honda on 8/22/2013. We drove close to an hour to get to the shop. We also purchased floor mat package, roof rails and crossbars, and a Simonize package.We made a deposit of $3000. That experience was fine. We went to pick up the vehicle next day as scheduled and waited for more than 20 minutes in the lobby area and no one even greeted us or said hello. Lots of people with Westbrook Honda name tags walked by. By then, we decided to leave. We called the dealership from our car in the parking lot and told them we wanted to cancel the deal and why. We did not feel that customer service was a very high priority and could not purchase a $30,000 vehicle from such a dealer. In the end, the dealership manager refused to refund our entire deposit because he said the roof rack was part of the car (although they installed it for us) and the cost for the Simonize. We left without a car and about $1700 poorer for the effort. We were very disappointed and when I called Honda, they told me I had to work it out with the dealer. As we already dealt with the dealer, that prospect does not seem to promising. And 5 days later, no refund at all has shown on my credit card bill.

I came to Westbrook Honda both to get my car repaired due to another dealer's negligence and to look at the new 2013 Accords they had in stock. The entire experience was great! John in the service department did an excellent job, and thanks to them, my car was completely fixed. I did not need to return to the dealership for them to fix something they missed, and the car is driving great. While waiting for my service to finish, I had arguably, the best test drive, I've had thus far in my "looking for a new car" search. I've visited several other dealerships (Hyundai, VW, Lexus, and Ford) but Patrick Sullivan at Westbrook Honda was by far, the best sales consultant yet. Even though it appeared that I had done my homework researching the new 2013 Accord, he still was thorough in explaining the different features, exterior and interior, and was pretty in depth about the safety features in the new 2013, and how impressive its crash ratings were. It was nice, because it was a salesman who wasn't just dismissing this as something I read on their website. I want a salesman to try and sell it to me, tell me why its so great, tell me why I should consider it--- and Patrick did that, but not in an overbearing way. The test drive was great, and it was leisurely, it wasn't a quick 5 min thing. Overall Patrick was very kind, very informative, and made it a great experience at Westbrook Honda. Based on how good their service department is (first in New England), and how convenient they make it for customers in regards to getting parts quickly, and the availability of different loaner cars, I will definitely buy my next Honda here.

We walked into Westbrook Honda having done all of our homework: knowing what we wanted to buy, how much we wanted to pay, and what we needed to get for our trade-in. Sammy worked with us right from the outset of the process. He is knowledgeable, honest, and straightforward---exactly what any customer would hope to have from their car salesperson. Too often during this process, we walked into a dealership, gave them the information about what we needed, told "okay," and then were bait-and-switched or given the run-around. This was not AT ALL the case with Westbrook Honda, and especially with Sammy. I echo what other reviewers have said about him: he is a consummate professional. He worked hard to earn our business by getting us the best trade-in value for our car, and respected the lower price incentives we brought to the table (military discount, honda incentives, etc.). Sean is an extremely knowledgeable young man that takes great pride in his job. He diligently went over the inside workings and outside of the car with us. Sean is a very like able person that will quickly become an asset to any employer. On another note which doesn't have to do with Sean, I cannot say the experience was perfect due to the fact that we waited 4 hours to complete the transaction and left for an hour for dinner on top of that. There was only one person processing the sales. But, I do have to say that the car was all set and ready to go when we picked it up and we really like the car a lot.

I recently went to Westbrook Honda to look for a new car. I was greeted by Sam Amer outside and we went inside to discuss what car I was looking for and with what options. I had already visited another local dealership and got their botton line price so I had a price and the model of the car I wanted. Ron Bachta the General Manager came over and introduced himself and said if there was anything he could help us with please feel free to ask. Sam was very professional and knowlegeable and found us the exact car I wanted. I didn't tell them the price I had from the other dealership but Ron was able to beat the price. So I am now the proud owner of a 2013 Honda Accord . Sam showed us around the dealership and the service area. He explained everything in the car and how to use it. I was the best experience I have ever had buying a new car. Sam even followed up with a email thanking us and a phone call to ask how I was enjoying my new car and if I had any questions. Everyone that is employed there is very friendly and makes sure we are happy. Recently we purchased a 2013 Pilot from Sammy Amer. He was incredibly friendly and met all our needs. Overall our experience was fine. Was not expecting to purchase a car that day but walked out with a new CRV. We were looking for something reliable and good mpg...looks like the Honda fit the bill. Sean is a great up and coming sales person who will go far in what ever he chooses to do.

This would be the second Honda I have purchased from Westbrook Honda in the last 5 years. Both times salesperson Sammy Amer worked with me through the sales process and I came away feeling that I got not only a great car but a great deal as well. He is a very personable dedicated and knowledgeable person and I found him to be easy going and comfortable to deal with. After the sale was made he took the extra time and effort to solve any problems that came up from time to time. The service department at Westbrook is second to none and once again the level of comfort and personal service they provide is considerable. Honda is a great car, reliable, fun to drive , and fairly inexpensive to own. My first CRV bought in 2008 has 90,000 miles on it and I have had to actually repair very little in all that time. It has been a joy to own and to drive. I look forward to the same from my new 2013. I can only hope that in another few years when I am ready for another car that Sammy Amer is still there to make yet another deal with me. He is the most dedicated car sales person I have ever met. By example after I bought my first Honda during which I traded the car I had previously driven, Sammy showed up at my home one Saturday to return a personal item that I had left in my old car by mistake. I was completely frustrated and dissatisfied with my experience at Westbrook Honda. I spent 4.5 hours at the dealership and was forced to drive away after I thought the deal was sealed. Much to my dismay, when I went to sign the papers, the deal had changed. The defining issue was accessories. During the initial discussion with my sales rep, Larry Bagley, I stated all accessories necessary for me to buy the car which were comparable to a similarly priced 2013 Toyota Sienna. We agreed that the accessories would be included for the price of $34366. When the initial contract was brought to us to sign, I questioned Larry on the figures. Confused I asked him point blank, are you eating the accessories? He said quote yes, we are eating the accessories and it was included for tax purposes only unquote. Unfortunately, this was not the case when it came time to sign the papers and we were forced to end the sale. Larry apologized and said he spoke in error. There was no ambiguity when he gave me a verbatim repeat back when asked about who was paying for the disputed items. I am a Naval Officer with over 22 years and my service has instilled a strong sense of integrity. That was lacking at Westbrook Honda. I felt like I was being played by Larry Bagley. I was only looking for a fair deal and confident that any issues could have been resolved if raised in a proper manner. Even after I sent an email to the General Manager, Ron Bachta, describing my unsatisfactory experience, I received only a call from the sale manager apologizing for the "confusion". However, the day was not a total loss because my wife and I knew that the 2013 Odyssey was the car for us and we ended up buying the mini-van from Cardinal Honda. The switch saved us $40 per month in a 60 month loan. If you want a fair deal and honest broker, go to Cardinal Honda!

Women beware! It was only after getting a male friend on the phone that negotiation took place or phone calls returned. Pushy closer laughed in my face and bullied me into getting an extended warranty that I said I would cancel the next business day. At first they said ok then said they didn't have the paperwork then refused to return phone calls. Happy with the car but the customer service? Terrible.

The personnel at Westbrook Honda did an excellent job of "winning" my business. The initial introduction was through Don Shepard and then the detail of the Sale was picked up by Sammy Amer. Don provided the first introduction to the vehicle and the dealership and then Sammy did an exceptional job of presenting alternatives and ultimately making it easy for me to decide to buy the vehicle in Westbrook. I had already had some less than satisfactory sessions with other dealers from out of the area so I found the professionalism and thoroughness here to be like a breath of fresh air!

Friendly atmosphere - When I arrived Manu Serohi immediately opened the door and welcomed me into the showroom. Polite, friendly and extremely knowledgeable - the test drive greatly demonstrated maneuverability of the 4 wheel drive - it was snowing all day and we went to a large parking area that had not as yet been plowed. It gave me a great feel for the vehicle. I purchased the vehicle on that basis!

We first spoke to Sammy and he was very helpful, he handed us over to Manu because we had worked with him before and he was very helpful also. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and quick because he knew we had to be somewhere, that was appreciated. There was very little haggling like other times that we have leased cars, which was also appreciated. We had to come back the next day to pick up the car and Manu greeted us and brought us in to sign the papers with Randy. Randy was also friendly, quick and to the point. This was by far the best experience we have had at a car dealership.

I knew I wanted to go back to owning a Honda, the salesperson, Sean Bowen met me immediately as I came in to the dealership door, friendly and courteous. It was late in the day, but he willingly took a car out with me for a try. I returned the next day and we covered some of my options, perhaps a lease or finding an excellent used Honda. I later returned with my son and Sean once again was everything a salesperson should be..he did not push but pointed out all the aspects of this car that made it worthwhile. I did purchase this 2010 Honda CRV and am pleased that I did. The experience I had with Sean was comfortable and I appreciated working with someone of his nature. I hope that my experience when I return for service will be equally as good .

Sammy Amer was very professional and made our car buying/trading experience expedient yet comfortable. The process took around three hours from walking through the front door to walking out with our certified Honda Civic. The last three purchases at other dealerships closer to my home of residence were very disjointed and I could not wait to just get the deal done and take some asprin for my headache. I left Westbrook Honda (Sammy Amer) feeling like I paid a fair price and was treated like a professional friend. I did not get double talked or pressured into anything that I did not want. I will be back when I trade in my wife's CRV to by a certified Honda Crosstour. I have already recommended Westbrook Honda to a friend at church this weekend. My husband and I were looking for a larger vehicle for our family and were undecided between Honda and Toyota. Larry Bagley was very accommodating and took us on a several test drives of different vehicles, including a Toyota from the dealer across the street! He was never pushy and very honest with us about what he thought would best fit our needs. Buying a car is not really a pleasant experience, but Larry made it rather easy. I gave a 4 on price because I probably could have gotten a little lower price from another dealer, but I would have had to travel further and deal with a different salesman. It was worth it for me to stick with Larry. He even made sure we got the color we wanted even though they didn't have it on the lot and it arrived within a couple of days. We would buy from Westbrook Honda again!

We bought our first Honda Odyssey from Westbrook Honda in 1999 and put 245,000 on it!Since it proved to be a great car and we wanted the space of a minivan, we decided to buy another. Our first stop was Westbrook Honda. We looked at new and used and found an immaculate certified used with low miles through our salesperson, Henry Stirbl. After our test drive, we knew we liked Henry. Henry provided us with the information we were looking for, was extremely knowledgeable and professional and helpful, rather than pushy-a real likeable guy. However, we did do our homework and spoke to a couple of other Honda Dealers. Some of the salespeople were the "pushy salespeople" type. We wanted to give our business to Henry and were able to negotiate a great deal. We are delighted with our newer 2010 Honda and highly recommend Westbrook Honda and Henry Stirbl for a positive car buying experience.I am in sales myself and requested the management tell me how I could let the public know of my very favorable experience at Westbrook Honda-that is why I am writing this review.

This was the worst car buying experience ever for us. The salesman was pleasant enough while lying outright. The sales manager was rude and the finance person was deceptive. They wanted to make sure we told our friends about the experience. They were caught in a number of lies and thought we would be happy. We have purchased 2 new vehicles and lease/financed two other new vehicles from Westbrook Honda in the past 6 years. Manu Serohi was the salesman we dealt with regarding the lease financing in the last two years. I always consider purchasing or leasing a new vehicle a great big headache similar to having a root canal. Manu has steered us well through the process and has assisted us in working out glitches based on our specific needs. He is very courteous, professional, and trustworthy. We will definitely consider him when we need to either purchase or lease another vehicle.

This was the third car that I've purchased from Westbrook Honda and from Larry Bagley. He is very personable, works hard, and is always looking out for the customer. When we wanted a Honda Accord and there wasn't one that fit our budget on the lot, we used the Lorensen website to locate one at Honda of Watertown. He made several calls to inquire about the history of the car and didn't stop until the car was delivered to Westbrook. When it came time to make a deal, Larry was helpful in getting us a good deal. When we went to pick up the car, there was a change in the % rate for the financing, and it was a simple miscommunication. We went ahead with the deal but to show that they cared about our business, Chris Paduch, gave us a voucher for two free oil changes. I understand that mistakes can happen but it's what a dealership does to make amends that truly shows that they care about their customers.I would highly recommend this dealership as well as personally recommend Larry as a salesman. We will be back for our next car.

I've bought 3 Honda's here... went back for another btw since I already had one car with Honda they had to do some work on getting it approved.. fine not a problem.. in the meanttime they told me since u bought a few cars there already that they were gonna give me an amazing deal no one could touch... so they give mw a price and it seemed fair.. but was it... had to go home and wait a few days for the credit..during those next 24 hours I played around d a lot on the Honda site at one point hitting the finance calculator.. put my deposit amount in and my lease terms and guess what happened....I got the same price I was quoted for being such a great loyal customer... wait I lead... my quote was .98 cents more cause they rounded up to the nearest $$ then I said Wtf and checked my trade in value... holy crap my car is worth about $4500 more than I was quoted..DO NOT GO HERE.. I WILL NEVER EVER GO NEAR HERE AGAIN... I sold my car on craigslist in 12 minutes for 3000 more... I delivered it 20 min later... I've gotten about 50 calls for it in 2 ddays.. I got the same car with a lower deposit for $102 less a month at executive.. Westbrook Honda... grediest dealership in CT.. UVE BEEN WARNED...

Do not go to this dealership if you have any choice whatsoever, and especially avoid Manu Serohi. They violated the agreement we reached for turning in my wife's old leased car in exchange for a new one, which resulted in a negative report on her credit and forcing her to pay $460 out of pocket, money she really didn't have. Essentially, as part of the new lease package they agreed to forgive a few hundred miles over the lease limit and some light acorn damage / spoiler damage to the car. They showed us an appraisal for the damage to the car and said that as part of a new lease package they would cover that damage (literally picture a sales guy crumpling up a piece of paper and throwing it in the trash with a dramatic flourish). This was actually the sole reason we leased another Honda. We had been looking at another car that we liked significantly more, but having to pay out the extra mileage and for the damage to the old leased car made re-leasing with Honda a much better financial decision, so that's what we ended up doing. And, of course, because they were supposedly taking a hit by covering that damage, they refused to budge on the actual leasing price. Fast-forward to a month later, when my wife is getting late payment calls from Honda financial. Confused, she tried calling Manu at Westbrook Honda, who proved nearly impossible to reach. Over the course of trying to deal with all this, she called probably a dozen times and left multiple voicemails, which were ignored. She eventually had to go in to the dealership (which was about ~30 minutes away, why she hadn't gone in earlier), at which point the dealership and Manu refused to honor the agreement. And, such experts they are at customer relationships that they chose to tell her at that moment that she owed her state vehicle taxes for the year, which was another $300, making the check she had to write that day $760.Don't go to this dealership, and, in general, if you make this kind of arrangement make sure you get it in writing!

Being a 21 year girl with not mch experience in car shopping Manu made my visit absolutely spectacular. He explained everything and what would be the best way to go about buying a car for myself. He worked hard to get me the best deal giving me a substantial amount of money for an old trade in. He also explained all the the best routes of purchasing a car whether leasing, buying new or old would be better. He is very personable and accommodating to your personal needs, he did not try and sell me the most expensive car or push for anything past the base model. Overall he made my whole experience memorable and fun even last to the balloons and advice from him. He definitely went the extra mile and I would buy another car from him in a heart beat.

He is not pettythat is, he will not try to squeeze extra dollars out of your pocket just because. He has principles. After the arrival of our newborn twins I knew it was time for a bigger vehicle. Having eliminated the minivan category, I settled on a Honda Pilot. I was contacted by Henry right away and I went to Westbrook to see what they had. I was impressed by the inventory of Pilots but I was more impressed by Henry. I knew he would have preferred to get a deal done since it was a slow Saturday but he let me walk out without too much pressure to make a deal. I gladly called back Monday to seal it. I got a good deal on my trade in. Randy was helpful with the financing and the extended warranty. I decided later that I didn't want a black SUV so I called Henry and he found a blue one at another dealership without any hesitation. I contacted Henry the day I was going to pick up the vehicle and asked if he could get a roof rack put on it. Done without question. Henry really did everything I asked, he's a real pro. If you go to Westbrook Honda for a new car ask for Henry by name, he won't let you down.

When I walked in the building every salesman ignored me, so I just kept walking and in the far corner of the showroom was Manu's desk. Even though I was still at a distance, he looked up and asked if he could help me. I consider myself lucky not to have been helped by the others. Manu is very knowledgeable and is able to convey that information in terms that make sense. He also listened to what I was in the market for and convinced me that a lease of a new car was the way to go. I am a very skeptical purchaser, so I had many conversations and several visits with Manu; he was as patient with me at the end as he was in the beginning. He is a very hard worker and as straightforward as they come. He also stands behind his word. The lease price was not what he had quoted me (through no fault of Manu's), but he apologized and fixed it right away. Manu is unlike any other car salesman with whom I've ever dealt. I wholeheartedly recommend him!

Since our last purchase with Sammy, he has continued to keep in touch with us and he always goes out of his way to chat us when we bring the car in for maintenance. So when we decided to buy another Honda, we returned to Westbrook and to Sammy. He is always courteous and friendly, never pushy and always patiently works with us to get us the car that is right for us....and the price too! I only wish I could give a rating of 10 for Larry. What this man did was way above and beyond the call of duty. He believed in me being able to get a used car more than I did. That confidence and courtesy he extended to me was quite commendable, as I was in complete pain as I had just been in a car accident and could hardly walk into the dealership. This man actually picked out a car he thought I would like and could afford and brought it to my house for my viewing. The minute I saw it's classiness, felt the good thud of closing the car door, and the sound of the engine, I bought it in my mind before even driving it ! My first experience with the dealer was on a Saturday. My mom and I walked onto the lot and were greeted by Sammy who introduced himself and let us browse the lot on our own. A tremendous relief to us for we had been attacked by other sales people at other dealers all day. My mom and I left with some good information. A few days later I had decided a honda civic was the car for me. My dad called the dealer at 8pm, an hour before close, and Manu gladly encouraged them to come on down. Manu stayed and talked with my parents in person and myself on the phone through the entire process and got everything ready for my lease by 10pm that night, staying an hour after close and I'm sure longer, to help us out. On Saturday we went to pick up my car and met Sammy again. He came over and talked to us and even though it was Manu's delivery appointment Sammy got us started on everything because we arrived early and I had work later that evening. Sammy was nice and very informative. Manu arrived halfway through and filled up my car and handed me my keys. He turned us over to the manager, Randy, who honestly was not the most personable. But I don't want to ruin the review with that. Manu and Sammy's charismatic personalities and genuine care and concern for my car and my lease made this hands down the best sales experience we've ever had. I highly recommend working with either of these sales professionals. They allow you to browse and look without any pressure. Just be warned that the manager I worked with had that traditional car salesman vibe but luckily you only see them for a few minutes. Thank you Manu and Sammy!!!

My wife and I came into westbrook honda looking for a new car, not only did we find a new car we found a great sales consultant that we built a relationship with. Manu Serohi treated us very well and was very patient with us. He did not try and take advantange of us being such a young couple. He was also very knowledgeable of all the products he was represting and had a factual answer to all the questions we were asking. We also had a plesent experience in the finace department with Randy Searles which at times can be confusing for anyone. He took the time to go over all documents with us and explain them clearly. I would recommend manu and westbrook honda to anyone looking to buy a honda. Because of manu, my wife and I feel that we found a sales consultant and dealship for a very long time to come. I would also like to thank the service staff for getting the car prepared in a timely mannor and having it look as great as it did.

My family and I visited a number of Honda and Acura dealerships over the past four weeks and we found Westbrook Honda to be the most informative. Our objective was to find a car for our daughter that was both youthful and safe. We were so impressed by Sammy Amer's overview of all the safty features in your Honda. It was for that reason we decided to make the purchase of your Honda Accord Coupe. We learned so much from Sammy. We just couldn't get over the how no other dealership covered such an important factor in a vehicle. Sammy definatly put our minds at ease for safty.Larry Bagley also played a big role in our decision on purchasing a car from Westbrook Honda. This purchase was going to be our daughter's first big buy. Larry helped to put her mind at ease by telling her how he too was nervous the first time he made his big purchase. From the moment I parked at the dealership, a smiling sales representative greeted me and offered his help. I knew which particular vehicle I was interested in-- my sister-in-law had just called my attention to it from an online search she had conducted. He was able to take me right to it; and after an initial inspection, we went to the office for a cup of tea as we further discussed my needs and plans. Afterwards he accompanied me on a short test drive in the locale-- I live nearby. I was very impressed with the car, and especially with the representative, as he patiently answered my questions. I paid a deposit to hold the car for two days, so I could go home to discuss the matter with my family and my financial adviser-- I am retired, and must proceed cautiously with any significant purchase. I was ready to proceed with the deal when I returned. That day I paid a second deposit and took a longer drive. When I got back from that, I was offered a delicious lunch as we quickly settled on the remaining financial details. I signed the agreement on the spot and made another appointment for three days later, when I brought in a cashier's check for the final payment; the transfer was completed over a cup of coffee. Throughout I enjoyed a very pleasant experience, and I never felt pressured or rushed. I would not hesitate to return to this dealership in the future, and can honestly recommend it to any of my friends and acquaintances.

We received excellent service from Tim Devlin and the rest of the sales staff at Westbrook Honda. Tim listened carefully to what we were looking for, then he patiently and regularly contacted us with possible used vehicles that fit our particular needs. Once the proper vehicle showed up on their lot, Tim contacted us right away and arranged a test drive. There was no pressure, and all our needs were met. Our experience with Tim and Westbrook Honda changed our opinions about buying cars from dealers. We're very satisfied with our purchase.

Westbrook Honda has never let me down. My family has purchased/leased 3 vehicles with them so far and I will certainly continue to go back in the future. The employees work hard to get you the best deal possible. Everybody there is friendly and knowledgeable. The facility itself is clean and inviting. While you are waiting, you can help yourself to a free cup of tea/coffee/water. Service there is great too! No need for a service appointment. Just drive right in and you are good to go. Although I have never used this service, I believe they have a van that will drop you off and pick you up at the outlet mall down the road while you wait for your car. Overall, this Honda dealership is one of the best.

I had been comparison shopping for a new car at several Honda dealerships. I wasn't sure which Honda would fit my needs (Accord, Civic or Fit). I was helped by Manu Serohi, who I found to be very friendly, hard working and very knowledgeable. When I told him I needed to think it over, he was patient and understanding. It had been 17 years since I had purchased a new car. Manu and Mike Hamilton gave me the best deal. Manu was also assisting Michael Hulbert, who I believe was a new emloyee in training. My wife and I had been shopping for a car a few months ago. We were helped by Manu, and never forgot the friendly and knowledgeable service he provided. When we told him that we wanted to wait a few months, we expected that he would be disappointed and put on pressure. To the contrary, Manu was friendly, and told us that he looked forward to seeing us when we were ready. We never forgot him, so, yesterday we returned to buy our car. No shopping around for the best deal; we were certain that Manu would give us the best deal. Once again, he was very hard working, friendly, extremely knowledgeable. Manu not only helped us greatly with selecting our car, but was very helpful with structuring the best financing for our circumstances. Last night, after we drove home, I spent some time studying the paperwork. This past week I had finally paid off my previous car and decided it was time to look for a new vehicle that was safe for my family to drive. My wife and I were ready to purchase a new or used vehicle that fit exactly what we were looking for. I ended up at Westbrook Honda after a bad experience at another Honda dealership that left me apprehensive in buying something new to drive. The staff at Westbrook went above and beyond to find a vehicle that fit my budget and within my timeline. There was no "run-around" or misgivings in terms of what they were offering and what I wanted to buy. They took time and care to treat me like a valued customer (even though it was my first time at the dealership). I would highly recommend their staff to anyone looking to purchase a new or used car. I had 2 children with me, 8 and 5, and he was very patient and accomodating. He responded to calls and questions timely and made the process easy. I checked out Westbrook Honda after a recommendation and being told by another local Honda dealer that I was unable to get out of a bad loan with another company for a used (pre-owned car) and would need a lease. Leasing wasn't something I personally was interested in, so just for kicks I went to visit Westbrook Honda after calling and getting Tim on the phone. He was very helpful, took down all of the information and listened. He knew what I wanted and what I didn't want, he didn't show me cars he already knew I wasn't interested in or bring up the idea of a lease. This made a car buying experience better then I could have imagined. He helped me find a 2011 Honda with just under 9,000 miles and certified so I wouldn't need the extra warranty the other company had over-charged me on. They gave me a fair price for my trade in and didn't require too much for me to get out of the bad deal. I especially liked that Tim was very nice about me having a fourteen month son and helped me to make sure my large stroller would fit in the trunk and the carseat in the car. This is something all parents can relate to. Overall, love driving the new car and feel like it's more reliable and safe for my son and I. I would recommend Honda of Westbrook to friends and family that are looking for a decent place to shop, get a large variety and good service.

We went to look at a car we saw online. It had been sold so we were offered another car at the same price. There was a sale running and they got us the sale price on the last day of the sale. Everyone was friendly and courteous. Our dealer, Sean, is a new employee to the dealership. He made every effort to ensure our satisfaction and we were his first sale. Originally went to get a oil change on my honda cr-v. Waited a while so knew right away that there were gonna be repairs needed. The guy at the desk for the MECHANIC station was really nice and numbered each repair I would need in number of importance(which i asked and he really didn't need to do). I have been thinking of trading in my car for a different Honda for a while and this gave me a good opportunity/reason/excuse to. The guy set me up with sales consultant LARRY BAGLEY. I already knew exactly what type of car I was interested in, so that made things a little easier. We talked about the car I was trading in and the new car I would be interested in. While the Cr-v was getting apprasied,I took a test drive in the civic ex coupe. Larry was really easy to talk to, not pushy at all and was really informative about the car. The same day went home with the civic and a couple days later had the car registered and blue tooth set up(they even washed and vacummed it out while I was finishing with the financing). Throughout the process I never felt pressured or uncomfortable. Buying a car through Westbrook Honda was actually...fun and made me have a different postitive impression on car salesmen. I'm pretty picky---> the whole process went perfectly. Was set up with a excellent sales man, communicated with a great sales manager and friendly finance manager. Couldn't of been better and I have nothing negative to say(except my interest rate---but you get what you pay for and it's worth it; I Love the car!)Larry Bagley, Mike Hamilton, & Randy Searles were professional, friendly, personable, informative, and after leaving the dealership were easy to contact about registration/finacing. This was the best experience we have ever had at a dealership. Everyone was very friendly, helpful, personable and knew all the answers (or found out quickly). All of the employees at Westbrook Honda seemed as if they were all family, the vibe was great, smiles all around. They are very thoughtful and made sure we got the best car for our needs. We were even given a nice loaner until our new car arrived. When we picked up our new car we had a 2 hour in depth appointment "getting to know your car" and we couldn't have asked for more! My husband and I went into Westbrook Honda for an oil change on our 2006 Honda Accord. We came home with a new 2011 Honda Accord! Manu was very helpful and easy to talk to. He was very serious about selling us a car but didn't pressure us into buying. He showed us all the wonderful features or the car. This is our 4th Honda Accord each one better than the last. Hopefully when we are ready to buy our next car Manu will still be there. We look forward to seeing him on our first oil change visit.

I recently was in the market for a new car and honda was suggested to me....walked into the showroom and was impressed! very courteous and i got hooked up with manu....very friendly and we got down to business...since i knew what i wanted i test drove it and wow! i was sold...manu was very knowledgeable amd likeable....we got down to business ..he offered us coffee etc... we talked about the car , the options that one could add; needed versus luxury...an dthe process began..talking with the insurance....signing paperwork..getting the car ready...the financing...all handled professionally.....there is so much paperwork involved and between manu and chris i got everything signed and processed and explained....manu even helped me straighten out an issue with my insurance....very helpful and manu is there for his buyers.... right up to when iu drove out he was explaining things to me ..making sure i was comfortabloe with the car. also , if needed his help call him and he would help me get it resolved! that is service! listen to the what the customer wants, give them great service and back it up with great customer service....win win!

My significant other and I recently decided to buy a brand new car. Our greatest concerns were safety, fuel economy, and re-sale value. We were considering a Honda, as they fit our criteria, and, living on the shoreline, we headed to Westbrook Honda (one of the pristine 'Jon Lorensen' dealerships).It was there that I became acquainted with Manu Seorhi,the salesman that ultimately closed our deal. I've always been leery of car salesmen, but discovered that my man knew Manu and they respected and trusted each other. From the moment I walked in, and each subsequent time, I never felt pressured or uncomfortable. Manu was knowledgeable, gracious, stunning in appearance, and incredibly funny! Anyone observing us might have questioned whether we were really serious about purchasing a car, as we joked, laughed, and kidded around during our time with Manu! Aside from this, Manu is very serious about the service he offers and manuvered us through the buying process,running back and forth numerous times to further negotiate a better deal through his sales manager, for us. We did purchase a 2012 Honda Civic EX and am happy to say that the entire process was actually enjoyable and stress-free thanks to Manu! By the time we were ready to drive off with our new car, Manu had already set up my phone, set the door locks , showed us how to use our ipod, and was personally removing the 'sticker price' from the windshield, when I realized that I'd found a friend in Manu and look forward to returning for our first oil change or to fix our first ding in anticipation of seeing Manu's big smile and having a few more laughs together. Manu made us feel like family and that's really saying something!!

Hi everybody we bought the new Honda civic 2012 Ex wow what a great car also it rides so good that we even forgot to test drive the other makes and brands we had on our list. We live on the shoreline. One thing we would definitely like to put out there was we were very nervous to how people are treated during the car buying experience we visited Westbrook Honda as it is our local dealer and we were very defensive of giving out any information to the so called "Car Salesman". Then we came across this great gentleman named Manu Serohi who all along kept on doing all we asked him to do and also answered all our questions for an amazing 2 hrs but did not show any signs of force selling when we came to the negotiations he very honestly asked us for what is our opinion to where we think this car should be priced. Well looking at the car, dealership, great service we thing the car was 2000 dollars worth more than it is on MSRP. Some of you might think this a joke, well let me ask everyone out there when we go to work at our jobs or the line of work we are in and our bosses would like to pay a little less I will not accept that and I believe no one else would too, that is if we are worth our while, similarly we were very fair paid the MSRP of the car as we did not see any reason to lower the price as we were treated with great respect and kindness. We recommend Westbrook Honda very highly and of course not without meeting Manu Serohi. He is also a funny good guy will make you laugh.Thank you for reading.

We moved from NY to CT at the time our lease was ending on our CR-V. Our dealership in NYC had closed about a year ago so I was happy to find another Honda dealer close to our new home. I called and made an appointment with Manu, we were greeted warmly when we arrived at the dealership, Manu was running a bit behind with another couple so he introduced us to Henry to get our info and start talking about cars. We were not totally pleased with the 2008 CR-V comfort level so we wanted to look at a sedan. Henry actually encouraged us to look at the new CR-V which now has an adjustable drivers side seat. We were happy he showed us this but still really wanted a sedan. By that point Manu was available and took the time to ask what features were really important to us and brought out an Accord. We took it for a test drive and loved it. However we found a snag that as we still had our out of state licenses we could not register the car in CT. No problem, they let us set up the lease and take the car home with us with a dealer plate on the agreement we would get our CT licenses and come back to finish up the registration paperwork. I found everyone at Westbrook Honda to be helpful and friendly. I would recommend them highly and am happy to find such a great dealership close to our new home.

The experience of our dealings with Westbrook Honda we attribute entirely to our experience with Larry Bagley. He was attentive and knowledgeable with out that highly irritating chase around the dealership (unlike other sales consultants there. We would only deal with Larry in any future dealings at Westbrook Honda.

I had two very different experiences at Westbrook Honda, see below.My 1st experience with Westbrook Honda was a very enjoyable experience. I went in talked to Larry about what I was looking for and what my price range was. He called me the very next day with a car. He was very professional, friendly and courteous. I also had a chance to speak with Chris in the finance department, he was also very understanding and helpfull. I would recommend both of these employees to anyone that would be looking for a new or used car. On the down side I had a not so good experience with your finance man Randy. I felt he was very pushy and did not give me the correct information. I beleive he out right lied to me. If it were not for Larry and Chris I would have taken my business to some other dealer. In the long run I am glad I stayed with Westbrook Honda. I love my car and your service people are also very good to work with. I purchased my first Honda, last year in August. I have been a Chevrolet fan for the majority of my life, but my father convinced me to give Honda a look. When I arrived I was greeted by Manu Serohi as I entered the building. Before we even spoke about cars, Manu was courteous enough to offer me a complementary coffee, which I took full advantage of. With coffee in hand, we then proceeded outside to take a look at some of the used Hondas. Being a college student, I didn't think that a new car was even an option for me. However, Manu discussed my budget with me and suggested that I consider leasing a 2010 Honda, with an option to purchase after the lease expired. He thoroughly explained to me the option, with my best interests in mind concerning payments, insurance, and practicality given the current economic situation. After Manu explained to me how Realtime 4WD worked, I decided that the CR-V was the best option for me(and it really paid off after the winter we had here in Connecticut in 2010!!!) When we sat down to talk numbers, Manu was very understanding of my situation and was constantly going back and forth with his manager attempting to get me the best price. I had previously owned a Malibu Maxx by Chevrolet and was initially quoted at a lower price than I expected to get for it. Again, Manu spoke with the used car manager and was again able to meet my needs in getting a bump up on the quote. We finally struck up and deal, and the car was made ready in the time that I was told, and in a quick and orderly fashion. The car was clean, and drove like a champ. Manu met everyone of my needs in the process and was very understanding of my situation.I would strongly reccommend to anyone looking to buy a Honda to drive down to Westbrook and ask for Manu specifically by name.

We worked with Manu Serohi, who spent alot of time taking us out for a test drive and explaining all of the different features of the car. He went over the manufacturer's and dealer's warranty. Showed us the service area and explained about bringing in the car and scheduling for service. Our car was ready when promised and again Manu went over all the different parts and features of the car before we left. I would definitely recommend Manu and Westbrook Honda to friends and family.

I bought my civic from Westbrook Honda in 2006 when I was living in CT. I have since moved to Providence. Last week the exhaust pipe on my car snapped and I took it into Metro Honda in Rhode Island because it was close. I ended up pulling my car out of service in Rhode Island because I didn't like the way that they were treating me, as well as the fact that they could not offer me a loaner for the weekend while they worked on my car. The service employees in Rhode Island seemed only to be interested in closing up for the day. I ended up driving the 90 miles to Westbrook because they told me that they could get my car in and give me a loaner until my car was finished being worked on. The customer service was excellent- Bryan Gustis, the service manager, was very helpful. The dealership drove my car out to Rhode Island for me in order to swap it with the loaner. Overall, it was a really good experience and I will definitely continue to bring my car to Westbrook, despite living out of state. It's worth the drive!

Westbrook Honda is the best dealership around; they have a one of a kind sales team that doesnt turnover week to week like all the other dealerships! They are all certified and factory trained. My name is Jerry Gil I am a firefighter and a Soldier in the US Army National Guard, me and my wife have purchased 4 cars from Manu, he is the most honest and sincere person I have ever met. I feel compelled to write about my experience because I stumbled on this web-site and all I have read is a bunch of crap from people who like to blame other people for there own problems. No one is loyal anymore they bounce from dealer to dealership playing games and bashing them every chance they get because they didnt get there way. I think its pathetic that people play games like this and then go on Blogs or even reputable consumer resources like this vomit there nonsense and in the process rob people from there own experience. Westbrook Honda has a top-notch service department with courteous employees who are professional and knowledgeable. They have years of experience and dont miss a beat when it comes to taking care of all of your needs. Two of the cars I purchased were used, yes used that means another person had them before me! The service department went through them with a fine toothcomb I didnt have a single issue with either of them! Any time that I have brought my car in for service the refer to me by name they listen to everything I tell them and when I pick my car up after its completed every issue has been addressed. Westbrook Honda and more importantly Manu have been very good to me I wont buy a Honda anywhere else. I will be leaving for a deployment in 11 months and when I return I plan on buying my 5th Honda from him. At the end of the day all I really am trying to say is make your own decisions dont listen to the garbage people post on here or anywhere else. Manu and the people at this dealership are real people and if youre in the market for a good Honda or used car I recommend that you find out for you self!

I recently purchased a used vehicle from westbrook honda, a Honda CR-V. The sales experience was difficult and almost didn't happen because of one sales person. I initially went to look at a used car after driving through the lot and saw a vehicle that match what we were looking for in a new car. Sales person, Larry Bagley, showed us the vehicle and took a test drive. Unfortunately that night we were limited for time and said we would be coming back. I called the next day to see if I could bring my car in to be evaluated as a trade-in and was told Larry was in but not available. When we arrived we were informed by another salesperson, Manu Serohi, that Larry was not in(we later found out it was his day off) and he would help us. We looked at the CR-V again as our car was being evaluated. When we came back in to talk "numbers" we were informed that our car was not worth much as a trade-in because of potential mechanical issues but that Manu was able to get them to bump up the price to make the offer tolerable. I tried to negotiate with them but was told because of the current situations with car parts coming from Japan that prices of used cars were going up and we were lucky that we were getting the sticker price because the car was soon to be going up in price. The most alarming statement from Mr. Serohi was in reference to dealer profit when he said "sometimes dealerships don't make much profit in sales but this is a time when they do" When I did make another offer on the CR-V which Mr. Serohi brought to the Salesmanager (might have been the GM) I could see Mr. Serohi say something to the manager and the manager start laughing. Now Mr. Serohi said it was a unrelated joke between the two of them but during a negotiation I don't feel it is very appropriate to joke around in front of potential customers. Never the less after much fruitless talking we left without a new car. Thankfully, for them, Larry called us back the following day and worked diligently and hard to get us some more for our trade and work on the price. Because of his hard work and commitment to his customers we bought a certified used car from Westbrook Honda. The CR-V is in excellent shape and after a few days of driving it, we are very happy about buying it.I would recommend working with Larry Bagley but I will be telling friends to steer clear of Mr. Serohi because I feel Mr. Serohi is in it for the dealership not his customers.

We had a great experience at Westbrook Honda. They were very accomodating. It was a pleasure to deal with them. I had not expected to buy a car when we went there for a test drive. They worked with us so well that I had no problem making a deal with them that day.

I want to upgrade my review. The tire pressure light went on when I got home with my new car. I took it back this morning and they found a nail/screw in the tire. They repaired it at no charge and returned a clean car to me in short order. The waiting area is pleasant and comfortable and the people pleasant to deal with. I was impressed.

The salesmen and dealership were very friendly, made the process easy, and gave me a good deal. Had vehicles serviced at this dealership before and they were excellent and quick. Dealt with the salesman, Sammy Amer, before he has always been helpful, never pushy, friendly, and works with you for a good deal.

I went to look at a used car on their lot Friday.I insisted I take the car to my own personal mechanic over the weekend.They were hesitant but agreed I can bring the car back Monday when I have decided,BUT someone else was already interested in the same vehicle and has put a deposit down in case I don't take the car. I had put down $500 deposit to take the car off the lot already. I drove about 10 miles to my house and parked. There was smoke and an odor from the drivers side tire area. I brought the car back Sat at opening 9am. I explained to 3 different people the problem. They said they would look at it and call me later that day. At 3pm I had not heard and had left 2 messages for Manu already. I showed up at the dealership to ask in person what was going on. They said the front brake caliper was frozen but had been fixed. I can't believe they don't test drive these cars themselves before letting their customers take them. How UNSAFE is that!! They will say anything to get you to buy from them. I went on the free CarFax report to add commments on the vehicle I tested. Be Aware of their TRICKS!

Went to the dealer looking at a couple of vehicles advertised. We were told right away that one of them was just sold. The sales person (Randy) went to check on the other one. When he came back he said it was sold also. He then asked what we were looking for. At that point, another person (sales manager perhaps?) called Randy to him and they talked between them and then Randy said wait here. After 10 minutes he had pulled a Ford Explorer up for us to look at. We told him we weren't thinking Ford, but my daughter (who was the one shopping for a car) said she would look at it. She ended up driving it and liked it. We came back in and talked about the vehicle, we had noticed that 3 of the tires looked like they needed replacement. Randy said they couldn't put new tires on it. This was a 4wd vehicle and 1 tire was different from the other 3. We said we wouldn't buy it without 4 matching tires. He spoke with the sales mgr and agree to put 3 new matching tires on it. We then said we wanted to think about it and were going to Denny's to eat and talk about it. Randy informed us that they would be open until 8pm. We said we would be back tonight. Denny's service was severly slow, but when my husband and daughter had walked back over there - they were locked up and heading for their cars. It was 7:30. I know this because I had looked at the clock and as I said they walked back over so I would have my car to drive my granson back over when he finished eating. They also told us they wouldn't be able to get financing on the vehicle because it was too old and the mileage was too high.Guess it wasn't meant to be and from the other reviews here - better that we didn't buy from here. I would NOT recommend this dealership. That baited us in, switched to another vehicle then refused to try to finance it AFTER trying to sell it to us.

Because I was a serious buyer and I asked the sales rep not to waste my time and asked for the best price. She consulted with financial manager and came back to me with the exact sticker price of the car. As I got up and put on my coat she protested that "I didn't give her anything to work with". Apparently asking for the "best price" wasn't in her vernacular. As I was exiting the showroom the financial manager approached me and apologized stating that the rep was inexperienced. I said "but you are not and you gave her the directive" and the punch line here is he then said to me that he gave me the best price, but it was the "best price for the dealer". Semantics. I continued to walk out of that dealership.

This dealership is terrible. I am not sure where to even begin with this. I went into the dealership because I knew chris. However I did not know that he was being employed by a dealer full of scamming liars. The day that I had signed my contract, I was in a rush. I had an appointment for 6pm they didn't bring me into the office until 645pm. That evening the business manager (randy) said that he wasn't going to be able to register my car because of some rule he made up about my license expiring within 60 days. I called honda coporate to verify this information and they denied knowing anything about it. I made randy aware that it was going to be a minimum of two weeks before I was going to be able to get my license, he said no problem come in when you can. Two days later I receive a phone call, he said we need that license today. I said no i cant do it today its going to be a while. He said no problem just call before you come up. about a week later he calls again, this time yelling on my voicemail that we "needed the dealer plate back likkeeee yesterday, I will take other actions towards taking the car if needed" after this phone call i was extremely irritated. I called honda corporate which opened a case against the dealership (still not closed). after the two weeks i received another phone call saying they made several errors on the contract and that they were going to need me to come back down to resign. I decided that sounds like a perfect scam opprutunity so i decided they can take the car back that I had purchased from them. Also they failed to pay off my trade in for the full amount of loan, leaving me with the remainder of the balance. which i paid and now have the title to my trade in because they failed to follow through with the full payment. I told them they can have the title to the car if they let me out of this whole deal. they said i would have to pay the full amount for my trade in which they had already sold (8,800). Sound like a scam to you??? It probably is. Avoid this dealership at all cost. The general manager was fired for some reason, this dealership has a credibility issue......do not trust them.......they will try to pull a fast one on you.

Do not go to this dealership. They are lairs. I was told one price over the phone, came in and was given a different price. The sales person lied in front of her boss, telling me she quoted me that price. They were not willing to match another dealers price, so they actually asked me to leave, and would not work with me. I do not know what kind of dealership they are running - the customer service is horrible. I have been to many other dealerships when I was looking for a new car - all of the other dealerships I went to the customer service was excellent. I did buy a new car from a great dealership in Branford, and am so glad I did, everyone there is very helpful and nice. Do yourself a favor and visit a real dealership.

If you are looking for a new or used car,and want a good experience-drive right past Westbrook Honda and go to the next dealership.This is long but worth the read,if you like to keep your money.I met with Kevon Morin(sales rep),and explained to him what I wanted for a specific certified used car in the $15,000 price range.I told Kevon exactly what I wanted to put down,and exactly what I was willing to spend per month for 36 months.He didnt have what I was looking for but offered me an older model with more miles.I declined.He insisted on "running some numbers" on the car that he didnt have for me.He was giving me sample scenarios at 7.5% interest over 5 years,and 4.9% interest over 4 years.I told him that neither was an option.The rate for 36 months is 2.9%,and thats the term and rate I want.He introduced me to the "sales manager" Marc Ethier,who turned out to be the absolute biggest liar and weasel that I have ever met in my life.When you think of slimebag salesmen,this guy is the poster boy.All Marc wanted to do was "run some numbers".I told him no,and left.When I got back home 45 minutes later,Kevon called me saying that the car I want just came in off-lease,and he can sell it (non-certified) for $500 more than I was looking to spend.I explained that the price was close but I want it certified for that.He called back and said he can certify it for $65 more per month than I was willing to spend.I declined,told him that it was over $2k more than I can spend,and that I would keep looking.Within minutes,I got a message on my phone that "Marc" says we are very close,and he wants to put a deal together.He wants to earn my business.He can do it for $25 more per month,than I was initially willing to spend,in addition to my desired down payment.He asked me to please come out before 5 pm the next day,see it and work a deal.Well,its close,so I figured its worth a shot.///////////////////This part is the real kicker////////////////I called Kevon the next day,and told him that I would be there at about 4:15 or so,and I would be bringing my wife,and my checkbook.At 4:10,Kevon called to make sure I hadnt had a change of heart.I assured him,I was running a little late,but I was half-way there.I live over 35 miles from Westbrook and it was a Holiday weekend.At 4:30 he called,and said that it was a slow day and Marc wanted to close up early.I told him that I was only a few minutes away,and I had my checkbook ready.He said,"Yeah,we're closing up now.I'll talk to you later." Real nice guy.He knew I drove all the way out there to see this car,and he locked up and sent me home packing.70 miles round trip driving,and an hour and a half wasted.I pulled in to Westbrook,and sure enough,it was dark and locked.The car was sitting in the garage bay.So much for being there until 5:00,and wanting to put a deal together.I drove home furious,and called Marc to ask what happened.He told me that when they pulled it in the shop to get it out of the rain,they started talking #s,and figured they couldnt sell it at that price,since it would only be a $400 profit,after it was certified.Yes,that is what he actually told me!So instead of being a man,and telling me earlier,or even telling me in person-he decided to run home early and hide from it,until I called him.--So Kevon and Marc are both liars,and neither of them had the guts to tell me.I told him that a small profit and a happy customer go a lot farther towards building business,than a big profit,and someone who is going to badmouth you when they see what a scam you try to operate.His response was that he would "run some numbers",and call me back the next day by 3pm.3pm comes,no call.Just before 4,Marc finally calls.(Apparently Westbrook is in a different time zone than the rest of the state)He is very cocky and says that xxx is the price of the vehicle,plus tax tags,fees,etc.His "new price" without all the extras is still $1500 more than my quoted "out the door price" from the day before.I call BS,and head down to the dealership.I walk in and head directly for this sleazebag's desk,and tell him calmly that he screwed up,disrespected me and my wife,wasted my time,and he should recheck his numbers,and make up for the mistake.He didnt shake my hand,or even apoligize for making me drive out there,while he ran away and hid with his scumbag buddies.He was very arrogant,and started manipulating numbers on the vehicle.I saw prices as high as $4000 over my quote,$110 a month over my desired payment,and 4 year payment options!!I picked up my cell phone,and played my saved message from Kevon,which clearly stated that he could do it for my desired down payment,with $25 more a month.Marc's only response was "I dont care what that says.Im not selling this car at a f*&$ing $400 profit."So he tells me straight out that he's making money off me,but still wants an additional $4000!I walked out and left a message for Jon Lorensen(owner) when I got
