It is rare to find a business in todays world, that makes you want to find people to send thier way. This is how I feel about Tindol. I am so surprised and impressed by the level of service of they provide. We drove nearly 3 hours to get to thier dealership - and it was worth every minute. I highly recommend!!

From start to finish my experience with Tindol Ford/Subaru was 5 Star all the way!!! From great online communications with Susan prior to my visit, to my onsite visit experience with Charles my salesman, to David in finance I couldn't have hoped for a better buying experience over all. I strongly advise anyone in the Charlotte/Gastonia area that is thinking about buying a new or used vehicle to give Tindol Ford a look. You won't be let down. I went in with preapproved financing with the best interest rate that I could find for a 60 loan and Tindol got me an even better rate in 20 minutes.

One week after purchasing a new f150 I had a flat tire at 300 miles on the truck. I found a small cotter pin punctured the tire in a non repairable area. I called Tindol and spoke to Chad on a Saturday and since the service dept. was closed at the time, he said " bring it in Monday and we'll try to do something for you". When I got there on Monday, Chad starts with the service dept. is separate from us and they're under no obligation to do anything for me. To top that off they didn't even have a new tire in stock only three used ones. I even called the service dept before driving from Charlotte and was told "yes, we have three in stock". Now I was being told they would have to order one and come back the next day. I asked Chad again what they were willing to do for me now? I was told basically they could do nothing and I should have purchased their road hazard warranty for $400.00 when it was offered at time of sale. I really don't recall being offered that but for that price I would have turned it down anyway. So I went to Discount Tire and they contacted the tire manufacturer and explained the 300 miles, new truck situation. The tire manufacturer covered 50% of the new tire cost! Thanks Discount Tire for making an effort for your customer. I even purchased road hazard insurance for the other tires at less than $100. That's called customer service!! Shame on you Tindol Ford. I'll never be back because you've shown me no reason to come back!

From the moment I started this process, Dave and Eddie were both wonderful! They went above and beyond to make the difficult situation of getting a new car after having one totaled an overall positive experience. They were patient with me while I made up my mind, honest with me about the process, and also gave me the ability to make a good decision by providing me with ample time driving the car I was considering. I am extremely thankful for the support that they provided. It didn't seem like just "another car purchase" to these guys. They took an interest in my situation, my family, and had my best interest in mind every step of the way. I was raised in a family of Ford owners, so it is definitely in my blood to continue this family trend. This salesman is the example to anyone that wants to purchase a vehicle. He has no pressure helpful approach to the automotive purchasing process. I felt no pressure or obligation to anything. I didn't even purchase a vehicle until 6 months after I first met him and he treated me just as nice as when I walked away as when I came back. That is the test of not just a great salesman but a great person. Not once did he try to sell me something I didn't ask for. He also didn't want me to settle on something else because he knew what would make me happy as a customer. I have referred people I know to him several times already and will ONLY use him as my salesperson moving forward. I plan on getting another vehicle for my family in a few years and I hope he is still at this dealership and doing what he is good at, being a great and honest person. He has completely changed the way that I feel about the car buying process.....and that's for the better. FYI 2016 Mustang GT (fantastic car, highly recommend one!)

Ok I got sold a lemon. These guys played my wife. I got a 30000 dollar used Volvo four or five things broken in car after being told by Scott and several other tindol xxxxxxxx it's my problem. My advice don't buy from this stealership.

I can't say enough good things about the team at Tindol and in the "Roush House". They are extremely honest folks who genuinely care about you getting the vehicle you are looking for at the best price. I found several other dealerships that make similar claims but only Tindol backed it up 100%. Lyle and Tito are extremely knowledgeable about their products and did a fantastic job with both the deal on the car and the orientation with the car and its features. They took the time and gave 100% of their focus and attention to me as the customer the entire time I was with them. Worked with David Montgomery in finance and he was extremely friendly, fast and efficient, very pleasant process. Highly recommend Tindol!

My first visit to Tindol I spoke with Dave Byerly and when I came back several days later Dave was not in and I met Mike Brown. Mike was quick to find the vehicle I wanted in his inventory. I told him where I had been offered the similar truck at another dealer and he worked to get the deal that I was satisfied with.. He was direct and to the point and worked hard to get the best finance rate for me. He went over the truck features and did a good job on the SYNC system. I found the staff at Earl Tindol body shop to be professional and courteous. Even though the repair took longer than I would have liked, that had to do with the availability of parts from Subaru. Once the parts were available, the repairs were accomplished in good time, and I was given phone updates several times a week. I truly appreciated the attention I received from Michelle. She was very gracious and kept me informed.Once I got my automobile back, I have found that it rides like new, and it looks like new. There is no evidence that it was in an accident. This body shop does excellent work, and I would have no reservations in recommending you to anyone in need of body work. Thanks!

This is the only place I will ever deal with again to buy my vehicles. We had been to a dealership closer to home and was treated very poorly when we did not like the salesperson's offer and payment. The next day I looked for reviews for Ford companies, and Tindol Ford had great ratings. We went to Tindol dealership that evening. We was treated with respect and friendliness. The salesperson Mike Brown, was awesome. After being treated poorly at the other dealership, and then coming to Tindol, was unbelievable. We left that evening with a Ford F150 XLT and a payment lower than anticipated. Mike Brown was our hero as well as the finance officer. And a big shout out to Mr. Sturgis for talking to me about mustangs and inviting us to some mustang outings. This place should be rated A++++

It was my first time using an internet sales person to purchase a car. Susan H. was extremely helpful in our email conversations. She actually responded very quickly to my emails compared to other dealers that took 2-3 days to respond to my inquire. In this day and age, we can be too busy to talk to people and email conversations are always a Plus. The internet staff provided me with all the information I needed as well as set up a time to meet at the dealership. At the dealership the staff made sure we had all the available cars we discussed in the email. They offered a competitive price on the F150 and provided me with a great trade in value. Doug from finance was also a great person to talk to. It was a drive from south charlotte but It was definitely worth it. Thank you Susan H. for making my first truck purchase a great experience

They were very accommodating for a car that wasn't ready to be sold. It needed to be inspected and cleaned up, but I was leaving town the next day for 2 weeks. I was determined to not lose this car which matched my needs. I had already had another car sold the same day I had an appointment to test drive with a different dealership.Thanks to everyone involved for their time and helpfulness to make this happen. Car was ready for pick up by my son a few days later in pristine condition.

Internet sales is how I bought my truck. Stephanie and Susan were more than accommodating! They made my purchase easy and painless. My truck was delivered to me (nearly 900 miles from the dealership) and they picked up my trade in. Really all i had to do was make a phone call to my financial group and give them Stephanie's information, and Stephanie took it from there. Let's start first by complementing the visual aspect of the dealership. Seeing the top end of the market sitting there in front of you was very enticing. Preston Lane took his time with me and my family. Very personable guy. I will NEVER buy a car or truck from anyone else. "See you in a few weeks I hope" And I would recommend him to anyone. The manager, Summner, was so pleasant to deal with as well. I was glad he was involved in this process. It made it much less stressful. I will be back in a few weeks to look at a new truck for myself and I will not be dealing with anyone but these two guys. I hope they don't leave this dealership. They are a very good team! Customer care was 200%. I felt like I won and my wife is happy with her Explorer. That's what made me the happiest. My family is safe on the road in our new car and I have Tindol backing me. Thank you! Also getting a greeting from the owner was an unexpected pleasure. She's so wonderful! I'm so glad she has these two people working with her. I purchased an ideal vehicle at a competing dealership reaching my sales requirements. I hope Tindol Ford will see the lost opportunity here in my sales business....the Ford website used by their competitor to secure my x-plan rates has a drop down box for choice of vehicles the customer wished to purchase. One included the Ford Focus electric the other choices included the Ford Focus SE their competitor used their extended knowledge to provide me rates that Tindol did not offer.

I had an excellent experience at tindol Ford Roush. From the beginning of the test drive to the end of the signing of papers everyone was very kind, courteous and pleasant to be around. When I came to the dealer I already knew that I wanted to purchase a new Roush. The sales manager greeted me properly as soon as he saw me looking at the car. He answered my questions and within a few minutes had the keys for me to take it out for a spin. I have never had that kind of customer experience with any other dealer. I am 42 years old and I have bought a lot of cars since I have been an adult. They do their best to be able to make the sale within your budget you come in with. I can't say enough good about them and will recommend them to everyone I speak to.

This was my first service appointment at Tindol Ford. I've never had a good experience elsewhere so I was expecting the same from Tindol. I was quite surprised when I arrived and was greeted by Robert Contreras. He treated me with respect and was extremely helpful in explaining every process of my repairs from start to finish. I would like to thank Ronald Sumption our salesman who went out of his way to make my buying experience smooth and effortless. Ronald took time to answer all of my questions and got right to the point, even went as far as offering his text number after hours. Since I lived 400+ miles from the dealership, Ronald had all of my paperwork ready the moment I walked in the door at the dealership. Ronald was courteous, professional and worked out a great deal on my new 2016 F250. The truck looked amazing when My wife and I pulled up. i called about a used truck i had seen on the internet. i specifically asked if it was a non smoker truck and was told yes. today after the truck sat in the sun all morning with the windows up i went out to leave for the day. when i opened the door the first thing i noticed was the horrible odor of tobacco smoke, i was lied to intentional or otherwise.i have had this truck (1) day.other than that it is a great truck and exactly what i had been searching for.the salesman, charles lawrence, was very nice and fair to deal with. i would recommend him to a friend.

For the first time in my 52 years, I can finally say that I had a pleasant experience!!!! James was our salesman and he was fabulous, he wasn't pushy and was very friendly and down to earth. He looked at everything from my perspective as though he was purchasing the truck for himself. He made sure that the used truck I bought had prior maintenance and in perfect shape before he allowed me to take it off the lot. James even threw in a tank of gas and 6 free oil changes. That is very impressive; however, I would say what impressed me the most about James is that after he saw my concern for rubber floor mats, he actually ordered them and paid for them out of his own pocket. I have never had that happen and will definitely come to Tindol Ford for my next car buying experience. James Slaga is definitely an asset to this company and goes above and beyond to make you feel like family!!!! I was out looking at Mustangs and I came across Tindol Ford. When I pulled into the parking lot I saw the largest collection of Roush Mustangs I have ever seen at a dealership. It didn't take long for an employee to approach me to offer help. When I said I was interested in purchasing a Roush Mustang the employee called the Roush expert over to help me find the Roush I was looking for. The Roush expert, Jody, knew everything about the Roush Mustangs on the lot and I could tell that he was a man that loves Mustangs and loves his job. Jody told me about the differences between the different stages of Roush's that were available and he helped me learn about why Roush's are so special. It didn't take long for Jody to find me the Roush Mustang that I wanted. After test driving the car with Jody I knew that I was buying my first Roush Mustang that day. After Jody sealed the deal, Lyle stepped in to help get everything finalized. Lyle was another Roush expert that loves Roush Mustangs and loves his job. It didn't take Lyle long to get all the information together to make the Roush mine. Lyle and Jody also let me know about all the special events that Roush owners could enjoy. We found a car that we were interested in on the Internet, called ahead to be sure it was there and drove over 100 miles to go see it. We were greated by very friendly people eager to help us but were not pushy in any way which is rare at car dealerships. We ended up buying the car that night and several employees stayed over two hours past closing time to help us with the purchase. They met us half way to deliver the car to us the next day so we didn't have to drive so far again. I have dealt with Lyle now for a few years. Being from upstate New York, personal interactions with Lyle are difficult and seldom, but always very enjoyable. 2 1/2 years ago I added some hood strut supports on my 2010 427R, and almost purchased a newer Roush then. I visited again this past week and upgraded from the 427R to the Stage 3 Roush. Lyle Sturgis and Jody Sexton are extremely knowledgeable in these cars and provided a truly family environment during the whole process. I truly will ot purchase another Mustang from another dealership, even if this means traveling from New York to North Carolina.

I have very often been given a run around everytime I deal with this dealership. I was told by my salesman that an appointment was made for an oil change for my car, however upon arriving and checking in I was told there was no appointment made for me. I was frustrated because it is a 45 minute drive to Gastonia for me, so I left work a little early to get there on time. I was basically told to come back the next day and that there was nothing they could do for me, regardless of the fact that they were in the wrong. As I was walking out of the door, I was flagged down by a nice man who's name is Robert Campbell. He noticed how bad of customer service I was given and told me that he could change my oil for me(even though he was busy). I was so relieved and happy to know that I was able to be helped. I wanted to take the time to write this review because although I have not been given very good customer service thus far, he has made me feel better about Tindol Ford. Mr. Campbell definitely stands out and reassures you that you will get great service. I would strongly recommend and trust him with your car. He is very friendly and welcomes you with a smile! The sales team at Tindol Ford is without a doubt the best team I have ever dealt with. I have purchased several new cars in my adult years and have even sold new cars before so I was familiar with the sales pitches that most places give. The difference is, the dealership and more specifically Lyle Sturgis and Tito Alavardo take this very seriously and perform above expectations. I came in off an internet submission for a Stage 3 Roush with very specific features and Tindol had the car that met each requirement I had. When I arrived the sales staff had the car on display and labeled. I felt valued at that point because never in my car buying experiences has that been the case. At which point, I was greeted by a salesman who took me to Tito. Tito was the salesman everyone hopes to get especially when buying a high performance car. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and passionate as well. He gave a great walk around answering all questions I had. At this point Lyle introduced himself and there I found another passionate individual who loves the Mustang and Roush performance. I felt like I was among friends and not salesmen, which is hard for me to say since I generally avoid car salesmen. After returning from our lengthy test drive, Tito took the time to ask me about my likes and dislikes regarding the vehicle. Something else no one has ever done. I informed him that I was very interested in the car but needed to ensure the numbers checked out. Tito, Lyle and I sat down to discuss numbers on the vehicle and they didn't play the BS game that dealerships do trying to con you out of money and screw you. They came straight out with a very generous offer on a truly amazing vehicle. At this point, I was sure this was a dream. I was ready for them to offer me a rip-off deal and was more than surprised at what was presented. As I said, I used to sell Chevy new car and am aware of the game that most dealerships play with their prospective customers. But not Tindol Ford. The deal was amazing. Once I informed them of a trade and my military background, the price dropped even more. Needless to say they exceeded what I thought was a good/fair deal and made it one I couldn't refuse. On Saturday, December 12, I will be the proud owner of the "Superman" Roush Stage 3 Mustang complete with the Track Pack and 50th Anniversary edition wheels; and I owe it to the service provided by Lyle and Tito. They really do make you feel like more than just a car buyer. They also went out of their way to surprise my children who have been watching me look at these cars (Shelby Mustangs) for years. Lyle and Tito convinced through showing the car that Roush was the way to go and I agree. If you want performance, you need a Stage 3! This is the best experience I've ever had buying a car and will definitely be returning in the future to purchase from them when my kids are driving age in a few years. Thank you Tito and Lyle for making this a truly pleasurable experience.

I had about Roush mustangs before and had no intention to purchase one the same day I went to Tondol to browse at the 2015 Roush mustangs. But after my test drive with Jody Sexton and Lyle Sturgis my mind was made up and I drove home a new 2015 Roush race red R2 specialBuild mustang. I have many cars over my 51 years but the experience at Tindol Ford was the mist awesome by far, you leave there feeling like family and actually I have become family cause I bug Jody and Lyle all the time about upgrades to my Roush If you are going to buy a car there is no better experience than Tindol Ford I'm looking forward to purchasing my 16 year old daughter her first car at Tindol Ford to show her what real car dealerships should be like, family!!!!

Drove 10 hours 1 way to purchase a vehicle. There were several small issues with the vehicle that were not disclosed in any communications with sales people before making the trip. Things I feel a good salesperson would of pointed out to a client coming from that distance, especially when asking premium price for said vehicle. Though most of these things are minor all them were considered "Normal Wear" according to the sales team so they did not disclose them. After the deal I also received what I feel is un-professional comments back in an email. It is also now 40 days since purchase and I have yet to receive the needed paperwork to get the vehicle I purchased plated. So because of the slow title service, and mediocre customer service I cannot say I will be back to Tindol Ford from my location. If your only an hour or two away maybe worth a visit but any more then that I would find something local if possible. The dealings I had on this deal that involved the Roush side of the dealership (Jody Sexton) were great, and if you are after a Roush Specific vehicle you will most likely be treated well at Tindol..., but given the way this deal progressed I will not be back to Tindol as it is not worth the risk for the amount of travel involved for myself.

I brought my 2015 Legacy (which I LOVE!) in for its maiden servicing (6k miles). I had made my appointment on line -- very easy. The salesman, Chris, who had sold me the car was there and we had a pleasant chat. The receptionist at the service center was expecting me and greeted me graciously & warmly by name. She explained everything they would be doing in the routine service and asked if I wanted to have my tires rotated ($15) which I thought was an excellent idea and would not have otherwise thought about.The service area was comfortable, the coffee was good, free snacks were available (wasn't hungry but nice to know they were there) and I was just finishing my coffee and enjoying the NY Times when I was informed that my car was ready.Now THAT is the way a car (and its owner) should be treated! Well done, Tindol Subaru. Thank you for a pleasant experience.

Tindol Ford had a PT Cruiser and we needed a second car so we dropped by to see it, Maurice Wilder, salesman, got us the key and we looked it over. I called back later and told Wilder I thought the car was too much and if they reduced it to contact me. Next day, Wilder's manager, Eddie Pittman, called and presented a price we could live with. These two gentlemen were professional and respectful and a credit to the industry. It was a hassle free transaction and I wholeheartedly recommend this dealership.

The General Manager stopped over while I was in the waiting room with a frindly greeting and make sure that there were no issues with my visit. We found Tindol Ford to be a large, clean, no pressure dealership, good inventory, salesman that LISTENED, and we would highly recommend that anyone looking for a vehicle - START at TINDOL - save yourself the frustration you'll get somewhere else! The only similar experience I've ever had was at the "Happiest Place on earth" Disneyland. Okay so your reading this and saying "at a car dealership?!" YES! Tindol Ford is class act! Professinal! Clean! No salty salesman! The inside is fun! Great kids play room! That was actually clean! Refreshments! Food! Big screen LED TVs! Everyone treated you with the upmost respect, and you weren't greeted with a salty salesman pitch. All seriousness, from the staff too the cleanliness and the education of the vehicles the staff had, it most reminded me of a experience you would have at Disneyland, your happy the whole time your there! From beginning to end! Mike Brown in sales is the man! He treats you like family, going in there with two kids normally is tough, but with a fun entertaining environment kept the kids happy. Mike is stand down the best salesman and I feel like I don't even want to call him a salesman because he doesn't match the typical "salesman" he is more like a good family friend helping you through the buying process. Julie Petree and Mike Brown worked together as a awesome team! They pulled a true miracle! From getting me out of a upside down loan with my truck and getting me in a Brand New Ford Edge! Julie had been putting numbers together and getting things all ready for me all morning before I got there at noon, they had everything ready to start making things official! I appreciate the miracle that Mike, Julie and the Tindol Ford team did for my family and I! We're very excited about our new 2015 Ford Edge! Thanks for bringing us aboard the Ford Family! I had contacted the dealership about a truck I was interested in. Julie Petree responded and we scheduled a time and date to test drive the truck along with having my existing truck evaluated for a trade. I drove 45 minutes from Concord NC only to find out the truck had been sold. No call or contact as a simple courtesy. I am disappointed that I did not get to look at the vehicle but more upset that a simple courtesy call was not made. Definitely not a way to conduct business.

I contacted Tindol Ford on a Wednesday evening via email to inquire about a VW they had for sale there. Tito, one of the salesmen, emailed me back with more detailed info about the car that same evening. I was particularly appreciative of him taking a moment to send me that and make contact as I had another dealership that was supposed to be in touch throughout that day, who had already run a hard inquiry on my credit, and I hadn't heard a word out of them since early that day. I'm 3 weeks away from having our first baby, so time was of the essence in getting an SUV to replace my hatchback. All day Thursday, Tito kept in touch with me to get the financing process started, completed and I put a down payment on the car over the phone, as I trusted he was answering all of my questions with honest information on the car. By Friday afternoon, the new car was sitting in my driveway. Everyone I dealt with at the dealership, Tito, Susan and Julie, were all super nice, quick and helpful. I was there from start to finish, which included looking over the car and test driving it to completion of the finance paperwork and getting all my personal belongings transferred into the car and the temp. tags put on (which Tito nicely did all of that for me), for a little over 2 hours. I've purchased 6 cars over the years and this was the quickest, easiest and most helpful dealership I've ever dealt with.

I would recommend Tyndol to anyone wishing to buy a Ford. I wish I could afford to buy one of their Roush Mustangs. Anyway, I like their online advertising about pricing and their rock bottom price. I have purchased many vehicles over the past 40 years but this was the most pleasant vehicle purchase I have every experienced. I had been pricing 2015 F150's for a couple of weeks and had my credit union car buying service assisting me with locating a truck with the options and within the price range that I was looking for. The credit union found me a truck with the options I was wanting but the price was still higher than what I was wanting to pay. I saw a vehicle advertised at Tindol Ford on the internet and called, spoke with Paul Poston, to inquiry about it. Paul called me back and stated that they still had the truck on the lot so I made an appointment to go check it out. I arrived a bit early for my appointment however the truck was sitting outside the door waiting for me to arrive and take a test drive. Paul was busy with another customer so he got Susan to assist me. They both were very friendly and welcoming with no high pressure sales pitch. I was given the keys to the truck so I took it for a test drive with my wife. The truck was exactly what I was looking for down to the color combination. Of course I was dreading the next step of haggling over price. When I sat down with Susan I just asked her to give me the out the door price for the truck. As usual time transpired and soon the sales manager came over and introduced himself. Here we go, the old sales manager pitch. To my surprise no high pressure sales pitch. Just a we want a satisfied customer pitch. While waiting for them to come back with a price everyone was very hospitable and attended to my wife and I. Finally they return with the price. I was shocked! It was below what I was expecting and even below the price I was wanting to pay for the truck. No haggling required!!!. I decided to take the truck and the rest was history. Even the experience spent with the finance department with Mike Corbett was a pleasure. Was in and out the door with a new truck within a couple of hours. Not the typical car buying experience. My wife and I both thought we were in a dream.

Was given an excellent price for a 2015 Ford F150. We drove from S.C. Left really early in the morning. We spoke with staff twice , as we needed directions. Not once did they tell us the car has been sold the day before. This we learned upon arrival. The car we looked at looked like the one we asked for. F150...4X4 XLT. Susan Howard sent us pictures. and price. The price difference was $5,000.00 more than what was quoted. We loss time and gas We could have stayed in Greenville S. C. Don't go there unless U live near and have time to waste.

With all the available consumer tools buying the right car at a fair price has never been easier. We were looking for a used RAV4 in the latest model redesign and found one at Tindol's. The price was fair, the car was in excellent condition and most importantly it was within the budget we had to spend on a cash purchase. Due to some competing demands at Tindol's we worked with two salesman Patrick and Anthony. They helped us answering all our questions and even with some hand offs never missed a beat. I would highly recommend both of them if you are in the market for a car. After seeing the car and taking a few days to decide on the purchase we moved forward. Because of the distance to travel to Gastonia from south Charlotte we worked with Patrick remotely to negotiate the purchase price including a trade in and scheduled delivery on the weekend. The advance terms of the deal were honored without any surprises. The only disappointment was the amount of time it took to process the paper work. We got hung up in a backlog of sorts and with only one person processing paper work the final paperwork took well over 3+ hours. In this day and age of internet transactions, legally binding electronic signatures, it's unfortunate this paper shuffle wasn't done in advance. An area for improvement for sure! Nonetheless I would still highly recommend the dealership and especially working with Patrick and Anthony.

Overall my experience with Tindol was fair. Haggling over the purchase price is never fun. I was first asked to pay the full purchase price and then it was maybe we can take $200 off...really??I also think the $599 admin fee is outrageous. I could do the title work, etc. far cheaper myself.Next, when I got the car home I found an oily substance all over the engine parts and underside of the hood which I had to wipe off. It's not necessary to do that. Next, I found the oil to be way over filled. I had to crawl under the car and let oil out of the drain plug 5 or 6 times until it came down to the full mark on the dipstick.Lastly, the pink coolant in the bottle is below the low line and now I have to spend $26 on a gallon of the stuff just to bring the level up to normal.Oh and my wife was told the seats would be steam cleaned and they weren't.Thanks.

I saw a vehicle of theirs on autotrader.com where they have it listed.the Asking price on the vehicle was $9294.Right under that price on the website it clearly states '$500 above book"I called to buy the vehicle and have it off their property by tomorrow afternoon.After being stalled repeatedly via text message and me having to wait 20 minutes for a reply from Julie she tells me on the phone later that ''i had real customers here in the store in front of me and i got to you when i could in between"She didnt think there was anything wrong with that but to me it was tacky,classless and unprofessional.She then tried to tell me that kbb and autotrader.com information is pretty much worthless that they ignore it. She was willing however to replace 1 missing and 1 cracked hubcap after taking approx 2 hrs of my time.She also hysterically told me 'there were things more important that my car purchase etc etc before i hung up on her.She then called me back again and acted like she couldnt understand why i was so mad and that she is so much the not rude person she was with me and so on.This was a disgraceful way of doing business in my viewpoint.

Usually when purchasing a used car it can easily go in a negative direction. I recently was in the market but didn't want to buy a new car, I found a vehicle they had via cars.com to express interest. Of all of the dealers I contacted they were the first to contact me back. I went for a test drive but had expressed to the representative what I was looking for and the budget. Upon arrival she had already researched the inventory and found a few others I might be more interested in. I ended up purchasing one of the others. They did.a great job not trying upsell me to another car, they were patient with me as I took a few days to decide and research. Every interaction was very friendly. Great experience, very transparent and did not avoid questions or dance around vehicle issues. I look forward to doing business with them again.

I worked with Anthony to buy a used Civic; because I was coming from a bit of a distance, he really worked with me over the phone to try and figure out the best deal we could get without a lot of going back and forth and haggling. When I went in to the dealership, I did about 3 test drives - they even had one of the mechanics ride with me because I was worried the car was shifting a little hard and the power train warranty was almost up! The only *very minor* complaint I had was that I was there all day because the shop was a bit backed up when I had decided to purchase the car. While I was waiting, every employee that walked by made sure that I was taken care of and that I didn't need anything. Because of the long wait, I was offered coupons to a local restaurant. They didn't have the wiper blades I needed, so they shipped them to my house because I couldn't make it back to the dealership. Anthony made sure my Bluetooth was set up and working before I left at 8 pm that night. I have never felt good driving a car off the lot - EXCEPT this time! Amazing service!

When our van broke down I knew who I was calling. Patrick Lubin at Ford in gastonia is a wonderful salesman. This is actually the second car he has sold me. I originally met him at a different dealership and he was so helpful then. I sent him a message and he stated working on it right then. Yes texting me pictures as I'm stuck on the side of the road. I finally get home and we go online and find what we want and I text him what we are looking at. We do the basic credit information online and he drives an hour to pick us up. They had already had us pre approved and so we were there a short time before driving off with our new car. If you need a car go there and see Patrick. Have always bought Ford cars and trucks for everyday type vehicles as I believe they are the best on the market. I have always bought GM when it came to Muscle Cars and after looking around for 6 weeks I found Tindol to have the best deal on a 2010 Camaro SS with only 14,000 miles and $2,500 below KBB value. Brian Tims was the salesperson assigned and he did a solid job, but I'm shocked how Tindol doesn't fill the gas tank up like they use to. Overall I am pleased. Some of the other employees walking around need to be a little more friendly not that it bothers me, but it might others.

My wife and I met Mike Brown on one of the coldest most raw days of the winter. It was near closing time but Mike didn't hesitate to come out into the lot to greet us. We drove an explorer and a flex. I had a newer truck to sell so it took a little longer. 3 weeks ago, I came back to Tindol and bought a new Explorer Sport. Once again Mike Brown was my salesperson. It was an easy transaction. I feel like I've known Mike all my life and made a good friend. No salesperson b.s. Then he introduced me to Natalie and you won't find a nicer, down to earth, concerned owner in the business. Plus, I love my car. Tindol Ford sales team did a great job getting me into a new 2015 Ford Explorer. Dylan O'Donahue worked hard to get me the deal I needed and wanted to purchase my new vehicle. Eddie Pittman handled making sure the numbers were right and that I was completely satisfied. The only hitch in the whole event was when I met the business manager to sign the paperwork. He used hard sell tactics on the extended warranties, gap insurance, etc. which completely left a bad taste for me. I found a vehicle I wanted on line and started negotiating on line since this Dealership is an hour away from my home. It was a pleasant experience and they were genuinely working with me. The ladies in the Internet Sales department sent me everything I needed via email and all I needed to do was go see it. I decided to drive up and test drive the truck I wanted. They had it up front waiting for me when I arrived so I got a good, walk around look at it and no one hassled me as I walked around it. All I had to do way raise me hand and a salesperson would immediately come to help. I had an appointment so I went inside to see Paul Poston and he had they key and was ready to roll. He knew a lot about the vehicle so we were off to a good start. The evaluation phase of my trade-in was quick and simple and both Paul and the Manager worked with me to get the numbers right. I decided to purchase the truck and Mike Corbett worked up all the paperwork without delay. I've bought many vehicles over the years (I'm almost 60) and this was by-far the best experience with a Dealership I've ever had. I will go back when my wife's car is ready to be replaced. Thanks to all the folks that helped me.

I found the exact build of Explorer I wanted via internet at Tindol Ford. I phoned for more information, and Ron answered. He was very polite throughout the whole process. The dealership did make a rather large mistake in estimating my trade value (more than $4k over what they really were able to offer). Ron again was polite and apologetic. I figured they'd be willing to give me a better deal for the mistake....they didn't. Also, I live 350 miles from the dealership, so the new vehicle was delivered to me by Ron on his DAY OFF. Very nice of him to do! However, I was asked to fill the tank on my trade and receive the new vehicle without a full tank of gas (which they later mailed me a refund for). Overall, happy with the vehicle and process; but some bumps throughout the process that could have and should have been avoided kept me from giving 5 stars.

On April 8, 2015, my granddaughter was driving with me and my grandson home from their schools. We were in my 2012 Honda CivicLX. About a quarter of a mile from my house, we were T-Boned. Both side air bags deployed on the driver's side. I have no doubt that God and these air bags saved our lives. I loved my little car. I began the journey looking for another car. My son got on the internet looking for a replacement car. I dealt with 2 local dealers. I was so disappointed in the customer service I received from a local Honda Dealer. It was like they were doing me a favor in selling me a car. I was repeatedly ill treated. I got the website from my son and began looking for myself online.. I was lead to Tindol Ford and the very best salesman in the world, Maurice Wilder. I talked to Wilder (as he perfers to be called) on many occasions. In dealing with insurance, GAP insurance, I was just getting overwhelmed. Wilder would call and I avoided his calls because I was at the end of my rope with everything. Wilder's calls never bothered me. He was extremely professional and even called just to see how I was. AMAZING!!! One day, I took Wilder's call and talked to him about everything and I mean everything that was going on. Wilder continued with every call to encourage me. I told him I was ready to jump off a cliff (only kidding). I broke down on the phone and was a bit embarrassed. Wilder said, "Ms Grogan, the good Lord doesn't put more on us than we can bear". I was so encouraged by his professionalism, encouragement and determination to find that "Right" car for me. On my way to the doctor, last Thursday, April 14th, I received a call from Wilder. He said, "Ms Grogan, we have you approved for a car. I think you are going to like it". I said, "Are you serious?". He said yes and asked when I could come to sit down and talk to him. I told him I'd be there as soon as I finished with the doctor. I drove to Gastonia, NC and passed "The Motor Mile" in Greenville, SC. I arrived at Tindol Ford where Wilder was sitting outside waiting for me. We walked into the Dealership and chatted for a few mins. He took me outside to see the car. The car was a 2012 Honda CivixLX, very same color of my totalled car, 10,000 miles less than the previous one, extra features, extremely clean and looked brand new!! I cried! Wilder is a special kind of salesperson. He is an ex-Marine, loves his job, his country and people. I can not describe in words the respect Wilder deserves. I will never forget him and know I have not only a salesman but a life time friend! I know Wilder will exceed his on expectations in life. I even think one day he will be the General Manager at Tindol Ford. Everyone there treated me like I was the best thing since sliced bread. I left there with a light and happy heart, burdens lifted, a Clemson Poster with this coming years schedule (thank you so much Eddie Pittman Gooo Tigers!) new friends made and my new car that I now call "Grace". Thank you to all the great folks at Tindol Ford for making everything happen for me, making me feel very special and for the new found friendships! I will never forget my excellent experience at Tindol Ford and would recommend Tindol Ford to anyone and everyone looking to buy a new or used car. Good morning!I couldn't have asked for a better experience buying my very first Ford! I finally listened to Dad, "buy American! Period!" I had no idea the level of professionalization, customer services, and fun I would enjoy when I walked in. Not once did I feel pressured and I certainly didn't feel like I was being taken advantage of at all! Special thank you to Mo and Mike. Mo was amazing...he was engaged, helpful, patient and wasn't going to rush me...no pressure. But, he knew I wanted to move process along because my time was limited. He turned a , normally ardurous process in to a smoothe, efficient and no non-sense process. I couldn't believe it! He had a professional version of a sense-of-urgency - which made me feel listened-to. I simply wanted my Ford and I needed it to get done asap! He was on board! So great! Mike is a professional, sharp, SWEET guy. Let me say, when you are committing to pay a good sum of money for a long 5 years...I need someone to be sweet to me, keeping me calm, easing the pain pf spending so much $! Oh, and the efficiency holds true throughout the dealership since Mike was on top of my paperwork. He was ready for me to do my part and get me on my way feeling happy and proud of my new purchase...Mike's got this down and not once did I feel he was being insincere. First off, my husband and I have been to several dealerships over the last few years and each time it's the same thing: pushing you into buying a car. Tindol Ford isn't like that. Our salesman, Mike Brown is the 'Man of the Year' as he has made my husband physically relax going into the dealership whether it's for service or if it's to look at a car/truck. Over the last year, my husband and I have bought 3 vehicles from Mike. We came in last week for a simple oil change with the F250 we had and decided to talk to Mike about the new 2015 mustangs. To make a long story short, we ended up walking out of the dealership with two NEW 2015 vehicles (Explorer and Mustang GT). To give a little back ground why making my husband "relax" is so astonishing, my husband is medically retired from the Marine Corps and has brain injuries and PTSD (from mortars rounds hitting him). He DOESN'T relax whatsoever anywhere. Mike has made my husband feel 'safe and secure' where he is at. Mike's personality and salesmanship is just out the roof. It's like talking to an old friend when those two talk, and when I say 'I'm shocked" I honestly mean it. I can not tell you how thankful I am that we have had the honor to work with Mike Brown and to see a glimpse of my husband come out when we are out of the house. Tindol Ford isn't just a dealership that wants your money and then boot you out the door. They truly work to find you the right car or truck you are looking for WITH the price you are looking for. We walked out of Tindol Ford last week with two new cars and LOWER payments than our previous vehicles thanks to Mike Brown and Mike Corbet in Finance. Mike (finance) worked every number he could to make sure I was happy with the price and payment. He understood that my husband doesn't understand everything that you and I do. So, what did he do? He broke everything down for my husband, David. Broke it down to make sure David understood and that David was happy. I haven't saw my husband smile talking about trading cars like he does when we work with Tindol Ford. If you take anything out of this 'essay', please take this last statement to heart: If you want to work two people, with whom truly care about helping you and not hindering you, please seek out Mike Brown and make sure to request Mike in Finance to do the paperwork. Due to distance and work schedule I did big part of the process through email/phone. Mr. Patrick Lubin was extremely diligent answering all my questions and providing precise and concise information. From the beginning they quoted as they meant to beat any other offer, one of the best prices in the Charlotte, Greenville and Atlanta area. At some point Mr. Robbie Cagle got involve to clarify some information and the professionalism and honesty of these two gentlemen was what made me decide to make business with them. The day after we agreed on price and conditions I went to the dealer to be received by Mr. Lubin like he knew me from years, everyone is very friendly on the dealer. My car was clean and ready to be inspected and tested, closing of the sale went flawless, were even invited to have lunch with the guys that were making a grilled lunch on the back of the dealer. Tidol has the biggest Ford inventory I saw during this purchasing process (sorry, didn't paid attention to the Subaru side), no other place had such variety of Mustang models and colors, this will make it more likely to find any model/color you want. I definitely recommend you to contact Mr. Patrick Lubin and visit this dealer if you plan to buy a Ford or Subaru. The only downside is the inconvenient conditions for a proper test drive as the immediate road gets very busy, exactly what you don't want when testing a muscle car, but convenient accesses to the I-85 provides for a proper test.

They did everything they could to get us into a new car with payments we can live with. There was no back & forth with this and that. I have been to every other dealer in Charlotte, NC, and some in Pennsylvania. Everyone told me that there was no way to get me into a new car by myself. My credit score was too low. My income was too unique. The negative equity in my old car made it impossible to get a loan. When I walked into Tindol Ford, I was ready to hear another no. But instead they said, "let me try" AND TRY THEY DID!! Patrick and Robbie bounced around from this car to that car, different price points, different banks, trying EVERYTHING they could think of to get a "Yes". Three days later, they did just that. Yes, after them tirelessly working for me for three days, last night I got to drive home in a 2013 Ford Focus thanks to Patrick and Robbie. Not only did they get a yes on the car I wanted, there were a couple of cars i could choose from! This was a completely different buying experience than i've ever had or seen. Robbie's willingness to sit down with you, learn your story, see where you are and where you're going and then to take that information to the banks- you become a person, not just a name or a number. Patrick made himself available to me 24/7 throughout the process. He answered all of my dumb questions, kept me abreast of any changes in car or loan status, he even called me while he was at home to update me, and answered my texts at 10 pm! As long as I am in North Carolina, I am going to go back to Tindol for EVERY car i purchase. Honestly, if this dealership can help me get a new car, they can help anyone!

I bought my first car here, expecting it to turn out as a great investment considering I would be buying it from a reputable dealership. It turned into a nightmare very quickly, after test driving the car I noticed that the steering was making an awful noise. I expressed my concerns to my salesman, Patrick Lubin who ensured it would be fixed. Shortly after I received a phone call from Robbie Cagle stating that he was not sure if the dealership would cover the cost of the repair because it was a used car. I then took the car to AAA to get it checked out and see what the real problem was so that I knew what I was getting into. They told me that it was the Steering axle as well as the strut and companion. They told me it was going to cost over $1,000 to fix it. I then brought this information back to the dealership and told them I would not buy the car unless this issue was fixed. AAA deemed the car not safe to drive and should not have passed the inspection Tindol Ford just passed it with, not ever stating any steering issues. This should have been my first red flag. However, I loved the car and wanted to make it work. Robbie was not thrilled that I called him and expressed that I got the car checked out and tried to argue with me over the phone. He was very rude and I could not believe that he was acting in the manner he was. He mocked me, asking me if I was a mechanic and telling me that the issue would not be fixed under the dealerships dollar.I got my father in law involved, who called Robbie and got him to somewhat cooperate, although he was very disappointed in the amount of professionalism he showed. My father in law was going to buy a Ford from Tindol and even joked that he wanted to trade in his brand new Ford F150 just so that he could buy one from Tindol. His mind is now changed and does not ever want to do business with Tindol again. He told Robbie that they illegally passed the car for inspection and that if nothing was done then he would turn them into the DMV.This must have scared Robbie because he then told my father in law that everything would be taken care of. I brought the car in the next day and it was there for a couple of days before I got it back. When I got it back I took it back to AAA where they told me that the repair was done soppily. I then contacted the dealership (once again). They said to bring it in and they would look at it. I brought it in and they took it back and worked on it again.The following week I got in my car to head to work and I could not even turn the steering wheel. I then brought the car back AGAIN..they said they would take care of it this time, sending me to the Subaru side because the "ford side was too busy..(and rude i might add). Got the car back again and then the steering messed up once more before I took it in again and they nicely fixed it.All in all, I would not suggest Tindol Ford because I think that the customer should come first. I also feel that upon buying a car from a dealership that is "reputable" you should not have to be worried about the quality of car you are buying. I also did not appreciate driving 45 minutes-1 hour to the dealership each time that something went wrong. After a couple issues my salesman disappeared, leaving me to fend for myself. I was promised to receive a few things with the car, 2 of which I still have not seen. The one I received after pestering the dealership. I had the car a total of 4 days out of the month that I was paying for it.I am very displeased with my experience and I hope you guys will save yourself the headache and just buy from another dealership, one that prides customer satisfaction and quality of work. After all, a car is not a cheap investment.

I had a fantastic experience at Tindol. I did all my research online and started the process with Tindol's online sales team. Having previously purchased two lexuses this way I had prior experience that gave me a basis of comparison. Brian and Robbie made the entire experience seamless. Aside from the test drive, I wouldn't have had to step inside the dealership at all. No wasted time sitting at a dealership all day while a salesperson keeps you on ice as he "talks with his manager". The entire sales experience related to me wife Explorer Sport coupled with the most competitive pricing in the Carolinas resulted in a simultaneous purchase of an F150 for myself. I'm hoping their post sale service is on par. Their competitor in Charlotte lost our business for life as a result of their constant unnecessary upsells whenever I took my prior vehicles in for scheduled maintenance. They may have garnered a profit on some extra spark plugs and coolant flushes but they'll never again see me in their showroom. Hoping My experience with Tindol going forward resemble the amazing Tindol sales expeience I witnessed!

We had rearched the internet looking for a 2014 Subaru Forrester and found a great priced 2014 Subaru Forrester at Tindol Ford Subaru. My husband and I were excited about the price but we were hesitant to inquire about the 2014 Subaru Forrester because we live in Charleston Sc and were not sure were wanted to travel 3 hours one way for a car with an infant. We quickly found there was no other 2014 Subaru Forrester we saw that we liked so we called and inquired about the car. Our first point was contact was Patrick Lobin in the internet sales department. I explained to Patrick what our needs were and what we could afford. Over a 24 hour period we put together a deal that worked for everyone! The sales manager, Julie Petree, offered to deliver the car to us, Free of Charge, so we did not have to take our infant so on a long trip during this busy the holiday season! Purchased a New 2014 F150. I took the truck back and the issue below was addressed by the service department.It was fixed and I'm very pleased with the purchase and fixed provided!The staff was good and the truck is very nice, I like it a lot. However, there was and still is a noticeable vibration at speed (55-75mph). I was told it would be fixed prior to pick up. I do believe it was looked at and that some adjustments were made. However, for a Brand NEW Vehicle I would expect Much Less vibration at these speeds. I plan to put a few more miles on the truck to see if it works itself out. If it doesn't, I plan to bring it back and hopefully the service department can address and remedy. All said and done... The process and purchase was a good experience.

Surprisingly Doren Moore helped make a situation that I was dreading a pleasurable experience. I took vacation the week of October 6th because I knew that after 6 years it was time for me to purchase another vehicle. I had a car that my daughter drives being repaired at Tindol Ford and after shopping around at some other local dealerships we decided to stop in and see how the repair was progressing. My plan was to buy a nice pre-owned vehicle and I was not expecting to purchase it at Tindol Ford until I met Doren. I had never heard anything negative about Tindol but I was planning to buy another Chevrolet. Doren exceeded my expectations on all levels and he displayed all the prerequisite skills needed to be one of the best in the business. What a pleasure buying a new car. I drove onto the lot one evening just looking at the Fiesta and Wilder came up and we started talking about the car and I told him I was just looking at the moment; there was no pressure just a lot of advice and details about the car. On my second trip to look at my car Wilder asked me about other cars I had looked at and then he told me how much better my Fiesta would be and told me to test drive it. I told him once again I was just looking. On the third trip back I bought my Fiesta and I have loved driving this hot little car ever since. It is super on gas; the drive is great and it really fits my lifestyle. What a great experience of buying my new Fiesta. Keep up the good work!!!

Doren was very personable, friendly and above all wanted to make sure we found the truck we wanted. We do not like high pressure sales and it was refreshing to deal with someone that really put our interest above his. I did most of my research and shopping online. I narrowed down my choices by phone as well as doing price negotiations. My time at the dealership was spent largely on test driving, signing papers and being thanked. The staff at Tidol Ford was respectful and appropriate, considerate of my schedule and committed to making a fair deal. Cliff Matthews in internet sales was excellent. I would certainly choose to do business here again.

I say "had" to buy a car, because it is not something I chose to do voluntarily, willingly or cheerfully. I really hate the entire process and am fairly cynical about it. But I called Tindol because of a truck I saw on their web site and the sales person (Chuck Baumohl!!) was a great help. Although I ended up not buying that particular truck, I found a new 2014 Ford F-150 that was fantastic.! Almost all the pre-qual and paper work was done on-line the next day and when I went back the following day, all I had to do was sign papers. I was treated as a VIP and felt very special. It was painless! And I'm SO happy with my new truck - friends can't believe that I parked my classic luxury Jaguar and am now driving a Tindol Truck - heck yeah!

Being from out of state, Chuck Baumohl...made our experience very easy and quick. He was very personable and very thorough in showing our employee the vehicle ahead of time. Chuck then corresponded with us over email and sent us all the information we needed to make our decision , so we could arrange everything ahead of time, making it so that after we landed at the airport we were able to come to the dealership, and with Jaime Hull's help we were able to close the deal and within an hr. our employee was able to drive our new Ford Transit off the lot !! After a previous bad experience with a different dealership a year ago , WOW !!! ... What a great experience we had here! :) We gladly and highly recommend Tindol Ford, and Chuck Baumohl and Jaime Hull too! ....they did a great job!! We will be back! THANK YOU!!!

Went to buy a new car. Visited several dealers but ultimately bought my car at tindol. They made the experience a fantastic one. I have a very high energy 2yr old and to try and keep her entertained by myself for several hours while buying a car can be very difficult. But our sales rep Ludger and the Finance manager Jamie not only made the car buying experience easy but the also helped entertain my daughter. At one point Jamie even played ball with my daughter so I could do paperwork. The owner even came out and asked how my visit was going. Over all this was the best experience I have ever had while buying a car and would recommend to anyone to visit tindol if they are looking for a new car.

From the moment I called and spoke with Patrick Lubin, it was clear this was no ordinary auto dealership. While I had to drive 51 minutes to get there from Indian Trail, NC, it was well worth the extra effort. Kindness, respect, knowledge, understanding, consideration, sensitivity - all these were present in both the test drive and the "inside" experience. Professionalism is an understatement. Patrick knew the vehicle, was prepare to answer questions and did all with joy and kindness. This was a huge decision for me personally. He made it calm and peaceful; no pressure whatsoever. He cared. Then, when I went back the following day to pick up the vehicle and take care of the business portion, Jamie Hull was second to none in the administrative portion of the deal. He knew his stuff, was fully prepared and it seemed effortless to finalize the deal. Awesome experience.What really struck me was how happy and contented everyone seemed to be. It was unlike any auto dealership I'd ever seen. There is no doubt that I will go there for future auto purchases. They made a customer for life!

I purchased this car a couple months ago. It is a '07 GT/CS Mustang corvertible that has been fitted with a Roush supercharger with multiple other mods. I loved the car (and still do) but I was hesitant to buy it because the supercharger was not factory installed. So my one deciding factor for the purchase was that I needed a warranty. Once Phil and I agreed on a purchase/trade-in price, I dealt with Scott in finance to complete the deal. I again expressed to him that I needed a warranty and he whipped up what seemed like the best warranty you'd ever get on a 100K mileage used vehicle. 4 years/85 miles warranty on the car AND the supercharger. So I signed the papers and closed the deal. Before I got home, the check engine light came on and a check charging system light. I took it back the next day and left it overnight with Sam in service to fix the engine lights and do a couple minor fixes that were part of my closing deal (cosmetic). When I picked the car up all seemed well but again, before I got home both lights came back on. So the following day I took it back. It was the day before a long holiday weekend so Phil was nice enough to get me a nice (sports car) loaner for the weekend. The 2nd time I got the car back, all ran well. No more check engine or charging system lights. The door panels that they re-glued didn't stick so I ended up gluing them myself.It was probably my fault for not reading all the fine print of the warranty before closing the deal, but when I read through it I realized that it explicitly stated that anything added on after the car was manufactured is not covered under warranty. And any damage that results from modifications are not covered under warranty. So every mod to this car that increased the HP by nearly 200 HP had effectively voided the warranty before I bought it. Now, you be the judge. Why would Scott sell me a 4 year/85,000 mile on a 100K mile car? I firmly believe that he knew it was already voided and he just wanted to close the deal. Phil offered to let me "trade" in the car on another one and found a newer GT Mustang for a test drive. I'd already fell in love with the power of this car so I couldn't justify paying more money for a slower car. So I decided to keep the car without a warranty.This is when Eddie and Natalie got involved. They allowed me to cancel the warranty. I'm still waiting to see the credit towards my finance. Natalie gave me some vouchers for oil changes and tire rotations for the trouble.A little while later I noticed that the car would sputter when it was driven at 4,000 RPM's (I don't usually drive it that hard). I spoke to Lyle who is the Roush specialist (the car has a Roush supercharger). He put me in contact with the dealer who installed the supercharger. They later put me in touch with the original owner of the car (at his discretion) who sold me the tuner that was linked to this car. I reinstalled the custom tune and the car runs great again!Over the past several weeks I haven't had any issues with the car. I absolutely love it. I can't say that my initial purchase was the most pleasant but in the end I have a car that I love and everyone worked hard to see that I was satisfied with the purchase. Phil was super easy to work with. He made sure to follow up with me through the whole process. I'd recommend him to others buying a car. Lyle is knowledgeable about Roush and was super helpful in putting me in contact with the dealer who installed the supercharger. And thanks to Natalie for the additional service plan she gave me as compensation for the trouble.

We tried to buy a car from a dealership we had done business with for years, but, the dealership had recently been sold and the new owners were not at all helpful. I was totally insulted by the attitude of their sales staff. They made no effort to get us the car we wanted but kept trying to sell one they had on the lot. We went to Earl Tindol Ford in Gastonia where Lyle Sturgis is now working. We bought three cars from Lyle in the past at our old dealership and he always treated us with the utmost respect. Lyle works to give you the best options and the car you want. We love our new car and the way we were treated at Earl Tindol Ford.

Robin, normally in the Subaru department, went out of her way to help me into this great car and really made my first time buying experience actually enjoyable and my inexperience in buying a car was never taken advantage of. I got the payments I wanted at a great interest rate. I've known her about a week and she already feels like family. I have not yet visited the Tindol Ford dealership, and was very pleased that I did not have in order to make my purchase!! I live several miles away, and all that was necessary was to notify Cliff Matthews of my desire and my vehicle was delivered to my driveway!! I have purchased eight (8) other Fords, five of which were brand new from two other Ford dealerships, and NEVER received that kind of service. My financing and insurance were all handled without me leaving my house!! I was beyond impressed!!! Purchased a new Ford Expedition Limited and Tindol had the best price for the options and although it was a lot longer drive it was worth it. Not only was the price better but the sales experience was better as well and I like to negotiate. Gordon Haygood and the Sales Management team were easy to work with and talk too. They were straight up about what they could do as we negotiated the deal and they seemed to understand what I wanted and needed to do to get a good deal. I do a lot of research, validation and comparison shopping and Gordon was patient and provided the answers to my many questions over several weeks. Every antiques dealer needs a Transit Connect. I bought my first one in Alabama and knew I needed another one in July 2013. After much research, I contacted Tindol asking to be shown one that was listed on the web page. So, out of the blue, Gordon Haygood calls me and sets up an appointment. I was immediately impressed with the dealership and with Gordon's approach. There was no pressure, but Tindol definitely had the Transit I wanted. I planned to sell the old one to a friend, but off the cuff asked about a trade in. Within an hour, I bought a new Transit, traded in the old one, financed the balance and set a date for pickup. We all know that one should never purchase an expensive product especially a car sight unseen, however Phil Charcut-Sales Consultant at Tindol went the extra mile to make sure that the vehicle I purchased would exceed my expectations as the vehicle was carefully inspected in advance and arrived in Newton, MA (more than 900 miles away) more outstanding than its pictures portrayed. I was more than satisfied that I got a great deal from Tindol - I kept the vehicle in my heated garage this past Winter, starting it periodically & driving it around the block once a week until registering the car and putting it on the road late spring (nearly 6 months after purchase). On its first day out, a hot day, I put on the A/C and only warm air blew out. I brought the vehicle to our largest local Ford Dealer (in business 70 years +) and they claimed that the car needed an A/C Evac & new cooling fan module for $1800.00, just for starters, and other parts $$$$!$ at#%at%. A new compressor, also likely needed, would cost an additional $1574.00!! My wife was kind enough not to say anything about her damaged gift or her impulsive husband. I contacted Tom Chester, GM of Tindol Ford, having faith in their dealership but with a severally sunken feeling knowing that I was likely S.O.L. with an As-Is and broken expensive toy on day one! Tom Chester questioned the need for a new coolant fan as diagnosed by my Ford Dealer and saved me $1800 as Tindol Ford actually diagnosed the vehicles' real problem from 900 miles away without the car! The Roadster did not in fact need the cooling fan module my dealer determined was required, but rather a compressor which Tindol Ford agreed to pay for. *****My good fortune was in selecting Tindol Ford as my Dealer in the first place, when risking the purchase of a car sight unseen- There are very few businesses left in the world that would care enough, 6 months later as Tindol does, to spend significant time and money to solve their customer's problems with a reward that only effects their reputation. my wife and I met Eddie Pittman (sales MGR) on a Friday 4/19/14. we were at the dealership to start our initial home/foot work for the 2013/2014 fusions. Eddie greeted us as we were browsing the brochures for the different ford products. after discovering that all the new brochures were newly received and still in their boxes, Eddie devoted his full attention to our simple needs. upon finding and supplying us with what we requested he took interest in who we were and our future needs for ford products (wife's fusion and my future F-150). at this point he fully understood our current situation and extended his hopes in satisfying our EVERY NEED. the next day, after further footwork and test drives at competing dealerships, my wife drove us home in her "dream car" 2014 Fusion se in white metallic tri-coat with tan leather, navigation, dual climate control, moon roof, premium 18" wheels etc. which just so happened to be sitting on the showroom floor!!! this deal couldn't have happened without the assistance of Ron Sumption, who took every step possible to work with us in our pursuit of my wife's utter happiness. while Ron maintained his professionalism he did connect with us on a personal level rather than the typical salesman/buyer relationship. hopefully in a few more months Ron and Eddie will have me riding in a new "to me" certified pre owned F-150 super crew 4x4. Intial quote from sales manager "I am giving you the real deal". Dealership knew I was going to Hawthorne to check pricing. Gave me low ball pricing just to inform me later that they would not honor their given price due to their mistake. The sales managers between hawthorne and tindol are friends so they decidecd to communicate with each other (behind my back) over the dealings I was trying to complete. I have bought many cars from Tindol over the years but I guess there must be a new way of doing business now a days. Its a shame our local ford dealers are playing these games with good dedicated money in pocket customers. Been a ford man all my life and as much as I love fords I guess I will have to look out of local area to find a ford dealer that will treat a cash paying customer with respaect and honesty. I should have learned my lesson a few years ago when my f350 got jacked up in their lot and my set of dually wheels stolen with other damages, that these people do not care about anything but the money. Not only did my insurance company have to pay for the repairs, but tindol got to make the money for the repairs. Tindol wouldn't even pick up my $500 detuctible I had to pay. Lessons well learned I guess. Bottom line, if you get the "real deal" better send it back and ask them for the real "real deal"

I had been looking to purchase a full size truck, and had been researching all I could for a while. We decided to drop in at Earl Tindol Ford to take look at there inventory. We found a few used trucks that were close to what we wanted, and then saw a great deal on a used Toyota Tundra Double Cab. It was exactly what our family needed, and was in good condition. We had a wonderful down to earth sales employee named Doren Moore. He was very polite and not pushy at all. Most dealership have the sharks lined up to feed once you roll in. He was more informative and wanted to help us in the right direction. We ended up getting a great deal on the truck within our budget, without losing the quality service from Earl Tindol. we came to tindol ford to purchase a used truck and mo adams helped us by showing me a 2011 ranger which we ended up purchasing and in the process of making the deal we discussed a car loan I had on another vehicle that particular loan was at an elevated percentage rate mo said he could put my wife in a new ford focus with a lower rate thus reducing my monthly payment with the help of eddie pittman and Robbie cagle we made that happen so I came out with a nice used truck at a good rate plus my high rate loan went away and I came out with a brand new car for my wife it couldn't have worked out any better

I upgraded to a 2014 Ford Fusion and as usual service was great and staff were friendly and helpful. This is my third Ford vehicle in 7 years, however I was a little disappointed when I came back two days after the sale to install satellite radio and license bracket. Took two hours out of my day, and only the bracket was installed. They forgot about the radio, but told me to come back next time. Also I found scratches on my glovebox, unusual for a brand new vehicle, and no set screws to hold the license plate, which supposedly were in the glovebox. I have confidence these issues will be resolved.

Greeted at the door, listened to our requests, supplied the right car right color and an excellent indoctrination prior to test drive. Answered all our questions and gave a fair market trade in price for our vehicle. We went to the Toyota dealer, to look at the Avalon and did a comparison. Got to say this. Even though we have been Toyota customers since 1996 and have absolutely no complaints or problems with the 3-Camerys & 3-Avalon's, we decided to go with the Ford Taurus Limited. I believe Doren's exquisite knowledge of his product plus the fact the car had everything I wanted and more, swayed me away from Toyota for the first time since 1996. You can bet that was an almost impossible task. Tindol Ford...Doren Moore is a KEEPER!

The only area that could be improved is the long delay in the credit department due to too many closures with only one credit manager on site. First of all, out of four Ford Motors sales/service locations, this is the only one that returned my call, so it was an auspicious start. The work was completed in a timely and professional manner. I had requested a second battery be added to my 2005 Ford F250 Crew Cab pickup. The solution that was offered was at a reasonable cost. The reason why I needed this was due to battery drain and cold weather conditions that prevented me from being able to start my truck. The battery drain is, in large part, due to some custom electric components that I had installed, such as a power inverter and an in-vehicle network gateway. After the work was completed, the next morning the temperature was 24 degrees, which would have normally caused some hesitation to start. However, there was no hesitation and the truck started immediately. Overall, I am very happy with the value, workmanship and expedience with which it was carried out.

The only downside was the finance department. I was provided with one lender option (which was a first for me; in prior deals I was given several choices with comparable rates and was able to choose the lender and term I liked the best). I secured a better rate myself and am waiting for a call back from Cory on how to facilitate the switch (he initially told me that I couldn't switch lenders which baffled me as the vehicle has not been picked up yet). He was to call me back yesterday afternoon......the call hasn't come. I would still recommend your dealership as Don was great - but would advise offering customers lending choices and having Cory follow-through on return calls that are promised (even if the matter was still being researched, a call to tell me he was still working on it, etc).

Service team: Great/ExcellentCaleb Martin was professional, friendly, and prompt in responding to all of my inquiries. He documented my laundry list of items for repair, and each one was taken care of when I picked up my vehicle. I had one question related to a charge on the invoice, which Caleb quickly addressed and resovled. Quality of work: Great/NAMy local mechanic told me the source of steering noise was bad ball joints. The Ford Technicians at Tindol correctly determined the true cause to be the tie rods - a much cheaper repair. The tie rods were replaced and the steering noise is gone.One of the repairs was a belt/tensioner replacement. The constant belt squealing is resolved. I experienced a couple of belt chirps one morning commute, but I believe it may have been due to wet conditions. Regarding Price: GoodI saved a lot of money by avoiding an unecessary and costly ball joint replacement as recommended by a local mechanic. The charge for replacing the tie rods was higher than I had been quoted by a local mechanic. The higher is worth it in my opinion when the alternative is considered.

I bought a 2014 Ford Explorer Sport on July 3, 2013 and traded-in a 2009 F150 on it. I was very pleased with the service we received in addition to the pricing for a very in-demand vehichle that was hard to find. You had exactly what I wanted at a very fair price. Over the next few weeks I decided I wanted another truck for myself and knew I'd prefer to buy another F150 since I've only own Ford trucks in the past. I returned to your dealership on 7/22 after searching on the Internet at pricing and availability. I was looking for an FX4 this time but wasn't set on buying a fully loaded truck with a $49k MSRP. However, based on the pricing you guys offered, I again found a truck configured exactly the way I would have ordered from Ford and the pricing was extremely competitive. Also, the trade-in offered on the 2012 Hyundai Veloster was $500 less than my minimum and we just couldn't budge either way. I would normally said thank you for your time and left, but in this case I appreciated the no-pressure approach and willingness to discuss pricing in detail. I decided my time was worth more than the $500 difference given the pricing on the truck was aggressive and you had what I wanted in stock. I live about 120 miles away and came back for the great service and fair/competitive pricing. I would recommend your dealership to others interested in a new Ford vehicle. I don't expect any issues from my new vehicles but if I had a problem I believe your delearship would go to bat with Ford if it was necessary.Thanks to Mo, Dorin, Tim, and Rob in finance for their professinalism and great service.

I had been car shopping at various dealers for about a week. Two dealers had said the only way I could get financed was with a very high downpayment. I'd pretty much given up on getting another vehicle. I totally dismissed my husband when he said he was going to try Tindol. He reached Mo Adams and within a few minutes we had an approval we could afford on a much newer vehicle than we'd even looked at and at a better price than the older vehicles we had been told were out of our reach at other dealers. The entire experience was wonderful and we will definitely be back and have told our friends and neighbors. Thanks Mo and Rob in finance.

Very friendly, and worked hard to for my business. I walked onto the lot at 10 mins to close on a Saturday, and Doren walked up to me within minutes. He took the time and stayed after Saturday showing me a bunch of different trucks, and never made me feel rushed. We didn't reach a deal on Saturday, but I knew I had found the dealership I was going to buy my new truck from. I came back Monday, and Doren took me for a test drive, and we made a deal with the help of Eddie. It was the first car I ever had to purchased from anyone other than a family friend from back home, but I know I'll be back and I'll recommend to anyone looking to buy.

I was looking on the internet and chose your Tindol Ford to help me decide on a SUV. I called on Saturday 25 -Tindol Ford and talk to the lady that handles the calls, she was very nice and forward me to Mike Hudson. Mike was very helpful and assisting with my needs, I gave him several SUVs to check on and Mike called me back in a short time and gave me the information I needed. I called back and the lady that answer the phone new my voice and name and told me who I was talking to ( since you had 2 Sales Person name Mike and I forgot Mike last name.) We came down 25-Saturday late and looked and drove 2 SUVs and the other Ford Escape SUV was being sold when we got there. Mike told me about another 2012 Ford Escape Escape XLT SUV that just came in and to come back Monday 27th. So we came down and drove the Ford Escape Escape XLT and then we drove another 2013 Ford Escape 4 cylinder but has power of 6 cylinder to compare. I liked the 2012 Ford Escape Escape XLT so we brought it. The man at the Door greeted us and spoke to us, was very nice and made sure we were taken care of. Roland Hamner help us with information regarding how to use the Sirrus and SYNC and to call him if we have any questions on the vehicle. Eddie Pittman also help Mike Hudson with some question to setting up our account. Corey helped us regarding the finance and we came back down Tuesday to redo the finance with the Extended Warranty and the Gap. We paid $4000.00 down on the loan and my husband felt like we just use the $4000.00 for other expenses and not paying down on the cost of the car. We decided to drop the Gap and Corey helped us with a coupon to reduce the Extended Warranty thanks to Corey for helping us.Now all is well and we enjoy the 2012 Ford Escape Escape XLT and thanks to Mike Hudson for thinking about the SUV if it wasn't for him I don't know if we would still be looking for an SUV or went somewhere else.

I honestly was treated like royalty. Everyone smiled, waved, said hello and every question and request was met and/or addressed! This is the best car buying experience I have ever had and I have personally have bought 6 vehicles in my lifetime. Don asked great questions, was up front with the answers and what he could do and not do and he picked the perfect car for me! I left with the 1st car he picked out! I test-drove several different cars for days and went back to my favorite...his first choice! I have had the car for two days and have been bragging about Tindol Ford ever since. I am sold and an advocate for Tindol Ford. I wouldn't go get a vehicle anywhere else!

Overall experience was good. The original price quoted was too high but when I saw the same truck on your website for 5k less than we we quoted by Marcus and we called to ask about it we were immediately given the Internet price. I thought that was slightly shady. But other than that we are very pleased with our new truck and would recommend others. I would just advise anyone shopping for a vehicle at any dealership to check their website for better prices.

I normally would not even consider shopping there because of the prior experience so I was pleasantly surprised. This is the 1st car buying trip that was not a horrible day. Mo is the perfect salesman because he doesn't believe in pressuring the customer but allows them to make there own decision. Don was extremely helpful during my wife's purchase. Why is it so painful to purchase a car or truck. 3+ HOURS. The last car I bought, at a different dealer, was 1 hour and 15 minutes tops. Then to have the finance guy try to play with the APR was inexcusable. I am glad we caught it otherwise we would be paying TWO points HIGHER. I know it is legal for him to do it but it is pretty underhanded. The sale guy, Brian, was very nice but seemed hog-tie by the Sales Manager. Overall, if I hadn't needed an older truck I would have gone elsewhere, and I will next time.As far as writing the review at the dealership, NO. I was ready to leave after all that time.

BUYER BEWARE!!!!!This dealership is TRULY a "stealership"!!We bought a BRAND NEW car here and found damage to the body as well as paint that looked like it was easily a year old. WE HAVE PICTURES OF THE CAR DENTED PRIOR TO US PURCHASING THE VEHICLE GROM THEM!!! Theyactually insinuated we dented it!!!When we contacted the dealer about it we were told to bring the car back and they would take care of it. Well, two days later we were told our car was ready.... But they couldn't fix the body damage so just come pick up your car.... Without any other options or offers to repair the car. This is a $58,000 car. Fords flagship car. We were very discontent with the service at this point. Short story.... We were directed up the chain of command to the general manager Tom. The most useless and condescending individual we have ever dealt with in a customer service situation EVER! He actually told us if it were his car he would do NOTHING to the dent in the vehicle! We told him that was not an option at all and his only other option was body work, after telling us it would "compromise the factory paint" !!! We asked for a new hood instead and flat out the useless general manger Tom just said "no, I'm not ordering a hood". Totally useless. Worst car buying experience ever. All they did when we picked up the car was wax it. No scratches removed. No dents fixed. NOTHING! When we called back today Tom the general manager HUNG UP ON US!! I guess this place is more about saving the almighty dollar than selling cars in NEW condition or ANY customer service! BUYER BEWARE! Read the bad reviews. The good ones are certainly bogus and written by the dealership!
