I brought my 2015 CX-5 into Suburban Mazda for its first three oil changes and was very satisfied with the service - even though they charge $85 for an oil change, tire rotation and check-up. The last time I tried to make a Saturday appointment, I was informed that they could do an oil change, but would be unable to perform a factory recall because the technicians that do this don't work on Saturdays. As the dealer is 12 miles away from where I live and 13 miles away from where I work, taking my vehicle in during the week is a big inconvenience.As a result, I made an appointment at Causley Mazda. It's nearly 19 miles away, but they were able to perform the recall on a Saturday. Another bonus - Causley Mazda only charges $65 for the same service. Needless to say, Causley Mazda has earned my service business from now on.

I want to thank the service team and Mazda for making a recent service issue as painless as possible. The sunroof switch on my car failed 700 miles out of warranty. The service department submitted a "goodwill" warranty claim to Mazda and the company agreed to covered it. In addition, I was given a brand new 2016 Mazda 6 to drive with zero hesitation. Often, getting transportation while a car is in for service can be a hassle. I really appreciate the top notch experience!

I have been interested in the Mazda6 since the auto show. At the end of March, my husband and I took a ride to see what Suburban had in their lot and possible take a test drive. We still had a few months left of my lease, so we weren't expecting to get a new car. Derrick saw us when we walked in and asked what I wanted in the car. He wasn't pushy to make the sale at all. That I believe was the main deciding factor.Derrick was very helpful and found us the best deal. He was able to take my lease and we drove off in the new car within a couple of hours. If it wasn't for him and his hard work, I wouldn't be in the car I love!

Doug St.Louis was great!!! He'd pull the 5-star rating for the dealership for me here. He really went above and beyond in helping me to purchase my new car. As soon as I walked in, I felt comfortable and didn't have any worry about overpaying or getting roped into a bad deal. He took the time to let me test drive it and then bring my family back to check it out as well. There was never any sense of rush, and he was able to easily answer every question - super knowledgeable about the cars. When it came to purchasing the car, he went out of his way checking into every option to get me the best price possible. I would recommend him to anyone!On the other hand... I also worked with Melissa in finance - and I pulled the rating down to 4 stars because of her. I found her to be rude and a little unprofessional. She made a bit of small talk when we walked over to her office, and upon learning a personal life detail, her response was "shut up!!" Yes I know this is silly and a joke, but we aren't in middle school anymore, please try not to have that be a response to something a customer says. My main issues with her were that while we were filling out paperwork, she screamed for the salesman out in the sales area while sitting in her chair. Multiple times. I found this not only a bit rude to your customers, but also disrespectful to your salesmen. Is it really that difficult to get up, walk out, and speak to them like they are your co-workers? After she explained some of the warranty packages available for purchase, I declined to buy one - and afterwards her attitude completely changed. She was short and a bit impatient. Overall this was a great car-buying experience and I will recommend it, there are just a couple of small things that could've knocked it out of the park.

Just leased a Mazda CX-5 and am thoroughly happy with both this beautiful car and my salesperson mike Dugan. Mike was upfront with various printed out leasing options, helped me think through some choices I e whether to prebuy more miles. He was considerate, very friendly, on time with our appointment, and all around very pleasant to deal with. Mike arranged for Mazda to buy out the remainder of my old lease on a ford and made part of the transaction totally easy and straightforward I also want to commend Melissa in the finance dept. I have leased many cars over the years and this was my best expetience. Melissa was very helpful, clear, patient with all my questions All around good transaction with her! If you are thinking about leasing or purchasing a Mazda, I highly recommend you visit Suburban Mazda of Troy and ask for Reeven Sana. From the time we walked into the dealership to check out the CX-5 Reeven was the perfect guide. We visited the dealership on a busy Saturday afternoon and test drove both a 2015 CX-5 and a 2016 CX-5. While we were on our test drive Reeven had our current vehicle appraised to see the trade in value. The value came in a touch higher than we were hoping, and we decided on the 2016 CX-5. Reeven and Nate the Sales Manager showed us payment options that were within our desired range. We filled out the loan paperwork, and agreed to finish everything else up via email on Monday. We finalized everything with Reeven via email on Monday, arrived at the dealership at 6:30PM, signed paperwork, Reeven explained all the features on the vehicle and we were on our way. Truly one of the easiest auto purchases I have ever had. If you are looking for a very laid back, informative, honest car dealer, go ask for Reeven Sana at Suburban Mazda in Troy!

From my initial internet inquiry, test drive, locating a car with my requirements, through final preparation and delivery, Derrick did a fantastic job! He was able to meet the TrueCar price and on top of it found an extra rebate through financing that became available 2 days after I picked a car. I have high standards and he made sure his dealership and he met them with the final presentation of my new car. It probably took longer than usual, but I was never rushed. He is very trustworthy. Doug St. Louis made my leasing of 2 Mazda CX-5s the best it could be. He has made himself available and has been polite, professional, personable, honest and understanding. He got me the best possible deal and I think he even reached into his own pocket to save me even more money ;) I had an issue with the smartphone remote starter and the he made sure to have it swapped out for the key fob. I met Doug when I was going to pick up the new car. Doug had actually sold a car to a family member in the past, but I forgot to request his name when I went in. By the time I got the information, I was already assigned to someone else. As a result, I ended up working with another representative for most of the deal. When I was checking out the car, I was disappointed to discover that there were more miles on it than I had anticipated. I brought this up with the previous representative, who didn't seem to care very much. Despite this, I decided to go through with the deal. This was my first car purchase so I had many questions, and it was evident that the previous salesman was getting impatient with me. Furthermore, the aforementioned family member received free all-weather floor mats so I decided to ask for them too. At that point, the previous representative basically scolded me for being ungrateful for all he had done for me. This was when I spoke with the manager, who reassigned me to Doug. Both Doug and the manager were very kind to me and apologized greatly for the way I was treated. They both offered me amenities to make up for my poor experience. Doug was also very patient with all the questions that I had and walked me through the entire process of acquiring the vehicle. He then took time to help me set up the car to my liking and explained all the features and how to use them. By the time I drove off the lot, I was very happy with my purchase. Doug really did save the day.

I was new to the States and had only been like 5-6 weeks without much credit history. Reveen was very helpful from the moment I met him for the first time. He explained the terms of the lease for me as lease was my preferred option. He helped me throughout the process even though the approval took a bit of time and he kept me updated about the status throughout. These guys got the car from another dealer as I wanted to have a car at the earliest and even gave a loaner till I got mine. I have to take my Mazda 6 in for a recall and when I called the dealership I was directed to Chris Lange, even though he was not the Chris that I have been working with, Chris did not hesitate to take care of me. He answered all my questions and was patience with me. I have worked most of my life in a customer service environment and I know how people like to be treated and I expect the same. Recently I was in for servicing on one of my tires. It was brought upon me that a screw was right in the center of my rear tires. It was a busy Friday and I stopped in, they told me it was a long wait, however the shuttle took me home. I was contacted so fast that my tired had been fixed, quicker than I thought it would be. "Awful service at the service dept"I had to way almost 2 week for next appt available today 7-21 I cant wait what they going to say in regarding my vibration problem with my 5 months tires that I purchase there I have 3 times rotation balancing and alignment and my cx5 2015 still the same problem and when I go on 60 up to 80 my front end vibrate really bad that's roadforce balancing ( bad tires )They better to replace my tires !!! And when there to the dealer they told that was normal because we got bad roads in Michigan...... I took m59 everyday to crooks and the road is in good conditions....... My cx-5 started with that problem when i got my tires from there. Even they lie because when I purchase the tires they told me we did a tires rotation and balancing they never did it !!! My car was worse !!!! I won't never lease again with Mazda ever again !!! I can't wait to done with my lease or deal with suburban collection again I would like to speak with Mr. David T Fischer the CEO thanks

Weary of the typical "bait and switch" and 100% oversell from many salespeople, I entered the dealership Saturday and asked Doug St. Louis what the price of "this car" (one I had found out back). He went to his computer, printed out the sheet, and came back with a price. I purchased it without another question. So refreshing, so easy, so much the way I want to do business when buying a new car. Four days later, I picked up the car exactly as promised, and was on my way in less than 20 minutes. Perfect!

I was very impressed with the service and attention I received with Mathew Miles at Mazda. I was greeted immediately when I walked through the door. He answered my questions and had the CX5 warmed up and ready to test drive right away. I was on my lunch hour and he readily let me know that I would receive a discount through my employer with Mazda ( unbeknownst to me!) and also asked me what other cars I had at home. It turned out that because I had a similar vehicle from a competitor, I was entitled to a further discount. I had been to a total of 6 dealerships ( not all Mazda) and only had one other experience that even came close . I went back to Matthew two other times before sealing the deal and each time he had the car warmed up and ready for me. He answers all emails and calls promptly and went through a thorough review of the vehicle on purchase, including setting up my Bluetooth and Pandora connections. I loved the service, no-pressure and helpful attitude that I received from Mathew and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone in the market for a new car. Oh, I love my new CX5! I was formerly a Honda loyalist but the service, style and solid build of the new CX5 with all the amenities I needed - Bluetooth , Pandora and the moonroof and Bose speaker package, and competitive price won me over. Thanks to Mathew Miles and Mazda for a great new car experience!!

I had been looking at new cars for awhile, and had a lot of interactions with various dealers and sales people. By far, Jane DeMulder was best in class! Jane has such a wonderful personality and was so helpful dealing with the ups and downs of purchasing a new vehicle. She is so honest and tries to do what is best for the customer. Our experience at Suburban Mazda was fantastic! My wife wanted to get a new car and despite our difficult schedules, Jane Demulder was kind enough to actually bring the car to our house. My wife took it for a test drive, loved it and we did the paperwork at our kitchen table. No hassle trying to figure out how we were going to make it out to Troy from Chesterfield. We were so happy with this great service that I even took my own used car out to them and they bought it from me--no listing my car on scary public websites. Check is on its way and now I'm driving my wife's old car. Everybody is happy. My wife and I were both in the market for new cars at the same time. Bottom-line, this is the best dealership we have ever worked with. Specifically, we were extremely impressed with how well everybody worked together. Our primary contacts were Mathew and Che, who are both top-notch. However, there were a couple times I stopped in where they were not available at the moment. This is where Mike and Derrick jumped in to ensure everything flowed smoothly. Also impressed with Matt and Che's product knowledge, but also their ability to let the products speak for themselves in regard to our specific needs. The lack of high-pressure sales tactics kept the entire process enjoyable and stress-free. Although my wife ultimately purchased a different make of vehicle (only because the specific model itself met her needs a little more), she actually expressed remorse she wasn't buying here, only because she was so impressed with the quality of this dealership compared to the one she was working with. Bottom line, I would not hesitate to recommend this dealer.

Me and my husband went to this dealership for a vehicle confuse and undecided what to buy. Jane welcome us and show us few cars first the one we had in mind. She was very calm and pleasant, not like other dealers I have visit in last month at Toyota and Ford. They were into making sale not what we wanted. She was not like many sales person I have known for over 20 years. My husband don't speak much English and she kept cool and tried to understand what he wanted. She suggested a car with low miles and price to fit out budget. She was the best Sales person we worked with who care what the customer need was, not just adding another sale to her list. We highly appreciated for all her help and understanding to get a good car for our family. Her manager was very nice and pleasant to work with too. My wife totaled her Chevy Cruze last week, but ironically she was already set up to get a new SUV this week. The Cruze was going to be my car to drive to and from work for the remainder of the lease. Insurance totaled it on Friday, and I went shopping at the Troy Auto Mall for a new car on Saturday with intentions to get something that day. I went to all the dealers that had cars I was interested in (compacts like Mazda3, Dart, Focus, Cruze, Impreza, Jetta, etc). I already knew the Mazda would be one of my top choices, so I went there first. Matt was my sales guy and got me hooked up on a test drive real quick, and after I told him I wanted to keep looking. He said no problem, and even walked me next door to the Dodge dealer and introduced me to one of the Dodge sales guys. The rest of the day for about 5 hours I went dealer to dealer and drove all the cars I was interested in. I enjoyed the Mazda3 the most, and not only that but most of the other dealers (ironically except most the other Suburban dealers) just flat out annoyed me. The thing that annoys me most about other dealers is when I tell them what other cars I'm looking at, they start cutting down their competition with untrue statements. I do my research and I read all the compact reviews and shootouts I could find prior to buying...so sorry Chevy guys, we had a Cruze and liked it just fine, but it never "blows the competition away" like you say. It's like other dealers were trying to make me feel bad for liking a different car. So not only did I like driving the Mazda3 the best, it was by far the best price, had good options for the money (although give me a dang touch screen in a manual touring next time Mazda!), and the people there (specifically Matt and Che) were absolutely the best people to deal with out of all the dealers I've talked to. Matt and Che were also very helpful and understanding when my wife came in to sign with me and basically changed the entire lease terms I had already worked out! I don't know if I'll always buy Mazdas from now on, but I definitely will visit this dealer first every single time we ever need a car. I will also be recommending everybody I know to this dealer.

Matt was a great person to work with. I was really reluctant to start looking for a car, and deal with the usual dealership dynamics. I went to a few different area dealers but thought Matt and the rest of the Suburban Mazda team was the most straightforward to deal with, low pressure (but with an interest in working out a deal), and seemed willing to help make the whole deal work for me and what I was looking for. My wife enjoyed going in and noticed a big difference between the environment of this dealership versus a few others we went to. Hope to work with them again down the road sometime.

Yes, this place has everything and if you change your mind on a vehicle or make there are other manufacturers dealerships in the same auto mall which are owned by Suburban so you can keep the same salesman that you are comfortable with, very unique. Mat looked a little young for your typical auto salesman but he had all the answers, was eager to sell but not pushy and was a pleasure to work with. I will look him up at Suburban next time I buy another car and if I get the deal I got on this car, I'll owe him a beer.

I was refereed to Suburban Mazda by a friend. They meet and exceeded my expectations at this dealership. Each person that I dealt with was extremely professional, helpful and willing to work with me as I was looking to purchase a car. My salesman was Mathew Miles I will refer lots of people to Mat. He was extremely knowledgeable and asked the right questions to get a car that not only fit my needs, but also my budget. The sales manager Che Shaydak made sure that I understood my options in regard to financing and found the right fit with a great interest rate and terms that I wanted. And lastly because of my busy schedule (I run a childcare out of my home) they delivered my new car to my home and the paperwork was completed there. Karalyn Snay was excellent and went through all of the paperwork with me and put me at ease as I signed my paperwork. Che and his sales team really made me feel valued and they didn't try to size me up. They listened to what I said and got me into the vehicle that I wanted comfortably, without too much pressure (compared to the games many played at other dealerships and didn't really think I had the money to get a new vehicle at 25). They are great about communication, which I really appreciated and have followed up with me a couple of times with my purchase to make sure I am happy. Buying a Mazda through this dealership was really an enjoyable experience. People were honest, available, unobtrusive, and helpful. At no point in time, from first contact to phone calls to buying the car after hours, I felt rushed or talked into a buying decision. Which is not what I can say for some other dealers I contacted. People in other dealerships (regardless of car brand) were generally nice, but I must say some of the other dealers' phone calls were intimidating, to say the least. Which is why I was sincerely impressed with the experience that Roger O., Steve E. and Matt V. created for us.Roger went out of his way to give me the best possible price and make everything, from initial contact to car pickup, convenient. The car I initially inquired about was sold by the time I got there, but Roger arranged for another car (in a color I actually liked better) to wait for me at the time of my visit. Steve was very patient and took his time to explain what there is to know about the car and related services. Matt answered all our financing and warranty-related questions thoroughly and closed the deal quickly.It is rare to walk out of a business today and know that you have actually made friends! I recently had my vehicle in for service based on a noise I was hearing in the engine area. In addition to the noise, I thought that the brakes needed to be looked at. After a few days, I received a call from the service manager (Scott Bryant) informing me that the engine problem was severe and could require a new engine. After some time dealing with the warranty folks, Scott was able to convince them that is would be more beneficial to have the whole engine replaced rather then some parts. As a side note, this is now the third engine I have had and the vehicle is a 2005 Mazda 6 with 68,000 miles. Throughout the process, Scott kept me in the loop as to what was going on and never hesitated to answer any of my questions. In addition, he was able to secure me a rental from the local company and after some time, he exchanged it for lot car to ensure that the warranty folks would still cover the cost. The engine was installed and I drove the vehicle to my new home in Virginia. I had issues with the vehicle when I arrived in Virginia and had the vehicle taken over to a local Mazda dealer. A few issues were found with the work completed at Suburban and I reached out to Scott to let him know. Without being prompt to do so, he reached out to the Virginia dealer and took control of the situation. The two issues that appeared to be a Suburban mistake are now going to be paid for by Suburban and I am very appreciative of it. I dont know many dealers that would own up to their mistake and make the situation right. I am very grateful for the help and truly believe that Suburban Mazda is a top notch operation. The most important aspect of where I purchase a car is if the dealer is up front with me. When I inquired about a car, it was clear that I did my homework and new the price I should pay. Steve didn't screw around trying to get me to pay more than I should have. The transaction was effortless and just required me to make a decision on the car I wanted. Other dealers were giving me bad information, quoting me prices using numbers that didn't make sense and then saying, 'oh I forgot about that discount' or something along those lines. Not here. On top of that, the car I wanted was in Cleveland, and they picked it up for me, at no extra cost.
