I bought my new 2014 Malibu on February 22. This was my first visit for service and it was painless. An oil change and a fix to the brakes from a recall. My service guy was great explained what was done and informed me that there was a slice in the side of my tire and to watch it. I was glad he wasn't on me to buy four new tires - like other dealerships have been on my previous cars.

Went in with one coupon that had an oil change, tire rotation, and 27 point inspection all included. Left with pretty good service except there was nothing on my paperwork that even mentioned the Technician doing the 27 point inspection. Wish I would have noticed it before I left to ask about it, but at the time I just assumed it was completed with the rest of the work...it was not.

I think that it is important to always have my car serviced at the same place. If there are problems in the future, there is a good record of what has been done to the car in the past. The engine light problem was quickly diagnosed and a cost for the repairs was offered. The part needed to be ordered and was expected the next day. Because of weather conditions the part did not arrive and I received a phone call updating me on the status. I also asked that they lock my tailgate as I had forgotten that my tool box was in the bed. When I picked up my truck the next day the bed was locked as required and my tool box was in place.Great customer service as always.

We ordered our 2014 Chevrolet Cruze Turbo diesel through this dealership and had no problems. The car arrived ahead of schedule and was exactly what we asked for. Everyone was friendly and answered all of our questions. We love the car and the service we received. I would highly recommend this dealership if your looking for quality vehicles. They also sell an large assortment trailers too. We didn't purchase one, but we did get a look at some very nice horse trailers they had available.

I live 250 miles away from dealer asked for some very specific information and received what appears to be your standard come & see. Don't know about you but I am very specific about the vehicles I buy and equipment I want thus before I travel 250+miles, I want to make sure the vehicle had the proper equipment before i invest the time & money to travel there. When you request this information & you are blown off by dealer, it isn't one in my opinion, I'd trust.

I recently took in a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle for service. The On-Star system did not work and also, if the car sat unused for 3 or more days, the battery was completely dead. I dropped it off on a Tues. evening. Wednesday I received a call from Joe in service who said that the technician had seen a "parasitic drain" on the electrical system of about 500 milliamps, but could not yet find the source. He was checking out the system, circuit by circuit, fuse by fuse. They needed to keep the car another day. No offer of a loaner. Thursday, still could not find the electrical drain, they would replace the VCIM module that controls the On-Star and maybe that would clear up BOTH problems. The part would not be in until late Friday or early Saturday. Still no offer of a loaner (that is supposed to be part of the Certified Pre-Owned warranty). So I asked for a loaner vehicle. I was told that there were none available. Friday I heard nothing, Saturday I got a call from the Service Manager, Jim. He told me that my car was finished and ready to be picked up. I asked what work had been done and he told me that the new VCIM module was installed and the On-Star was now working. Great I said, what about the electrical drain? He said "what electrical drain". I said the one that Joe told me about and that your technician has been trying to track down for 3 days. He said that they NEVER saw a drain and that I should "come and pick up my vehicle and if I have any more problems, I should bring it back". I told him that this vehicle is driven by my 16 year-old DAUGHTER and that I am NOT comfortable putting her in this vehicle until the electrical problem has been fixed. I do not want her stranded by the side of the road with a dead battery. THIS IS MY DAUGHTER WE ARE TALKING ABOUT HERE. At this point he became very rude to me and kept repeating that "my vehicle is done and ready to be picked up." He also said that in the furure "I should take my vehicle elsewhere for service." I asked to speak to Joe (who had been very professional to me EXCEPT for not providing me with a loaner vehicle) but I was told that Joe was not working that Saturday. Reluctantly, I went to pick up the vehicle because it was obvious that Jim was NOT going to do anything further for my Daughter's car. Upon arriving at the dealership, I asked Jim if I could have a "Customer Satisfaction Survey" and he told me, "Not for you". He then FOLLOWED me to the Cashier"s window and when she gave me my keys, I asked her for a Customer Satisfaction Survey as well. He once again said "not for you". I asked why not and he said "Because I've had problems with you before." I asked what he meant by that and he would not answer me. I then asked him for a copy of the service charges that Sparta Chevy charged back to General Motors for the 3 days of work on the vehicle. He said the only paperwork that I was entitled to was the slip he gave me showing "NO CHARGE" to me. I have NEVER been treated so RUDELY by a dealership in my life. I have waited 2 weeks to write this testimonial to see if I might change my mind. I have NOT. I will NEVER go back to Sparta Chevy and I will NOT recommend them to any friends or family EVER again!!!

We were only 'looking' at cars on the internet. I put in 'Sparta Chevrolet' and left our information. The next morning Lisa Fredricks called and left a message. i called her back and made plans to meet with her after work that day. She asked a few questions about what we were looking for and helped us to narrow down what we could afford and what appealed to us in a used car. We then picked out a few to test drive. Lisa was very knowledgeable and did not pressure us at all. She was more like a teacher and friend. She has a great sense of humor and we felt very relaxed around her. We told her that we wanted to think about the cars we drove and would get back to her. I called her the following morning and arranged to meet her again after I was done at work. I told her which car we decided on and she started the financial part of the process. 2 days later we took our 'new' car home!! I cannot say enough good thing about Sparta Chevy and especially Lisa Fredricks. Lisa sold me a new 2013 Silverado 1500 in December and is probably one of the most pleasant people I have ever met. She made me immediately feel at ease, offered me coffee on a cold blustery day, and completely covered what her and Sparta Chevy could do for me. With there substantial inventory, I was able to pick out the truck I wanted and drive away in it the very next day. I financed through them and they found me a great rate! Lisa was there when I picked up my truck. She was very attentive and took the time to go over the entire vehicle with me, making sure the Onstar was setup, that I understood the XM satellite, and she even helped me pair my phone and setup the hands-free option. When I went in for my first service this past month, she greeted me by name with a smile and took time to visit with me and make sure I was completely happy with my truck. I will definitely do business with Sparta Chevy again, and most definitely with Lisa.

My first experience with Sparta Chevrolet was in 2005 when I decided to purchase what I had always wanted. a new Silverado HD. I was so fortunate to find Anna Bearinger who helped me find the one I wanted. There was no task of the job that she wasn't eager to help me with and showed just as much excitement in getting me what I wanted as I was feeling to get what I wanted. It was like a celebration from start to finish. A celebration of success. A few years later I decided I needed a new economical car and of course, I went right to Anna. However, I thought I could get a better deal after seeing adds from another dealer in Grand Rapids. When I went to the other dealer, I quickly learned, there was no deal. And a purchase from them would have involved a great deal of compromise from me on what I wanted. So, Back to Anna I went and she forgave my stupidity and sold me exactly what I wanted with yet an additional incentive she had found in the meantime. Now, while all of that in itself was the best experience I've ever had buying a car, the next topped it all. My 70 year old mother had never had a new car and she lives too far from me for me to be able to help her when her rust bucket 1988 Ranger breaks a fuel line or a gas line or a tie rod etc etc etc. So, I decided to buy her a reliable, economical car. So, back to Anna I went. She searched all over for the exact car that I described to her that I needed and came up with the absolute perfect match. And did all of the paperwork and sales taxes so I would be able to quickly and easily get it registered in the state my mother lives in. Anna Bearinger has taken care of all of my transportation needs now since 2005 and I would never consider another dealer. Sparta Chevrolet has taken care of all of my maintenance needs since 2005 as well and I rely on them for their fair prices and excellence. I can't thank or recommend Anna Bearinger and Sparta Chevrolet enough. They are truly an award winning combination.

After buying a used Equinox, I had trouble with the brakes. They fixed the brakes immediately at no cost. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, even though I was a little pushy. I was very excited to get the car and they worked with me to make it happen.
