From the minute I walked into the dealership I knew that this was the right place to get my new Kia Sedona. The staff was friendly and helpful. Lenny, the manager, and I connected very quickly as he raises guide dogs for special needs families and I myself have a special needs family. Anyone who can raise an animal knowing that they are not going to keep it and have it go to a special needs family deserves my business. Adam (the salesman) was one of the sweetest men I have ever met. Even with a hurt foot, it didn't stop him from giving me the best service he could. Greg did everything he could to make sure I got the exact car I wanted (I was very specific in my requests). I highly recommend this dealership for many reasons. Thank you so much Smithtown Kia. My new Sedona is amazing!

Smithtown KIA is about 1 mile from our home so naturally being we were shopping for a new KIA my wife and I found ourselves there. We looked at the car we wanted and were talking options with our salesman when over the PA a page came over "all salesmen see Lenny!" Up until this time everyone seemed very nice. Our salesman kindly excused himself and with the others went to a back office. From behind the now closed office door we heard yelling and profanity like never before! We got so uncomfortable and concerned of this man that when our salesman came back out we said thank you and felt the need to leave as this is not the experience we were expecting. The salesman told us Lenny is the owner and just having a bad day he guesses. I can just imagine the stress the employees must feel with him yelling like that as we did. I'm believe this wasn't just a bad day but his inexcusable attitude towards people. We felt sorry our salesman couldn't get his sale but refuse to give our money to an owner like that! We have since purchased at another dealership with no intention of ever returning to Smithtown KIA.

I have to say it was a pleasure dealing with smithtown kia. Gerard was never pushy which is something every other car dealership was like. He was extremely helpful in helping me choose the right car. I wanted a specific color that was very hard to find. The vehicle itself was hard to find but Gerard promised me he would get me into the car I wanted and he did. The car itself is beautiful and I'm glad I went with it. I had gone to other dealerships like ford, where I had to strip a vehicle down of most of its features just to make It affordable but it would have not b been what I wanted. The sportage SX had everything I could want for a great price. And after all the waiting and waiting to find the right one smithtown Kia definitely made it right. One of the things I liked about the experience was Gerard showed us just enough, and made me feel good about the car while ALSO allowing the car to sell itself. He never shoved it down my throat or called me every single day like the other dealers which is a huge turn off so thank you! Overall great experience.

I recently Leased a 2016 Kia Soul. To be honest my credit sucks. The folks at Kia of Smithtown did everything in their power to get me approved. At one point the Lovely Lady from finance (Rosa) was on the phone for over an hour with one company working on getting me approved. At no time did i feel less of a person because of my past credit history. I left there with my head held high because of the high sense of compassion and integrity I was treated with. Ask for Adam Hernandez really good guy !!!

The best part of my experience was not feeling pressure or being talked into something. From choosing trim options, warranties etc. the bottom line was my choice. Our trade in was more than fair, discounts on the new Optima EX was fantastic. Our salesman Mike was so courteous and made the process a wonderful experience. Also, a week after we made the purchase, i was informed our payment is even lower than expected and this say everything about their integrity. I have already told all my friends and contacts to check out this dealership if they are looking for a new or used car.

Went prepared to purchase a 2016 OptimaEX, but ended up buying a 2013 Optima SXLwith 8,000 miles that came in at a lower, fair price. Dealt with a sales rep named AZ Mercado. Good guy, we discussed cars, pros and cons of everything, got around to prices,and things were cool. No pressure involved, felt everything was straight up. There was actually a problem, in that the car was actually listed lower than it should have been, but the manager said it was their mistake, and they honored the price. Also very cool. I bring my Sedona there for service as well, and the service dept. is very good. All in all, a nice experience.

I never think to write reviews, like most people don't for anything. Most reviews are unfortunately only for complaints, but I couldn't just NOT write something after the great experience I had. Let me start off with how frustrated I was shopping for a car for over a month at different Kia dealerships, and what a breath of fresh air it was walking into the Smithtown dealership! Gerard made the process feel like a walk in the park. I never felt any pressure. He listened to what I wanted and what I was looking for in a car and got me there in the price I wanted. It was actually fun. He was funny and made the whole thing very comfortable from start to finish. I never felt like I had a question that wasn't answered or felt that I wasn't getting the best deal available. I would definitely recommend Kia of Smithtown as a whole, and most definitely recommend Gerard Ragan as a salesman any day.

I first went to another Kia dealer in Bohemia & the sales person was nice, however when the sales mgr. got involved & said he wouldn't give me a quote I asked him how was I going to make an intelligent decision. Then he started the old fast talk routine which I replied "well I guess you don't want my business then",This lead me to Smithtown Kia & my fist person of contact was Cory at the front desk, She was very pleasant & right away set a god tone for the rest of my visit to the Smithtown Kia dealership. My sales contact Rick Groff was a soft spoken person who explained & answered all of my questions in great detail & not once said "what is it going to take to get you into this vehicle, along with all of the other mombo jumbo sales pitch you typically get", No pressure & made me feel more comfortable dealing with Rick.Then when we reached a fair price & signed all of the paperwork Rick spent quite awhile going over every detail on the vehicle's features & how to use them. I then met with Rosa Maria in finance who explained all of the additional paperwork & other options available to me & did a great job.In closing this is how all car dealerships should conduct themselves & a job well done by the entire staff.*****

Stopped in on a Saturday after visiting other Kia delaerships on Friday evening. I was with my wife looking to replace her car. Met Mike and was very impressed. He was codial and professional. It was as if he was providing information and not "selling" us. It was far different the the other Kia dealerships. He asked us our wants and needs showed us what the car had to offer. I liked the Optima. He answered all of our questions and never steered us to more car. We ended up going with another brand. My wife made the final decision. She drives the car. Let me start by saying I hate buying new cars for the simple fact that I can't stand the haggling with sales. Now let me tell you about my expierience with ADAM at Smithtown Kia. Adam was extremely knowledgable and patient, NOT pushy at all. Gave me all the information about multiple vehicles and allowed me the opportunity to take my time and make an educated decision with my purchase. Once I decided on my vehicle I then took Adams price and shopped the vehicle with other dealers and when I found others who were less I brought it to Adam. Smithtown Kia brought the price of my vehicle down and took the time to show me all the extras they offered customers who purchase a vehicle with them vs. other dealerships. Things like free oil changes for a 1 year, free car washes for 1 year, free life inspections. those are just a few of the extras. So all and all Smithtown Kia was the better option, and they reduced the original price by a few thousand. I am extremely happy with my vehicle and I was extremely happy with my experience with the sale and with Adam. I have to say even the finance manager was not pushy, simply gave me my options and moved forward with the sale. Hats off to Smithtown Kia and Hats off to Adam....

So I just wanted to say that I am not a huge fan of Car salespeople, but what Smithtown Kia particularly Gerard Rennie tried very hard to find a way to get my son into a car and hit the number we needed. He wasn't able to but he took the time and days to keep trying to see what he could do, unlike other dealerships I went to and they stopped after one try with a very high number. So if your looking to get into a Kia go to Smithtown Kia and ask for Gerard Rennie he'll do his best to help you out.

The Dealership was having a sales event and the cars me and my mother was looking at was awesome. But the price was a bit out of our budget and we were with Danny B. a Sales Consultant and he was very very VERY helpful and very VERY patient with both me and my mother because of the things we were discussing. He was with us for a total of 5 HOURS that day we went in. We went home calculating the numbers for 2 days and when we got back Danny himself was busting his butt for us to make a better deal for us and we completely appreciate his effort and patients with us. Artie is the valet who initially greets customers at the service center, checks the car and begins the process. He is a kind and cheerful person, remembers customers from previous visits and makes you feel welcome.Eric is generally the service advisor that handles my car....he has a great attitude, watches for service announcements and reminds me of calendar/mileage deadlines for warranty issues. He truly "has my back" in terms of making sure I am receiving eligible discount campaigns, etc.Tom and Bill are also service advisors at Smithtown Kia and they are most helpful when I do reach out to them with questions, etc. The whole group makes up a wonderful service "team."

Our 2012 KIA optima EX was totalled on 8/8/15. The car was t-boned on drivers side center and rear by a jeep cherokee. 3 children our 2 and a close friend of theirs, were in the vehicle and my husband was driving. The car took a hard hit and all the safety features were instrumental in protecting them. The side curtain airbags deployed so fast that my husband didn't know what hit him. Soft tissue fatigue (whiplash) was all that everyone walked away from the impact with. I immediately informed KIA that we would be repeat customers as our experience with Rick back in 2012 was pleasant. This time, on 8/19/15 we walked in at 6pm, requesting Rick, he was out of the office, and we were warmly greeted by Gerard who told us all our options. He was more than patient and accomodating as well as extremely knowledgable with a comforting confidence in what he does. He treated us like we were celebrities and at our service! Within the hour, we had a vehicle selected, Optima SXL Turbo, fully loaded, deposit down and financing inquiries started by Roy, who was also very helpful, knowledgeable and looking to appease. He got us financing with the same bank (capital one) we had for the 2012 vehicle that was deemed a total loss and paid off by our insurance company, with a 2% lower interest rate! The warrantee and complimentary packages can't be beat! 20yr/200,000 warrantee?! Just wow. Who even owns a car that long anymore? Both of our car buying experiences there were outstanding. My husband and I woke up Friday morning 6/12/15 and decided to just go out and look at new SUV's, we didn't need to purchase one right away, we had plenty of time. KIA in Smithtown was our first stop and that's when we met our salesman Adam Hernandez. I liked him right off the top of our meeting him. I explained we were just looking to get ideas. Adam was very understanding of our situation, helpful with any questions and patient with showing and test driving the SUV's (we had our 16 month old daughter with us which led to test driving separately with my husband and I). We really liked the Sorento and Adam gave us a price. Again, we did say we were just looking, then we left and looked at other dealers. Adam did call and leave a message on our phone that he had the 2016 that we might like as well and was a few inches bigger all around. After doing research and figuring out our options we decided to go back the next morning and look at the 2016 model. (I also liked the 2015 model that I looked at as well - but Adam seemed to know what I wanted and I didn't realize what I wanted myself). We met with Adam Saturday morning again. As I said earlier he was very patient. What I liked most about Adam was that, he wasn't pushy! That is a big turn off for me. When I feel like someone is too pushy and just looking out for a sale I will walk away and leave (which I did do that Friday at other dealerships). Since I am writing this paragraph sharing my experience you know that I did purchase a KIA from Smithtown dealers. I am very happy and am enjoying driving my new 2016 Sorento. To get me out of an early lease with Hyundai for a new KIA they assured me that I would have no costs and no worries leaving them my Hyundai for return. I explained my concern that the Hyundai was not inspected for wear and tear but the assured me the car was clean and that as part of being a Hyundai company that it should be no concern that I might get charged. They held the car for over 30 days before returning it to Hyundai and I revived a Bill for close to $900 for damaged to the wheels from Hyundai. They refuse to take responsibility for the damage or the statements they made that I would not be charged. I also found out from Hyundai the KIA has not been a Hyundai Company for 2 years and Hyundai has only agreed to reduce the damage charges to about $600 based on my complaint. KIA Smithtown rarely returned my calls stalled me for months and then when I spoke to the salesman Justin Matinez he refused to accept responsibility. Strongly advise you stay away from this dealership. Kia Consumer Affairs also could not get this dealership to take accountability. Am still waiting for an answer from them as well.

I just leased a 2015 Kia Optima from Smithtown Kia and was very pleased with the salesperson (Adam) and the sales manager whom we worked with. The process of buying a car from them wasn't as bad as the other dealerships but there is still a bit of back and forth which I wish can someday be avoided (ala Saturn-pay one price). The overall experience was good, Adam didn't harrass us after we left to shop other cars around and was responsive every time we contacted him.The only negative to speak of was when we went to pick up the vehicle and the Finance Manager tried to play bait and switch. We signed the contract the previous day and agreed upon a price but when we got into his office he tried to jack up the price by $20/month (even pulled the "we are losing money on this car" line). I told him that I would cancel the deal and not pay a nickel more and after he went back and forth a few times (each trying to get me to pay more than we agreed upon) he finally came back with my oriingal deal. This left a bad taste in my mouth as my credit is high tier 1 and they shouldn't do this to customers.Not sure if I would reccomend this dealership based on that which is sad because everything else was pretty good.

Everything was going smoothly up until the point where we needed to get approval for a lease from the finance manager and the bank. There wasn't a major problem it just took a long time. The dealer told us we would probably be out in about an hour once we got there and it took over four hours. But the dealership and the staff was very friendly and I enjoyed my visit there.

Over the weekend I went to Smithtown Kia to price the Kia Optima's. The Salesman, Stephen Giorgio greeted me when I arrived. When I told him I was interested in the Optima, he showed me several different Kia Optima's on the lot and took the time to answer all my questions about the different features in the car. Was pleasantly surprised by not only how the Sorento rode, but the attention to detail. Great experience. I went in with a TrueCare price quote. Justin was great, very friendly and accommodating, even coming in on his day off for delivery(thank you!). Greg-Sales Mgr-fair and respectful. Finance Mgr almost slipped in an additional $595 fee which was not agreed to at time of sale-good that I noticed and that my sales contract was specific (he insisted that it was a standard fee(for the bank). I didn't budge and after speaking with someone, they honored the contract. He said "no one told him")-. Anyway, we love our new 2015 Kia Sorento and would recommend Justin and Smithtown Kia.Paul S

After being new to car leasing we put down a deposit then learned we were being completely ripped off... Okay no problem , expected it's car dealer. BUT the attitude we got after canceling, the immaturity , no way to run a business . I actually feel sympathy for these miserable people who have to live each day lying and ripping people off as a living . How they sleep at night , not sure but glad I can close my eyes an honest person without any missing in my pocket ! It's one thing to pull a wool over someone's eyes, another to be bitter once they smarten up. Crooked place . Oh they should also learn the laws !

I don't recommend Smithtown Kia Dealer to anyone due to the fact that when you sit with the finance dept. they make you feel unpleasant making you experience very bad and ugly by lying to your face and telling you that 2+2=5 is simple mathematics (price of monthly payments one day increase by $90.00 the next and increasing you payment by a year). BUYER PLEASE make sure before you sign anything they explain to you all the fine print and you get you true monthly payment on writing (BEFORE YOU SIGN ANY PAPERS) with the numbers of months you want to finance and the incentives that you qualified otherwise they will increase you payment and monthly payment and they will take away the incentives and tell you that you no longer qualified.True car should take this dealer out of their web site.

I did not have a great experience with this dealership - the manager was friendly and professional when I was in there but I was not happy with my interactions with my sales rep. or the offer the manager ultimately made. I left uncomfortable with how I was treated and how the incentives were represented to me. I ended up going with a Toyota from the owner's dealership down the road. I will say it was an odd day, there was an accident on the street and it affected the computers and blocked the parking lot, so maybe that had something to do it and my experience isn't indicative of how they usually do business.

I came to Smithtown Kia to look into buying the 2014 Kia Soul. I met Sales Manager Greg. He was really nice and I was surprised he wasn't what I expected, which was low as with some dealerships I've had in the past. I just assumed someone in this position might be pushy or... something. He was courteous and friendly. He asked me a few basic questions and referred me to Rick, my salesman. The conversation with Rick was exactly the same as Greg. He wasn't pushy but just friendly as if the sale of a car was second to making sure I had every question answered. I made it known I was looking at other brands and he seemed happy I had shopped around. After zeroing-in on the Soul and a basic model he didn't even try to steer me away for an up-sell. He got it quickly and that was fine with him. He is very easy going. I said I'd call him back in a couple of days after shopping further. On my way out the door Greg came by and asked if there was anything he could do for me and if I had any other questions or problems to call him direct.A few days later I called and told Rick we were interested in the model we looked at. We arranged an appointment to talk 'money'. I always do my homework for these types of purchases. When we got together again we discussed the price and it really _much_ lower than I thought, judging by what I had researched. On top of that he said there were other discounts and unfortunately I only qualified for one. After a little more discussion we settled and a much lower price than I thought I would get. Deal Done! There really wasn't an adversarial 'haggling' experience.I picked up my car today and Rick walked me through my new Soul. Just as I was leaving Greg came by to ask me if I had any questions or needed anything. I told him no. He said if there was anything that might up up just give him a ring. Rick said almost the exact same thing earlier. I was VERY happy with the whole shopping experience and the final signing of the paperwork/loan business etc. Smithtown Kia exceeded my expections. Bravo to them.

My lease was ending, My miles were over the agreement and there were two small dents (2 to 3 inches) in the rear hatchback. I fully expected that I would buy this car and not deal with negotiating a turn-in price. Gregory Carrion gave me a call and asked me to come in and he would give me his best price without any games. He is a man of his word. I sat down with Rich Edelson, my salesperson, and between him and Greg they came up with a price that made getting a 2015 a no brainer. One of my least favorite things is sitting down in a car dealership and buying a new car. These guys made it easy and I highly recommend both of them.

My experience with Jerry Mancini was FANTASTIC! I always purchase my vehicles used, so have been through this particular song and dance many times. I can jones toy say that I have never been to one dealership that I would consider returning to for my next vehicle, until my most recent experience. I left the dealership with a great deal, super low miles, and a smile on my face. Usually, when you buy a used car, you sign the papers and you leave with the car. Jerry went the extra mile. When I shook his hand to say thanks and went to get into my new(used) SUV, he said, with a great big smile on his face,"but wait, I want to tell you all about your new car!" and he did. He showed us how very feature worked, inside and out. He promised that if we had any questions he would be there to answer them, and I believed him. But, I decided to go into Smithtown Kia and I was so happy because they understood that I wanted to just learn about the cars, and thats all they helped me do. Appointments are required which means you don't wait forever. Warranty work completed quickly. Ok here goes! First in a nut shell...do not do business with Smithtown Kia located on middle Country Rd in St James N.Y. ( long Island) ! Heres why... bought a slightly used 2012 optima with about 16000 miles on it and picked it up September 18th 2012. While signing final paper work I noticed a charge of 2000 for " Profolio" which tuned out to be a extended warranty. At first I was annoyed cause instead of the finance guy asking me if i wanted it he just threw it on. After he explained all it covered I let it go. Exactly one week later I went back to cancel it after reading nothing but bad reviews on the warranty company. Well the finance guy then standoffish and it was oblivious he didn't want to cancel it.I stood fast and saidi don't want it and contract stated I had two months to cancel and get full pay back to back since it was rolled into loan. He got the cancelation forum and after I filed it out he stated it took six weeks to cancel. So I waited the six weeks a nd during those 6 weeks I called the warranty company to see if they got the cancelation from dealer and they stated they never received any thing at all on my car. So after the 6th week I called Roy the finance guy to see what's the deal. He said he had to get back to me after he contacted b their main office (wherever that may be). So after a week of me calling Roy and the general manager Anthony and of them never calling me back when they said they would I caked Kia customer service which like most people had said they do nothing but call the dealer for you. After another week Kia customer service called me to tell me the money was sent back to bank. ( This is mid December 2012 now) and I saw they only returned $875 of the $2000 they were supposed to. I called kia again and they said they'd call the dealer. Kia calls me and said the dealer would call me at New years cause now the guy handling my case at the dealer was out till then and kia was closing the case on their end cause it involved a third party ( the warranty company ). So of course after the new year i hear nothing from the dealer so I take them to small claims court in mid May. A man was there representing the dealer ( turns out to be the general Manager Anthony who is also a paralegal according to him) and he asks for a adjournment. So it's granted and the next and Final court date was June 6th. When the judge called my case Anthony said he wanted to settle. So we stepped into the lobby and he precedes to shake my hand and apologize and blamed the missing $1125 on the bank crediting the wrong account. So we signed a 15 day settlement that Smithtown kia would pay me the $1125 by June 22th cause according to Anthony "I've waited long enough". So this past weds the 19th still no check from this place that is like less than two miles from my house. So I called Anthony at the dealership and politely reminder him he had two days to pay me. He states "Oh the check was just cut and I made sure it was mailed out tues." So now it's the 21th and it doesn't take 3 days for mail to come from the next town over. So if I don't get the check Tomorrow (Sat) then I'm going Monday to the sheriff to start a bank execution since smithtown kia obliviously doesnt want to pay me 8 months after I canceled the warranty. I've told every and anyone who would listen not to buy from this crooked dealership would has bad reviews all over and a BBB rating of F!

What a great experience I had at Smithtown Kia. My sales Rep was Anthony Tamburro . As soon as I arrived Anthony greeted me and began to show me the vehicle I was interested in. We continued outside as I test drove the Kia Sorento. What a beautiful SUV ! Anthony spent the time to explain all the features of the car and how they work. Anthony had so much patience with me being that I was not very familiar with all the newest features. I also was so happy that he listened to what I was asking and what I wanted and he did not waste my time going back and forth with pricing. Our negotiating was simple and I really appreciated that. When I picked up my sorento Anthony spent even more time with me reviewing all the features and how to operate everything. I also met with Roy and had a pleasant experience going over finance. I was a loyal customer to Smithtown Kia. I personally purchased a Kia Rondo, Kia Sedona and Kia Sportage. I referred 5 other people to the dealership who purchased cars. (3 Sedonas, 1 Sorento, 1 Optima). I was ready to purchase a new Sedona when they come out later this year but will not do so. All I can say is there were some issues with an extended warranty that I was sold on my 2006 Kia Sedona. The issues were substantial enough that I immediately traded in my Sedona and leased a Town and Country. After trying for weeks to get the reimbursement for the residual value of the remainder of the extended warranty I have yet to be reimbursed. I was given the run around and when asked about any loyalty the customer was owed I was basically laughed at. A heated exchange between myself and the General manager took place via telephone with out getting anything resolved. T

Walking into Smithtown Kia, I already knew exactly which car I was looking for...I let them know that up front and they showed me to the car I had my eye on. I thought I was sold but my salesman asked if he could show me just one more, and he did and I loved it!! He was not pushy at all, just simply offered to show me and teach me about some other cars and when he did that i ended up finding a car that was even better for me than the one i intended to buy. My experience at Smithtown Kia was great. We were fortunate to work with Rick which made the process easy and fast. We drove from Queens because we had seen the great reviews on this dealership and they had the car I wanted. Rick was nice enough to wait for us even though we arrived almost as they were about to close. The entire team made the experience painless and was surprised how quick they were able to do it. My credit is less than perfect yet Rick looked for all the rebates that could possibly apply. They had everything ready and was able to pick up my car two days after, again waiting for me even though it was very close to closing time. Rick was not pushy, he listened and was very helpful.

bought a pre-owned 2004 kia amante in april, 2012. salesman, vic, was as accommodating as he could be; the car was in fine mechanical condition, but had no owner's manual. was told by vic and service dept. that i would have one within 2 weeks. after about 20 calls to the dealership...by now october, was told the manual is still on back-order. finally was told by service dept. that it would cost me $35 to get a manual and to call kia directly to get one. i called, and after several other calls i finally got a kia rep to make a copy of the manual---and received it in october---no thanks the service dept. at smithtown kia. NOW FOR WORST PART OF THIS PURCHASE SCENARIO: the infinity audio system (original amante installation) was fine for about one month after purchase; then it started skipping stations, bands, cd's...all on its own. made smithtown kia aware of this: was told the audio system was out of warranty and it was basically up to me to get it repaired or replaced. they offered no help in resolving this issue whatsoever. i called kia corporate, again no help. called harmon-kardon, infinity manufacturer... no help. THE BOTTOM LINE: GO TO A CAR AUDIO SUPPLIER/INSTALLER TO SEE IF I CAN GET AN AUDIO SYSTEM THAT WILL FIT IN THE DASHBOARD CONFIGURATION, WHICH I UNDERSTAND WILL COST A SMALL FORTUNE...and it's now mid-december, 2012.

Teresa Vasallo told us the day before we were going to arrive that the used car we were interested in was available. We informed her that we would be there the next day around noon. We drove 50 miles to get there. We waited 1/2 hour for the salesperson we were told would help us. The waiting area in the trailer had loud music. We then found out that the car we were interest in was sold and picked up several days earlier. GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER PEOPLE! We will never go there again!! This place is horrible.

I went to Smithtown Kia because I heard good things about the dealership from a friend. I was looking for a Kia Forte. After looking at the cars I saw a white Forte that I loved only to find out the car had been sold the day before. I was so disappointed; however, my salesperson, Mike Fisher, promised me that I would have the car that I wanted. The very next day Mike called and told me that my new car was on its way to the dealership. I really did not expect the car to look exactly like the first one I saw with all the added features, but it was. I couldn't believe it! Mike really went out of his way to make sure the car was perfect. He also took the time to walk me through all the features and explain each one.Additionally, the Business Manager, Roy Randazzo, was so nice and helpful. He worked with me to keep my payment exactly where I wanted it to be and carefully explained every document before I signed it - answering all of my questions along the way.I recommend Smithtown Kia as the place to go if you are looking for a new car. Victor is a horrible sales man. Bought a brand new car from him in Febuary it was at night time. So he offered a free detail to remove anything that was wrong. I bought the car to him in June left it there for hours just to have the car car washed not detail. Before I left I ask to speak to him and I was told by two different people that he left which was a lie cause I saw him with my two eyes that he was there he was in the back. Every Time you call to speak to him he nevers returns any call back. He would tell you what you want to hear but all he does is lie and so are his coworkers. Victor is horrible at what he does.

After speaking with a few people at Smithtown I got a good vibe. I went to a few other dealerships and didn't get as good of a vibe so I returned to Smithtown. The salesman who helped me was named Rick and he was a very nice guy who knew a lot about the vehicle. He was informative and nice. He helped me work out a deal that seemed fair to me. Charlie, the sales manager also helped in working out the bottom line to the deal and he was a nice guy as well. They both we straight shooters who weren't slinging any lies to try and get me into a car, they were upfront and honest about what was going to happen. We worked out a price that was below what I expected and was a great deal. To work out the finances and insurance I dealt with Dennis who was very helpful. Overall in this dealership you get the whole package. Everyone was nice and honest, which is all you can ask for in a car dealership. There was a friendly vibe to all the salesman, Rick especially. It's nice to be spoken to with respect and understanding. Other dealerships that I have dealt with in the past always seem to be vague and dishonest and telling me whatever they can to get me into a car and then the numbers not reflecting what I was told. Here at Smithtown Kia everything that was told to me, happened. I was dealt with respect, kindness and honesty and there is not much more I could ask for in buying a new car, which is a very stressful situation. Thanks!

Had my sorento serviced at smithtown Kia. They were able to diagnose and fix my car right away. It was easy to get an appointment, and there was no waiting time. Tom and bill in service were extremely helpful and accommodating. I will DEFINITELY be back for all of my service needs, and will recommend this dealer to all of my friends.

After a nightmare trip to Generation Kia on 112 in Medford, my wife and I decided to try this dealer. I saw the rating online and figured it was worth a trip. I'm glad we went a few miles out of our way, because these guys are good. The salesman, Mike, was an honest and down-to-earth guy and we were comfortable dealing with him from the beginning. The finance guru (Greg?)was the most friendly and professional finance person we ever came across at a car dealer. I checked out 3 cars before finding the one I wanted, and I'm very happy with it. I'm getting a lot of compliments about it too.I definitely recommend this place. Anyone that goes to Generation Kia instead of here should get their head examined...

MY wife and I were shopping for a KIA SOUL and had heard all the advertisements for THE BIG THREE KIA Dealerships. They were closer to my house and claimed to have $7000 in savings and a Free Flat Screen TV (like its really free). I left the a deposit on a car and when I went to pick it up not only were the numbers different, but the car they tried to give me was all together different. From the parking lot we called Smithtown KIA and spoke with Victor. He told us he had the car we wanted and that there would be no nonsense. We drove 25 miles that day and that night drove home with our Alien Green Soul! Better price no games & we got the 1st years maintenece included. Just a nice place to do business with nice people. My brother is now buying a Rio from them & I would recommend them to anyone.

I was helping my daughter buy a car because her credit numbers were low. We went to Smithtown first because it was closer to both our homes. We purchased a Kia Sorento from them, and gave them a $500.00 deposit. We were told five days later that they could not complete the sale because of the credit, even though I was co-signing and my credit is 790. I asked for my deposit back and was told the bookkeeper sends out refund checks on Thursdays (this was Tuesday), so I waited. Each week that passed I called them because I never got the check. Three weeks later I went in personally and asked for the Finance Manager. The receptionship called him, and then told me he was busy and can't see me now. I knew this was BS so I went directly back to his office. Busy? He was having a casual conversation with a salesman. I blasted him and his crooked dealership, and threatened to call Kia corporate offices. The check was in my possession by the weekend. I wouldn't deal with them under any circumstances. Competition Kia in Port Jefferson, NY on Route 112 is the place we went to receive great satisfaction.

This dealer deceived me during negotiations for a new vehicle. After taking a deposit and charging my card did we see the car we "bought " to discover that it was not close at all. It then took a MONTH to get the deposit back. It was originally indicated to us that it would have been done the following business day. I had to get the corporate office involved to assist in facilitating this. The pricing was not very competitive either. I would recommend not buying a vehicle from this dealer.

Atmosphere is everything in service departments these days. I have to say, the atmosphere in this service department is wonderful! The service advisors are friendly and proffesional, and seem to have great chemistry. Thier personalities and happy demeanor are contagious. I will NEVER bring my vehicle any where else! Steve and Michelle are great, and they are a huge asset to this corporation!

It all started with the appointment phone call when I spoke with Michele. She was not only courteous and professional on the phone, but in person as well.
