Update Review: We recently purchased a new 2020 Traverse from Ed Mallory. He was great to work with and was very helpful. Great teamwork and this Chevrolet dealer has become my family’s go to service dealer. They drive over 20 miles to get their cars serviced here and I will definitely be referring other friends and family to go here. ============= This is my “go to “ dealer for all the repairs on my corvette. I just picked up my car for a warranty service repair of the differential. Jonathan Savage helped me get my differential replaced in record time😇 He was on top of everything and provided updates constantly. Pam and Dean were also awesome. 👍🏻 Thank you all for all the help. Great service!!! I can always count on you guys. =================== Got a flat tire and Jessica was able to get the tire replaced quickly. Awesome service as always. Jonathan was my service writer, and as before he carefully takes the time to explain everything and answer all questions. I called him the day before to make an appointment to bring in my Vette. Although I would be picking up the car at the very end of the day, Jonathan called me at about 10:30 am to tell me that everything was fine with my car, and the work was complete, ready to pick up any time. I am extremely neurotic about this Vette, and your dealer is probably only one of a couple of places I would choose to take it for service. Thanks for the excellent experience (again!)...

My Tahoe was towed to your dealership due to electrical problems. I was met by Jonathan Savage and immediately was provided service. Mr. Savage made sure of my diagnostics, history of vehicle maintenance, his immediate thoughts and a promise to call me when Chevrolet diagnoses were performed so repairs/corrections could be done quickly. Within approximately a two hour period from when the Tahoe was towed to the dealership, Mr. Savage called me twice: first to inform me the battery was fried; and second that the alternator was dead. We agreed to the needed repairs and their costs during our conversations. The vehicle was repaired and has shown no signs of pre-repair problems. Mr. Savage is a very personable, professional and dynamic person that Chevrolet should be proud to have and hopefully to award.

I've only had my car for 5 days so I may be premature (let's hope not) but so far, I have been very happy with my car and with the assistance I received at Simi Valley Chevrolet. I worked with Abilene, Joe, Edward and Tom on the sales side and Maricela on the Finance side. Everyone has been lovely, no wasted time haggling back and forth. I needed to return twice (nothing wrong with the car, just needed to bring in paperwork) and both times everyone has been so nice.I had one tiny service issue (tire pressure monitor light) and the guy in service took care of it in 5 minutes.I love to write reviews, so if I end up having any negative experiences, I will update this review. However, my first instinct is that these are good people and you will be treated right.

Don has always been great! He helped replace an engine and transmission on my Trailblazer a few years ago. I had my Camaro SS serviced on Veterans Day and got a nice discount. Don thanked me for my service and I thanked him for his. Only once I returned home from that meeting did I notice that since I was in the Army from 1969 to 1975 Don was the first and only person to thank me for my service in almost 40 years. Heat of summer and my air conditioner went out while driving from Las Vegas to Simi Valley. Due to it being Labor Day weekend I had to wait until the 8th to have it looked at. This survey annoys me because #1 I kept getting bothered by continuous emails to take this survey when I didn't want to do it. I decoded it was easier just to take it and get you guys offMy back. #2, I was forced into checking the box to contact me when I don't want to be contacted. That is completely unacceptable forcing the customer to check that box. #3 once again being forced, to type at least 50 characters in this this field.Now that I'm on a roll here's the truth about my experience. I checked all 5's because I know anything less is a hit against the dealer. The gentleman who helped me in service looked like he was bothered being at work and helping me. I was droping my truck off for a recall repair, I also asked for the driver side power folding mirror to be looked at. It had recently been folded backward ever so gently and slowly but none the less folded backward. When I dropped it off the mirror was folding every time even tho it was jerky, but folding ever time. So when I picked up my truck he mentioned it was $750 to repair it, and the mirror now does not work at all. Now a past experience I had. My catalytic needed to be replaced, luckily my mileage was just below the California emissions warranty so it was replaced for free. But when I picked up my truck the passenger side power folding mirror did not work at all, also there were greasy fingerprints on my dashboard cluster and my gps antenna was no longer foam double side taped to the top of the dash, It was just sitting there. It surprised me that the dashboard was removed in order to replace my catalytic. I immediately called the service department about my mirror and was told probably just needs to be re-synced but no one was there to help me with the process until Monday. I researched it online and fixed it myself. But, the mirror was never the same, it was jerky and here and there did not fold at all. A few years later when I had a engine lifter problem. A known problem with the trucks I believe we spent $3000 on the repair, I asked for them to also look at the mirror and it was repaired for free and worked perfectly after that. I know the part at issue was replaced. So here is my story with the Simi Valley Chevy dealer. I know I will not be going back there again. I will drive further and go into the valley next time. I hope this gets read by the correct people and not just deleted because it's negative. But I've left all the 5's alone.

I took my vehicle in for in-warranty servicing; at that time the representative told me of a manufacturer recommended service, which I approved. I was offered a ride home, but chose to remain. The time I spent waiting was reasonable: the oil and filters changes were completed, a noise complaint was investigated but could not be duplicated, and I understood when I was told the part was not available to correct the problem at that time. So I will be receiving a call when the part is received and take my car back to complete the repair. The waiting area was relatively comfortable; coffee, water and donuts for free; TV with some morning show. I did go outside and there was seating in various areas; the restroom was nearby and clean. Each person I spoke to was friendly, pleasant, informative; additionally the service representative that completed the call stressed the importance of checking multiple items (trying to duplicate my noise complaint) for safety reasons; even those I only had eye contact with smiled. All-in-all, not a bad experience especially considering the facility is undergoing construction. Thank you!

I had my two boys with me and really didn't want to sit in the waiting room with them for that long. So the offered to take us to the mall for lunch. I was going on a fishing/camping family trip on the 9th of July and my check engine light came on 2 days before. So I took it into simi valley chevy and Don in the service dept. took care of me. My 2012 truck was coming to the end of it's 3 year/36 mile warranty. I wanted the door frame rubber seal replaced (worn out from my foot hitting it) before the end of the warranty. My truck also has a slop in the transmission when accelerating after slowing down for a turn. This is a common issue reported in my year truck. I asked if there were any new fixes for this issue. They gladly looked into the problem and removed and lubed the driveshaft. I didn't expect this and it has helped the problem. I was very happy with the service and they had it completed in a day.

I took my 2012 Volt in for a recall repair after making an appointment earlier in the week. When they looked up my car, Jonathan Savage advised that there were several other recall repairs that needed to be taken care of. I stressed the importance that I must have my car back by the end of the day because I was going out of town. He assured me it wouldn't be a problem. Sure enough, my car was ready on time. I was very satisfied with the service I received from Jonathan but really loved the fact that they washed my car before I picked it up! :)

The gentlemen in the service department are amazing!!!! They listen to the issues, ask questions and don't treat me like some dumb female who knows nothing about cars. I travel from West Hollywood to Simi Valley just to go to this dealership! They are ALWAYS friendly, helpful and I feel like a valued person. They ended up needing to keep my car for 3 days to get the correct programming upgrade for my MyLink, but got me a swell rental to use while they had my car. The dealer which I purchased from ( Silver Star) the service dept. seemed that they were doing me a favor servicing a 77k car I purchased from them. I went to Simi Valley Chevrolet and Ray went out of his way to take care of me. I had follow up calls from the dealership to make sure my experience was good. All the employees I have had contact with truly care that you are happy.I now take all four of my cars to them including non Chevrolets for service and they also beat Pep Boys and Firestone in pricing.

I actually walked through the doors of this dealership with little to no expectations (but high hopes!) of driving off in a new car. I had several issues which could impede the process: Not so great credit, was upside down on my car loan and only able to pay an additional $20-$30 more per month over what I was paying for the car I had at the time. I am pleased to say that due to the diligence of both Jerry--For helping me find the car of my dreams at a reasonable price, and Daniel--For working so earnestly to secure financing with a payment that I could work with (which included a service contract-giving me added peace of mind), I was able to drive off the lot that night in a brand new Chevy Camaro! Previous to purchasing my Chevrolet, I purchased/drove only Nissan cars for over 15 years (6 new Nissan cars in that time span). I am very loyal to a brand, as long as they provide a great product and excellent customer service/support. From what I've experienced so far, they have provided both! Purchasing a new car that was not a Nissan was a difficult decision for me, as I have said, I am very loyal to a brand; However, the Camaro is just an amazing machine-So much so, that I was compelled to step outside my box and purchase one, and I am beyond glad that I did! I could not be more pleased with the people at Simi Valley Chevrolet who were involved in making this deal happen; They were very friendly, knowledgeable, professional and beyond helpful. Because of the treatment and service I have recieved from S.V. Chevrolet, they have earned my business and loyalty! In fact, there is a Chevrolet dealership just a few miles from my home (Thousand Oaks), but I prefer to service my car, and will continue to do so, in Simi Valley (which is a good 20 miles away). Now, that alone says a lot! So thank you for a beautiful car, as well as the amazing service. I'd say this experience was a win-win for all of us!

For the second time in a row, this dealer failed to fill up the windshield washer reservoir on my car. It can hold nearly a gallon of washer fluid, and only a few days after having the service, I tried to wash the windshield and the reservoir was completely empty. This makes me wonder what else the dealer did not do that they were supposed to do. Also, no inspection checklist was provided at time of checkout, so I really don't know much about the status of various systems and equipment on my car. Since Simi Valley Chevrolet took over this dealership, the service check-in procedures have become pretty disorganized. There is no one outside to acknowledge your arrival when you get there. The customer must go inside the parts office to find a service representative, but usually they are busy or on the phone. So there is no one there to help you establish your place in line. On the day I brought my car in, there were only two service desks in operation. (I think there is a total of three.) When both service reps are on the phone, which is frequently, no customers who have come to the dealership in person get any help.

Brought my 2005 Trailblazer in for regular service. I reported that the battery had to be jump started the previous day. Along with the service, the battery was checked and determined that it had a bad cell. The battery was replaced. I picked it up late on Thursday. On Friday I noticed that the air conditioner was blowing hot air out of the driver's side vents. Called service on Saturday, and was told to bring it in on Monday or Tuesday. Returned the car early on Monday to have it checked. Service determined that the temp control was not operating. It was replaced but the AC still did not work properly. Several other actions were tried but did not work. Finally two actuators had to be replaced. It took 3 more days but works now. Very expensive. - over $1400, plus battery and service $144. Positives: Received discounts on the battery and AC work. My only negatives: Had to reset the clock, navigator set up, etc. Car was released with AC not working. Would recommend that vehicles be checked out more thoroughly after repairs before returning them to the owner.

I took a leap of faith in purchasing an electric car. I don't know how it will turn out, but my hopes are high. I've had the car for a month now and have been using almost no gas. It's fun to drive and I find that it eases the tension I usually feel on my long daily LA commute. Buy the car was easy and pleasant. I purchased it, with the help of a friend, through Simi Valley Chevrolet. The salesman and woman that I dealt with were pleasant, even fun I would say. There is a lot to learn about this high tech car and I'm still trying to catch up to all the ins and outs but getting into the car and off of the lot was as easy and pleasant as it is to drive the thing.
