Overall I had a great experience with the sales guys. i did not feel pressured at all. I actually ended up having three of the staff help me and they were all knowledgeable and professional. There was a 90 minute wait for the finance guy , who I did not care for at all. He was way too pushy and I felt completely intimidated by him. Originally, I had been told that I would have no payments for 45 days. The finance guy proceeded to give me my payment plan with three payments in August. When I tried to explain the 45 day promise, he completely brushed me off saying, "you'll have it paid off quicker!" I did not appreciate his sales style.

We received a letter from Russ Darrow in regards to purchasing a new vehicle. As the letter did not pertain to the Sorento that we were presently driving, had great experience with it as we had 120,000 miles on it and had no problems with it, original brakes, etc. We decided that we would like to purchase another Sorento with about the same things on it. We finally purchased a 2017 with a few more bells & whistles on it, and at this time we are enjoying it very much. We just returned from a trip to Mo. and had no issues with it. At the present time we are very pleased with our new Sorento.

So far so good. No complaints. Salespeople were not high pressure. Used car, car fax. Test drive. Follow up is coming with oil change and touch up with matching paint. Financing extras needs more specific explaining, financing person seemed a little high pressure and in a "hurry". Follow up by salesperson very prompt. Over all , car has performed well. Smooth transaction and everything was explained.

I Went here because they had the exact car I was looking for, and for a decant price. Went for a test drive liked the car went thru the financing process which took ALL day I was at the dealer from 9am till 7pm after getting approved I drove my new car home that night! And was told to just go to the dmv to switch my plates as I live in Illinois but purchased the car in Wisconsin after being told at the dmv I will have to pay $120 for title transfer and plate transfer I was quite surprised then I Get a check in the mail a few days later for I had no Idea what, come to find out it was for my sales tax that was never paid so had to go back and forth with the dealer and dmv on what to do as they had no idea what they were suppose to do but they have no problem selling cars to people out of state then I also found out they ran my credit thru over 8 different banks after I told them strictly when signing the credit app do not run it more that 2/3 times because every time they run it it damages your credit so now my credit score went down over 40 points because of these xxxxxxxx I will never go to russdarrow Kia again they ruined my credit and made my first car buying expirence a nightmear

Salesman was very up to date about the Kia Optima. I had to put out another $278 for a spare tire, and why doesn't a jack also come with vehicle. Waiting to hear from salesman regarding a jack. Not very happy about having to put out more money, & should have been told it was not included or in my trunk.

Went in to discuss further pricing. My girlfriend was already leasing a vehicle from them and was looking to upgrade to the most recent year. Ask the guy at the front desk if we could step somewhere in private to speak. He refused, so we began to discuss In the showroom at the front desk. Any debating points we brought up were immediately dismissed and ignored. An apparently since I wasn't buy the car, I was unallowed to speak on the matter. He literally asked me "who are you", "are you buying the car", "well you don't know anything" in a very confrontational matter. Walked out and other salesman were making rude remarks. Most unprofessional not just dealership but business I've ever witnessed.

So my wife and I saw a minivan we were interested in purchasing on both their website and cars.com I called and asked if the vehicle was available and to make an appointment to test drive. Once after getting a babysitter and going to the dealership we asked for who I spoke with and never saw by the way but none the less we were able to inspect the vehicle. After looking at the minivan for 10 minutes the salesman helping us came out and apologized but that van had sold on Saturday, this is now Monday at 425pm. I said that was ok but when I called earlier I was told that there were more of the same make and model around the same age and price for my viewing. These other vehicles didn't exist not do I believe that the vehicle I was viewing ever was sold. From the moment I heard that this van was sold almost 3 days prior I felt something was not right. I will never go to a Russ Darrow dealership for any of my future purchases nor will I ever recommend anyone else. The tactics used to get people into the door and then switch up the vehicle due to it being "sold" is something I would expect from a back alley dealer not a major dealership. This is the behavior that gives salesman a bad name.

I went into Russ Darrow Kia to test drive a KIA Sportage. I had 5 cars that I was looking at and the Sportage was the last one on my list. From the moment I sat down with the salesman, Dennis Cardinal, I had the feeling that he wasn't interested in talking to me. I was upfront with every dealer that I visited, telling them that I was looking at 5 cars and was test driving each that day to narrow my choices. I wasn't going to be making a decision to buy on that visit. As soon as Dennis heard that, he completely turned off. I told him that I had previously owned a Kia Sportage and he told me that it was a piece of junk; that they were much better now. I really liked my old Sportage so this took me by surprise. I had to pull every piece of information out of him; he never offered anything. I told him what I wanted on the vehicle, and then I had to listen to him tell me why I didn't really need it. He kept trying to talk me into a cheaper version than what I wanted. When we went for the test drive, he never explained what anything was on the interior of the car. Again, I had to ask all questions. He made numerous xxxxxx comments about what features were important to "women" drivers, etc. which was not what I was interested in. When we got back to the dealership, I said "Let's talk pricing" and he flat out refused to discuss price with me. He said, you aren't ready to buy so it's too early to talk price. I said that my decision making was based on reviews of the vehicles, test drive and pricing. He told me when you make up your mind, you can bring your husband back in with you and we can discuss price. THAT WAS IT! I will never walk back into that dealership and I will make sure that I let everyone on social media know how badly I was treated. I did buy a vehicle - a Nissan Rogue from Gordie Boucher in Greenfield. They know how to deal with female customers. Too bad that Russ Darrow Kia missed out on a $30K sale.

I was in the market to replace my aging SUV and found exactly what I was looking for at Russ Darrow Kia. The salesman was very polite and pleasant and did not pressure me into buying anything other than what I came for. I was given a very fair trade-in price for my old vehicle, and drove off in my "new" used 2013 SUV. The experience at Darrow was very positive, and I'd highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a decent and fairly-priced used vehicle.

had a recent bad experience at the kia dealership in waukesha wi. Waited over 3 and a half hours while my vehicle was looked over for a emisions test repair. Customers behind me cars were repaired and I received no answer. When i was contacted by a service advisor instead of fixing my problem they wrote up a bill of over $5000.00 Worth of repairs and they caused a leak in my vehicle from my our car 1 hour after I left the dealership. Terrible service from this dealership. I would highly recommend that any Afro Americansdo not use this dealership for service to their vehicles. The service manager was rude to me. I would never purchase a vehicle their nor would i recommend them to anyone else. My vehicle was purchased their and for that reason i expected decent service. The service was extremely poor.

On 11/20/14 I purchased a 2008 Pontiac G6 Convertible from Russ Darrow Kia in Waukesha. During the purchase they gave me one key and one key fob. When I asked where the other key was the sales manager laughed at me and said it could be anywhere and you can download the owners manual (all 412 pagesto fill up my glove compartment)) on the internet (should have stopped the deal right there!). Brought the car home and the turn signals hung in the on position, the fog lamps didn't work and there was a light out on the rear trunk lid. Brought the car back on Tuesday and the fixed the fog lamps and they said the signals are fine (common problem with a G6, actuator on the turn signal wears cost of actuator any autoparts store $28-32) and it was too expensive to replace the rear light assembly (I found it at 3 aftermarkets shops for $24-32) I drove away. Saturday 11/22 I was stuck on the side of the hy-way with a blown transmission. Got a tow to a transmission place and the guy said he'd check it out on Sunday(today). Guess what....Not one drop of transmission fluid in the case. Cost of repairs anywhere up to $2.500. Would I recommend this place? Not if they gave me $1000.00!

This place is a complete and utter joke of car dealership. I've been searching for a Lincoln MKZ hybrid and happened to stumble across a used one that was being sold by Russ Darrow KIA. A gentleman named Troy contacted me and was extremely professional and kind, something I don't hear from every dealer. I explained my trade in situation and we exchanged emails and phone calls over the course of 5 days. They were trying to give me the best trade in deal possible but they would not budge on their selling price. I was very upfront with Troy on my max finance amount with $x amount down. However I made the mistake of continuously moving my max up when they wouldn't budge on their asking price at all. The most they were able to do was add a $1000 to my trade in but their vehicle asking price was about $3k higher than competitors. When it came down to it I discussed the deal with my fiance and said we would do the deal if we could get 1.9% financing. Troy said he would submit everything to financing and see what they can do. Halfway through the day I never heard back and received an offer from another dealership I could not refuse. I immediately emailed Troy to cancel and that's where everything went downhill. You would think his family's life depended on this sale with how unprofessional he was. Here are just a few excerpts from his email responses to me. "The vehicle is the best price in a 500 mile radius", "I don't understand why I have expended so very much of my time on this for you to say no to something based on information that you already knew". He then had the nerve to tell me that he is no longer interested in doing business with me when I already canceled the deal I the first place, I guess he had to save face somehow. When I responded about his lack of professionalism his last response was "congratulations, watch out for those branded and washed titles down there in illinois". I'm sure any dealership would love to have this piece of work on their staff (sarcasm!). It's obvious that they lack ethics and professionalism and will do everything they can to make a sale. When the sale doesn't go their way they will then throw a temper tantrum.

I had a great car buying experience up until I walked into Russ Darrow Kia of Waukesha. I fell in love with a used car. I had them appraise my trade in and they low balled me! They offered me HALF of what several other dealerships had offered. I tred to negotiate with them on the price to make up for what they took off the trade. However, they wouldn't listen. If they had given me the same amount as the other dealer I would have bought the car that day! Needless to say, that I Didn't get the car. So now i am heartbroken and disappointed. This dealer is by far the WORST to deal with. I bought 2 cars the first one I was lied to about the actual mileage when we purchased so they offered to refund our down payment as compensation. Along with signing a release that we would not discuss any of the issues outside the dealer including media. The second chicle has had issues that I brought to there attention and was told oh you need an appointment. Well once the appointment came it was no longer having that issue. Well everything is fine now. If they would have looked at it the first time it could have been addressed. Then they did an oil change and failed to put the cap on for the oil filter and ran it. They did not tell me so when I got home my car left a large puddle underneath of oil. So after hours of pressure washing the underside and driveway the oil is now gone. Once again they want a release signed stating they are now longer liable for damage. This release is vague in nature. My grandson is graduating from high school soon and I was looking for a vehicle for him as a graduation present. I located a vehicle I was interested in on their internet site so I called and set up a visit with their salesman John Beloitti. I arrived on time per our appointment and Johntalked to me for awhile then brought the vehicle forward for a test drive.After a successful drive we negotiated a price acceptable to both parties and we closed the providing my daughter accepted it. One week later my daughter looked at the vehicle and accepted it. I requested that Russ Darrow store it until I could pick it up the following week. They said they would be glad to store it and it would be in a locked up area. I might add that they had 3 or 4 more requests to buy this vehicle but they stated that it was SOLD.I believe we were treated very professionally and Russ Darrow went the extra distance to satisfy their customers.Norm Larson

He was great to deal with, certainly not pushy, but was able to explain various aspects of the vehicle and the sale to me in a manner I felt was very professional.
