Terrible customer service in regards to the finance representatives at River Watch Car Sales. My boyfriend John financed a car with a high credit score, signed the paperwork, got the T-shirt, rang the bell, brought the car home. Next day they asked him to return it because he didn’t have “enough” open lines of credit. They tried to sell him an Avalanche 2009 with 80,000 that had been wrecked in place of a 2016 Platnium Expedition. Who’s in charge here? This place is running a scam. Every vehicle we looked at had been previously wrecked or was involved in flood damage. Rims busted. None of the cars had both sets of keys. All cars had over 80,000 miles and ranged in year from a 2009-2016. We tried to buy from a local dealer. We should’ve read the other reviews before pursuing a car. Best to go somewhere else.

I recently contacted this dealer about a 1994 Ford F-150 that they had, and still have, on their lot. The pictures made it out to be a very nice truck, and the description said that the truck was, and I quote, “Completely Restored!” So I called Rob and asked him about the truck. He was helpful with information, but not much came from the conversation. The one thing I was told was that this 188,000 mile truck had the original transmission. Now, I don’t know what your definition of “restored” is, but mine is at least a rebuilt transmission. “COMPLETELY restored” only means one thing, so this is technically false advertising. I did decide to go look at it in person anyway, and I was quite disappointed. The truck had scratches all throughout the paint, the left quarter panel was dented slightly, and the body wasn’t even straight. (Pin striping didn’t line up on passenger side.) Once again, that’s about the polar opposite of restored. I then proceeded to call Rob back and ask him if he’d be willing to negotiate the price a little, but he said he can’t come off the $8,599 at all. Now I’ve had my fair share of experience around these trucks, and that was NOT $8,599 sitting in front of me. A much better condition truck with between 80,000-100,000 miles is worth the $8,500 range.

I bought a car from this location and the same night the car ran hot and I notified them on this issue and they told me to check the fluids, which I don’t understand I should have to do the first after I wrote them a check for about 13,000. It still ran hot every other day and the heat blew out cold air so I figured it was the thermostat and about four days later the check engine light came and I told them about all of this issue again and they took the car back and told me to come and pick it up three days later and they ensured me that everything was fine. A week later not only did the car still ran hot and the check engine light came back on for an coolant temperature sensor. So we asked them what did they fix when the car was returned to them and they said they just tightened a wire over the course of three days of them having it. Also the car has a lot of rust under the vehicle. Until this day it still continues to run hot......
