Garrett Williams was amazing to work with.. when what I wanted wasn’t at the dealership, he didn’t stop working until he found exactly what I was looking for ( which he managed to do very quickly) and had it up from Wilmington in a matter of hours! His customer service skills are like nothing I’ve ever experienced when buying a car in the past.. he is super attentive and you can tell he genuinely wants to get you the best deal possible... this is not the first time I have used him to buy a vehicle, nor will it be the last. I highly recommend going to city and requesting to work with Garrett:)

Stopped by at City Chevrolet to see what they had in Malibu’s. I knew what I was looking for. Chris Sykes and Garret Williams introduced themselves and took me right to the options they had on the lot. They were easy to work with. They mentioned the different finance options and all the discounts available to me. I wasn’t sure I would purchase today but they made the offer too good to pass up. We had a great experience dealing with the sales staff. We made a trip down from several hours away, and arrived later than expected, and they were 15 minutes from closing. They welcomed us in, no questions asked. We ended up purchasing a vehicle, and didn't leave the dealership until after 11pm. Alex N and Nicholas G were there through the duration of the purchase along with a couple of others, and were very accommodating through the whole process. We would go back again, and recommend this lot to anyone. Love our Suburban BTW.

The customer service her is awful!!!!! After spending all day on Saturday with them, pretty much making a deal just waiting on some repairs, they NEVER called me back after multiple voice mails and calls. They finally call back AFTER i posted a review on Facebook. Stated that the car I wanted would not be available because of a n airbag recall... so you put a car on the lot, that was not available... sounds legit. After they called me back they asked me to remove my facebook post, and post that they called me back..... This is an awful place, the Manager Bryan is super super rude and talks you like trash. While we were there 3 people walked out because they were so rude. I guess that should have been my warning sign. I am posting everywhere how awful this place is, so they are warned!

my problems came after the purchase of my used cargo van. i was to bring it back to have a small dent above the rear wheel fixed after the fact as well as have a door handle added to the cargo interior door. on the way home, the seal around the windshield blew loose and dragged wet glue across the top of the van. no problem.when i took it back 2 wks later on a wed for what i was told was a 2-day repair, it sat from wed til fri in the collision dept waiting for a form from the sales dept saying they would pay for the repair. i was never called until thurs at 6pm. then fri turned into mon turned into tues wed and then thurs before it ever got out of collision. i was speaking with the mgr of used car sales and the mgr of collision, but nothing sped that along. ok. so since thurs until today (which is a full 13 days after i dropped my van off), i was able to pick up my van. they had told me last fri., then yesterday when i called at 4 they said this morning. THEY HAD NEVER EVEN ORDERED THE DOOR PART. they went to pick it up this morning. from the beginning, i had asked that they make sure the door part was there so it wouldn't hold up anything. AND it was supposed to have been ordered 4 wks ago when i bought the van. no one knows what's going on there. no one helps. they all say they're sorry, but do nothing to stop the problems once they start piling up. i would NOT recommend buying from them.

I had a wonderful experience at Rick Hendrick Chevrolet. Dave and Milos went above and beyond to help make it a great experience. They made the experience pleasant and never pressured me into buying a car. They were very friendly and took extra time to make sure I knew how to use all the features that came with the car. Ayana was very sweet. She worked the whole time with a smile on her face. I appreciate her taking the time to explain everything to us. It was overall a wonderful experience. Thanks!!!! I had driven my old car for ten years. I was not knowledgable about the new technologies. Our salesman answered all of our questions and made the buying process very comfortable. I preferred leather seats, and our salesman assured me they could be installed and not look like an after market addition. I was concerned about the look, but once I chose the leather and it was installed I was very pleased with the end result. Thank you for answering all my questions through out the entire process.

City Chevrolet has a large selection of vehicles to choose from. My first truck I picked out on line was not available when I arrived for my scheduled appointment, but the dealer had access to two more that were close to what I really wanted. We were able to negotiate a fair price after a misunderstanding on the sales contract, the sales manager went out of his way to make sure we finished the purchase. I was able to pick up my new truck on time even though we had some small communication errors on two add on's . I ended up with essentially a free spray in bed liner that I had not requested. Yea!

Picked out new 2016 truck from their web store. Called and checked on Ava of truck I wanted. Drove to dealership only to find the truck I ask about was damaged and not for sale. Found another one and they did give me a good price but , I Ask for seat heaters like would be OEM since the first choice had them and also ask for simple drop in rubber mat for truck bed. Instead they spray coated the bed with bed liner and put a cheap seat heater in that does not nearly replicate the function that GM OEM has. Now I need to drive an hour back to the dealership to see if they have any other truck I would want. I know they gave me a good deal, but these folks don't listen to what you are saying. The sales managers are in a locked glass cubical, the sales people operate off of cocktail style tables with no where to really talk. I hate buying a car worse than ever. I guess thT is why I don't do it but once every 10 years.

Found a Wrangler that met all the requirements I was searching for. I contacted online to set up appointment to look at vehicle in person. When contacting online you are not necessarily talking to anyone at the dealership- FWIW.I drove 1.5 hours to get to dealership and was 15 minutes late for my scheduled appointment & had to wait 30 minutes for a sales rep to come greet me. I am assuming there was never anything scheduled as no one seemed to know I had an appointment at the front desk. Fortunately I got Patrica Tate as my rep. She was quick to get the process started & I gave her all the information to get trade value appraisal for my vehicle. Once inspecting the Jeep & getting the keys it was disappointing to discover it was completely out of gas & wouldn't even start. Patricia to the rescue grabbed a gas can & personally walked over to gas station to get the gas & carry it back to vehicle. Got vehicle started & did short test drive & everything was as expected. Liked the vehicle, proceeded to sales manager for haggling/ negotiation. Was quick process I told him where I needed to be on my trade ( was only $500 less than expected) & gave me a reasonable number for the purchase vehicle. Whole process 15 minutes.Finance took a considerable amount of time- over an hour was closer to 2 hours.Dealership closed at 8:00 pm we did not get out of there until almost 11:00 pm. Thanks to all who stayed after hours to complete the sale.I purchased vehicle with 1 key & was told they would look for other key or see if previous owner still had it. Couple days I called back to ask about spare key. This is where Patricia really came through for me. She contacted owner & he told her spare key was with one of his last 2 ex-wives. She got the contact information & called both of them. The one who had the key would not agree to bring it to dealership so Patricia drove 1.5 hours to retrieve the key for me. She dropped it in the mail & I had it 2 days later.Overall 5 star experience, seek out Patricia Tate if you want to get top level service. Call the dealership directly vs doing anything online- Hopefully Finance is much quicker when fully staffed vs buying after hours.

The tire pressure sensor light came on indicating low tire pressure, so I brought the car in to have the tire checked and have the light reset. It was checked and patched after a nail was found in the tire. I was in and out in less than 30 min. I'm always treated fairly when I come into the service department.

I have purchased two Corvettes from City Chevrolet and had a great experience each time. Once was online and I got a fair quote for my vehicle. Once I arrived a few days later to complete the transaction, they even upped the price because my trade-in was in such great condition. Very friendly and knowledgeable sales people that seem genuinely willing to help put you in the right vehicle at the right price. An even better experience at City is the service department. I have had minor work completed in paint/body and even that exceeded my expectations. Lastly, the service department is top notch and the service advisors are very professional. Twice I have taken my car in for service, asked them to check the brakes since they were squeaking and both times I was told the brakes were fine and did not need replacing. How many repair shops would have made an unnecessary repair? Not City - great service with a high degree of integrity. That is hard to beat in this day and age. I would highly recommend them.

I am a semi-retired person (currently teaching business management courses online, but have trained face to face "customer service" attributes for a multinational corporation for 25 years) who appreciates the personal monitoring of my service needs. Saverio calls me to remind me of certain service requirements. When I asked for an inspection too, he very quickly added the inspection of my vehicle to the actual service of the fuel injectors on my Malibu, showing me the process of how it goes to the DMV automatically, which is a big weight off my shoulders....everyone should be so competent.

Best car buying experience I have ever had. Tim Dobbins is the man to see if you are in the market for a new vehicle. Tim was available 24/7 while searching for the right vehicle. They transferred the exact vehicle I wanted from another dealership. They spent the time to make sure I got the vehicle I wanted rather than pushing something different they may have had available on the lot. The finance department was also incredibly friendly. They went out of their way, and made a call to the bank so that I would receive 0% financing. The next time I am ready to buy a vehicle I won't consider going to any other dealership.

Travis Boone was my service adviser and he did an excellent job of explaining the work that was done and it was done in a reasonable time. Sold me 4 new tires at the best price I could fine after shopping around at all the tire dealers in town. My wife and I had an awesome experience. Even with a not so great credit score, Maynor went above and beyond finding us a vehicle to get us into. Even when we left the dealership in disappointment he continued to search without us knowing. And he found us a 2007 Impala the very next morning. We came back to City Chevrolet because of Shane. Rick Accurso receives my life-time achievement award (so far!) for exceptional service. This is based on at least 40 new car purchases and counting! My journey for a new car custom built took several months and Rick worked most appropriately through the selection of the model and equipment build determination. The process of manufacturing and delivery was great. The months leading to delivery of the first 2016 was "second to none." Even factory delivery a few years ago did not top this outstanding service. I will be surprised if the follow up after delivery this week is not of the same caliber. He will get my next order in a few months.

My wife and I recently purchased a 2013 Chevrolet Equinox from Hendrick City Chevrolet. We drove up from Columbia SC on a Sunday afternoon (which was great to begin with, considering my busy military schedule) and we where not disappointed. The sales rep was EXTREMELY helpful and friendly, definitely made made us feel comfortable about our purchase. We later delt with an excellent financial advisor who was great to work with and also worked with us to get the best rate possible on our new vehicle. Saverio Longobardo was my service representative and I could not have been more pleased with the way he handled everything. He takes the time to listen to what my vehicle is experincing, explain why something needs fixed, how I can prevent it in the future, and most importantly I trust what his reccomendations are. He does not try to "oversell" anything and seems to be very concious of what my vehicle needs and why it needs it. Had some body damage to my Miata, and asked my Nationwide agent what shop does the best work in Charlotte. They told me they never get any complaints about City Chevrolet's work so that's where I went. The Repair Rep Markus Lane was outstanding, and I was amazed at the customer service. The repair estimate was less than another well-known body shop. I received a phone call daily letting me know the status of the repair, and the finished product was perfect. Everyone in the office was very professional and polite. You could tell that "customer service (and satisfaction)" is apparently a company priority. I have lived in Charlotte since 1973, and had a fair amount of body work done on various vehicles (mostly created by my six children) but City's service and work are the best that I have experienced.

I really enjoyed the experience we had when purchasing our 2014 Tahoe. Shauna and Adam were great. They made the process easy to understand and pretty much hassle free. The only confusion we had was I was lead to believe we would get a full detail and full tank of gas. Well we got the Full Detail but was informed that you guys do not top off gas for pre-owned vehicles. I was fine with that if I was told that from the beginning. But Shauna our sales person lead me to believe we would receive both and we did not. That does not take away from a great experience and I would definitely buy from you guys again and recommend a friend. Just make sure the customer knows up front if you are buying a pre-owned vehicle you will not get a full tank of gas.

I inquired about a 2012 and newer Malibu, the sales rep asked about a variety of questions such as my interest in other cars and what is the main feature I want in my car, as well as the basics such as earnings and credit history. I was prepared for negotiations because I brought all required paperwork. My son was entertained and we didnt wait too long for a response for financing, we were graced through the processed by the sales rep and financial adviser. It was a breeze, I enjoyed the experience, friendly face and dedicated employees who wanted me to get that 2012 Malibu. The test drive was awesome.

I bought a 2005 GMC Sierra2500 HD. The sales lady was very helpful and friendly. She didn't give up because I didn't want anything on the lot, she invited me in to see what the other 90 dealerships Mr Hendrick owns had to offer. Thats were I I found it. I came back the next day to check out the truck because the other dealership was closed. She let me take my time and I test drove it for over an hour without a complaint from the back seat! I live in Shelby NC(about an hour away) so they offered to bring it to me the following day after their inspection and oil change and fuel filter change and topped off with fuel. She brought it the following day, we filled out about 20 min worth of paperwork and they were on their way. I don't have any complaints. I totally would recommend them to anyone interested in a new or used vehicle.

Saverio Longobardo and the technician did a great job of listening to my concern about the Impala's transmission and addressing the problem with their best knowledge and skill. This was done in a very timely manner. This is the second major repair done at City ( the first was due to an ice related accident in January, where initially my insurance company convinced me to go to a repair shop across town and it cost me a lot of time and money to do that, City correctly analysed and fixed that suspension problem) and I've been pleased both times.

This was my first visit to City Chevrolet. It won't be my last. I recently moved to Charlotte. When I received a letter from Chevrolet that my Impala had a defect, I was instructed to go to a dealership to have the problem fixed.I asked in my office where I should go and almost everyone said City Chevrolet. I was glad to hear that since I actually knew where it was located and how to get there. My positive experience began right away as my customer service advisor extended his hand and introduced himself. From there on, Saverio Longobardo took great care of me. He was professional, knowledgeable and helpful. Once we discussed how they were going to address the problem that affected all 2006.Impala's, he made sure I came back with the spare key, as the fix involved the key. ,I needed a headlight bulb replaced which was done right away. And although there were 2 other issues with the car, I wasn't able to stay as I had a few appointments.. Still Saverio, looked into both of them, diagnosed the problems and gave me an estimate on the cost.. I was in and out in just under an hour. City Chevrolet is lucky to have a person of Saverio's caliber, and smart to have him as the face of the dealership to their customers. I purchased a 2012 Chevy Equinox. I'm very happy with my purchase. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I went in knowing what I wanted and where I needed my payment to be and they made it happen. My salesmen, Joe Ayers, was very friendly and not at all pushy. Shelina (not sure I spelled that right) was wonderful, too. She really worked to get a payment in my budget and was great at explaining the service contracts, gap coverage and worked it out so I could get what I needed, all within my budget! My one and only complaint is that they only gave me one key. I feel it should ALWAYS be standard to sell a vehicle with two keys. I didn't know they only had one until my purchase was complete and I was ready to drive off the lot.

As everyone knows buying a car can be pretty stressful at times. Not in this case. John Kirby was our salesman and he was they best guy we have delt with among the other dealerships we went to. He was not pushy on anything and allowed us to feel comfortable and relaxed while we made a decision. Although the paying process with the financial department took a little longer then it should have we are very happy with our 2013 Chevy equinox LT. Everybody was exceptionally nice and polite. I think the finance prosses should be faster but John Kirby made up for it. Car dealerships these days typically have a bad reputation for lack of detail and so so customer service. Well City Chevrolet has changed my outlook on what a dealership should be. The whole buying process and staff were wonderful! Andrew Bernett was my salesman and he sold us a 2015 Tahoe. He was very knowledgeable and described all of its features in great detail. Hello all, I never post negative reviews, but I felt compelled to share today's experience. Last Thursday 10/30, after searching online and finding a used car that I liked at this dealership, I called and spoke with Anthony. I started negotiating with him and then got a call back from Mike. Mike and I agreed to a price and I started working with a lady in the Business Office to set up financing. My credit score came back in the 700+ range, so I set up an appointment to see the car today, Monday 11/3. It was all set up for 3:30pm for me to come in and pick up the car. I took the day off work, withdrew a sizable down payment from the bank and drove the three+ hour trip from Charleston, SC to this dealership in Charlotte, NC. I arrived at the dealership at the agreed time and was told, "I think we sold that car." They scrambled to get Mike to come speak with me because Anthony was "with another customer" and, once found, Mike basically looked at me with a dumbfounded expression. He told me that they sold the car on Friday. Then he asked "Is that the only car you wanted, or would you be interested in another car?" At that point I was just trying to figure out if a massive company like Rick Hendrick has ever trained/ educated their staff on Customer Service/ Conflict Resolution. Mike seemed incapable of mustering any modicum of empathy. In fact, the only thought he seemed able to conjure up was, "even though you've wrecked this guys day off and sold the car he drove three hours to buy, DO NOT TO LET HIM LEAVE WITHOUT BUYING A CAR!!". I asked the simple question," Mike, why didn't you call me to let me know you had sold the car?" He looked at me with this blank stare, thought to himself for a second and then uttered, "Well, often times people don't show up." Wow..... The best explanation that Mike could come up with after: A.) negotiating a price B.) pre-qualifying with their in-house financing C.) scheduling an appointment to meet them and sign the paper work was that I would probably not show up. Again, I don't post stuff like this and do what you want, but I would strongly recommend you go somewhere else. Also, FYI, if you see a car in their inventory you like, you can get it from another Rick Hendrick dealer as they all draw from the same pool of pre-owned cars. You do not have to deal with the poor Customer Service you will assuredly experience at this location. Just my two cents. Consider yourself warned!

Also, FYI, if you see a car in their inventory you like, you can get it from another Rick Hendrick dealer as they all draw from the same pool of pre-owned cars. I showed up on a Saturday morning with a knocking coming from the front of my 2014 Cruze. The service desk attendant, Kami, drove my Cruze into the service bay and also heard the knock. I waited in the waiting area about 45 minutes and was called to the service desk where I was told that the knock had been fixed. All of the City Chevrolet employees that I interacted with were courteous and professional and service and waiting areas were clean and pleasant. This is what I have come to expect at City Chevrolet.

This was my first time bringing my car in for service. There was an issue with a vibration upon braking. I dealt with Saverio Longobardo. He was great. I told him it was my first time, and he took ownership of my issue and had the rotors resurfaced. He checked with me to let me know they indeed felt the same thing that i did with the vibrations and asked if I was pressed for time. They took care of the issue for me. I just had my oil changed and tires rotated at City Chevrolet and the service was great. The employees were very respectful and courteous. Sevario, the service rep, was great and explained the results of the inspection that came along with the oil change clearly and in plain english. I was recently in getting my vehicle serviced for the first time and I couldn't find a service person at first. I waited for a few minutes and was approached by Andrew Bernett. He helped me find someone in the service department right away. After my car went in, Andrew stopped by the waiting area to make sure everything was taken care of. He also informed me of a new program where my car could be traded in for a new one! That sounded like a great opportunity. I bought a 2015 equinox. The salesperson Lamar could not have been any nicer, knowledgeable or helpful, as well as David the manager. However I must warn you that the AC on these cars is terrible. WAs told by the service adviser that that's as good as it gets and the Tahoe is worse, This is a GM problem, not dealer or salesperson. bottom line, don't buy a GM. This is the most inefficient AC my husband and I have ever had. I have 150 miles on the car and wish I had my money back to buy another brand.

I arrived at City Chevrolet after having visited Liberty Buick and Town and Country Ford. Upon arrival I was greeted by the receptionist, who quickly paged a sale man for me, Travis Moore. With less than two hours to work with, Travis showed me the Chevy Malibu, pointing out all the features and had me test drive two different cars. We had to leave before we could make a final decision. Upon my return later that day I asked to see the Chevy Cruze. Travis was tied up with another customer, but arranged for Christian to take me on a test drive of the Cruze. I found Christian to be very knowledgeable for a trainee. The Cruze I drove did not have cruise control so Travis made arrangements to find one for me. The next day I decided the car I selected was too expensive. Travis and Mr. Peeples, finance, worked with me to find a Cruze within a price range I felt more comfortable. The experience was wonderful. This is the third car I have purchased from City Chevrolet and I will definitely recommend them to my friends and family.

Tim Dobbins did it again! Yesterday my husband posted a review on Google about our experience as we picked up car #4, my 2 SS RS this past Saturday. That day, we asked Tim and Adam Stephens to get us another vehicle: A straight drive ZL1, black on black, navigation. Now, lets keep in mind that these cars are about as rare as the straight drive coupe Corvettes, and who ever has one will usually hold on to it for dear life. Somehow, Tim found this thing for my husband, and today, just FOUR days from us asking for it, weekend included, the car was there, finance was done ( Adam is a MIRACLE WORKER ) and my husband drove away in his ZL1 with all the options he wanted. So here we go, car number 5! But I am not writing this because we bought yet another car, but really because people need to understand that there is such a thing as a family oriented, friendly and dedicated dealership. While my husband likes his surveys to be sweet and short, I like to give the details, and I hope that looking at them side by side you will see the entire picture. Tim has become my daughter's favorite person, and I'm not sure about your kids, but normally a day in a dealership is not on their most wanted list. Today, she begged to come for the delivery of the 2nd car. On Saturday, Tim spent time with her, sat down and ate lunch with her (that despite our protests he went out and bought for her) while we did paperwork across the hall. Today, much of the same happened and I found that my child was "lost" in the tower, being fed Jelly Beans by the amazing staff. Once we pried her out of there, she spent the day shooting hoops in Adam's office while we worked on the 2nd deal. Let me tell you, Adam, besides being a phenomenal finance magician, had somehow managed to print papers and hand them to us with one hand, while shooting hoops with the other and making my girl laugh so hard she could barely breathe. So yes, there are places like this out there folks. There is such a thing as a good, wholesome dealership that will make it all about the experience and the comfort of the customer, rather than the deal. I will stand by this place for years to come, and as my husband stated, car #6 will be another City car. Thank you TIM and ADAM And the entire Staff at City for 2 phenomenal back to back purchases. Our Camaro siblings are happy in their now home.

I came in on Saturday. Its first come first served. The service consultant Saverio Longobardo told me it would be two hours minimum. I had the time, so I went to the lounge to wait and read. He told me I had a problem with the oil pan drain plug and would take a couple of hours. He offered me a loner car. I was shocked. Never happened. But I got my insurance and drivers license together and he gave me the car. He called two hours later he said the car was ready. Then I asked him about the state inspection. He apologized and still had it done within an hour. This is probably the best service trip I have ever had at City Chevrolet. Thanks Saverio

Worst non-buying experience! We saw a car online and went there to see it. First, we had to get a salesman to help us as many passed us by without a word. Then we saw the car but were told that we could not purchase it since the keys were locked in service. The used car manager stated he would set up a time for us to test drive the car the next day. My husband was called the next morning and had an appt to drive the car at 3pm. When he arrived, he was told two stories...1. An employee purchased the car and 2. The car sold online the same night after we looked at the car but told, even though we were paying cash, we could not even put a deposit on the vehicle. This is bad business and even worse that we brought this to a General Managers attention with no follow-up from him. Terrible experience from the entire dealership! Do not patronize this place!

I have owned two Chevrolet Tahoes (a 2009 Tahoe and a 2015 Tahoe), and I have taken them both to Travis Boone any time I have a service issue or need. Travis does a great job making me feel like I'm his only customer. He provides me with timely updates (about what is going on with my car, when I can expect to get it back, etc). I had the pleasure of working with this dealership a number of times. The dealership is managed by Rick Hendrick which is a part of Hendrick Automotive Group and some other entities. The Executive General Manager is John Bratton, who I got to meet after a positive experience at their sister dealership in Monroe (Hendrick Chevy and Cadillac). I dealt with a Manager there named Chris Boone who by far showed superior customer service, before, during and after the sale. Every time I had a question I would receive an easy friendly person to talk to at the dealership. After I purchased my vehicle I ended up going back to the dealership because I had run into an issue with the Onstar account, and the dealership was friendly to help me (EVEN AFTER HOURS)! I stopped by unknowing that they had closed 25 minutes prior, and instead of telling me to come back, the rep just came outside and fixed my car that was stuck on an Onstar screen and showed me how to do it the next time. This go around I am working with the dealership in Charlotte because it was more convenient for a vehicle I am looking to purchase. Their brand and service promise still stands strong. The dealership shows that they are governed by strong rules about taking care of customers and that they work hard to ensure that their customers are satisfied. I got to work with John Bratton who answered some questions for me, and I must say he is a hard worker, and no-nonsense type of guy. He will not waste your time and will put you with someone who cares. Reflecting on my visit the other day, I must say that even when things don't go your way, the people care about you at this dealership. Sidney "Sid" is one of the best reps here that works at this dealership and he has a great personality! Easy to talk to and likes to joke with you treating you like a person, and not a sale. It was clear to me after dealing with him that he isn't in car sales for the wrong reasons, he genuinely cares about people - as has everyone else I have met at these dealerships. Hendrick drives a hard bargain in their industry, you can't beat the service, quality and team that they provide. Go to Hendrick when you want your next vehicle!

The salesman, Avon, Nancy Wilkinson and David Bellen were great. I got a great price and everything was great. The only issue I had was the dash was cracked and I didn't see it until I got home. I immediately called the dealership and I was told that nothing could be done and that I would have to pay to fix it myself. I should have checked the car out better but I didn't because it was pouring rain and I trusted the vehicle was in excellent condition as I was told. I asked if I could back out of the deal and get another vehicle and I was also told no. Very disappointed. Other than this, my experience was great.

On 6/914 I visited Rick Hendrick City Chevrolet with my 2012 Suburban, the battery was dead. Saverio Longobardo was the service consultant that assisted me. When I arrived at approximately 2:00 PM, the service area was jambed with cars and customers, Saverio assisted me in a timely manner, replaced the dead battery and performed a multi point inspection and evaluation on my vehicle. The repairs are complete, and they even fixed an interior door rattle at no charge. Considering how busy the dealership was when I arrived, my overall experience was excellent, and I contribute most of that to the diligence of Saverio. I'm a satisfied customer !!

I live a great distance from this dealership and was in the area for other business when I called the service department at City Chevrolet for a check engine light evaluation. I figured that I would probably get scheduled for an appointment to bring my vehicle in, but was hoping with price of gas and Charlotte traffice, and travel, that somehow this one trip would suffice. I was transferred to TRAVIS BOONE in the service department and next thing that I knew was that my vehicle was repaired, engine light cleared and my wheel was repaired. They had the part that I needed and were able to complete the needed repair and I was on the road just in time to beat the traffic. I believe that the stars in the sky and TRAVIS BOONE all came into alignment to make this happen. I can truly say , that this level of care and concern go beyond the excellent customer service level and transcended into ET level. Like most people, I do not like buying a used vehicle. Too much pressure. I was lucky enough to get Jay Hall and Fred Cagle and they were unlucky enough to have my car dealer brother in law harass them on the phone from Chicago! End result, great deal where I felt like I was the winner. But it wasn't just the deal. The staff were happy there and super friendly. There were promises made in the deal and I had to take the vehicle back. to get these added on. I was given an awesome loaner and they went out of their way to not only make good on the deal but add to it. I may never like buying a used vehicle but I now know a place (outside of Chicago!) where promises are kept and exceeded.

I was having trouble with the drivers seat not recalling memory settings. I visited the service area and explained the problem. I was called in and told the seat was working as intended. I demonstrated how the seat does not recall previous settings.They kept the car and researched the problem and narrowed the culprit as being the seat modual and ordered a replacement. I was recalled and picked the car up operating perfectly. Travis Boone was my service advisor and I appreciate his professionalism, knowledge, and friendly attitude. Upon entering the Hendrick's deanship every single person we passed, smiled and greeted us. Our salesman Brett and his Manager David were extremely helpful and had the answer to every question we had. Andy the finance officer was extremely personable and pointed out options, without over selling us. I appreciate that approach and consequently we purchased several options. I purchased a pre-owned corvette from City Chevy. David P. went the extra mile gathering invoices, window stikers, etc. so i had a fully documented car- i plan on keeping it a long time. They arranged shipping for the car, the shipper picked up on Thursday and had the car to Houston on Friday morning. Once again, my guy, Travis Boone at City Chevrolet, took excellent care of me today. Needed an oil change and went in for GM "recall fixes". Travis was great on the phone setting appointment. Told me which day and time to come to minimize wait time. When I arrived, he estimated wait time and was 99% correct (within 2 minutes). I appreciate accuracy! Technician found small light that was not working (I did not know) and fixed at no charge. Oil changed, tires rotated, recall issues fixed and I was on my way. My husband and I have fallen on some pretty rough times, the too purchase a new vehicle was only a dream at the current status. Because of the hard times not only our pride but our credit was falling also. I took my 2009 Tahoe with 60k miles in for service because the vehicle was driving very sluggish and you really had to step on the gas for the car to accelerate. After the service department evaluated the problem, Saverio was able to articulate the issue and steps to repair the vehicle in a way that I could understand as I don't know a great deal about cars. Saverio is a very honest and trustworthy person and I thought his level of professionalism and communication was excellent. I highly recommend going to City Chevrolet to get your vehicle repaired; even for regular maintenance because they have maintenance programs designed save you money. Nobody know Chevrolet vehicles better then Chevrolet!

I recently had an engine failure in my Z06 Corvette that I believed to be the result of a defective part inside the motor. I had my car towed to City Chevrolet in Charlotte. The car was beyond the three year warranty but well under the mileage limitation. I had several conversations with GM but they offered no help. So I turned to the dealer. The car was not originally purchased there and having just moved to North Carolina from another state, they certainly had no obligation to do anything out of the ordinary for me. I spoke with Service Consultant, Travis Boone and explained my point of view. I felt strongly that GM should bear at least partial responsibility for the damage and subsequent repair. While Travis seemed to understand my position, he also explained why he felt GM had declined my request for assistance. However, after some consideration, he did suggest a compromise to my problem which was both generous and wholly funded by his dealership. I accepted. They repaired my car and now have a new customer.

I just had my 2013 BMW X3 repaired here after hitting a deer a few days ago. The service was excellent. My service representative, Bruce Nalewajk, was simply awesome. He kept me up to date, and when the repair was finished he made it was done to my satisfaction. I cannot recommend this body enough, my experience was fantastic.

Anytime I need anything repaired on my Saturn Vue, I go see Travis Boone at City Chevrolet. He is a great service advisor! He has taken care of my car since he was at the Saturn dealership where I purchased it, a number of years ago. When the Saturn dealership closed, I started going to City Chevrolet because I knew I could trust Travis to be honest with me and help me make good decisions about service, repairs, etc. I've even been known to call and ask a few kind of dumb questions and he is always helpful, patient, and courteous. Going into City Chevrolet I knew exactly what I wanted. Their web site had their cars listed, priced and with multiple photographs. I had found my car! From the time we walked into the showroom we were treated quite well. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. Within a quick moment we were greeted by a salesman, who introduced himself as Julian Bygrave, and with a British accent. I told him what I wanted, showed him the printout and he took it from there. Julian worked the numbers, met with the manager and made the numbers happen, and I was set to take home my new car later that day. Working with Andy Davis, the Service Consultant/Financial man, again worked the numbers for me to where everyone was happy (City, the bank, me). I appreciate everyone being helpful and friendly. And, by the way, no one tried to sell me a larger, more expensive car or pushed for anything other than what I requested, making this trip to purchase a new car a NEW experience! Thanks Julian and Andy for your assistance! I will definitely return.

Drove 100 miles and it was worth every penny. Went to this dealership to go with my father to purchase a 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray w/ 3LT package (North America Car of the Year). From the time we hit the door we were taken care of with nothing but respect and courtesy by our sales person Mike Hills and the rest of the staff. They offered refreshments and walked us through the whole process of learning the car all the way to actually brokering the deal with the GM of the store. They truly did everything in their power to earn our business. And after the paperwork was finalized, the staff still was greatly appreciative of the purchase and called and emailed us to see if they could assist us in any other questions or concerns. They really treated us like VIP's. Great buying experience. Would recommend to any and everyone.

Don't walk run!!! If any service is recommended, get a second opinion. Worst service experience I ever had. Two hour for an oil change and I had a screw in my tire (Drive a Tahoe)imbedded in the knobby portion of the tire. The said it penetrated the tire. I showed it to my mechanic and he laughed. He measured it against the tire and said "no possible way, they charged your for a patch job to pad the bill".. I prepaid for 6 oil changes. I will take it as a loss and go ELSEWHERE!! Worst service, longest wait times and terrible service advisers... NEVER AGAIN!!! Two hour for an oil change "WITH AN APPOINTMENT"

I purchased a 2013 Z71 4x4 from City Chervrolet. The staff was fun and interesting to work with from City. I test drove a vehicle at another dealership and they would not budge a nickel from the sticker price. My son talked with a person from City and they gave him a 2000 dollar less price for an exact truck. City did not know and I did not know it was the same truck I had driven in York SC. I found out when I looked at the sheet when we were talking to the salesman Clarence. He had been handed our stuff and did not know anything about the situation. City told me they would have the truck by Tuesday and I could pick it up. The dealer in York SC would not give City the truck and they created a new set of problems. City then went looking for another vehicle like the one I had already paid for. The found one in Georgia and brought it to City Chevrolet. Andy in Finance and Clarence were great guys to work with. I felt that I received personal attention and explanations for anything I ask. The experience was a great experience and I plan on buying my wife's next vehicle at City Chevrolet. I believed that the staff at City went beyond the call of duty to assist me.

Tripp Wilson is by far the best service writer that I have come across. Having owned 60 cars in 14 years I have ran across a few. I will be referring all of my family and friends to Tripp. He also has fantastic communication skills which is a big plus in my book.
