Where do i start with my horrific experience that occurred at Rick Case Fort Lauderdale location. ON 10-18-16 i schedule a service call online for 12:15pm but instead i arrived at 11:30am. A guy approached my car not once with our interaction did he stated his name. I explained to him my reason for the service (an oil change along with the paint fading in the holder were i placed my phone). His response was its a scratch and that will not be covered, i inquired how can that be a scratch if my phone is protected and no object is placed in that area, he stated Okay i will look into it. As he did my paperwork with me asking all the questions he was in a rush to get me out the office so he can engage into the conversation that he was having with his coworkers instead of telling me what i needed to do. I explained to him that when i booked my appointment online i arranged for a shuttle ride home. I was then told the car is outside, i was a bit taken back but as instructed i walked outside in the sun but to my surprise there was no one outside but an empty car. i then walked back to him after 2 minutes while he was again deep into his conversation i excused myself in which again i was told just walk around outside, you will find him. i walked back outside and again no one was there, on my way back inside the dealership i was greeted by multiple sales personals where i given the same exact answer. At this point i am now getting upset because of the way that i am getting treated however; i kept on walking as i was approached by a friendly face. My sales person that remembered me from a year ago( bought 2015 Genesis, 2015 Sonata and recommended two people to the dealership). As we spoke i asked who was the service advisor because he still have not given me his name (Stefano) 10 minutes of waiting the driver then shows up stating (no one called him about someone waiting).After two and a half hours i received a phone call from the advisor (Stefano) that my car is ready, i specifically asked was the paint fixed no its wear and tear i was like how can it be wear and tear, i have had the car for 1 year and two months with 12450 miles. The paint should not be fading, this is not my first car that Ive purchased. i then asked about the driver picking me up to take me to the dealership in which i was given a wrong number. I called the number that appeared on my caller ID 5 times and all 5 times i was sent to voicemail. After calling the main service number i was then given the correct number, i called from 2:14pm to 2:44pm constantly received no answer or voicemail (calling both Stefano and the driver). i needed my car so i had to walk 20 minutes in the 85 degrees temperature to get to the dealership. Now is this how you treat your customers at Rick Case or is how the so called exceptional or great valued customer service that is the slogan whenever you call this dealership. I was so disgusted, frustrated, irritated, upset and lost for words i went straight to the cashier for my keys. On my way out my sales person saw the frustration on my face as i explained to him i did not want to discuss my experience but he referred me to the general manager. i introduced myself to him in a professional manner which he walked me over to the service managers empty office. i was told to wait by the general manager for the service manager to arrive. I was appalled by his behavior but yet i sat and waited, 5 minute goes by and all i can hear is talking and laughter outside the doors. i politely took my keys walked straight to my car and drove out the parking lot. Now is this the kind of business that Rick Case portraits to its customers after a purchase is made? The sales person and i were discussing the purchase of an EQUUS but i told him i am waiting for the Genesis G70. i will NEVER set foot in this establishment again to purchase not even a can of soda!!!!!

I saw a vehicle on the internet that got my attention. I figured it was worth the hour drive to check it. When I got there...the car had been sold. I was fine with that since inventory constantly changes and updating the internet is always several days behind. The salesman directed me to a car that I hadn't even considered. It was slightly out of my range...but I considered it. After about two hours at the dealership...I was tired after a long day and wanted to think it over without any pressure. I wanted to make sure I could afford the additional cost. I told the salesman I would let him know tomorrow. True to my word...I let the salesman know I was coming down the day after I was originally there. Another hour drive that turned out to be a shock when I got there. The price had gone up about $4000 since I was there the day before. The salesman told me 'the deal was only good if I bought the car yesterday'. Pressure tactics? Call it what you want. Worst car buying experience ever!!! You have a choice to buy elsewhere...I would advise you to seek other dealers.

I would like to write a 5 star review, but cannot. I did buy a used car at this dealership,the process was difficult. I am still not completely assured I got the best deal.When the deal was presented the internet price was increased by 6000.00 and then 6,000 entered in as a discount. The car fax listed the car as well below this figure, that is the figure with 6,000 added.That was strange,since I had the car fax in hand, they gave it to me. Felt the manager was a bully.Thank goodness I was called back the next day and the original deal was honored, after 4 phone calls.The salesman took the time to explain all the gadgets in the car, thanks for that, it was very helpful. The car could have been cleaner, therefore to me details are important. Also I was only given one key. Apparantly they said this is normal if the previous owner only gave them one key. To me this is not even believable.I did get the second key, but only the key not the remote.I believe I should have a complete second set.Also the car was due for an oil change and no one mentioned that. With these problems, I was the one who made trips to the dealership.I should have had these items the day I bought the car, and should not even have had to ask. They act like they are doing you a big favor.... Hope it will be a long time til I have to buy my next car.

awful service, they say 'our customers are our friends', it's wrong, dealing with them, you risk to be tricked. I buy a car and I pay a deposit and booked an appointment two days after to delivery the car and pay the rest of the car. And what a surprise when I arrive to the dealer office [they confirm a few hours before the meeting!], they have already sold the car to another guy... No apologies... they try after to sell me some low quality cars or too expensive.... Never make business with them.

After buying a new Hyundai 2011 the seats started to wear on the passenger side and driver sides about four months after use. The seats are fraying. The dealership replaced the cloth and I was told the fabric was the same as before. I have had the same problem with the seats looking like they are 20 years old. The new service manager was rude and will do nothing further for me and more or less says this is all we can do. Other customers have had the same problem as me. The warrantly on the vechicle is not worth it and after you purchase your auto you are stuck with it. Bought from Rick Case Hyundai Plantation Florida.

I have a specific problem with the service manager at the location I used. I called ahead because my battery was dead. I told the person I spoke with on the phone the age of my car and they said the battery replacement would be $89.00 (this person was very polite and professional). This was the reason I chose to go. I also had a tire pressure system light on (which went off when I left, but less than 2 days later it was back on). When I told the service manager about this he said they would check out the whole car. It took a long time for a simple battery replacement, at one point I went to ask how much longer it would take and was dismissed being told not much. Then the service manager came to get me when it was done, and before telling me anything about what was done walked me to the checkout counter and immediately walked away. The bill was confusing, especially since I was told $89.00 on the phone and not told about the light repair at all. The service manager knew I was contesting the bill however made the determination to stay in his office, on what appeared to be a personal cell phone call. I then knocked on his door and when I brought up that I called and it should be $89.00 he said, it was out of warranty, then after I argued a bit more, he said he would take it out of the employees. I also pointed out that he never bothered to discuss what was done. He then said "I was going to when you were on your way to your car." The following weekend I took my friend to buy a car at a different Hyundai dealer in Miami to avoid this Rick Case dealership. I need to have the tire light fixed, however need to find a dealership further from my house to do it. I purchased my car at the Rick Case dealer in Weston/Davie, however the location of this dealer was convenient. I cannot overstate how nice the rest of the people at this location were, however one bad apple, especially when it is the service manager can ruin a business.

I had a great experience with the sales person however, when it was time to deal with his supervisor it was not pleasant. He became rude when my husband asked him about the price of the vehicle and more or less told us we could take it or leave it. Because the sales person was very professional I was able to overlook his boss and close the deal.

I bought a 2011 Hyundai Genesis for my wife after driving several german cars. My wife was very sceptic when we bought the car but she has been really surprised by the quality of the car so far. Unfortunately, we can't say the same about the Rick Case Hyundai Plantation team in Fort Lauderdale. They advertise that everything is about the costumer experience but after we signed the deal nobody cared about our customer experience anymore. We had to take the car back so that they would take care of several problems the car had (alignment, broken ac fan, chipped windshield, a few fuses where blown, etc.). I've purchase Pre owned certified cars before from BMW and Audi. There you know those things are taken car of before you buy the car. Since we are not from the area, we called them up the day after we purchased the car and scheduled an appointment for 4 weeks later to come down to Ft. Lauderdale to fix the list of items. They told us that it wouldn't be a problem, that they would give us a loaner take care of everything that since since we were coming down for only one day and had apoointments early on the morning.The week before we drove down to Ft. Lauderdale my wife called 3 different people several times (Sales manager, Finance guy, and the person that sold our car) to reconfirm our appointment and to make sure we just drop the car of and have the rental ready early and that we wouldnt have to wait. Everybody told us that everything will be ready. So the Friday we showed up at 8 am and none of the people we talked to was there and had not arranged an appointment or a loaner for us. Furthermore the people told us that they didn't have a loaner in the lot. We waited almost 2 hours until I got really upset and they finally gave us a car. They did not care that my wife is pregnant and that we had somewhere to be. They just wanted us to stay another hour to wait for the Sales manager to get in and get us a rental. In addition, we had asked several times in advance to have the documents from our contract we sent back on the mail ready for us to take. The documents were never ready and the finance guy Ted said that maybe he didn't have them anymore. How do you not provide the customer the copies of all documents when they purchase a car from your dealer? We had to ask several times for this and to be called back. They never did. We even asked to speak with the General Manager twice but he was either busy or gone and never called back to apologize for the lack of consideration and respect from his people. This has been the worse customer service experience we've ever had with a dealer. They obviously only care about making a sale and stop the good treatment as soon as the customer signs the contract. At least that's how we've felt.
