This was our first time leasing from this dealership and it was a great experience! Dominick greeted us immediately upon entering the showroom. He was friendly and very professional. The whole process was quick and easy. We have leased cars from other Acura & Audi dealerships in the past and the experience we had with Dominick was 100 times better! Thank you Dominick!

Anthony was a pleasure to work with and we would recommend him to anyone looking to buy a car. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised with our experience at Open Road Acura of East Brunswick after having several underwhelming experiences elsewhere. Anthony took his time showing us several vehicles and did not pressure us to spend more then we intended. He made sure we understood the vehicles features , warranties, and did not rush us into the purchase. In the future we plan on returning to Open Road Acura and specifically to work with Anthony.

Antonella from Open Road Acura of East Brunswick is one of the best sales consultants I have ever had to the pleasure to work with! The sales manager Rich and sales consultant Antonella both tried their hardest to give me the best deal in terms of payments and model. This is my second leased Acura at this dealer and both deals have been made with Antonella because I know I’m getting the best deal with her. I highly recommend this Dealership!

2 years ago i got taken full advantage of and had a horrible experience as a female At Precision Acura of Princeton. A good friend recommended me to go see Rob since she had an amazing experience with him. I was in a jam with my current car and Rob was there to save me. Not only did he make me feel super comfortable but he made everything work out and got me into the car I’ve wanted, the MDX! I highly recommend Rob for all his hard work and him taking care of EVERYTHING! I will never go to any other dealership. Go to Rob and I promise you won’t regret your experience. Thank you so much Rob!!

If anyone is interested in buying or leasing an Acura, I highly recommend that you go to Open Road Acura of East Brunswick and ask for Ana Husman. She is knowledgeable, professional and will work very hard to get you the best deal possible. I recently leased a new Acura and Ana was able to work out a great deal for me. It was a pleasure working with her. It was the best car leasing experience I have ever had. It was totally painless and positive.

I will start by writing about previous experiences which were positive. Over the last 10 years, I have leased 4 cars from Open Road Acura. The main reason for my continued business was the ethics of the dealership and the ease they provided to re-lease a car. That all changed this year. To make a very long story short, we turned in our MDX lease and paid ~ 5,600 out of pocket to lease a new RDX. We turned the car in like the previous 3 times and thought all was ok. We received a statement in the mail stating that we owe over $1,700 due to a few issues with the car, a dinged windshield, a tire that although was fine, didnt match the make of the other 3, and a claimed scraping of the bumper. I think the scraping happened there after we turned in the car, but we will never know. If the dealer would have let me know beforehand, I could have had all repaired for ~$80.00 since I had insurance to cover the windshield etc. I would have never leased the car at this time had i known the issues, and only leased another car with this dealer due to previous experience. Never again. Now andrew, the manager up there did help out, but still left us with over $700.00 additional out of pocket. Ive never really haggled with these guys but was now >$6,000 oop on a RDX. They were so intent on making the sale, they ignored all aspects of customer service, and really nailed me on this one. Do not trust this dealership. Get everything in writing, and most important shop around. 10 years, 4 cars and I now say NEVER AGAIN.

It was a pleasant experience with Raymond Lee to purchase our used Honda Accord. He was sincere and patient. Open road Accura of East Brunswick was the first dealership we started our car hunting and we bought our car after the first visit. We felt that they had listed the car for a fair price.

Our Sales Consultant, Raymond Lee made our car-buying a pleasurable experience. He was extremely patient with my wife and I. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicle I wanted and answered all our questions. He followed up the next day with a phone call to make sure everything was okay. Overall it was a great buying experience. I definitely will recommend Raymond to all my friends and family.

The worst car experience with salesman Michael Young I wasted 2 days 3/4 hours each day; Was quoted a price, signed a contract, paid my cash deposit, declared my trade and did my registration/insurance, also picked car interior/exterior had it cleaned. And was told i was given the wrong price via text message! Now I have receipts and no car! ****DO NOT TRUST THIS DEALERSHIP*****

I serviced my car at this dealer three or four times after I got it. Their facility is really nice, they are all very friendly and polite and professional. My last service there was one of those milestone service which involved a few more things like tire rotation and transmission fluid and cabin filters. After the service was done, they said that I would probably need new tires on my next visit since three of my tire tread had gone down to 4/32. As a result they they said that did not do a tire rotation. I said fine, however I felt a little puzzled since the tires looked OK to me, and when did the penny test, It seemed like there was a substantial tread left. I drove the car for another five thousand miles before the 'B1' service indicator came on and I needed to take the car in for service again. This time I decided to take the car to Park Avenue Acura. The B1 service indicator too involved a tire rotation. After I got the car serviced and the the service advisor spoke to me and said everything was fine with the car. They had done the tire rotation as part of the B1 package. According to to their their evaluation sheet which was more detailed, the wheels with the lowest treads had a measurement 5/32. This was after driving 5000 extra miles! It was a real let down to realize that and I won't be taking my car there from now on

I'm not one to write negative reviews, but my latest experiences with this dealership have prompted me to do so. I am going on my fourth lease with Acura. My first two MDX's were leased through Open Road of East Brunswick. Unfortunately, the sales person I always worked with is no longer there, and I have not been able to find anyone worth dealing with since. This dealership is conveniently located for me, so I have tried multiple times to close a deal with them the past two leases. Every time I left feeling like they wasted a lot my time! They were unfriendly, intimidating, and laughed at me when I tried to negotiate. They told me they could beat any price, but did not even come close to the offer I was given at another dealership. They continued to promise me that the offer I was given would fall through at signing, because it wasn't possible. Then they were pressuring me to sign with them that day, and we're very rude once I decided to walk. I am so happy I did! Not only did the dealership I am with now honor the offer given over the phone, but they also showed me how easy and painless shopping for a car can be. Open Road of East Brunswick clearly does not want me as loyal customer!

This was our Third Acura I knew that Anthony and Steve would be able to get us the best pricing; and they did. We traded our current MDX for a brand new, fully loaded one. I could not be happier with the process and pricing. Thank you again for getting us exactly what we were looking for.

I was very happy with the service I received at Open Road. I worked with Steve who introduced me to Anthony. We were deep in an ILX and needed to get out. I was way over on the mileage. They were able to help me into a new lease and take care of my previous Acura. I will strongly recommend anyone to go them for their next Acura Lease. Thank you again.

Other dealerships put a lot of pressure on me to buy a car. Thanks to Tiffany and Steve the sales manager, it was so easy. They even delivered the car to my house in Edison,Nj and took my leased 2013 Acura TL back! I love my new 2016 Acura TLX!

I love Acura's! I have always wanted one every since my ex boyfriends Dad had one. When I graduated college I knew I was buying my self an Acura. My parents and I called made an appointment with Tiffany who was nothing but helpful, to come in a test drive a few vehicle because I was unsure of what I wanted. Mike C, the General Sales Manager helped me through out the buying process and made it easy for me to be so happy with my monthly payments and my Acura TLX, my parents also got one!

I was working a deal with a local dealership near me in South Jersey; Cape May area, which is about two hours from the dealership. I saw a 2014 Acura ILX on Open Road Acura of East Brunswick that caught my eye I had put in a lead and within minutes I got a call from Tiffany. I spoke with her on Monday and she told me the car was still available I could not come in until Saturday. Tiffany followed up with me everyday to give me a update on the ILX and to make sure it was still there before I drove all the way to Central Jersey. Thanks for you help Tiffany!

You do not see many women in sales at a car dealership, so sometimes I hate going in without my husband. But, when I went on Open Road Acura of East Brunswick website and saw that Tiffany was a Customer Care Manager and someone who I can talk to; made me feel at ease. Tiffany was such a great help through out my car buying experience; thank you Tiffany!

It is nice when you can be helped with no questions asked. I had called into the dealership and wanted to know if a car was still available.. I had spoken with Tiffany and she had informed me that the vehicle has a deposit on it but if it falls through she would like me know. I never thought I would hear from her again, but the next day my phone rang and it was Tiffany, and she let me know the deal fell there. I went to the dealership that day and got treated amazing. Even the used car manager Mike Clites came around and spoke with me. I will always do busy with this dealership! Thanks again! I am loving my CPO 2015 Acura TLX; Black Cooper Pearl with Parchment!

I purchased my new TLX from Open Road Acura. Raymond Lee was my Sales Person and he was very helpful and a pleasure to work with. I usually hate going into car dealerships but Raymond made it stress free. Not once did I felt pressured into purchasing like many other dealerships do. I traveled from North Jersey but it was well worth the trip. Our Sales Manager, Steve Flaster was wonderful and made the transaction smooth and easy. I recommend Raymond, Steve and Open Road Acura to anyone who is looking to purchase a new or preowned car. You will not be disappointed.

I saw a pre owned Acura RDX and have been following it for a few days when I finally decided to give the dealership a call on it. Lawrence had answered the phone and I made an appointment with him to come in and check it out. Needless to say the car was all ready for me when I got there. We drove it, he helped me out with the Price and the financing all worked out. Within 2 hours I traded my car in and was on the Road in my new car! Very satisfied with Open Road Acura and im looking forward to doing it all over in a few years!!!

I had a fantastic experience working with Anthony and Mike at Open Road. We came in from Philly on a pre-owned car. Even though it was late, they were ready and willing to help us. They answered all our questions and were eager to make the experience a great one. It was worth the ride from Philly. I would highly recommend them.

I came Saturday the last day of the month and I knew going in it would be crazy busy. I had bought a car from Barry a little while back and had a good experience with Barry when I was at the dealership. Before I went to the dealership, I was helped by Tiffany. When I was there this Saturday my girlfriend was looking for a car and Barry was busy so Tiffany saw me and came over to me and talked with me, I said I was waiting. My girlfriend and I walked the lot outside and a short while after Tiffany came outside and helped us look at cars and show us different colors and models and even though Tiffany is not a sales consultant she went above and beyond for us until Barry was freed up. We purchased a 2016 Acura ILX that day because of the customer service that was provided to us.

Sometimes car dealerships are not friendly and are not helpful. When I called in to the dealership Tiffany was nothing but helpful. Even though the used car that I was shopping for was sold she went above and beyond to find me something similar to what I originally wanted. It was such a smooth process and Tiffany was very helpful. I even drove all the way from Williamsburg Brooklyn to get it because it was everything I was looking for. I am loving my pre-owed 2015 Acura TLX! Thank you again Tiffany!

Over the weekend when I was trapped in and snowed in my house Open Road Acura of East Brunswick was helpful! I want to personally thank Tiffany and Michael Colavito for helping me out. I put in a request for a 2016 Acura ILX A-Spec and wanted some numbers. Tiffany let me know that the dealership was closed but she could help me, she took down what I wanted and told me her General Sales Manager Mike would call me and give me some information. They helped me so much I came in and picked the car up on Monday! even though we had a snowy weekend my car was cleaned and ready for me to take home! You will see me in the service department soon and back in three years for another lease! Thank you Open Road Acura of East Brunswick, Tiffany Caccavale and Michael Colavito.

Wherever you go you always want to free welcomed and important, and that is what I felt here. I had leased my last three cars with Open Road Acura of East Brunswick because I love the way they deal with me. I got a call about six months before my Acura TSX lease was up by Tiffany. Tiffany and I had some great talk and she answered all my questions right away. I had also expressed to Tiffany that I was over my miles and she let me know that was know problem. Tiffany had even had her General Sales Manager call me to reassure me that it was no problem that we will take care of you. Boy where they right! I came into the dealership one night and it was such a smooth easy process. Thank you Open Road Acura of East Brunswick for another great leasing experience!

Before coming to Open Road Acura of East Brunswick I went to my local Acura dealership. I left my local Acura dealership because they just did not care to help me and I was very annoyed. Did not have any time for me nor did they offer me a test drive. After I left that dealership I Googled Acura dealers and this store came up and it caught my eyes because of the review it has. I called the dealership and Tiffany answered the phone she was nothing but helpful. She invited me right in for a test drive and when I got to the dealership she was waiting for me as well as a Sales Consultant Ray Lee to take me out for a test drive. I will always come back and do my business with Open Road Acura of East Brunswick!

We contacted Open Road Acura interested in a 2016 RDX. within the same day we were able to meet Raymond, our salesman, learn about the car, work out all financials and leave only to return the following day to pick up our new car. The experience was smooth and hassle free. Raymond was corteuous, attentive and engaging. Very satisfied with the experience.

I was at the dealership today to research buying a car. When I was there they were having their Christmas party. They invited me to eat with them and I got to hear the managers and the owners speak. These people are real and they are genuine. I felft very comfortable with them and I made the decision to stop shopping and buy the car. I gave them a deposit and I get to pick up my car tomorrow. I cant wait!

I purchase a pre-owed certified Acura TL from Open Road a year and a half ago. Recently we noticed that there was a small defect with the paint on the front of the car. I stopped in one day to show them my concern and they couldn't have been more accommodating. They scheduled a time to repair the vehicle that was convenient for me. They also gave me a vehicle to use while my car was being repaired. The vehicle was delivered to me in showroom condition, they did a great job. I highly recommend Open Road, they stand by their vehicles.

My father was looking to purchase a new SUV since our 2003 MDX was getting a little old. But he was not sure if he can afford it. We went in to this Acura store and was greeted by our salesperson Steve Tong. He was very patient and pointed out the unique features of the new MDX. We all loved it. But it was over our budget. Steve worked out a lease that we felt comfortably and we drove the new MDX home the same day. Definitely recommended Steve Tong and Open Road Acura of East Brunswick.

Went in just to look at various models. Steven Tong came up and assisted us. Showed us a few different vehicles and we ended up driving a new Acura TLX home. Wasn't expected to buy but the deal was great and was comfortable with the process. Salesperson Steven Tong was not pushy. Very informative and caring. A totally different experience that's rare in the car business. Highly recommended.

I went to my local dealer to purchase a new Acura and they were not very helpful and did not offer me the price I could pay. I then went to Open Road and not only did they meet my price but I got to take the car home that day. I was in and out in about an hour with my new car. How great is that!

Been buying Acura's from Open Road East Brunswick, since 1988. Love the car and very pleased with all aspects of Open Road Acura. Their sales person, Antonella was very helpful and knowledgeable. We spent about an hour deciding on which car we wanted and she put us in that car. This was such a pleasure, since I can't deal with sales pressure. Got no pressure at all from Antonella. Always had success with the cars and their service area took care of all our needs since we got our first Acura. Now we are onto our next Acura and have 2 cars from Open Road.

Melvin Morales is a stand up example of what a true salesperson should be. He promised me that no car was off limits and unattainable and he delivered on that promise. I am now the proud owner of a 2014 Maserati Ghibli. As far as I am concerned, not one friend or family member of mine will buy a car if not with Melvin!

HAD A GREAT EXPERIENCE AT OPEN ROAD ACURA OF EAST BRUNSWICK,NJ MY SALESMAN MARK HURANT WAS VERY WELL INFORMED. HE EXPLAINED THE 2016 MDX IN A VERY DETAILED MANNER WITHOUT ANY INDICATION OF SALES PRESSURE. HE ALSO SHOWED ME ON PAPER THE DIFFERENCES IN BUYING OR LEASING MY CAR AND EXPLAINED THE ADVANTAGES AND THE DISADVANTAGES OF EACH . I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND ASKING FOR MARK . IT WAS THE BEST EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD BUYING A CAR. I DON'T HATE BUYING CARS NOW!

I had a great experience buying my new car at Open Road Acura of East Brunswick. I had the pleasure of working with Sales Consultant, Raymond Lee, who is very knowledgeable, helpful, and a pleasure to work with. I felt very comfortable from the minute I walked into the dealership to the time I drove out in my new 2016 Acura MDX. Car shopping could be very stressful but the team at Open Road Acura definitely changed my mind. Not once did I felt pressured into purchasing like many other dealerships do. The whole car-buying process went on very smooth and satisfactory. I am a happy customer of Open Road Acura of East Brunswick and will definitely recommend my friends to have a visit for their car-buying needs. I definitely recommend everyone to ask for Raymond Lee!

Needed to lease a car because my current one is up. Was skeptical when I walked in. But our salesperson Steven Tong was very understanding. I'm retired and living on a fixed income. Steven was able to accommodate us and we got the new 2016 MDX. It has top safety ratings and features we were looking for. And It's not even available on other brands. Definitely recommended.

Michael Young changed our view of what a car salesperson is!! My husband and I loathe buying cars. With only 1 week left on our lease, we had no choice but to start the search. As soon as we walked into Open Road Acura of East Brunswick, Michael Young greeted us professionally and enthusiastically. Outside of being the best dressed salesperson we've encountered, he was also the friendliest and thoughtful. He was beyond patient with us (I take a long time to pick out colors and options). Overall, it was a great experience. My husband and I highly recommend Michael Young and Open Road Acura of East Brunswick. P.S. We LOVE our new TLX AWD!!!!

I came on a Saturday in early Nov 2015 taking a look at the Acura TLX with no intention to buy. Just to look. Lawrence had been my salesperson who greeted me. He showed me the car in and out and I fell in love with it. He had me drive it and get a good feel for it. After that we came inside, worked out some numbers and got me to where I needed to be without any haggle or typical back and forth negotiation. With that said, I had no reason not to buy that same Day. Lawrence also went over the whole car with me and set my up my first oil change appt with the service department. Best and Easiest Dealership would not want to buy anywhere else!

I came to the service department in hopes of them fixing my car that the local Acura dealer could not. Not only did you fix it you found an additional issue that you fixed for free and you even washed my car for me. I will be seeing you again in the future when my car needs service again. Well done!

There should be an exception to the 5 star rule! These guys at Open Road Acura East Brunswick, deserve 10 stars!! I recently purchased a 2016 Acura RLX Tech. Now keep in mind this is My 4th Acura so you would assume that the dealer that sold me the 1st 3 cars would hook me up. Not the case. With the help of Scott Harvey the General Manager, Raymond Lee my very knowledgeable sales consultant, Mike Colavito aka Magic Mike and Ron Graybush in finance here's exactly what happened: I'm no stranger to the Acura line up, So I walked in knowing the car I wanted, just had to decide on a color and Have Raymond explain some of the many, many features this car has. . They didn't try to do the switch-a-roo and point me towards something I wasn't looking for, or something they can make more money on etc. I was also returning a leased Acura. I explained to them the deal I was looking for and also told them I was just passing by because I had an appointment and had to be somewhere. I explained to them the deal the other Acura dealer that I purchased my other 3 Acuras from offered me (which was pretty good, but not good enough), Open Road took the best deal I received, chewed it up and spit it out. They called me back about a 1/2 hour later with a better price, and overall way better deal. These guys knew I wasn't playing around or just window shopping and they did everything and beyond, to give me the best deal and then some, and earn me as a customer. They took care of everything from there (paperwork, Lease Return, Insurance stuff, you name it they did it), I just had to come in sign a few papers and roll Away in my 2016 RLX Tech. They did everything they had to do to get me the deal I wanted. Hey! Now that I think about It I should have asked them to stand on their heads and spit nickels, I don't know if thats possible, but one thing I can assure you of Is the Open Road Crew would have tried it if I asked. If your looking for a super easy, smooth, no pressure dealership, that gets the deal you want done, go to see the guys at Open Road Acura East Brunswick. You will be Happy you did. Mike B.

As a woman I am always a bit concerned talking to a car dealer. Tiffany was great and helped me through the entire buying process. Tiffany set me up with Antonella and it was nice to see women employed in the showroom. After I bought the car they introduced me to the service people where I met Alicia, Denise and Jeanine. I have bought a lot of cars and this dealer made me feel so comfortable.

From the moment I put my request in for a 2015 Acura TLX, to the moment I left the dealership I was beyond impressed. Tiffany who is the Customer Care Manager, helped me out via email and over the phone, I made an appointment to come in to just test drive the 2015 Acura TLX, but I fell in love so I had to lease it. As soon as I walked in the dealership I was greeted by Jeff Berger who went over ever detail of the car with me. Mike Colavito( General Sales Manager) and Scott Harvey(General Manager) cares very much for their customers' and they made sure I was nothing but happy. I will come back again, and I will service my car here! Thanks Open Road Acura of East Brunswick!

Looking to buy a used car after reaching 200,000 miles on my car. Found a car online and went to the dealer to look at the car in person and take a test drive. Raymond was very knowledgeable about the Nissan I was looking at and pointed out every feature. Went on the test drive and really liked how the car drove. I decided to buy the car and during the negotiation, Raymond and Tarak offered a fair price without over charging for features, fees, etc. Tarak clearly explained all the specifics about the financing and worked to get the best rate. Great overall experience with this dealer! Highly recommend!

Their service team was rude and inconsiderate. I scheduled a visit to have the auto start fixed on the specific day that Open Road of East Brunswick stated the autostart company would be onsite to correct the issue. However, when my wife and child showed up to have the car serviced, they told her that, indeed, the auto start was broken and that should would have to return the following week to have it corrected. Not only is this contrary to what the representative on the phone said it is incredibly inconvenient to make a mother and her kids come back and forth from a dealership when they could have serviced the problem during the first visit.

Went here to lease a MDX. After about an hour and a half of pointless negotiations we finally reached a deal. Handshake and all. (Michael Young). Out of know where the "man behind the curtain" came out and fed us a line of B.S. Trying to Increase our lease price and give us less money for our trade in. So we left. (Blessing in disguise) we went to INFINITI and now have a Qx60. They gave us exactly what we first negotiated with Acura. INFINITI WOULD NOT LET US LEAVE!!!

Arrived at dealership on July 3, 2015 to have a tire repaired. Dealt with service advisor Richard Young, I was informed that the tire can not be repaired and that I must buy a new one. Upon, check out, I inspected the service invoice and the service technician wrote "the tire has been punctured due to outside influence. But is repairable. Installed tire plug. I approached the service advisor, his answer was that he gave me a $5 savings on the tire rotation.Complete fraud on the part of the dealership.

after shopping for a car for several weeks - and dealing with many high pressure / low listening sales reps we found Ray Lee at Open Road of East Brunswick. Ray was super easy to work with and hyper responsive - and the dealership was very competitive in terms of price. No games - no high pressure. A very pleasant, straight forward and fairly priced process. Would definitely do there again!!

I felt like they really weren't that interested in my business. They would not negotiate more than $500 on price for a CPO even when I was able to find comparable cars in neighboring dealerships for a couple thousand less. Also, I know it's a little thing, but I think it's nice when dealerships let you take their cars out for a test drive yourself vs riding along with you. It's like going to an open house... sometimes you just want to look around, discuss with the person you are with, without the sales person following you. I ended up buying a CPO MDX that met the same specifications as one at EB for over 2k less and much friendlier customer service. I get it, they are in business to make money, but if you're like me and trying to save a little where you can, I recommend checking out other dealerships close by.

Beware of Barry Chaskes and Micheal Piccolo. They are unhelpful phonies that constantly pressure you and force you to agree with them. They hate being questioned and asked about older models. Nothing but a bunch of bigoted leeches. The cars themselves are great but far from perfect but those two guys have brainwashed their narrow-minds into a thinking that any thing but what they are trying to sell you complexly sucks.

I recently bought an Acura MDX from Open Road Acura of East Brunswick and the car buying experience right from my first internet query till getting the keys in my hand has been really excellent. I had been looking for the car all over the places, and this is the place where I got the desired vehicle with the best pricing and smooth process without any gimmicks or surprises. The sales rep. Mr Raymond Lee took his time to hear me out, discussed about whatever concerns I had, brought me a very good deal which I could not deny. The whole car-buying process went on very smooth and satisfactory. I am a happy customer of Open Road Acura of East Brunswick and will definitely recommend my friends to have a visit for their car-buying needs.

BUYER BEWARE!!!!! THEY SELL LEMONS, AND THEIR SERVICE DEPARTMENT DOES NOT INSPECT THE VEHICLES, NOR DO THEY DO THE INSPECTIONS THAT THEY SAY THEY HAVE!!!!! In November 2014, I found an ebay ad for a 2009 TL SH, Certified Pre-Owned. The car looked good in pictures. I drove 2.5 hours to East Brunswick to test drive the car. Upon arriving at the dealership, I test drove the car with the salesman, John. He offered me an insulting trade quote of about $4,000 less than what my car was worth. I purchased a 3rd party warranty, up to 100,000 miles. Make sure that you read over their contract! They have permanently worked into the sales agreement, a $95 "DEALER WASH AND DETAIL" section. I told the salesman that I would rather do the detail myself, as I would NEVER pay a dealer to "clean" a car for me at that rate. Also, they did not fill my car with fuel, but left it at a 1/2 tank!! I have NEVER purchased a car that wasn't full of gas! As I drove the car home, I noticed that the front passenger side speaker was blown. On Day 2 of owning the car, I noticed a rattling noise coming from underneath the car, which sounded like it came from the exhaust. On Day 4, I reported the noise to the salesman, John. In January 2015, the speaker was fixed under warranty by the dealer near me. In February 2015, I brought the car into the dealer near me for a check engine light, the rattle noise, and an oil change. The dealer said that there was a low oil level, but they did not know why the vehicle was losing oil, and they wanted to do an oil consumption test. I notified the General Manager, Scott, of Open Road Acura East Brunswick of all these issues, and we kept contact of all issues. From the start, he wanted me to bring the vehicle down to NJ in order for Open Road Acura Service dept. to do the repairs. I told Scott that I was not happy with all of the issues with the vehicle that I bought from them, and I found it hard to believe that a Certified Pre-Owned inspection had been done by his dealership. He told me that "mistakes happen. We are human, right?". It is completely unacceptable for a dealership to overlook the areas that are a part of the 150-point CPO inspection!! In March 2015, after not getting any help from the dealer near me to fix my car, I agreed to have Open Road Acura repair my car. I traveled 2.5 hours, 100 miles one-way, and paid $20 in tolls to get there. A few days later, Service Manager Jonnathan told me that they had fixed the rattling noise in my car. He said that the Tech found the rattle noise coming from the catalytic converter heat shield being rusted. The tech "re-clamped" the cat heat shield and (allegedly) performed a complimentary multi-point inspection. The day after I picked the vehicle up, I heard the catalytic converter noise, once again. I recorded a video of the noise and sent it to Scott. Scott wanted me to come back to the dealership ONCE AGAIN, in order for them to fix it. **Also, they NEVER mentioned anything about the oil level being low**, but they did top off all fluids (allegedly). I refused to make the long drive out to them again and told him that I should have the vehicle repaired at MY convenience, at the Acura dealer that I chose. He agreed to pick up any out-of-pocket costs from the Acura dealer. In April 2015, I brought my car to the Acura dealer near me for the final attempt to have it repaired. They confirmed the rattle noise coming from the lower heat shields needed to be replaced. After they said the car was ready, I picked up the car, took it for a drive and STILL found the rattle noise!! **AGAIN, this dealer didn't mention the low oil level** After not having my vehicle fixed, I notified Open Road GM, Scott. He wanted me to bring the car back to their dealer. I brought my car to my personal ASE certified mechanic. He found an oil leak from the oil pressure switch, the rattle noise coming from the catalytic converter, and a broken catalytic hanger. I can confidently say that I will NEVER buy another Honda/Acura product. Do yourself a favor: DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALER, or ANY ACURA DEALER!!!! THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT NEEDS A SAFETY AUDIT!!!

I normally don't spend time writing reviews but this situation called for it. I came to the dealership with my niece to lease a new ILX and met Mike Young. the customer service that he offered is far beyond anything I have experienced. If more dealerships treated people the way Mike did you would not need to shop around. without even trying I ended up leasing the TLX myself. TRUST ME!!!! his way of doing business was customer service on steroids. Don't waste your time shopping when everything you need is right there!!! HATS OFF TO YOU MIKE

I had taken my MDX for standard oil change at Acura Open Road (East Brunswick) dealership on 2/26/2015. After oil change when we brought the car home we noted that there was a big (one foot long) scratch on the passenger side (left side of the vehicle). Even paint was taken out and one can see the steel of the body. We called and went back to dealership. Problem was resolved after couple weeks by having a auto body folks had them repaired.

We were being told by Tom (service consultant) that it does look like a scratch but he can't do anything about it since his Service Manager (Jonathan Ventura) was gone for the day. Next day Jonathan called back and without even seeing the car he told me that it was not done at the dealership. When I demanded to see the video tape I was being asked to come back in few days as tapes are with outside security company as they do have video camera to capture car's in and out of garage. I received a call on Tuesday (3/3/2015) that video tapes are in. When I went to view the tape on Saturday (3/7/2015) I was told by Jonathan that there are no tapes. Security Company didn't had tape to show for the car going into or out of garage. He further stated that video camera only captures activity of route 18 into the dealership. When I point out the camera that hanging outside of garage Jonathan informed me that camera doesn't work. I also complained to General Manager of this Dealership on 3/20/2105. However, it was in vein. He stated the same story. As a matter of fact he replied back by saying his valet attendant, his repair technician (who had actually performed the oil change) and car detailing attendant (one who had washed my car after service) all have informed him (after 3 weeks since the incident originally took place) that my car had a scratch when it was brought in. However, no one from dealership had mentioned this to us while the car being services there on 2/26/2015. In nutshell, I was told that dealership will split the cost of the repair but they won't pay full price for the damage. I ended up taking the car back to dealership on 3/13/2015 where Jonathan had called one of their collusion body shop consultant to take a look at my car. They estimated the repair cost of $600 of which I will pay $300 and dealership will pay $300. I picked up my car back on 3/19/2015, after paying $321. 15.

Ed Mosley is by far the best service representative that I know! The radio on my MDX was malfunctioning but the problem was not always appearent. Ed listened to my problem and eventhough he didn't find the issue at first he persisted in resolving issue. In the 30 years that I have been getting my cars serviced never did I encounter such an excellent service represetative.

We were looking at a pre-owned vehicle online that was for sale through Open Road Acura.I emailed an inquiry and within minutes I had a reply from on of their salesmen, Anthony Pinto.I explained to Anthony what I was interested in and stated that I was looking for a "no hassle, no pressure" experience. I appreciate a straight forward approach and despise the games some car dealerships play. Anthony assured me that there would be no "games". He was true to his word.We purchased the vehicle and the entire experience was pleasant and "pain free". I would gladly do business with both Open Road and Anthony again. Thanks for a great car purchase without the hassles.

I have been to many Acura Dealers for car shopping and I have never came across this gentleman Raymond Lee. Thats right! Remember that name when you walk in to this dealership and make sure you find him. Even if he is not available just be patient and wait for him, its worth it! Raymond is not a typical car sales person who judges you on the way you dress and if you can afford a car or not. He greets you with the respect you deserve and patiently works with you until you understand what you are buying. There was no pressure to buy nor did I feel that I'm going to be wasting 6 hours in the dealership. He makes it very comfortable and pleasant. I came to this dealership from a friend referral and I'm glad I did. I know I'm going to be telling my entire family, friends, and coworkers about Raymond Lee and making sure he gets MY BUSINESS. Thanks again for such a wonderful buying experience. I'm enjoying my Acura TLX!

I checked the MDX model cars in their site and found few of cars matched my choice, so i called them and went to showroom. The Sales Person (Raymond Lee) was really friendly and helped me to choose the right car for my need (2011 Acura MDX Entertainment package - Certified). Car was really clean, tires, brakes were changed. Took the test drive and I said I'm ok with this. Then we negotiated the price for a bit and bought the car. Price was already less compare to other dealer so couldn't bargain much. They gave me 2 years warranty and i paid $1,900+ to get warranty for 3 more years/100K. Peace of mind for another 5 years. Really a nice deal. They arranged the finance very quickly (I had excellent credit score). Overall it was quick and nice transaction.-Muthu

My husband and I had great experiences working with Mike Messina, Steve Flaster and their entire crew at Open Road Acura of East Brunswick. We are always treated with professional and courteous service. This is the third Acura we have leased with this dealership. We will definitely recommend this dealership to all of our friends.

Just purchased a 2014 RLX demo model with 7k miles to replace my 2007 RL. Mike Messina worked together with his management & finance team to put together a great deal for me. The trade-in value was fair, the finance rate was amazing and I got all of the features in a new car that I was looking for. Mike is an honest, straight-forward sales guy who I credit with really enhancing my purchase experience. I would recommend him and Open Road to anyone looking for a new or pre-owned car.

I just purchased a 2015 RDX from Open Road Acura in East Brunswick. I should note that I am a return customer to this delership. John Genovese was my sales consultant and found him to be very helpful. He was very knowledgable about the RDX, and any questions I had he answered them. They made my purshase very easy and pleasurable. I would recommend this dealership to anyone, and they should go see John Genovese.

I was recently there to have my Acura serviced so I went up to check out their new models and Ray saw me and my dad and came to us to talk to us about our experience with Acura. He spent a lot of time with us explaining about the TLX model since I was not very familiar with it. He then took us out for test drive and answered all our questions. Overall it was one of the best experience I have ever had at a car dealer. He did not try to sell me hard as I am not looking to buy a car right now. He just wanted to re-establish my relationship with Open Road Acura. But if someone is looking for a car, I am going to recommend they go see Ray before making a purchase. He is very good. Let me also add their services is highly professional and make sure that you are satisfied. The only thing is that I wish they were close to where I live, Well, you can't have everything.

Open Road Acura is a great dealership. The salesman who worked with me, Melvin Morales, is a credit to this dealership and to Acura. He is very knowledgeable about the vehicle as well as the pros and cons of buying versus leasing. I am very pleased with my choice, the RDX. Melvin went over all the features of the vehicle with me and I am comfortable that I made the right choice.

I did a lot if research and i spoke with many different dealers when trying to find a tlx black on black for the best price...Raymond was honest, responsive and patient through out the whole process. I spoke with several other dealers who would not follow up with me after leaving a voicemail. Great experience

Raymond Lee was a pleasure to work when we were purchasing the MDX. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicle. Showed us all the features and explained how to use them. He was professional and very customer-centric and clearly focused on delivering the best Open Road Acura of East Brunswick value. He is a true credit to your organization.

This is my 4th car purchase and the best so far. Ray is very knowledgeable about the cars and has provided me very insight of the available preowned cars (pro's and con's) based on the year, mileage, make. He help me pick right car in my budget rather than convincing me to buy a highly priced car. Thank you Ray..I am loving my car.Over all experience was smooth and quick turnaround. I was out of show room with my purchase with in an hour. you will not find better dealer anywhere else. I would highly recommend Open Road Acura, EB.

I was looking to purchase a used Mazdaspeed3 and came across one at Open Road Acura. The car was newer with low miles and in great condition, and had been listed already for a full month, so I was suspicious going into the sale, as this indicated to me that other buyers had likely come and gone. Additionally, the dealership had originally priced the vehicle $1k above the high end of the KBB fair market dealer value range and $3k over the KBB dealer fair price, so I was worried about negotiations. Things went better than expected. The salesman, Tarak, had the patience of a saint, very relaxed, not overly pushy. I wasn't questioned at all when I asked to take the vehicle for a test drive (some dealerships have a thing about customers test driving sports cars), and given a long drive with ample time to log data from the vehicle's OBD port and look over the car. Failing to find anything wrong with the vehicle, and noting that the reconditioning work performed was good, we successfully negotiated what was in my opinion a very fair price on the vehicle. Here's where I was really impressed. I stated up front that I wanted to finance it through a third party. I also told them that I was interested in getting a warranty through a third party. They went ahead and ran my credit and made a surprisingly appealing offer. I told them I still wanted to investigate financing and warrantying through the third party. They said that I could go get a loan and bring it with me the next day and they would hold the car for me (generous of them). They also said I was welcome to call the third party and get an offer on the spot...so, I did, and they waited while I called, which took over a half hour thanks to said third party's horrible freaking phone system. I discovered a problem with the third party's program that was not to my liking, and ended up financing through the dealership. They let me store my old car at their dealership and take the car I purchased home with me so that I could take it to my shop the next day in my home state (PA) and get a full inspection. I told them to basically check everything because I had no knowledge of the vehicle's history. I was relieved to find that everything was as the dealer said it would be. All of the fluids were brand new and everything was in excellent shape.Overall, I was very pleased with my transaction with Open Road Acura. Even though I was buying a used sub-$20k compact, they took the sale seriously and were very respectful and patient throughout the process. The only real knock I can give them is that the carpet in the driver's area had road salt in it from the previous owner, which I paid a detailer to spot clean, however, it's inexpensive and minor, and I don't count this against them because the rest of the reconditioning was more thorough than average, and the only thing the car needed the day I picked it up was a rear wiper blade and a driver.

Would highly recommend Open Road Acura of East Brunswick. Our salesman, Anthony Pinto was excellent. Very professional and a pleasure to work with. We recently took our car for the first maintenance visit and that was a pleasant experience as well. We can't say enough good things about this dealership and would highly recommend anyone in the market for a car to see them.

I just purchased a new Acura TLX. My sales representative John Genovese made my wife and I feel at ease immediately. Dealing with Mr. Genovese was a pleasure. No hard sell, just a feeling that he really cares about his customer. He was extremely patient and answered every question we had. Kind of like dealing with your favorite uncle. We got a good deal with none of the back and forth which is the usual car buying experience. Everyone at the dealership itself was very friendly. We were even introduced to the manager of the service department. A great car buying experience.

In general, we dont like to haggle with car dealers as we think its just a waste of energy. But working with Raymond Lee at Open Road Acura turned out to be pleasant car buying experience. He answered our every questions professionally and patiently. He demonstrated the extensive knowledge of Acura vehicles, and customer-oriented approach. We bought a RDX with good price, and will recommend anyone, who is interested in Acura, reach out to Raymond.

I have had to go lease cars in the past but never have I had such smooth easy buying experience. Dealer John Genovese was quick and to the point on the price and I must say he met me at the price I needed to be without struggle like many other dealers I have met with in the past. Overall he showed me all the features in the car and made it easy to understand and I was out the door with my brand new 2015 Acura ILX all in a matter of a few hours. Overall a wonderful buying experience and I would recommend John Genovese and the dealership to anybody.

First the positive: The salesman Michael Young was great; didn't even feel like I was talking to a salesmen. We had a very friendly and professional back and forth conversation and we finally agreed on price. The purchase price for the vehicle was way below what it should have sold for and they gave me a very fair price for my trade. Sounds like a win/win, right? Nope! Now the negative: I was supposed to receive a check back for my trade as we only applied a portion of the trade allowance towards the purchase price. They failed to give me a check and I actually forgot to ask for it when I completed the transaction. I called the dealership the next AM, the salesman had a day off so I was put through to the sales mgr. She told me the deal didn't make it up to accounting yet because it needed a signature by Michael P., Used Car Mgr., but he will be in at 12. Once he comes in he will sign and accounting will issue the check. That was reasonable. Later that afternoon I get a call from Mike P. telling me I can not get a check because they are waiting to get funded from the bank on my purchase plus they haven't sold my trade either. I told him I was never told that by either the salesman or the F & I guy, and the sales Mgr. told me that morning that I will get a check cut when he comes in.Mike P. proceeded to argue and get a bit agitated, he said their policy is to wait until they get funded and it can take a week or more. We went back and forth on this as I tried explaining this was not previously explained. He then got loud and told me the only reason they did the deal was because he was trying to get one more unit sold to close out July, I believe for some bonus or incentives based on unit volume. But by the time I picked up the car they had already closed the books for July so there was no incentive anymore to do the deal; therefore he repeatedly told me to bring the car back! This made no sense, I already signed and drove, I never forced them to do the deal. Sounds like they made a bad deal and he was trying to back out; but it was a little too late.We hung up and Mike P. said he will call me back; which he did and at that time he agreed to cut a check the next day as he verified I was mis-informed and he will brake policy and issue a check prior to getting funded. I thanked him, even though he was rude and unprofessional, I just wanted my check and hung up. Problem resolved right? Nope! The next day Mike P. calls my cell phone and starts yelling at me accusing of me making numerous calls that day to the dealership harassing various people. I tried explaining I didn't make any calls, he was getting inaccurate information. We went back and forth a few minutes and then he just abruptly hung up. 15 minutes later I got a call from the salesman telling me they will overnight my check. I thanked the salesman, especially being he was great through the entire process figuring I would receive the check the next day as promised. I also emailed Michael Morais, COO of Open Road, he quickly responded apologizing and said he will be back to me quickly after he spoke with all involved. Now I thought I'd have a resolution!? Not a chance!Next day I never receive a check as promised, even worse, not even a courtesy call from anyone with the dealership, nothing from Michael Morais or his office telling me the check didn't go out. A big "0" for customer service.

We just bought a new 2015 MDX from Raymond Lee. He is very professional from the beginning to the end. There is a small mis-communication during the process, but he quickly resolve the issue and move the deal back on track. The transaction was handled smoothly and the finance guy, Ron Graybush, is very helpful on the Acura maintenance program and extended guarantee. We bought 4 year maintenance package with 7 year extended warranty. We got what we wanted. Thanks, Open Road Acura.

My service manager was Ed. I had my Acura 2010 TSX for flood damage. I had to call them for update. Ed was never available on the phone. If you leave a message, you never get a return call from them. I had to call twice or three times a day to get an update. I was promised to get my car back after a week, but it took them one extra week. Very poor customer service. Finally, ED started calling me back, because he wanted approval to get extra work done in the car. Repairs outrageously priced. When finally I went to pick up the car, the price quoted over the phone by Ed was not honored and I wound up paying ridiculous amount of money. Never going to this dealership again. Bunch of Crooks!

Recently we bought an Acura 2014 MDX from Open Road Acura of East Brunswick. Purchasing a new car is exciting but also stressful, Trying to understand various features of the car and negotiating the price back and force with sales person and manager made us really nervous. Fortunately we have met MR. Raymond Lee as our sales consultant. His excellent service made the entire purchasing process easy, efficient and pleasant. Mr. Raymond Lee was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the car. All our questions have been answered with patience and respect. His attitude, personality and expertise quickly won our trust. We picked up the car on Thursday that was his day off. However, for our convenience, Mr Raymond Lee showed up, postponed his appointment and stayed with us over 2 hours until the transaction was completed. When finally driving out we were happy and 100% satisfied. Thank Mr. Raymond Lee ! Y.W. E

I would reccomend dealing directly with Mark Hurant. Although, the other employees through the process were very helpful and kind, Mark goes above and beyond anyone I have ever dealt with. Being in a service related industry myself and knowing how my customers appreciate how I run my practice, I can say very few in this or any industry are as top quality as I am and Mark is one of them.

I've been to many dealerships in the past and they all have the same thing, going back and forth between the sales rep and the manager in price negotiation.Open Road Acura is the execption to this. This was the most pleasant buying experience I ever had. The dealership is clean and they treat you with respect. The gentleman who took care of me is John Genovese. There aren't many car sales rep like him and there aren't many dealerships like this one.Kudos to Mr. Palumbo and his sales team!I highly recommend it

Excellent experience from start to finish. We were fortunate to have had John Genovese as a sales person. He was friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating and assisted with all of our questions. He made 4 hours seem like 30 minutes. He took the time to walk us through the vehicle and be sure my phone was programmed and synched before I drove out. This is our 2nd Acura and 2nd experience with John. We sure hope he is there when we come in to buy our 3rd Acura.

We bought an Acura RDX 2014 from this dealership and the experience was very pleasant. The sales-professional Anthony was very knowledgeable about the car, courteous and easy to negotiate price with. When the vehicle color/interior we selected was not available at his dealership, he quickly located a car at another dealership and procured it for us. Unlike other dealerships, he took enough time to explain us the operation of the various features of the car and do an initial set-up for us when we went to pick up the car. I would heartily recommend this dealership and Anthony.

I was directed to Open Road by Autotrader. I was looking for a used 370Z. Boom, after a couple of hours, there it is! A mint looking (picture wise) '09 Z with my name all over it. So, I go up there and view the vehicle. In the description on Autotrader, there was never a mention of a slight crack in the front bumper/paint peeling. It was a small, 5" x 5" area on the "fang" of the Z. It was nothing more than someone parking and clipping the curb, it was clearly not an accident level of damage. No biggie, moved on. I wanted to buy it. I figured they'd either 1) fix it before I bought it based on my wants and needs or 2) offer money to pay for some of it. Long story short, I bought the vehicle for a great price and they gave me a good price for my car. It was a happy story until it came to get the front bumper fixed...but, I should've expected it. They "washed their hands of it." Fast forward 3 years--the car is great. A couple weeks ago I go to trade in my Z (which, I absolutely adore and baby, by the way) and I have the salesman come back to me with a Carfax report. Oh, can you guess what happens next? "Sir, you have a rear impact tied to this vehicle." The Z has 7K on it. Why would I assume it had a rear impact? Everything looked great and I was never told that. Not even a hint. You want to know what that cost me? 3K on a trade in. 3K may not be a lot to all of you, but it certainly is me and it makes a nice difference on a monthly car payment. I just want to personally thank you, Open Road Acura, for your inability to tell the truth and fit the stereotypical "stealership" mold. Not to mention your salesman should probably have a slightly better education on the vehicles you sell. I don't think mine knew the difference between an automatic and a stick shift. I would never recommend anyone go here to buy their vehicle unless new...simply because they can't hide much there (or can they?).

This is one of the worst service related Acura Dealership in Central Jersey. I went in with a HFL Module issue where battery would drain overnight. They made me replace battery first after confirming it was a battery only issue. My battery was new but they stil had me change it. On my way back home after battery change, after driving 5 mins on the expressway, the car electronics started fluctuating, I hastily pulled to a roadside garage and turned the car off. When trying to turn the car back ON, the car was just dead, even the doors wouldnt open. When I opened the hood, I saw that the RED terminal of battery had came off because it was not even tightened. WOW to workmanship of a trusted Acura Dealership. I made an angry call to the service center and they were not least bit worried. The lady said, Im sure it was not intentional, what do you want me to do about it. Great customer service right, talking to an irate customer who is standing on the road because of your poor work quality. They were nice enough to give me a free oil change the next time you come. And my Bad that I went there again. The issue persisted as the issue was not battery anyways. This time when I went, my Service Manager was Ed. Even before taking the car for service he said this looks like a bad HFL module (proving it was the most common problem, then why didnt you check for it in the first place). Anyways, I left the car there and took the loaner home. He called me later and said I needed to replace the HFL Module as its the Hands Free Link that had an issue. When I asked how much its going to be, Ed said the part is 700$ and I am giving you a discount that I am not even supposed to give. So including part n labor it will come out to be $495. When looking online on how much people had paid for it and my neighbor was quoted for it for same 2007 MDX, the price sounded wrong. When I went to pick the car and looked at the invoice, the cost of the part they charged me was $335. Just to make sure I wasnt missing anything, I called Acura of Bridgewater and they said that part was $258. When I told the service manager he said oh that Acura Dealership is not Open Road so we cant really compare with them. I told him you do not represent Open Road for me, you represent Acura. When I pressed further and asked Ed to call Bridgewater and check the price himself, which he said he is not allowed to do. Ed then went and talked to his Manager" named Dave who supposedly was at Acura of Bridgewater dealership for 9 years. After 20 mins of talk they came out and said okay we gonna call that dealership. They then "supposedly" made a call to someone in Acura of Bridgewater and asked him the price of the same part. I obviously couldn't hear anything but when Dave hung up the phone he said they are saying the same price as 335 which we are charging. I asked him to put it on speaker phone and call which he conveniently avoided.Dave continued to say that these dealership under ball the prices on phone to attract them and there business practices are not very good etc. Basically bad mouthing that dealership. He again tried to bad mouth Bridgewater Acura to which I ask him to "SHUTUP". I had also called Open Road Acura of Wayne, NJ and they had priced me 271 for same part. So then I told them you guys are outrageously pricing it, even other Open Road dealerships are 20% or more less then yours. To which Dave then shutup and said let us talk to another manager. Then after making me wait another 20 mins when Ed talked to Another Manager he gave me a price of 268.Im putting my experience down so people beware of the MAKE GOOD FEEL they try to give you, check their pricing, verify the workmanship and beware that underneath they may charge you rip off prices. ex: "Oh this part is $700 and Im giving you a discount that Im not even supposed to give you. BOTTOM LINE. DONT GO TO OPEN ROAD ACURA OF EAST BRUNSWICK. If you have to go then price match them with other Acura Dealerships and make sure you dont pay more then what you should. These guys are liers and fakers.

My husband and I took a short drive from Staten Island to look at the new 2014 MDX. We were just starting to look around at the car and planned to visit all the local Acura dealerships. We started with this one because it is the closest to the Island. We were greeted by Chris- a fellow Staten Islander who was fairly new to the store. Within 2 hours, we were proud owners of the new MDX. Chris, as well as his management team made us feel welcome, comfortable, and made the entire process seamless and easy. Chris took the time to make sure we selected the perfect model to fit our needs- and obtain what we felt was a very good deal. If you're in the market for a new Acura- go see Chris and his management team for an excellent experience.

Our overall experience has been great from start to end. The immediate response from Cally (Sales Manager) and her staff was incredible. Not only was she able to provide us with outstanding customer satisfaction but she ensured that we would have smooth transaction and would be happy with what we want in a vehicle. The overall negotiation, was very pleasant and I would recommend asking for Cally Pivano so she can work with you and direct you with someone who will dedicate there time and patience during the sell of the vehicle from purchasing to delivery.

About two years ago, we purchased a Acura TSX Sports Wagon at Open Road and had a very pleasant experience. When we had a second kid, we decided to trade in the TSX for a 2014 Acura MDX-AWD. Naturally, we went back to Open Road. The sales consultant we previously worked with and liked a lot was no longer at the dealership. We got to work with Antonella Zuckerman this time. She was pleasant, knowledgeable and professional. She was reasonable throughout the negotiating process and tried to get us the best price possible. We were very pleased with the whole purchasing experience once again. Also, later, when I couldn't locate the lower anchors for the LATCH system for the car seats (I thought they were missing!), Antonella responded right away to my call and patiently walked me through locating the anchors in the midst of me throwing a hissy fit! Would definitely recommend checking out Open Road to anyone interested in Acura.

Hands down the most smooth, professional, and painless car buying experience I have ever had. I went in dreading the haggle and sales situations typical of buying a car and was so relieved when none of these things happened. My wife and I left with the car we wanted, felt like we got a good price on it, and - even better - did not experience any stress at any point in the process. We will happily go back!

The entire staff at Acura of East Brunswick was attentive, receptive, helpful and friendly. Any questions that I had were answered by Antonella (more than once, if necessary) with respect and patience. Antonella continues to follow up on this service.

Robert Burreci was excellent regarding answering my many questions about my '99 CL. I'm trying hold on to my treasure for as long as possible. I was uncertain about correct maintenance procedures because Open Road put in a new transmission , catalytic converter,o- ring things some time ago.I appreciate the fact that a loaner is provided when necessary. This makes a tremendous difference, for I have no one to depend upon for transportation.Your Service Department is outstanding. NOW...if only you would produce a TWO DOOR ACURA !!!!!Thank you,Maureen Jacobsen

Mark from sales did an excellent job on explaining all the features of the car. He did an excellent job of answering all my questions about the vehicle. Mark did an great job on making sure the car had all the features I was looking for. Also explained how safe the RDX and his description of all the features made me feel secuire on my purchase. He also followed up days after to make sure everything was excellent with the vehicle. I have encountered many sales people and Mark is by far the BEST, honest and friendliest one I have dealt with. Only if all sales people were like him! I would recommend everyone to deal with Mark when buying an Acura!

This was my first visit to Open Road Acura and everything went very well. The valet greeted me and showed me where to go. Then a young lady helped me check in with a service consultant. Everybody was so friendly and welcoming. They had bagels, coffee and free WiFi so I could get some of my work done while waiting. The service was done in the promised time and they even offered me a loaner car. I couldn't have asked for more. I will be returning there and telling all my friends to as well.

My wife and I have purchased many vehicles over the years and the experience that we had at Open Road Acura of East Brunswick is by far the best! We were greeted by an extremely professional consultant, Michael Young. He took time to listen to our concerns as they related to buying a new car. He wasn't pushy or deceptive. Our overall perception is that Michael was there to help us a buy a car, not sell us one! After all the paper work was done, he took quite a bit of time going over the car with my wife (not the most tech savvy person). He was patient and made sure we understood all the features. After all, it's a very big purchase and we want to be able to enjoy it. Michael made sure of that. I will recommend Michael Young and this dealership to anyone I know in the market for a car. Great experience!!!!

I went to Open Road Acura a day before Diwali without my husband because he couldn't get time off from work. Dhwanika was very pleasant and she understood my reservation about making such a big purchase without my husband. She explained the MDX and it's features during our test drive and even helped me personalize a few hands free link voice commands which I thought I was going to have trouble with. During our negotiation she made sure to address both me and my husband who was on the phone the whole time with respect. She made the whole process so easy and stress free, I was impressed. She even went out of her way to make sure the car delivery process was in a timely manner since it was a big holiday event for my family and I had to be home by a certain time. All in all she has become my go to person at the dealership, she's always available and answers all my silly even not so silly Questions. I would definite recommend her and the dealership to all my family members. It was a true luxury experience.

I visited Open Road Acura of East Brunswick to lease a New MDX. We visited the dealership on a Saturday and even though it was busy we did not have to wait long before Anthony greeted us. He was knowledgeable, polite and eager to answer all of my questions. He made the decision process very easy for us.We also worked with Steve, the sales manager. He gave us a great deal and custom tailored the lease to fit our needs. I highly recommend visiting Open Road Acura for the best deal and overall experience. I know I will be visiting them again in the next 3 years.

I was recommended to see Mark Hurant at open road Acura by a friend who said that their car buying experience was the best they ever had. I went there looking for a new TL with the technology package. Mark was excellent as he explained as he explained the advantages of leasing and buying and helped me make a smart decision that was best suited for me. He also explained to me very thoroughly every feature on the car when unpicked up the car. This is why Mark also made this experience, the best car buying experience I ever had.

I recently leased a 2014 RLX from Open Road Acura and was awed by the exceptional service and product knowledge of their sales team. I am an Acura loyalist and was very interested in the RLX. When I made the appointment, Christina made sure that I was placed in good hands with Melvin, who was particularly knowledgeable on the RLX. He gave me a thorough presentation of the features of the car as well as a long test drive. Steve was a pleasure to deal with and gave me a great deal.Kudos to the team at Open Road Acura. I have been to other Acura dealers and I must say the experience at Open Road was the best I have experienced.

I was shopping for a RLX. I went to my nearby Acura dealer in East Brunswick. I was promptly greeted by Ben Moy. He was extremely nice and professional as well as knowledgeable. I got a very fair price the RLX and a reasonable price for my Mercedes E350 trade. They had the color combo in stock and I was out the dealer in a quick period of time. The sales and finance managers were all very accommodating and know how to treat their customers very well. I would definitley come back and recommend the East Brunswick team.

I've been driving Acura RL since 1997 and the product speaks for itself. However, I've never encountered a salesman such as the likes of John Genovese aka Geno. He was extremely knowledgable if product, no sales pressure and answered all my questions. Represented my needs to his sales manager Cally Pivano accurately. Worked on getting me a good deal as promised. Finance gentleman Ron was very helpful in picking out the right packages for my needs. Overall a great experience, wonderful dealership and definitely coming back in 3 years. Would definitely have Geno as my sales person again.

I came to the dealership after shopping around at BMW, Infiniti and Mercedes. I had decided that I wanted an Acura RDX. Michael Young who was my salesman was very helpful and patient. He took me on a test drive, described the standard features and he didn't push me into one model over another. We went over my options for buying versus leasing which helped me decide what I wanted to do. The vehicle purchasing did not take long. Mr. Young has been continuously helpful even after purchasing the vehicle.

The dealership and the sales executive were wonderful. They got me exactly the car I wanted when I wanted it and for the appropriate price. Everything was done in a few hours -- talking about cars, test driving cars, coming to a deal, etc. And then when I returned as planned 6 days later to pick up the car, all of the leasing paperwork was ready for me, insurance cards were available to me, and I could have been in and out in less than an hour, except it took awhile to go through the new features of the car. That was important to stay longer. It was a great experience.

I recently came in to Open Road Acura of East Brunswick to look at the MDX and was immediately approached by an extremely pleasant salesman named Rudy. Right from the start he acted professionally in regards to my needs and made my whole car buying experience a pleasurable one. His manager, Cally Pivano, was of a different class in relation to sales. She was completely attentive to my needs and to what specifically I was looking for. Never in my life have I seen a better manager and will recommended everyone to work with her specifically. Thank you so much Cally. You made buying a car a truly exciting experience!!

After searching everywhere for a potential dealership to send my business to, I decided the MDX was calling my name, and thus headed over to this Acura to check it out. As I have always preferred BMW as my brand of choice, I was quite surprised with how Rudy was able to eloquently list its features to me, in a way that had me convinced within a short time frame.Rudy is not only knowledgable about what he is selling, he is also a professional through and through. I didn't feel like I was being tricked into buying a car. Instead, I felt like a close friend was truly giving me their honest opinion about a potential purchase I was making. Needless to say, I bought the car, and have no regrets about it. If you are considering Acura as your car dealer, ASK FOR RUDY!! He is the best!

I purchased a 2009 used jeep wrangler from this dealership for my son. I worked with Anthony, who was by far a great person, and a stand up guy who followed through and kept his word. I also dealt with the used car manager Mike Piccolo who was my best friend while I was in the buying process but when that was done so was he. As agreed in my contract I was to bring the vehicle to a jeep dealership to have the tire pressure sensors repaired at his expense. He explained that he would call them and set it up. I wanted the appt. in Toms River close to home. I get a message that he made the appt. and to bring car into be serviced. My wife took a morning off to bring the vehicle and the dealership in Toms River had no appt and no idea why we were there. We called Open Road and they called Mike on his day off to find out what was up. Mike explained to my wife that his assistant made the appt. in Freehold. My wife explained that we told him Toms River, why would we drive a half hour to Freehold? He explained to my wife that it was his day off and he would take care of it in the office the next day. I guess our time is less valuable then his. The next day after several calls to Mike, we confirmed a Monday appt. he had set up. I arrived at the jeep dealership Monday and I was given an estimate which I explained that Mike from Open Road had made the appt and I assumed spoke with them about who was paying. NEVER ASSUME. I called Mike from the jeep dealer but he was not in until 1 and no one else could help. I called back Open Road at 1:15 because I needed to get this problem resolved and was tired off waiting for a return call. After several more attempts, I called Anthony explained the problem and after several calls back and forth resolved the problem. To this day Mike has never called back or attempted to apologize for HIS total lack of professionalism and arrogance. I would never recommend this dealership because of there lack of customer service. The Acura of which I own one is a phenomenal vehicle and speaks for itself but the dealership that sells them also needs to be phenomenal and Open Road, and Mike need to step down a peg or 2.

Few days ago we got married and wanted to get a new car which we always dreamed about. We were still working on our budget since we were getting married we were working on the budget which was very tight haha. But we didn't give up and shopping never thought its impossible. We were shopping for Acura TL. For a few days we visited few dealerships and we got nothing expect rude sales people, poor customer service and ignorance. Day before our wedding my husband found a perfect car for us in OPEN ROAD ACURA in New Brunswick. It was late but we decided to give it a shot and call dealership. We were Lucky! Someone picked up the phone. It was Michael Young one of the sales-mans. He listen carefully our needs and was very supportive. we schedule our appointment with him next day, few hours after wedding. He was super exited and we were to. When we met him he was very friendly, professional and worked out for us very suuuuuuper great deal right on our budget. Guys he did tremendous job because I have to mention that we never financie anything before so our budget was small but our needs super high hahha. But there is nothing impossible for Michael Young . He goooooot it for us! We left with car we dreamed about thanks to him, his charm and deal he worked out for us . THHHHHHHHHHHHANK YOU MICHAEL!!!!!!!! As soon as we establish our credit we coming back for next deal :)Also we are new in financing department so he was very patient and explained us everything from a to z :) and trust me I have always gazilion questions.Last part before you will leave dealership with your new ride is to go through financial part and paper work which is massive haha. Michael took us to meet JOSE GARCIA - Business Manager to deal with a paper work. We were sitting in his office and saw our new car waiting in through the window and piles of paper we have to go through hahha- torture - we wanted to be OUT ! and enjoy new car ! hahha..... but JOSE was outstanding - he made so quick and simple that we were siting in the car in nooo time. He was also very helpful, patient, explained everything and gave us few sweet deals !!!!! He is brilliant and organized seconds and handle paper work in seconds :) THHHHHHHHHANK YOU for made this experience sooooo easy and fun for us! You are wonderful!!!!If you ever go shop for the car go there, and ask for MICHAEL YOUND AND JOSE GARCIA ! Best guys ever and best in business!!!!Marta and Lukasz

The salesman, Mark Hurant, was very knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. He said he would get us a good price, and when he brought the manager over, we got a good price. We came in on a Monday, saw a few cars, and got a price on the one we thought we wanted. We came back the next day (Tuesday) and saw the car again, negotiated with the manager, got the price lowered and some accessories thrown in, and bought the car. The finance person was also very nice and very efficient. All in all, it was a very good experience.

Great dealer! We were looking at a 2010 Acura RL, Certified Pre-owned. I saw one on Cars.com, and it was a good price for me. I was able to get an even better price at the dealer. Both the salesman ( Mark Hurant ) and his manager did everything they could to insure we were satisfied. They did everything possible to meet our request for a reasonable price on the vehicle we wanted. I am sorry that I can not identify the manager's name but can state without question her knowledge and manner leave nothing to be desired! Purchase from this dealer if you want the satisfaction of knowing you made a smart decision!!!

I will start by saying Amanda (Service Consultant) was extremely pleasant and courteous. However, the Service Manger Don left me feeling insulted ad unwelcomed at Open Road Acura of East Brunswick. I took my 2006 Acura TSX in to be serviced on a Thursday - without an appointment. Amanda was accommodating and the facilities were very nice so I did not mind the wait. Amanda took the time to explain to me what the diagnostic tests revealed and I agreed to have my car serviced. Amanda went above and beyond extending courteous and thoughtful customer service by offering me a loaner car without my asking. Six days later, I went to pick up my car and paid the $1,195.00 without protest. When I went to my car, I noticed my front seats (driver and passenger) were ruined. It was evident that inside of my car had gotten wet. Given that the weather included not only rain showers, but downpours between Thursday, June 30th and Weds, July 3rd - I told Don I believe someone had left the car windows open; further evident by the 1/4 inch of water in my cup holder. Don was extremely rude and unconcerned as he told me he could not believe my seats were not already ruined when I bought the car in. Don also refused to give me a business card and would not provide me with the name of anyone with more authority than himself. Don continued to be belligerent without offering any resolve for the ruined seats. My personal experience lends credibility to the many negative reviews I have read on other sites.

Both my wife and I went to OpenRoad Acura after we had visited a few other local Acura dealers. The other dealers didn't compare to the personal and professional way that we were treated at Open Road Acura. When we called to check if they had the RDX that we were looking to purchase, not only did they have a vast inventory but they also provided us with a name of a sales representative who would be able to help us. There was no waiting time for the rep to attend to us. He was able to answer all our questions and made buying a new car a pleasurable experience - the way it should be.

I went to Open Road Acura to look at an MDX but was not sure if I was going to purchase one. I was greeted at the door by a very friendly and knowledgable sales person named John Genovese. He was not pushy and did not make me feel like I had to buy a car because I walked into the showroom. He was very passionate about the cars and patient with all my questions. John conducted himself with integrity and sincerity- 2 words not typically associated with car salesmen.I was also pleased that I wasnt there for the entire day. The whole process went pretty quickly considering I was trading a car as well. Cally Pivano worked with me on a deal to get a price that was acceptable which helped in my decision to purchase the Acura MDX. She was pleasant and accommodating. Overall, I had a very plesant experience at Open Road Acura. I will definitely go back and visit John Genovese again! I have already referred John to some of my friends.

We had our 2005 Acura MDX serviced by Open Road Acura of East Brunswick for air conditioner issues on May 8-9, 2013. The Service Department recommended that the air conditioner compressor be replaced for $1745.67 after a full diagnostic test was done. We agreed to have the repairs done. We did not have any issues with the service until this weekend. Unfortunately, while in a parking lot this Sunday, May19th, we noticed that oil and transmission fluid was leaking from the car. We requested AAA to tow the vehicle to the nearest AAA Car Care Center to have the car checked since the vehicle can no longer be driven due to excessive loss of oil. We would have taken the vehicle back to your dealership if it was not Sunday and the Service Department was closed. Upon inspection by the AAA Car Care Center, they found out that the transmission cooling line that enters the radiator has pulled out of the radiator. The vehicle lost all of its transmission fluid and coolant. Also, they noticed that the power steering pressure switch was unplugged. AAA fixed the issue by replacing the MDX's radiator. Parts and service for the radiator replacement cost us $873.67. Based on the repair report, it was evident that our MDX's problem was caused by negligence and poor service done by Open Road Acura of East Brunswick. My complaints to the General Manager of the dealership was forwarded to Don, from the Service Department, who left a message and alleges that the cause of the issue was rust at the hose due to the age of the car. When AAA looked at the vehicle, they showed us what caused the leak. There was no rapture on the transmission cooling line - instead the line that enters the radiator had pulled out of the radiator. There was no rust on the joint that connects this line to the radiator. This joint is normally screwed tight and the only way that it can be pulled out is if it was accidentally hit during the compressor replacement. For the Service Department to replace the compressor of our MDX, they would have to remove the component that is very close to the radiator. The compressor replacement procedure even warns that one should be careful not to damage the radiator fins when installing the A/C compressor - this indicates that the compressor is very close to the radiator and it is possible that it was accidentally hit during the compressor replacement. The AAA report was very clear - "the transmission cooling line that enters the radiator was pulled out of the radiator". The report did not indicate the presence of rust or that the line was ruptured. It clearly states that it was pulled out. Aside from this, AAA calls out that the power steering pressure switch was unplugged. Open Road has not provided an explanation on how this could have occurred. We are very unsatisfied and upset by the service performed and the responses provided to date by the Service Department of Open Road Acura of East Brunswick. When we decided to have our MDX serviced by the dealership, we thought we would be getting quality service and we will have peace of mind for the services rendered - especially since we paid premium for the service. After the amount we paid to have the car serviced for the air conditioner, we never thought that the service done would be so unsatisfactory that it can cause us undue stress and possibly put our family in harm's way. Negligence caused by their Service Department cost us $ 873.67 for parts and repair service. We had to put a halt to our day's plans to address the issues caused be their negligence. The only silver lining is that the leak was noticed while the vehicle was parked - before we drove the car with our kids. We cannot imagine what could have happened if this occurred while we are driving the vehicle. Open Road Acura of East Brunswick prides itself as a Dealership of Distinction. It is unfortunate that they advertise this achievement and claim the they set the standard for client satisfaction when they do not eve

We have been loyal Acura customers. We have been proud owners of the brand. Aside from the 2005 MDX, we also have a 2004 TL. We love both our cars and have taken good care of both vehicles by following all the recommended maintenance services. This recent situation has convinced us that Acura is not worth the money spent - both for the product and the services. We will make sure that we do not get another Acura and will let others know of our bad experience.

I went just to test drive and price an RDX. After the test drive, it was not what I thought I wanted and Antonella suggested the TSX, which I was currently driving. I liked the car and we discussed numbers. I did want to think about it, have the weekend, etc. but I felt it became more of high pressure sale, that such great deals were happening now and they were selling out cars, etc. However, even though the sale went WAY faster than I had anticipated, the staff worked with me very well! They were friendly, accomodating and courteous. Once was able to catch a breath, sign the paperwork, I left with a new TSX within 4 hours.

I was a returning customer to Open Road Acura East Brunswick. I purchased my first vehicle from them. Before coming, I had multiple phone conversations with Cally Pivano. She was a little pushy on the phone for me to leave the $500 deposit for the vehicle that I never saw. My credit card info was unprotected and open to anyone with access to notesWhen I arrived at the dealership, I was in the showroom for about 20 minutes before anyone paid any attention to me. When I finally was introduced to the sales manager, he started with a totally different deal than the one that was quoted over the phone. A sales manager basically laid down a deal and told me that this is either take-it or leave-it. I felt manipulated and the overall behavior of the sales person and sales manager was very dismissive. They did not want to hear what I have to say. I ended up purchasing a vehicle from Acura of Denville and had an amazing experience. The sales staff of Open Road Acura East Brunswick should do an unpaid internship at Acura of Denville because they have a lot to learn in customer service. Meanwhile, dont waste your time at East Brunswick.

I chose Open Road because of the competitive listing price in cars.com and excellent selection of late model Acura RDX's I was specifically looking for. I drove an hour not having high expectations going into the "experience" of buying a used car from a dealer given my past experience with others. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised. I worked with Matteo who is very knowledgeable of the models features and options. When it came to price and negotiations, I felt I got a great deal and the negotiation process was very painless and quick - which was a big deal for me. They even worked with the financing that beat my banks APR which surprised me, as well. The finance manager was a little pushy with the "dealer options", but not intolerable. Overall, it was the best experience I have had at a dealer to date. Thanks, Open Road!

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!! I went in for an oil change on Saturday, March 22nd and my $300 Gucci sunglasses were STOLEN out of my sunglass holder. I complained to everyone from the customer service lady, to the VP of Sales to the General Manager. Everyone asked the people who worked on my car and they said "no" they did not steal my sunglasses (duh, who admits to theft). I was so upset and I even complained to Acura corporate headquarters and they said they can not refund me for my loss. I was also told "these people have worked for me for years" and "no one has ever complained of anything being stolen from them in the past." I will never ever set foot in this place again. I can't wait to see what God has in store for the person that stole my sunglasses.

I have just took delivery of a 2013 TL SH-AWD from Open Road Acura East Brunswick, NJ. This is my second lease and my family's sixth vehicle purchase/lease from Open Road. All six times the sales staff has treated us professionally and courteously. The sales team is wonderful and lives up to every transaction from the price to the terms. Definitely stop in to buy/lease your next Acura. You will not be disappointed. Don't forget the service department. I have used them many times for routine service and never had an issue. Great people all around. Keep up the great reputation Open Road!!!

Michael Young and Cally Pivano were an absolute pleasure to work with from the very first moment I inquired about leasing a new vehicle at their dealership. They truly wanted to earn my business and I cannot say more about this dealership, and most importantly, Michael and Cally. It's a friendly environment and one without any pressure... very much consultative in nature and they ultimately want you to be happy when you walk out the door... what I can confirm is that I was thrilled with the price received on the vehicle and will definitely be going back when my wife is ready to lease a new vehicle.

On Edmunds, this dealership is listed as one of those that will provide an Internet quote. I provided my contact information and the model I was looking for, and promptly received a phone call. However, the Internet sales person refused to give me an Internet quote, saying that it is against their policy to give out Internet quotes. I explained that Edmunds explicitly says I will receive an Internet quote. East Brunswick Acura explained how the Edmunds page is simply to get your contact information in order to get you into the dealership to talk price, rather than give you an Internet quote to work with. How can you expect to buy a car from a dealership that is already using shady tactics? Man up and provide the Internet quote like your other fellow dealerships. And if you can't, then you shouldn't post on Edmunds saying you will provide Internet quotes, when you clearly can't. My friend and I were trying to buy 2 Acuras. He made it to the dealer (I was on my way) and the salesperson provided prices that were way above what even Edmunds were listing as reasonable purchase prices. After a bit, salesperson told the friend to take it or leave it, and assured him that he'd be back. Friend left (I saw no point to join him at East Brunswick) and we paid almost $1500 less (below listed Edmunds invoice) at another dealer, in under 15 minutes of negotiation, without the attitude.

I purchased a CPO 2011 Acura in August of this year from another dealer. Unfortunately, 72 days later, Hurricane Sandy turned it into an aquarium. Fortunately, my insurance company paid me what I paid, less my $100 deductible in 3 weeks. So we began our hunt for a replacement vehicle. With inventories in the NY/NJ area low, due to people like me replacing water destroyed vehicles, finding the right car at the right price seemed like a daunting task. I actually went as far as Langhorne PA to another Acura dealer, but they let me walk away for $200 difference between what I offered and what they wanted.. So feeling like there was no end in sight, we decided to try Open Road Acura. I have bought and serviced cars at Open Road BMW so I had a contact from them when I walked in the door. We were greeted quickly and without being pushy by Mike Young. He took us for a test drive and made us feel quite comfortable, though it was late on a Saturday night.I drive a hard bargain and in this case, I knew how much I had to spend, Mike P worked with Mike Y to get me to the umber I needed, and we all walked away feeling good.In sum, these guys were excellent to work with, and I look forward to working with them in the future.

This is the second 2013 Acura RDX I purchased from Open Road Acura in the past three months. My salesman, Charlie Smith, in addition to being very knowledgeable about the vehicle, was very professional and considerate of my time throughout the buying process. Price negotiations were reasonable and fair and the delivery process was easy and convenient. I have been buying cars for many years and quickly realized that this dealership did not use the dubious tactics some other not so reputable dealers are known for. I highly recommend them for anyone who may be interested in an Acura.

My experience at East Brunswick was awesome, I just purchased my second TL from Melvin. Melvin service was top notched, their was no pressure sales tactic. I gave him a price and he came back with a hand shake to seal the deal. I was only their for 2 hours. Michael in the business office for finance was super easy. He asked me my driving habits and Michael presented the best options to purchase. If you got to East Brunswick ask for Melvin and Michael to handle everything. I did go to other dealers in New Jersey and New York hands down the buying experience was by far the best at East Brunswick.

I submitted an Internet Lead to 3 different dealerships and their initial response was fine. (It was probably automated) Once I actually started conversing through email, however, boy did it turn. Both other dealers gave me Internet Quotes. This dealership just asked me to call or come in. They refused to give me a quote. They are obviously NOT Internet Savvy or they have something to hide. I ended up buying two new Vehicles from Precision Acura who gave me, by far, the best experience I ever had buying a car, or two!

In all the years and cars I have bought or leased(over 40 years) I never received the excellent work ethics that I received from Anthony Hayfieled. From start to finish Anthony provided to be a freindly and devoted salesman and an excellent representative for Open Road. He made the process very easy and worked to make the deal be completed on our terms and not on the dealerships. He took time and a hands on approach in describing every detail of how the car works. This was a first for us. I would recommend him highly as well at the Open Road Dealership.

Ordered a few after market additions to my new Acura MDX, made an appointment to have them installed mid week, since the service cannot be completed on a weekend. Received a confirmation call that a loaner car would be available the next day during the service of the vehicle. Next morning, my wife gets a call that states they will not have a loaner available and that she should call back later in the day. She calls back various time and speaks with two indifferent girls in the service dept. After she exhausts their willingness to be helpful she gets a manager on the phone. The manager decides, since the two previous girls did not think of it, to call another car rental agency. They finally locate a vehicle. However, the vehicle was in terrible condition. It had a flat tire and smelled like cigarette smoke. If I purchased a non-luxury vehicle that did not claim to have the best service, I would not have taken this incident so seriously. However, the promise (before the purchase) and the delivery (once they already have my money) of the service was stark and embarrassing. If I could return my car to this dealer I would. Needless to say, I will not be purchasing anymore Acura's, particularly from East Brunswick Open Road Acura.

First impressions speak volumes, whether you're meeting someone at a party, at work or at the car dealership when one drops off their car at the service station. For me, the face of Open Road Acura in East Brunswick is Fortunado. Fortunado's welcoming demeanor, even at seven in the morning, is so appreciated. It was because of his persona that my husband and I bought our third Acura from this dealership this past weekend.

Absolute waste of time. After negotiating for over an hour on the price of a TL they appraised my trade in 3000 below other acura dealers. Then they play the finance game where they'll tell you you're only approved for a high rate but when in reality it's alot lower just to bump your monthly payments. They then lower the rate you're actually approved for and raise the price back up because you agreed to the monthly payment. They play nice in the beginning but when you get down to negotiating, they try intimidating you and feed you BS after BS. Ah well, I'll take my 35k elsewhere.

I knew I wanted an Acura TSX Sports Wagon. After a horrible experience at a local Acura dealership in Brooklyn,I didn't know where to go. I wanted an honest dealership that would give me a good quote as well as provide good customer care and service. After calling a number of dealerships in the area, the Open Road Acura sounded like the best choice and I was right. The internet sales person, Cybil Tascarella, was great over the phone. At the dealership, we worked with Anthony Mayfield - a great sales person. He was professional, honest and very funny. He was never pushy or shady like some sales people I've worked in the past. He was straight forward and we felt very comfortable doing busniess with him never feeling like were were being taken advantage of. As soon as we agreed on the final price and the terms, it was a cake walk. He took care of ALL the paper work including the transfer of our NYS registration and even the insurance. Once we signed all the papers, voila! Our new car was washed and shined ready to be driven home with all the necessary paper work in order! He even helped us set up the bluetooth phone system. From the start to finish it was such a pleasent and seamless experience, thank god!It was well worth making the trip all the way from Brooklyn. We would definitely go back there.

Sale consultant Mrs. Zuckerman gave a great explanation of all features of Acura's vehicles, the differences between last-year and new models, pointed out the quality and luxury for our driving preferences during the driving test. All the paperwork was done very quickly, all of our questions were answered clearly and thoroughly. My wife and I were in the market for a new SUV. We narrowed our vehicles down to Acura MDX, Volvo XC90, and the Lexus RX350. The last 2 new cars we owned were Lexus and we felt we wanted a change. After test driving all of the above vehicles, we decided to go with the Acura MDX base model. We were treated perfectly at this dealership. We loved both of our sales people, Cally and Tarak and would highly recommend this dealership. Everyone is warm and friendly and they have a gorgeous showroom as well. We visited other Acura dealers in the area and East Brunswick stood out head and shoulders above the competition. Keep up the good work guys and we look forward to seeing you again in 3 years.

I had to wait an unacceptable two hours and twenty minutes for a simple oil change. Buyers be aware and take your business elsewhere!! When I arrived at the Dealership no one even wanted to check me in all the service reps washed their hands off because my supposed service rep was away from her desk for 10 minutes which is a totally idiotic policy. Only the Valet employee was running around begging other reps to help me so I am not standing there without help.

The rating is good and not great primarily due to the negative interaction with Eric Cummings the New Car Sales manager. I was so dissapointed with Eric that I threw out the papaer with his name on it immediately, so I am remeber his last name by memory. Tarek was great, curteous and helpful. He can confirm that sales managers' name. Eric was rude and disinterested in assisting us in defining the purchase. He was the only manager on site when we arrived on Tuesday evening, May 29th. Tarek had spent time test driving several certified cars with us and then when Eric was brought over he treated us like we did not have a clue as to what we wanted (we had the exact vehicle picked out) he tried to convince us to buy a new RDX instead of the pre owned MDX (we had already decided exactly what we wanted); he then said that the best price he could offer was $2000 higher than the Memorial Day sale which was 12 hours old; saying - "that was last week's price" - 12 hours old!! So in short I felt like Eric was treating me like I expect to be treated by a good old Ford or Chevy dealer in Newark. I certainly wasn't treated like a soon to be 4-time Acura owner!!! Send Eric back to gthe minors where he belongs. Tarek immediately recognized this and worked to make amends and to his credit it is becuase of his work that we bought the vehicle. As for Cally she was courterous and helpful but I suggest she meke it very clear when one deals with her on the phone that she makes the business connections to sales but doesn't sell - that I had to figure out. That turned out just fine.So hurray for Tarek - he did a good job.Frank LaDuca732-991-6611

Open Road Acura made our car buying purchase an easy experience. This is my second time purchasing from this dealership and it went just as smoothly as it did in the past, 9 years later. They really show you everything about the car and give you all of your options. Anthony Pinto, our salesperson, was great, not pushy, and very knowledgeable on the new 2013 RDX that we purchased. He went over every aspect of the vehicle before we purchased and went into greater detail when we went to pick up our car. Steve Flaster, the sales manager, was not pushy and very easy to work with. He gave us what we were looking for on our trade and made a great deal on the new car. We also were in contact with Cally and Renee from the internet department and they were very easy to work with as well. This is a great overall dealership and will come back again the next time we are in the market for a new car. If you are buying an Acura in NJ go do yourself a favor and see Anthony Pinto and the rest of the Open Road Acura sales team.

Our experience at Open Road Acuira has been one of the most pleasant car leasing experiences we have ever had. In the past we have dealt with other Acura dealers. Everyone made us feel that that they were extremely interested and concerned that we were happy both emotionally and economically with our new car lease experience. Although we initially intended to purchase the car, Anthony and Eric gave us good dollars and cents reasoning that the best and most economical way we could enjoy the 2012 TL would be with a lease. We are very satisfied with the lease payments and the value we obtained for our 2012 TL. The TL is an excellent car, the ride is great and the sound system is awesome. What more can anyone want?

The whole Open Road team from the service department to the sales crewalways are professional, courteous and accomodating. This experience including the car delivery was hassle free and the pricing of the lease was fair. Since this was my second MDX I knew everything about the vehicle but Matteo still spent as much time as needed to go over the few things that did change. Not only would I highly recommend this dealership but probably will be back in 3 years when my lease is up.

This was by far the easiest car purchase I have ever made. I received an email from Cally saying that according to the records, my 2009 MDX had equity and if I was interested in getting into a new model at the same leasepayment, I should come in. So, I did. I was disappointed at first that Antonella's offer to me was asking for $3,800 down at signing. I could have gotten better with the current offer online which is available to anyone off the street. The offer is $0 down but had to pay bank fees, etc. In the end, I walked away with 0 down, no fees and a new 2012 MDX at the same mthly payment.

Melvin turned what could have been a very disappointing experience for me into a dream come true. He was open, honest, listened to my feedback and worked within the parameters I was communicating to him. Its refreshing to sit with a salesperson who's first instinct is to do what's right for you, versus close the sale. I came in to buy a used MDX and walked out with a brand new one and still felt like I made the best decision. Kudos to Melvin on a job well done. I'll be bringing him the Jamaican Rum Punch I promised after we sealed the deal. He'll also be talking to some of my friends as I will highly recommend him as they embark on their car purchase journeys.

Anthony and Barry were both very helpful in assisting me. I had been considering several other vehicle manufacturers prior to deciding upon Acura. Anthony and Barry were not only informative, but they made sure that I was comfortable with my decision to get an Acura. In the end, that is what made me happy with the choice that I made.

My experience at Open Road Acura was wonderful, I actually had fun buying a car there. No pressure, and they all had a great sense of humor, which is my style. Antonella is a professionsl. If you go there say hello to Dapper Geo. The TSX is a terrific car, and I am very happy with my decision.

Working with Kevin Mooney and his colleagues was a breeze. I was able to get a pre-owned 2012 MDX at the price I wanted. More importantly, Kevin was forthright and accommodating throughout the purchase process. He even picked me up at the train station on the day I took delivery. I also want to point out that Renee Depuy, my first contact at the dealership, was very professional and responsive to my requests. I really appreciated her helpful, non-pushy approach to client interaction.

I knew what car I wanted and called dealership to shop around for a price. Melvin answered all my questions over the phone, we agreed on price, he send me a web site link for credit application. Next day I came to dealership and was out with new car under an hour. Simple and straight forward deal.

By far the worst car buying experience of my life. The people were rude and extremely pushy. I felt like I was getting taken advantage of the moment I arrived. The day after I left the dealership for poor service, I rec'd a call from them saying they would lower the price and I accepted... bad mistake. I have rec;d little to no customer service. They all talk like a bunch of wise guys.... when they do talk to me they refer to me as sweetie... NEVER BUY FROM THEM

I had a pleasure of working with John Genovese and I am truly grateful for the chance to purchase my vehicle from the great dealership. Great customer service, patience, professionalism and most important no pressure attitude. It just felt right to bring my business to your dealership, I felt comfortable, and I felt respected and that is somehow a rare find in the used car business. Thumbs up!

I was looking for a MDX on cars.com and it lead me to one which was just listed from Open Road Acura. I used cars.com the next morning, which was a Saturday, to express my interest in the car and received a call from the dealership within 30 minutes from Cally. We spoke about the car and what I was looking for and she answered the few questions I had about the car and the process I was going to go through. I called Cally back later that day to setup an appointment that night. My appointment was with Michael. He was very knowledgeable about the car and a pleasure to interact with. The car was in great shape and exactly what my wife and I were looking for. We agreed on a fair price. Ron was able to get me a very good rate for financing through the dealership. Overall everyone we spoke with, including other salespeople and lady working the register were pleasant, helpful, courteous, and engaging. The dealership was very pretty and comfortable. This purchase caused me no stress and I feel comfortable with my choice. Most importantly my wife is extremely happy with her new car.

The car buying experience at Open Road Acura of East Brunswick has been truly exceptional. I walked in into the dealership after reading the reviews online and did not regret it. With the professional, knowledgable and friendly staff, the whole experience was very satisfying right from the price, options, financing and delivery. We interacted with Tarak Mehta who made our experience very enjoyable. Although the MDX with our color choice was not readily available, Tarak kept us updated with the expected delivery date and in fact surprised us with the delivery 2 weeks ahead of the expected date. He was a pleasure to interact with. After an exceptional sales process, Ron made the finance process very easy and fast. He explained all the options available in simple terms and made us get through it extremely fast.Overall a great experience and definitely recommended for anyone looking for an Acura vehicle.

Worked with Calle on internet.Very nice to work with.Went to test drive and finalize deal and worked with Mike. All went well until delivery of car.Dealership pulled a fast one and requested additional down payment at day of delivery after agreeing to my deal that had their sales manager signature on sales order. Would not deliver car under terms of signed agreement and I decided to get my money back and go to another Acura dealer I was working with.Wound up getting best deal at Acura of Ocean - No problems - Easy to do business with and no suprises.Love my new TL !

I went in to service my previous Acura vehicle (2009 TSX Lease) and an opportunity was offered to me that I could not refuse. It put me in a more advanced Acura and maintained my monthly payment in the same price range with a small down payment. It was hassle free and very honest. While the paperwork was completed I was asked if I needed anything( beverages, etc..) and they made sure I was comfortable while I waited. The vehicle was given to me in excellent condition and all my questions about the vehicle was properly answered. I was also taught about the major highlights the vehicle has and how to operate them. The staff was friendly and patient.

The staff at Open Road Acura of East Brunswick were kind and courteous. They were as excited to show my family and I the features of the Acura MDX as we were to see it. Their professionalism saved the sale for Acura. After a very poor experience with the General Manager of the Acura dealer on Rt 22 who was rude and obnoxious during our visit, John and Ralph were a significant upgrade in personality and professionalism. The store and showroom are also first class. You feel like you're in a place that cares about you. They're totally recreating the consumer perception of the car dealership. Nice job Open Road, and thank you John Genovese!!!(not to beat a dead horse, but SHAME on the GM of Springfield Acura on Rt. 22 in NJ! I would sooner walk than buy a car from them. Open Road saved the Acura name!)Tom and Christine Wonica

Although I do love my new TSX, I still favor my previous 2005 TSX. I am glad my son will be getting my 2005 TSX. Personally, my new 2011 TSX seems a bit bulky and I noticed the weight class has increased. This concerns me when the car is due for registration renewal. The ride in general is exquisite, as always. I am sure the performance of the car will far exceed my expectations.

I am very satisfied with my purchasing experience at Open Road Acura of East Brunswick. Not only I got a great price on 2011 Acura MDX, I truly enjoyed the customer service that I received at this dealership. Matteo Mannino is the best car sales person I have ever met. Ron Graybush also did a great job in helping us get the financing done in an very efficient fashion. Steve Flaster is a great sales manager who patiently helped us make the final decision to buy this car through financing at this dealership. Overall, I would like to rank this Acura dealership the best in New Jersey.

Overall ,this is the best exerience my wife and I have had with a car dealer. The primary reason was the positive interaction with the Sales Consultant, Mike Messina. His frendly, low key approach made the difference. We leased two cars and felt that we were fairly dealt with by Mike and the Sales Manager,Ralph. Mike went out of his way to make the experience a very postive one. I have always been impressed with the Service Department and this experience with the Sales Department ensures that we will strongly recommend Open Road Acura. Since 1990 me have now leased 15 Acuras and continue to be very happy with this choice.

Our recent experience in leasing a 2011 RDX was quite pleasant due to Barry Chaskes and the rest of the team at Open Road Acura in East Brunswick. To be honest, when shopping for a new TL, I did not have a good experience five years ago with Open Road Acura of East Brunswick. At that time the sales rep was excessively pushy and I wound up buying my third Acura from Precision Acura of Lawrenceville (the first two were purchased from Ocean Acura). This time I figured I'd give Open Road Acura a second chance, but I did not expect very much. To say that I was pleasantly surprised is an understatement. After inquiring on line, Cally Pivano Tendrick from the Open Road Business Office promptly called me and set-up an appointent for that afternoon. When I arrived, I was very well received by Cally and other sales personnel. Aside from asking if I had any questions or needed assistance, the sales people allowed me to roam about, sitting in floor models to test fit them without the pushiness that I experienced my first visit to Open Road. When I was done inspecting the models, Cally asigned me to a sales rep, Anthony Mayfield. Having purchased over 12 cars in the past, I was ready for the inevitable negotiations game that precedes the purchase of a car from a dealer. However, Anthony made the process easy, and by far, the least adversarial experience in my car purchasing history. The finance officer, Mike, finished the process in a very pleasnt manner.I have to give a "10" to all the personnel I encountered that day. There's no question that from now on, I will be buying my next Acura form Open Road. Paul Pittari

Very friendly environment made the dealing stress free and without any pressure. I expected better price for the trade-in,but overall experience was very pleasant. I had recently visited the dealer ship after many emails threw Cally leading me there . I had asked multiple times to not waste my time to give me a ruff estimate, she never provided so my husband , I & my 3 children decided to take a ride and get a price from them. After going out of my way to go there & walked into a vet in welcomed environment and attacked by 3 different people being Cally, another sales woman and Steve a manager which totally arrogant and rude. Totally against us trading and payments was ridiculous . I was very upset and sick over how this experience was. I would never recommend them or go back. They led me on& lied. I have leased many cars & a mercedes which was unbelievable experience. I will go back there where I was happy 100%

My purchase of a 2012 TL was the best car buying experience of my life!I was almost killed in an accident with the 2008TL that I leased from Open Road in September of 2010 and was only recently cleared to drive again. I do believe that the car and the power of prayer saved my life! I must say that Geno was very understanding, kind and knowledgeable. He made my decision easy and his reassurance was very much appreciated.I love my new car even more than I did the 2008. It was Geno's thoughtfulness and encouragement that made it all so easy to do again.I would recommend your dealership to anyone! I am so grateful that Geno was just great!

Bought a used BMW over the phone and I have to tell you, if you are even one bit worried about buying a car that is not right next to your house, Open Road Acura is the place to go. I spoke with Bill over the phone several times and I was struck by his honesty and the fact that he was so direct and accurate about all the facts I wanted to know. He never once tried to sell me, he was genuinely interested with my satisfaction. His communication was always accurate and his return calls were always timely. When my wife and I arrived at the dealership I could tell that they were operating as a team. Everyone we interacted with was very knowledgeable and friendly and you could tell that they enjoyed working there. It was looking for a specific color in my car and I found everything I was looking for at Open road. Fantastic price, a car that is 100% in tip top shape, a dealership that is supportive before during and after the sale and never once did I have a concern with the honesty of the dealership. Buying a car over the internet/phone can conjure up concern of the risks or am I making a mistake but it is a dealership like open road that puts trust in car dealerships. I did not have a good experience at Open Road Acura of East Brunswick. At first, Charlie and everyone else encountered were very nice. After I purchased the car and went back for floor mats etc. I was treated as though I didn't exist. I made an appointment to pick up the floor mats. I don't know why I had to go there to do this but I figured it was procedure. I do not live near East Brunswick. I left work early to make it to the 6:30pm appointment. Charlie was no where to be found. The sales manager, Steve I think his name is, acted as though he'd never seen me before and said, "Charlie is with a client" while walking past me and not even stopping. I sat next to Steve for four hours the weekend before; he paid no attention to me. I then proceeded to wait about 45 minutes for someone to try and help me. The floor mats were behind Charlie's desk which apparantley no one else knew or could help me with. Once Charlie returned from his test drive, I expected him to come right out to help me or at least send someone else out. This did not happen and I left VERY annoyed. The mats were then shipped to my house. So why did I have to drive to the dealership in the first place?! Another incident was my license plates. The temp plate expired March 13th. By March 11th, I still had not received a call saying the plates were in. I called the dealership and the receptionist aske me, "When do you temps expire?" I replied "March 13th which is this Monday coming up." To which she then VERY nastily replied, "Actually, it's Sunday, March 13th is this Sunday." She then put me on hold, came back and stated that I had been called on Febuary 22nd and left a message that the plates were in. I did NOT receive a call OR a message; I am 100% positive. She then very nastily again told me I could come pick them up. I went to pick the plates up and was told I could get someone to put them on if I could manage to "flag down the valet." I didn't feel like being made a fool out of again so I did no such thing; my husband put them on himself. Also, this was my first time buying a certified pre-owned (or used of any kind) car. Charlie knew this and stil he never mentioned to me, nor did anyone else that I would have to take the car to inspection!!! I received a little pink card with my plates stating I needed to take the car to inspection within 10 days of the date on the card (the date was February 20th and it was now March 12th). So I had to race to inspection, wait in a REALLY long line then go over to the garage and BEG them for a sticker since it was 12:01 PM on a Saturday.I honestly feel like as soon as I bought the car, I was garbage, they had my money so I wasn't worth anything to anyone at Open Road Acura. I also felt a little discriminated against being a young woman. I felt that if I was a man that had spent more money or whatever, that I would have been treated with much more respect. I didn't like my first experience with Open Road Acura two years ago when I leased a new TSX. I worked with Matteo that time and I found him to be very short tempered and not nice at all. I went back this time hoping for a better experience and I did not get that at all. I will never, EVER buy another car from Open Road Acura again; honestly, I don't even want to buy another Acura. I received better service when purchasing my Hondas. I work at a huge, HUGE company where I work in International HR/Relocation. I refer hundreds of people to area car dealerships and I will never refer anyone to Open Road or any other Acura dealership for that matter. I'm really very very disappointed with my experience.Update 9/20/2011I would just like to provide an update. I was promised a free oil change months ago when this bad experience first happend. Now the manger is telling me that since I refused to take my negative review off dealer rater that I will not get the oil change. I guess Open Road Acura of East Brunswick was trying to bribe me and I didn't realize it.

We had a very good experience at Open Road Acura on Route 18. Our salesperson was knowledgeable, and we received good service. This is our second Acura and had a good experience the first time around as well. We received immediate attention and brought home our car when it was promised.

My family has purchased 3 Honda's from Open Road and this is my first Acura. Although I looked around at other Acura dealers I never would have made my purchase anywhere else. No one had a better deal and no one else had the customer service to match. The folks at Open Road are a pleasure to deal with. They follow up, call back, answer questions and are willing to work with their customers to make the process seamless. Thank you.

I was very impressed with the sales person Antonella Zuckerman, she had the right answers that made my decision that I would purchase the mdx from open road of east brunswick. The price was right for me. Also the service dept mgr ED promptly set me for an appointment to have the simonize option put on my vehicle. I am a satisfied customer.

Both Cally and John were very professional in the manor in which they handeled the whole process. They made me feel very much at home - clearly answered all my questions and even pointed out alternatives to me that saved me money. When I think of Cally and John the words Polite, courteous, accommondating, caring and of course professionlism come to mind.Note - this is my third Lease from this dealership.

Melvin was helpful and informative without being pushy. He listened to what my wife and were interested in and did his best to stay within the price range we indicated. Upon closing of the sale Melvin took time to go over every nuance of the vehicle. He was a pleasure to work.

The staff was extremely friendly, very cooperative and accommodating. They made the entire experience very pleasant and painless. We were initially unsure of what vehicle to buy, and we were upfront and honest with Anatolella about it, and there was no apprehension on her part regarding this. She was responsive and quick to call back when we left messages. I would definitely go back there for future purchases.

I was very pleased with everyone I dealt with. My only complaint is that the interest rates obtained for my loan for a used vehicle were not as good as I had hoped, considering the interest rates for new vehicles are so low and I have excellent credit.

I think customer service is great because my first talk with Mary Gebhardt was excellent. She is very friendly and made me feel very welcome and made me think that open road acura is the best dealer. However my overall experience is only good, because on the buyers guide under features is listed that the cargo net is included on the price of the car. The sales consultant told me that I had to buy it which I did trusting her word. I want a refund for the cargo net. I think this is false advertisement.

Sam was a gentleman to me and my family. Sam is the main reason for my return visit in which I leased the new 2011 Acura 2011 MDX w/Tech & ENT. He answered all my questions and was very polite and not like a typical salesman. He did not push me into a deal I would have regreted later on. When the numbers were close Ralph came to see me, again very friendly and polite. They went above and beyond what they had to to make the deal. I got the price I wanted with no hassle.I will definatly recommend Sam and Open Road Acura to my friends and family.

My brother-in-law and I walked inn into Open Road Acura in East Brunswick NJ to just shop around for a used car. As we walked inn, we were great by this young gentlemen called Tarak Mehta. He was so welcoming greeted us as if he knew us for ages (this made us feel we are really welcomed there) offered us some refreshments too as well. Then we walked around the car lot to see what they have. Finally we saw a car we liked, and then we went and settled the deal. Over all this dealership has great sales representatives who work with your needs, and try to see what is really best for you and keeping your financials in mind. They will not just a throw a car at you randomly and would not put any kind of pressure like how most dealers do. I high recommend this Open Road Acura for the place to buy your next dream car or even if you just need a regular car for your day to day use. Also keep in mind they just dont sell Acuras they sell many other manufacturers. I have seen it with my own eyes and plus due to we bought an Infiniti from them.

We came to open road Acura to get a new car and were greeted by Maggie Khalil. She is a very pleasant young woman, who gave us outstanding customer service. She was very friendly, cooperative, and took us to the parking lot to show us the colors of the new Acura models. Even though we didn't get a good deal the first time we came, she fought to keep us as customers, and gave us a great price later that week. When we came to pickup the car, all the paperwork was ready for us, and everything went smoothly. We had a great overall experience. Thank you Maggie.

Maggie was responsive and extremely helpful in every way--friendly, courteous and patient. She knew everything I needed to understand about the new car and helped with setting up some of the features and demonstrating how they worked. She also provided a helpful comparison of features and never seemed rushed even on a very busy day at the dealership. Steve helped us reach terms of sale in a direct and straightforward way that wasn't pushy. We appreciated this.

Alex the salesperson was extremely thorough in his handling of the details of the transaction. He was also thorough in the way he trained me in the vehicle's different functions. Alex was very kind and extemely helpful. Steve Flaster did everything he could to make sure my needs were met in the purchasing process. Steve did an excellent job throughout, from the moment I stepped into the dealership until the papers were signed. He is all about service and made me feel comfortable throughout the process. When I realized that I left my EZPass in the old vehicle and called him about it, he quickly retrieved the transponder from my old vehicle and had it ready when I returned. he also found that I left sunglasses in the overhead holder. He was great. Cally made sure that she kept in touch with me and arranged my appointments according to my busy schedule. When I had cancelled at the last minute a couple of times Cally was quick to reschedule and made it work for me. She always followed up with a call to make sure all was taken care of. Amy was a real pleasure to work with. She is extremely down to earth and easy to talk to. She really bent over backwards to meet my requests and challenges during the process and definitely went above and beyond. Amy answered all of my questions and addressed all of my concerns. It was a pleasure working with Amy. She is definitely a tremendous asset to your organization. I am a returning customer and I look forward to doing it all again in 3 years.

Though our interaction started off poorly (they did not give me a quote I requested on line), we did buy from there because it was the best price available. Michael was courteous, profesional and helpful. Overall, if you have your homework done, this is a right place for you.

This the second vehicle I have leased from them this year. I am a twenty year customer of Acura and I have leased seventeen cars in that time. They are especially concerned that their customers are treated right and I was no exception. I would recommend anyone to this dealership. No wonder they are the number one dealer in the region.

The only reason for the "4" or "good" on price is that 2011 model year autos are out. The 2010 model year is already 1 year old. The auto I purchased is a model 2010. And since the car depreciates as soon as you leave the lot, I should have been given a little more off the price.

The only downside to the experience was that the vehicle was not ready for me when I arrived in spite of the fact that the pick up was arranged a week in advance. It needed to be cleaned and ?waxed before I received it and that was not done until I arrived to pick the car up. It should have been done the day before and left inside until pick up the next morning.Melvin Morales was very friendly and helpful. I think Open Road is very lucky to have him as a salesman!

My experience with Open Road Acura was very pleasant and stress-free. I was very pleased with the flexibility and quality customer service provided by both Maggie and Steve. In negotiating a payment plan I was able to reach a number that I was comfortable with. Maggie was especially helpful the day I picked up my car as she set me up and showed me several features so that I can easily use my new car.

I visited the dealership on Sat. Spoke with the manager Steve. Told him that I am planning to buy Acura MDX and just looking for the best price. He gave me a quote. I had been to Acura of Ocean before, that is nearby my house. Went to Acura of Ocean on Mon and told them if you beat the price of East Brunswick Acura, I am buying the vehicle right now. They played games with me for > an hour but never gave me a clear answer. I drove to East Brunswick dealership from there, met with Steve who said "Congratulations". Signed the papers on Mon and drove with vehicle home on Tue. It was a painless experience.

We had a 2008 Acura RDX purchased from this dealership. Our experience then was great, so we came back. Our salesman, Charles Smith, was very helpful and did not pressure us to get a new car. We actually left the dealership after our first visit without one. Mr. Smith kept in touch and we came back and drove home in our new car. Every member of the team did a great job. Thank you.

We had a very unusual experience in getting the car but in the end, Antonella and the team at Acura went above and beyond to secure our car. The initial customer contact (and great customer service) with Mary Gebhardt brought me to this dealership, vs another only 10 minutes away. The professional and friendly service Antonella provided to us kept us at Open Road. I could not give the overall experience a 5 due to the extenuating circumstances surrounding the purchase. But we are extremely satisfied with Open Road (so far) and think Antonella and Mary should get a raise!! :)

I can honestly say that his was by far the best car purchase experience I have ever had. I had been promised a price from another dealer over the phone only to find out it was completely different when I got there. So I when I contacted open road I was apprehensive. Instead I spoke to Cally who assured me they wouldn't do that to me. When I arrived, she introduced me to Michael Mayfield and he was a true professional. I got my MDX at a great price and was treated with respect. I would definitely recommend this dealer and will refer my family and friends.

I live in Wayne and I was at their other dealership here I was in the market for a certified car. While i was at the dealership in wayne I looked at a few cars I really didn't like the condition of their cars. So I called open road Acura of east Brunswick spoke to Tarak in sales department which was very nice and asked him to walk out to the car I liked there and describe the overall condition of the car. He tells me the cars was like new and in excellent condition, he also mentioned that he wouldn't tell me that just to get me in, I was a little skeptical. I took his word for it and drove down there. I have to say he did NOT lie. The car was Great shape just like he said. Everything he explained was accurate. We then worked out a great deal on the car and I drove it home the same night. Everyone at the dealership was very nice and it was just a overall excellent experience. Usually car buying is a nightmare but he made it so easy. I would recommend this dealership to everyone. My mother is now actually in the market as well now, Guess where we are going? The managers were very nice as well.If i can rate this dealership from 1 to 10 I would say it's a 20.

This dealership was friendly but they tried to get me to leave a deposit before we agreed on a price. Do your homework before entering any dealership...I highly recommend anyone in the market for a new car read http://carbuyingtips.com. This website has all kinds of tools including a spreadsheet that helps you calculate a fair offer that you can email out to dealers before entering the dealership. Because of this website we were able to get the car we wanted for about $1,000 over invoice at Open Road Acura of Wayne...they even threw in the $810 destination fee.

I visited this dealership about a year ago to lease a new MDX and trade-in my current car. I was absolutely shocked at the experience. First of all, they offered me a price which was about 50% of my car's KBB trade-in value. I told them it was a joke and, after 1 hour of waiting, they gave me another $400! Their excuse was: "You have to understand that people do not come to Acura to buy a used Chrysler." Amazing. I told them that I did not care and that I wanted a market value trade-in price. They then refused to show me the details on the lease they were offering -- i.e., price, residual, money factor, etc. After 3 completely wasted hours, I got up and walked out. The amazing this is, they did not seem to care and no one even tried to stop me. Well, a few days ago, I went to the Precision Acura of Princeton. The experience was like night and day. They were excellent, fair, pleasant and easy to deal with. I leased a 2010 RDX and was thrilled with the experience. I am still amazed that Open Road Acura somehow remains in business. I will never return to them. Precision Acura of Princeton it is for me in the future!

The saleswoman was wonderful. However the manager was a creep. Along with the finance manager which was a total creep. The manager was set on his price for a used tl which was a decent price compared to other dealer. They gave a very low price for my trade which was my fault because I should have sold it outright. The worst part was the manager actually told me that when I leave they are changing the price of the car and making it 1000 more. So after many headaches and searching for months for a car I bought it. He was very rude. The finance manager was a different story. He was just absolutly misereable and annoyed with all of my questions. He was so annoyed that he continued to mess the paperwork up. I was there for five hours total. It equaled about six cups of coffee. All because mr finance wasn't doing his job. Bottom line the sales team should run the place. They are friendly. The rest of them stink!!!!

We were planning to purchase an Acura. This would be our second car, so we were open to either the TSX, TL or MDX. We had gotten a quote from them over the internet for a TSX. However when we got there, the general or sales manager was stern and accusatory. The initial sales team were pleasant. The negiotiations took a downturn, when the sales managers' exact comments were "if you did your homework, ...." This is truly an unprofessional comment. It was amazing the dealership would end the deal and lose a purchse of $28k over a mere $2 to $3k. The quote was not from us, it was from their dealership. They should learn never to undermind their customers, their own quotes, especially in economic downturns times. Acura's are good cars, but at the end we purchased a 2010 Lexus RX 350. Lexus dealer knew how to treat their negotiations with fairness. Therefore the bottom line is, don't insult or treat potential customers like we're not prepared. Open Road Acura's lost, not ours.

First of all I stood in the showroom for about 15 minutes before someone came to ask If I was being helped( first mistake). I wanted a quote on my Acura TL 2006, I still have over a year left on my lease....I wanted to inquiry If they buy the remaining lease, I wanted to purchase a used one. First, I got the run around, then the general manager came out and told me he could get me a new 2009 but my payments would be higher than I'm paying now. Basically, the bottom line they didn't want to buy back the car. It seems this car dealer doesn't understand the concept of working with people. I would never go to this dealer or advise anyone I know to use it.....I took my business elsewhere.

I would never go back to this dealer, even if they had the exact car I wanted. I had cash in hand for the entire car, not for financing and they were not willing to take more than $200 off the price of the vehicle, which isn't much on a $20,000 car. The price advertised online was $18,995 for the car I was going in to look at. They came back at me saying that the car was $21,995 once I got there but that they could "let it go" for $19,995. Meanwhile, we were standing next to the newspaper ad from that weekend with the same car listed for $18,990. Their idea of a deal is telling you a higher price than the vehicle is advertised at and then taking some money off of that. They kept us there for a long time telling us how they are losing money on this car, how its certified and they can't take any more money off. They were also not up front about the condition of the car as it had been in an accident, they neglected to tell us that until I asked to see the CarFax printed out.

we are owner/lessees of 5 acuras... all from this dealership. we have a 2005 to return (TSX WITH NAVIGATION) WE WANTED TO LEASE A 2009 TSX WITH NAV AGAIN... AFTER NUMEROUS DISCUSSIONS AND BACK AND FORTH WITH THE SALESMAN AN AGREED UPON PRICE OF 378 WAS REACHED FOR 42 MONTHS.. ALL FOUR OF US THERE CONTINUALLY REITERATED THAT THIS WAS THE PRICE FOR A 2009 TSX WITH HIGH TECH PACKAGE.. THE SALESMAN GOES BACK AGAIN TO THE MANAGER AND THE DEAL IS DONE.. ALL THAT WAS LEFT WAS TO FIND THE COLOR MY DAUGHTER WANTED... AFTER 1 WEEK WITH NO RESPONSES TO OUR CALLS... WE WENT DOWN AND THEY CLAIMED THAT THE SALESMAN MISQUOTED. THE PRICE WOULD NOW BE $438. THEY WERE UNWILLING TO NEGOTIATE... I SAID WE WOULD GO UP TO $405. THEY SAID NO WAY... ANDJUST GAVE US BACK OUR DEPOSIT. CONSIDERING HW MANY CARS WE BOUGHT FROM THEM AND ALL THE REFERRALS WE HAVE MADE....I FOUND IT INCREDULOUS THAT THEY WOULD LOSE A CUSTOMER OVER THIS SMALL AMOUNT OF LOSS ( HHAHAHA) ON THEIR PART... THEY SPEND THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS TO BRING IN CUSTOMERS...THIS WOULD HAVE AMOUNTED TO THEIR LOSS OF ABOUT 25 DOLLARS A MONTH FOR 42 MONTHS... THIS HAS LEFT US WITH A NEGATIVE IMPRESSION OF THIS DEALERSHIP. BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN DEALING WITH THEM...

It has been 14 days since my temporary tag expired and they still have not given me my tags and registration yet. When I called to ask about them, they lied and said they were going to overnight my tags to me that day, when in fact, the tags weren't even prepared yet. They are only concerned with making the sale and not with following through. I was very disappointed with my experience there.
