Had an appointment at 7:30. Was a few minutes late but they accepted me quick! I only waited for an hour but felt like 30 minutes to be honest! Which I loved! They took care of me, no problem 🙂

I usually come here for oil maintenance and any other services for the last 5yrs. Today I had a terrible experience. My appointment was at 7:30am and I was punctual. There were 5 cars ahead of me and 4-5 cars came after me with 3 lanes of cars waiting. The several cars that came after me were attended before me and I was made to wait with no explanation. I felt discriminated against me. If you can give an explanation why it happened, you can check the cameras in the service driveway. They quoted me to change the car battery at $200, I just think its too expensive and not a competitive price. If you can please get back to me why I was not helped promptly I would appreciate it. I would think twice before coming to this dealership.

Wanted to have a cat shield put on my new Toyota, which I had bought elsewhere. I had several quotes from other mechanics, but to my surprise the price at this dealership was very competitive, and I was able to get it installed right away . And they arranged for a Lyft both ways! Excellent customer service and very nicely appointed dealership .

Courteous and professional team. It’s great to go to a place where you can strike up a natural conversation instead of being fed a script. The work was done correctly and the car was ready when promised. I liked the ability to pay for the service through a text (taking your to a secure site) before coming back to the service area. A really pleasant first experience.

On July 18, I called the dealership to check on the availability of one tire for my new 2016 Prius 4 Touring. I had suffered a flat tire on the road the previous day, and since Toyota no longer provides a spare tire in Prius vehicles, I used the tire repair kit provided with the car. I was warned at the time that there would be 2 results from doing so: First, the tire would henceforth be unrepairable (which it was), and second, the TPMS sensor would also be rendered useless (bingo!) Sadly (and I am sure Toyota is well aware of all these things), I had no choice but to utilize the "tools" provided and, as noted, both of the suggested results turned out to be accurate.I called the service department on the morning of the 18th, and they ordered the tire for me, to be delivered to the dealership that afternoon. I arrived at the dealership around noon. After a 20 minute wait (odd to me, since there were no customers in sight) the service writer (a nice guy struggling with a malfunctioning computer system) completed my service request, and provided a receipt with no amount shown. He indicated that he would call when the tire arrived, at which time I had hoped to engage in a discussion of the costs associated with the transaction. That call never came. I tried on 2 occasions to contact the service department for an update, but after waiting on hold for 15 minutes each time, I abandoned the effort. I finally received a voice mail message at about 4:30 indicating that the car was ready for pickup.I arrived and was presented with the bill, which totaled $347. The tire was $196 plus tax, and the TPMS sensor assembly was $119. Once the bill was finally rung up for payment, it totaled $367, as a $20 charge for labor had been omitted. Nothing was explained to me about the bill or the confusion. Oh, well...After returning home, I decided to validate the prices charged by the dealership against prices for the same items on line. Although the tire is hard to find, the price when you do find it is about $150. The TPMS sensor assembly (42697-52020) can be found on Amazon for prices ranging from $65 to $80. Those are RETAIL prices! The dealership then adds another 25% to the retail price to pay, one might imagine, for the shiny new facility in which they find themselves. So in addition to some of the worst customer service I have ever seen (15 minutes of waiting and no one ever answers...seriously?), I get gouged by absolutely stupid prices. Certainly no surprise by this point - I personally am done with the dealership, and I share this experience in the hope of increasing awareness of their abominable customer service and outrageous pricing. They really need to pay more attention to their business, and not just their pretty new building.

Today I brought in my car for its periodic check-up (oil, water, etc). I was hoping that the service staff weren't going to ignore me, then be rude and dismissive again. That's what happened in December. Little did I know...I pulled into the 'no appointment' line around 11:30 AM. No one greeted me. A couple men in black shirts and trousers walked past, with no acknowledgement. Another car pulled up behind us, was immediately acknowledged by a staff member. Greeted and helped. It was surreal, to Toyota service staff I did not exist. If someone pulls up behind you, they shouldn't get helped first, right? For reference, I was in a t-shirt and jeans. I was clean shaven. I wasn't wearing fancy clothes, but I didn't look unkempt. Even if I were, that shouldn't make a difference in how I'm treated. I walked into the building and tried to talk to the service staff. For a couple minutes I was talked over and ignored. Finally one of the staff pointed outside where one of the men in black clothes who had ignored me previously was examining the car. I went outside because if someone is investigating my car I'm going to at least speak to them. He didn't return my greeting, merely grunted about keys in the car. After a few minutes of looking at the car he went inside the building without a word. I stood there for a minute wondering what I should do. Finally he opens the door, and with an annoyed expression and waves me in. I followed him into the building and was sent to a service manager. I was informed that lunch was starting, I would have to wait until 5pm (5 hours) before my car was ready. Also, the service manager clearly didn't want to speak to me, wanted to get his meeting with me over. His attitude was atrocious. Finally, I had enough. I asked if he could cancel my service contract and he said I had to talk to sales. Why sales is responsible for service contracts but the service department isn't is completely beyond me. I suspect the service manager just wanted to off-load me to someone else.At this point I was done. I left Toyota Northridge in disgust. This was even worse than my last experience with Toyota Northridge in December. There is a clear pattern of ignoring and treating some customers with contempt. After how I was treated I refuse to be part of a bureaucratic game of pong, bounced from one manager to another. If Toyota Northridge reads this review, I want my service contract canceled. Immediately. I will not pay for this kind of service. I will not be ignored. I will not be off-loaded to someone else. I will be treated with respect and dignity.

I finally got the car that I was dreaming about for a while! I got an Avalon 2016! I went expecting the process to take so long, but with the help of Marcy Liu and Katherine I was able to get this great deal. I loved how these women worked with me and knew what I wanted and the technology I wanted in my car. I would definitely recommend the sales women that I dealt with for my deal!

I've tried for over a week to get a hold of anyone from the financial department and it seems that I have to drive there to talk to someone because I've left voice mails to return my calls and called every day and nothing they are always busy. I've always had terrible experiences at car dealerships and this one is no exception. Horrible horrible experience

My husband and I bought our Toyota Sienna at Northridge Toyota dealership with Marcy Liu as the sales woman. My husband's car had broken down and went to get it serviced. We found out that day that the car wouldn't drive again. Naturally we were a little panicked as to what to do. That weekend we did our research and actually visited a couple of dealerships (not easy when you have 2 little ones). I can honestly say the experience we had at Northridge Toyota with Marcy Liu was stellar. My husband and I had to go separately (since it's not fun at all to go car shopping with a toddler and infant, trust me!), so one can stay home with the kids. The negotiation process was not as stressful that I was expecting. Marcy was really professional and she knows her stuff when it comes to the car specifications. I also like the new building and everyone I met there was so friendly from the start. We were not planning on buying a new car so suddenly but we absolutely love our new car. A stressful situation worked out really well thanks to Marcy Liu and the Northridge Toyota dealership.

I've had previous bad experiences at this dealer in the past, and recently decided to give them another shot after some 10 years, but they still have a problem with their manager 'Paul.' Paul became pretty rude after he realized we knew what we were talking about when it came to investigating the details of the lease they were offering us. Especially after we began asking questions about what residual and money factor they had used for their calcs. He completely refused to disclose any details. I asked him several times if this was 'secret' information that he was guarding and that seemed to irritate him even more. Pretty much black listed them for life at this point.

This review is for Rosie Pineyra who has assisted me and my father for our separate cars for over 6 months. Rosie is professional, kind, efficient and helpful. She has gone above and beyond for me. She knows I travel a lot between the valley and the bay and always asks questions to ensure my needs are met. Though I haven't had any issues with my 2015 Corolla she makes sure that I feel safe and that even the slightest issues are addressed. Like I had an issue with a stain on the upholstery in my car and she proactively found a solution for how I can clean the stain- calling me a week after my visit (I had already forgotten about it) to tell me how I can care for the car if that happened again. I love Rosie! She's an asset to this location and I recommend her 100 percent!

Have been going there for 2 years. I trust them. When I have had issues, they addressed them. They have a great relationship with car rental place and it gives Toyota customers a great rate when your car is in the shop. Totally redid the dealership and it is beautiful. Lots of plug outlets for phones, iPads to recharge (really helps!!). Tim the service manager was very helpful recently when I was having trouble connecting with the dealership due to we were in Yosemite and in and out of phone service.

I got a car from here 2 weeks back. Apparently one of my colleagues bought the same car model the same weekend from Hamer. And guess what, he got a better deal. When I complained later, Northridge Toyota first made me wait for an hour and then did not agree to anything I had to say. The manager is not cordial and customer satisfaction is at the bottom of his list. His first aim is to make money for the dealership owner (this was his words!!) and then obviously for himself . For every deal that I asked on the day of the purchase, they made me wait for an hour each time to make it appear they were doing me a big favor. And now it all appears as drama they were doing to fool me. I have the invoice copy of the other car also. Very very disappointed with my purchase at this dealership and with my experience with the manager there.

We bought our Toyota 4Runner from Northridge Toyota. Our salesman was Jose Guerrero and he was sooo nice...not your typical pushy salesman. He listened carefully to what options we were looking for and took it from there. They didn't have the vehicle we were looking for in stock but within a short period had found it from another one of their lots and it was delivered to us by that afternoon. They mtached the other offers we had from two other dealerships and worked with us patiently. We ended up getting the vehicle we were looking for at a competitive price. The financing went through smoothly and we ended up getting a good rate and finally became the owners of a brand new, Toyota 4Runner with so many cool features and extras. Then Jose came and sat in our new car with us, patiently explaining and walking us through every feature and function of this beautiful machine. Jose is an affable, educated man with a Master's degree who knows how to treat his clients right. We strongly recommend him. After we drove off in our new car we received multiple emails from him asking us if everything was alright and if we had any questions or needed help with anything else. I am still in the process of learning all the features of this car including its super-advanced navigation and audio system, but I know if I have any questions I can comfortably get in touch with Jose and get personal attention from him.

If you are looking for a business that appreciates your business, and takes care of a situation with a dissatisfied customer to make sure they are happy, STAY AWAY. As a salesperson for many years, I take pride and demand the highest level of customer service. I purchased a car from here that I love, but unfortunately and stuck dealing with a company and people that couldn't care less about my business. I was going to wait to complete my purchase with cash in hand for my down-payment instead of using credit. The sales-rep of course wanted to sale, so I agreed and believed them when they PROMISED they would not cash this check unless I didn't bring in the down-payment by 4/15/2015. Well, just in case, since I work long hours and wouldn't be able to bring the cash in until 5:30/6 PM the day of 4/15/2015....I called the night before and left a message for the rep Evan LaFair who had been coordinating everything except the actual sale, because he wasn't there the day I could come in. On that day, I worked with Arthur, who was very accommodating to get the sale, but offered ZERO follow-up, ZERO accountability, AND STILL HASN"T CALLED ME TO MAKE SURE I WAS OK, even after they dropped the ball multiple times. By reviews, it confirms that he is great at keeping great situations great, but this is to assure you, that if there is something wrong with the sale, he gets the commish...but no accountability. Evan LaFair called me back within 5 minutes of receiving my voicemail, assuring me that he let Arthur know I would be coming in the next day and that I wouldn't have to worry about the check being cashed. I came in at 5:30 with the $$. Only to have a lady come tell me, I'm so sorry we sent the check off. This situation was escalated to Customer Relations Manager, Maria Serrano. Don't be fooled by the kind words, the offering of a free tank of gas, or the offer of a windown tint...because NONE of it has been followed up on, scheduled or paid mind to. I have follow up with Toyota Corporate and the best they have said I could do is wait to see if the Regional Office deems whether ramifications are necessary. If you want someone to value you business ...steer clear of: Northridge Toyota Maria Serrano- Customer Service Manager Sven - Internet Sales Manager Arthur - Sales Person Thanks Northridge of Toyota...Can't wait til I can bring my business to someone who values it. I will regret this for the next 3 years.

As a salesperson for many years, I take pride and demand the highest level of customer service. I purchased a car from here in April, and it began with a bit of a disconnect in departments causing a terribly rocky start to a 3-year leasing experience. My down-payment "Place holder" check was sent to the bank by the business office that was holding it, even-though I had notified the sales person the day before that I would be there (as planned) the next day. After the madness, I am hoping its safe to assume the protocol has been update, and the two departments (sales and business office) will have a better line of communication in being able to prevent these types of inconveniences, which negatively effect both the organization and the customer. It is tough to get an unhappy customer back to amiable standings, but they have done their best in the sales department to take care of me. With a window tint and a few tanks of gas, they have provided these concessions that helped somewhat restore the warm & fuzzies about my exciting new purchase of a car I am enjoying, Prius V. Just a warning, as I'm sure I am not the only human being who has ever run out of gas in their vehicle, if you run out of gas, you will have to have your car towed to Toyota and they will have to "reset" the computer in order for it to start again. I know, sounds silly, but just a heads up. I did find the service manager, Sarkis, to be quite genuine and I appreciate the help of Maria Serrano in doing her best in de-escalating multiple situations where I may have seemed inconsolable and over-the-top because of my passionate tendency.I hope that my interactions with this dealership can continue to get better and be positive, life is too short to be pissed about something you are going to be with for a few years.

From the moment we stepped onto the lot, Karo warmly greeted us and made us feel like welcomed guests. He absolutely took his time showing us various automobiles and never pressured us into buying something we didn't love. Buying a car is always tedious and he did his best to simplify the paperwork and explained every part of the deal. He worked with us to make sure our car was affordable and that we walked away happy. His follow-up has been top notch and I have to say that he was probably one of nicest salespeople that we have ever encountered. His manager Stefan was also extremely helpful and it was obvious that customer satisfaction was their number one priority. We look forward to returning in the future!

I have to say they have an excellent service and staff. I was helped by Jose Guerrero. He had knowledge of the cars and gave me a quick through with the car at first sign when I was searching and finally after what he showed me what I wanted, we went for a drive test. I have to say that the information provided was really helpful. The finance staff was quick but gave detail information of all the paper work and what we're the best rates for my payments. i got a corolla pre-owned, the car was well taken care of and filled up with gas. The Car is fuel efficient, now I save hundreds. I even got my car detailed. Overall I was really satisfied Jose and the rest of the finance staff and the welcoming experience at the dealership makes me recommend it to other people.

They promise 1.5 to 2 hours, but delivered after 3 hours. when you follow-up, they will tell you, all staff went for lunch , don't come on lunch time.. No value on appointment. careless staff. No commitment on time delivery. Don't EVER deal with these people. NO customer care..

I have to say these guys (Cesar and Jose) definitely went the extra mile to make sure we were getting the absolute best deal in terms of price, incentives, apr, and money down. Even though we threw them curve balls with a certain color (red) Toyota camry, they managed to hit a homerun with their professionalism and outstanding expertise. And how can you beat complimentary hot dogs, hamburgers and soft drinks...? You simply can't. You gotta check'em out.

I firmly believe Northridge Toyota, Northridge, CA is a one of the most competitive car dealerships I have encountered. Last month (September, 2014), I helped a friend purchasing a car and then decided to do business with Northridge Toyota. Honestly, it was an easy decision for us to make because of the excellent customer service they provided effectively and efficiently with an amicable approach. I was convinced that Northridge Toyota possibly hires the most qualified applicants for their sales team. During our car buying experience, we discussed our needs with Nilusha Fernando, who I rank as top 5% sales professional because of his professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm. Nilusha facilitated us selecting the best car to fulfill our needs. Because of Nilushas such characteristics, we were very impressed and ended up selecting and purchasing a Toyota Camry within a short period of time. Thank you, Nilusha and thank you Northridge Toyota for recruiting such superior professionals to your sales team!

Very attentive until the vehicle was purchased. Then their quality of service went completely out the window. Had to chase them around to get some minor pre-delivery items resolved. Literally had to threaten them with bad reviews a couple of weeks later when they wouldn't take any action to provide me with my loan information. So, decided to check into refinancing, and got a loan for 1.99% instead of the 3.75% Northridge Toyota gave me. Discovered at that point that my GAP Insurance would no longer be valid with my change of financing, so had to cancel the GAP Insurance. Still chasing down Mike, the finance manager at Northridge, for confirmation that he has properly forwarded the cancellation, since Toyota Finance still has no record of it being submitted. Not impressed with Toyota Finance either... they supposedly marked my account on the first day I called that I wished to cancel my GAP Insurance. Called back a couple weeks later to check on the status, and I'm told there's no note on my account indicating my cancellation of the GAP Insurance. All in all, not impressed with Northridge Toyota, or Toyota Finance...

This Dealership is the WORST, that I have ever experienced. I have had an assortment of new vehicles in the past but I have never met dealerships that scam, lie, fabricate and make excuses as Northridge Toyota. Their service is the WORST by far as their service Tech SERGIO and service manager JOHN and service foreman all make excuses to NOT fix your vehicle under warranty. They make things up as they go along and tell you a different story everytime. Rather than do the right thing and fix your vehicle properly, they give you the run-around everytime. I have had nothing but bad experiences since the first day I stepped onto their property. Please do yourself a huge favor and do not go to this dealership for anything!

The best of the best customer service. I contacted Nilusha to find out the availability of model that I was looking for and made an appointment to meet with him. I drove from San Pedro to Northridge just because of Nilusha. I'm glad that I went to him to purchase my car. We were laughing the whole time we were there. Buying a car and getting the deal that you want can be very streesful. Nilusha made the buying experience a pleasant one and I got the deal that I was looking for I will defenietly return to him at Northridge Toyota.

Appreciated the laid-back style of the dealership, as opposed to the usual car-sales attitude. Especially appreciated the knowledge, expertise, and service of Sven, the Internet Sales Manager. However, due to a rather green sales associate, the service ended up being too laid back, forcing us to repeatedly chase down the status and necessary details on the concerns we wanted checked prior to delivery of our newly purchased pre-owned vehicle. Still, I would not hesitate to purchase another car from Northridge Toyota as they certainly earned my trust as a customer. Good people.

Lets start off with saying, this is my first review I write and it has to do with the fact that my visit to Northridge toyota went extremely well. I had been looking for a new car for several months. I went to a few dealers including hammer toyota and universal city nissan. I had to deal with pushy sells men which even after I had told them I was just looking to explore my options and that I wasn't quite ready to buy a car, they got upset in the end because I didn't purchase a car. With that being said I decided to try Northridge toyota with a car already in mind. *CESAR MEJIA, the sells person who helped me was very friendly and honest and even found me a better car that was just right for me. He took into consideration what I was looking for and went the extra mile to work within my budget. He was able to get me the monthly payments I asked for! Which is definetly a plus. I didn't feel bombarded and was able to make a decision without any pressure. I highly recommend *CESAR MEJIA, for any future buyers that are looking to buy a car.

I came to the Northridge Toyota dealership really wanting to find a good car for a reasonable price. I was greeted by Nilusha as soon as I walked up to the dealership. He was very friendly and amazingly helpful. He took my roommate and me for a test drive in two Toyota Priuses (one being the used Prius that I wanted and the second one, a new Prius, just to see if there was a difference in the way that the used Prius drove). Nilusha had so much patience for me as I really debated whether or not I wanted to get the used Prius that I test drove. He helped negotiate the price so that I could get the best deal and sat with my roommate and me for the entire time. There was no doubt that he was doing all that he could to ensure that I left the dealership with the car and price that I wanted. Overall, although it was a very long process, I would say that I am definitely satisfied with the outcome!Thank you so much, Nilusha! You were great!!

I came to discuss turning in my leased Toyota; my appt was with Paul Brown. I discussed with him my displeasure with a sales rep and sales manager previously who did not have the time of day for me, and who let me walk out the door without buying/leasing another Toyota after 24 years of being a loyal Toyota customer. I decided to leave Toyota and move to a Nissan Rogue (which wasn't what I really wanted), after the very unpleasant experience with the sales agent and his manager. Paul listened to me, asked me to reconsider and stay with Toyota. He gave me a couple options which included 1) what I wanted - another RAV4; and most importantly 2) what I could afford. I would say our initial discussion was maybe 1/2 hour of which, Paul LISTENED to my needs. When we discussed NOT leaving the Toyota family, he introduced me to Russ Pedrigo who showed me a 2013 RAV4 and the rest is history! These 2 men treated me with concern, respect and I drove happily away with another RAV4!! Both men were professional, courteous, friendly and a great pleasure to work with during the whole process - Paul and Russ are a major asset to Northridge Toyota!!! Thank you both so much!!!

Tami could not have been nicer to deal with. After finding that the car I was interested in had already been sold, she said she would look for another that fit my desires. In a very short time, she called me to let me know a car had just come in that should work for me. It was not even cleaned up yet, but she had me come and take a look at it and I agreed it was a good match for me. It needed some work and was not ready for me to take, but I was guaranteed to have first shot at it. My own mechanic was even able to come by and check it out to his (and my)satisfaction. Tami made several follow-up calls to let me know how the car was progressing. You will be more than satisfied if you get to deal with Tami on your visit.

I bought a 2014 Avalon this past weekend. The salesperson, Paul Brown, was very patient and very good to work with. We test drove a number of models over a two day period (I never rush into buying anything) and once I settled on the Avalon, he made sure that I new the difference amongst the three types of Avalon's available for purchase. Once I made up my mind, he made sure that I received an excellent price and the exact color scheme I wanted (not a common one to find). He really worked extremely hard to meet my needs in every way and he exceeded them. He is experienced and yet very youthful-looks like he just graduated high school a few years ago. He has a good sense of humor (I teased him a lot) but he can get down to the details necessary to have the understanding and confidence that a buyer needs in purchasing an expensive item. Once the Avalon was mine, he drove the car to my desired location and went through very thoroughly the "bells and whistles" that exist in today's technologically advanced cars (my last car, 1996 Avalon, had nothing on the dashboard compared to today's models). He offered to review everything again with me in a few days and it may be a good idea since the Avalon manual is 500 pages. He set up the Lo Jack instillation before I drove the car away and he set up a service appointment in the future. What else can someone do? Give you the money to buy the car? Take you out to Ruth Chris Steak House? It would have been nice. So he only gets an A from me and not an A+. On the other hand, he does get an A+.I hope he doesn't read this because I don't want his head to swell. To you future Toyota drivers, look up Paul Brown.

I brought my tacoma prerunner in to have work done to it awhile back, and paid over $2500 dollars for the repairs. My truck is now at another dealer, fixing what Northridge was supposed to fix, and now its costing over $3000 dollars+ to get it done right. Northridge scams people out of money and claims that work was done. It's really sad that being one of the best vehicles on the road, Northridge is ruining the name for other Toyota dealers. It's not right what they are doing and we will be going after them legally and making sure they don't do this again to other people.

It's was about time for me to invest in a new car. I had heard rumblings about Northridge Toyota, and I pass by it every day, so I figured I'd swing by and see if it was anything to write home about. At first glance, the dealership itself is kind of small, and the main building is getting on in years. Their selection isn't as great as other dealerships, but it wasn't terrible either, I had asked about a couple cars, which they all claimed the last one was "just sold". After a bit of asking, I left because I couldn't find the Prius I was looking for.

Let me start by saying there is nothing exceptional about Northridge Toyota; the building is old, the lot is small, and the sales staff isn't exactly what I'd call 'dynamite'. I came in to look at their used car selection, their selection of used cars is kinda abysmal, I've seen mom and pop dealerships with better selection. I guess what I'm saying is that I wouldn't recommend anyone go to Northridge.

I rolled in to Northridge to have my whole rear end fixed, my car was rear ended by what I assume was a drunk driver in the middle of the night. The service rep wasn't half bad, and they finished in the time that they said they would. Unfortunately, I noticed that when I got my car home, the bumper was a bit crooked. It wasn't really noticeable unless you looked for it, but it not perfectly straight. I brought it in and they took twice as long to fix it, but it was finally straight.

Last year I brought my truck in for repairs and they charged me for a repair they didn't do.(transmission flush) I know this cause I brought my truck in with tranny fluid overfilled. When I got it out I checked of out and was still at same level. Everyone knows don't over fill tranny fluid.it makes the tranny pump work too hard. I had to take it to my transmission Guy and he showed me my transmission filter was not changed.I tried to show Northridge Toyota what I had & they claimed I was b.sing them. I tried to contact Toyota corporate with no luck. 1 year later (almost to the day) I had problems with my truck again, I went back to Northridge tote figuring they could take care of my truck due to it should still be under warranty, I was wrong. They refused to take care of their work again. I tool it to hamer.Toyota and they diagnosed it, turned out 2 of the 4 problems that is wrong with it, is what I had Northridge Toyota do a year ago. Northridge claims that spark plug wires, spark plugs, * coils are good for 30,000 miles. Then tried to say it is more than likely valves .. Be careful of Northridge Toyota. They will rip you off and charge you for work they did not perform.

To whom may concern:Saturday May26, drove by to view Canarys, Mr. Jorge came by & asked me if I need any help. I told him just looking and don't want any pressure. Soon I will need to make a decision to purchase a car so jut comparing. He showed few cars and no pressure. I wanted to leave, then he told me let me go inside and get my business card, I said I'll wait. I went in front and checking some used cars. I noticed it took him quite a long time to just get a business card, so I was suspicious he is playing some type a game as most dealers do. Finally comes out with a manager?? He tells here is my manager just wanted to say hi, I said I did not ask him for him, and I left. It's too bad that customers don't have chances to make their own decisions without management pressure and fanatic manipulation. I am sure if someone would do that to them would dislike the situation, then why do it to their customer. I am sure that is tanning gimmick/manipulation dealers play, but I am sure there are dealers that are fare and honest. I purchased many vehicles in my last 57 years, but I never felt for manipulation but in fact even if the offer is very attractive, if there is management pressure, I just don not like dealing with them. This not my only observant, but there are many customer that feel the same way, and hope Northridge Toyota Dealer will consider their sales tactics. Good luck

Gideon and Reggie were amazing. This is our second car now from Northridge and they are wonderful. I have been to many dealerships in my life and they all feel the same. Like you're buying a car from a tricky salesman who just have dollar signs on their minds. Not hear at Northridge, nor with these two Men. Gideon and Reggie from the moment we walked in from the time we walked out with our new car treated us like gold. Never in the time we were deciding on color, type of Toyota, etc., did they put any pressure on us and made it such a great experience, which it should be. We took our time and when we needed answers they were there. No under mining, no quoting a price and then a few minutes later doubling. We told them what we were willing to spend per month and what we wanted and they not only made it happen, but we made two knew friends by the end of our time there. These two Men are great at what they do and next time we buy a car, will go back to see them without a thought and if they aren't here at that time, would follow them where ever they go. Congrats to Northridge Toyota for finding 2 wonderful people who make a car experience fun and always would feel confident sending my friends and Family to both of these Gentleman. Thank you Gideon and Reggie. Thank you for your honesty, your patience and hope to see you both soon!

Having a 2009 Camry, we were not thinking about getting a new car when we received a letter from Northridge Toyota wanting to buy our car. It was time for the 55,000 mile service so we decided to find out more about the letter first. Paul appraised our car and made an offer that was worth considering so we went shopping on the lot. Tami Wilkerson got us started with checking out the Certified cars available - we have already owned 4 Certified Toyotas over the past 16 years. Tami was helpful and knowledgeable. There was no pressure as we continued to look at cars, which we appreciated as we like to look on our own before asking questions. After checking many of the Certified vehicles, we decided to look at the new models, too. Tami was busy at that time so another team member, Gideon Larranaga, showed us where to start looking at the new models. Again, he let us look on our own but was readily available for questions which he answered completely and understandably for us. When we decided on a 2012 Camry LE, Gideon checked for the silver color we wanted and brought it out so we could test drive it. We really liked the car and decided to take the offer to buy our car and use the money toward the cost of the new vehicle.Gideon handled all the preliminary paperwork for the purchase and then introduced us to Brian Pardue who took care of all the contracts, DMV, releases, etc. very efficiently. When we were done, Gideon helped us get settled in the new car and reviewed some of the new equipment. He also synched both our cell phones to the Bluetooth and showed us how to make calls, answer, and more. He also helped us set the audio system. When we took in the pink slip the next day, Brian Pardue finished up all the paperwork and set up our appointment to get Lojack installed. Gideon Larranaga answered more questions for us and reviewed some of the info from the night before. He told us to call him at any time for assistance. We had a very good sales experience at Northridge Toyota. This was our second purchase from them, first for a new car, and we have always had our Toyota service done here. Our favorite service tech writer is Joe Chiado. We have always found him to be very helpful, complete, and honest about our service needs and we trust his opinion. We are now enjoying our new car. I just bought a new Toyota Prius from Northridge Toyota two days ago. There is one reason I am totally satisfied with my buying experience - Tammy Wilkinson, the saleswoman who sold me my car. She was professional, knowledgable, thorough, patient and best of all, a lot of fun. She made the whole experience a pleasure. Be sure to ask for Tammy when you visit their dealership and I can assure you she will put you at ease and make your buying experience a good one too.

To Whom It May Concern:First of all, I have owned Toyota vehicles most of my life Celica, Sienna, SR5 and two Previas and have always been very happy with all of them. In August 2009, I decided to trade in my Sienna for a 2010 Camry Hybrid. I bought it at Thousand Oaks Toyota. However, I started to have some minor problems with it in May of 2010 (#1) and in December 2010 (#2).1.There was a rattling noise, which seemed to be coming from my rear window and it would not go away.2.And my rear view mirror was loose and would not hold its position. At the time, I was taking my Camry to Thousand Oaks for service, but they told me that even though they heard the rattling noise they could not fix it. Needless to say, I was not pleased with the treatment and very unhappy. Then, to add insult to injury, they told me that they could not fix my rear view mirror and that it had to be replaced, which was going to cost me around two hundred dollars. I told them that I would live with it and move it into position as needed.I am a single mother and I have an extremely busy work schedule. I am a scientist working for a pharmaceutical company and did not have the time to go to another dealership and possible get the same treatment. As the rattling got worse, which was exceedingly annoying, I was beginning to dread driving my Camry: not a good thing. At that point, I had had it with Thousand Oaks Toyota and decided to do my oil changes at the local Valvoline Service Center. I swore off going to Toyota for service unless absolutely necessary. Then I met my boyfriend. He has owned Toyotas for the last thirty-two years. At the time he owned a 2004 Prius (now he owns a 2012 Prius), which had over 150,000 miles on it at that time. He lives in Culver City, CA, but goes to Northridge Toyota. When I asked him why, he told me that he has known Tom Foley, the Service Manager there for over 25 years and has followed Tom wherever he goes, because he is extremely knowledgeable, honest and has integrity. He also told me that if anyone could fix my problems it would be Tom. I wasnt totally convinced, but I did trust my boyfriend. He called Tom and told him about my situation. Toms reply was and I quote, If we can hear it we can fix it, and more importantly, you should be enjoying your Camry. So, we went to see Tom.First of all, let me say that Tom Foley is a true gentleman. He was extremely friendly and polite and I could tell that he wasnt that way just because he knew my boyfriend; hes that kind of man. As soon as we arrived at Northridge Toyota we immediately took my car for a test drive and Tom identified the problem in less than five minute. He said that he was 99% sure that it had to do with the tracks in my sunroof. And the loose rear view mirror? He said that was an easy fix. They just had to tighten it. We got back to the lot and Tom introduced me to Carey Riggsbee, one of the Service writers and explained what needed to be done. Carey was also extremely polite and friendly as wrote my car up. We left the Camry there, went on a two-day trip in the Prius, came back, picked up the Camry and it is now an absolute joy to drive it again. No annoying rattling noise and my rear view mirror stays in place. All under warranty, thanks to Tom and his team. As I said, I live in Thousand Oaks, CA. It is approximately a 45-minute drive to Northridge Toyota when there is no traffic, but the drive is worth it. I will NEVER go to Thousand Oaks Toyota again. I am now and will always be a loyal customer at Northridge Toyota. Toyota is very lucky to have Tom Foley working for them. If all service departments had a Tom Foley in their employ there would be a lot more happy customers in the world.Cindy WallaceThousand Oaks, CA

Since 1959 I have owned nearly 20 new and used cars. In all my experience, Northridge Toyota is, hands down, the best car dealership Ive ever done business with. As an Electronics Engineer I am technically very savvy and therefore hard to fool. Over the decades Ive actually walked away from sales people when I detected they were feeding me a line of bull. Not once did that ever happen at Northridge Toyota! Those people are honest and straightforward, including all the folks Ive dealt with in sales, finance and service. (In particular, Paul Brown in sales is my all-time favorite!) It's just so obvious that everyone there enjoys helping customers and insuring their needs are met. In fact, all the customers Ive spoken with in the service area while waiting for my car to be looked after have voiced the same opinion. For all these reasons and more (including great pricing), I bought a 2011 Camry XLE V6 in January and a 2012 Camry LE (4 cyl) in October, both from Northridge Toyota. In fact, I purchased the XLE after first walking away in disgust from a large Toyota dealership in Ventura County, where I had been totally ignored for 30 minutes while salesmen stood nearby chatting with one another. I attributed their obvious lack of interest in me to my shabby work clothes and to the 20-year old Honda I drove in with. Finally, though, after receiving no help from sales people I had stood as close as 6 feet away from, I got into my car and left. Later that same day, I drove to Northridge Toyota. And, while still wearing those same raggedy clothes, I was greeted warmly, treated with respect, and bought from them a 2011 Camry XLE. In the next few years Ill be replacing my old Honda Accord with a new Toyota. Obviously Northridge Toyota will be my #1 choice when I do!Theres one more thing Id like to say: I truly believe Northridge Toyotas service department is beyond exceptional -- maybe even the best in Southern California. Thats because, compared to most other Toyota dealerships, they employ an unusually large percentage of repair technicians with the highest level of certification. I know all this may come across as sounding like a giant sales pitch. But it's not. Im just a customer and an admirer of Northridge Toyota, who sincerely believes they have earned your attention. Please check them out for yourself. Talk to Paul Brown or any of the other sales reps, and I know you'll agree that everything I've said here is true.

This dealer is no good. Since the start they gave me questionable info about my brakes, they told me that by brand new Toyota at the time practically no miles on it, that the breaks squeaked because of dirt, that oil changes would clear this up, and there was no issue. Fine. Well 2 yrs and 20k miles later, still squeaking. I left at the dealer after my oil change two weeks ago, brakes squeaking (under their dirt theory they should have been fine) and took it to a trustworthy source, and did a brake check. The dealer told me my brakes were fine, but the squeaking was clear, something was wrong, and there was, my front brakes needed to be replaced, there was a crack somewhere, and the rotors needed to be sanded or shaved down. The dealer should have seen this at the time, and not told me my brakes were fine. Either they do crappy brake checks, or they want my bad breaks to ruin more of the brake systems to make more money. No $5 oil change will entice me to go back there. Not to mention, shouldn't my brakes still be good at 20k miles in 2 years? Makes me think they were bad to start and they never told me. There's been some other questionable communication as well, sum total opinion, try another! Breaks are fixed now, $200 bucks later, no squeaking.

Brought my 4Runner for a scheduled maintenance service and the service rep told me that my car was being recalled for the interaction between the floor mat and the gas pedal. They made it sound as something minor and never explained what the procedure would entail. My car was factory equipped with sports pedals (came as a part of sports edition package) and when I came to pick it up after the service was done, it turned out that they took the sports cover off and simply sawed off the bottom half of the basic pedal without even filing the edges off and left it like that! They called to ask me if I wanted to have my cabin air filter replaced (part of the scheduled maintenance) but never bothered to ask for my permission to ruin my gas pedal like that. Service manager Tom Foley was very patronizing and downright dismissive, refused to even consider restoring my car to the condition prior to their procedure and insisted on delivering a "safety lecture" instead. He didn't seem to care about losing a long time customer and simply gave me a 1-800 number to call Toyota directly. They weren't much interested either and simply had another customer service representative from the same dealership call me only to keep lecturing me about safety further and to keep giving vague and meaningless promises about "investigating their options" and "researching the ways they could remedy the problem".In my view, there is nothing to "investigate" nor "research" - the "problem" is essentially very simple and so is the remedy, all they need to do is restore my car to the condition it was in before they ruined it. It has nothing do with neither "safety", the car served me without a hitch for 90,000 miles but my shoe slipped off the pedal several times since this happened. Bottom line: t is about damaging my property without even asking for permission and about their refusal to make it right.I will never do business with this dealership again.

I came in with my wife and purchased a new 2011 4runner. We added the navigation and rear reverse camera. I pick up the car and it has a cheap aftermarket navigation and it looks like crap. I ask them about it and they say there's nothing they can do its already installed. Then I realize that the back up camera isn't working. Its because there is no camera when they assured me it would be. Now I have to sit around and wait an hour because every manager they have is in a sales meeting. I feel lied to, misled, and ripped off

Two days ago, I purchased a certified pre-owned 2009 Prius. From start to finish, the process was smooth and enjoyable. I first called about the car after seeing it online and George had it pulled up front with the keys ready to go when I arrived. George and Paul were very friendly and informative and worked hard to get me the best price with the features I needed. They even stayed 3 hours past closing time to be sure I felt comfortable and informed! Mike was just as friendly, helpful, and easy to work with in the financing department. I never felt pressured or hurried to make a decision. Since I added a few features, I new to expect a call from Edith in the service department, but I didn't realize she would call the very next morning to get me all set up to bring the car in as soon as possible, so I could enjoy driving my car well before Christmas. The whole team is friendly, informative, and very helpful. I enjoyed the experience and will definitely refer this dealer to my friends and family!

This was the easiest new car buying experience I ever had. There was no pressure and the whole process was quite speedy. That goes for Tami, Reggie and even Mike, the finance guy. Since I bought a Tundra four years ago, Tami has stayed in touch with me, so when the time came to buy a new car, the choice of starting at Northridge was easy and then I didn't have to go anywhere else. I bought a car that had an advertised price in the newspaper and there was no attempt to persuade me to buy something different, so the price was right at the outset.

I have found Northridge Toyota to be very honest. I requested new brakes on my Avalon while buying some new tires. The mechanic called me and told me that I didn't need new brakes and that I had plenty of wear left. I was surprised because an independent Toyota mechanic had told me several months earlier that my brakes were almost gone. Toyota of Northridge could have gone ahead and easily cheated me, and I would not have known any better.

I HAD TO HAVE MY PASSENGER SIDE VIEW MIRROR REPLACED ON MY 2009 HYBRID CAMRY. DUE TO THE FACT THAT SOMEONE BROKE THE MIRROR ANDDID NOT LEAVE A NOTE, MY INSURANCE COVERED THE COST. OF COURSE, THEY FIRST HAD TO ESTIMATE THE COST OF REPAIR. I INSISTED THAT I WOULD ONLY ACCEPT A NEW MIRROR PROVIDED BY TOYOTA ANDTHAT I WANTED MY DEALER TO HANDLE IT. OF COURSE THEIR ESTIMATE WAS NOT VERY REALISTIC. HOWEVER, NORTHRIDGE TOYOTA, MY DEALER, GAVE ME A VERY GOOD PRICE ON THE NEW REPLACEMENTPART AND THANKS TO MR. FOLEY, HE NOT ONLY GOT THE LABOR COST DOWN SO THEINSURANCE AGREED TO IT, BUT HE PULLED THE PART FROM THE PARTS DEPARTMENT,AND HAD IT ALL DONE WHILE I WAITED. HE DID IT ALL WITH CARE, CONCERN AND MADE IT A GREAT EXPERIENCE FOR ME! WILL I GO BACK? YOU BETCHA!

The customer service at Northridge Toyota is top notch! I have always been treated like I am the most important customer there. Everything is explained up front, there are no surprises on the bill when the work is complete, and any questions I have asked are answered honestly and thoroughly. We have all of our cars serviced at Northridge Toyota because I know I'm getting genuine Toyota parts and I feel confident that the work will be done correctly and in a timely fashion. I've only had one issue in the almost 6 years of doing business with them, and it was addressed immediately at no charge. I feel their rates are competitive and fair. On 2 occasions, I had big ticket work done and I was given a small discount to help with the cost. It wasn't the amount that mattered, it was the courtesy I deeply appreciated. It doesn't matter who I am speaking to, from Porter to President, I am always greeted with a smile and a hug, or friendly handshake. It brightens my day when I go to get my cars serviced! We always work with Peter Melendez and Tom Foley, who have treated us with great respect, courtesy and sincerity. I feel I have created a great working relationship with these 2 men and I wouldn't trade that for anything. We will be lifetime customers at Northridge Toyota no only because we are treated well and are offered great service, but because the owner, Sam DiMaggio has gone out of his way to make us feel at home there. 10 thumbs up!

I have had two new Toyotas since 1985. A 1985 Toyota Corolla and a 2004 Toyota Prius. And for the last 23 years I have had them serviced by Tom Foley, who is now the Service Manager at Northridge Toyota. I met Tom 23 years ago at a different Toyota dealership and from the very beginning he was always extremely friendly, courteous, professional, fair and honest. A true man of integrity. All these qualities in one person are very hard to find, which is why I have followed Tom each time he moved to other Toyota dealerships. How much do I value him and his service team? I live in Culver City, CA and travel 35 to 45 minutes to go to Northridge Toyota to have my Prius, with over 138,000 miles on it, serviced. And I never hesitate to recommend him to my friends and family who own Toyotas. As long as Tom is there that's where I will take my Prius. And if he moves to another Toyota Dealership that's where I will go to have my Prius serviced.

Alex Grigoryan was my sales rep, and he must be new because he wasn't well educated on the Prius. First Alex and Reggie Badr told me they had no 2010 Prius' left on the lot,and then suddenly they find out there's abt. 6 of them in the back lot. I test drove a blue Prius and it drove well. But I decided on this silver one I bought. Alex didn't even offer me to drive it and said he would check it out, but said, he was sure it was fine, because they had gotten that shipment in just the night before. WELL... after driving it home, when pushing down on the gas peddle, there's a delay in the car shifting into gear. My foot is halfway down before it does go into gear. The picture of the battery on the front dashboard does show that its a full battery either. The blue car I test drove went into gear right away. Alex was a fake, he just wanted to make that sale, and was irritated with me everytime I had a question, and just said "lets move on, and answer questions later. He just was in a hurry to make the sale. He rushed me through all the paper work, and even gave me the wrong date to sign on the bottom of ea. page. I wasn't exactly sure of the exact date, so I just wrote what he told me, of 10/10/10, which actually the date was 10/9/10. Luckily the finance lady had put the right date on everything that she had me fill out. Alex is not even listed on your web-site, so that made me leary. I hope I didn't purchase a lemon. I am planning on calling the dealership today and tell them everything. I didn't sleep at all last night and was in tears. So many complaints about the way Alex hurried me up filling out the paper work, and was a bad salesman. No education in Prius' at all. I traded in a perfectly wonderful 2008 Camry for this Prius. I've just had my eye on the Prius for years now and really wanted one to save money on gas, etc.

Many times when people go into searching for a car they fear the process being long and drawn out. At Northridge Toyota I didn't experience any of that. I was able to go through the process relatively fast and harmless. The staff was attentive, friendly, and welcoming every time my family & I came into the showroom. It honestly made it easier to trust the brand because there was not much if any waiting without an employee making sure I had been helped and properly taken care of. Not only within the car industry but within customer service & sales experiences in general that is very rare, especially when it's genuine. I had a fantastic experience at this dealership and recommend it without hesitation to anyone in search of a new, affordable vehicle and with fantastic customer service.

I have been a customer of Northridge Toyota for almost 10 years. Carey Riggsbee in service is a significant reason that I continue to have my vehicles serviced there. Carey is cordial, responsive to my phone calls/questions, and never tries to sell me on a service that isn't necessary. Likewise, my experience with Lisa Plowman and Sam DiMaggio in sales has been extremely favorable. Once again, these individuals understand/appreciate that a customer's time is a valuable commodity, and do their best to "cut to the chase." My check engine light came on in my 2005 Prius. I brought it in and left it. They called a few hours later to say it was the inverter water pump and the cost would be $535.00 to replace it. I told them to do so. (What choice did I have?) I picked it up and drove it less than 12 miles before the CEL came on again. Turns out that their mechanic failed to connect the wiring harness to the new pump!?!?! I took pictures in to show them that the wiring harness had not been connected. They were apologetic for their oversight. Conveniently there were no managers on site. I stopped by the Customer Relations Manager's office to explain the problem to her. What did I get out of that? A cup of Earl Grey tea. Come on folks! Let's serioiusly address your problems and own up to your mistakes. Now I'm left wondering how badly damaged this new inverter water pump is due to the mechanic's blatant error in not connecting the wiring harness. This hasn't left a good first impression on me.
