The best car-buying experience I've had! Kyle made it easy, pleasant, and affordable. I bought a used Fusion hybrid which is the nicest car I've ever owned; the price was a bit under KBB value to begin with, and the dealership gave me a $300 discount on top of it. The price was real - no added fees. Kyle of course paired up my phone, explained all the bells & whistles, and made the buying process easy, but he also did much more - the next week when it wouldn't start after having been jumped on 2 different days, he made an appointment for me at the service department and came to my house on his day off to jump it so I could take it in and get the 12V battery replaced free of charge! Now it did take 2-1/2 hours to replace a battery, so I don't know that I'd use the service dept again, but otherwise, fantastic experience. Many thanks to Kyle and to everyone at Newins!!

DO NOT BUY OR LEASE A CAR FROM NEWINS FORD UNLESS YOU PLAN ON HAVING IT SERVICE SOMWHERE ELSE!I leased an Explorer 2 1/2 years ago. Sales dept was very good and pleasant. No problems. Service dept is another story. i'm not sure they know what they are doing. They certainly are not organized or efficient. And I have had to deal with multiple rude people. One woman in particular named Bonnie. I don't think she could care any less about her customers. Any dealings I have had with her have been problematic. My car has had multiple issues and I would consider it to be a lemon but unfortunately it did not meet the legal criteria. We initially had to deal with a malfunctioning lift gate. Not usually a big deal I would guess except that it wouldn't register as being closed sometimes so the light would stay on and it drained the battery on more than one occasion. This repair required multiple visits for service. They could not figure out the problem. At one time they had the car for 2 weeks. That time we were lucky and got a loaner. Most of the time there isn't one available.I was once told they only had 6 loaners. Plus they were all Ford Focus. I had an Explorer for a reason. We have 3 kids who are all tall. They do not fit comfortably in a Focus. Sorry. That's all they have. Other times were told no loaner available for weeks! If your only gonna have 6, why bother having them at all.I have had to rent a car for multiple service visits. Each time we go in for service, even when we were there multiple times in a span of a few weeks, Bonnie would ask if we had an extended warranty. SHE HAD JUST SEEN ME OR MY WIFE ABOUT 6 TIMES OVER THE PAST FEW WEEKS WITH THE SAME ISSUE AND WAS TOLD NO EACH TIME. STOP ASKING! We were still covered under the car warranty but apparently, although there weren't any loaners for available, one would magically appear if we had an extended warranty. Another time I dropped the car off the night before. Received a call the next day after 4 (when technicians have all left) that my car wasn't ready. I had to ask multiple questions and after hemming and hawing for awhile they finally admitted my car had not even been looked at. WHAT?! They apparently forgot. And to Bonnie this was no big deal. Now had to leave car another day. But still no loaner. If there hadn't been multiple issues in the past this wouldn't have been so bad. But to make matters even worse, at another visit, I dropped car in the morning and received a call after 4 saying it wouldn't be ready. No surprise. This was routine for them. This time the tech assigned to the vehicle got held up working on another car. WHAT?! Instead of giving the car to someone else to work on, I now had to leave it overnight again. This was not an issue that required someone special to work on it. I realize other people have to have their cars fixed as well but not for nothing, we have had so many issues maybe once they could give a little courtesy. And guess what. No loaner. I bring up the loaner so many times because, of course, when shopping for car we were told loaners were available. My wife and I both work and have 3 kids to shuttle around. We need our cars, or an alternative, available. If you don't have them, fine. Just don't tell people you do.The last issue was when we had to piece of molding around the windshield that had cracked. Piece had to be ordered and we would be called when it came in. Received a call a 2 months later. Need to come in to have this done right away because the piece has been sitting in the dept for weeks and would be sent back if we didn't come in . That was the first time we heard anything about it. In the form of a threat. So we bring the car in. Get a call in the afternoon. Piece was changed but when being put in it cracked. Par for the course. I could leave the car there and they would get a new one first thing in the morning and replace it again. Knowing how this dept works I wasn't willing to trust then to get this piece overnight. I suggested I could come back the following Monday as I happened to be off from work. I had already taken the day off to bring it in for the initial replacement. Was told it couldn't be Monday because the technician wasn't working that day. It would have to be Tues. I said I have to work Tues, can't someone else do it on Mon. Was told no, they like to have same tech do the job. I asked why that would be necessary since he had just broken the first one. After further back and forth, I learned the real reason. Money! They had paid the tech for the initial replacement and he would have to do it over without getting paid again. If someone else worked on the car, they would now have to be paid. So it's Ok if I have to lose money by taking off from work, but not them to fix a problem they created. You would think they would go out of their way to be accommodating. Not this place. Never anyone who seems to take our complaints seriously. And believe me I have complained many times. I have other stories I could tell but I have already gone on long enough.Bottom line-DO NOT BUY OR LEASE A CAR FROM NEWINS FORD UNLESS YOU PLAN ON HAVING IT SERVICED SOMWHERE ELSE!

Although the sales department has seemed to receive good reviews, I can not recommend the service department. I haven't even seen a mechanic yet and left my 2010 Edge there for repair, but I was treated so poorly trying to check my car in after my brakes failed. Was told since I didn't have an appointment and was not a regular customer that bought my car there it would be about two weeks before anyone looked at the car. Service woman seemed bothered that I wanted to have my car fixed and not sympathetic at all that my brakes failed trying to stop at stop sign. Amazingly poor people skills. UPDATE:Thank you to the service manager Eric for calling and making me a sense of security in that he was sorry and my car would be taking of . He wants costumers to feel secure in working with his department. Maybe it was just a bad day so I hope everything turns out well. Very happy he called to follow up on the events.

I'm often wary of people who give excellent reviews on any websites--however, my experience at Newins Ford in Bayshore was incredible. The people on the sales floor were friendly and good humored. I shopped around for lease deals stating that cost efficiency was important to me, Freddy P. at Newins went above and beyond to support and assist me through the decision making process and pricing. He was kind and patient with no stress added to the process. The lease deal he gave was one that was not topped by any other dealer and his work and sincerity made it impossible to walk away from.Fred responded to all of my queries, promptly and with great detail. I recommend working with him at Newins Ford. I'm sure the rest of the sales people are good to, but I can say with great confidence Fred delivers.

I bought a used certified F350 diesel from Newins and my experience with the service Dept. was terrible. A certified Ford vehicle is supposed to be completely gone over. They told me they changed all the Fluids and filters and that wasn't the case. They changed nothing at all, I took my vehicle in for a oil change and had my Mechanic look the truck over. It needed all the filters and the Front brakes were completely gone, I only drove this truck 6k miles and $1200.00 later, my Mechanic made the truck rite. The filters weren't even Ford filters, they were after market cheap filters. They should be ashamed of themselves, I wouldn't buy a skateboard from that dealership.

Always a great experience! This is our 2nd vehicle purchase from Newins Ford. Their Service Department is fabulous. Eric and his staff are always courteous, friendly and professional. Scheduling and appointment is easy and convenient. Drop off and pick up is always hassle free. The waiting room is clean and bright. The Car Detailing staff is just wonderful. 99% of the time my vehicle is washed by the staff in the Car Detail Center. They do an outstanding job. I bring my vehicle to Newins for all maintenance and repairs. My husband and I highly recommend this dealership for purchase, maintenance and vehicle detailing. Vehicle is always checked and if something needs to be replaced/repaired we are notified of recommended repairs and cost. Repairs are consistently made in a timely manner, This dealership provides the BEST customer service.

Today I traded in my Ford C-Max early and purchased a Nissan Rogue. I had been a loyal customer of Newins Bay Shore Ford Inc. for many, many years. Every 2 or 3 years I walked into that showroom and picked out a car I wanted to lease without quibbling price. In fact I leased exactly 4 cars from them and my husband purchased at least 3 from them. The C-Max is a hybrid and not without problems. The first winter it died in my driveway when the temperature got low. We had it towed back to Newins which is a pretty far from my home (aprox. 15 miles) and called them to let them know it was on its way. We asked that we get a loaner and was told "First come first served". So they expected me to travel in a bad snow and ice storm that far and hope I get there before someone else. I immediately got in touch with my salesman and he referred me to the owner. At that point I didn't want to get anyone in trouble so I just let it go. ( I was upset enough that a car less than a year old wouldn't start because the battery drained low due to the cold).He obviously wasn't interested in my situation even though I did business with him at that point for at least 9 years in a row. Good I thought. I decided after that I would deal with a Ford dealership locally and forget about them. Well this car had at least 4 recalls and died in my driveway (luckily there) at least 1/2 dozen times. No on could ever figure out why it was happening. Levittown Ford could care less if I had to walk 2-3 mi. home. They wouldn't give me a ride home or give me a loaner because I didn't purchase this car from them. Well on 1/20/16 it died for the last time and I decided that enough is enough. On 1/21/16 I went to the Nissan dealership and leased a brand new Rogue. I will never deal with Newins Ford again or any Ford dealership for that matter. They have no respect for customer loyalty. Nissan guarantees me a loaner car for whenever I bring the vehicle in for service or if I prefer a ride home they will do that too. I don't need Newins and I am sorry I ever did business with your company. Obviously, repeat customers don't warrant any consideration. And by the way not only did I lease 4 Ford vehicles I also leased a Gran Marquis and a Mercury Sable from 2 other dealerships. So needless to say Ford you lost a very good customer! I lost some money on this deal, but, it was worth it to learn a very good lesson.

He is not pushy and is willing to spend the time to make sure you leave the dealership happy and completely satisfied! I also dealt with Joseph Corcione who explained to me all the details of my lease. I have never had a transaction at a dealership go so smoothly.

I brought my 2005 T-Bird in on September 4th for a minor transmission problem which occurs after the car sits for 4 to 7 days. When you put the car in gear the transmission slips and as you accelerate in bangs into gear. The service techs drove the car 2 or 3 times a day for 2 1/2 weeks and couldn't find a problem. The tech's apparently have a problem with reading because the service work order says after the car sits for 4 to 7 days. After they drove the car for over 30 miles at speeds of 60 miles per hour and used up the rest of my gas in the they called me and said " was ok to put $20.00 of gas in the car " which I reluctantly agreed to. On September 15th I went down to the dealership to find out what is wrong with my car because they don't return phone calls, and found that the car now has a miss fire in the engine due to contaminated gas. I took my car home on the 17th after having the car inspected and paying for the $20.00 worth of gas they charged me for. I didn't drive the until the 23rd when I decided to burn up all the bad gas in the tank and put fresh fuel in. On the way home the car started to give me more problems the check engine light came on, the car was only running on 5 or 6 cylinders and kept stalling, and would not go over 15 mph, it took me 15 minutes to go 4 miles. I drove to the dealer and was told there was no way they could look at the car today and they made an appointment for the car on October 7th, today is October 14th and they still have not looked at the car. I still don't know what is wrong with the car, they won't give me straight answer when they will look at the car. I keep getting the run around on a time frame and I have to go do there and get no satisfaction. Over the years my family has bought 5 cars from them and this is how they treat their customers which is a disgrace. Nobody should be treated that way. When I spoke to the Service Manager he was rude and tried to double talk me, he would not let me get a word in side ways and interrupted me numerous times. I think the owners should buy their managers the book " How to make friends and influence people " because their attitude stinks.

I have purchased a couple cars from newins from two different salesmen. My last purchase was a new edge and before that a raptor. Both salesmen were a pleasure to work with. I understand everyone has their own style and while both different, each of them went out of their way to meet me on my needs for both vehicals. Joseph lucente spent well over an hour helping me locate the exact vehical and options I needed. Just when we found it, the manager Phil stepped in and helped me get a sweetheart deal on something better then I had hoped for. Personally, I am a well educated car buyer. However you don't need to be to recognize when some one is willing to go out of their way to and help you. At the end of the day, great pricing comes down to timing, availability, and opportunity. Newins made sure all of those factors were in my favor. They got another sale and will get repeat business in the future.

Brought my F150 in for oil change,I bring in on regular schedule.Tech left oil cap off,noticed after 3 days,Gets better,Called service dept.spoke to Marty.Was asked to use my AAA.Was not happy.Went back to dealership that afternoon,was told on 2 qts low.Spoke to service manager about oil stain on console,was told he would have it cleaned the next day,told him I was not coming back, if he could have it taken care of today,said that was the best he could do.Service manager acted very unprofessional and rude.Should practice better customer relations.Did not even get a chance to address oil in driveway.BEST part no call back from dealer even after filling out survey.Very Dissapointed.. Will not return. Thanks Newins for making my decision easier for not coming back.

Hi, this is the nephew previously mentioned in the post below about the v6 mustang. I was in there with a quote from another dealer. I knew it might be a little too low for them to meet (which is fine) but I wanted to give them a chance since they seemed (at first) like a more reputable dealer. I went with my uncle who knows a little more about the car buying experience than I do. We were told that it was too low to meet and after some smug remarks from the dealer, we parted ways. Tom then called me up personally to insult one of my family members and curse me out (Great Customer Service!). Charged me $300.00 dollars to clean and adjust rear brakes. The service rep was rude and abrupt .I was up from Florida and wanted my brakes checked, there was a clicking noise when I applied the brake, they said all it needed was a cleaning and adjusting.

my nephew and I had walked into Newman's Ford just recently. my nephew has been shopping for a fastback v6 Mustang for some time now. this is the second dealership of the day and by far the worst experience we ever had. Tom, who my nephew actually like the first time meeting him came off rude and obnoxious. we have received the price from another dealership that was much more aggressive. bid giving everything to town the VIN number, the location of the vehicle, even the price of which we receive from the previous dealership. Tom, seem that he was a little disinterested in making the sale so he told us to have a nice day. what we were looking for him to match the price we have already reviewed. the only reason we were asking him to match the price was because of my nephew actually liked him originally. I personally do not understand how this man is selling cars. I will never return

I'm writing this review for my senior citizen mother who recently had her ford serviced at Newins in Bay Shore. She could not stop praising the young man Eric who went above and beyond in his efforts to help her. His patience was outstanding and they will gain many customers throughout our family. She spoke very highly of her experience. Mostly about how her car was ready at the time promised, and how Eric explained in detail the problem found with her vehicle, and what was done to correct it. My wife and I went into Newins Ford to begin looking for a new Ford Escape and with the assistance of a very professional salesman, we found the car we wanted within 30 minutes. Salesman Al Omar was extremely helpful, personable and knowledgeable. We explained what we wanted in a Ford Escape and he showed us a few cars before finding the one that was right for us. He arranged the new plates as well as coordinated with the insurance broker. When we picked up the car he explained everything thoroughly and to our satisfaction. This is our third or fourth vehicle at Newins over the years and as usual a very positive experience!

This dealer is one of the worst in customer service on Long Island. If you are not getting swindled into a over prices new car then don't expect to have anyone treat you will respect. I currently have my car in there for a replacement warrantable part. Like always they do not want to replace the part. I had a rack and pinon done 2 years ago that I had to deal with ford corporate for 3 days before approved. Then after repair left the dealer and 5 miles down the road the entire steering wheel locks up and I immediately lost all control on the car. I called ford immediately and had it brought back to there shop. They claim it was a defective part and would replace it. That kept me out of my car for a longer time now and back into another rental witch is a huge inconvenience. Also I had to put 4 new tires on my car from the rack being broken and ruining my alignment witch ruined my tires that I payed out of pocket for. Now I am currently battling with the disrespectful uncourteous Bonnie from begins ford. She loves to talk over people to get her point across and doesn't let you explain the fact of the matter witch coming from a person who drives the vehicle everyday I think I would know better then her. Anyway turns out that my car need a new axel and the wheel seal is leaking. Well well well what do you know " it's not our fault " but how ever they are the only ones who service the car and who took the axel out and messed with the suspension and locked my steering up so all fingers point to them. Now corporate is involved they approved the repairs day before yesterday and then call me today to tell me they are not approving the repairs anymore due to a car fax report. When all that was replace 3 years ago was a headlight and the bumper and corner of fender was scraped. After 2 times being there you figure there 148 point inspection would have told them something was wrong. This is absurd and they are scam artist and the mechanics are not properly trained and the service advisors are not trained properly either. Shame on newins ford. Take your business somewhere else trust me when I tell you that because no one should be treated like that especially over something so small multi billon dollar corporation that won't approve a " 1300.00 " job that cost them 200.00 but they mark it up so they can get there bonus. And good luck with Eric his voice mail is full and he never takes a phone call.

Attempted to reach the parts department multiple times and continously hung up on by someome picking up the phone then hanging up. Finally connected to the service department to find out what the problem was. The service department informed me that the parts department is not required to answer the phones on Saturdays. Noone was able to help me and when requesting a manager I was repeatedly sent to voicemail. According to their service writers the managers don't work weekends and Noone is capable of giving anyone an answer. After being spoken to rudely and if I was stupid I hung up called Stevens Ford where the parts department was pleasant and helpful. It's worth the unfortunate 20 mile drive to deal with them. I Wi never recommend Newins to anyone ever again and will be canceling my business account with them after this treatment.

After doing research I decide to get the same car from elsewhere as I didn't want the front license plate holder that was fitted to the one they had. I have been researching cars for about six months. I knew that I wanted a safe 4 WD with good gas mileage. I read reviews about the 2013 Ford Escape and went to Newins to look at it. We were greeted by Eric Stickney who was extremely informative and very nice. He took his time and clearly explained all of the models and options. It was late and raining that night so we said we would come back to drive it. We came back a few weeks later and Eric remembered our names. That was impressive. We drove the Escape and knew it was for us. We bought it that night. Eric spent the needed time with us to find everything we wanted in the car. We did all the paperwork and he let me know early the next morning that we were approved and that we would have the car within the week. Everything went smoothly and we picked the car up last Tuesday. Eric sat in the car with me and taught me how to work many of the options and helped me set up the Bluetooth stereo. Eric made this experience extremely positive. He is professional, down to earth, intuitive and just plain nice. We love the car and will be back. I was very happy with my experience here. I dealt with Joe Lucente and he was professional, friendly, helpful and listened to my concerns. I financed a 2013 Focus SE Hatch and was placing this against the Mazda 3 Hatch in the running. In the end I decided to go with the Focus because Joe got me the deal I wanted. He started out high but worked with me and researched options and in the end came out exactly where I wanted to be financially. I did not feel pressured at any time which is a pleasure. In the end what he promised was where I wanted to be at for price and that's what was delivered. This is what made me close the deal right away. Mazda actually came back to me and matched the deal but a week too late, while the 3 was my first choice I became hooked on the Focus and Ford quality so turned them down.Everyone at the dealership was great. While signing paperwork to close the deal with my family, a salesman walked in I had never dealt with at all, and handed my two kids matchbox cars of the Ford Escape in NY Yankees colors which they loved. I thought that was a nice touch. My vehicle was prepped perfectly and Joe went over all the features with me. I drove away happy.If there was one thing to comment on its that Newin's prices are a bit high IMHO. I was looking also at the posted deals for purchase/lease on the Ford Escape for my wife, and they were way higher than what we settled on for her 2013 Honda CRV EX lease eventually. Since there was not much markup on a Focus and I have Xplan pricing I really didn't have too much haggle room to compare properly. I gave top score for price as I ended up where I wanted to be.You will be happy with your experience here. Do your homework, shop around but come to Newins last as you'll want to close the deal here! Also, make sure to inquire with them via internet first on your vehicle of choice. They have special internet pricing which is the lowest I've found, and that's how I came across them.

Truck was not ready for pickup (Truck was on lot, not ordered) as promised by salesman and Warranty guy, had to come back. Navagation system did not work, had to come back twice, miscommunication between salesman and service center on part, who I must say were the most professional of the lot. Best was after this, I asked if they could meet a price on a remote start from another Ford dealer, I was told they can't budge on the price. Then told me they must be using a substandard installer and it could void the warranty. Wrong, was told all Ford dealers use a place in Westbury. When I explained this all to the Sales manager he blamed the salesman, the salesman blamed the warranty guy, and the warranty guy could care less, great customer service. Very unprofessional to say the least. Had Hassett Ford install the remote in less than half a day with a follow up letter asking if I was totally satisfied with their service. I'm still waiting for my letter from Newins thanking me for my cash purchase of a 2013 Explorer. Difference in dealers was night and day. Newins was very prompt with one thing, they cashed all of my checks the very next day.

Newins Ford is what a car dealership used to be and still should strive to be. I recently purchased 3 new vehicles all from Newins Ford. This review is about the dealership rather than the vehicle but I feel compelled to say that Ford is clearly on top of its game. This is especially true for trucks. The ability of the sales team to explain the infinite options and capabilities are critical and a reflection on their passion for the product they sell. My sales guy Joey Armetta loves ford vehicles and it shows.Joey spent nearly 8 hours with me and my son "spekking-out" his 2012 F-150 FX-4 "Dream Truck". It took such a long time because these trucks have almost infinite options and choices combined with Ford's information provided via the Internet and actual order system is very difficult to cross reference. When we bought an Edge for my Daughter the process was much simpler. The bottom line was that Joey was patient and thorough so we got exactly what we wanted. He had no problem checking other dealer inventories to match what we wanted or was willing to do the custom order. Upon delivery Joey spent as long as it took to explain the many advanced features and capabilities of the Ford vehicles. We were never rushed.Robert Emma is the finance warranty guy. He also was like Joey and asked questions and listened before pitching the products. There was no pressure to buy anything. This was a relief compared to past experiences in car dealerships. He also discounted fairly to the point where it made sense to buy some of the warranty product.Phil was the sales manager who had to jump in on negotiation as is common. No high pressure at all just an open and professional pricing negotiation that was fair. Overall I was treated great from the minute I entered the showroom. I got a fair price but maybe not the lowest however I also know I got the right vehicle exactly as I wanted it. This is why I bought 3 vehicles from Newins within one month. Keep in mind I never had to leverage the fact I was buying 3 vehicles to get this treatment. It was the dealer that brought me back in the door with their professional, knowledgeable, dedicated, and friendly sales team.

Went in to see if a part to a 2002 Ford Escort could be ordered. The parts department looked devoid of parts and the person I spoke to was completely uninterested in helping me-he was friendly enough but had no intention of looking anything up or figuring out what I needed. He sent me to the service department-who also had no idea what I was talking about and didn't seem to care-friendly but ignorant. I know a decent amount about cars so it wasn't as though I couldn't articulate what I was looking for, yet I left totally frustrated and amazed at the complete cluelessness of the staff. Do these people know anything about Ford cars-are they not trained?? I own two Mustangs along with the Escort and have spoken recently to a salesperson about buying a Fiesta or Focus in the future, but have serious doubts about purchasing one at this dealership, based on this experience. By the way, I figured out what I needed myself, using the internet-a former Ford mechanic offered insight into my problem-maybe you should hire him?

This dealership has no idea how to treat a returning customer. They shafted me out of almost $2,000 on a recall and after I tried to work things out with them they did not stand by a loyal customer, but instead said, "Oh, well, do what you have to do." After recall was done, because my car sat all winter long and was caused residual repairs because of the wait they did not help with the repairs due to the wait and instead a repair bill of over $600 on top of the already $2000 in rental fees incurred that they had promised to provide. Their response was pointing fingers at everyone but themselves and stating that I fell through the cracks and it was the rental car's fault, the corporation's fault and my fault, but definitely not any of Newin's Bay Shore Ford's fault. This dealership would no sooner throw you under the bus then to admit any responsibility for their oversite, leaving the customer (who's suppose to be always right) holding the bill for a part that was defective and not even produced when I was told it was dangerous to drive the car that I paid for and never late on my payments!!!! My advice is to not deal with this company as I will never and I will tell everyone I know how badly they have treated me!!! The worst customer service ever!!! Especially the owner!!!!

When first arriving at the dealership it took nearly 15-20 minutes for someone to greet us. Once Howard started working with us, however we were glad that he was the one who approached us. Howard put in the extra effort and research in answering my questions and showed us that he cared about our business. The sale of the new car and turn-in of my old vehicle went very well. Upon delivery of the new car, my salesman went over everything in the vehicle which was quite involved since this car had the Ford My Touch system. He called the next day to make sure all was well and if I needed further assistance with the My Touch. He also offered to have me come in for further instruction if I had any problems. I have not utilized the service department yet, so I cannot comment at this time. So far the experience has been fine.

Leased a new 2012 Ford Focus. Charlie was a great salesperson, had no pressure whatsoever. Worked with me to get a great deal so I could afford the car I wanted. I even had another dealer tell me I got a good deal. This was my first time getting a brand new car and the whole process was pretty quick and painless. As far as sales go, I would definitely recommend it.

My vehicle was dropped off for service three separate times for the same concern cause they kept misdiagnosing and were unable to duplicate the concern. Then the last time the car was there, they attempted repairs in which it appears the interior portions of the lower dash had to come apart. I get a call my vehicle is ready and when I go to pick it up, I find they broke the sill plates, shifter trim, center console was loose, center trim gouged, head liner and visors stained etc. The car was poorly repaired and put back together. When I brought the concern to the owner's attention which was then directed to the service manager, Chet yelling, cursing etc accuses me of damaging the vehicle and so on. Great customer service that is. Please tell me how my vehicle gets mysteriously damaged by me after you service it, especially since I never even got to pick up and take the vehicle home. This dealership is the worst in atmosphere, ethics, service and every aspect. I wouldn't even recommend it to my worst enemy!

I just purchased a new 2011 Explorer from Newins. I went to the dealership 4 times before finally purchasing this vehicle. This is my usual routine. I first go to test drive, then bring my wife in to test drive, then on the final 2 visits get my best price. I go prepared from all of the research that I do. I have to tell you that Freddy, my salesman, could not have been more helpful in getting me the price that I wanted to pay. He is truly there for the customer and will do whatever it takes to make the sale. No pressure what so ever. Bob was my finance person and he also was friendly and worked with me on financing. I have not had to go for service yet as this Explorer is only 1 week old. I love the ride and after researching 11 vehicles, from cars to SUV's, the Explorer by far had the best ride. I was surprised by this. I previously owned a Mazda CX-9 and the Explorer blows this away. I got the limited edition with all of the bells and whistles.

Had problems with the locking mechanism on my 2010 Transit Connect. After driving the car for over a year, the cargo doors stopped unlocking from the drivers side door. Considering this is a cargo van, it presented a problem. Brought it in 4 times, once the car sat there all day, and I was told they never got a chance to look at it. They never beleived me that the door locks were not operating properly on the driver side door. They sighted e mails from the Ford hot line that it was operating properly, and that there was no auto unlock feature from the drivers door. This was after a full year of all doors unlocking from the drivers side. They just wouldn't listen and didn't care. After the 4th visit they called me to tell me they think there might be a problem, of course this was after I contacted Ford customer service. I finally brought it to Bright Bay Ford Lincoln in Bay Shore. They diagnosed the problem on the first visit, ordered the part, and fixed it. The real crime is that I have bought 5 cars from their dealership, (not the Transit) and I own a local business for 30 years just up the block from Newins, just think what I tell my customers now.Charles D'Angelo

Chet the service manager and jeff are the worst!!! They said they could not hear the wind noise in my car when I can hear it over the radio and the fan on high!!! They gave me the run around as well. I have scratches chips mud and grease on my brand new car and chet had the nerve to try and say how do I know you didn't bring it in that way. My car is still not fixed!!! STAY AWAY IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR CAR!
