I don’t know if the work was performed right the first time. I know I had a recall and that was supposed to be fixed along with the maintenance/oil change I had on my vehicle. The next day I notice jerking feeling when I go from zero to 35, up hills, pressing the gas etc. I did call the service department because this is something I had no issues with prior. I had to make another appointment in order for the issue to get looked at so I haven’t drove my vehicle since because I want to be on the safe side. I rated met expectation because I was told it would take two hours for the service to be done and it did, I had a safe area to wait in, and the staff was nice.

Arrived to the dealership a little early and was met with service advisor Gavin. He explained my service and estimated the time it would take to complete the service. I was just settling into check my phone... in what was well before time promised Gavin says Mr. Young your car is serviced and ready to go. Appreciate the clean and safe environment provided. Our latest experience with staff of new city Nissan was extraordinary very kind, helpful and informative. We came in to check why one of our vehicles wheel was indicated with low tire pressure, staff came to look on vehicle and saw a foreign object lodged in the wheel. Staff indicated to set service and was successful with solving our issues.

I have a very good service advisor, Kamuela Kalei. He is very courteous and helpful and pleasant to work with. In July I accidentally shattered my rear window on my 2014 Rogue and damaged the rear windshield wiper assembly and panel. Kmu made the arrangements to have the glass air freighted in from the mainland and made arrangements for Ace Auto Glass to do the installation. Then he arranged to have a new wiper assembly installed. That really eased my mind since I was scheduled to leave for a 5 day trip to the mainland.

The workers at New City Nissan went the extra mile to help me get a car, when others told me staight out no or the one or two places that said ok , placed really outrageous conditions and prices that i still couldnt do it. And they never made me feel stupid or like I had no value due to my credit situation. New City Nissan is a business and like any business its goal is to make money, the difference however between New City Nissan and the Rest...Is that they Really Do care about their customers.

So, when I bought my car a little over a year ago, the contract included two free oil changes. For whatever reason, I hadn't taken advantage of it until today. For months now, Kevin from New City Nissan has been calling and leaving voicemail messages to remind me of this offer. Pretty impressive considering the phone calls kept coming in every month for the past idk... nine months? I thought, he might just give up after the first few tries, but he was persistent. I appreciate it, though, because I value integrity. If two free oil changes are owed, then by golly New City Nissan won't stop until the promise has been fulfilled. Fortunately, for me, it turned out there was an opening at 3pm when I called today to setup one of two free oil changes. I asked how long it would take and Kevin estimated about an hour to an hour half. When I arrived, I pulled up to the service area and was met by Jon Rubio, who would be my service advisor for this visit. He was excellent. He took my information and gave me the same estimated time as Kevin did over the phone, then escorted me to the waiting area.He came to check up on me and provided updates on my car througout the wait (about every 30 minutes). Then, about an hour after arrival, he told me that the battery was no good after the standard performance tests were conducted on my car, but not to worry because it was still under warranty and they could replace it for free. He even threw in a free car wash for the extra wait time. All in all, I was given what felt like VIP service, an accurate wait time and was out of there no longer than an hour and a half with fresh oil, a new battery and a clean car!

I dropped my car off at 0630 for an oil change. I also had them take a look at my "low tire pressure" sensor. While at work, they'd call me to keep me in the loop of what was going on with my car. Customer service was great.

I've been to so many dealerships and was absolutely treated with disrespect from either their car salesmen or management but once me and my husband stepped foot in New City Nissan we weren't bum rushed with car salesmen, they gave us breathing space and time to think things through together, however, me and my husband already knew what exactly car we wanted which helped the process. I would highly recommend New City Nissan to everyone looking for great cars, timely services and great customer service! We love our Nissan Rogue and never regretted buying it. Only reason I'm not putting 5* for buying process is because it took them a long time to finish everything and hand me the keys (more so because we were trading in a car and trying to get more value).

When I came to pick up my car, he gave me a complete and accurate recap of everything that happen with me car. My experience with New City Nissan began in 2009 when I purchased my 2007 Sentra. I have a habit of observing how "anxious" salespeople are when people arrive. I will drive into a dealership lot and if employees begin to approach my vehicle even before I get out, I will drive right out. At New City, I ended up purchasing my 2007 Sentra. This latest purchase was for the benefit of allowing my mother to continue to drive a dependable vehicle - so I intended to visit New City again, being satisfied with my previous purchase. I did some "research" online and was pleased to find New City's inventory. I did some "inquiry" and was contacted via e-mail by Summer/New City, but was ready to purchase and did not reply. then a couple of days later received a phone call from Francis/New City who somehow got my phone number (from what I am assuming is from New City records) and called me to see if I was still interested in purchasing a Nissan. I set up an appointment with him after my vacation. when I met with Francis, my experience was pleasant and productive. I explained what I was looking for (no extra bells or whistles) and was looking for the most economically priced Sentra they had. I was already pre-approved with my credit union and declined their offer of zero% and received no hard sell or "recommendations" otherwise. I came in on my lunch hour, and they were very aware that my time was "limited" and once I decided that I was going to purchase, they tried to process the sale as quickly as they were able to and achieved getting a quote for my trade-in, and process the sale in a couple of hours. I also was pleased with their service that I decided to purchase more warranty coverage than I normally would have with the "money saved" in dealer rebate and trade-in value.

After my 2014 Nissan Rogue was serviced on 11/09/2015 at New City Nissan, I answered an online survey similar to this one. I had mostly positive comments except regarding my question why the interior of my Rogue couldn't/wasn't vacuumed before or after the exterior was washed. I received a follow-up email acknowledging receipt (I think) of my email but WITHOUT an answer to my question regarding vacuuming of the interior. If I recall, that email asked if I was satisfied with the answer to my question. Unfortunately, there was NO answer to my question. Thank you for listening to my situation but I no longer reside in a single family home where I could just plug in a floor vacuum to an electrical outlet and clean the interior myself. Residing in an apartment, my Rogue sits in a parking lot that is at least 75 feet from the nearest electrical outlet. I may have to buy a cordless vacuum if I want to clean the interior.

When I pulled up in the Express lane I was greeted by a very friendly young lady. She was very courteous and professional. It didn't take long for her to pull my name up on the system. The wait wasn't too long and the worker was able to answer my questions at the end of my visit which really showed that she is very knowledgeable at her job. Overall, my visit was excellent! The staff that helped me that day was great! The facility was very clean and it offered a comfortable waiting room with free Wifi and some coffee which was great.

Always friendly staff, and they inform me of what's happening with my car even when there is a delay and the reason for it. I don't mind the wait since I can actually view my car from the upstairs window as it is being worked on, and the waiting area is clean and welcoming.

I presented him with a non-working car remote and he put a new battery in for me, cleaned off the contacts, warned me that some corrosion spelled bad news at some point, but sent me on my way feeling like he knew what he was doing, cared for my car and me, and that service was NUMBER ONE. They took my vehicle for service, everyone was friendly and proffessional. There was freshly brewed coffee in the clean waiting area. Plenty of periodicals and newspaper to read. Clean restrooms and nice flat tv to watch + comfortable chairs. There also is a full view observation deck to view the technician working on my Nissan.

I own a 2007 350Z coupe that I purchased used in 2009 from a BMW dealership. Recently, the passenger airbag warning light started to blink on my dash console. Making this matter worse, my safety check was due and the car would not pass with this light blinking. I took the car to New City Nissan to have the problem checked. There I met Kevin Kualapai in the maintenance area who completed all of the work done on the car. Before he started any work or tests on the car, I told him that I would need a safety check done "IF" he fixed the warning light problem. I was shuttled to my office at no cost. Later in the morning, I received a call from Kevin regarding his assesment of the problem. He gave me an estimate of $2623.10 + tax to fix the problem. I was appalled. He explained that the job would require him to replace the entire seat assembly, not just the sensor, that would have to be special ordered. I told him that I was not prepared to spend that much money right now and to set the car aside so I could pick it up within the hour. When I arrived, Kevin produced an invoice that explained the $95 test he had completed to diagnose the problem that also had the cost of a failed safety inspection added to it. I asked why he completed the saftey inspection knowing the car would fail. He told me he was required by law to do so. I know this is not so, but to add insult to injury, I just learned that my model of car was listed on a factory recall by Nissan North America, Inc. in 2008 to specifically fix the passenger airbag problem. I am dumbfounded that this dealer would not know that. I will not have the work done at this dealership nor will I ever return to this dealership for anything related to servicing my Z.

The experience was straightforward. All staff were uniformly helpful without being pushy, and the 'bargaining' part was kept to a minimum. The adminstrative aspects of buying the car were minimal and went smoothly. Antonio Hotta -- the lead salesman -- made a good impression. Also, the first person I met with when I came in, "JC", made an excellent impression and deserves credit for keeping the customer 'coming back'. (This was the very first day of my car-hunting effort.) I only needed a simple, basic car, and I liked that nobody tried to sell me more car than I wanted. In total, I perhaps only spent a couple hours at New City -- from the time of my first visit and leaving with a new car.

My sales representative was Blake Nakahara. From the time we met, he was very curtious and caring. He took the time to explain the car buying process. My mother felt ill and we had to leave the dealership, Blake brought my mom a bottle of water and walked us to our car and was genuinely concerned. That meant alot to both my parents and to myself! I returned the next day and we closed the deal. He helped in pairing me with the right automobile for my lifestyle and my pocket book. He kept it REAL for me, and for that, I am truly grateful! Requested a quote online and immediately got a phone call within 15 minutes from Sunshine. She was very friendlly and accommodating and arranged for us to meet with a salesperson (Antonio Hotta) who was also very freindly, accommodating, and knowledgable. There really was very little flexibility in negotiating on a price, but they did provide a financing option that met my requirements on a monthly payment basis so I was able to purchase the vehicle my wife and I were looking for. Antonio was also astute enough to notice a few dents and scratches on the new vehicle that he arranged for New City to replace (not repair) the panels. As I write this, it's been two days and I am still waiting to hear from him to schedule a pick up. New City had indicated that the car would probably be ready some time today.

I was looking for a used Altima but this dealer called and said they had a 2003 Maxima with only 35000 mile on it. Went down there and met the salesperson (Antonio Hotta), he was very professional, had all the necessary info(carfax),showed me the vehicle which I took for a test drive. After the drive I made an offer of $$$ and he countered with $$$. Anyway we met in the middle and I drove off the lot very happy and satisfied with the great service Antonio provided and a vehicle that will probably last me another 10 years!!

Upon arrival he told me that someone is also interested.Initially thought is was to pressure me but i didnt let it get to me.Willing and Ready to buy I wanted to test drive it. Upon returning I was told they are selling it. The car I was ready to to walk in and buy.Everything I wanted and taken right out of my hand. What kind of service is that. You know what the manager came out and told me, (Chan) Sorry but first come first serve. He tried to sell me a more expensive Armada. To me thats very poor service. I see how Nissan salesman work. Also asked to see the invoice for the vehicle. Brandon didnt let me see it. To me another reason to get me angry. Dont even want to buy a Nissan now.

I bought my car from New City, something that I've regretted ever since. The buying experience itself was decent, with the usual back-and-forth dealing. But their service department is terrible. It began when I took my car in for the protection package (rust proofing, fabric/carpet protection, etc.). They said they had sprayed on the fabric protection when, in fact, they hadn't. I had to take it in the next day and double-checked that it was done properly. Three months later, I took my car in for its first service. Later that day, I picked it up, paid the bill and left. It wasn't until I got home that I noticed my tires hadn't been rotated (there are distinct markings on one of the rims, and it was in the same corner - front driver side - as it was when I dropped it off). I reread the service summary and saw that "tire rotation" was listed as part of the service, which I had paid for. I took the car back and asked to speak to the mechanic (first name: Emerson), who insisted he had done the tire rotation. His supervisor came out and proceeded to imply that I was lying. He then went on to say that I had no proof of the offense since the car was driven off the lot and that "perhaps [I] didn't understand the process of tire rotation." Ridiculous! I took auto shop and it doesn't take a genius to grasp the process. I've never had such awful service. I had heard horror stories about New City's service department, but I didn't think they were true until this happened.I've since been servicing my car with the fabulous folks at King Windward Nissan. I'm in the market to buy another car and I'll be buying it from King Windward, regardless of whether New City has the bigger inventory...I'll factory-order if I have to. I won't patronize a dealership that treats paying customers with such blatant condescension and disrespect.

The newspaper ad stated a vehicle price for a vehicle that was "well-equipped". When I went to the dealer to look at the "well-equipped" vehicle, I learned that "well-equipped" means "it has lights and a horn".They are a typical dealer, with over-inflated prices and newspaper ads that are ridiculously low to lure in the customers.The sales team was uninformed and didn't know the vehicle. I knew more from my research than they did.

One thing about dealerships in the Ala Moana area, they seem to charge the highest prices for vehicles in Hawaii. I came to this dealership with a ad that stated the price of a certain vehicle I wanted to purchase. Well, not only did they tell me they didnt have the model I was looking for, they tried to sell a different model but at a higher cost. They didnt even devulge that there was a $1500 customer rebate from the company, talk about dirty. I can say that the salesman, Manny, was so incompetent, he had to bring his manager to try and sell me the car at a inflated price.
