I had a truly exceptional experience at Mossy Honda over the weekend. After making an inquiry on their website, I was contacted by the internet director, Kevin Polzer, who invited me to come in for a test drive and assured me that he would make me the best deal. I quickly took a short drive to the dealer and was immediately impressed with this place. The lot and the showroom are spotless, and there is a lot of activity going on everywhere...there is just a good vibe at this place and I felt very comfortable. After meeting with Kevin, he introduced me to Alfredo Ortegon, who is also in the internet department. Alfredo had great energy and really made me feel comfortable. He listened to what I wanted and was very helpful in selecting the right vehicle and the right equipment. He was very knowledgeable about the Civic, and he seemed to know their inventory really well. After a test drive, and looking over the numbers with Kevin, I decided that I needed to drive at least one other car before committing to the Honda. Kevin and Alfredo were very professional, I did not feel overly pressured. They even introduced me to their General Manager, Adel, who was delightful and very professional and courteous. After a couple of hours I made my decision to go with the Civic, and I called Alfredo and Kevin to let them know I was on my way. When I arrived, Alfredo had the car waiting, and we set off another drive, which only confirmed that I was making a solid choice with the Civic. After mulling over colors, we made the deal and the rest of the process was prompt, and went very smoothly.My paperwork in the finance department was completed by Eddie Hernandez, who was also extremely professional, courteous, and just had more of that good vibe that runs through this place and everyone that works there. Eddie took the time to really explain everything that needed to be signed, and he also did a great job making sure that I was protecting my new vehicle the best that I could. This was absolutely a 5 star experience all-around, and I recommend that everyone check out Mossy Honda Lemon Grove for your next car...be sure to ask for Alfredo!

My Car was about to give out on me, I was reffered to Mossy Honda by my Mother who had just purchased a car through their dealership, I was shown a couple choices with great customer service and salesmanship by Ernesto. Third car was my final decision and I was finally happy with my choice on the vehicle, the test drive was awesome, and Ernesto put in overtime , to make sure I was able learn all of the aspects of my new car, after I had finished with the finance department. Not only did Mossy Honda have the exact Pilot I was looking for, at a great price - my salesman, Mickey Perez was great to work with. I have just purchased a Honda Pilot from Mossy Honda, and, although the car itself is great, I am very unhappy with how they tricked me with the financing. I recommend that everyone check their credit ratings online before going in, as they definitely pulled a scam on me. The salesman said that they looked at my three credit scores, and picked out the highest one, and based the interest rate they charged on that score. But when I went to check them, upon driving home, I found that they had picked my lowest score in order to justifiy charging me more interest than they should have. I intend to tell everyone I can about this. They may have cheated me out of thousands of dollars in interest, but I hope that others will learn from my mistake.

That whole aggressive salesman attitude seems to be a thing of the past because I did not witness it on any of the deals going on the floor. There is a huge disconnect somewhere between the sweet little clueless receptionist who makes your service appointment and the actual polite young men that greet you whe you bring in your car. Twice now I diligently follow my service minder and call to question the appropriate time to bring in my car to service-- I am told yes, make an appointment, arrange my day to accommodate appointment and the end up being told politely to go home, nothing needs to be done quite yet on your car.

I was in the market for the 2016 Honda Civic and did a lot of quote requests online since I did not want to deal with long hours of negotiation at the dealers. Mickey Perez was the first one to contact me. Very friendly, easy to talk to and assured me that his price is the lowest out of all the dealers. I told him that I will keep in touch with him while I get quotes from the other dealers. True to his word, nobody could even come close to his price and one dealer even got upset that I wouldn't come down and talk to his manager to "negotiate a good price". I was in and out of the dealership with no hassles. I'm loving my 2016 Civic and would definitely recommend asking for Mickey Perez. He will take care of you.

Any car shopping and/or buying experience can be a pain in the neck. Hence why I started my car journey via internet. After visiting numerous sites and pouring hours researching cars, I finally came across a pre owned 2013 Chevy Impala on Mossy Honda, Lemon Grove's website and submitted a request. Less than 24 hours later, I received an email from Mickey Perez, Internet Sales Manager. Not only did Mickey answer my questions via several emails in a timely manner, he NEVER once pushed the subject for me to come in to see the car. That gesture right there inclined me to go ahead and call Mickey to set up a test drive. So with all the commotion of Christmas Eve and Day that Impala ended up sold. Even though I was slightly disappointed Mickey NEVER once pushed me towards another car because he must have known that my little heart was set on an Impala because an hour or so later Mickey calls me and advises me another Chevy Impala came in except this one is a 2014, 20,000 miles less, and equipped with a sunroof package !!! When my grandmother and I stepped into the dealership from the cold night air Mickey immediately offered tea and coffee to help warm us up, and made sure my grandmother fresh from knee surgery was comfortable and relaxed before going into the process of buying the car. Its a preconceived notion there is almost always difficulty discussing financing and even though Mickey gave my grandmother and I some privacy to discuss, Mickey ultimately agreed with my father (who was not present) and offered to let us think it over. On 27 December 2015, I returned to the dealership with both my grandmother and father's support. Without asking, Mickey revisited what we had discussed the night before and still gave us time to ourselves before we officially agreed to go ahead with the deal. Mickey then sent us off with a warm trade-off into finance where we were welcomed by Enrique. Even though there was a mini uproar amongst family about the "need" for additional protection, Enrique kept cool calm and collected. Determined to meet the customers need, Enrique was able to offer me a deal where I was STILL comfortable with payments along with the piece of mind my investment has extended protection. Again, the whole car shopping and/or buying experience can be a pain in the neck, especially with overbearing family members, still nothing beats that moment when Mickey handed over the keys to my car :-) A million thank yous to Mickey, Enrique, and team at Mossy Honda Lemon Grove.

Purchased 2016 FIT EX here. I decided to go with this dealership as I felt I received honest, conservative, and realistic assessment on obtaining 2016 Honda FIT built in Japan, knowing very constricted availability of the model in the US. My contact was Mickey Perez for the entire process of deciding upon the purchase. Travel distance from my home to obtain the vehicle was over 200 miles and the reader may surmise how pleased I was with the dealership on my decision. Few points of merit in deciding upon the dealership were: a) price point; b) sales advise from client perspective instead of typical sales pitch; c) ability to obtain the vehicle directly from Japan and intimate understanding exactly when the vehicle arrives from overseas.

Although we did not buy a car from Mossy Honda of Lemon Grove (we bought a much more expensive luxury car elsewhere), we were very impressed with Mossy Honda and were especially impressed with our sales consultant Mickey Perez. If we had bought the Honda Accord Touring model ( a great car with a lot of features for the cost), we definitely would have bought it from Mickey. He was great. He was honest, very informative, personable, and not pushy at all. Also, he took us on a great test drive that allowed us to test the car on freeways, rough surface roads, and serious hills - way more meaningful than the typical test drive that you get from other dealers. We definitely recommend Mossy Honda of Lemon Grove and especially Mickey Perez.

The reason we bought a Honda CRV and not some other car is because we are very satisfied Honda owners - having two 2006 Honda CRVs - one of which we traded in that had 222,000 miles on it. I felt I was given the royal treatment while leasing my Honda at Mossy Honda Lemon Grove. But it also occurred to me that they make every customer feel V.I.P., which made me enjoy the experience even more. The facilities are very nice, clean, and spacious and they have an almost overwhelming number of cars to choose from. Luckily, I had a family member who already had an existing business relationship with Fernando; however, I felt as though Fernando treated me with the same respect, kindness, and candidness. Each car I wanted to take a look at was pulled up to the front and ready for me when I got there. Being a first time leaser, I appreciated Fernando's honesty in regards to which car would help me save more money in the long run. I greatly appreciated the fact he was willing to help me get the deal I needed to get into a new car. He even lost hundreds in his own commission just to get me the deal I needed! After negotiating the deal, I was introduced to Carlos in the financing department. Carlos was also incredibly efficient as well as understanding of my amateur experience in car shopping. I had been so apprehensive about dealers and getting taken advantage of but found such comfort and reassurance at Mossy Honda. I am grateful to them both for putting me at ease and I truly did find my best deal at here and feel lucky that I got to finish the deal with both Fernando and Carlos. I am sending every family member and friend to Mossy Honda Lemon Grove but specifically to Fernando and Carlos! They made the experience seem nearly effortless, which is an impossible thing to do.

I bought a new 2015 Honda Civic EX from Mickey Perez on November 1, 2015. I came in looking for a good deal on a moderately priced car. I had been to other dealerships that day and wasn't planning to decide and buy a car this day. Mickey made me such a good offer and searched for the specific color and model I wanted, that I couldn't turn down the deal. Throughout our entire experience, we felt like we were talking to a friend, not a salesman. Ernie is knowledgeable and fun. We went with a figure that we wanted to spend, and Ernie made sure we got what we were looking for. Ernie introduced us to Art, a service adviser, who made us feel confident that if anything happens to the car, they will fix it and take care of us. I had an appointment this morning at 8am for a recall part on my Honda pilot. Art in service was on time with the appointment and got every set up including a car rental in under 20 minutes. Not only that but i recently had some body work done on the drivers side door and ask them not to wash the car because the paint was only 1 week old and they HAND WASHED IT!! Come on! Are you kidding me, they went above and beyond what they needed to do, they didn't have the heart for me to drive off the lot with a dirty car. Great team, every one was smiling and helpful. They even gave me a brand new 2015 civic with under 300 miles to drive around. I think it was a shot to make me want to buy a new car! Not really but it was nice. Art Equivel thanks so much for your professionalism you deserve a big increase in pay and promotion!!

First off, the buying experience wasn't the greatest. I felt pressured and after all said and done, I realized why I was being pressured. During the signing of the paperwork, I realized that the interest rate that was promised was not the one that I was being given. When I explained to the gentleman what I was told by the manager, I was told that he wasn't there and that he didn't know what agreement we had made. I ended up signing anyways since my wife was excited about the car and had already told her family that we were buying a new car. The most recent bad experience that I had with them was last week. I took my car to get serviced (second time since I purchased it), oil change and car wash. When I got home, I realized a plastic piece was missing from the driver seat. I called them up and explained to them what had happened, they promised me a call back from the manager. Well, that never happened. Not once, nor twice but four different times. I went into the store yesterday, was told the same thing, that a manager would call me by the end of the day. I waited and waited and never received a call. So, I decided to go in today again, just to be told that they were not going to replace the plastic. The manager, Ana Garcia, appeared to have her mind determined and wasn't listening to what I was telling her. She argued that I have had the car for quite some time, and pretty much made it seem as if I lost the plastic piece. I explained to her that my car had only been serviced twice, both at the dealership, and that the only place that it could have gone missing was there. Once again, her reply "my workers are not going to get fired for a piece of plastic." Instead, of telling me she would look into it, she continued to tell me that her workers are not going to get fired for a piece of plastic. Once I asked her if cameras were available to view, she stated that she would have to go back and look at the time my car got serviced and date. I asked to speak to someone above her, she simply told me that he was not in the office and only gave me his name instead of giving me contact information for him. She then told me to let her look into the problem before contacting her manager and stated that "he" would call me on Friday. The plastic is not an expensive piece what so ever but when I take my car to get serviced I expect it to come back complete. In conclusion, customer satisfaction is not their priority contrary to what they tell you. All they care about is their sales and when a complaint is received, they will always be right. Look at a different dealership for your next purchase, one who actually cares about their customers and wants to do the right thing.

I was looking for a Honda HR-V LX in Milano Red, for 3 weeks. I would find the car of my dreams online and would call the Honda dealers to confirm the vehicle was in stock. They would tell me "yes" come on down, I then ask "Are you sure, please check to see if my car is on your lot". They would tell me, they were sorry, or it just got sold, there's an error but to come down anyways. I called Mossy Honda in Lemon Grove, and got the same answer. I called back the next day to speak with the first sales person to check if they knew of any coming soon. The salesperson never called me back, called again and got a hold of Mickey. He said he would call me the next day to let me know if they had any delivered the next day or any idea of when they were expecting a red one in. Mickey kept his word and called me the next day when they received the car, but explained he wouldn't be able to save it. At no time Mickey didn't try to sell me anything other vehicle, he knew that was the car my little heart was set on. I finally arrived to the car lot, Mickey still had the HR-V LX and made the process as easy as buying a new car can be. Thank you, Thank you so much Mickey for helping me in finding my dream car and staying late just to finish up the paperwork and watching me drive away with a cheesy smile on my face.

My experience at this dealership was very good even though the heat was pretty bad. Mickey provided us with comfy seats and tv in a well A/C facility and some cold water while we waited for the paper work process. Mickey was very helpful in finding the perfect car for us. He called us on Saturday morning October 19th because we were interested in purchasing a vehicle. He gave us great inforrmation about the cars we were interested in. Our plants were to go to Penske Hyundai first to check out the Sonatas, Fernando told us they had a Hyundai on the lot and also several Honda Accords which we were looking for. Because he was so kind we decided to go to Mossy Honda first and check it out. When we arrived we asked for the Salesperson who called us this morning and the guy we where talking too found out who it was immediately Fernando Martinez, unfortunately we had forgotten his name oops!!. During my 16 years of being married, my wife and I have bought 4 cars together. Three new Hondas and 1 used Audi. This is the first one I purchased through internet sales and the first time that I can say it was a truly positive experience. We wanted to trade in our 2003 Pilot for the newly designed 2016 Pilot. We knew exactly what we wanted in color, trim and drivetrain. After scouring the inventories of about 50 Southern California Honda Dealerships in the LA, Orange County, Inland Empire and San Diego areas for about three months, I finally found it coming to Mossy Lemon Grove. I was put in touch with Fernando Martinez, MHLG's Internet Sales Manager. After letting Fernando know our situation, he talked to his supervisors and came back with a fair and reasonable price. But because of the supply and demand for this vehicle the dealership's offer consisted of a protection package that we were not interested in so I countered with buying some other accessories that we would consider purchasing. After some thought Fernando's supervisors approved the offer. The car was still en route to the dealership. During the next week Fernando and I traded many emails, texts and phone calls. After the application process was completed and a deposit was made, Fernando ordered our accessories and agreed to have them pre-installed once the Pilot was on the lot. All the paperwork was FedEx'd to us so we could read them at our convenience and sign in advance to pick up our credit union check. Ultimately, this allowed for the smoothest transactions when we finally arrived to pick up the car. Upon arriving Mossy Lemon Grove we were greeted by a friendly, energetic, and well-spoken Fernando. He had the keys in his hands and asked if we wanted to go for a test drive. He informed us of a lot of the new features. He even purposely had me stop on a hill to show that the new Pilot has a feature that will not allow the Pilot to roll back when releasing the brake. He further exemplified his knowledge of the Pilot by explaining even more features while we did an inspection of the vehicle. We came inside to a comfortably air-conditioned and clean showroom with tasteful music playing at a reasonable level. After some trade-in paperwork, we finalized the purchase with Remo Sultani, the finance manager. Remo, too, was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. Since Remo, Fernando, my wife, and I had a couple conference calls prior to the pick-up, all of the options that are usually discussed and decided in a finance manger office were already done. All we had to do was sign next to the X's. Fernando walked us to our new Pilot and showed us the final software features. He programmed our garage door opener to the home link button and programmed our iPhones to the bluetooth. Not once did I feel like I was being fast-talked into something that I did not want by either Fernando or Remo. There was never any pressure. Only a desire to answer questions and make sure we walked away happy. During our conversations we found out that both Fernando and Remo have been in the auto industry for decades. Their experience showed and MHLG is very fortunate to have two employees that know how to build trustful relationships while anticipating their customers needs and wants. I will highly recommend Fernando and this dealership to anyone interested in buying a Honda.

I've always bought used vehicles from private sellers and this was a first to go to a dealership to buy. I went with my father to just test drive and check out the new Accords. We were helped my Mickey Perez and he was very informative, helpful, and fun to work with. After test driving I picked a few I would like to possibly look at in the future and told Mickey I would be back when I was ready. I wasn't planning to buy so soon but after some trouble with my old Accord I decided it was time. I went back in weeks later and worked with Mickey and he helped me to get the Accord Sport that I wanted. It was a great experience. One issue I did have was some miscommunication at first at the front desk when I spoke to someone to see if Mickey was working, but they told me he wasn't when he really was and this put a kind of kink in my schedule so I didn't end up leaving the dealer till almost midnight. But even after leaving so late up to the last minute Mickey and his advisor was very friendly and helpful. Thank you!

The ONLY reason I deal with this dealership is that is close to my home and I deal with Mercelino who is an extremely courteous and nice guy and really understands that a friendly smile and courtesy can go a long way in business. They tend to recommend service that is not needed (I take good care of my car myself or elsewhere) and is super expensive! They really stuck it to us and told us that they could get us in a new Honda for the same payment as the current car. That was a huge lie! They keep calling us wanting to buy our 2009 Honda because "they need it in their inventory of used cars." While my car is practically brand new due to the care I've given it, this is BS. They just want to take me for another ride.

So last week I made an appointment to check out a used 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid. This would be my first car buying experience in San Diego. I was nervous at first that maybe I would get there and the car wouldn't be what I expected or the cars salesman would just pitch me all the goods about the car and I would be trapped into buying a car I had no idea about. Well, the complete opposite happened. I was seen by my sales rep and instantly the rapport was built. Mickey welcomed me and hustled at every chance to get me something to drink, eat, and asked if I had any questions. Mickey did an excellent job. He understood that I had just gotten off work and he was trying his best to make this car buying experience worth staying late for. Not that I stayed late or anything, but the atmosphere was that great that I wouldn't minded staying a little longer. Once all the information was put into the system it was time to kick back and just enjoy the experience. Mickey definitely went to bat on my behalf and that was all she wrote. Next thing you know it was sign sign sign time and a few moments later I was out the door with my new purchased 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid.

This was my first time ever buying a car 1) from a dealer and 2) brand new. I was so worried about having to go through the awful car buying experience that is so infamous of dealerships, with all the pressure to buy, upgrade and add options, and for price wheeling and dealing. My experience at Mossy was far from that. I'd already visited other Honda dealerships near me, both of which had my car listed at a higher price. Fernando contacted me from my online inquiry and was responsive to my questions about the car I was looking for. When I made it out to Mossy, he had my car already waiting for me (clean and all!). We test drove it and he showed me features I hadn't been shown during my previous test drives at the other dealerships. After the drive, the rest of the process went just as smoothly. He did offer the optional add-ons and packages, but didn't pressure me when I turned them down. Fernando stayed past closing with me, and even stayed while I was filling out the financial paperwork to ensure everything went well and said goodbye as I left. I brought a friend with me as a "safety", being that this was my first time buying from a dealer. However, I feel that I could have done it on my own, thanks to the relaxed atmosphere and personability that Fernando showed me. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a new car. I got the best deal here and had a fantastic buying experience. I'll definitely keep bringing my business here.

Great service, I cam in to purchase a Van for my wife and just wanted to shop around to compare prices. Well they made it hard for me to do that. Service was great and there was no pressure to buy. Just facts with no up-sale. Theres a sayin out there " cant hustle a hustler". I came in there expecting to exploit all aspects of the sell and use it to my advantage. That quickly turned to plan B when I met MICKEY PEREZ and the sale manager. Both were straight shooters and when it came down to facts and numbers I couldn't argue. I was looking for a deal and I love leave dealerships angry with as I walk away with a deal I basically robbed them. In this case who knows if I got the deal of the year but I left feeling like it. Wish is worth more then getting an actual deal. Not saying I didn't get a great deal but MICKEY and the manage allowed my to make my own desicion and let me weight my options out to make my OWN choice. Thats what matters. Great people with no pressure. I didn't have to run my credit for them to talk to me like most places, I understand they dont want to waste time with people then they don't get approved but this place showed my it doesn't matter and consider everyone who walks in to be a customer. Thats better then 90% of other dealer in SD already.

Let me start off by saying that my salesman was very knowledgeable about the car I test drove, and I believe he approached the potential sale appropriately by asking if he could run my credit first. Knowing that I was a well-qualified buyer, I agreed. We noticed that most cars had a rock-bottom rate of 0.9% and he agreed to ask if that was available for the Honda Fit EX-L w/Navi I was interested in. I handed my salesman my current Kelly Blue Book trade-in print out (2008 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab Sport SR5 valued at $16,700+). I also handed him a print out of all service records, an email quote from Fuller Honda, and my bank's current 48 month auto loan rate (1.49%). I had with me all keys, fobs and car title. Needless to say, I was ready and eager to buy. Before going to consult with someone, my salesman asked, "What can we do to have you drive out of here with this car." I responded, "Give me your best rate, if possible 0.9%, match the email quote from Fuller Honda, and give me what KBB is stating my car is worth." He took my paperwork and went to consult with someone.Minutes later he returned stating that 0.9% wasn't possible. I was ok with that; I would just go with my bank. He left again and returned with an offer. They had valued my trade-in at around $13,000, and printed a payment schedule that included down payments of 2, 3, and $4,000. I was incensed! Anyone with a reasonable amount of intelligence could see that they'd undervalued my vehicle by $3,000+ and were now wanting me to put a down payment on top of that?! It was insulting to say the least. I kept my composure and told my salesman that this isn't something I wanted to proceed with. I asked if he could return my paperwork. He left again to retrieve my items. All of the sudden another gentleman appeared and introduced himself. He said he wanted to take another look at the truck to see if he could give me a better price. I told him that I just wanted my paperwork back. A minute later another gentleman walked up and said he wanted to buy my car, and that even if I don't buy from them he'd still like to take it off my hands since it was in such great shape. I told him that all I want is my paperwork. He complied, and I left. My salesman was M.I.A. at this point.So, I ask you, if my trade in was valued at a low $13,000, why in the world would they want to check it again to see if they could raise the value? Why would they want to buy it from me if they valued it less than KBB's trade-in range for "fair" condition? Why? Because it was in great condition. Great enough condition that my salesman asked if anyone had ever sat in the back seat. Mechanically in great condition since every 5,000 mile service was done and documented. The body? Pretty much flawless. I took care of my truck.You see, people like myself take care of their cars because we know that one day we'd like to get top dollar for what we worked hard to maintain. People like myself do their homework, keep records, and shop smart to get what we feel we have coming to us: A FAIR DEAL. Sadly, their employees decided to treat me like a desperate shopper who just needed a car. Like I told their employees, I'm a patient man and I'm willing to wait for what I feel I deserve even if it means selling my truck privately. Sadly, they couldn't see beyond their desire to add another sale at the customer's expense. Im curious how many have had this experience and have walked out? How many sales have walked out the door because they were met with outlandish offers that insult their intelligence? I venture to say many.

It was nice knowing that he was going to be the person to help us with our car. Since we had been there twice and they couldn't work a deal with us i thought it was going to be the same again. I came in after looking online at a used 2013 Accord (6Spd Manual). Mickey was the salesman who helped me out and after a few different vehicles we checked out and a test drive we were ready to close the deal. It was after the realization that Mickey told me he could get me into a Brand new 2015 Accord sport (6Spd Manual) for roughly the same price as the used 2013 and at 0.9% APR instead of my preapproved 7% from my bank. I had to laugh because I didn't think that was possible and I thought he was messing with me. But lo and behold he was a man of his word and was able to get me into a brand new 2015 Honda Accord Sport (6Spd Manual) with only 6 miles on it. I was amazed that they were able to do that because my credit isn't above average or even average by no means but they were able to pull it off in black and white and they didn't hear any complaints from me. Mickey was awesome and so were the finance folk and managers, they all made it happen. They even threw in the first free oil change and free tire rotations and car washes for a year as per the VIP card. Their service department works well to get you taken care of but since they are very busy it is best to schedule your appointment a day or two in advance. The only qualm I could say I had was that yes the car washes are free but since California is in a drought, there is only certain hours that they are able to accommodate those free car washes and it is only tues-thurs from like 11-1pm I believe so you cant go any day to get your free car washes. But every time you have service done on your car they ensure your car is washed and cleaned. But other than that little hiccup every thing else was awesome and everyone is completely professional. I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a Honda and even people who's credit is in the high 600's to low 700's because they can make it work, especially if your in the military with a guaranteed paycheck every two weeks which probably helped me get that 0.9%. I cant complain, thanks again.

There were a few dings in the exterior of the car (as it was just a new trade-in and hadn't been "perfected" yet) and the dealership is scheduling a day to have the dings fixed, as well as upgrading the alarm system. We took one out and test drove the vehicle. He took me through every road condition there is or was.Even on the highway. When we got back to the dealership I told him I was still in looking stage. He thanked me and gave me one of his cards. And I assured him I would ask for him if I came back to purchase a Honda. Low and behold I went back after checking other Honda Dealers. I just wanted to take a moment to say how much I appreciate my overall experience at Mossy Honda. Mickey in sales deserves special mention. He had patience, was personable and helped me to select the right car, a Honda CRV that I have come to appreciate. I was thinking of the bigger Honda, with all the bells an whistles, but really didn't need it. Great gas mileage, wonderful performance. In fact, all the people I came into contact with were excellent. The only thing I miss is my XM radio, but I will add that back in time. I liked the experience so much, I sent two of my sons in to buy cars; unfortunately only one of them was able to keep the car, but even that was not a bad experience, but rather a lesson to my son. I purchase a used car for 24,000.00. I gave a trade in (8,000) plus a 10,000.00 down. Since it was a used car it had some dents & dings. The day of the deal we dealt with 2 managers first one said he was going to replace the door molding the second said he was approving fix the dents. On the iou it only said see Marcello, no details about the work approved. A week later I brought it back for repair, 5 days later I picked it up and it only been touched up and nothing was replaced. We asked to speak to the manager and after he went back on his word he gave us two options, either take the truck as is or I can give you your car trade in and money back. I said okay give me my car trade in and money back . They had sold my trade in the next day we trade it in, So they took 3 days to give me my money back. After everything they put me through they try to offer to fix the problem and then try to get me in a new truck but after an experience like that who would want to buy a car from them after all?. That was the worst experience I've ever had with a dealership. Would not recommend it.

What I have to say about Mossy Honda! Well I was originally leasing a 2012 Honda Civic when DCH was there. I stopped by in July to enjoy one of my "free car washes for life" and ended up speaking to a sales rep, Kevin Polzer, because I was concerned about going over my miles on the lease and I wanted information about buying a vehicle for the future. He informed me that I could actually trade my current lease in and about a week after he came in on a Thursday which his day off to show me some options! The day after showing me cars and getting to sleep on my decision I met with Kevin again and traded my 2012 Honda Civic for a brand new 2013 Honda CRV LX! Kevin provided me with stellar service and made my experience extremely personable! I would recommend his services to anyone! It was an amazing feeling getting to drive away in my dream car THAT I bought all on my own! Now two weeks later, I come in to drop my CRV off to have the LoJack installed. Initially, I was told that my CRV would have to be taken elsewhere for this installation and I would be provided with a loaner vehicle to provide me with transportation to get between my two jobs! However, this morning that wasn't the case. My appointment was set for Friday, August 16 at 1030. I came in at 1000 and was helped by service advisor, Michael Quichocho. I told him I was there to drop my car off for LoJack installation and then he asked if I was 25. I told him "no, I'm 24." He responded with, "well, you look 18!" Not only was I insulted by that comment but he refused to give me a loaner vehicle and even asked if I could call my mom or dad to come in co-sign? I didn't even need my "mom or dad" to co-sign to purchase my vehicle but now I need them so I can use a loaner vehicle? Then he asked if i wanted to go see what my sales rep, Kevin, could do for me...thanks for doing absolutely nothing to help me Michael! I have never had an issue ever renting a vehicle! This was absolutely humiliating and I am beyond upset with this service. All customers should be treated with upmost respect no matter there age, gender or race! Also, if I purchase a vehicle from your company I expect you to help me as much ad you can!!! If I didn't pay extra for the service package I would honestly prefer not even setting foot in the service area to be humiliated by such an insulting employee.

I visited this dealership twice as I shopped for a family sedan to replace my gas guzzling Chevy SUV. Each time, I received excellent customer service and spoke to knowledgeable sales guys. I test drove a CRV, Civic Hybrid, and Accord but ultimately decided against a Honda. They did not seem to have any special deals that would fit my needs (to eat up some of the negative equity in my trade). The only thing that they should improve is their internet sales contact follow up. I don't like spending lots of time in a dealership so I usually scope out pricing options by contacting the internet sales team and explaining what type of deal I'm looking for. Still, I would recommend you visit this dealership if you are in the market for a new car. They weren't pushy and were helpful.

When I told them I was buying elsewhere they undercut the price. I have a FICO 0ver 800. The day I bought they told me I'd been approved on financing. 10 days post-purchase, 9 days after I took delivery, after they knew I'd sold my old car (I didn't trade in) AND only after I sent a rave letter to American Honda they decided I couldn't get their financing. I'm waiting final confirmation that they never submitted a financing request to Honda's official financing department. I have to wait to see who requested my FICO report, but so far it seems they never asked Honda (yes they are a participating dealer--I confirmed this with Honda) to finance. I think they wanted to back out of the deal. When I got a letter demanding I return the car I responded asking for details on denial and advising I would be sending them the remainder before the first payment would have been due. And if they didn't agree then we would be going to the mandatory arbitration. I have a copy of their original price offer which is way below MSRP and the car--I had been pre-approved for a car loan on my own and the check has been sent by my credit union. So...make sure you are pre-approved elsewhere, make sure they give you approval of financing in writing, don't take delivery until two weeks after approval if you've driven a hard bargain. And don't sell your old car until then. And don't write any pro reviews until after you get your first bill from the finance company. They push you to do reviews for them. Most sites won't take back your first review. I learned this too late on another well known car site.

i've searched for 2011 Toyota Sienna SE all over the places, and no Toyota dealer near Los Angeles, Orange and San Diego county had any SE model available. Ironically, Honda had odometer reading 18,000 miles used 2011 Toyota SE at $2,000 cheaper than the market value. From Orange county i decided to take a look at the car in Lemon Grove San Diego, and there it was the perfect superwhite 2011 Toyota SE sitting in a lot, one of the best rated Honda Dealership. Luckily for me, previous owner traded in the car and got himself a top of the line Honda Odyssey ($44K+tax). I took a careful look at the car, test drove it, and i liked it a lot. NO accident no damage, perfect history of check ups at Toyota dealer sight using VIN number (nowdays you can check history of the service record with VIN number if they took it to dealer because for Toyota they give free service check up oil change and car wash for up to 20K miles). A perfect car for my family. it was equipped with the proffered package and addition to that the previous owner put huge DVD entertainment system in the back for kids which is what exactly i've done. I so happy on already lower priced than the market valued car but it always would hurt to ask for more discounts, I asked for $500 more discount to get at least $250 more DC, but gave me $300 discount which was better than my expectation. I took the deal, bought it with cash, waited few minutes for them to put together the paper work, and while i was playing with my kids they washed the car ready to drive off, signed the paper finished. People there are very nice, the sales man who helped me was former San Diego Chargers' player Chuck Ehin. Fantastic personality, knowledgeable, experienced, and it was my honor to shake the hand of a piece of history~ two thumbs up! I wish
