I'd never go anywhere else.I have always received top-notch service, trustworthy advice, and great attention to my automotive needs. They give me every reason to keep my service up-to-date, which extends the life of my cars. I trust them to keep me on the road.Over the years I have received service from so many of the employees. I bought my car in for service bout 3weeks ago,I had a check engine light on..So they begin working on my car it stays over nite I get a call from my advisor he says your car ready I get it I have to pay $175 for service ok fine..So the next day I'm driving my car,my check engine lite comes back on SMDH..I piss so I drive straight to the dealer,I tells my advisor so at this point I'm confused..So he says will take another look,they do keep my car again over nite,the next day he says it's a major job ok I'm covered under a warranty so I should be fine..My advisor contact my warranty,,they will take care the problem which was a $733.00 JOB..I pick my car up today,I go work etc..SMDh,, My check engine lite is back on AGAIN CANT BE SERIOUS IS WHAT IM SAYIN!!!So of course I contact my advisor again tells me to bring it in the morning..Like I'm highly upset with the service department..And I can't speak to no manger though?I don't understand the service they have there I'm totally lost at this point with the technician can't fully understand why the tech not getting it rite..

This is our fourth (fifth/family ) car from Michael Jordan Nissan !! Each experience has been great ! This time, it was due to an accident (not my fault). Being thrown into car buying is not easy, especially when unplanned and time constraints are warranted. I wanted what I had, a Rogue. Nick helped us decide on options/features we wanted and drove it off showroom floor for me to drive home in record time. Every step was routine for them and easy for us. Always a great experience ! I purchased a relatively new "program car" from Michael Jordan Nissan two weeks ago, and drove away feeling quite happy. I stopped down the road a bit to take care of some quick shopping before proceeding home. When I came out to my car after shopping (less than 30 minutes from leaving the dealership), I found two large dents on the roof above the driver's door. I quickly returned to speak with the salesperson to confirm that they were not there when I purchased the car. I mentioned this incident in an email to the customer service dept. and asked about security camera footage that might help establish the condition. The representative offered to have the body shop look at the damage, and repair it at no charge. I picked up the car today from the body shop, and it looks like the beautiful car I left with two weeks ago. Thanks to everyone at MJ Nissan for putting the "shiny" back on my car purchase.

If any of you have ever purchased a vehicle you know how stressful it can be. Not true at Michael Jordan Nissan From Tiffany Roberts' initial contact in response to my online request who was patient with all my many questions, comments and concerns. Then there is Ricky Alston who greeted me the moment I walked in, I felt as though I was really dealing with a friend someone who wanted to make sure I got the vehicle I wanted and was comfortable with my purchase. Ricky didn't rush me through my purchase. I work 2 jobs so my free time is limited Team23 worked around my schedule even stayed late. Thanks guys!! Ricky explained every new feature during my drive test. My new 2016 Murano has all the comforts and features and being old school as they say. I forgot something he went over the day before and I had to call the next day. Ricky responded right away.I was determined to use my bank for financing Kevin in finance suggested I let him see what he could do and I am glad I did he saved me money by getting a much better rate saving me money. If you ever made any purchase and wondered later on if you made the right decision...you won't at MJ Nissan I am 60 years old so I've purchased several cars over the years and was never comfortable enough with an experience to be loyal to a particular dealership or brand I really didn't think I could, however, after my experience at MJ Nissan and Team 23 's excellent customer sevice....I am truly Team23 for life..

This is my second time doing business with Royce Martin. Again, he went above and beyone expectations. I had an ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING experience with Royce Martin. We bought a Nissan Sentra last year from Raheem and was so impressed with their customer service we went back for our second vehicle. Raheem was off when we came in, but he happened to be there and left us in good hands with Nick. We had an idea of what we were looking for which made it easy for us. We were down between 2 dealerships and Nick was able to get us a fair price for our trade in, and incentives to buy from them. Royce also did an excellent job on the finance end and would re have never had a negative experience with them

Process was seamless. Sales Rep Rick Alston made the process easy to understand and helped with all aspects of the sale. There was not a lot of pressure from the sales team and there seemed to be transparency in the sale. I came prepared and now I am the owner of a new Nissan Maxima. I would go back again.

The transmission went out on my 08' Versa and I was still making payments on it. Sergio from the 1st phone call I made to Michael Jordan Nissan, was professional, informative, warm and efficient in helping me understand and execute a trade and eventually a purchase I really wanted to drive away in.He works so hard to find the best case scenario in all angles involved in the purchase. He even gave me a ride to the dealership to complete my purchase. Sergio is very humble in his customer service skills-he goes the extra mile even when dealing with multiple customers. He's definitely a key player at that dealership, and I would recommend working with him for sure. I was very comfortable with him, and felt like he's all around an excellent employee and just generally a very nice person.

Mike Brown is the best salesman! He helped me since I arrived at the dealership, and even after I bought my car he made sure that everything was fine with the car and that I had no problems. He helped me with everything from selecting my car within the budget I had, to making sure it worked fine. Kevin was great, too! He helped me with all the paperwork, registration, and explained everything to me, as this was my first car here in the U.S. This is a great dealership with amazing people, everyone was so friendly and professional. I recommend it a lot!

Sergio was very professional, funny, friendly and personable. Sergio was great to work with! Clearly, he is very committed to offering excellent, prompt customer service. He listened to what I wanted, which I wasn't clear about, but never during our interaction did I note any annoyance nor did I feel rushed to make a decision. Although, I knew Sergio was working hard for me; he did not make me feel like I was an inconvenience. The first deal he came back with wasn't going to be the best deal for me, my budget, etc. I was more concerned that I would have to walk away from the dealership without the car I wanted. Sergio asked me to come back to the parking lot to find another option, and I did. We walked back into the dealership and I had a seat while Sergio went to work on another deal. He ran back to me and said, "Eric, I can't sell you a car without you test driving it." We hopped in to the car, that I now own, and we tested it. I loved it just as I do now. From every small detail, Sergio was on point. He knew his job, he was clearly a natural at selling without being overbearing and pushy. Everything about it was great. The 2015 Altima I have is a great car, and I learned a lot from watching tutorial videos on Sergio's tablet while we maneuvered the deal. The car is still great. Sergio's checked on me a few times, and I love MJN!

Before I went to Michael Jordan Nissan I had drove a Nissan Rogue and loved it, so I knew I wanted to stay with Nissan. I was just looking for a car that got better gas mileage. I worked with Chris and decided to test drive a 2015 Altima. Chris was very knowledgeable about the car and answered all of my questions. He was attentive as to what I wanted in a car. He was calm and patient and while making my decision. I never felt rushed or pushed in to making a decision. Chris went over all the details about numbers but also took the time and went through the entire car with me and explained all of the features. Working with Chris was such a breathe of fresh air!

I had agreed to a Nissan Sentra, but a few days later, I realized I didn't want it and Sergio took it all in stride and led me to another car. It was a pleasure to give him the purchase. We took our 2010 Nissan Xterrra in for some service at Michael Jordan Nissan a few months ago and was greeted by a very friendly and non pushy Nick Vrscak who directed us to the service dept. and also assisted us when we inquired about a used awesome Ram 1500 they had in stock. Nick answered all our questions honestly and proved to be a pleasure to deal with. Before we had left the dealership that morning, we had traded our Xterra in on the Ram thanks to Nick's assistance and willingness to work with us and our budget. Wow, I have never had the great experience I had working with Raheem. I was very intimidated to lease a vehicle, and I had a hard time selecting which vehicle would be best for me. When I finally figured it out, Raheem was able to deliver everything that I needed and then more. His knowledge was more that impressive but what left the biggest influence on me was his outstanding customer service! He delivered everything I wanted in my car and has been extremely helpful ever since. Most dealers are done with you after the purchase, not Raheem , he still treats me as if I am shopping for a car, with the upmost respect and prompt responses. I recommend him to everyone I know looking for a car because he is the man and he gets the job done! Needless to say I am totally satisfied with my experience and Michael Jordan Nissan, I don't know if Michael Jordan himself could have doe a better job!

I would have to say that my resent experience with Michael Jordan Nissan is not your stereotypical dealership. It seemed that they were actually willing to work with you on all aspect of the purchase. Not the back and forth you typically will have to go through when purchasing a car. I would go back and recommend everyone to give them a try. I purchase a LEAF and Derrick was the salesman.. He is very knowledgeable about these cars and was able to answer all my questions.. If he did not know the answer, he would not just make something up, he would find the answer!!

I went in with no intention of buying a car but left with a car that I really don't like. I felt very pushed the entire time, they started by having me test drive cars they knew I could not afford and I continued to express how frustrating that was. I was in need of a car so I was probably more vulnerable in their eyes and they took complete advantage of that. I left with a car I paid way more than what it was worth I later found out and had to take it back several times to have spots in the paint fixed. I spoke to a manager and expressed how dissatisfied I was with the car after having it about a month and he didn't really seem to car. All in all I am not stuck with a car I do not like and will never purchase another vehicle there! I tried to leave severa times before the purchase but they kept pushing to buy, my fault for not just leaving!

From start to finish the buying process was easy and stress free! I asked for information online and I got a response the very next day fromTiffany! We were not quite ready to buy at that exact moment, but there was no pressure. When we were ready about a month and a half later, I texted Tiffany and got a response right away. We set up an appointment for the very next day (even though we could have gone that same day). Derrick was our salesperson when we got there and he was awesome! We knew exactly what we wanted, and Derrick answered our every question. He never pressured us to upgrade or look at anything else other than what we were interested in. He was so personable and very knowledgeable. Even after the sale, he spent a good amount of time with us explaining how everything worked and making sure we were fully satisfied! Jeff has sold us two of the Nissan nv vans. He has been by far the best in the business! Treated us great, knew the product, took care of everything, even dropped off trucks at my office with a full tank of gas. We love the nissans and had been getting them from elsewhere and I have to say that as long as he is at mj's that is where we will go from now on. We are growing fast and I expect to have a real fleet in the near future and with him handling things I know we are in good hands. Bought my first Nissan early 1992, a new frontier truck. Five years later, a new Nissan Sentra. In Oct. of 2013, saw a gently used Nissan Frontier, sent an email message and later that day, I purchased the truck. In Feb. of this year (2015) I was looking and found the perfect Xterra, online. Sent an email and got a call back from Lisa Mason a few minutes later. Had also dealt with Lisa on the truck purchase. Told her I would come by in an hour to check out the vehicle. It was late on a Sat evening and cold. I drove the Xterra and fell in love with it. Lisa kept checking and shopping me the best interest rate and price. On Monday, I signed a few papers and my new Xterra was delivered to my home. It was the easiest and best car buying experience ever. Thanks, Lisa! Drove from New Bern NC. to buy a 2009 Nissan Xterra since it was one of a very few low milage Xterra on the market at that time. When test driving the vehicle a very loud noice was heard comming from the back of the vehicle. The sales person stated that he did not noticed the noise when he drove the vehicle earlier, (it was impossible not to) noice was evendent and very loud. Once back at the dealer slaes manager send the car back to the service department, after a while I was told that it was fixed (parking brake shoe pads sticking). I just happened to run across the mechanic who "worked" on the vehicle and he stated that they could not find anything wrong but the car was not making the noise when they drove it. I looked under the car to and to my surprize I find transmission fluid leaking from the transmission near the diferential, I point it out and the sales persons plays it off. They had the car up on the lift minutes earlier and they did not see that... They are all about the money not the customer. Watch out for these people; from the sales people to the used car sales manager.

We needed a new car and had been dreading going through the car buying circus full of the high pressure sales tactics rampant in the industry (I felt like Jamaal Charles trying to juke past all the sales managers on my way out the door at one dealership). After stops several Nissan dealers in the triangle we visited MJ Nissan where Andrea (who was awesome) had exactly the car we wanted in stock. We feel like we got a great, fair offer and quickly on both the Rouge and my trade-in without lacing up the gloves for 12 rounds of negotiations. Andrea was absolutely amazing helping us with the purchase and was very thorough with explaining all of the features of the Rouge and she even filled it up with gas for us. I highly recommend MJ Nissan, Andrea, and Marcelo for anyone in the market for a new Nissan.

Lisa Mason was the first employee that contacted me. She listened and answered all my questions. She set up a time for me to visit the dealership and I was greeted by her at the front door. She then introduced to to Mark Osoro who worked with me to find the ideal car for me. I test drove 2 cars and decided on the Versa Note. Mark knew about the car and showed me all the controls/functions before I left. Mark then introduced me to service advisor Carolyn Trapp to set up my first service appointment. Here again she got a time and day that was good for me. Last but not least Ken Massenburg who explained the warrenty and paper work. My wife, daughter and I bought a pathfinder from MJ Nissan this weekend, and this was unlike any other car buying experience I've had. I especially want to compliment Mark Osoro for his knowledge, patients and help. Like I told Mark, I loath the car buying experience but I felt appreciated and understood and never once did I feel pressure. Unlike other dealerships, they don't have aftermarket dealer installed accessories/services that you're required to by (like pinstrips on the car) that many dealers use to mark up their prices and pad their margins. We made several visits to the dealerships, drove several cars, and each time Mark was great. When it was time to finalize our purchase the dealer worked with me to meet my budget constraints. The final paperwork and financing was a breeze with Ken. There was zero pressure to purchase extended warranties, undercoatings and whatever else many dealerships push. From beginning to end, the sales experience and process was without stress. Thanks again to Mark for helping out so much.

I spoke with Jeff Lintz by phone a few months before I purchased my vehicle and due to my busy work schedule I couldnt seem to make the time to meet him at the dealership to look at some of the vans they had onsite. Last time I bought a new car I was at the dealer nearly all day - never want to do that again. In this case, Rick was able to work all the details out with me over a few days of emails, get exact truck I wanted, and get all the paperwork (minus my signatures of course) before I every walked into the place. Travis and Jessica took care of me then, and we were in and out, including a test drive, in an hour. Everyone was very nice and good to work with, certainly a much improved experience over my last car purchase at Toyota. I guess it helped that I knew exactly what I wanted. It was not available in Durham, but they found it for me in Virginia and it didn't take too long to get to North Carolina. Someone (can't remember who, but in a supervisory position--he knows who he is!) talked me out of the color I thought I wanted and he was absolutely right. I love my Quest (third one I've gotten from MJN) and was more than happy with how everything was handled. Maybe changed the stereotype of car salespeople for me!

My previous car needed a new $5,000 engine so the service consultatant, Tai, said they would work with me to find a better solution. When I came back Tai took me to meet Raheem. The only drawback I had was the fact that I had too many problem after buying the vehicle that nissan pre-certifies, and this is not something expected.I had wind noise on the driver's door that eventually got fixed after many attempts and at least 3 visits to the dealer and they fixed the issue after replacing the mirrors.Also I had a battery issue that had to be replaced and It was inconvenient to have my card towed and unable to be used on sunday.The car charger was also not working since day one, which is something I expected Nissan to pay better attention.The overall service was good, but this type of problems were not good.

I work with people, and I know that there are times when one would not agree to "the costumer is always right" that also does not give the right to be disrespectful either. Purchased my vehicle from the Hispanic sales team and so I would expect to feel welcomed by them at the dealership. My last visit I technically was treated as a criminal by Marcelo...the Director of the Hispanic sales team! Tai from the service department was also very rude and disrespectful. Being a car-nut, it seems I usually have to go outside my local area in upstate South Carolina in order to find exactly what I'm looking for when I'm ready to buy/trade vehicles. In searching on-line I found a Certified Pre-Owned 370Z Roadster at MJ Nissan in Durham, and emailed them about the vehicle. Since I tend to trade vehicle rather frequently, I've had email discussions with MANY dealers in different areas over the years, so I'm used to a lot of different games that get played going the Internet route; however I was pleasantly surprised with how direct and open the email communication was while emailing back and forth with Tiffany. She was very pleasant, easy to deal with, and provided REAL information. With the information from Tiffany, I decided to make the drive up to Durham. Once there, Tiffany greeted me, and introduced me to Raheem, who who was also very friendly and fun to kid around with. Following the test drive of the new car, they offered a very fair trade-in on my existing vehicle, and I decided to complete the deal with the help of Ken in closing the deal and completing the paperwork. In the process, I found one issue on the new car, in that the finish was wearing off one of the rims. They immediately agreed to fix the issue, and have scheduled someone to come take care of it here where I work in the Charlotte area, rather than having to leave the car in Durham and return later, or have to make another trip back to pick it up, which was obviously very helpful. Everyone I ran into at the dealership was friendly and it was a nice atmosphere.

I went into this dealership wanting to trade my nissan quest for a 2014 Pathfinder, from the sales team to the managers they were all very friendly and pleasant to work with. My sales person was Meilyn Chavez she is very friendly and goes the extra mile for you to feel confortable and understand the whole proccess. Even though we could not work out a deal, i still feel that i was treated fair and with respect of my time, dealers that i have visited expect you to stay all day in there waiting for an answer from the bank or trying to work out a deal. This guys respect your time and if is going to take long they will let you know they just dont have you sitting there waiting, I feel the managers worked very hard to make the best possibly deal and earn my business and Meilyn was great, she kept me updated trough the process the comunication was exceptional. This time we did not make business but i will be coming to this dealership in the feature if circumstances change. I thought car dealerships were supposed to want to sell cars. Adequate assumption, right? Apparently Michael Jordan Nissan has other priorities. Like not greeting customers and taking them for a test drive avoiding the highways after being told that highway performance was a priority. However, our salesman, James was nice and knowledgeable. I explained that I did not have my title and it was in a former married name, however, I have the court documents relinquishing the rights of my car (specifically listing the VIN) and I did not know where my ex-husband even was considering we divorced in 2005. The salesperson didn't think it would be a problem (and we were already assured it wouldn't be at another dealer) and went to get the financial manager to discuss the title and my trade in. Now when this guy shows up - his first words out of his mouth were extremely condescending and it went downhill from there. He kept speaking over me as I was explaining what type of documentation I had to tell me "I know how the DMV works and they won't care." He refused to even look at my car (which is in very good condition) because "it was a waste of [his] time." Additionally he told me not to go to another dealership until I have a viable title. He spoke to me as if I was 5 years old through the whole two minutes he talked AT me. With my dad sitting right there. As if we were beneath him. I understand that it is an unusual and difficult situation. But Sport Durst was confident that they could take care of it, perhaps at an additional cost. I am willing to go to the DMV myself but after he refused to "waste his time" looking at my car I won't waste his either. See ya.

I was introduced to Mr. Raheem Wilson in 2011 when my transmission started to go out in my car. However, I was refereed to Mr. Wilson and it was undoubtedly the best experience that I ever had. The process was smooth and I literally filled out the application that morning, and Mr. Wilson called me and told me that I could pick up my new 2011 Altima that afternoon. I have only had three positive experiences with buying a car, and Mr. Wilson is the reason for two of them. He is friendly, outgoing, approachable, and definitely has a predilection for making sure that his customers are satisfied. Mr. Bass always schedules my next appt. ahead of time. He tells me what is need of my Altima according to the maintenance schedule and specifically of high mileage vehicle. Being a female, I like how he is never pushy or exaggerated with service recommendations; and how he doesn't insult my knowledge and/or lack of knowledge of mechanical issue. I appreciate how Mr. Bass shows me via the vital fluids analysis indicator test what fluids need to be changed now and what's coming up soon. I like how Mr. Bass helps me prioritize the repairs on my Altima being that I am on a limited budget. He epitomizes integrity, excellence, and good customer service. I appreciate how he listens to what you say is wrong with your vehicle before trying to suggest solutions. Mr. Bass treats other by the golden rule. His promised completion of service time is right on (if it's going to be awhile he will tell you and not lie to you with quick wait times). However, my frequent oil changes and tire rotations are normally done in 30mins or less. Ongoing, I enjoy the free Wi-Fi, tabletop convenience, and abundance of Keurig drinks.

I brought my 2012 Altima in for service and went to Kevin Hooker about the letter I received in the mail offering me a great deal for my "trade-in." I told him that I thought that the amount was too low so he looked at the car with its low mileage and gave me more money on a trade for a new Altima. I also dealt with Travis Lunsford and he went over the new car and showed me why it would be a great deal. I never worked with Travis but he is a gentleman and a very well informed sales consultant. Kevin Hooker knows how to put deals together and has a great sense of humor. This is the second time we have dealt with him and in 2 1/2 years he still has the same enthusiasm he had back then. Edgewood Properties bought 4 Nissan NV1500 in July 2011. They are used by our maintenance personnel daily. One of the vans experienced a cracked exhaust manifold in the afternoon of March 11; it was taken to the dealership in the am of the 12th and we were advised that a part would need to be ordered. Late that same afternoon we were not comfortable with keeping it on the road. We called Mark in Service promptly; were told that the part had indeed been ordered and would be at the dealership by 7:30 am on the 13th. When asked if a "loaner" could be available so the maintenance personnel could continue to work Mark found us a "loaner". Our man was able to keep on working; we were notified that afternoon that the part had been installed and we swapped out vehicles again. Mark was professional, prompt and EXTREMELY helpful - we could not have asked for better service!!

Environmental impact is very important to me, so when I went car shopping after four years without a car, I looked at the Leaf and some fuel efficient gas-powered cars at other dealerships. Travis Lunsford showed me several Leafs and went over numerous details with great patience. Unlike some salespeople I encountered elsewhere, he never exerted any pressure whatsoever. Best of all, he listened carefully to what mattered to me. I was concerned that though the Leaf''s driving range would be plenty for my daily needs, I would have to rent a conventional car for road trips. Adding that cost would nudge the Leaf beyond what I wanted to spend. Travis and Rick Simonette came up with a creative solution -- they offered me a rental car from their fleet free for 7 days once a year during the three years of my lease. That convinced me to go ahead with the deal. Not only did their idea address my needs, it sent the message that they really listen to their customers. I was impressed -- and I'm delighted with my new Leaf!

Had an exceptionally positive experience with this store, specifically with Travis Lunsford and Rick Simonette. We had been searching for a car for several weeks and while we did have a couple of other positive experiences at other places, most of our visits to other dealerships were awful (terrible customer service). The customer service at Michael Jordan Nissan was incredible. Travis and Rick created a very comfortable atmosphere and actually listened to our wants/needs and they answered every question we had for them. They were extremely accommodating and delivered on everything they said they would, without us having to ask twice. Would definitely work with Travis and Rick again and would highly recommend them.

We recently bought a used Nissan Rogue from this dealership, and I was extremely happy with our experience. Torrey Swain is the guy who helped us, and he was excellent- I don't think I've ever dealt with a car salesman who was so responsive! No pressure at all, very patient as we looked over multiple vehicles, and a pleasure to deal with. As we just purchased the car, I haven't been to the service department yet, but the dealership was very well maintained and professional-looking. My only issue was that we did feel a little bit of pressure to purchase additional warranty/ gap insurance/ maintenance program on the car (not from Torrey, from another associate helping with the financing), but we ended up with exactly what we wanted at a really good interest rate, so I really can't complain. Regardless of where you buy a car, I'm sure this is the same everywhere (we've seen this at other dealers). Overall, very happy with our experience, and I am definitely going to recommend this dealership to friends- especially Torrey! He was awesome. So far I'm extremely happy with the car, as well!

Thanks to Tiffany and Jeremy for providing me with a "Truly Exceptional" experience in buying my Rogue.I submitted an inquiry via the Internet and received a quick response from the few dealerships I selected. While both Tiffany and Jeremy were "Truly Exceptional", I too echo stacywd's comments regarding Tiffany. IMHO getting the customer in the door is the biggest challenge for the seller. Tiffany made it an easy choice for me to come to MJ Nissan of Durham due to her professionalism and sincerity which made me want to travel out of my way. Two other Nissan dealerships are closer to me.Jeremy was extremely helpful during the test drive and car buying process and helped me greatly with my trade in.

Searched specifically for a Red 2010 Prius over the coarse of 3 months before finding the right price online. Started the process with Rebecca via numerous emails and lots of questions on this specific car. After further research, decided to take a test drive, with the clear notion that I would deal only with her. Rebecca was honest, to the point and very friendly during both the email and in person time. I intended to finance with my credit union at 2.25% but the credit union had some issues (their problem) which prevented the closing. The following week, Rebecca secured a loan rate of 1.6% via the dealership. Thanks Rebecca for your initial help. Awesome service.

This is my second purchase of a vehicle....The first was a New Nissan Sentra 2011...I loved the car and just wanted to upgrade to the new style. A bigger car with actually even better gas mileage...My first car purchase, I met Raheem Wilson by accident...this time , I sought him out...when I began to think of purchasing a new vehicle...I went on line and emailed him....I got return emails promptly , Raheem was out of town, they would be happy to assist me....I will wait for Raheem , thank you!....You see, Raheem knows me...I know he will do his best. He isnt going to sell me a car for what HE gets out of it...HE wants to see me happy....So I waited and in a day or so....Raheem returned from his meeting out of town,( which I might say is EXTREMELY RARE!!!)Within 2 days he had me in the car of my dreams.. Buying or leasing a car is about the worst experience you can have since you always feel like you are being lied to with every breath and your wallet is being emptied by expert pickpockets. I was a tough customer to deal with as a result of my fear in this process. When i finally walked into the dealership I was blown away. The place is filled with genuinely nice people. And I got the deal I wanted on a Leaf. 5 Stars. Definitely. My salespeople were Travis Lunsford and Rick Simonette. These are NICE PEOPLE.

Mike Burke was awesome! We are from out of town and had a fender bender that involved the front right wheel. He cared for us, kept us informed, reacted quickly and appropriately, and made us feel a lot better (after what was becoming a bad day). He was trustworthy and forthright, explaining what the problem could be, making a good assessment, explaining our options and overall just taking care of "our problem." I recently purchased my first brand new car, a 2013 Nissan Sentra at Michael Jordan Nissan. The car salesman that I worked with was Raheem Wilson, who was absolutely wonderful! I actually was referred to Raheem by my sister who bought a car from him a couple of months ago. My sister brought me to MJ Nissan to get a feel for the cars and get Raheem's expert opinion on the 2013 Sentra. What put me at ease with Raheem was that he remembered everything about my sisters purchase, from the color, insurance, how much she financed to the questions that she asked in the process..just made me feel as if he really took the time with her..and I felt as if he would do the same for me (which he did) Anyway, back to his expert opinion on the Sentra..he had nothing but great things to say about it. Raheem took the time to show me the different models, colors, and features of the Sentra. He even found me an amazing deal that worked for me as a recent college graduate! Raheem was very patient and customer centered, I had a very memorable experience working with Raheem in getting my first brand new car, absolutely amazing! It is the quality of service from Chris Hughes and others in the Service Department, that made me want to look to Michael Jordan for another car. Chris has always provided exceptional service every time, I brought my car in to the dealership. He is always friendly with a wonderful outlook and greeting. In addition, Mark Padfield and Alice Hinnant have also been helpful over the years and made sure that I received excellent service. I have always been pleased with the way I was treated and appreciated their time to make sure my questions were answered. This dealership truly takes care of their customers, whether you are buying a car or having a one serviced. The high quality of service I received from Chris, on my older Maxima was carried forward by Raheem Wilson who sold me my new car. I have purchased multiple vehicles from this dealership. What I will tell you is the Service Department is the reason I continue to come back to Michael Jordan Nissan, Durham, North Carolina. The Sales Staff of Rick Simonette and Travis Lunsford are great guys and very helpful. If you want exceptional customer service who value you, and value your vehicle, then you need to meet the Service Department. Alice Hinnant, a wonderful person, who has gone out of her way to ensure my car has been taken care of and has even come to the rescue on the side of the road when I thought something was wrong. Turned out to be nothing, but the fact she came on a Friday afternoon along with a Service Tech Eddie was something I didn't expect. When purchasing my newest vehicle Alice ensured me that I was again picking a great vehicle and that Travis was very knowledgeable and trustworthy. Christopher Hughes, the man who I call the official greeter of the Service Department, his desk if the first desk you see when walking in the door. I witnessed him on the sales floor speaking to several of us buying new cars, congratulating us on our new purchases and letting us know if they could be of service or if we had any questions to please call or come by. Mr.. Mike Burke recently assisted my daughter and needless to say that was a great thing knowing this gentlemen ensured my daughter's vehicle was taken care of. The Service Manager, Mark Padfield, has assited me for many years and has always ensured my vehicles are taken care of with the greatest care. I have never walked into this service department and I have been walking in since 2005 and he has not spoken. I always experience the biggest welcome when pulling up and getting out, I hear "HEY MS. SIMPSON " they always recall their customers and they are a busy, busy place. Interesting though busy, I don't have much of a wait. Keep up the Good Work Michael Jordan Nissan you guys are great!!!! This was my first car purchase with Michael Jordan, I had broadly researched the Nissan Versa SV before my visit to MJ Nissan and my expectations have been fully met. The worst experience I could ever have buying a car. Corresponding with Tiffany via the internet sales route was a total waste of my time. I told her we had done all our research, test drives, and were looking to purchase a Nissan Juke in a particular color. We were given a verbal quote with a finance rate that was in the ball park. They did not have the desired color when we arrived, but said they could get it from another dealer. There was a major disconnect during the negotiations, since they would not honor the price quote on the desired vehicle claiming it to be a mistake. When I asked to have the manager come over and explain the rational for not honoring the quote I was told he would not come over. At the point in time we were told perhaps we could get a better price on one of the cars they had on their lot, we decided it was time to leave. We purchased the exact car we were after a few hours later at another dealership.

I'm on my second Nissan Altima, both purchased at this location with the help of Derrick Banks. Michael Jordan Nissan's service department and I had a minor hiccup in the beginning of this three plus year relationship but I've learned that if there's ever an issue, Mark Padfield will go above and beyond to make sure it is resolved without inconvenience to me. Whenever I need to schedule a service or whenever I have a question about the car I know to call Mr. Padfield. He always remembers who I am when I call and he is always very kind and very accommodating. This service department is very busy all of the time but the personal service that I've received from Mark Padfield over the past few years has been exemplary. I highly, highly recommend purchasing a Nissan from this dealership along with having the vehicle serviced there (they even built a new, beautiful waiting area that is comfortable and actually quite a pleasure to hang out in) it really is a great dealership and the customer is very important to them!

I had been visualizing myself in a new Altima for months so I already knew what trim I wanted. I used a certificate from TrueCar which led me to MJ Nissan. Tiffany reached out to me in the evening and we went back/forth on the phone all day after the exact trim I wanted was located at another dealership. Tiffany came & picked me up from my home about 5 miles from the dealership and was extremely friendly and responsive. Travis sold me the car, moving me very quickly through the paperwork process and onto Ken, both of whom were friendly, funny & professional. This was very important to me, because I'm not very patient, and Travis/Ken got me and out in an hour. The SL has a LOT of options and Travis took the time to show me how to start the car, use the navigation and all of the features before I left. Travis also scheduled my first service appointment before I left dealership.On a side note, it was my birthday a few days after my purchase and Travis was kind enough to send me a congratulatory text message.The team is very professional, friendly and although I won't be in the market for a new car soon, I will highly recommend others to this dealership.

She has extraordinary customer service and delivered without hesitation and with quick response what my husband and I were wanting to purchase. I have been a customer for over ten years. My current service adviser is Mike Burke. Mr. Burke is conscientious and knowledgeable. I took my Nissan in today for a scheduled oil change. Mr. Burke checked out my vehicle and advised me of service needed and when the services were needed. He advised one of the services was needed today and I agreed. The other service he explained should be done at the next oil change. I appreciate his knowledge with regard to scheduled maintenance requirements for my vehicle as well as his honesty. The service today was excellent and I was in and out within an hour. He is knowledgeable, conscientious and exhibits excellent customer service. The experience with this dealershio was simply fantastic. Mr. Simonette was very genuine in his approach, making me feel as if I was some high dollar, very important person. Rick Alston was off the hook in his willingness to be sure that I got the vehicle that I was interested in and treated me as if I was a family member versus a customer. I've purchased about 30 cars during my lifetime but never have I had a finance/business guy to treat me as well as Kevin did. These folks treated me so well that they had me beleiving that I was a high roller when I know that I've just an average guy. Once I came back down to earth I was driving away in a brand new 2013 Altima 2.5 and Mr. Simonette had the keys to my 2012 Hyundai Eleantra which he traded me top dollar for and 'ojh by the way' he called his car from the very first conversation we had because he was ready to make a deal happen for me. When I picked up my car from having these services done, I was told I had a hole rusted through my exhaust manifold and it would be very expensive to repair ("couple thousand dollars") and I should take it to a shop like Midas and it could be done much cheaper. Leaving this service appointment, my car was making a new, constant, very loud humming noise. I called the warranty company and learned that this repair would be covered under my warranty. I called the service department back and was questioned about when/where I bought my car because they did not know I had a warranty, apparently they use a different warranty company. The service provider did not offer to bring my car back for repair and quickly got off the phone. When I called back, I was given the run-around "oh, Mike helped you before, he's at lunch and will call you back," which never happened. I called again the next day asking for the manager and was then allowed to make an appointment. When I brought my car in, with my warranty, I was told there was not a problem with my manifold ("you told your warranty company you had a hole in your manifold, that's not true"), that a flange had broken or rusted and that was not covered under the warranty. I asked them not to do anything else. When I picked up the car, it was making a new rattling noise. I took it to a mechanic recommended by a coworker. Upon taking a cursory glance under the car and hearing the noise, he tells me not to return there, "they have disconnected your exhaust and broken the flange and it will need to be welded." This is from a guy that had no stake in the car, he had already told me he doesn't work on Nissan's but would refer me to someone else. I am totally disappointed this MJ Nissan place was dishonest and crooked!

We were in the market for a car and I had already decided that I wanted to purchase a Nissan. We decided that before going to any other dealership that we would go to the Michael Jordan Nissan first, and see the options they had. We immediately met Travis, and he was more than wiling to show us what they had and answer any and every question that we had. And we had several questions, seeing as though this was our first vehicle purchase..ever! We saw the Altima, that I now own and immediately fell in love with it. Travis immediately jumped on it and started the paper work and gave us options on how to purchase the vehicle we went in on a thursday and a week later I got to drive the car home. Kevin who was the financial advisor was also super friendly and we had the most ridiculous conversation while finishing up and signing all the paperwork. I absolutely love the staff that work there and they really make the car buying experience so easy and completely stress free. I would absolutely go back to this dealership and buy several cars from them. My fiance and I found ourselves in the market for a new vehicle, as one of ours was no longer functioning properly. After doing a lot of research online, looking at various types/brands of vehicles, we narrowed it down to either a Nissan Rogue or one other make/model. As we continued to do our research, we were coming across some decent prices on used Rogues and started to explore our options some more. One night, as I considered researching, I found myself on the Michael Jordan Nissan site looking at used vehicles. While there, I decided to take a look at the new (2013) models as well and I was pleasantly surprised to see some of the Rogues they had in stock were listed at prices that were within $5000 or so of the used models we had been considering elsewhere. I clicked on the "Get ePrice" link and received a phone call from Corinna the next morning. She quoted me a price (including incentives) that brought the price for the new vehicle within $2000 of the used vehicles we had been considering elsewhere. She emailed me the price she provided me verbally so that I had it in writing. After responding to her via email about possibly setting up a test drive, I received an email back from Tiffany Roberts and set up an appointment for a test drive with her for later in the week.Upon our arrival to MJ Nissan, we were greeted by Raheem Wilson, who explained that Tiffany wasn't going to be able to meet with me (us), but that she specifically referred us to him for our visit. Raheem was nice, courteous, and extremely personable. After a little confusion regarding the specific vehicle we were going to be test driving, we were on our way, driving around to get a feel for the handling of the vehicle and chatting with Raheem along the way. The test drive was the last thing that we needed to do in order to determine if we wanted to purchase the vehicle, and it passed the test! He didn't try to up-sell us, he didn't pressure us into any actual purchase, he just let us make our own decisions. He brought us over to his desk, filled out the required paperwork to pass along to the finance department, and we waited... though not nearly as long as I imagined we would be.It's at this point that Ken Massenburg came over and started asking some questions so that he could get the financing in order. He left for a couple of minutes to get things squared away, and then came back to get us and sat us down in his office to discuss what our options were. He was earnest, honest, and forthright with all the different options we had regarding payments/financing and any additional warranties/maintenance information. At this point, it was time to fill out all the final paperwork and get some signatures from us. Throughout this entire time with Ken, we discussed everything from our families, to our interests, to car related things. At no point did we feel like he was giving us a "hard sell" on any information he provided, and this made for a much more pleasant experience in getting things finished.We drove off with our new Rogue that morning, and have yet to regret that decision. We have no qualms in referring anyone we know to Michael Jordan Nissan, as well as Raheem and Ken specifically.

My family and I have been loyal to the Nissan brand since the 70s when my parents owned a Datsun 210. We upgraded to a Nissan Sentra. My sister bought a Sentra and I was in my second Sentra ('92 and '99). I went to MJN to do research because I knew was going to buy a car in three months (to save up a down payment) and I already knew what I was going to buy (2013 Altima). I was researching price comparisons between car lots to decide what dealership I would make my purchase when ready. I didn't need to nor had any attention to speak with anyone. I had just gotten off work and just wanted to check out sticker prices, make notes, and go home. Mark came up to me when he saw me walking around to assist. He was pleasant and easy to talk to. I told him exactly what I wanted and didn't want and what mattered and what didn't. He took me around the lot and showed me a few things. None of the cars he showed me really "spoke" to me. THey didn't have the one thing I wanted which was a spoiler in the colors that were acceptable. We were walking into the showroom and I saw a car with no sticker being driven by someone and it was the blue I wanted, had a spoiler and a lot of other extras that really didn't matter but were nice. I asked him how much and to ask the person driving it to sell it to me if the numbers were what I liked. Then I meet Ken and I told him I would buy the car today (even though I had no intentions of buying a car and giving up my 14 year old Nissan Sentra I loved deeply and was still running just fine with over 200k miles). He gave Mark and I the keys to test drive while he worked the numbers. When I returned he finally found something I was comfortable with (after several laughs and back and forth conversations). Ken even gave me his umbrella. Now I am usually very firm when I have made a plan for big purchases such as this but somehow this dynamic duo convinced me to get the car I wanted now rather than later and made it possible for me to stay aligned with my plan for the most part. This is my third Michael Jordan car buying experience. This past Saturday, I came to have my Nissan Altima serviced. While waiting, I decided to walk around. Kevin Hooker happened to be coming into the service area. He asked if he could be of any help. I explained to him that I had recently moved and have to travel a great distance to work in RTP. I told him that I needed and wanted a car: that made me look good (of course), great gas mileage, and a different color. My Altima was gray and black interior. Immediately, Kevin told me about the cars on the lot that fit my criteria. I was so happy to talk with him, this is my third car experience with Kevin. He is so knowledgeable about the Nissan product. After looking at the different cars, everything was going well, but I did not see a color that I was love with. In steps, Rakeem. He told me about a car that had just came in the day before that was the right color. He was right. From this moment on, my experience moved quick. I love men who have a plan and execute the plan. These men were aware of my time schedule. They dropped everything and made it happen. I had no worries, because I knew Kevin had it under control. In the past, I had used Lisa, so wasnt sure what to expect from Rakeem. But he exceeded far beyond my past car buying experience with Michael Jordan Nissan. He even took care of my favorite creamer so that it wouldn't spoil. He is a great sales person. At the end of the day (actually three hours later), I was in a new car. My daughter said that Kevin and Rakeem deserved a medal for putting up with me. I can be 2 handle fulls and some more. These men never made it seem that I was working their nerves. I love that. Kevin said that I was part of the Michael Jordan Family. He is right. Family members, those who care, take care of others. These men took great care of me. I will be back in nine months to buy my daughter's car. I love Michael Jordan Nissan because of the great customer service that I always get from beginning to end. In the words of Tony the Tiger, "Kevin and Rakeem...They're Great!"

I had a great experience at Michael Jordan Nissan today. The staff is great and make everything easy for you. They get you in and out as fast as they can. They make everything convenient for you. Mark Mula went above and beyond to assist me and answer every question I had. He made sure I was comfortable with all the new features in my car. The sales managers were equally as great. I came in for a problem that I had for a while. When I walked in the door I saw they were very busy. Although they were busy a couple of them said they would be right with me. I was shocked that people actually spoke to me. I am used to being ignored at other dealeships. A guy came over from my right, he had a tie on, I found he was the service manager. He asked how I was doing and then he asked what he could do for me. I explained my problem and he went to a computer and started to take my information. I could not believe that the manager would wait on customers. He was fantastic! He listened and asked great questions. He took my information and looked my car over and then told me to have a seat in the waiting room. He, himself, came out about 40 minutes later and told me what the issue was and how much it would cost. I did not want to spend the money but I felt comfortable with him. I got the repair done and the car is running great. Mark was very personable and honest. I felt good spending my money at the dealeship. I will be back. Mark and his staff are great!

I drove my 96 Maxima into MJN on Thursday afternoon to get an electrical problem with my windshield wiper spray serviced. Incidentally, my check engine light had also come on that morning. Chris in Service was great; he had the car looked at right away and was really honest with me about the kind of work that needed to be done on the car (~$600 to start) and whether he thought it was worth it given the state of the car. He told me honestly given the amount of money I had put into the car over the past 9 months that he would cut his losses. This was my instinct too. I had worked with Bill Torri in service back in August and put ~$3500 into the car to keep it alive, thinking it would last me through my PhD program. Bill was great, and believed I'd still get a lot of use out of the car given how much I drive it. The car only had 140,000 miles on it at the time, and we all thought it could get to the high 200's. Well, this latest problem made me change my mind about continuing to sink cash into the Maxima. And Chris was really helpful in getting me on board to buy a new car. Almost immediately, he whisked me into the sales office and set me up with Mark Mula. Mark was extremely patient with me; this was my first new car purchase, and I was on and off the phone with my parents and my financial advisor the whole afternoon, getting their input. We test drove a couple of used vehicles, and then I laid my eyes on the 2012 Juke SL. We test drove the Juke SV and it was a pretty sweet ride. Powerful, fast, compact. I told Mark he had to make me fall in love with grey, since I would have preferred a black or a white car (which they didn't have in the SV or SL trim levels in the lot). It was the last day of the month and they were offering a sweet rebate on the 2012 cars. Still, I balked at the ticket price of the Juke, and the monthly payments I would be incurring on my limited stipend as a graduate student. Mark understood my predicament perfectly, and brought out a 2012 Versa instead. And it was BLACK. I was so touched that Mark remembered my offhanded comment about color from the night before and brought out the car he knew I would love. I dug this car right off the bat, and we went for a nice test drive (~10 miles) to make sure I liked being behind the wheel. Granted, I haven't done this before, so I have limited experience on which to judge Mark's performance as a salesperson. But I'm an anthropologist, so I spend my days and nights thinking about people, culture, and human relations. I can say without qualification that Mark is one of the best people in sales or service of any kind that I have met. He is funny, earnest, considerate, and will bend over backwards to make sure you get the car you want at a price that suits your budget. He's new in the business, but I can see him going far. I should also say a word about Kevin Hooker, the business manager at MJN. Kevin was a lot of fun, and balanced the seriousness of the financial transaction with a healthy dose of friendliness and comedy. I had a great time hanging out with these guys at the dealership over the past two days. They made a loyal customer out of me, and it never seemed like they were trying too hard. You know how some salespeople can come off as corny, or pushy, or fake? Not the folks at MJN. The whole thing felt super natural, not contrived. I believe they truly wanted me to walk away happy, not just because their salaries depend on it, but because they're genuinely nice, considerate people. I wouldn't trust any other place in the Triangle area as much. Consider me a fan for life.

Chris and Bill were able to diagnose a noise coming from under the hood as a generic oil filter. An oil change with certified Nissan parts fixed the problem. Other service providers could not diagnose this issue and MJ RPM Nissan has a new and satisfied customer.

I came to the dealership on New Year's Eve, not really knowing if I wanted to trade my 2010 Rogue SL or if I just wanted to "kick some tires around." As I walked up to the sales door, Raheem Wilson was walking out. He greeted me and asked if I needed help. I told him that I had received some information in the mail from Nissan and I wanted to see if he could do better that what the letter offered. Within an hour of that first interaction, I had purchased a brand new 2013 Nissan Rogue SL and with better options than the letter stated. Then I met Kevin Hooker and the experience just got better. He went through all the paperwork quickly and efficiently. Raheem and Kevin seem to have a great working rapport. I would definitely recommend Raheem as your next salesman!

After my research that was a SCAM of $2801.00... Now they are telling me I lied... Now I am waiting for the attorney to contact me.
