Overall, my experience with Mazda of West Ridge was amazing! I had gone to a few other dealerships (not all Mazda) and decided (without a doubt) that I would be purchasing my vehicle from there. The staff was friendly and welcoming! I drove 25 minutes multiple times and waited over a month to get my vehicle... that’s how set I was in purchasing from Mazda of West Ridge. Toby my sales consultant was incredible! He kept me informed and put up with my countless questions. He made sure the process ran smoothly and that I ended up with the Mazda I wanted. I 100 percent recommend looking here to anyone out there in the market for a new ride.

I wish I could give them a better review. I bought my 2014 Mazda 3 brand new in Charleston SC and we have had issues with the Infotainment Unit and backup camera since day 1 of owning the vehicle. Multiple times in and out of the dealer in Charleston never fixed the issue. Mazda of West Ridge was finally able to fix my backup camera (thanks Tim), after several years of trying, but the issue where the touch screen was broken inside the infotainment unit was never able to be resolved. Basically the touch screen presses itself at random, dialing people, hanging up on people, switching channels etc. I spent an hour on the phone with corporate today and they explained that there was an extended warranty (extending the 3 years to 7)for my issue with the Infotainment touch screen that just expired on me a few months ago. Now I've had my vehicle in for service many times and Tim said he would try to get Mazda to cover this (this was last year when it was still under the extended warranty - that I was not aware of) but was unable to get the OK from corporate to move forward with the repair. Service said a new head unit would be almost $1000 - corporate said that Mazda of West Ridge could back date the order and get it repaired under warranty, but after a few calls today, I was told they wouldn't be able to help me out. This was our second Mazda we had purchased new, and we are currently in the market for a new vehicle, however it will not be a Mazda - the customer service we have gotten from 2 dealerships now has not been what I would expect to get from a new vehicle. How hard is it to do the right thing? What a silly way to lose a repeat customer. It's obviously an issue that is wide spread - there was a recall on it, and if I never received a recall notice about it and I'm out of warranty for a couple months - and my vehicle has been in there (with the touch screen looking all jacked up due to this issue) multiple times now being serviced for routine other issues. Anyhow - for anyone reading this that maybe has the same issue, you can disable your touch screen so you can use your phone and radio by searching for the fix on Youtube.

I got a oil change and tire rotation. They did suggest that I get my filters changed so I did do that. I did like how they sent me a video while I was waiting to show me the filters & how dirty they really were. I. Was able to hit a button to have them change them. That simple.....

As many of the previous reviews have stated, Mazda of West Ridge is by far one of the best dealerships around, not only for Mazdas, but for buying a car in general! Judy Luksic, I cannot say enough good things about you and your team. You certainly live up to each and every single review posted about you. I was 21 years old at the time of my purchase and the first thing that most dealers think when they see that is that I am not a potential customer and that if I am interested in anything that it will be bottom of the barrel and not worth the time or effort. I knew exactly what car I wanted before I even drove onto the lot, a Mazda6 GT. My fiance and I were elated when Judy approached us and offered her assistance. Funny story, I was actually set on buying a 2016 Corvette before visiting Mazda. But Judy convinced me to go with a Mazda6, not because of any sales tactic, but because she was a wonderful person in general. I do not use the word sales person to describe her because the entire experience felt like I was purchasing the vehicle from a friend/relative and not a sales person. We had some good laughs, some solid car buying 101, and that's what makes a sale. Anyone can show you a car and pressure you to make the purchase, but not everyone can connect with their customer on such a level that they make a customer for life. And that's exactly what Judy did for my fiance and I. I would also like to recognize Ed Dolan, the financial services manager, as well. I know some of my requests were not easy and you had to work hard to meet them and I cannot express enough gratitude to thank you as well. TL;DR - Mazda of West Ridge is perhaps one of the best dealerships around. Judy and Ed are genuinely two of the nicest people you will ever meet, and you will be a very happy person if you buy a car from them!

After dealing with a few dealerships I stopped by Mazda on West ridge road. Needless to say this was the last dealership I needed to see because aside from how amazing the vehicles are ..... The staff is incredible. Judy helped me pick out the exact suv I wanted and helped me figure out the best option I could afford with out pressuring me into more. This was the best experience I could have asked for.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff, transparent buying process, and management that is visibly dedicated to serving the customer make West Ridge a superior dealership. I was looking for a specific, very rare car configuration that no dealers in the entire state had available. Without me even asking, the management found one at port and ordered it for me. No deposit, no contract, they just did it on a whim. This is what earned my business over the other Mazda dealers in the area. Very satisfying experience.

Being a 23 year old walking into a car dealership by myself I was very apprehensive. However, Judy Luksic took all the anxiety out of the car buying process. Right off the bat she treated me like a serious customer and was very respectful. She was very knowledgeable and offered great advice. Throughout the negotiation process Judy was very straightforward with me. I feel like I got a great price for the car. Additionally, Ed in finance was a great person to work with. They took car of all the DMV paperwork and phone calls for me. It was a very organized and quick process. From the second I walked in the door to the day I drove off the lot with my brand new CX-3 I had a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend this dealership.

To echo many voices on this review page, this dealership is simply first-rate from beginning to end. My old car died and I found a used vehicle at Mazda of West Ridge online. I touched base with Toby, who not only called and talked with me about what I was looking for and what this car had, but also kept in contact over the next 48 hours to have every piece of paperwork ready for my arrival down to the date lines on the signature pages -- all I had to do was sign. Toby and Ed made purchasing, extended warranty, and financing a smooth and easy process. This was all well and good, but the true mark of good service came when the engine light came on the next day, just before I was supposed to take a weekend trip with my new-to-me car. They responded instantly, brought me a loaner (I live almost 50 miles from the dealership) and made the small repair, all without delay or trouble. They stuck by their product and were wonderful to deal with. No question, I'd send any friend or family member to Toby knowing they would be in great hands!

The salesman was very rude. Try to show me a comparable car that did not have nearly as many features and packages that my car did so he could low ball me on the price. Told me my car was "plain Jane" and tried to charge me tax on the full price of the vehicle rather than the different of the vehicle price and my trade in. Needless to say I will never consider this dealership in the future and I make sure to tell everyone about how awful my experience here was. Luckily I was able to find the car I wanted at a MUCH better price at another Mazda dealership in Rochester

I had a fantastic experience at Mazda of West Ridge. Before walking into this dealership, I visited a couple others and was treated very poorly. As a 24 year old walking into a car dealership, those salespersons treated me like I was nobody. That all changed when I walked into the Mazda of West Ridge dealership here. I worked with Judy Luksic, who was AWESOME! She treated me very well, and didn't focus on how much things cost, but rather told me about the car. She helped me figure out what model would be best for me, and described many of the features. She was easy to talk to, very friendly, and made for a great experience. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a new car. Mazda's are top rated cars, and she is a top rated sales person. Just look at half the reviews on the page here, they all say her and this dealership is fantastic and they're not lying! In the end I drove out in a new 2016 Mazda 6 Sport in Meteor Gray. I can't say enough good things about this car. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with the buying experience and my new car. I highly recommend this dealership and Judy Luksic to anyone! Thank you!

Over the past couple of months, I had the experience of working with all the Mazda dealers in NY, PA, and OH to get the best possible price on the exact model and options I wanted in a 2016 CX-5. Turns out the best dealer to work with was here in my own back yard. Many sales people from other dealers tried working me over in the typical way, and some flat out lied to me. Judy at Mazda of West Ridge recognized this right away and was able to pleasantly get straight to the point without the smoke screens. The entire team was extremely pleasant to work with, from the receptionist to the managers. I can be a stubborn customer, but this team never lost their cool, kindness, or professionalism. They truly earned the sale.

First of all, Mazda is making some of the best looking cars on the road right now. I recommend checking them out if you are in the market. I take my RX8 to Mazda of West Ridge for service exclusively. They are very knowledgeable and flexible. The waiting area is a nice place to be. They provide free coffee, tea and water. I also brought my mother here when it was time for her to purchase a new vehicle. It was a fun process and the way the car was presented at the end was neat. Overall, very nice people and cars.

Toby had all my paper work ready, Ed went over everything and it was painless .Toby even took me back to service and introduced me to all the staff. Who does that any more ? We had called and made an appointment to test drive a vehicle. When we arrived for our appointment the vehicle was parked right under the awning warming up for us. We were greeted at the door by Judy the saleswoman with whom we had our appointment with. She immediately took us to a table in the showroom and had a complete folder all ready for us. The folder had the Carfax report, what work if any had been done to the vehicle etc. Within five minutes of our arrival we were buckling up for our test drive! Judy was extremely informative and professional but down to earth and joking with us at the same time. After going over numbers for a few minutes we started working with Ed the finance guru. He worked hard to get us the best interest rate he could because of our less than stellar credit. We were honest about our credit past and never felt judged by the staff. We drove away that day with the vehicle priced literally thousands less than anywhere else we checked for weeks. Do not go anywhere else for a new or used vehicle!! I will return here for every car I ever buy in the future!!

I was interested in a 2014 Model Mazda. Was told that I should look at the reviews on Cars.com of how the dealership did business. I did and I am happy to also contribute. My biggest issue with this dealer was with the numbers on the car. Mazda had a 3,000 dollar rebate on 2014 models. The price given to me by the dealer wasn't even 3,000 off the MSRP of the vehicle. When I brought this to the attention of the salesman, I was told " Well if its the 170 dollars that is keeping you from making the deal I can get that knocked off". That was not a good response from an employee when the buyer catches you're trying to make money off a rebate that is being given to me by the manufacturer. They never came off their own mark up off the invoice price. Bought a 2015 somewhere else for the same price with no rebates.

I was shopping for a new car, and narrowed down my choices between a Mazda CX-5 and a Nissan Rogue. I contacted several Mazda and Nissan dealerships to request quotes on the vehicles and options I was interested in. From the get go, Judy Luksic at Mazda of West Ridge provided the most detailed - and lowest - initial quote out of the 8 or so dealerships I contacted, there was no attempt to up sell me features I did not want, as one other dealership tried to do, or huge delays in responding to my emails or counter offers as with other dealers. We were glad to give Mazda of West Ridge our business. At the dealership, our new CX-5 was presented under spotlights for our inspection, and Judy did a great job going over the car's many features, syncing my phone to the Bluetooth, and answering any questions we had. There was some haggling to be done over the value of my trade (which is to be expected) but even that process was straightforward and relatively quick. The finance process was also efficient and as pain free as signing a bunch of papers can be. The finance guy, Ed, was helpful and straightforward. There was no hard sell for any features we did not want - we were given a run through of what extras were available, and there were no arguments over any add-ons we declined. All in all, this was as pleasant as a car buying experience could be. We love our new CX-5, and will keep both the brand and this dealership in mind a few years down the road when it is time to replace my wife's car.

I purchased my Mazda in Nov. just a few months ago. Last week the windshield wiper broke. I took it in Friday and this woman said it was most likely something that caught on it, like snow or ice, snapped it back in place. She said that should do me. It is falty. should have been replaced. There has been no ice on window and I park in an open area. Not happy with the whole thing.

I had a wonderful experience with Mazda of Westridge every step of the way. Judy was attentive to every detail, did an excellent job of showing me everything I needed to know about my new CX5, and went so far above and beyond any other salesperson I have ever worked with (I'm 62 and have been through a lot of cars!) that she really is in a class by herself. Everyone at the dealership was happy and friendly, and I was never pressured in any way. I especially appreciated Judy's willingness to spend as much time with me as I needed to get the perfect car for my needs, and she is the only salesperson - ever! - to go on the test drive with me and show me what my CX5 could do. After weeks of researching I finally found a car. Once I knew I wanted a Mazda 6, I visited all the Mazda dealerships and found the car I wanted and visited. Judy at Westridge and she did a great job handling my needs and after going through all the necessary paperwork the hard part was over very smoothly. Once the options were installed and the car was ready Judy went above and beyond to make the fun part just that, Fun! Even when there was small issue on inspection, she remedied it right then and there. I was even speaking to a gentleman that had his car in for service and he shared that they also were going above and beyond to fix his problem. Sometimes it's not always about things being perfect, but what a firm does to remedy it if it's not, that really shows their value. I love my new six and I'm glad I got it here. Thanks again!

We found a model online we wanted to test drive. They called us right back and set up a time. When we arrived the car was reading and waiting. After the test drive we saw a different model we wanted to look at. But we were hungry so we went out to dinner and came back. We took another test drive and decided this was the car we wanted. They stayed open beyond closing time to set everything up for us and arrange a delivery time and date. The car was waiting and ready when I went to pick it up. However the night we went to look at the car the showroom was cold and drafty.

Do not show up with your disabled vehicle on a tow truck as you will be taken advantage of and have to pay the maximum price for the repair. We were charged 6 hrs for a repair that other service centers typically charge 3-4 hrs. A local repair shop recommended the Mazda dealer in Canandaigua for future service center repairs.

After complaining of a problem I had with the service department, I was contacted by the service manager who went out of his way to rectify the problem. The next time I returned for service, He personally made sure everything was done to my satisfaction. Every company in town has a sign somewhere on the premise stating that customer satisfaction is their number one priority. At Mazda of West Ridge it's not just a cute slogan. They seriously do want their customers to be happy with every aspect of their business.

I was hounded to replace the timing belt during each of the 3 oil changes prior to hitting 100,000 miles. They wanted $1,000 for the service. I felt this price was significantly high so I shopped around only to find out my Mazda 5 has a timing chain, which never needs to be replaced. I bought 5 cars from this dealership and am VERY disappointed.

This is the second car I have purchased from Mazda of West Ridge. Every department at this dealership is professional. The service area and waiting area is very clean. Customer Service is very friendly and attentive. I dealt with Greg and Toby in sales and they made me feel comfortable and focused on my needs. Even know they sell Mazda's everyday they knew all the in's and out's of the used GMC I was interested in and eventually bought. Ed in financing is extremely knowledgeable and guided me with patience. Because I was buying a used vehicle with higher miles I bought the extended warranty protection. Ed helped by running through the different scenarios and found the best package for my usage. This has saved me twice already and gives me the peace of mind moving forward. The culture at this dealership is very upbeat and positive. I normally go into a dealership with my guard up. I do not get that feeling at this Mazda store. I met the owner Marcy and can get a sense of why the dealership is so positive. This place is worth a look be it a new or used vehicle

I've been a customer of the team here since many of them worked at the former Saturn of Rochester, located at Panorama Plaza. My family had become a "Saturn family", and my Mom gave me hers when she bought a new one, so I took it to them for service, and they won me over. Their honesty, integrity, warmth, willingness to explain what was needed at a level I could understand, and no pressure (!) won my lifelong loyalty. This was my first car buying experience, as my last car given to me by my father was on its last leg. I shopped around at 7 dealerships before going to Mazda on West Ridge. The service at the prior dealerships was, for the lack of a better term, typical. However, at Mazda, the customer service was excellent from the time I was greeted to the time I drove off. I was left alone to browse the lot, which I LOVED. Nothing worse than an overzealous car salesman to turn you off and send you down the road. I was greeted immediately once I decided to enter the dealership. The test drive was thorough as well as lengthy in order for me to get a good feel for the car. The best part was that the usual dealer sales pitch was not shoved down my throat nor was I pressured into buying anything at any time. The buying process was short and sweet. The financial manager was as personable and grounded as the sales person and was very conscientious of my time. They harassed the lenders until they got me an interest rate well below any other dealership could. They coached me through the entire process, giving me hints on how I could get a lower rate and show my reliability even though as a college student I don't have much credit. Honestly, I couldn't have done this without them. Overall, the dealership and its staff gave me an unforgettable car buying experience. They have gained a lifetime customer.

My first car ever was a used car purchased from a personal seller. It was pretty much a money pit and I soon found out it wasn't going to last me very long. Finally after 2 years, it was pretty much ready to die so I went looking for cars at dealerships. I was referred to Mazda of West Rige by my girlfriend and I loved the experience there. I quickly found a car I liked in my price range. Judy sat down and talked with me about all my options and I was quickly approved for a car loan with no money down due to my good credit. I was able to drive out with a barely used '08 Saturn Aura with loads of extra features. I also got an extended warranty for very cheap that covers pretty much everything. I get free inspections every year and I'll be coming back to Mazda for all my repairs. Thanks Judy!

I went to go view a Hyundai santafe that I really wanted and worked with a gentleman by the name of Toby. He was very professional and helpful. I would have to say that he was the best car sales man I have ever met. He was not pushy rather, he was informative, and welcoming. Most of all I didn't have to deal with empty promises. Though I did not leave with the santafe I went to look at that day (I wish I was) lol I know if it is still available or if another deal comes across such as this I will be returning and I will be requesting I work with Toby.

Just a couple months ago I had convinced myself that I was going to buy either a Subaru Forester or Subaru Crosstrek sometime this fall. I have already owned two Foresters and I really like the Subaru all wheel drive coupled with OK milage, but I was hoping to purchase an AWD with at least slightly better milage. The day we planned to check out the new Crosstrek, my wife was researching other similar SUVs and suggested we check out the Mazda CX5. I had never seriously considered Mazda before, but the CX5 caught my attention with its AWD capability and reported 30+ mpg. A quick check of Consumer Reports indicated that Mazda had pretty good reliability, so the next step was to check out local Mazda dealer reviews. West Ridge seemed to have pretty good reviews so that is where we headed one Saturday morning. We had read about a really good salesperson named Judy in previous reviews, so as I walked through the door (being held open by a friendly young lady) I asked if her name was Judy. It was. In all my car buying experience I have never met anyone so professional in the field of car sales. After test driving the CX5 I must admit I was pleasantly surprised, and possibly the car may have sold itself. But if there were any doubts, Judy convinced us that this car had every feature we would ever want or need. She seemed to have a detailed knowledge of this particular model, and during the test drive she suggested certain things we should try to test out things like turning radius, brakes, etc. This car seemed to fit like a glove, but I had already convinced myself we wanted a Crosstrek, so we headed over to the Subaru dealer and sat in one. It just didn't feel the same. We drove back to West Ridge and told them we wanted the CX5. I did check our purchase price against a well known web site's suggestion of a fair price and I am very satisfied. The dealership is small and very friendly. The owner came out and congratulated us on our purchase. When we picked the car up a few weeks later, they arranged a small celebration (Congratulations sign, baloons). Judy went over many of the features in detail and even set up our cell phones to connect to the audio system. Ed Dolan wisked us through the purchasing paperwork, and even discovered that our trade-in registration had expired and had everything prepared to correct that issue. The entire process was painless. I have not yet taken the car in for maintainence, so I cannot comment on the service yet, but the reviews I've seen look pretty good. So far, I am very pleased with the car. I'm getting over 24mpg in driving back and forth to work (not on the expressway). I hope to do some expressway driving over Christmas to check out the highway milage.

The car I bought is a 2008 Ford Focus SES in April 2012. They also had a Car-Fax report for it. The dealer who helped me was Toby and he was amazing! He wasn't pushy in any way. He went at my pace. He didn't mind that I brought my boyfriend (a former mechanic who isn't a big fan of dealerships) to help me with checking the car out. They didn't try to sell me anything I couldn't afford. Ed helped me with the financial and warranty part. He was great too. He explained everything very well and clear. My boyfriend agreed that the warranties they offered were a good deal so I got one. I would definitely recommend others to this dealership and my boyfriend has said the same. A little touch that they did that I loved was when they knew I was getting the car they made sure it was cleaned and filled with gas and put it in their showroom with balloons and a white board with "Congratulations!", my name and Toby signed it. I was soo excited and loved that little extra touch. They were amazing!

Judy was great to work with for our purchase of a 2009 sienna. Van was cleaned and ready as promised at time of pick up. Finance close out/ signing very smooth. Will be back for another used vehicle in future. Kevin

just purchased a new mazda cx5. i went to this dealer after some 5 or 6 negative visits at other vehicle dealers. i saw the cx5 at rochester auto show and thought it looked great and good mileage reports. talked to judy at west ridge and she was very helpful in getting my trade in accepted and into a new cx5. this dealer gave me more for my trade in about 10-15 minutes. even the ford dealer where i bought my trade offered me 2500 less than west ridge mazda.also the financial part with ed dolan went very well and he was informed about my vehicle as much as a salesman. judy went through the whole working of the vehicle also. please ask for her and tell her lee sent you.

I had purchased my Saturn ION here because of the trust in the service department. Over the miles (roughly 20K per year), I had this dealership do both routine maintenance and repair problems which occurred as the miles added up. When I called for an appointment, describing my concern / problem - they would confirm a both arrival and departure times. Their accurate estimates served my scheduling purposes. In most cases I stayed during repairs. The courteous service manager or representative would update me periodically if necessary. If there was a condition that I had not mentioned or a scheduled maintenance recommendation, it was brought to my attention. This allowed me to plan for future visits or correct an urgent situation. I am pleased to recommend this service facility for their honesty and accurate assessments. Fair pricing ensures they will be there next time I have a need.

I brought my saturn vue in and had my winter tires put on along with an oil change. Everything was completed in a timely mannor and the employees were honest and personable. Overall i had a great experience at Mazda of West Ridge!

These people are hungry for money. They will create additional problems with your car and then charge you to fix them. Stay away from this toxic dealership. They will smile while they rob you.

I just bought a pre-owned Dodge Van and had a great experience. My sales person Judy was very friendly and knowledgeable. I had my family with me and she made all of us feel very much at ease.
