Personable staff. Thorough explanation of how arrived at pricing, company policy. Cleanliness of vehicle. Safety of vehicle as result of inspection. That Markquart has our backs even after purchase. I appreciated that your wait lounge had a cappuccino and chai dispenser - most places have just coffee, and I don't drink coffee. Staff was informally dressed so we didn't feel stiff with them, so we didn't feel we were dealing with elitists.

Chuck and Steve really hooked me up with a beautiful, decked out Tacoma. Steve custom ordered all the parts and had Markquarts master mechanic install them and I couldn't be happier with the way it drives and looks. Cindy was great to answer all my follow up questions weeks after the deal was already done! Truly a top notch place. Don't waste your time with any other dealership. Trust me, the two in Duluth are garbage. They couldn't even get me in the dealership their prices were so outrageous. You would be smart to make Markquart Toyota your first stop. I got the best trade-in price for my Audi S4 and I went home with a badass truck. Thanks again Chuck, Steve, Cindy and the entire family at Markquart. I have to add that I took another toyota I have in for service at Markquart and Mike in service was a customer service pro! Thanks again Markquart!!

Mike Peterson was very friendly and helpful in getting me the car I wanted. He didn't try to force me to buy a car - he answered my questions and allowed me to come to the decision myself. I appreciate that - I do not like high pressure sales situations at all. I love my new car and it was great to be able to get one with no hassle. The preapproval process was also amazing as it lessened the time I had to wait around at the dealership - the loan paperwork was taken care of ahead of time. I was able to come in, test drive, decide I wanted it, sign the paperwork, and go home. It was a painless process :)

Emergency brake repair, I got my van in late on Wednesday they had a fantastic Rav4 waiting for me as a loaner vehicle and called me about what they found Thursday morning got the repairs done and then some for me to pick the vehicle up that night. The entire staff is very pleasant, courteous, and helpful. I especially appreciated when Janelle checked me in and let me know that I would receive my complimentary wash in the form of a coupon because my car couldn't be run through the wash that day (Note: I have too much rust on my car to run it through the touch wash). In the past she has offered to hand-wash my car but that day it was too cold to do so. I was very impressed that she thought to include the complimentary wash (as a standard at Markquart Toyota) but delivered it in a different method. Fantastic!

Service department always takes care of the little extra stuff when asked. Example: Filling tires when the "low tire pressure" light comes on, getting something out of the seat belt latch. Of course, if it's something major I always make an appointment. But the fact that they're there (thank heaven only 5 miles from my house) and ready to help is a blessing. They have friendly, knowledgeable staff.

The presence of our two young children was welcomed (ideally we wouldn't have to bring them, but since we did we appreciated the attitude of all staff toward them). My tire light indicator went on and did not know if it was punctured or due to cold weather required more air. I called the dealership and the individual indicated that I could bring it in but if the tire required repair I would need to wait a day. I did not want to chance my families safety and I had no other vehicle to get home. However, it was a nail in the tire and the dealership was able to get me in right away. I told the individual that helped me that this is great customer service. I will be back.

There have been numerous times in my life when a mechanic or shop tried to sell me something I didn't need and perhaps they even succeeded a time or two. As a woman I feel I am an even bigger target. Honesty Without Pressure !! One would not expect this, but that is precisely what was found at Markquart Toyota in Chippewa Falls. Fortunately my sales person was John West. A very knowledgeable young man whom I would highly recommend to anyone. He certainly does not believe in pressure sales. I also needed my other Avalon serviced. Chad from the service dept. also did an outstanding job of communicating the needed repairs. I am now the proud owner of a Avalon hybrid. Thank you John and Chad for a very positive experience.

We are awaiting delivery next week of the third vehicle we have purchased from Markquart Toyota since 2006. The buying process is straightforward and transparent. They have a no-haggle pricing policy. Were we willing to travel to Minneapolis we might save a little, but it simply isn't worth it to us--I wouldn't trade the friendly, local environment for a few bucks. I always feel the deals are fair and competitive. Not only do we have our Toyota serviced there, but I also have them take care of my Lexus. The service department is excellent. I deal mostly with one service writer, Chad, but have dealt with all of them over the years. Chad is truly customer-focused, friendly, and HONEST. I always know what I am going to pay for service or repairs, and I trust the advice and suggestions completely. Also, while it may take a little searching other sellers, Markquart has proven to be very competitive on replacement batteries, tires, etc. I am obviously very satisfied with the dealership in every way.

I am appreciative to Mike in service for being kind and helpful as my cars' engine broke down. Markquart worked hard at communicating with Toyota to appeal for coverage of a new engine for my certified pre-owned vehicle. Markquart Toyota is like Cheers, where everybody knows my name. I had taken a 3-year hiatus from driving Toyotas, but when I purchased a RAV-4, I was welcomed back into the fold, like an old family friend. They have really done a great job emphasizing customer service by each and every staff member. I actually enjoy spending a Monday morning there during routine servicing - a good chance to catch up with some old pals!

The service at Markquart Toyota is terrible! I took my 2011 Prius in to be services because the engine was revving up and then it would ride rough like the engine was going to quit. After four days of this the check engine light came on. Markquart service first said the car's problem was not due to the recall. After working on my car they said the recall was the problem. However, the check engine was a separate problem not related to the recall and charged my $57 because they couldn't find anything wrong with the car! Wow, really. Its just a coincidence my cars engine starts revving up and then spitting and sputtering like it's going to shut down and the check engine light comes one but it's not related. I will never go back there and would never recommend this dealer to anyone!

I was thoroughly happy with my process of buying a vehicle with Markquart Toyota. The salesman I worked with was very helpful and knowledgeable about the products and about the company. It was great that they didn't "shove" themselves at you as that typical cars salesman. They are there to help you and make you happy. After having the interest in the vehicle, I proceeded to the next step of financial planning. I talked with my banks to get interest rates and compared them with Toyota's. They not only matched my banks interest but got it to be even lower. Everyone involved knew what they were doing and were all super helpful. I recommend this dealership to anyone. I am a very happy customer and I love my vehicle!

I bought a used car here and I totally dig the salesperson, awesome guy. The purchase price was really rather high, but I figured with all the new parts and things done to the car it would be better than buying from some private party and spending the same amount on repairs. I was wrong. Markquart service and sales didn't catch everything. (especially on the inspection part!) They will be happy to take my money for looking at it now, though. Then again, why should they care? The car is "sold as is," right?

Absolutely insulted when told the "best" they could do was give me $5000 below suggested trade-in value and sale me the a used vehicle at $550 above suggested retail value. A $10,000 profit for Markquart Motors, no wonder they could afford to biuld a brand new dealership! Will never go back!!

We had a great experience buying our first hybrid vehicle here. We were searching for a lightly used Toyota Certified Camry Hybrid, which we found here via the internet. Charlee Markquart was our very friendly and knowledgeable sales representative. He was quite familiar with the features and characteristics of the car. The purchase price negotiating process took about 30 minutes. The final price was fair and only slightly above our target. The finance manager took the time needed to ensure we understood all of the details in the purchasing documents, even though we were completing the sale after the dealership had closed, and with one more buyer waiting after us to finish their purchase. We had traveled about 250 miles from a large metropolitan area just to see the car.
