This was my first time purchasing a Honda at the Madison NJ Honda dealership. I have been a Honda car owner for many years. I purchased a 2016 Honda Pilot Touring this year and had Tim Gorzelnik as my salesperson. Tim was excellent throughout the process. I felt very comfortable dealing with him and negotiating a price. He has a very calm demeanor and was very professional at all times. There were some bumps in the road with the production of the vehicle (beyond the control of the dealership) but Tim, along with the production manager, made sure to communicate all the facts and went above and beyond to make sure I had a great overall experience. Alex Zuber in Sales is a very good listener, and very patient. She understood our needs, and saw it through with management. Alex cared about the details we requested, and did all the double-checking. We were in synch and Alex got everything in place through comprehensive emails. So, we just stopped by, signed some paperwork, and drove home with a new, sweet ride! Ask for Maureen Walters in Finance. She is a magician. She got what our needs were and really went to work. Went to Madison Honda due to a need to replace my '06 Outback. We planned only to look, but drove off in a pre-owned 2013 Accord LX. Our salesman (Paul Fuchs) was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and was able to show many of the cars features on the test drive. He was informative without being pushy, doing a great job of letting the car sell itself. The finance mgr. Jose was awesome, working with us to secure a favorable interest rate. The sales process was conducted pretty fast, by Paul Fuchs, no waste of time. They had a good selection of cars, and the facilities are nice.Financing was NOT Ok, there is room for improvement. In my case, as that was the 1st car I ever financed in the US, they offered me a 3x higher rate than the offers I got from other banks (two five-minute calls)So far, the car is OK (it is a pre-owned) and I hope it lasts for another 10 years...

This is the third car my family has gotten at Madison Honda. Always the same experience, no pressure. They let you look around, ask if you have any questions then let you test drive whatever you think you might like. As far as car buying goes, this is as good as it gets. I have been to other Honda dealers and, even being a salesman myself, I couldn't wait to get out of there. I would also recommend my salesman, Mark Stocke. Nothing against any of the other sales people, but he has been my guy for my last two Hondas. As I told Mark when I Ieft with my 2016 Civic EX-L, I'll see him again when the new lease runs up.

This was my first time purchasing a Honda. Paul Fuchs was excellent in his presentation of the different models of the CRV. His patience in showing me all the new technology was amazing. He knows his cars and could explain the different models very well. He understood my financial needs and was able to help me with financing part of the total cost. I strongly recommend Paul to anyone who is interested in looking at the Hondas. I love my new CRV....It had been 10 years since I had bought a car, so I was unaware of the significant costs for different packages dealing with extended warranties. I would like to suggest that the business office when explaining these spend a little more time explaining how much the packages will costs and the impact on your monthly payment.

I received a phone call from Madison Honda when I was researching the new 2016 civic on Truecar.com. I was in love with the car but had poor and unacceptable experiences with the salesmen in both Autosport Honda in Bridgewater and in Freehold Nj. The customer service I received was awful. But I took a chance when I went to Madison. The first person that greeted me was a salesman by the name of Mark Hathaway. He sat down with me and listened to what I wanted to accomplish, my financial goals, and the make and model and features of the exact car I wanted. One of the first things he told me was that his goal was to match the TrueCar price that I had researched. He was happy to hear I researched what I wanted and made me feel at ease through out the whole process. He took a look at my trade in and we went for a test drive. Along the way, he showed me all the functions and features of the civic and went out of his way to drive us past the exact car I was interested in. He allowed me to test drive that one as well. I didn't feel pressured or uncomfortable at all to make a purchase that same day. In fact, Mark offered the choice of putting down a deposit to hold the car so I could have some time to think about it. A week later, I was back to pick up my new ride. We noticed there was a small ding above the left fender and Mark put in a request for an appointment to get it fixed my next available visit for me. I was really impressed he jumped to helping me fix the problem.My finances were dealt by Al Rico who was so cooperative and patient, as this was my first car buying experience by myself. He was understanding of my questions as I was getting all of my car insurance phone calls in order and step by step explained everything I needed to know about all the different warranties and monthly payments. He was so incredibly helpful, I was really appreciative.I'm very happy with my service and purchase from this location. I love my new car and am happy I received great, caring service from Mark and his team. They gave me their numbers to call anytime I had a question or concern. I thought that was very thoughtful. I loved my Honda Odyssey but, after 17 years of a wonderful relationship together it was time to unfortunately part ways. My children thought it was time I moved on from a "mommy mobile" as they are grown now however' after checking the pilot and various other vehicles, I could not even think about living without an odyssey. Obviously there are many new features to the Odyssey that my 1999 did not have and I was fortunate enough to have an incredible sales person spend the time to explain all the new technology to this not very technology oriented person so I felt comfortable with the new changes. He helped me set up my phone and taught me how to use Bluetooth, which I now absolutely love and don't know how I lived without it. I have this AMAZING sales person, Mr. Kamal Bawa, who has found me four wonderful vehicles and has been about the greatest sales person I've had, bar none. He was not overly pushy or rude at anytime which I greatly appreciated. I had a TERRIBLE experience at Joyce Honda where the salesman and his manager where very aggressive, rude and at times I felt very disrespected. They talks towards my Boyfriend instead of addressing me, even though I told them I was the one buying the car. Due to this I left with no desire to go back to Joyce Honda. The sales people as well as the service and support staff are friendly, and eager to help you find the right car for your needs. They also seem to strive to ensure you have a great experience. I say this because of the no-pressure experience I had with my sales representative, Brian Teixeira. He was knowledgeable as well as patient. I test drove the car on 3 different occasions. I just bought a new Accord from Madison Honda. I had shopped around at other dealerships and stopped in because it was local. My salesman Paul Fuchs was informative, friendly, professional and most importantly NOT pushy. I had a price from another dealership and Paul was able to beat it. I only had to wait a few days until the car was available (4 to be exact). I can't speak for anyone else, but my experience with Paul and the other sales staff at Madison Honda was pleasant and I feel like I got a good deal. Had a very nice experience buying my car. My salesman, Paul Fuchs, was a very nice guy who was funny, not pushy, and quick. All said and done (test drive, inspecting car, completing paperwork, etc.) I think the process took about two to three hours. I got a very reasonable price and the car is driving fine so far. I was in the market for a new car and had done extensive research, narrowing it down to a couple of specific makes and models. A friend of mine recommended I see her good friend and colleague Mo Razavi at Madison Honda. I had previously visited other dealerships, including Honda, with questions about pricing and possible equipment load-outs and left each one without a purchase as we could never seem to make the car and numbers I wanted work. Because of this, I was skeptical walking into Madison Honda, but was pleasantly surprised to have that skepticism proven unwarranted. Mo was friendly and personable right out of the gate. He listened to what I was looking for and the budget I was trying to stay in. He never tried to push anything I didn't need, or sell me something I didn't want. He showed me the different pricing options made suggestions on the best possible options for my specific needs. After a little back and forth on different pricing options, Mo sat me down with General Sales Manager, Phillip Ferreira to discuss pricing instead of the normal "playing messenger for the mysterious powers that be" I've seen at most dealerships. The three of us were able to work out a great deal on a great car. The entire interaction felt more like a down-to-earth guy trying help me get a deal on a car instead of salesman trying to get me to buy a car. I walked into that dealership with the intention of inquiring about pricing and potentially returning at a later date to purchase. However, between Mo's outstanding customer service, relatable personality, and forward thinking, I walked out of that dealership with a 2016 Honda Accord EX-L V6 fit to my specifications. The new Pilots are hard to get but Paul Fuchs was able to get one for me at a fair price and a good turnaround time. It was a very good experience - polite but not a lot of pressure. Mo was an excellent salesman who understood my position and made my goals for budgeting and car selection his top priority. I recently purchased a Honda CR-V and would certainly recommend my salesman, Clark Cotton. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. My experience with one of the sales managers (I do not know his name, nor do I want to) was less than satisfactory. He was rude, obnoxious and disrespectful to me and to his salesman. If there is more than one sales manager I apologize for painting this with a broad brush since I don't know his name. My salesman was the only reason I bought my car there and he helped me through the situation. If you don't have to deal with the sales manager your experience should be satisfactory. Everyone else there seems to be very friendly and helpful.

Madison was my second stop, but should have been my first. Jose Alvarez was friendly, patient, and informative. I had just come from another dealership that was the total opposite; they were pushy, lied about the cars available in the area, and very rude. At Madison, I was treated with respect, the true value of the car was honored and they acquired the car I requested in One day. Madison Honda in Madison NJ is not the place to go at all. the sales manager Hector Vinasco has the worst attitude. he final the deal at $1350 sent us home and when we brought the money he refused to give the car changed the price and told us to get out of the store or pay his bills. also disrespecting his salesmen saying they dont have the power to make any deal and do not trust their words they are "nothing". This is not my first incident with madison Honda. first i bought CRV 2010 and they tricked me to pay $16000 extra on top of the car value. without telling us. made us pay this extra money four months after selling the car. and i was forced to get a 2014 civic car which i didnt even wanted in the first place. i understand their job but this is not what it should be like this.

i am very angry at Madison Honda , when I returned my 2013 Honda Accord I thought they inspected it for damages and gave me the ok to lease another 2015 Honda Accord , with out paying for damages. They never inspected it.I get a bill from there finance company a month later for 991.00 dollars. Small hole in bumper. I call normal wear and tear. So beware Dave Lee thinks this is common practice at Honda Madison Very poor customer satisfaction

Every time I drive up to the service door I have to brace myself for the trick Service has up their sleeve for the visit. I've never written a dealer review before but feel compelled to help others make an educated decision re: Madison Honda Service. I called Service two days ago to ask for a quote on rear brakes and rotor resurfacing. Jackie told me $290. Can I use a service coupon? Yes. How long? Hour and a half. 11:30 ok? Yes. I repeated the details to be sure I got it right. I receive the email confirmation for the morning. I cancel and rebook on line for 11:30 I bring the car in today and I'm told it's $390, not $290. I call Autosport Honda and they quote me $250. I tell the service advisor this. He goes in the back room and comes back to say they can do it for $290 but will not honor the 10% off coupon because they're already doing me a favor (when in fact all I'm doing is asking them to honor their word). And my lunch hour has now grown from their 1.5 hour quote to 2.5 hours....I can also mention an interaction a few years ago where the glove compartment was stuck shut. I called Hondacare to ensure the part was covered under warranty. In this instance, Madison Service made me sign an agreement that I'll cover the cost of a repair up to $250 if it turns out the part is not covered. I tell them I called Hondacare and it is covered, but they make me sign nonetheless. Sure enough, I get the call from Service that the part is not covered. I conference in Honda Care who confirms the part is covered, and admonishes the Madison Honda rep on the phone. Kudos to Honda Corp for their honesty, I'm just surprised they let a service dept like this bear the Honda name.

My neighbor is a popular car dealer. Literally, I live beside them but they did not give me the opportunity nor the attention of being a first car buyer. Then my uncle told me, go to Honda Madison, for which I am thankful and I am glad I did. MO RAZAVI welcomed me and in two days he got me a car. My concern was my credit history which was non existent. But MO introduced me to AL RICO, all that AL needed to say was "I did better what the other car dealer looked up for you. WE GOT THIS!" I got my first car in two days. One year has passed and it's time for a newer model car. It's like taking the next big step. I called up MO and the first time I called him up he said, let us wait for the right time and we can get you the right car. As they say, patience is a virtue. I did not call them back but MO did call me. When he saw the right car for me and my family, he had the wheels turning. This time I did not get the car in two days but I got it in two hours. AL RICO said, you were able to do the things I told you to do to build your credit. We got this! That is how I got the car. Even though the dealership was very busy at the time, everyone was patient and attentive. Kamal Bawa was very understanding and attentive to our needs and did not pressure us one way or the other. There was no rush for time and there was no long drawn-out haggling over price. We said what we wanted to pay and they met it. Many times the service drops off after you buy the car and when you come back to pick up the car, they rush you out. As a salesperson I can easily understand a salespersons emphasis on closing the deal.My salesperson was very focused on getting the sale which is commendable. His use of many exaggerations, over stating the truth and his pushy style repelled me and if I could I would choose someone else to work with next time. However I was very interested in the used Pilot as I knew the price was reasonable. Also the shop has a fantastic reputation and I wanted to see for myself it it was truly as good as I have heard. The bottom line is that the Service Dept is absolutely stellar and I am so glad I signed up for their lifetime membership to the Service Club. If I ever need a loaner car they are free and always receive a 10% discount on all parts and service. The service assistants are all helpful and I do not get the sense that I am getting any BS or sold repairs I do not need. I hope to buy my next new car from Madison Honda.

I have owned a Honda of one make or another since 1985. I have always been satisfied with the reliability of the car. When there have been repairs, they are done properly the first time and never need follow up adjustments. They track customer loyalty and provide rewards for servicing the car with the dealership. So, when it comes time to purchasing a new car, the deals are always superior.Of all the dealerships I have dealt with in the tri-state area over the years, I consistently find Honda to be superior to Toyota and/or Subaru, for example. Furthermore, it is generally well known that Madison Honda in NJ is one of the best of the best. Their service department is totally reliable and honest. The sales office is low key and low pressure and actually listens to the customer's needs and does it's best to provide outstanding customer service.Two days ago, I, again, decided to buy a Honda CRV. This is now my third since 2000. Mark Stocke understood my financial constraints, and without haggling or negotiating, did his best to find the best match for me. He is a consumate professional and made the entire process look easy. I was approved within minutes. Al Rico handled the paperwork with equal professionalism. Within one hour of walking into the dealership, I was driving away with my new car. I can't say enough about the stellar service I receive at Madison Honda.

I reached out to my trusty salesman Paul 'Roman' Fuchs. I was in need to help. My brother had recently passed away and I was trying to help his wife, my sister-in-law, to get out of 2 toyota corrolla leases. Both leases were only mid-way through, so they were essentially upside down (we owned more than the cars were worth). The toyota dealership, as well as Toyota finance, gave us no options to get out of the lease, none. Even a death of the owner does'nt mean anything.However Paul, and Madison Honday, helped me. I bought a Pilot EX-L 4WD from Paul Fuchs at Madison Honda on my birthday last year and was completely thrilled with the dealership and the buying experience. After 30,000 miles in a year and a half, I decided to replace my Pilot with an EX-L 4WD with navigation. Paul, Hector (sales manager), and Al (finance) made the experience painless yet again. They had to locate a car because I wanted a hard-to-find color. When the vehicle came in the next day, I arrived to pick it up and all of my financing paperwork was ready to sign and go. I bought a used car from Madison Honda. The Salesmen Jacob Feldon was good to deal with. I purchased a vehicle that had bad tires. On the lot, the tires were Armor alled and looked really good. Good enough that the salesman even commented how good they looked. After driving the car for 2-3 weeks the armor all wore off and the tire walls were rotten and cracked. The vehicle barely passed inspection because of the tires. They had the minimal amount of tread required by law. I contacted the dealer and spoke with the used car manager and was told tough. Since the tires passed inspection in Pennsylvania they were my problem. The tires might have minimally passed inspection but were dangerous and bad. I was going to use Madison Honda for an additional purchase but will be going elsewhere.

Probably the best Honda dealership in NJ. I had a very nice experience interacting with the people out here especially Brian. He was a thorough gentleman. He was not at all pushy like some of the other salesman I met in other dealerships. He has a a good knowledge of the cars which helped me tremendously in picking up the right car. He has gained so much trust that probably the next time -- I will just go on his recommendation and may not even need to do atest ride. Thanks for making this process hassle free for me. Most dealers have polite employees, clean service areas, along with coffee and TV. There is nothing special at this dealer. They write up your service work right in the service bay, which is very noisy. I can deal with the noise, and even their attitudes, but not the rest... As far as service I've experienced much better. I'm going on a "three strikes and you're out" policy here and the 3rd strike is what prompted this review, the 6th strike is what promoted the ONE star. We had the engine light go on multiple times and they blamed it on bad gas. Then when it went again for a 4th time after a gas tank flushing and new tank of gas they figured it out it was something to do with the tank where the filler neck is. When we got our car back we Googled the problem and it came right up as a common issue. We had our SUV detailed there and the back of the inside was still dirty! We actually brought it to the attention of the manager, who after running his fingers along the ledges and having lots of dust on them, agreed and gave us half off the detail. We had a leak in our car which they said isn't covered by warranty. They insinuated we left the windows open (we did not) because they couldn't duplicate it with a hose, and will cost $1500.00 to diagnose. We decided to Googled that problem too, and immediately found a common problem of a drain being clogged behind a mudflap. We took the mudflap off and fixed it ourselves in 20 minutes. I don't believe for a minute the dealer didn't know about this issue, but they would've been happy to take our $1500 to "diagnose" the leak.Adding a 4th strike. Our car recently started making a noise, and a few days later our battery died. Madison Honda said our the alternator needed replacing; It was under warranty and was repaired as such. They did not replace the serpentine belt nor did they mention it to us but they said we needed the timing belt replaced. When we got the car back it was still making the noise so we brought the car back. They then told us it's a noisy serpentine belt that needs to be replaced. If this belt, which goes around the alternator, was bad why weren't we told of the need for replacement while the alternator was just removed? So now we are supposed to pay for labor for them to remove what was just done to put a new serpentine belt on or have the timing belt replacement done.Our car was due for a timing belt. It wasn't overdue for this service, we are less than 100k miles on the car and are within the normal range for this service, so we planned on having it done anyway. As soon as we got the car back from Honda we had a mechanic friend listen to the noise over the phone and he immediately knew that is was the timing belt tensioner, not the serpentine belt or timing belt itself. And now a 5th strike. The tensioner is under warranty per HondaCare (we called), but Madison Honda was insisting on a $900+ job. We went to a different dealer, had the timing belt change service and had the tensioner replaced under warranty, cost $500. The serpentine belt which Madison Honda insisted was the problem didn't even need to be replaced. And strike 6? The new dealer made it a point to show us our battery will need replacement soon, that there seems to be some leakage of acid. Why didn't Madison Honda point this out to us when they replaced the alternator?Our neighbor went to Madison Honda because a power window stopped working. Madison Honda wanted $1000 for a repair. They decided to try a local garage instead and the mechanic fixed the window with a simple sensor, did an oil change, replaced a headlight, and rotated the tires- all for $300.We used to get a loaner car with any warranty repairs that we needed done, but no more. We had to pay $100 to join a "club" to get a loaner with any service, warranty or not. Sounded good but the problem is when you need service on your car, unless you can schedule it a week in advance there is a good chance no loaner is available... Not all service is scheduled and planned, so unless you can plan when your car may need to go in you won't get that loaner. I was in the service bay and I heard them giving the "details" to another customer. I calmly interrupted and let him know our experience, and that he may not always get a loaner when it's needed unless scheduled in advance. The attitude taken on by one of the service reps showed me they didn't like that one bit. Our new dealer gave us a loaner for the timing belt/warranty repair we had done no charge. Feeling ripped off by Madison on that one.This is all proof to me that Madison Honda is all about pulling in as much money as they possibly can from unsuspecting service customers. We'll never go back and will drive the extra 15 minutes to another dealer, where we had a completely different experience. If you choose to go to Madison, question everything they tell you and Google your problem first so you know what really needs to be done. Don't say I didn't warn you.

This is the first review I have ever written on-line. I usually don't bother and feel it's a waste of time, but this experience was so terrible that I felt compelled to let others know that spending your money at Honda of Madison is actually infuriating. I wish there was more I could do, but this review will have to do. I was there with my significant other, as he had purchased a used car a year and a half ago and was getting his regular tune-up (which we were paying for-despite the xxx across the street being cheaper). We noticed a while back that the paint was peeling on his car and figured we would just bring it up at his next tune-up. I did my research and saw that this is a common problem with Hondas, so I figured the dealership would acknowledge this problem and at least offer to pay for some of the defect. I know that the dealership doesn't HAVE to offer to cover this, but I figured as any good business person knows they would eat this small cost as the continuous use of their auto repair shop and potential sales in the future would easily make up for it. I could not have been more wrong. They were beyond rude refusing to cover the cost saying it was our problem now since we had had the car for about a year and a half. I thought it was telling that a year in a half is the expected life of a paint job. They also refused to acknowledge that this was an issue with Hondas, despite me showing them message board after message board about this issue. It is frustrating enough to be sold an inferior product, and then for the dealership to take zero accountability on top of that is inexcusable. I would implore you to go to any dealership but this one to buy a Honda. I haven't lost my faith in Honda, but if you are going to purchase one steer clear of this dealership. Businesses like this do not deserve a penny of your hard earned money. I have never felt so taken with a purchase.

Jacob Feldon is the best - if you need a new car please ask for him! In 2007 Jacob sold me my 2004 Accord. After a scary experience that the transmission went on the Accord I was not in the mind frame of having to buy a new car. I went and saw Jacob right away and he took care of everything. I told him exactly what I wanted and told him I had a budget. He took care of my spoiled car needs and also was easy on the budget. I had a great experience in 2007 and again last week. I am thrilled with my 2013 Honda CRV. Jacob should be recognized for his professionalism and understanding of my needs during a stressful time. Thank you Jacob and Madison Honda.

Even though we could have bought it from another dealeship Mark offered to see if they could locate what we wanted. I went into Madison Honda to trade in my Hyundai Elantra for a Honda Accord. I worked with Jacob in sales and Mike in Finance. They gave me a fair deal on my trade in (considering the fact that Hyundai 's hold no value.) Jacob was very knowledgeable and worked hard to get me the monthly payments I requested. The price of the car was negotiated well, and quite painlessly. Jacob laid out all of my options and made sure I understood exactly what was going on. I was swindled by a dealer before so I was very cautious with every signature and contract I signed. I wasn't pushed toward a lease, or any length of time for finance. When it came time to finalize my contract with Mike, the process was so easy, and stress free. No one pressured me into warrantees, clubs, or extra packages. My credit score has jumped exponentially from the last time I purchased a vehicle so my interest rate was just where I wanted it to be! I was in the market for a used car, and decided to splurge on a certified pre-owned Honda Fit. I was happy with the price we reached, although it did include a $900 cosmetic package that you can't decline. Jacob was friendly and helpful throughout the process. However, I took the car to be looked at by an outside mechanic, and they found a few minor issues with the car that should have been addressed by the 150 point certified pre-owned checklist. Madison Honda did not fully apologize for those issues. I have no complaints with the dealership besides this experience.

I went to Madison Honda today with the hopes of leasing my 3rd Honda Pilot from them. Unfortunately, Management decided to do a bait & switch on me which resulted in me leaving the dealership - never to return and never to recommend them to anyone again.All conversations were about a 2015 model. I test drove a 2015 and the salesperson, Sam, agreed we were talking about a 2015. The "Manager" came back and said the deal was for a 2014. This was after another manager - Theresa, had told me when I entered the dealership, that they had no 2014's left and that Ronny had worked the numbers up on a 2015. Madison Honda - proving once again that buying or leasing a car is an experience that leaves you feeling like you are being ripped off and in need of a shower. Don't let the location fool you - they are no better than the highway dealerships.

My wife and I bought a fully loaded Accord with the wonderful help of Diu Sabini. We have bought many cars over the years and Diu was by far the best car salesman we ever worked with. He was very knowledgable about the various features on the car. His explanation of the GPS/Navigation system was a very good start in understanding a very complicated system. We was willing for my wife to come back to the agency for lesson #2 which helped her very much. Madison Honda is very fortunate to have Diu in their Sales force. I just leased a CR-V from Madison Honda and my salesperson, Diu Sabani made the experience easy and pleasant. From the time I walked in the door Diu made me feel that I was listened to, he was responsive and informative, with no pressure. I was not railroaded into a car selling process. I had already visited another Honda dealer and left them feeling frustrated so I drove the extra miles to visit Madison Honda, from whom I bought a Civic 3 years ago. It was worth the drive. Dui provided me with more information that I expected regarding the CR-V; he even spent time with me setting up the phone controls and going through all the gadgetry on the car. We worked out the financing to my satisfaction. I left the dealership feeling happy, which is not what I expected. I love the car and couldn't be happier.I have to mention that Dui went over-the-top in his customer service for me. When I got the car home I discovered something cosmetic that needed to be fixed. Dui drove to my house to take a picture of the car in order to save me having to drive over to the dealership. A replacement part was ordered so that when I showed up a day later and the issue was fixed. Who provides this level of service? It is rare - and much appreciated. I am a satisfied customer who will continue to do business with Madison Honda.

I had an excellent experience with Diu Sabani and Madison Honda. I purchased a 2003 Honda Civic from them at the end of May and just concluded a 5000-miles cross country road trip, and it runs wonderfully. Diu actually drove down in the car to my house so we could go to an independent mechanic I chose to have him look at it - and when the mechanic saw that the driver's side seat belt buckle was sticking, Madison replaced it with a new one for free. Diu's a great guy and they gave me a fair price for a car that runs extremely well. What more can I say?

Car shopping in general can be frustrating, confusing and time consuming. Added pressure to get the darn car as quickly as possible just to keep the kid from nagging only adds to the frustration! Compound the situation with the desire to structure a one pay lease deal only makes the situation doubly confounding. One would think that if you paid for all the lease payments up front, the manufacturer would give you the best possible lease terms, and would be thrilled to get the money now rather than wait. Apparently car financing people don't look at things the way other, normal, finance structurers look at debt & risk. Madison Honda turned out to be a pretty good experience as they softened the car finance mystery and delivered on the deal terms I desired. It took a bit more time, but in the end everyone walked away happy I guess.

Went in to purchase 2014 Si. Prior to my visit, I had checked out two dealerships before visiting Madsion Honda. Diana A. and Madison offered me the lowest price. The Si I wanted with all my options was not in stock, so they special ordered my vehicle on May 10th, 2014. Told me up front to expect the car to be delivered in early July. Surprise, surprise I got a call on June 20th that my car was ready to go. This made me very happy as you would expect. When I went to pick my new car up, Diana A. took her time explaining all the options and particularities of the vehicle. It put me ahead of the curve in understanding the cars options. I would like to thank Diana immensely for her assistance and attentiveness. She made me feel great to buy a car from Madison Honda. I will buy again from Madison in the future.

Last October I had to quickly make a new car purchase, as my old car had a dead transmission that I was not willing to replace on a car with 250k miles. So, I had the car towed to Madison Honda the day it broke down, and went the next day to buy a new car. When you drive cars until they die, that's how you do it. :)Well, Madison Honda took me for a chump. They tried every low-level, slimeball trick in the book to pry their greedy little hands into my wallet. First, I had to tell the salesperson that was assigned to me (by the service department, mind you...) about 15 times that I was not interested in leasing a car. He pushed so hard on this fact, that his bonus for the year must have been tied to it and I was his last chance. I don't lease cars. I drive them until they die and are too expensive to fix. I finally got that through to him, and came in to test drive a certified pre-owned Honda Accord that I had found online. While taking the test drive, there was a certified pre-owned flag on the same car (remember that). When we went in to negotiate the price, Madison Honda's price was $2,000 OVER what every fair price for that car was listed for. It took me two hours to reach a FAIR price - not even a good deal. I signed a contract for the car, and thought it was all finally over. I should have left.Now it was time for financing. I had done my homework and stopped by my bank to get a pre-qualified 2% interest loan. At Honda, the salesperson came back and claimed a "great deal" with a low monthly payment that was $80 more than I told him I could afford (and what I had worked out prior on my own). I asked what was making the payments so high, and found out that he had added a whole bunch of extra crap that I never even asked for. Gap insurance. Honda Club membership - you name it he added it. Annoyed that I never even asked for the stuff, and that he was dishonorable and did not tell me he added it, I demanded that he take it out. He then fought me for another 20 minutes on it. It turns out, the Finance manager also had a hand in jacking up the monthly payment since he decided that I would enjoy paying double the interest rate I was qualified for. He quoted a 4.5% interest rate, despite my stellar credit. I told him I wasn't paying more than my bank's rate, since I could just walk down the street and get that loan. Magically, after a 20 minute discussion with three managers, they "did me a favor" got me the 2% I was qualified for. Another dishonorable person. I should have left.But, I stayed for some stupid reason. And now the day had just begun. As they were doing 'paperwork,' the salesperson came over and crossed out the certified stamp on the contract (that I just signed) and said, "sorry, we made a mistake, this car isn't certified," and then tried to play it off as if everything was OK. I freaked out. Not only did he make a change to the contract that I had signed, but we negotiated the price over a certified used car. He even Googled the price difference between a certified used car and a regular used car during the negotiations. I was ready to leave, and got up to leave, when the salesperson asked the all important question - "what can we do to make this better?" Well, I ended up getting a FAIR price (not a good price) for a regular used car, and paid $1,500 extra for a HondaCare warranty to make up for the fact that it was not a certified car. I do believe what is described above is the classic case of bait and switch. You advertise a car and pump it up, then jump to a less desirable car and try to keep the price high. In this case it was the same car, but incorrectly advertised and sold as a certified car. I should have left, and gotten a lawyer and called the state authorities.The reason that I was given for the car not being certified is that the dealership didn't want to pay for new tires - and that was the ONLY thing wrong with the car. Yeah, right. Well, within the first week I found out that the brakes and rotors (on a car with 28k miles, mind you) were also shot. I've owned the car for less than a week, and I was already looking at two major repair/maintenance bills. I wanted to buy a certified car so that I could go a year or so without a major repair. After storming into the dealership and making a scene, I got the brakes and rotors replaced for free. This is the only thing they did honorably. I thought all was finally done. Until... they lost my license plates. The plates were supposed to be transferred to the new car, but somehow went "missing." I don't take issues of identify theft lightly, so that was a trip to the police station to file a report of missing/stolen license plates. I thought I was finally done. Until... I had (and still have) MAJOR ENGINE TROUBLE. Thank god I got the HondaCare warranty, cause now the car has a major issue. When I start the engine from a cold start, you hear the engine grind for 5-10 seconds until oil reaches the VTC actuator part. This is, surprisingly, not a recall issue yet. I brought the car in to service and was told that they would need to replicate the issue. The problem is, this only happens on a cold start when the oil has left that part. I would need to leave the car overnight for them to hear the "rattle," and get a loaner car. But, the loaner car is only available as part of the Honda Club that the salesperson had attempted to sneak into the contract when I bought the car. Pissed, I call Honda of America (corporate) and asked what they could do. I found out that my Honda Care warranty covers rental cars. So, this is now the SECOND time Madison Honda tried getting me to join their Honda Club, and is now a duplication of insurance that I already have. UPDATE: I brought the car to Joyce Honda in Denville, NJ. They immediately said the VTC actuator was the reason for the noise, and offered a loaner car for free while the noise was formally diagnosed. It's refreshing to bring a car in for service and not have the service manager look at you like you're an idiot when you describe a very common known issue with this model. I bought this car in October of 2013, and now in July of 2014 I'm still pissed enough over the whole experience to write this. Next time I buy a car I'm bringing my lawyer and recording the entire experience for later review. It won't be at Madison Honda.

My family has been going to Madison Honda for almost 10 years. This purchase was the 6th Honda from them(3rd used). Even when we moved farther away, we continue to use them for servicing so it was natural to go to them to purchase a car. We worked with Mark Stocke. Very nice for a salesman, I felt he was engaged and interested in our business from start to finish to present. My only complaint was that I was told we could not purchase a car listed on their website that was located at another dealer(why show a car I cannot purchase from you? I do not want to purchase from a different dealer I do not know). Otherwise everything went well. Any mess we noticed while test driving the car(from other test drives) was cleaned before purchase. The Sales manager/Finance guy was ok, a bit pushy on the add-ons, but shopping for a car can't be too easy, right? Overall I feel it was a fair price, for a great car, from a trusted dealership, and sold by a nice employee.

I had made offers on two vehicles previously but both were sold before I could get to the dealership for a test drive. I began getting discouraged but kept checking the dealer's web site for a suitable value. I found two low mileage certified vehicles and made an offer on one, a Fit, which the used car manager felt was too low. I then test drove an Accord and knew this 'fit' was a good one. Paul Fuchs handled the negotiation, an 'accord' was reached, and I left with the Certified 2009 Accord later that afternoon. Madison Honda handled all the paperwork including contacting my insurance company to get a binder on the vehicle. The financing rate was spot on for someone with my credit rating (high).Paul was eager to broker the deal, but not pushy, and he made the sale happen. That said, I would not have returned to Madison Honda had it not been for the Internet Sales Manager, Gary Basile, who handled my every request promptly and courteously. I am a demanding customer and Madison Honda, after some false starts, delivered the goods.

Okay. First off, I hate car dealers. Almost all of them. I try to avoid dealing with them as much as possible. I do my negotiating on the phone and when I have a deal in place, I go to the dealership to close the deal. This time though it was different. I went to Madison Honda to meet the last salesman I did business with but learned that it was his last day. I ended up working with Mark. Well, thank God I found him. Pretty honest person. Not trying any salesman gimmicks. His personality is smooth and he tries to answer all questions nicely and honestly. Try him. You will thank me. PS: I don't like the Sales Managers at Madison Honda. But it is people like Mark that makes me go back there.

This review is in regard to my used 2012 Honda Civic purchase with Madison Honda. I did my shopping on-line using the AAA car buying application and looked at dealers within a 25 mile radius who had 2012 or 2013 Civics available. Of the dealers with cars, I found that Madison Honda had three cars of interest and initiated an inquiry through the car buying site. It was not more than a few minutes later that Madison Honda called to discuss my interest and set up a visit to see the cars. Long story short, I went home with a car later that day.Reasons for my ratings: The dealer responded quickly to my initial inquiry. I felt welcomed by the staff, there was no pressure, the salesman and business manager were very helpful and professional. An issue with a fabric rip was taken care of quickly by the service folks. All in all a very pleasant buying experience.

After doing quite a bit of research, my father and I had our eyes set on a used Honda Certified 2011 Accord Crosstour that we spotted on Madison Honda's website. The car had all the features we were looking for and very low mileage for a used vehicle. Before even getting there to check the car out, Jacob gave me a call earlier in the day to confirm that the one we were interested was still available, which was much appreciated. Once there, Jacob took us out for a test drive and gave us an overview of all the features of the car. Once we decided this was the car we wanted and were happy with, we sat down to discuss the price. While there was an extra cost that we hadn't planned for because of a previously installed package, Jacob negotiated with us down to a price we felt comfortable with. We returned a few days later to pick up and inspect the car. The weather was not kind that day, but Jacob made sure we were able to inspect the car closely and comfortably by pulling the car into the service garage area and letting us look over all the details there. Not long after, we met with the finance manager, signed some papers, and were on our way. The next day, Jacob gave me a follow up call to see if I had any questions about the car and if I was enjoying my new ride, which I certainly was!Overall, our experience at Madison Honda was truly a positive one. This was the 3rd car I bought at this dealership over the last 10 years. The sales consultant we worked with went out of his way to be helpful. Ditto for the manager who helped to simplify what we needed to do in order to turn in a leased car from Audi (as opposed to Audi who seemed not particularly interested in making this an easy experience). I would also want to mention that I also own a 2005 Honda Accord Hybrid that I bought and have since serviced at Madison Honda. It has over 175,000 miles, and runs almost as well as the day I bought it. I find this very remarkable, and attribute to the fine engineering at Honda, and also to the excellent maintenance/repair service at this dealer.

Went to Madison Honda with for a CRV. Had done our research and knew what we wanted. Rich Giordano took us for a test drive, explained the features and answered all our questions. Back at the dealership, Rich found the CRV-EXL all wheel drive with navagation , white with beige interior we wanted. Gave us a good price, added in the options, and we were ready to go. The CRV had to be brought in and options added, Rich told us come back at 5 PM . All was ready and again he spent time with us going over all the options, helping us set up blue tooth, radio stations, and a good once over of features. Haven't bought a new car recently and Rich and Madison Honda made it easy. Driving the CRV now for 5 days and love it.

I received a letter in the mail offering me the opportunity to trade in my 2009 Honda for a new car at Madison Honda. I had always had my car serviced at Madison Honda and always return due to its friendly and professional atmosphere. I was served by Richard Giordano, who determined a trade-in value and price for the new car of my choice in minutes. There were no surprises, no hidden fees, no fast talk; only a professional understanding of my desire to purchase a specific vehicle. Rich assured me that my car would be available the next day, and I put a deposit on it before leaving.Rich followed through, and even saw to it that my specific requests for preparing the car were honored. I arrived and Rich was ready to be my passenger for the test drive around the Madison neighborhoods. During our drive, he explained many of the new Civic's features to me - which was quite helpful. We returned to the dealership, processed paperwork, Rich gave me a private tutorial on how to work the features before I drove home in my new car this afternoon. If you have done your homework well, you may be able to get your price here. I and my wife spent more than 3 hours there to have a new lease for 2014 Honda Odyssey EXL and to buy a new 2014 Pilot EXL. We did get what we were hoping for and get the cars at the same day. However, I did find out the Odyssey was from the other dealer, VIP due to they did not clean out the mark well. The salesperson was Mr. Paul Fuchs and he did work hard for us it get the deal done. He may even stayed late and came back to dealer again for us.

After our old Nissan was wrecked in an accident this winter, we decided to go with Honda for a new (used) car. We didn't expect to find something we wanted the first time we went, but we found a 2011 grey Honda Civic that test drove very well. Mr. Fuchs, who handled the sale, was very helpful in getting through the process. It was a bit more than we hoped to spend coming in, but so far has handled very well (and has saved us the trouble of shopping around more and paying for a monthly Enterprise rental). The only real issue was a minor repair quirk: the car had a minor tire gauge issue due to the weather, but Mr. Fuchs spoke with us and the dealer gave us a rental while the sensors were reset. It's been fine since then. Since the tire quirk was an after sale issue, it didn't detract from the overall positive experience we had at the Madison office with Mr Fuchs.

Yesterday I went into Madison Honda to get an oil change for my 2011 CR-V EX-L. I wanted to inquire about the process for turning in my car and leasing a new CR-V come September and get a sense of the cost. I was introduced to Paul and I liked him immediately! He was very professional and was able to answer all of my questions. Without being pushy he kindly asked how interested I would be in turning in my CR-V that afternoon and driving away in a brand new 2014 CR-V EX-L. I laughed and with a huge grin on my face I said, "lets run the numbers". He was able to match my current payments and within the hour we had everything squared away despite the fact that I didn't have all the necessary info on me. We had a 2013 Honda Accord EX 6 Cy. we went looking for a new one. I got three prices from true Car. Initially Madison was the highest. After my initial telephone conversation they dropped some before I got to the showroom. The were almost matching the second price quote. They told me that the price I was quoted from Auto sport Honda would not be fulfilled. They were correct in the end. I said I owed it to myself and needed to try. I visited Autosport and had a terrible experience. We came back to Madison. We have had our older car serviced by them only. I wanted a lower price and to at least match Autosports quote. At the end they worked with me. We agreed at a price and got the car. They are ALL pleasant people to work with. Mo is very nice and easy to work with. I found Madison Honda to be honest and upfront.

I had such a great experience working with Brian in sales and Maureen in finance. From the test drive through driving away in my new car, I was completely satisfied and felt great about my new purchase. My wife and I stopped in on a Monday to test drive the new Honda Accord. Jacob greeted us within a few minutes of arriving at the dealership and took us out for a test drive of both the the 4 cylinder and six cylinder models giving a good overview of the features on both cars. My wife preferred the 6 cylinder EXL and wanted the car in obsidian blue. They did not have a car in that color on the lot but Jacob said it would not be a problem to locate one in that color. He called the next day saying he had located an EXL V6 in the color she wanted. He negotiated a fair price with me and that Friday I placed a down payment on the car. The next day the car was at the dealership and my wife and I set up an appointment with Jacob to inspect and test drive the car. She was extremely happy with the car and after dropping her off, Jacob took our check, got me in with the finance manager to complete the paperwork associated with the sale and within an hour I was out of the dealership.Out of all the cars we have purchased over the years, this was by far the easiest transaction to date. Any time we were at the dealership we never really had to wait long to accomplish what we were there to do. Jacob was friendly and professional. The finance manager was good at explaining the paperwork and additional service and warranty service options available for purchase and she did not try to oversell me on anything I was not interested in. It helped that we had done our homework and knew the car we wanted to buy and the average purchase price paid. While we can't speak for every staff member at the dealership, we can recommend Madison Honda based on our experience with Jacob and the finance manager we dealt with.

Called Madison Honda and spoke to the Internet Sales Manager Teresa. Asked if they could do a certain price on an Odyssey + TTL. After she spends 5-10 minutes talking w/ a manager of some sort, she comes back on the phone and says they can do that price. Now after I take the time to drive there and wait to speak with someone, suddenly that price is impossible. Initially they wanted $800 more, finally their best offer was approximately $500 more than the price promised on the phone.I bought the vehicle elsewhere that same day for about $50 more than this 'impossible price'.What they tell you on the phone is meaningless. They simply want to get you in the door, completely disregarding the value of your time.

I am very pleased with my experience at Madison Honda, my salesperson was Kamal Bawa who approached me within the first three minute of my walking onto the dealership lot. Within the first 30 minutes Kamal and I were test driving a car and two days later I was driving off the lot with my new but used car! Kamal was excellent in his approach and detailing the process which was smooth and painless. When I came to pick up my car; Maureen finalized my paperwork and she continued the service standard and I was out the door within one hour. I also loved the Honda gift bag filled with goodies, the free snacks and hot drink, in conclusion the best part of the deal was my new car, I'm telling everyone who asks me about changing cars that "my Caddy wouldn't start, so I'm hugging my Honda" (lol).

My sales Consultant, Mark at Madison Honda was very helpful, patient and accomodatable. He found me the perfect match what I was 'really' looking for (which I was unable to find on the web) from its new inventory before having been listed on the web. He let me and my wife go for 3 test drives 2 local and 1 highway (picking up my wife on the way) on a busy Saturday. Despite having to leave for almost 4 hours in the afternoon. when I returned to Madison Honda Mark got everything ready and I drove my new car home on the same day. On my way home I noticed that Mark set up classical music channel from XM satelite radio for me and my daughter - he remembered we enjoyed listening to WQXR FM (NPR classical music channel) from the second test drive. Theresa and Lauren, internet sales and Maureen, business manager were also friendly and helpful. Maureen kindly setting up teleconference with my wife to complete paperwork. This is my 2nd purchase from Madison Honda and 3rd Hondas to be taken care of at their 'appointmentless' service dept, for regular check up/maintenance. I visited Madison Honda to find a reliable and affordable compact used car. Paul Fuchs was our salesman, and as we had called ahead he had already selected certain vehicles for me to consider. His choice of vehicles was very appropriate for me and in my price range. We test-drove a couple of cars and Paul was very attentive, demonstrating to me every detail and feature of each car. He made sure to highlight all the attractive features as well as bring up points that differentiate the vehicles from one another. He did not push me or use any tricks to sway my decision or pressure me to spend more money than I wanted to. He is very polite and will make you feel comfortable, as he has a great sense of humor and will repeatedly offer you coffee, tea, or anything to make you more comfortable. When it came time to pay for the vehicle, I dealt with business manager Maureen Walters, who is very skilled at her job and was able to fit 40 minutes of work into 10 minutes (I was in a rush).Overall, I am extremely pleased with Madison Honda and its employees. I am very satisfied with the deal I got on the car and I am enjoying driving it around.

He went into the back room, came out a minute or two later and matched exactly what I wanted to pay. I was extremely happy about this. The rest of the process was a breeze. Picked up the car two days later and took it home. I would definitely recommend this dealership. Richard was a pleasure to work with. I never felt pressured or uncomfortable during the process. Any questions I had he was able to quickly answer and helped me along the process of buying a car. Would definitely recommend him and the dealership.

Adrian Secreto was great. Terrific customer service. Since we didn't have a car, he came and showed us the car at our house, and later picked us up again.My only gripe is that I had been very clear that we were negotiating on the all-in price (before gov't taxes) and then when it came time to sign, there was a charge of a few hundred dollars in documentation fees. I complained and while the manager wasn't too helpful, Adrian made some effort to keep us happy. So I'll chalk this off as a misunderstanding.We're happy with the vehicle and very happy with Adrian's service.

I visited 5 Honda Dealerships in my pursuit to trade in my 2004 Pilot and 2012 Accord for a new CRV SUV. Adrian's keen ability to listen to my concerns and needs as well as his professional sales acumen impressed me from my first visit. So many salespeople are self-focused, arrogant, and pushy. Adrian was quite the opposite. I found him approachable, helpful and on task. My hope throughout the process was that Madison Honda would be able to provide me with the fairest pricing since they had serviced my other vehicles for many years and I felt some familiarity there. The car buying process was frustrating as each dealer's new car price varied greatly and each one's price for my existing cars varied greatly. It made the process tedious and time consuming. From the minute I met Adrian, he (unlike any other sales rep at any other dealership), worked to make the sale simple. He geniunely wanted to met and/or beat other offers. Once the sale was finalized he was hard working to accommodate my busy schedule, my father's deteriorating health condition and the Christmas hecticness so that he could get the proper paperwork completed, teach me how to drive and understand the car, etc. without wasting unnecessary time. His supervisor, Steve, was equally helpful. I felt Adrian was rare in all these exemplary ways. I think you should consider him an asset to your dealership. It has been easy to rave to others about his qualities and excellent help in my car buying process.

The salesperson was very professional and friendly during my visit. I printed out an estimated fair price value for a Honda Odyssey 2014 according to the online pricing in advance. This did make it much easier to start the negotiation of sale price. I didn't feel to get those hard push for purchasing of high-end and more expensive models like when I encounter in a lot of other stores these days. Overall I have a very good experience during my visit. I thought they were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. The prices are fair, and the service department is excellent.I have made 5 purchases from Madison since 2008, and each has been a positive experience. My sales representative was Paul Fuchs, who was outstanding. He spent time making sure I got the exact car I wanted, with a price quote that was realistic and fair. I would strongly recommend taking the time to call him. I also had the opportunity to speak with David Lee, General Manager, who spent time going over the transaction in order to ensure that I was totally satisfied.Recognition must also go to Madison Honda for their service department, headed by Brian Parente, Service Manager, and Sean Murray, my favorite Service Advisor. Since first doing business with them in 2008, I have never thought of taking any of our 3 currently owned Hondas anywhere else for any type of service or care. We were looking for an used Odissey, preferably a certified one, and we found it. They did their best in order we could get the car we want according our needs as expatriate family. Unlike other dealers, here we could make 3 driving test before to talk about prices and credit things and that's what we wanted. When you want to buy a car, you want to see the cars and drive the cars... you don't want they ask you "how will you pay they car?" before you can see the cars. My prior lease was coming up right as my wife and I were moving during November. We were lucky enough to have won a raffle where the grand prize was a 2014 Honda Accord. We couldnt be happier! We own two Hondas already, and were so pleased to have won another car that out-performs & out-lasts all other cars that we have owned. We get to the dealer, and we are met by the manager, David Lee. He is welcoming and friendly. He introduces us to the sales associate, Adrien Scareto who, again, offered up superior customer service. He was kind and patient and took the time to answer all of our questions about our new car. We were pleased when Adrien took more time to go through all the new features on our new car as well. It was a little overwhelming at first, but he took the time and set up our new car with the settings to our liking. Everyone we came in contact with at the dealership supplied superior customer service. We also met with a man named Mike who tied up all the loose ends, and completed all the necessary paperwork to secure our new car. This was our second time making a purchase with this dealer, the first time was in 2005 and than again in December of 2013. We started our shopping thinking we would purchase a new car, but ended up choosing a certified pre-owned 2011 Accord. We made 3 trips to the dealership over the course of a week to look at Honda's and the first two time's we went, we worked with Rich looking and test driving cars. It is a big decision and of course we wanted to make the right choice. I can only imagine how frustrating it was for them between my wife, my 2 1/2 year old and my-self. My wife and I finally agreed to take the plunge, but before we pulled the trigger on this purchase she wanted me to also consider a certified car. We found one on their website that looked like a good fit. Low mileage, certified and had the sunroof and Bluetooth that I was looking for. I arrived promptly for my 9am appointment for the 3rd visit to the dealership and learned that Rich whom I'd been working with had called out. He was so helpful during our first two visits, probably spent like 4 or 5 hours working with. I gave him a ring and he promptly set me up with another sales person, Mark. I let him know which vehicle from the pre-owned lot I was interested in. He pulled the vehicle up, and than proceeded to go through the, will this work with my phone and so on. We spent a good long time doing the head to tow on the used car. Once we were out on the road, and normally the dealers don't want you to stray too far, but it was used so I wanted to get it on the highway, feel everything. No problem there and than he took me into a hilly area. Great experience during the test drive, gave the car another once over and once I decided to pull the trigger on the car it was smooth sailing from there. I had done my research so I knew price wise where we should hopefully land. The negotiation was, easy and straight forward, took 10 minutes to hammer out the details of the car price and trade value and I got a bunch of extras that I was not expecting. All said and done I was home by noon for lunch with my family, with our new car.It was a great experience and I would highly recommend them to anyone that asks.

Jacob was a pleasure to work with throughout the process and was extremely accommodating with the trade-in and getting me my first choice of color. It has been 10-yrs since my last car purchase and this is my very first Honda. Alot has changed in the purchase process and Jacob made me very comfortable with all of it. In fact, everything went so smoothly I was able to take possession of the new car the same day I first walked in to negotiate price. Jacob went over all the features of the car before I left the dealership and told me to call him directly if I had any questions. Jacob even called me an hour or so after leaving to see if I enjoyed the drive home. He told me once agin if he can do anything for me to call him.

Mark is friendly and courteous and works hard to get you the deal that you want. He works with you and your budget to the best of his ability. We actually had a deal worked out and then I was sitting face to face with a manager who was not a nice person and probably could use some lessons in customer service. He tried to tell me that i would need to pay much more money and i got up to leave. You do not treat returning customers that way, especially customers who have returned over and over again. Mark did manage to get the deal I needed and I was very appreciative.

One representative in particular, Brian Teixeira, was extremely helpful and personable throughout my visit. Brian helped me set up and complete a test drive, along with supplying me with much information about not only the car I was interested in, but the Honda brand as a whole. Mark Stocke was very knowledgeable about the used cars on offer at the dealership. We traded in one Honda Pilot for a newer used version and bought a Honda CRV for our daughter. He understood the requirements for each of the cars and steered us to the best cars for our separate needs on the lot. Our family went to Madison Honda to purchase a new Honda Civic with our daughter. We had a wonderful experience with the purchase.Our salesman, Adrian was very attentive and not pushy or overwhelming. He did an excellent job explaining everything. Purchasing the car was such a pleasant experience we ended up purchasing a second Civic the next week, Adrian did a great job reviewing the cars at pickup too. Our only issue was when we went in to sign the paperwork with finance. We found this part of this part of the experience to not be as pleasant. We had to wait both times and the representatives were pushy in trying to sell extras and increase our monthly lease payment. We will return to Madison Honda in the near future to purchase a third vehicle from Adrian and hopefully the finance portion will be easier.,

My husband, my son and I visited Madison Honda on 10/21/13 to buy a car for my son and a Honda Pilot for US. The Financing manager lied to us telling us our credit was not good enough for the best deal so we had to pay more. We felt despair and frustrated, but I thought we had no way out so we signed 2 leases that night, my son took his car (Honda Accord) but we didnt take the Honda Pilot. However, we were a little troubled and unsatisfied because we had checked our credit scores before and it was much higher than Madison Honda claimed, so we decided to do some digging. My husband went to another dealer in a different area and was told the opposite. He was treated like a first class citizen, were told that his credit was excellent and got a deal much cheaper than Madison Honda gave him. They even gave him a 1. something % and offer me so much other extras to buy the vehicle, and it came out cheaper than Madison Honda offered with a lease. My husband called Madison Honda the next day to rescind the contract but they were very unpleasant and refused to work it out with him. Not only did they lie to us but also they made us feel like we were second or third class citizens. I am very disappointed after buying one car already from them; they way they treated us, made me feel discriminated against. They treated us like second-class citizens. I even called the manager who was no help. I am would like to know if anyone else had this experience. I am going to put this on social mediums to see if anyone else had this experience. I need another car next year, I am definitely not going to Madison Honda, and we will sure tell our friends and family.

Spoke to Lauren who was very helpful and I told her what I wanted and she was the only person after going to other dealers who told us the truth. We went in the next day because she told us that he car I was looking for was out there. We had Mark Stocke as our salesman and he was a pleasure to work with. We told him what we wanted and he requested a deposit in order to see if the car was available. I did not want to leave a deposit because I knew the car was out there. I told I was going to buy the car right then ad Theresa long as I got a good price on my honda accord trade in. He went into his computer and found the car within five minutes. Not my first choice of color but I did not have a problem with that. Got the deal I wanted and siged my title over to him and he has my 2013 Black Fit Sport with Navagation he next day. I love my new car but most of all I love te fact that I did not have any problems dealing with Mark. When I saw the Jeep online on AutoTrader, I knew I wanted to see it. Madison is a bit out of the way for me, but I wasn't seeing anything much closer or advertised at a cheaper price. When I got there, Adrian was the first person I spoke to. He took me on a test drive and helped me through the whole process of my trade in and buying the car. We had a glitch at the end as we were not given keys to the car and did not discover until home. Only given the valet key. Salesman after insisting we did have the keys finally went and found them. But besides that it was a good experience and the missing keys was just an honest mistake as dealership was really busy that day.

This is my second car purchase at this dealership. They offer aggressive prices and the sales staff is professional and courteous. They quickly zeroed in on the right vehicle. There was less back and forth than I have had with most dealers and they eventually met my price. They were able to go get the car and prep it in about 2 hours. I drove it home that day (it was the 31st of the month).
