Highly recommend making an appointment for any service your Lexus needs. I used the online website, and was able to pick the date and time that fit my schedule best. On arrival at the service center, i waited 15 minutes for an attendant to check my car in. Then, I was seen by the first available specialist within 5 to 10 minutes. They kept me informed of the expected maintenance, and even called me hours later for a summarized assessment. I picked up my car within a 15 minute wait during their peak busy hours, and was back on the road again. Thank you so much for your attention and organization.

Called Longo Lexus service department for service of my navigation system of my RX 350. The girl that answered the line denied a loaner for the day since the service would take no more than 2 hours, I then asked to speak to someone else or a manager to see if there could be an exclusion.Instead of transferring me to a manager, she basically whispered "oh my god", then hung up the phone. Needless to say, I was astounded by such customer service. Unfortunately I had to fix my navigation system so had to bring my RX 350 into Longo.When I told Frank Lorusso, he brought in his manager,Clem, who redeemed Longo Lexus service department by not only promising to look into the matter but also by fixing my car within 30 minutes. He further offered me to pick up my car by flatbed for future services.After leasing with Lexus for the past 3 years I was ready to give up on them after being treated with such disrespect by the initial phone call, but luckily Clem saved Longo 's service department and earned them a 4 star rating.

I've bought 2011 MINI with them 2015 December with Longo Lexus, when the sell CarFax said 1 accident they marketed well and we closed the deal for $9,000. In 20 days i felt MINI is really will trade with LONGO Toyota, I got shocked the trade-in value us $5,000 and their report says 2 accident. I've not done anything, I driven only 400 miles in that 20 days. I accept mistake is mine i would have choose better car, I am explaining them just 20days back i bought here but they are not ready to listen and they are not interested to take it, I just walked off. Elmore Toyota have given the best service than LONGO.

It was several days before Christmas and life had not been kind to me, and then my car decided to kick me in the pants also. I took my vehicle over to be serviced at Longo Lexus and things turned worse. I took the car in for 3 reasons, my VSC light had come on, my brakes were doing a chattering and my door locks were not responding to open or lock on my key. When I went back to pick my car up, the brakes had been done but nothing else had been taken care of. As a matter of fact my car wouldn't even start! I drove off of that lot feeling like I had been badly taken advantage of and was thoroughly disgusted with the dealership I had trusted the most, but wait this is mot the end of my story. Along came my knight in shinning armour by the name of Jose Uribe. He sent a young man over to leave with with a loaner and took my car back to the dealership to be worked on. Jose stepped up and beyond and took care of getting my "Annie" back on the road again. Honestly, I couldn't have been treated better, thus this is why I am giving Longo Lexus the five stars, but I am giving Jose ten stars for being the first class man he is. Longo Lexus I want to tell you that you have a jewel of an employee in Jose. I have already thanked you Jose but words can't express my gratitude to you. You have restored my soul in humanity! One star given only because the system does not allow zero or negative scoring.Paint blemish on new car. Took it in 5 times for them to fix it even after circling the flaw in the paint for their body shop. The car spent many weeks in the shop while they.... I guess stored the car for me since they obviously did nothing to fix the problem. During one visit, they spilled adhesive on the headlight. So not only did they not fix the problem, they created a new one that it had to go back in for.Second issue was a check engine light. My code reader revealed an evap system problem. No issue, this is usually a loose gas cap. Tightened the cap and reset the codes to have the code reappear a week later. Same exercise, same result. On the third light, I took it back to Longo (yeah, I should have known better). I told three people at the dealership about resetting the code and that it was not likely a gas cap. Later that day, the service agent calls me and tells me the car is done. The cause of the light??? you guessed it, they claimed a loose gas cap. So after explaining this... again... to a manager, they asked to keep the car longer. The next day, they showed me a photo of an evap tube that was damaged. The area is in plain site under the car. HOW COULD THEY POSSIBLY MISS THIS? PARTICULARLY AFTER I TOLD THEM AND THEY AGREED THAT IT WAS NOT LIKELY A GAS CAP. If you have any work that needs to be done, take it elsewhere. Anywhere else.

Took my Lexus GZ470 for rubber seal around the windshield to the tune of $400. They wrote on my windhsiel with chalk and couldn't even clean the xxxx windshield let alone wash the car like they used to do. Longo is going down hill fast. Don't buy if you expect to use service department; they don't even care if cutomer is upset

Bring my car to have oil n filter change and also need them to check and reset the maint light. They did note in the paperwork.After service, I found out my car maint light was still on. I did ask them and they said they don't know why the light is still on and other light too, even they check tire pressure. If I would like to reset or check the maint light again I have to pay $55 more or bring to the service next time??? Never bring my car back. Bad service! Pay $120 for the bad service. My car still has the same problem and look dirty even they wash it.

This is our second car from Longo. Even more impressed this time around. Rony Parada was excellent to work with. I have never worked with a sales dude that knows so much about his product. He was really great to work with and worked to get us a great deal. The atmosphere at Longo was also another great aspect of the deal. It is much easier to work with a staff that is treated like they are actually an important part of the process and Longo does that. I definitely felt that passed along by Rony and the other staff we interacted with. If you're in the market for a new car, you MUST stop by Longo.

I purchased a 2015 Lexus IS F-Sport from Longo Lexus with the help of Jeff, the internet sales manager. He got the exact color combo that I wanted instead of pushing me onto other colors. On the POSITIVE side, I will definitely recommend Longo Lexus and my sales person to George Kantanto to all of my friends and relatives who are interested in buying a Lexus. In a scale of 1-10, George Kantanto is easily a 10. From the time we spoke on the phone, I was treated by him as if I was his only customer - he worked hard to earn my business. I still had 8 months left on my current lease and he "worked" the numbers so that it would make economic sense for me to get out of my current lease. He made it happen and George was extremely patient with me. On the NEGATIVE side,I already have 2 problems with the car: one remote is not working properly and the glove compartment, even when unlocked, does not open. I went to Glendale Lexus, which is close to my house and was told it could take even a day or longer to diagnose why the remote is not working and at least 2 hours to fix the glove compartment. I told them I will just come back next week. I'm just disappointed that I'm going to be inconvenienced since I too have a busy schedule. FYI, this was my 3rd purchase from Longo, and the RX 350 that I bought from Longo in June 2012, I had to return it to Lexus after driving it for 9 months since the "noise" could not be fixed after several attempts to fix the problem.

Worst experience of my life. Purchased a used Lexus Gx470 and had nothing but problems. The Lexus was under warranty and had multiple problems that they refused to fix. Car was in their possession for a month and nothing was fixed. After a month of no progress and numerous threats they bought back the car and we're supposed to pay off the loan. Today, 5/12/15 has been more than 40 days and my loan has still not been paid off. I have collections calling me and my credit ruined due to their incompetence. I have called many times to try to resolve this issue with no success.Buyer beware!!

I had a 4:30 PM appointment for an oil change. I arrived at 4:24 and was greeted professionally and told to go inside, take a seat, and wait to be called. That's exactly what I did. At 5:34 PM, John Chang told me he was sorry for the wait. I assumed that my car was finished so I said things happen. That's when he told me that the car hadn't even been brought in for service yet. He was professional and apologized and said he'd do what he could to expedite the service. He called me back in one hour later to again apologize and he told me the service had been completed. When I went ot pay, he said he was sorry for the extended wait and had asked his manager to comp the service, which is what the manager did. I thanked him and went out to get my car. That also took about 10 minutes...thus, the 2 1/4 hour oil change.

I had heard horror stories about Longo's service amongs my friends before but considered them as rumors until now. I went in for a oil change and felt right the way being pushed for the more expensive 70K service basically the same thing except just more inspections. Came back later and was told I need a $500 axle boot replacement due to crack and leak. I declined and later took the car to a local auto shop and found out both axle boots were fine and not a sign of leak or crack. The machanic even shown me both axles boots to ease my doubts and concerns. Longo definitely lost me as a customer on both sales and service. Just hope other people do not fell victim to the same unethical tactic they shamefully employed. Consider yourself warned.

Since I live in az I was getting everything ready to buy the car the only think that we needed was him to send the info on the car and the blue book so the bank person could give me the check . He didnt do anything plus hang up on me because he said he was with some customers . Even I said could you tell your manager or a coworker to send it and he said not . I couldn't be any happier with my experience over at Longo Lexus. I had the pleasure of working with Ed Perez and Kevin Holley, two of the nicest guys over there. These amazing guys helped me through the entire process and made the experience of this purchase stress free and really easy. One thing I really appreciated the MOST, is that they didn't try and push me into something I did not want. This is by far, hands down, the most painless car buying experience I have ever had. Its people like Kevin and Ed that give a dealership like Longo a good name. These guys and this dealership are truly the BEST! This is how car buying should always be. We just purchased our second Lexus from Longo in El Monte. On both occasions, we worked with George Kantanto who is one of the internet managers. Our first purchase was in 2008 when we bought a new 2009 RX 350 for my wife. Prior to contacting George at Longo, I priced the car with Cars Direct, AAA and Costco. George was able to beat their best price by several hundred dollars on top of giving us great service by answering all our questions in a timely manner and treating us with respect as customers. There were no sales games or gimmicks played by him or the dealership. George also took his time explaining all the features and helped us set up the Bluetooth and Navigation system even though we had to complete the purchase on a weeknight after work and we were there well past 9PM and almost everyone else had already left for the night. This past weekend we purchased a new 2014 GS350 for my use. This time I used Truecar as a pricing guide and I received two very tempting offers from other area dealerships, but I knew that we would eventually end up dealing with George based on our past experience. Once again when I contacted George, he beat the other offers by $1300 without any hesitation, plus Longo had several Liquid Platinum/black GS's in our price range in stock. While speaking with George he told me that the Lexus Financial loan rate was 3.5% for 5 years and he did not know when the next offer of 1.9% was going to be. When I told him that my credit union was offering 2.45% and that my wife mat qualify for a 1.9 % rate from her credit union if she opened a direct deposit checking account . George asked that I wait so he could speak to someone in finance. A day later, I received a call from Elise in finance telling me that Lexus Financial offered us 1.95%. We took that offer since it saved us the hassle of opening another checking account. It was another great buying experience from Longo Lexus and specifically George Kantanto whom I highly recommend if you're in the market for a new Lexus vehicle.

He then introduced me to one of his top salesmen, Robert Langley. My entire family is in awe about it, with its white exterior and red/black interior.Another plus for Longo Lexus is Celia who works at the Appointment Desk. She is VERY pleasant and efficient.Additionally, Longo offers free maintenance service for the 1,000 and 5,000 mile marks. After that, they will visit our home (mobile service) for minor services such as oil changes and tire rotation. Every 15,000 miles they offer service via flatbed truck, equipped to do required maintenance. Both the mobile and flatbed service are done by appointment through Longo. Many car dealerships advertise great customer service; yet, very few actually deliver. This is definitely not the case at Longo Lexus in El Monte. Chris McCarty and his sales team made our car purchase an extremely pleasant experience. During Dodger season 2013, to the amusement of my husband, son and daughter- inlaw; there was a black Lexus IS250 Sport car on display. It was getting close to game time- but I insisted on checking it out; of course that meant, climbing in, closing the door, playing with the center console gadgets, turning up the music and dreaming it was mine I rolled down the window and told my family this would be my next car they all snickered and we went to find our stadium seats, not nearly as comfortable as the bucket seat in the dream car. Fast forward several months and it was time to shop for a new car. After window shopping and test-driving everything under the sun; I just couldnt commit; nothing felt quite right and nothing compared to the IS250 at Dodger Stadium. On a Sunday afternoon my husband and I decided we would take a look at my dream car- It is said some dreams do come true. In 2013 the Dodgers won the National League West Division Title and I won (ok purchased) the Lexus IS205. With the help of Chris McCarty and Francisco Margay purchasing my first Lexus was a fabulous experience. Francisco knew his product well; he answered our questions clearly and made us feel as if we were the only people that mattered on that Sunday afternoon in November. Francisco spent a significant amount of time making sure both my husband and I knew and understood the cars features inside and out and the importance to the Longo Lexus commitment to service. We are so happy that we had the opportunity to have Sabino Cuevas as our salesperson. He has honestly been fantastic! I meant to write this review on 6/13 when we purchased my vehicle but an unfortunate event happened to a friend's baby. So I'm finding the time now to write a review to make sure that Sabino is recognized! We are a young couple, heavily tattooed with 2 young children and never once did he judge us-most would've looked at us and turned the other way because of our appearance (which is expected). He was so helpful over the phone & even more amazing in person. He made sure everything went as smoothly as possible, got us in the car that I wanted (this was part of my Mother's Day present) AND he was GREAT with the kids. I will definitely pass his business card to family & friends! If I could give him 10 stars I would. I absolutely LOVE my car and I want to thank him for providing such excellent customer service right from the start (which is rare these days)! He is definitely a great asset to the Penske company. I had high expectations of Longo and Mr. Babayova since we have purchased several vehicles from Longo Lexus. Edison exceded these expectations. I was not immediately greeted but someone did eventually talk to me. I had to haggle for a good hour before they would give me a decent price. My salesperson knew I was not rich and I felt like he really did his best to make my payments as low as possible.Looking back on it, I did not get a great deal but I don't feel like I got ripped off that badly. In the end, the car buying process took away 5 hours of my life but I drove away with my dream car. I love my new IS250!!! It is everything I always dreamed it would be.There were a few things that soured the experience. The finance guy talked me into buying the extended warranty which added a whopping $2000 to the price of the car. *sigh* At least if I get an electrical problem within the next 5 years, it will be covered and I hope Lexus is honest about their warranties. They also ran this routine where they told me my trade-in car was only worth X amount but they knew a friend who may be interested in taking it off my hands for more. I felt they were insulting my intelligence. Just be honest with me! Tell me that my car isn't worth anything to you and we will just leave it at that. In the end, I ended up giving them my old car for well below the kelley bluebook trade-in value. I just wanted to get out of there and stop having to listen to them BS me.

I've been patronizing Longo Lexus since 2003 after visiting other dealerships and service centers and found that Longo Lexus has the best prices as well as being close to my home. However, the best prices quickly fades if the service and quality of service is poor or even mediocre. I am very particular regarding who I am treated as a customer. Basic courtesy should be a given but unfortunately many businesses fail to understand nor demonstrate this basic tenet. Man Wong in the years he has serviced my car and my needs has consistently displayed this attitude which has engendered my loyalty to him and to Longo Lexus. I trust him with my car and seldom question the costs to repair or provide maintenance. He he was not working on the day I brought my car in I would defer it until he returned. The word, alacrity best describes his attitude: a cheerful readiness, to serve.

The competition is brutal and there is no reason to settle with just a good deal or average treatment or a car not equipped the way you want it.I called Steve Johiro (Steven.JohiroatLongoLexus.com) in the internet department at Longo. I told him what I was looking for and asked him what he could do for me. Within ten minutes on the phone, the deal was done. The following week I drove 60 miles to Longo Lexus and met with Steve and completed the paperwork for a special order GS 350. Steve stood behind everything he told me over the phone and put it on paper. No bait and switch. No BS. Because Longo is the largest dealer on the West Coast they have the largest inventory and more pull on special orders. From the day I signed the paperwork to the delivery of the car was 10 1/2 weeks (74 days). For me it was well worth it to get the exact car I wanted.Make a phone call to Steve. He will not let you down and the drive is worth it.

Hello, in my own opinion , they should do better training on new sales personel, because the person that show me the car he didnt even knew where the car was parked at, I had to go and find it my self , then after I drove the car and we went inside to start the buying process, he had to ask other sales employees to show him how to fill up the credit aplication, well I can go on and on in details but besides that all is good. another sales person noticed that this guy was lost ,he jump in and took the case and it whet trough bery smoth,, finaly after about three hrs. we closed the deal.

I went to Longo Toyota to buy my son a 2013 Tacoma, Access Cab with a 5-speed manual transmission. Some of the local dealers said the vehicle didn't exist with a manual trans. and no one had the exact model we wanted. I called Longo and they had three of them but wouldn't commit to a price over the phone. I went down there expecting to go to battle over price. I was met at the door by the sales manager who introduced me to a sales rep who showed me the car which I agreed to buy if they would meet my price. The salesman went to confer with the manager and within five minutes the salesman said the price was accepted and the deal was done. I have never had such a painless buying experience. I wish they sold other makes so I could buy all my cars there.

After all the good things that I heard about Longo Lexus, I was surprised by how mediocre the whole experience at the dealership was. It was somewhat of a letdown.It started off well enough. The salesman, Nick, was more than eager to show us the cars and let us do a test-drive when we told him what we were looking for. Longo Lexus truly has one of the largest stock in SoCal. (They had the model in the color we wanted at the lot when most of the other dealers had to offer a dealer exchange to get it.) However, the whole experience went downhill from there. Just like a lot of the other dealers out there, they sat us down to go over pricing. And just like the others, they started off at MSRP. But unlike a lot of the other dealers, they hardly budged from the high sales price when we started negotiating with them. In the end, just about every other dealer we went to offered a better price than Longo even after we told them the other dealers' figures. (They wouldn't even price match saying that those other dealers all add on extras like chrome wheels to jack up the price or that they'll give you any figure just to make you come in.... excuse after excuse while bad-mouthing all the other dealers.)If price is no object to you, then Longo Lexus is definitely an option. They have a great selection and you'll certainly get great customer service while you're there to look at the cars. But for us, we found the car we wanted at Beverly Hills Lexus for thousands less with equally amazing customer service.

This is a letter of appreciation to Ahmed Yamak, a Longo Lexus Certified Master Sales Agent.My wife purchased a Toyota Celica from Longo Toyota in 1978. She enjoyed the buying experience and kept Longo Toyota in the forefront of her mind regarding any subsequent purchases of Toyota vehicles. Again, in 2000, we drove her sister to Longo Toyota and she purchased a Toyota vehicle.In 2003, my wife was interested in purchasing a crossover vehicle. We drove to Longo Lexus regarding a potential purchase. To our surprise, when we entered the showroom, no one approached us or offered any assistance. There was a salesman and a receptionist in the showroom. Neither one of them offered any assistance. We left the showroom and vowed to never return to Longo Lexus.Based on our previous experience with Longo Toyota, in 2006 we purchased a Toyota Corolla S for our daughter. Once again we had a positive buying experience with Longo Toyota.In July of this year, my wife was interested in purchasing a certified pre-owned Lexus RX 350. We visited Santa Monica Lexus, South Bay Lexus and Beverly Hills Lexus. They all had a good selection of RX 350s in stock; however, they did not have the exterior and interior combination my wife was interested in purchasing. We knew that lease returns would be coming in each month; therefore, we informed the sales agents about our exterior and interior preferences and requested they call us when they received the appropriate combination.Even though the salesman and receptionist snubbed their nose at us in 2003, my wife utilized the internet and located the perfect RX 350 combination at Longo Lexus. We decided to call Longo Lexus and see if this specific vehicle was still on the lot. We established this particular vehicle was still on the lot and immediately made an appointment on Sunday, August 5, 2012, to view the car.After arriving at Longo Lexus approximately 12 noon, we exited our vehicle, and were immediately approached by Ahmad Yamak. He did not know we had already contacted Longo Lexus regarding a RX 350. Nevertheless, he was extremely personable and more than happy to offer his assistance. He offered us some liquid refreshments and most important he listened to what options my wife wanted on the RX 350. It became apparent to my wife and me that Ahmad was very knowledgeable about his Lexus product line. My wife and I agreed that this was one of the most positive buying experiences compared to Santa Monica, South Bay or Beverly Hills. My car leasing experience at Longo was amazing from start to finish thanks to Sergio Orozco. A family member put me in touch with Sergio regarding a great lease deal. He was quick to respond with helpful answers to my MANY questions and never made me feel bad about not knowing the ins and outs of leasing, as it was my first time. His genuine excitement for me getting my dream car was contagious and more importantly, sincere. I never felt like he was putting on an act just to close a deal. In my 2-year long car search (I'm slow!!), I met far too many dishonest and insincere car dealers. Longo and Sergio changed that for the better. Sergio explained why Longo is different than other Lexus dealers and I saw the proof for myself. I was treated as a guest, not an annoyance or paycheck like I was at South Bay Lexus in Torrance. Inquired about a Lexus IS 250 on the home page. Of all the dealers that replied Longo send me the Invoice and a great price. I did created a fake email, and the other dealers weren't as understanding as George Kantanto. Stopped by to meet George and he never pushed a sale. He showed me the car from the Invoice once we located, he took the time to go over every feature and we test drove same model. He explained the difference in the packages and I learned which ones had the package I wanted and which were the base model. Again I left without being pressured, and I let him know that I was going to go through my credit union. But George informed me Lexus was having a special financing rate and I applied. Yong Chung was excellent during the financing options. He explained all the added options I can purchased, and being that most cars are electrical I went with the extended warranty and prepaid service. Yong was great at explaining what was covered and what was not covered. After I purchased the IS 250, George took me over to the Service. First time being a Lexus and the process in itself was excellent at Longo Lexus.

Today may be Friday the 13th but I feel like it's a lucky day for my Aunt, Yesterday after much research on various cars (makes and models) I found a used car for my 76 year "YOUNG" Aunt at Longo Lexus that not only met but exceeded my expectations in every catagory. After having numerous bad experiences in online attempts to buy the car shown in the online ad with dealers agreeing to a negotiated price only to have them either use the old bait and switch or shamelessly disregaurd the already agreed upon price after arriving at the dealership to finalize the deal (in one case with Cashiers check in hand) they raise the price in one case by $1,400 for a car the was barley worth the negotiated price as it was, I was AMAZED to find that after making a appointment at Longo Lexus to view and test drive the car seen in the internet ad I found the exact car that I seen online. Felix Giles was the sales rep. assigned to us and I belive that was one of the luckist breaks to have happen to me in a good many years. After dealing with unscrupulous sales people and dealerships one after another in this attempt to find a reliable car at a fair price for my aunt I was AMAZED to find a man with high scruples and integrity in a sales position. Not only did Mr. Giles meet our reasonabley negotiated agreement on the car he surpassed it with a lower overall price. If you need a car or are helping a loved one find a car and Longo Lexus has something instock along those line, I strongly recommend that you give them a chance and when you do ask for Felix Giles he is human first and salesman second. I left not only extreamly satisfied with the whole experience all the way down the line , I also felt that I had just made a new friend in Felix Giles.

Man Wong is not very organized and lost my paper work which caused a big delay. I asked him to do a check for my car before my road trip, he told me he doesn't know what to check. I came in to the Service Department for several reasons and, needing a replacement part (roof rack part), he mentioned that the part that I had just ordered and paid for today, would be included as a warranty item and therefore at no cost, I was able to get a reimbursement. I did not know, but he was quick to point that out. Upon hearing that, I went back to the Parts Department and they reimbursed me. It is very comforting to know that a dealer will "do it right" for a customer. I have been a client of Longo Lexus for about 10 years, purchasing my first Lexus (2002 Lexus ES300) and in November 2011, purchasing my 2012 Lexus RX350. I would highly recommend Longo to anyone considering a new car, as they also back it up with outstanding service!

If you are researching/deciding on whether to purchase your next USED/CPO vehicle from LONGO Lexus? Pls read on, we just saved you potential drama, headache and heartache! Found an used '06 IS350 at LONGO as a graduation gift for my spouse; it was advertised as - "This car is in exceptionally great shape...We took care of the 90K service...and replaced brakes as were necessary." Upon contacting the LONGO LEXUS sales agent, replied emails were:i) "You should also know that the car has undergone the same inspection that all of our Certified Pre-Owned cars do and the only reason we could not certify it was because of the mileage. I cannot say much else other than this, if this IS was not a quality, solid car, we would not put it on our lot."ii) "Although this car is not Certified, it still underwent inspection and it is, above all else, a Lexus. In fact, the only reason that it is not certified is because it did not meet the maximum mileage requirement." WOW! As good as a "CPO!" Ok then, sounded like a deal to us! Thus we drove 2hrs(one-way) from SD to LA just to check out this IS. Right off the parking lot for a test drive, the brakes were squeaking in reverse! I asked why so? The reply was - "Well, the car has not been driven lately, may be the brakes need to warm up." While in the car, the driver's side mirror was not able to move up-&-down? Ok, in the end, we did get a $300 discount off the sticker (car was priced as Excellent condition per KBB?!) but NOT including the labor cost required to replace/install an OEM part. Bought/brought the vehicle home, while doing a full detail (deep wash + polish + wax + engine degrease), only to find out that under the hood, there are at least 10 missing plastic clips for the three engine covers, with the remaining ones pretty much half broken anyway! Btw, spare tire measured 30psi while LEXUS spec is 60psi; so much for passing the "CPO-inspection" right? Conclusion: 20 days later, we were dealing with loudER and loudER squeaking brakes that supposedly were "replaced as necessary" by LONGO Service Dept when advertised. Ya, that morning when we brought the car in to SD Lexus Service Dept, all the customers were "amused" by our squeaking brakes! "Priceless" moment indeed.... After inspection by our local SD Lexus dealership, the car needed: 1) NEW front pads, rotors and shim kits; 2) Rear rotors need re-surfacing. However, LONGO was ONLY willing to: Replace missing clips; replace the front pads, re-surface the front rotors. FORGET about the front shim kits and re-surfacing the rear rotors. Reason by LONGO: We the buyer already knew about the squeaking brakes upon purchasing the vehicle, and thus, LONGO will not honor a FULL brakes job despite findings by another Lexus Service Dept and the cost to do everything RIGHT! At time of this writing, the car was still within LONGO's "30-day; 2000miles warranty" and here we are, having to put up with their BARE minimum efforts in getting all the wrongs fixed.***Btw, interesting reading on LONGO business etiquette - reported by Mamed M. of LA, CA back in 06/19/2009. *** In the end, we were given the option of bringing the vehicle back to LONGO for a "full" refund? WHAT!? 4hrs round trip + $100 on the gas? And after we have spent $400 tinting the windows and running internal wires for the SAT radio + 8hrs of FULL detailing on the exterior paint? All the above mentioned issues could-have-should-have been taken care of during LONGO's "CPO-INSPECTION," as was told/communicated to us!!! ***See: http://www.lexus.com/c...; http://www.lexus.com/c... To prevent such incident from happening again to other USED/CPO customers, pls STOP over-promising (e.g. Passed "CPO-Inspection?") and under-delivering whenever customers discovered all the wrongs, and ONLY expect things to get done RIGHT the TOYOTA way! Bottom line: Deliver as Advertised and Promised. Are these all too much to ask for LONGO Lexus?

I was searching for a very specific car (2012 CT200h FIre Agate with Caramel) and had sent 5 emails out to my local dealerships. George replied promptly via e-mail and informed me that they had the car in stock while the other dealers would have to order it and that it would take one month. When I arrived at Longo (and I live in Santa Monica), George greeted me and took me to their subterranean showroom where there were hundreds of cars and they actually had 2 of the Fire Agates and 1 Nebula Gray with Caramel Interior. While other dealerships only had 7 in stock, they had at least 25 CT's and George was ever so kind to maneuver the gray car next to the FIre Agate so I could decide easier. With all of that said, I told George what I was willing to pay and he only needed to "go back" only once and the deal was done. George is very pleasant, non-aggressive, and makes you feel like you're his only customer. Not to mention, he is very straightforward and not into game playing. The entire Longo experience was absolutely superb and I will not hesitate to refer people to Longo and specifically George. The whole process took about 3 hours and George even offered me a Subway sandwich, to which he took my Subway order and had it made. I couldn't drive the car home that day so I scheduled delivery for the following day and it was personally delivered to me at my office (40 miles away). Overall, a very positive car buying experience and THE only place to go if you're looking for great prices, great service (George) and an unbelievable inventory.

I've been going back to this dealership many times already, to have our RX service and all I can say is; Paul Mills is the best Service Rep that I've encountered so far. I've been attended by different Service Rep but they're all the same... same, in the sense that they're NOT doing their job with a personal touch... it's automatic for them... it's a JOB for them. Paul is different, as he attend to my needs as if it's HIS car, it's HIS concern, it's HIS problem... very personal and with a personal touch. I want Paul to my our Service Rep all the time, if possible.Look for Paul if you need your vehicle service in this dealership.

Generally speaking, my experiences with Longo have been positive. I don't think we got as good a discount on purchase price as we should have, because we were paying cash. But my biggest disappointment may lie with the Lexus company rather than Longo. The driver-side mirror points to the ground when I back up, in case there are any tricycles there, but when I start going forward again, it points up to the sky, giving me a good view of the clouds. So I have to pull over and re-adjust the mirror before starting forward again. I have had this problem "fixed" at Longo four times, but after a day or two, the mirror is back to its old tricks. Is this a design flaw in the car itself, or do the Longo mechanics not know how to fix it?

Niva Salazar is by far the best service representative at this dealership. Other service people who work there, who I won't mention, aren't as nice or attentive as Niva. Niva would always take care of my car as fast a possible. I drive all the way from Santa Monica to El Monte to get my Lexus IS250 service because I know Niva would take great care of me and my car. My entire family owns a Lexus and one of the greatest reasons why we all own Lexus, and not BMW or Mercedes is because we know our cars will be take great care every time because of Niva. I have personally known Niva for almost 5+ years, and he has never tried to up sale or take advantage of me. Niva Salazar, if you are reading this, keep up the good work!

I was there to buy a used Lexus RX350. The sales person (Bruce Fannyan) had me talk to his suervisor (Victor Reyes) for pricing as he was busy with another customer. Victor aggreed to a price and went back to get the paperwork but came back asking me for 1500$ higher than what we had agreed. Lights were out on that day at the dealership and they were all preparing to go home early (5.30PM Friday) that day and I felt that they just wanted me to get lost. I talked to two of Vistor's supervisor, but they all wanted a written prrof. Now I can tell when Longo Lexus car salesman is lying, its when his lips are moving. Don't discuss anything with them verbally, get them to write everything down!!! I would never never never recommend the Longo Lexus dealership to any of my friends, after this bitter experience.

I recently took my car to Longo Lexus to get it serviced for a problem I had with the air conditioner. I was very upset that there was a problem with the car, but when I spoke with Niva Salazar he immediately made an appointment for me to bring in my car to have it inspected. From the initial phone call, Niva was very helpful. He was accommodating to my schedule and listened to all of my concerns and frustrations.When I brought the car in Niva was, once again, very helpful. He promptly greeted me with a friendly smile and listened to my concerns. He explained the services that were going to be performed on my car and took the time to answer my questions. Niva never made me feel rushed. He was thorough and friendly throughout the entire process and provided me with status updates as my car was being serviced. My appointment was late in the evening so by the time my car was ready it was a little past their closing time. Niva stayed as long as it took to complete my service and always did everything with a great smile and positive attitude. Niva takes pride in what he does and genuinely cares about his guests. It is great customer service like this that will bring me back to Longo Lexus. I would highly recommend Niva Salazar. He simply provides excellent service.

I walked into the dealership needing a car and knowing what I wanted - a CT 200H. Upon arriving, the salesman that I spoke with tried pushing a used CT on me and overall, I wasn't feeling it (the interaction with him/overall vibe). While I had hoped to purchase a car that evening, I was in the "looking" state of mind and completely willing to walk without one. At some point in the conversation another salesman, Rony Parada, passed by and the gentleman who originally greeted us looped him into the conversation. Rony kept us from walking away that evening. He was very personable and extremely knowledgeable. He gets extra points for always remembering our names and never faltering as he always addressed us by name. (Good customer service is always appreciated.)While I knew I wanted a CT, he did a great job of explaining the differences between the trim levels and even introduced me to the F Sport Edition which is what I ultimately ended up purchasing. His knowledge and passion about the vehicles was very much appreciated and extremely helpful. (I've worked in the automotive industry for nearly 10 years, so it was nice to have a knowledgeable salesman as opposed to my previous experiences.)Throughout the negotiation process, Rony was great to work with. He also stayed late in order to walk me step-by-step through the vehicle and its features. Additionally, he followed up and has always been more than willing to answer any questions I have or address any of my concerns. Overall, it was an easy process and Rony was great to work with. I definitely recommend working with him if you're in the market for a new Lexus!

I went to Longo lexus on the recommendation of a friend and I was blown away. As I walked up I met Felix, he was courteous and helpful and made me feel at ease right away. He asked me what model I was interested in and the options (if any) I was looking for. He took us to the outdoor lot and the garage lot until we found the vehicle I was looking for in the exact color and the exact options I was looking for. He promptly took my wife and I for a test drive, he was very knowledgeable of all aspects of that vehicle. After the test drive I was sure that was the vehicle I wanted. I must say Felix and Charles were saints. I had previously put in thru my bank for a guaranteed price to be sent to 3 dealerships, because Longo was so far away they were not a listed dealership. When I got my confirmation on the price I took it to Felix and the negotiations commenced. I was surprised when the price was higher than I expected and was about to leave because I had not taken a couple factors into my equations. Felix worked tirelessly with Charles (1 of the sales managers) to get me down to the payment range I had budgeted for. If not for Felix's incredible dedication and hard work I would have missed out on purchasing this exceptional vehicle. I stand by my recommendation of felix and the entire Longo lexus dealership 100%. If you are in the market for a lexus don't waste your time anywhere else, Longo is the place for you.

I can't even begin to tell you how amazing my experience was at Longo Lexus. Felix Giles was my agent assisting me with locating my ultimate dream car. As soon as we walked to the customer service desk I was slightly apprehensive. After a few moments it felt like a sigh of relief just because of how personable/sincere he was. It made my experience all the better. Also allowing me to feel much more relaxed, without worrying about being haggled about the expectation of having to buy a car. Felix took me on a test drive, while really taking his time with each question and detail of the RX. Any question that you could possibly thing of regarding a car he knew the answer to because of how well rounded he is. (Felix was a former NASCAR driver, who almost had a fatal crash and had to give up his passion for the mean time to sell for Lexus. He also maintains a degree in mechanical engineering.) If you have the questions to ask, this man is highly intelligent enough to break it down into terms that a 5 year old could understand. He also directed me to a fleet manager Gary, who really helped me out with an excellent price of the car without braking the bank. Felix really went the extra mile with making my experience the best experience that I have ever had buying a car. He even took us down to the garage to see if they had the specific leather interior that I was looking for. My mom and I were literally on a golf cart driving through the fresh sent of new car smell, as well as the beautiful scenery of sparkling cars and Christmas decorations. It felt like something out of a movie. Not only did I end up buying a car but we had an amazing time while doing it. And considering that it was December he put a big red bow on the car, so when I walked out from the fiance dept. it was like a Lexus commercial (a tear). I couldn't be more happy with my purchase and feel more lucky today than I did yesterday to have met such an amazing man. Felix Giles has my highest recommendations. YOU will not be sorry. trust me :)..All I can say is thank you so much for giving me this experience that I will never forget in my whole life.

My wife and I purchased a 2012 Lexus RX 350 from Robert yesterday after a week-long process communicating and and working with several dealers in the Southern California area. Throughout the whole process, Robert was friendly, easy-going, and accessible. He responded quickly through email, text, and phone. He did not mind that we were talking to other dealers as he appeared very confident (in a good way) in his dealership's inventory and resources. At first, we were going to purchase a car from another dealership because they had the exact car we wanted and they were willing to go below a TrueCar.com quote we received. However, this other dealership did not have the car immediately available (we would have had to wait until January). As a result, we contacted Robert, told him about our situation, and asked him to find us a car with the same features at a lower price. Robert found us a car with a different color (one that the wife ultimately preferred over our original preference of Stargazer Black) and at a lower price than the other dealership. We completed the purchase soon after that.Overall, we found our purchasing experience with Robert to be a very smooth and positive one. The key for us was doing a lot of research through various websites and forums to see what people are paying for the car. We also calculated our acceptable price range and interest rate and asked for a clear idea of what our monthly payments would be at the negotiated price. Having that information with us made our negotiations very easy. We had a price we were willing to pay. We asked Robert to beat it. He did. End of story.

I have dealt with service advisors before that I have been extremely unhappy with. We recently purchased a CT200h from Rony at Longo Lexus. This car is in very high demand and took 2 months to get here from Japan due to their tsunami. Rony was very patient with our frequent calls and we felt that he was doing everything he could to get us a car. He spent an hour and a half after the paperwork was signed delivering the car. He paired our phones, demonstrated the nav, voice commands and traffic. He had to call XM to get the account set up and made sure it was working before we left. We did pay full sticker for the car but I'm still rating it a 5. Wouldn't make sense except that this car is in very short supply with high demand and they probably could have added a mark-up to the price and still sold every one of them they could get (ours was the only one there when we picked it up.) Longo did a great thing by charging a fair price and we are very happy customers.

Mr. Martin, in my view, is a real asset to Longo Lexus. Attentive, professional, knowledgeable, and as accommodating as circumstances permitted. I would seek to buy through him on future purchases. The 'Bad' rating indicated is due to the dealerships insistance that I provide me Social Security Number and authorize examination of my credit history even though I paid all cash for the car. I am doing a follow up to determine whether that is lawful on their part.

The only reason I originally bought from Longo Lexus was the expirenece I had with the Internet Sales Manager Efran. I had been in the market for a luxury vehicle and after doing my research on price and safety I began the search with several dealerships. I called Longo and spoke with Efran, who exceeded all expectations.Not only was he very professional, I could tell instatnly he had authority and I was not dealing with a "school boy" salesman.We met the next day, he knew I was extremely short on time and he made it all happen quickly and professionally. I did not have to wait hours while he went back and forth to talk to the magic guy behind the door- There was no passing me around- Efran knew I meant business and with a smile on his face he took care of every question and need- Lets face it, now a days you can find the same product for the same price anywhere- Its the Service that will set companies apart. I recently had my 2004 Lexus RX330 serviced. My Service Consultant was Mr. John Duran. If you are a first time or even an existing customer of Longo Lexus, I highly recommend contacting Mr. Duran as your Service Consultant. Mr. Duran is very professional, genuinely warm and friendly, and obviously very dedicated to serving his customers needs. I'd like to share a personal experience with Mr. Duran that exemplifies Longo Lexus' efforts to maintain goodwill with their customers. Mr. Duran made an honest mistake in quoting the estimate for some additional service that was necessary on my car. Not only did Mr. Duran take the time to go over the work performed on my car, but he explained his mistake, and in the end, and to my surprise, I was not charged for the additional cost. Mr. Duran even went a step further and offered me a discount that was even better than my Triple AAA discount. I could not thank Mr. Duran enough for what he did because he did not have to do that on his own. At other places I most likely would have been fighting to get a fair compromise for a mistake that was not my fault. But, Mr. Duran had it all taken care of when I came to pick up my car, and I was very impressed. I truly appreciated his honesty and integrity.Longo Lexus has serviced my car since I purchased it six years ago, and they continue to provide excellent, quality service, as well as excellent service consultants, one in particular being Mr. John Duran.

I feel like I got an excellent price on certified used Lexus RX 350. Sales person was not pushy but friendly and polite. He seemed very honest and he was helpful. There were anumber of cars to choose from and he helped me make a decision about which one would fit my needs. He was thorough in explaining all teh functions of the car. Flelix also gave me a few extra things like a keychain and floor mats which was a nice touch. I felt like he listened to my needs in regards to choosing a car and a price point for the purchase of a car.

Nurul is a very friendly salesman to work with. He made our car purchase a pleasant experience in a relaxed atmosphere. There wasn't the typical "haggling" that we have encountered at other dealerships. He negotiated a fair deal with his superiors and came back with a printout showing the particulars of the purchase, including money factors, etc. This is the second lease that we have made through Nurul and both times he made sure were we getting the car we wanted, not a second or third choice. After agreeing on the terms, Nurul brought us over to the financing. That too was a pleasant non-pressured event. David Ishida, Financial Services Manager, was very friendly,thoroughly explaining the terms of the contract including any other options that were available that could be added to the contract, but definately no arm twisting. Upon completion of the paperwork, Nurul brought us out to our new car that was fully detailed and ready to go. After going over the operation of the vehicle, we pulled out of the lot as another satisfied Longo Lexus customer!

AJ Chand was our saleman at Longo Lexus. He was extremely curtious and pleasant, and answered all of our questions in a straightforward and personable manner. My family and I were looking for a specific Lexus model, the IS 350, and AJ was able to recommend a car that suited our requirements, again in a most professional manner. He did not try to dictate what we were to see, and allowed us to go at our own comfortable pace with regards to deciding on the right vehicle for us. Generally, buying a car is a stressful experience, but in this case, AJ made it easy for us.I probably would have tried to get a little better price on the vehicle, but my family and I had such a positive experience working with AJ, that we decided to take a reasonable offer and conclude the purchase. Our car buying experience was amazing. We drove 75 miles to this dealership and it was well worth it! Gary Littleton was attentive to our needs and went through everything over the phone with us. When we arrived at the dealership we knew exactly what we were getting. He was up front on pricing and never once pressured us into something we didn't want. He took care of our kids and got them set up with popcorn and a little t.v. while my husband and I took care of the car buying formalities. Those formalities were quick and easy to go through and we were in and out of the dealership in no time at all. Even my kids thought it was great experience...they never once asked if it was time to go home...LOL. The reason I feel it necessary to write this review, which I rarely do, is to let it be known about a wonderful experience I recently had at Longo Lexus. My fiance and I recently bought a certified pre owned vehicle at this location. George K. was our sales man, and Ben Hodor was the duty sales manager. I advised George that we liked the car, had a price that was not going to be increased, and did not want to spend time going back and forth haggling over dollars and cents. Mind you, we were being fair to both ourselves, as well as, the dealership. George made one trip to Mr. Hodor, and that was all it took. During my test drive with George, I noticed the vehicle, we eventually purchased, had a slight pull to the right. I mentioned this to George, but neither of us made an issue of it. After about a month now, I have spent a few thousand dollars on upgrades, including the wheels and tires, which brings me to another plus I have for Longo Lexus. I have been the primary driver of this vehicle for the last several weeks, and have certainly noticed the car since day one has a wheel alignment issue. Today I called the service department and spoke with Glen Simpson. I advised him of this issue, and the fact that it has been present since the test drive. I thought to myself, he is not going to believe this, especially since I put new wheels and tires on the car, but I know its true, and I hope George K. our salesman remembers me stating this during the test drive. To my pleasant surprise, Glen made it perfectly clear that there was no need to get a confirmation from George, and that he would take care of the alignment, as well as, his desire to meet me when I arrived to make sure the vehicle was completed on time as promised. This is what I call going over and beyond the norm to please a customer. In this day and age where sales are few, and money is tight, it makes a big difference to someone like myself to receive such good customer service. I hope all these gentlemen receive the praise they deserve. It is often that employees are made aware of their short comings, and I think its just as important, if not more important that employees are complimented and rewarded for their great efforts. I don't think we will be moving from a Lexus to BMW, or Mercedes. The service Longo Lexus provided was excellent. Thank you

I recently leased an rx350 from Longo Lexus and the experience couldn't have been better. Walking onto a dealership is a mixed bag. I've been shopping for a car for quiet a while. During this whole process of looking for a car, I've been to dealerships where the salesmen have been extremely aggressive from beginning to end...while others have been dismissive and outright rude based on their perception of me. I also went to one BMW dealership where I went into the showroom and couldn't find a salesman to help...granted I came after work around the time they were closing. Longo Lexus was completely different. The moment my friend and I walked into the lobby, we were immediately greeted by a sales assistant. I believe his name was Vince or Vin. He walked us around the features of the rx350 in the showroom and took us on a test drive. Once we got back, we were introduced to Frank Boendi and the experience couldn't have been any better. He's a really nice man and reminded me of my favorite uncle. Uncle Frank was extremely courteous, attentive and patiently went over all of our concerns and questions. No question was too dumb, no concern was too trivial. He knew every aspect of the buying process and made me feel completely at ease. The is a first class gentleman and a first class dealership. If you're looking for a Lexus, you really have to check this one out and ask for uncle Frank. :)

If you are the type of person who value time and effectiveness as one of the most imporatnt aspect in essence of almost everything, I would recommend you to work with Jack Lee in Longo Lexus if you are considering buyign a Lexus. We just bought our first Lexus Hybrid from Jack Lee at Longo. It's a very pleasant experience. Jack is very professional and courteous. Since I am buying the car for my parents, my consideration is a bit different when comparing buying one for myself. I did my my homework before I walked in to the dealer. Then, I told Jack what I am looking for and he provided the professional, candid and straight advices based on the price range and the features. Then I make my decision based on what I think is the best. We basically walk thru the pro and con on the HS, RX, and GS. At one point, I was walking out becasue I was contemplating whether I should get a RX or a HS since my parents are rather short in height. Jack handled this potential unfruitful engagement with professionalism. That is what brings me back and bought the car few mintues later. ) Gotta love the clean engagement that focus to the point. I think the deal that I got is okay, not the greatest one but it's one packed with values.In smmary, it's a very pleasant exprience because Jack provided the professional sales services. It's timely and it's effective. Truely a good sales who you can discuss the options and purchase the car that you deem valuable. A sales who can listen into customer's need and provide the consultative advices without any other agendas. ) Or maybe there is some hidden agenda but I didn't detect it. :) Oh, and he also worked to get the deal for us under the basis that the dealership still need to make profit. So it worked for me well.comments from another car buyer who worked in an IT sales organization. )

Overall, the experience was good. Neva was very friendly and personable when I dropped off my car. I quickly prepared my paperwork and even obtained a Lexus loaner car, as opposed to the Enterprise car that was made available to me. The work was well done. My experience at pick-up was prompt and I felt appreciated when speaking to the cashier and the valet driver.

Great quick and friendly service, had made a appointment a week ahead with Niva, got to the service center a bit early it was Niva's lunch time. however still took no longer then 5 min for them to get niva out of lunch to take care of my service request, he explained what services will be done and the estimated cost, setup my loan car and I'm off the lot in less than 20 min.receive a call from Niva the next day informing me that my car is ready and again gone over what was done. i was in and out of the service department in less than 15 min including returning the loaner.

My experience at longo lexus has always been exceptional.I have been a loyal customer to lexus for years because of the attentiveness and efficiency of the customer service department.For example,my IS250 had been stalling and left me stranded at my office unfortunately I had no other means of transportation and was unable to take my car in for service. So Mr. Niva Salazar went above and beyond and had a tow truck come pick my car up at my office and had a rental ready for me without hesitation. The experience shocked me I was so happy and relieved. Everytime I get my car serviced I request to be seen by Mr. Salazar because of his efficiency,honesty and professionalism. Longo Lexus was a great experience for us! Definitely the place to go if you want a low pressure sale!I am a first time Lexus owner. We wanted the Murano, but glad we held off. I spent a week calling around to many, many, many Lexus Dealers (12 total). I had it narrowed down to just a few where I thought the price would be right. The night before I was going to buy, I decided to call one more dealer (Longo Lexus) and glad I did. Mark, a very nice guy (moves in slow-speed) was very professional as he actually e-mailed me the MSRP Label with all of the itemized standard equipment and options. He hand wrote the invoice price, the discount and his sales price! What a novelty, why dont the rest of the bone heads out there do that! He was the only dealer to do this for me. I wanted to go a little lower and he told me call him on Saturday. Instead, I drove over 60 miles to Longo and was there when they opened and he was a bit shocked, but he knew I was there to buy.The RX350 we wanted was down in the underground storage (very cool) and my wife did not like the color. She fell in love with the Pebble Beach Truffle Mica. We went upstairs, crunched a few numbers and bam, an easy deal without all of the vein busting haggling. We purchased the extra protective coating and we went to lunch, came back and the car was filled up, and in shiny showroom condition.Rony was excellent and helped with the transaction. He showed us the cars, explained featured, took care of the prep, spent a generous amount of time explaining the features, Navigation, etc. Bottom line: He did not rush us!!!I am a tough customer (25 years in the Military) and generally hate car salesman as a rule... These guys are top notch & I recommend Longo Lexus (Penske Company) to anyone. The Lexus experience was actually fun for us and I believe that I may be a Lexus owner for Life!! What a beautiful car:)

Longo proclaims themselves as "the biggest and best Lexus dealership west of the mississippi", at least thats what I heard about 100 times while there. I bought a car from them & the car salesman initially was very accommodating and pleasant. Unfortunately he lied about several things and did not know the car at all. I unfortunately took his word for a lot of the cars features which were not present (ie:foldable seats to improve cargo room, Navigation features, etc) !! He told me to call him anytime for questions. I called him the day after purchase and he was extremely rude and unpleasant.Longo has a bunch of new buyer perks which are usually used in the first 3 months after purchase (so they claim). I was never told of any of them. I found out by listening to one of their bogus ads on the radio 8 months later. I contacted their customer service center twice without any response & then gave up.I would definitely go to one of the many other dealers in LA. LONGO is a very poor dealership. Don't let them fool you.

We bought a pre-owned 2004 Lexus RX330 from this dealership in August 2005. This was absolutely the best car dealership experience I have ever had. We were treated with respect and kept getting honest answers to specific questions. Ben is now a sales manager. Longo Lexus treats every customer with respect and fairness from the moment you drive in until the moment you drive your new car off the lot and even on all my return visits I have found the service to be absolutely superb. The showroom is clean, clean and cleaner from the restrooms to the service bays. They understand that the customer is king at LONGO. Got that kinda slimey dealer feeling when I bought my car. I think I could have gotten a better deal had I gone somewhere else. Loved the car- it was worth it - but I think I could have done better.
