Someone at the dealership decided it was a good idea to empty both my center console an glove compartment an throw everything on my seats an floor of my car. After having it for two weeks to do a simple ignition switch change. Also refused to put steering column back. When parts where right on the seat. Sorry your employee covered it with stuff he shouldn't have been touching or going through.

I've always found their service department to be quite efficient when dropping off a vehicle early. But what brings me to writing this review is a lovely experience trading in my last civic for a new one. Abdullah was wonderful and charismatic (just the right amount of charm, if you ask me). Greg is the absolute rudest service rep that I have EVER dealt with. I asked for a receipt or paperwork showing what work was done to my car because I am worried about the reliability. 5 lights came on the dash all at once, indicating several problems. I was told no loaner is available until a week later so I had to drop my car off. I've had the car two months and it has been serviced twice. Turned out to be a sensor and was repaired and covered the same day. Great! I wanted to be sure to have a paper trail showing what went wrong in case that it happens again once it is out of warranty. Greg said they would mail the paperwork to me because it was a warrantied part. When I said "that's odd" because I usually receive some form of paperwork, he gave me the most disrespectful, rudest, dirty look I have ever encountered! My exact word were "that's odd". I wasn't a rude when I said it I just truly never heard that before. Even his coworker was surprised at the demeanor and look that he gave me. I asked if I said something wrong because it is pretty standard to receive something at least saying the car was serviced. He walked away, visibly upset, only to return a couple of minutes later, push a button and print out a receipt. I went home upset thinking I did something wrong. Earlier that day, I called 5 hours after I dropped my car off with ZERO communication from him, to check on the status so I would know if I would have to rent a car for the weekend. Unprofessional. The first time I had service done was very pleasant. Mike I believe is his name, was very helpful and communicative during an already stressful event. Greg not only didn't call me, but was apparently inconvenienced by me calling him. I have never experienced anything like that before.

First off this place is absolutely fantastic!!! Owen was my salesman and knocked it out of the park!! Mike also handled this transaction flawlessly. Lamacchia Honda is clean the selection is pristine and reasonable priced. I highly recommend for service and sales.

My girlfriend and I went car shopping, this was the second Honda dealer we went to. The first was in Liverpool and lets just say they were rude, snotty and miserable to deal with us. Simply put just a waste of time but then we went to Lamacchia Honda, down town Syracuse. Our Sales person Nas as great, we hit it off very personable and knowledgeable! Not a typical car salesmen, he asked us what we needed and showed us what would work. Phil, one of the managers actually pulled up the car for us like it was valet parking ( impressive ). The other manager introduced himself to us as we walked into the dealership not after the sale like others do, Nelson was also very personable which made us feel important and at ease. Definitely happy that we went to Lamacchia Honda, next time we wont waste out time going somewhere else first. Do your self a favor and just go there!

We've bought multiple cars from Lamacchia in the past, and went in to purchase another new car from them. After negotiating for a bit, we were within $100 of making a deal, even though the price was considerably higher than I had hope for. While negotiating this last $100 difference, the owner came rushing out of his office and started yelling at us. He was stabbing his finger down on the table, demanding that we quit wasting his time and to decide right then whether we wanted to take "his best offer" or leave. We left. Went to a competitor and got the car we initially wanted for $1100 less than the "best deal" at Lamacchia, without any of the pressure or drama.I do want to add that despite the horrible experience we had at Lamacchia, we think the service department is great. I also didn't have any issue with the sales department until the owner interceded. Avoid him if you can.

We had bought multiple cars from Lamacchia Honda in the past, and had been reasonably satisfied, so when we needed a new car we went there to make a deal. They had a car that was close to what we were looking for, and we sat down to make a deal. After a bit of negotiating, we were within $100 of making a deal despite the price being higher than we had hoped for. Suddenly, the owner came rushing out of his office and started yelling at us. Told us to quit wasting his time and to take the deal as is or leave. He was stabbing his finger down on the desk while he was making this rant. We left. We'll never buy another car from Lamacchia. If you go to buy a car here, avoid the owner at all costs.We went to a nearby competitor, and bought the exact car we had been looking for for $1100 less than Lamacchia's "best deal", who even threw in Honda floormats for us. No pressure or drama, just a salesperson who wanted to work with us. I do want to add that, despite our horrible experience with the sales group, we've always found the service department to be quite good -- helpful and friendly. We'll miss not being able to get our service done here anymore.

When purchasing a new vehicle (often the 2nd largest purchase following a home) you are excited and then assured by the salesperson that the vehicle will be clean and sparkling when you pick it up. Not so at Lamacchia Honda. Following the disappointment of the delivery the car was then brought back to the dealership for a "second chance" and again the car had blemishes that were specifically pointed out the the salesperson who downplayed my disappointment about the lack of customer care. Unfortunately the Honda name sells itself and allows for the Lamacchia dealership to take away customer service and the joy of buying a new vehicle. My experience was not a "beautiful thing" as stated in the Lamacchia commercial. It should be noted that the owner was suppose to contact me and when I attempted to contact him I received no return call. very disheartening to the loyal Honda drivers.

I bought a certified used car here last November. The car fax was fine and I was told it had new brakes and tires. When I got ready to have my oil changed, a friend informed me that it was evident that the car had been in a accident and there were two very obvious damaged parts underneath the car. There is NO way they would not have seen those and yet they certified it and sold it to me. Although the salesman and finance manager were outstanding, the whole experience has soured my opinion of this dealership.

They claim they will provide 3 year warranty on batteries in their new cars. I bought a CRV new in Feb 2014...battery conked out Feb 14, 2016...had to buy one at Autozone because it was Sunday and I had to go to work. Honda said tough...I should've "waited" and returned my car with dead battery to them when convenient...corporations with integrity will honor warranties, even when not convenient to do so (me missing work is more of an inconvenience than a multi-national corporation reimbursing $127)...hello Toyota!

I would like to commend Owen Delay, salesman at Lamacchia Honda, for his exemplary service during my recent car purchase experience. Owen was professional, knowledgeable, patient and friendly without being "pushy" and he went over and above to ensure my satisfaction. Owen came in on his day off to accommodate my schedule and went out of his way to assist me with getting my vehicle on the day I wanted it, despite a minor problem with my down payment. Owen and the staff at Lamacchia Honda is the reason that I returned to purchase my third Honda. Thank you again for a good experience!

When we arrived, she introduced us to Andy, our Sales associate, who was very down to earth, knowledgeable, and patient. Even the sales manager, usually just known as the "man behind the curtain", stopped by to chat for a bit. Nelson was a great guy! Nelson, Andy, and the finance manager even stayed well past closing time to finish up everything - great service.The best part, no pressure sales. They gave us exactly what I wanted for a trade on our old car and a good deal on the new one. Everything was transparent and we were able to evaluate many potential options for the sale without feeling any pressure whatsoever.I can't say enough good things about the experience or the people at Lamacchia Honda and we will definitely be keeping our future business here!

I just leased a 2015 Honda Pilot from Dale Hendrix. Great salesman, great service. Dale was extremely helpful, being that I live in Watertown, 60 miles north of Lamacchia. He handled as much as he could over the phone, and when I came in to pick up my awesome new Pilot, I was in and out in 30 minutes. This is my third lease from Lamacchia, having dealt with other salesmen each time. Dale was BY FAR the kindest, most understanding and professional by far! I will see you in three years, Dale! Customer service here is below average. While the salesman is good and the price for the accord was great, the dealership is behind the times in terms of providing absolute customer care. After signing on the agreed price, I was ready to give them the money from my through electronic deposit. Unfortunately, lamacchia honda is still in the 20th century and wanted a physical check. The required contacting my bank to fedex a check. In the mean time while the dealer was eating for the check, they could have been preparing the vehicle for the customer. That did not happen and instead of receiving the vehicle on Wednesday I was told Thursday. Then I get told on Wednesday the vehicle would not be ready until late Friday. Unacceptable service. The check arrived on a Wednesday which is when I should have received the accord. I've never had to wait this long for delivery of a car. Not the best experience. I do not recommend buying from this dealer.

Your company stood out among other Honda on line dealer's sales help, on a weekend. The sales rep answered all my questions in a very plesant and knowledgable manner helping me make a decision to buy from them. The test drive and visuals finalized my decision as I selected my preferred model and accessories. Dale Hendricks guided me flawlssly through the necessary paperwork and delivered my new 2014 Odyssey Mini Van with all the accessories added on time. I have only driven 100 miles so I am still getting to know it's technology. I am extremely happy with my first smart vehicle.

Recently bought a 2014 CRV from Lamacchia Honda. We dealt with Dale Hendrix in sales. He was pleasant and knowledgeable to work with. After picking up the vehicle we noticed a crack in the front windshield and called Dale immediately. He told us to bring it right in and he would have the service manager look at it. Upon arrival at the dealer Dale went and got Don the service manager to take a look at the crack. Don said that it was definitely a crack/flaw from the factory and he would replace the windshield but it would take 3 to 4 days to get a new one ordered. Dale the salesman asked Don if a loaner car would be available for me the day they were going to replace windshield. Don said sure. Three days later I get a call telling me the windshield was in and could I bring the car in at 7:30 am to have the work done the next morning. I showed up at 7:30 and told the service staff my name and what I was there for. They checked their list and I was on it. I also mentioned that Don said I would get a loaner for the day as the pick up time was at 5:00pm because the seal for the windshield needed to dry thoroughly. While I was waiting for the loaner Don came out and scolded me saying i needed to call ahead if I needed a loaner for the day. I felt embarrassed as he did this in front of other customers and staff. After he left I talked to the service rep about the process for the windshield replacement. He told me that the windshield comes from Honda but the replacement of it is done down the street by another repair shop. That was OK with me until after I got home with the new windshield and noticed three things,1) My car was filthy from the work on the inside 2) The rear view mirror was bouncing around like crazy as it was installed incorrectly( I pulled it off and reinstalled it myself) 3) There was a scratch and a hole in the rear carpet area where they put my seat down and loaded the box the windshield was in to take it down the street. I called Dale the salesperson and told him what happened and told him I hoped I would never have to deal with service dept. again. He was apologetic and said any future issues to directly contact him. I will probably go somewhere else for service, Honda City.

All of my questions were answered before I could think to ask them. Dale made it very simple for me and gave me the time to decide with no pressure added! I so appreciated this! This was my first time buy a car and this dealership made it painless and easy. With the amazing help from Jamie Johnson and Dale Hendrix I found the perfect car in my price range. Previously I had been to another dealership and they made me feel rushed and they didn't care about my needs. I called and spoke with Jamie who got me into an appt and set me up with Dale. Dale made me feel like not only did he care about the fact I needed a new car, but respected my price range and worked tirelessly to get me into a car in that price range. I can't say enough positive things about Dale and my experience. I have already begun to tell anyone who needs a new Honda to make the extra drive and work with Dale and Lamacchia Honda as a whole. I am already in love with my car and I know if anything were to happen they would help in a heart beat.

I'm writing to bring attention to excellent customer service provided to me by service adviser Ed. I came in with a question about my windshield wiper which I had bought about a month prior at the dealership which was streaking. Even though it was five minutes before closing, Ed enthusiastically offered to come out to my car and take a look athe problem. Ed removed the wiper and brought it inside where he cleaned it with ammonia. He then put the wiper back on, cleaned my windshield and then made sure the problem was solved before going back in. Everytime I encounter Ed at the dealership (I purchased my car and have all my service done at the dealership), Ed is always knowledgable, polite and a pleasure to deal with.

I found myself in a situation very upside down in a loan with a car that needed more work. I'd been to seven other dealerships and all told me that they couldn't help me because not only did I need to trade this vehicle in, I needed my payments to be reasonable. Michael Demperio went above and beyond to assist me to get me in my first new vehicle. Even the owner was involved to ensure I was getting the best deal possible. I am extremely grateful for all that they did. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone. Honda stands behind their vehicles- a very different scenario than my old car where the manufacturer was well aware of a defect but did nothing. I love my new CR-V and will be doing business with them again next year when my husband trades in his vehicle. One other note- on the day that I picked my vehicle up, it was really quick. The manager had me sign the paperwork while Michael transferred my plates. I was in and out in about a half hour. No surprises and very efficient. Great experience!

We were looking to lease a car and stopped in to Lamacchia Honda. Dale Hendrix greeted us and was very helpful in making a decision on the right car for us. We worked through the lease details and Dale was very good at explaining everything to us. We put together a very competative deal and the car was ready for pickup in 2 days. Dale was very helpful in going over the cars details and equipment before we took possession. Overall a very comfortable experience and I would recommend the dealership and salesman to anyone looking for a vehicle.

We found them online and sent an inquiry in regarding a Civic. Received a phone call back right away from Jayme Johnson. She scheduled us a test drive with Devin O'Hara. Once we met Devin he went and got a car that we were interested in purchasing, test drove it and came back with a final number (without that back and forth). Loved that we did not have to go through the dreadful back and forth, anyone that has bought cars knows how painful that process can be. Got our final number on the car (more than happy with the first and final offer because we had already done our research and knew what we wanted to pay) went and sat down with the finance guy and we were gone. All this was done with a maximum time of maybe an hour in the dealership. I would highly recommend you check these guys out if you want quick, friendly and quality service.... I just leased a Honda Fit Sport from Lamacchia and you are true to your advertisement! Scott Heyden and Jayme Johnson were superb. Friendly, punctual and knowledgeable of the products. Jayme did a great initial job going thru all my options prior to arriving. She then introduced me to Scott. (What nice people!!!) The car was waiting for me when I first looked at it. It was a nice length of test drive. Scott answered all my questions! Upon purchase, all documents were ready. The car was superbly detailed by your staff. What nice people! -I keep saying that! Just bought our 3rd Honda from Lamacchia Honda, a 2014 CRV EX-L. Great experience from start to finish. Dale was not pushy at all and we felt that he was really working for us. He got us the trade-in value we wanted and got the price within our budget. Very happy with the car and the dealership!

When I was in Georgia on basic training I got royally screwed while buying a truck. I went in thinking I just needed to get out of the vehicle as soon as possible. Not only did these guys get me into a brand new civic for a lower payment, and much lower interest rate, but they explained to me how they were doing it in a way easy to understand. Devin was the salesmen that helped me. He was very friendly and laid back.

After doing a lot of research, I decided to call Lamacchia Honda for a test drive on the 2014 CR-V. I called and Jayme Johnson set me up with an appointment. She was very friendly on the phone and in person. John Harmath answered all my questions on Leasing, since I had never done that before. I love the vehicle and bought it. John was very helpful to show me all about the features and even hooked up my Bluetooth, which I had never used before! Great experience! I am confident they will always treat me well!

I am about to purchase our 4th or 5th Honda(second Odyssey)...all from different Honda dealerships over the years and a couple different cities. I must say that John Harmath made it the easiest and most pleasant experience I've had buying any car. Jayme Johnson handled the beginning stages to get me acquainted with the vehicles I had my eye on and turned the reins over to John. John was very gracious and helped me with measurements and the like because this van needs to fit all my dog show equipment as well as several large dogs at any one time. I know I will love this Honda as much as all the others we've had. Thank you Lammachia and John in particular!

just purchased probably my 12th Honda from lamacchia Honda my wifes 4th crosstour the sales dept awesome mr lamacchia was very helpful and as allways gave me great figures on new cars but most of all when it counts there service dept. goes above and beond to take care of any concerns big or small. thanks lamacchia Honda were buying a car is a beaaaaaatifull thing haha

I recently bought a Honda Fit from Lamacchia Honda. I was very pleased with the customer service. I was treated honestly and fairly, which wasn't the case with other dealers I had contacted. I would highly recommend this Honda dealer. The Honda is a great car which practically sells itself, but customer service is also very important. I decide to buy my Honda here instead from another dealer because they had the best customer service.

Stopped at Lamacchia Honda after doing my research on the value of my trade and the invoice price for a 2014 Honda Odyssey EX-L. This is absolutely the worst dealership that I have ever dealt with for pricing. Anyone who buys a car there is definitely getting ripped-off! They offered me $16K on a loaded mint condition 2008 Lexus RX-350 with only 67,500 miles. That price is the dealer trade value for one that is in rough condition. But they were willing to knock off $1,000 on the MSRP of the Honda. Big deal! What a waste of time. In my opinion, they do not deserve to have a Honda franchise! I will be keeping my Lexus.

Absolute worse buying experience I have ever had. Negotiation went well but from the phone call 45 minutes before the agreed vehicle delivery time saying that it was not ready, it went down hill fast. When I was asked if I wanted out of the deal and I said yes, the attitude became very unprofessional and their stories did not agree. This is not a place where I could ever trust to conduct business. Very reminiscent of car dealer poor reputations. The dealership owner became involved and his comment and concern was that he was loosing money - not much concern over loosing a customer. No harm no foul - another vehicle was found at another dealer and I am even slightly more pleased with the deal.

I leased my Civic with the dealer and went on to buy it before the 3 year lease was up. I had brought it in a few months ago for the back wheel bearings to be replaced and the service guy wasn't very helpful. When I called to check the status of the service in the afternoon, since he had told me he would call before noon, he was unable to "find" my car. Obviously that wasn't reassuring. The wheel bearings were replaced under the Power Train warranty and I was satisfied with the work, not the experience. I brought my car in this time for the front bearings (still under warranty) and was told that it would be a $45 dollar diagnostic fee just to look at the car. If the car is under warranty I shouldn't be charged a diagnostic fee...it's pretty simple. Not happy, wouldn't recommend, and definitely won't be returning.

Having dealt with many different dealerships, I was pleasantly surprised with this one. Everyone seemed genuine and professional. They truly care about the customer and are not just looking to make a deal.

I just leased my third Pilot from Lamacchia, and this is the seventh or eighth vehicle I've purchased or leased from them over the years. Each and every time my expectations have been exceeded - the sales reps are always knowledgeable, the trade-in values are fair, and I always feel like I'm getting a good deal. They make the entire car buying experience a pleasant one. Their service department is top-notch too, and I'd never take my Hondas anywhere else for service.

This was my first new car purchase and I was very pleased with Lamacchia! My sales representative was great! He wasn't the typical sales person who pushes you to make a decision. I was able to take my time and have all my questions and concerns answered! I ended up with a beautiful car and a great deal! We bought two new Honda's last year at this dealer. Just traded one in for a New 2013 Honda Accord EX-L 4 door sedan. Love the car and highly recommend this dealer. I have been to this dealership twice. I leased a 2011 Honda Accord last year. I was so happy with the first purchase that I just went and leased a Honda Civic Hybrid for my girlfriend. I could not be happier with them and I cannot wait to get my hands on that new Accord in February of 2014!!

I brought my car in for a shake felt in the steering wheel. My husband changed all pads and rotors a month ago with $800 of high end brakes from Napa. The shake was there months before the brakes were changed and still the day after he changed them. We finally decided to bring the car for diagnosis because it is still under warranty. The service manager so much as TOLD my husband he did NOT take the brakes off or check the calibers but they still charged us the $100 to look at the car. This is the 3rd and LAST time I will deal with Lamacchia Honda in Syracuse, NY. They do NOT LISTEN to their customers, they make their own judgements with out looking at the car, they do not have an once of truthfulness in them.

Look elsewhere For good repair service. Paid diagnostic fee, questioned repair action, dealer refused repair work & kept fees w/out explanation. Not the level of service you'd expect from taking care of your auto.

I've been using this dealership for the maintainence and repair job of my Honda for more than three years. Not because I like it, the reason I go to it is only that the other Honda dealership (Hondy City, in Liverpool, NY) is too far from where I live (in Syracuse). The quality work is very bad. When they fix one problem, there are always new problem occuring around where they did the work. I became very suspicious about their quality of work. I have wrote these in the survey to Honda, and really hope that there is another Honda dealer in or more closer to the South and East side of Syracuse.Their price is OK, but overall I strongly recommend NOT to go there if you have any other choice. They just create problems and keep you coming back. It is either their technicians are very bad, or that (I hope this is not true) they have the habit of keeping the car with new problems.
