We usually don't like the new car buying experience. We want to be told the absolute best price and the absolute best rate if financing through Ford, but usually there is a game of negotiation where the salesman tries to get the most out of the customer without chasing him off. We hate that and left another dealership because that was what was going on, even to the point of the salesman asking us what would he have to offer to keep us from leaving, and when we told him, he said, "can we split the difference?" We didn't answer, we just left and will never go back. At Jarrett-Gordon, our salesman was open, honest at quick. He gave us one quote. We thought about it and agreed. Same with then proposed interest rate. We had a cheaper rate, but he didn't offer to beat it. We had told him that would kill the deal for us. So, we bought the car with our financing, and we will shop here again when it's time for another car.

The person who initially did the paperwork wasn't clear about the addition of a charge for rotating the tires when I was there for an oil change. I specifically said the only way I wanted the tires rotated was if that was included with the "free" oil change I had earned. He added it in and when I was ready to leave I found out there was a charge for it. The young lady who checked me out took the charge off. Otherwise all was good.

Greated by a nice young man when I walked toward front door. Was going to check on vehicle and price only, and did not intend to purchase until later. Ended the visit by driving home at 4: pm, with a 2016 mustang convertible. Exactly what I came to see, at a price that I found to be the best in the Orlando and Tampa Bay Area markets. I can't believe about mileage7,500 to change oil service cause bad black dirty oil destroy motor No way. David was great! The appraisal was fair, but about what I expected. I still disagree with the $599. Dealer fee. Its really Dealer profit. If $600 more is needed, add it to the cost of the car. The paper work, especially on a cash deal, took way, way too long. However, they were all very friendly and yes, should they have a car I would want in the future, I would go back again.

We made the deal over the phone Monday night. We set the time to come in at 3:00 the next day. We faxed the insurance information, registration and license to the salesman to make it go even quicker. My wife and I arrived at 2:50. The salesman said there was one deal ahead of us but we should be out quickly. We finally got in to see the financial person at 5:15. The salesman blamed the financial person. The financial person blamed the salesman for not knowing how may deals were being done that day. We did not finance the truck. We paid cash. My wife took off work to be there at 3:00. She could have worked until 4:30.There needs to be better coordination between salesmen and financial personnel. The salesman was professional. The financial person was kind and courteous. We spend 3 hours waiting, where we should have been out in an hour.

I recently traded in my F-150 XLT for a new 2016 F-150 Lariat and had a very good buying experience. My salesman was Fred "Cowboy" Pollard. He was very knowledgeable and very cordial; NOT the stereotypical high pressure saleman at all. He took a genuine interest in helping me find and purchase EXACTLY what I was looking for and worked with me to keep it in my desired price / payment range. Luis Montenegro was the Business Manager who found a lender to was able to meet my desired rate, terms, pymt amount, etc. Following the securing of the sale, he went through in detail the numerous additional options in terms of extended service plans, gap insurance, protection plans, etc. which were available to me. Both members were very friendly, professional, and helpful. This, in combination with nothing but good visits to their service department with my previous F-150 for routine maintenance, working with service advisors Toy and Mike makes this an overall Great Dealership to work with and continue to return to for maintenance services.

Just purchased a 2009 Ford Focus from Jarrett Gordon Ford in Davenport, FL.I previously had my heart set on a Nissan Versa; a friend of the family suggested we stopped by Jarret Gordon Ford to see their selection.The little Focus had just been brought in as a Trade-in and hadn't even been detailed yet. Taking it for a test drive I automatically fell in love with the car and was eager to take it home with me as soon as possible.Despite having trouble with my bank approving the loan for the car, Oliver J. Howard worked his magic to get the priced knocked down to where my bank finally agreed to approve the car. The next day I was able to take the car home, cleaned up, tuned up and I couldn't be more thrilled with my decision! I purchased a small, new cargo van. I had priced it at three other dealerships, and the out-the-door price was significantly better at Jarrett Gordon.Unfortunately, the van had a dead battery and it took WAY TOO LONG to get it running. Apparently it required a new battery. It took almost 90 minutes to figure out the problem and fix it, which seemed a bit much. Salesman Dalton Sloan was extremely helpful. Business Manager Luis Montenegro was most efficient, and explained every available option to me in great detail. Used car manager and others were very helpful and got in tune with what I wanted to do right away. Several employees seemed too preoccupied with preparing holiday decorations, which impeded their timely acknowledgment of my arrival, but it got sorted out fairly quickly.I noticed the owner was in the showroom several times during my visit. This is a HUGE PLUS, in my opinion. Too many dealers take a hands-off approach to how the dealership is run. Mr. Gordon is, I'm sure, successful because he pays attention to what's going on at his facility. All in all, a very positive experience.

Would like to see more things in the waiting room area to do. You had a tv there playing movies and miss that this time. All that was there was a TV playing the news. I did had time to walk the lot. I saw that you had a big selection. What I didn't see was a big selection of trucks. Trucks like F-250, F-350 or SUVs. Ford Explorers or Escapes. Don't know if the market or area. With dealership being right of I4 and near by camping grounds would of like to see more vehicles like that.

I originally came in for service using the Quick Lane for my oil change. Two hours for oil change and to rotate the tires is a bit excessive. While killing time I met David Carrion (Salesman). He explained the expansion plan of the service/body shop area due to high volume business demand. I ended up trading in my truck that day thanks to David. His product knowledge, friendly/non-pushy manner made the buying experience enjoyable. This time, I scheduled an appointment and it still took 1 hour. The two representatives who helped me were nice and joked with each other and me and made me feel at ease there. I have used you guys for years but this was the first service on my Escape and really the only complaint I have is that I had a 10 dollar service credit that wasnt applied to my tire rotation...The oil change was free because it was this cars first but i paid 18.88 for the tire rotation that could have been 8.88 if my credit was applied. Maybe these benefits could pop up when a service person pulls up an account? Obviously everyone is on a budget and as a single mom myself 10 dollars can mean a lot. I will continue to use Jarrett Gordon for all of my needs and tell my friends and family to do the same. Also I never got to review my salesperson Ray at the time of purchase but he really listened to my ordeal and helped me get out of a bad spot with another dealership taking advantage of me, great salesperson and a very nice and genuine man. Service on the vehicle was good, but the full detailing package was not. We dropped our vehicle at 7:00am and it was not ready by the end of day because service manager stated the detailing did not meet their standards. When we picked it up the next morning there were still issues so they kept the car longer. Service manager apologized and gave us a full refund and we picked up the car later on day 2. The service recovery was appropriate for inconvenience which is way I gave 4 star rating

We brought our F350 in for repairs that we thought would cost hundreds and got the car oil change while there. Mike is the very, very best service rep ever. We trust him and he is always spot on with recommendations. He recommended a cabin filter change, we did, and I've noticed immediate improvement in allergy issues I was having in the car. John is a fabulous diesel mechanic and we take the F350 only to him...its 23 miles from our home. He fixed the AC, Made a couple other repairs, and we only spent a couple hundred dollars. We won't go to any other dealership but Jarrett Gordon.

David called me and told us that someone else was looking at the one car but I could not get in any sooner thus I was forced to test just the 1 car since the other one was sold. Time was an issue for me in getting a car or else we would of went else where. My wife and I have been for owners for 60 years, so you can thank David and Nelson for the fact that we were able to still find something.

2010 Red Lincoln MKZ.The dealership had the exact car on the lot that I had been searching for and had about given up being able to find one in this area. Even though I had never driven or even riden in a Lincoln MKZ, I have owned enough Lincolns in my lifetime that I knew the quality, performance, and comfort would also be in the MKZ. I really love driving the car and almost feel like a celebrity when I am driving around. I have always used Jarrett Gordon Ford for all my maintenance on my Edge. This is where I purchased the vehicle and I feel that Jarrett Gordon will do the best to keep my beautiful Edge in tip top condition. My only disappointment the last time I brought my car in was that due to a promotion by the dealership I was unable to get my vehicle washed. I will definitely return for the next oil change and any other maintenance that needs to be done.

The service performed by your service department is always top notch.. Would not think of taking my ford anywhere else. The service your warranty department refused to cover is what disappoints me. The hood of my 2013 explorer is showing rust spots. It's clearly a defect when the hood was dipped in production and something got missed. Since my vehicle has 392?? miles it is 3000 miles past warranty coverage and not covered... I purchased the vehicle in Oct 2014 - so my 12 month warranty was expired by a month and a half. NOT HAPPY with that situation...

I took my Mustang for its first oil change. Quick Lane had a two hour wait time. I made an appointment for 2:30 and left to run errands. I returned at 2:25. We waited for oil change and tire rotation. We left the dealership at 4:00. It was a very long wait for routine maintenance. The staff was really nice, but the wait time was very disappointing.

My 2014 Ford Focus had a slow leak in one of the tires. I explained the situation, handed in my keys and in less then an hour my tire was taken care of. In the past whenever I have a problem with my car it is taken care of quickly. The staff is always polite and professional.

Everyone was curtious and polite and the timing was great and fast. The only think I miss was the special treatment that some dealers use to do when you bring your car they vaccum it. Many places stopped doing that but it was a nice touch.

We purchased a 2016 Ford Mustang 5.0 GT with the Performance Package. The entire experience was very low pressure, very friendly, as if, two friends came together to discuss a point of common interest. I initially called the dealership and talked to Caty, Internet sales, over the phone a few days before my visit to the dealership. Caty was extremely knowledgeable concerning the car I was initially interested in, and ultimately did not purchase, she diligent to obtain answers to my questions and returned my call with answers over a 3-4 hour time frame. I made an appointment to come to the dealership on a day Caty was off. She didn't blow me off until her next work day, she set my appointment with Dave Hoffman. Dave was a great salesman to work with during the process of buying a car. I have purchased many cars over 40+ years, and I can say this is the most friendly and fair treatment I have ever received. I have, on occasion, found myself in a high stress negotiation and even shouting at the salesman before walking out. In general, car purchasing, is well known to the public to be confrontational and at least stressful at times. At Jarrett, we were treated with respect and like a friend. We traveled 80+ miles to Jarrett because I was getting blown off by my local dealerships during my initial phone contacts with them, but Caty was the complete opposite on the phone. So I kept the appointment with David Hoffman and it was worth the 80 mile trip one way. I would recommend Jarrett Gordon Ford to my friends and family and most importantly I will return there to buy another car. I can not close this review without mentioning the finance associate Gary, who was as laid back a guy I have ever worked with. He took his time and explained all the various options to complete the purchase to my satisfaction. This is a great team at a great dealership. And the drive home in that Pony was worth the trip to the dealership too.

My visit at 38000 miles was complete and appreciated. I was concerned coming vs. my last visit at Approximatele 30,000 miles. Why, at that time I was told I needed a trans flush,wheel balance,cabin filter and fuel filter. Knowing what was in my service schedule I rejected the advice fron your service. Rep. On my current service in question I had normal service without the multi needs for service that I received at 30,000 miles.I was also pleased to see that your service rep that tried to sell me not needed service is gone.I called Ford in Detroit after that 30,000 mile service,which included the numerious additional needs for service,and they advised me that this service was NOT required regardless of climate etc.Enough said since that rep is gone which for the time being has renewed my trust in Jerrett as I gave been a customer for the last 13 years.

I went into the dealership for my 20,000 mile checkup.in the driveway I was greeted by a service representative who took my keys and advised me to make contact with a representative inside. I did and told him what I needed. He looked up my name and advised me I had a free oil change and that would include a free tire rotation. In about 35 minutes my car was ready and I was on my way. I thought that was very nice that he informed me about the free tire rotation was included with the free oil change. I've been to many auto service department and I'm not sure any of them would've done that. This is the third Ford that I've had serviced at Jarrett Gordon Ford and I've always been treated courteously and quickly.

I took my son's SUV into get a simple oil change. The tech came out with the air filter torn in two pieces and said I need a new one. No on has touched the air filter since the last oil change except Jarret Ford Service techs. Hmmmm suspicious? When I told them I would get one myself and replace it they decided to unplug the air sensor. I drove from my friends in south Winter Haven to the Ford dealership with out the SUV having one issue. As soon as I drove off the lot it was chugging a little and actually died when idling at a light. That is dirty business....did they think I wouldn't have another mechanic look at it. AVOID DOING BUSINESS WITH JARRETT FORD they are all about breaking your car so they can make more money off you, Its almost bait and switch...get you in for a cheap oil change, but you need $100's of other work done as well..

I was very informed the whole time I was at the dealer! I went in there and let them know I had bad credit and they were able to help me finance a brand new 2015 Ford Fusion. Everyone in the dealer was friendly, and they kept me informed throughout the entire process. I've recommended this dealer to 3 people so far, and all of them have been able to buy as well! Many dealers brag about how easy they make the buying process for a new car, yet few actually deliver on that promise. Our experience with Jarrett Gordon Ford was definitely enjoyable. Even though we gave them a lofty price target (new car price minus trade-in value), they delivered. But the thing that really set them apart was the service "after the sale". A few days after the sale, we had an issue that the salesman did not have the authority to resolve. He immediately put us in touch with the General Manager, Nelson. We have dealt with many car dealers over the past several years and can honestly say that we have never met a dealership so quick to address our concerns and get them fixed. This is the sign of a dealership and management that genuinely cares if you buy a vehicle from them.We encourage anyone that is looking for a new Ford vehicle - put Jarrett Gordon Ford on your "short list".As for their service department - we have used them several times before and always been happy with the speed and professionalism of the work.

David Carrion was our salesman, who although new to the Jarrett Gordon family worked hard and long, and even came in on his day off to make this transaction happen for us.... I told him how much I wanted for a trade in and how much I wanted to pay for the explorer and he came back $1,000 under that number. Great honest people up there. Called to make sure the truck was still there and it was. No tricks or gimicks like manditory Scotchguard were used. Smooth purchase with no delays other than what should be expected on any sale where the Government has interest. (Tag, title, etc.) Much better than the Mercedes Benz, GM and BMW dealership treatment I've had. I'm sure I will use them again .

My experience was refreshing. I was surprised not to be bombarded by the sales people when I arrived. I had been looking at new cars for about 3 months. Other dealerships seemed pushy. Ray was most helpful and knowledgeable about the Fusion that I was interested in. The whole process from start to finish only took about 2 hours. No hassles. Oliver was a pleasure to work with on the finance part. I would recommend this dealer.

Don't wast your time at any of the Jarrett Ford dealerships. I was trying to throw my money at them to buy a new car and instead got one of the absolute worst experiences for an attempt at buying a vehicle at Jarrett Ford in Davenport and communications with their sister dealership Jarrett Gordon in Dade City. Unprofessionalism at its worst. Salesman (Xavier) has zero product knowledge does not know how to treat and engage customers. While leading us to cars he actually walking in front of us and left my wife lagging behind. This and the exchange and the lack of courtesy in emails and the unprofessionalism to return a response of email with the "New Car Director" Michael Kline are all reasons to take your business somewhere else. I took their price to another dealer and got the exact price that I offered on exact color combination I wanted. Shows you I was not being unreasonable and was just actually offering Jarrett their advertised price on a different colored car. I got the exact same color and everything that Jarrett had but didn't want to sell me because apparently the thought that my offers were unreasonable (their price) and Ford might get to a point where incentives will help the "Value exceeded the price". Other dealership didn't think so and I ended up buying a new car that had just arrived off 2 days earlier and had not even been prepped. If Jarrett has the lowest advertised price, take it to another dealership and they will honor it as long as it is exactly the same equipped vehicle. I did and I am very happy. Night and day experience with the other dealership. Knew their product and was easy and they were willing to take my money. Only wished I had gone to the other dealership in the first place and saved me the aggravation. Did get a call from Mike and he apologized....after I sent him an email advising I would be telling others of my experience.
