Very positive experience with this dealership. Went in to test drive the new (and very much in-demand) F-pace. It ended up being a bit more car than I wanted at this point. Worked with Will. Nice, kind, low-key and patient. Next time I went in it was to test drive an Audi Q5 they had on the lot as a trade-in. I'd done my research on the car. This time worked with Sam, another extremely knowledgable and helpful guy. Both salesmen were low key, low pressure, and patient - just what you look for in the experience of buying a car. I did my comparison research and test drives of other vehicles, and decided to purchase the Audi Q5. Went in for a repeat visit, negotiated a price that was fair to both parties, completed the paperwork and drove away same day in a freshly washed, already detailed car. Again, no hard sell for extras, and very helpful people throughout the process and in the finance office as we paid. Now a word about the GM, Chris Smith, who had said a friendly hello to me on my first visit in there. As I drove home in the vehicle, I noticed a small chip in the windshield that I hadn't seen before. Turned around and drove back, and was personally assured by Chris Smith that all I had to do was call him, and he'd have it fixed. This is service with a smile, all the way round. Can't recommend them highly enough. Buying a car is time consuming and can be stressful at the wrong dealerships. This is one of the right dealerships, both for Jaguar and Land Rovers, and for the other top drawer cars they often have on their lot as trade-ins. Nice people, low key, low stress experience, fair prices and good treatment. I'd recommend them to everyone, and indeed, just shared my experience with my neighbor who's headed there next week.

I had a wonderful experience at Jaguar of West Columbia. They were very patient helping me choose the right car. Gary Pridgeon was very through in showing me how to use all the features of my new car. Chris Smith and Steve Kenlythe mangers did a great job. Joe Procia did my fiance paperwork he was very easy to work with. If you want a nice experience without high pressure this is the place to go.

We were greeted and introduced to Larry S. He was very busy that day we were there, but still put us first and really took his time with us. He wanted to make sure that we were getting what we wanted and at the best deal. He was not pushy or trying to sell us a car that we didn't want. The finance manager Cryus was nice, funny and made the sale go smoothly. We were in and out quickly and really love our new car.

I have never been so upset and been disrespected. Don't ever go to this dealership. I just came back and had the worst experience because of the general manager (Chris Smith). I had to change my tire and the tow truck took it yesterday. They didn't even take a look at it until this morning. They called my dad saying it was ready at 2:02 p.m. and when we went to go pick it up at 2:21 p.m., they said my car went in the car wash and to wait 30 minutes. We waited almost 2 hours without being informed of where my car was or what was going on. Life happens, and we aren't upset about the wait. WHAT WE ARE UPSET ABOUT is the attitude and the way the manager talked to me and my mom. He handed the key over to the receptionist without even saying sorry. There was no apology and he was getting irritated with me and talked down to me. I told him that he shouldn't be talking to me like that as a manager, and he said he is irritated, holding back, and he could talk to me like that. It was our first time here, and we love the car, but we are NEVER coming back here. It may be the way that we were dressed, but you should never talk to your customers like that if you are the general manager. I will be talking to the headquarters and get this straightened out.

Brought an Infiniti car last Tues. Sat I hear rattling noise. I was told to bring car in and ask for Jeff-pre owned manager. I get there. He wasn't there. They had to call jim on cell to get an ok to look at the car. Then give it back saying it will cost 2 hours of diagnostic time to look at this car. Since it's under factory warranty take it to Infiniti. Customer service was poor. Nothing like when I purchased the car. So basically they patched up this noise enough to sell and don't want to fix it. Waste of my time. I will never refer or buy another vehicle from any Jim Coleman dealership. I have never had this problem.

At the salesman's insistence, I changed my plans to come right out to look at a 2009 SL 500. After test driving a car, the salesman promised to check out the possibility of a trade-in and then talk about a deal. After that I received numerous emails from him begging me to come out and test drive the SL 500. I replied saying I had and was waiting on trade-in numbers so we could discuss a deal, but never got a specific response. Instead, I kept getting the emails begging me to come test drive a car I had already driven. Obviously, the dealership can't keep track of its business, or they weren't interested in mine. Either way, I was not impressed.

Chris in the service department was very professional and quite attentive. He got me into the garage immediately and he notified me as soon as it was ready. The technician seemed highly capable and knowledgeable. I am very confident getting my Land Rover serviced at Jim Coleman where I purchased the vehicle. What a relief. Not only was Jerry Cave at West Columbia the very first to get back to me on my initial inquiry, he was also eager to find me the car I would want. As I mentioned, I was very picky on the options I needed but this was no problem for Jerry at all. Even though they did not have the specific car on the lot, he was able to quickly locate it at another dealership and place it on hold for me while we worked out the price. Other dealers wasted time trying to persuade me to buy from their inventory while Jerry was interested in selling me the car that would make me happy. Even better, I was able to handle all of the negotiations over the phone and email, so I never had to make wasted trips to the dealer. Jerry responded to every inquiry, going so far as to send me pictures of window stickers so that I could verify included options. Once we had a deal, I finally drove over to the dealership and it was just a matter of paperwork. The entire process was remarkably easy. "But," you might say, "that all sounds fairly straight forward. You negotiated a price and paid for a car and they sold it to you, surely that is the baseline expectation. Is that really worth five stars?" And I agree, that should be the very least a dealer will do. But the reason West Columbia gets five stars from me is because of the extra care they showed in making me happy. When there was an unfortunate delay in shipping my car from the other dealership (due to no fault of West Columbia), Jerry and Chris Smith went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and to leave me a very satisfied customer. Do your research (you're already online and reading this, so good start!). And when you know what you want, I trust Jerry, Chris, and West Columbia to find a way to make it happen. P.S. The Evoque is wonderful, of course. But this is a review of the dealer, and anyway of course the Evoque is great! Just look at it!

It was nice to experience great customer service at this location after my first land rover purchase since I had not received it at the location I purchased it at (Albany, NY); which left me very frustrated and disappointed with their service and attitude. If you can let Land Rover know that the Albany, NY location deserves a poor rating on my behalf, please do. I will NOT be going back to them. I purchased my very first Jaguar in March. My buying experience with Chris Smith and Steve Kenly was very professional and stress-free. My sales guide Wills knowledge of the Jaguar XF was very informative and he helped me set up my phone and other customized items in the car, like the seat position and steering wheel position. Another sales guide Mike informed me about Jaguars free roadside assistance and I saved money by cancelling my AAA membership. My budget loved that! I LOVE driving my Jaguar XF every day; the car is quite good looking especially my color - sapphire blue, and I do notice a lot of people looking at it. I am very happy with this car! I recently purchased a certified pre owned LR here and had a great experience. I worked with Will Tate who was exceptional at explaining what was covered in the warranty and what wasnt. I work till 6:30pm and therefore wasn't able to get to the dealership till 7pm. By the time the deal was complete I drove off in my new car at 10:30pm. Despite the late hours, the GM and other sales guy stayed until everything was complete. I got more than a fair price on my trade in and was very happy with the price of the car I bought. Will Tate followed up a few days later to see if I had any questions and if there was anything else I needed help with. This is the second car I bought in the past 10 months and wish I would have come here first. Definitely would recommend to friends and family.

Run away fast before you buy anything at this place! It started out as a nice experience when purchasing and trading in my cars but it quickly turn into the worst nightmare! I traded two cars with what I thought was a good deal but the financial people kept trying to railroad me in to buying worthless extra warranties in which I had to emphatically say No!!! before they would quit. It took them several hours to finish the process. Far too long for anyone and they did not completly detail the car. I was told to bring it back and when I did, the saleperson wasn't there so I had to leave the car. When I picked it up nothing was done to except that they turned off the service light that came on indicating that I needed service. The service center is the worst! I literally waited all day for my car to be serviced and the service person lied about what needed to be done and the cost. When I returned he jacked up the price claiming that this is the price he told me and got nasty when I told him it wasn't what he said. My car was there starting at 8:00 a.m. in the morning and when I called to check around 3:00 pm, no one answered the phone so I drove down to pick it up around 5:00pm and it still wasn't ready. At 6:00 pm it was sitting at the end of the wash line. Ridiculous! I took the car at that point and left. Redundant services were done without my approval and the simplest things weren't like topping off fluids. Beware! Steer clear of these vultures. They are nothing but crooks.

I WAS DUMB AND DID A CARFAX REPORT MONTHS LATER AFTER STARTED HAVING PROBLEMS ,THIS CAR WAS BOUGHT AND SOLD IN FLORIDA TWO TIMES SO THAT SDALES MANAGER HAD A HELL OF A COMMUTE AND SOLD IT TO HIMSELF BECASE I WAS TOLD HE WAS THE ONE AND ONLY OWNER.ive had the car a year now and now the paint is pealing because its been in a accident and cheap paint was used and is starting to peal.Ive bought many cars and this is the first time i got ripped and boy did i get ripped..First oil change after 4 months was told the car had major oil leak ..I feel like i went to a junk lot wth a major BRAND NAME ASSOCIATED/

Bought Lexus from this place ,what a mistake first i was lied to and told the sales manager traded the car in ,did a carfax report after all my issues wasnt the truth car was transfered up from florida and had two owners, I was told i would get a call about a second key ,called about 15 times and left messages had my money so no need to call back. I guess,I had the car a year now im noticing paint pealing in the front car was in a major accident and whomever painted it used really cheap paint that looked good but was temporary.I guess it was my fault for not having the car checked,I would never buy anything from this dealer again,by far the worst buying experience Ive ever had ,they give a used car experience a bad name..BUYER BEWARE TRUST ME..I forgot to also include the car had a major oil leak realized that after 4 months went to get my first oil change and there was no oil in the car.I should have went on 29 and let my 35 k go up in the air same thing didnt anything for my money but problems.

Service dept fail. Recommend hiring competent people. I've seen the same people come and go in the service department. They obviously have no training. It's takes them too long to diagnose vehicles. They look dazed and confused. Recommend hiring people with experience.

I just purchased a 2010 RR Sport from these guys. They had a good enough selection and good prices. They worked with me and matched Carmax's appraisal of my trade in (though this too a little bit of back and forth). Overall I'd give them an "A". I think the purchase process could be a little bit quicker but all said, I knew which car I wanted when I arrived, and I was in and out in about 3 hours.

I WENT TO THIS DEALER SHIP ON THE 14TH OF THIS MONTH AT 5:45 PM. I INTENTION WAS TO PURCHASE A NEW RANGE ROVER. I WAS THERE WITH MY TWO KIDS. WE WERE WALKING AROUND AND LOOKING AT CARS AT DISPLAY. WHOEVER WAS WORKING THERE DIDNT CARE TO ASSIST OR ASK IF WE NEEDED HELP. IT WAS LIKE IF WE DIDNT EVEN MATTER. THEY KEPT ON WALKING AROUND AS. VERY DISAPPOINTED, WILL NEVER GO THERE AGIAN AND I LIVE 6 MILES AWAY.

I eventually went to the Land Rover dealer in Rockville and bought one the week later. I then took it to Jim Coleman for some service work and they totally missed the idea of customer service. The first thing they ask you is where did you buy the car. Does this really matter? It new, its under warranty. Jerks all the way around from the service guys to the GM who just sits in his office and acts like he a job to do when in fact no none is on the dealership. No one is even in the service department. Drive the extra 30 minutes to Rockville or Annapolis and get what you deserve from a better dealership.

I purchased a Land Rover Sport and found the staff to be outstanding. I hate buying a car but they made the whole process easy. I also had the same experience with the service department when I added running boards and roof rails to my car. I highly recommend this dealership

Got a good price on a new car purchase. Easy to deal with. Very direct in approach. Had a couple of issues delivery of the vehicle but they "stepped up" and resolved all the problems. Not every transcation is flawless and the character of the dealer shined through in their willingess to correct any problems.

I have purchased two RR sports from this dealership and have had a very positive experience on both occasions. General Manager Chris, sales Manager Steve, my sales person Gary all went out of their way to ensure my satisfaction. I had a small mechanical issue with my second RR Sport that I bought, and the team at Jim Coleman went out of their way to make sure that I was not inconvenienced while my car was in the shop. Each time that I bring my car in for service, I have a complimentary rental car waiting for me and I am on my way. These guys really know that it is service and people that keep customers satisfied and coming back to the dealership. I would buy my next Land Rover vehicle from Jim Coleman of West Columbia, absolutely!

A recent morning, I had to make an unplanned visit to dealer. Service manager listened to my description of problem and arranged for a tech to immediately check car's computer for stored codes. Tech determined battery was likely cause of problem and installed a new one. I was in/out in about an hour....which included unpacking and repacking a very full trunk! Willingness to help in an ''emergency'' situation was outstanding. Tech was careful with all that he took out of trunk (I re-packed it) and he explained how battery was the problem. Previous visits to this dealer for routine service have also been pleasant. I'll continue to bring my business to them....and recommend them to others.

My experience with the staff at Jim Coleman Land Rover was actually pleasant and stress free. Not something one can say when purchasing a car. I don't like going to dealerships and I don't like talking to salesman. The initial contact which was the receptionist (unfortunately I forgot her name)was very pleasant and professional. She directed my call to Artie (salesman)who was professional, attentive and friendly. During my visit, I was asked by at least 3-4 other people in the dealership if I was being helped. After we came to terms with a proce,the rest of the process went like clock work. Jeanne and Jeff processed the necessary paperwork sent me on my way. Customer service is not always measured by what you see. It is the things that are done when the customer is not there. There was an issue with the vehicle mirrors that had to be fixed before I would agree to terms. This was Saturday night and service is gone. Steve and Artie promised me they would make arrangement to have this done at their Infiniti dealership the following week. There was nothing written just a handshake. They made the arrangements and that is where I met Dennis who provided me with great service with fitting me in and fixing the problem. Friendliness is something that cannot always be taught. The staff at Jim Coleman I believe is genuinely friendly. Everyone I encountered was professional and eagar to help. Artie, who I spent the majority of time with made the process very comfortable and stress free. He is one salesman that I would talk to when I want to buy another car.
