Our experience with Honda of Denton and Ronny Walker was absolutely amazing. We had stopped in to to get an idea of what we wanted and decided on the 2016 Civic Touring. We started the process on a week day and had to leave before we came to terms. Ronny kept in touch as life got in the way (my wife was hospitalized for a week). Ronny stayed in touch with us and continued to negotiate via email and phone. Once we were able to get back to the dealership, we had a deal and ready to sign. Ronny and the rest of the dealership family were fantastic and a pleasure to work with. We will definitely be back for the next vehicle.

Jack Manin was quick to respond to our online inquiry to find a used Honda Pilot or Odyssey. He lined up two cars to test drive and explained the selling points on each model. We decided on the Odyssey and he walked us through the buying process. We negotiated with Mark Phillips and we feel like he made us a good deal. We love our car and the Honda of Denton experience. We were shopping for family car (Honda Odyssey EX-L) in some other dealerships and had some unpleasant experience. When we walked in to Honda of Denton (TX) we were met by Luis Alvarez. who was very nice, courteous, most importantly not pushy , friendly and cooperative. Managers that we met , including the general manager worked with us trying to meet our wishes, budget, and preferences in color. Our paper work went within very reasonable time . We have now purchased 2 vehicles from Honda of Denton! Our newest purchase, the Honda Civic was purchased less than one year after we purchased our Honda CRV from Denton Honda. This repeat purchase undoubtedly reinforces the trust we have with this dealership and the Honda product.JP our sales consultant was great, as was Maher (sp?) with whom we made our first purchase. JP made it easy for us to finalize the Civic deal, great follow up and made us a priority when the window film on one window needed to be replaced. I was happy to find out they have a lifetime replacement. The service team is outstanding, quick and thorough. Just a week ago my wife called at 4pm on a Friday afternoon to find out if she could get an oil change that same afternoon! Their response was come on in, well make it work. The oil change along with the car wash was completed in a very professional and timely fashion. And yes, that was the day I decided to replace my older car with a Honda Civic (outstanding service does pay off!).* * * * * Denton Honda gets five stars from us.

Upon having the oil changed and general checkup a couple of weeks ago, the service representative recommended both a brake flush and transmission fluid replacement. Since we've got a long trip upcoming, I made an appointment and brought it in for service. They completed the work in less time then they approximated and the waiting room experience was just fine. The service representative kept me up to date on the progress and our car was washed parked conveniently for an easy exit. I would definitely recommend this dealership and service center to friends and family.

Went in for an oil change, which i initially thought of doing somewhere closer to my place and perhaps cheaper, but i don't regret my decision to drive a few more miles to Honda of Denton. They took care of my car immediately, even without an appointment, while i waited in their fully equiped customer center, having a coffee while charging my phone. The representative was extremely helpful and even had my car washed at delivery at no charge. Even for such a basic and simple maintenance, i still recommend Honda of Denton, because i'm sure they're doing a good job, they know my car, and they're truly professionals in their customer service. Honda of Denton is awesome! Car dealerships give me anxiety because I've had some bad experiences in the past. However, everything I had experienced elsewhere is wrong and it doesn't have to be that way! Everyone we encountered seemed genuinely interested in helping us and not talking us into something we didn't want. No one debated with us, and when we said we didn't want more than just one or two extras we had our eye on already they didn't try to talk us into anything more in the business office.It was such a good experience with the first car, we immediately started looking at another and ended up buying a car for both my wife and I the same day! That was awesome. We'll be coming back in a couple years when my oldest turns 16, and again in the future when we adults are ready for new cars again!Robert Bolander, Mike Margulis and Jessica Vrska were all great!

Bought a 2017 Ridgeline and dealer add ons were not done but charged. #1 I do not like pinstiping stickers, the gunk up when a car is waxed. I contacted dealership about issue and asked that since the work was never done, could I get all weather mats in its place and was told it is an automatic bill that has already been paid and they could not get a refund from the pinstriping company. #2 another dealer add was window tinting and my front windows have no tint. I already know the answer I will get so I will take it and have tint done somewhere else.My initial impression of the dealership was quite positive, but has faded. I will not likely use this dealership for service. I do not know if all honda dealerships have the same or as expensive of add ons, but will tell friends to be wary of the add ons in Denton.

The sales executive, Matthew Cavitt made it very simple and easy to understand the sales and finance scenarios and provided us the best deal we asked for. He even got one of the rare color vehicle from another dealer within 48 hours and didn't charge any additional price for doing so while other dealers did ask for additional cost involved in shipping from another location. Prior to Saturday my car buying experiences have sucked! I've always left feeling like I was dealt with and in general disappointed. I had the pleasure of dealing with Robert Bolander, he's a great sales person. He was not pushy or your typical "used car salesman" type that I've encountered before. I had a GREAT experience at Honda of Denton. We made initial contact on Wednesday by phone with Denzel and he had us come in that evening and met the nicest guy Ronnie Walker. . I chose a color (Cosmic Blue Metallic) that was very hard to find but Ronnie found me one in two days and had it there to pick up on Saturday. Brandon Johnson the finance manager was great too. Great place. They have huge variety of cars available. I got one from here last month. Although salesman didn't had complete knowledge about car he's selling, but this thing was very seriously and well taken care by the General Manager. I have always hated buying cars. I would rather have a root canal, but after walking the sales lot and meeting Ronnie Walker I can now eat my own words. Ronnie was the most low pressured, caring, hard working sales associate I have ever dealt with! Only negative I would have to say is the process from after choosing the right car and negotiations to walking out with a new car is a very long process. I am now driving my third Honda purchased at this dealership. In the past, I have not been the most excited about their service department, but have continued to us it due to convenience. I just had my car in for service and it appears things have changed in that department. I believe my service advisor's name was Ali. He told me that he was new to the dealership but his knowledge did not give that away. He knew everything that was important to me about the services available and time expected for them to be completed. I mentioned that my state inspection is out next month and he advised me that they could take care of that for me as well - what a relief! That means I don't have to seek out a station to do that, drive to that location and wait more time for that to be done. They even washed my car - another thing I don't have to go do separately. Honda of Denton is my one-stop shop for my car. That means a lot to me when I have so little time to spend after work, family, etc. Thank you!

What an incredible experience I had at Honda of Denton yesterday! When I drove up to the lot, Mario Santos met us at our car in the parking lot and led us inside to get out of the 100 degree sun. Admittedly, I was rolling my eyes at my husband because I had wanted to browse outside on our own first, and everyone's heard stories of sales guys herding you inside and somehow talking people into getting brand new show room cars. This was not the case!! Mario ignored my initial eye rolling and bad attitude, got us inside out of the heat, offered us water, and wanted to make sure they had the cars I wanted to look at in stock. Sure enough, the cars I had been eyeing online had just been sold! These puppies go fast and after having driven them, I can see why! Mario was so helpful and willing to help in any way he could and my mood changed instantly. He knew my budget, and wasn't trying to put me in something I couldn't afford. He would keep going to the manager, Mayur Patel, to try and work out the numbers and make sure I was getting the deal I wanted. Once everything was approved, I went over to Finance with Brandon Johnson to sign everything. He was so helpful in explaining anything I had questions about. I never felt uncomfortable or like I had made a bad decision. I walked away happy with the deal I got! I'm so thankful for Mario, in sales, for working hard to make sure I was happy about everything, for Brandon, in finance, for making the signing process go smooth, and for Mayur, the manager, for approving the deal! I woke up this morning, looked out my window, saw a beautiful shiny new Honda outside, and squealed when I realized yesterday wasn't a dream! Thanks so much!

We had a great experience with Xris Turner at Honda of Denton. We inquired about a vehicle to see if it was still available and received an immediate response via email and text. Within about an hour he brought the vehicle to our house for a test drive. We were able to complete an application on the spot and borrow the car for the weekend while he took ours to assess the trade in value. Xriston responded to an internet inquiry about a car I was interested in. His followup was quick and persistent. I wasn't sure about it but I told him I'd get up there to look at the car. I went late in the day to look, because I didn't think anything would come of it. I was surprised! The experience was easy! He showed me the car, let me drive it w/o pressure, and asked if I wanted to buy it. We then started to negotiate. After some back and forth, we arrived at a price and I told him that I needed to be out fairly quickly (1 hour). We didn't quite make that, but we were close. Great dealing with him and the finance man (John?). I've rarely had this pleasant of an experience buying a car. If these folks have something you like, it's worth the effort to go and talk to them. Their Svc Mgr + Tech Team is organized, efficient, and max effective. We live in Keller, but we take our Honda vehicles to Honda of Denton for service for this reason. Josh White/Svc Mgr was the key. His knowledge of the Honda of Denton maintenance process and the capabilities of his tech team allowed him to set my expectations with precision. He was super flexible with regard to my time. He made outstanding recommendations, explained clearly, and prioritized them. He communicated throughout the process via my preferred communications means. Josh was aces at follow-up. Drop off and pickup were a breeze as was checkout - the receipt/work order was clear and easy to understand; Josh gave the outbrief at checkout. I have them serviced here - and I buy them here. This dealer had a great first impression with me. The car salesman was nice enough and everything went pretty smoothly with the test drive (minus the hour long wait to get the car ready, it was used). My main problem lies with the financing side. Now, I'll be honest, I was lucky to get any kind of financing but I put a significant amount down to help my chances. I was quoted a number and they did a great job of trying to get other banks to give me a better interest rate. I finally got a great (for me) interest rate through a reputable financial institution. They then brought the conversation around to the "warranty" segment. I was led to believe that the warranty was included in the price of the loan and not an added charge that was basically paid for by my down payment. This has lead to a higher-than-quoted monthly payment and a principal balance that I wasn't okay with. Sure, I can manage the payments but they really should have just tried to sell me the value of adding this warranty on. It's something I would have considered without it being shoved down my throat (which is exactly how I felt about this when I found out). Am I happy? No. Would I recommend this dealer? Not unless you're a seasoned car buyer (at least for used...).

I found vehicle on line that I liked that they had in stock, expressed my interest on line and received prompt reply with invitation to visit and speak with Salesperson. Brandon Cueller was my main contact/sales person and was professional, honest and made the process smooth and dare I say, tolerable. There was a little back and forth on negotiations, but I never felt pressured, disrespected, or deceived. It was as it should be in negotiating a purchase of this magnitude. We struck a deal, they committed to repairing a few minor dents in the rear part of the vehicle (used vehicle) and when I picked up the vehicle a couple days later, the dents were gone, good as new. I have been taking my CRV to Honda of Denton since my purchase of the vehicle. Their has never been the need or desire to take the car in to any other service center. The service has always been reasonable $, quick, and service associates have always been curtious and professional. Keep up the good work!

I took in my 2008 Element t have the drivers side air bag replaced and asked to have the car inspected. They did a good job getting the air bag replaced and completing the inspection quickly. After we discussed the findings they changing my oil, transmission and brake fluids. Jessica and a few others in the Honda of Denton Service Department took good care of me and my Ridgeline. It went in for brakes and to check out a noise that happened occasionally when turning. The guy called to tell me what was going on, he was patient with my questions. I appreciate that. Also they were nice enough to provide a loaner so I could get to a last minute appointment that morning. Kind of sneaky though as the loaner was a new car and i loved it - minivans have changed since my soccer mom days! But now I can't wait for the new Rudgeline to come out the end of this year!!!

I purchased my 2nd Honda Accord in November 2015 & was glad it was from this dealership. Ahmad Al Sheikhly (salesperson) & Mayur Patel (Manager) are the people that made this happen possible. I love the fact that they were transparent & informal in their approach. My vehicle was clean when delivered & have had no issues so far. I ended up giving the salesperson & the manager a big hug, I can tell that they were happy to earn my business as well. Did you also know that this dealership is one of few that offers lifetime warranty on the car? I would also like to recognize Hall Chapman (Service Director), although he was not directly involved in the sale of the vehicle, he is very nice to work with, I would trust my vehicle in his supervision because he is that great of a guy. Remember I mentioned that this is my 2nd Honda Accord? I purchased my first 2015 Honda Accord from McDavid Honda Frisco in October 2015 (a month prior). The vehicle had a dent at the quarter panel, the door jam's had finger nail scratches on the front & rear driver door, it took them 17 days to get the vehicle fixed. Their customer service manners vanished once the sales process was completed.It will be worth your drive to Denton at this awesome place, it is under new management from prior Jim Mcnatt Honda. Would definitely purchase another Honda from here

My situation was a bit difficult because I wanted a new Honda Civic but the car I had I was upside down a lot. (Due to needing a bigger vehicle when I become pregnant with my daughter) anyway I had gone to other dealerships and there was nothing anyone could do. Even Honda of Denton didn't think there was much they could do for me either. So I left was going to give up got a call 2 mornings later for the General manager himself Tharp which by the way is a very nice man. long story short he worked on getting me the car I wanted. And he gave me such a great deal that my car payment was actually cheaper then my car I was so upside down on. I don't know how Rob and he staff members where able to do everything they did for me when no one else could without huge down payment but the my sure did and I'm very happy with everything they did for me and I love my new car. Approached Honda of Denton with the intent to purchase a new 2015 Honda Accord for an agreed upon price excluding any finance offers. When my wife and I arrived at the dealership they had the vehicle ready for us to inspect to make sure everything checked out. When they brought price write up it was almost $3,000 more than what we agreed. They said there were several dealer adds that are on the vehicle which they did not mention in the initial conversations. In the end they honored our agreed upon price and even worked out the special APR that was being offered. The paper work takes time I understand but even with pre-approval of financing it took 4hrs, but they were polite courteous and extended their top tier service where they could. Overall good experience and would definitely recommend dealer to friends and family.

I normally handle any issues with our auto's however I was out of town when the check engine light came on on our 2014 Honda Accord. My wife was very reluctant to take the car in because of her past experience with other auto service centers. Josh White meet her and made her feel very comfortable. I was very nervous about taking it to a "dealer" but those worries were totally unfounded. All the folks there are super-friendly and make every visit so pleasant. My car is not only well serviced but washed every time I bring it in. I am very disappointed with Honda have owned Honda cars for over 25 years but no more...I had the air fixed on my 2008 CRV just a few months ago it quit working again- took it back they wanted to charge me another $110.00 to diagnose problem I told them I would take it to Tommy's in Denton if it was not the new part they had put on which cost me $224.00 - after checking and saying now the clutch and coil on compressor was bad they STILL WANTED TO CHARGE ME ANOTHER $110.00...Honda had extended the warranty because they knew this had a problem because of the design but it was for 7 years or 100,000 miles so I was told mine was out of warranty. I purchased this new in 2008 before that I had purchased a new 1999 Honda CRV before that I had 2 new accords. I thought about a new Honda HR-V now I think no way.... Not a good way to do business...

He gave me all of the information I requested and then left me alone when I explained that I was not quite ready. When the right time finally came, I emailed him and we purchased a 2013 Honda Odyssey from him within about 24 hours of making contact again. I have been researching for a good deal on a Honda Oddyssey for a while and yesterday I got an email from Honda of Denton about trade in above Edmunds trade in value so I went to the dealer and the General Sales Manager William Stalik was super rude. He told me that I was wasting his time and I was costing him money at this point because I have ask for the price before and I havent buy the car. He told me that he was there to sell cars not to make friends and that I was so cheap because I didnt want to pay the price that they were offering me with all the additional add-ons on the car. Then he told me that I wanted a car that I couldnt afford just for not agreeing with his price.Stay away from this place, they use bait and switch and most importantly they dont respect the customer specially the general sales manager.

Chris Ballard, the General Mgr of Honda of Denton met with me and was very attentive to my concerns and was extremely fair in his solutions. On May 1st I had the unique experience of buying a new Civic from Honda of Denton. This is the 4th Honda I've owned, and it has been many years since I've stepped inside a dealership. Like many, I would probably want to have a root canal than visit a car dealership, as I really did not know what to expect. Like the times, a lot has changed, including the car buying experience. The reality of the situation is Honda of Denton uses customer service and satisfaction as its core value, and focus. Was in the market for used cars for two teenage grandchildren and found a great selection of Honda Civics at Honda of Denton. The sales team was extremely professional and helpful throughout the process - specifically Chris and Jorge and they worked to get a car within our price range with low mileage. We hope to purchase another from them soon. Our biggest issue was with the finance representatives (we were paying cash for it) and the process took too much time and we had to wait and return several times - even on weekdays when they weren't busy. Finance representatives also did not return calls in timely manner. Could not identify the optimal way to communicate this on the scoring since this area is not called out in the rating. Regardless of the finance issue, we would purchase from them again because of the professionalism of the sales team and how easy they were to work with.

Great experience! Not gonna lie - I hate buying cars. I dread it - it's always such a hassle. Not here. I found a preowned car I was interested online and requested more information. I was contacted very quickly by Jorge Montemayor and was able to do an online quick finance tool so make it a smoother process. I made arrangements to come into the dealership but unfortunately, my schedule is ridiculous and I had to make several changes but none of my lack of time management curve balls threw them. Once there, I was greeted pleasantly and immediately asked what I needed. Stacy Jackson went over everything with me, went through all the car and financing information and answered all my questions. Amanda in the finance department made it quick and painless and Jennifer handled all the back and forth with trying to get me in and going. Overall a much better experience than I expected. I went to Honda of Denton with the expectation of getting a card for my wife. I had looked at one online, Civic EX-L, and spoke with Reagan and made an appointment for the following Monday. Jennifer then called me and I explained to her this was a gift for my wife and we had a very cordial conversation. I made my appointment on Monday and worked with Stacey. I chose a color that the store did not have. One was found and made available for me the same day. The part I always do like like came next and that was the finance part. But, that went very well even though it was little more than what I wanted to pay. The service was great, the people very friendly and the product of course speaks for itself. This makes my 5th Honda product that I have bought and it has always been great.

I was treated extremely poorly 2 separate times-about 1 month apart. I was talked down to and was treated like I had no clue what I was talking about and that I didn't understand "simple math". I had the salesman huff and puff when I told them no. I told them how much I could afford and they brought back quotes for way more than I could and then were upset when I asked for 12 hours [overnight] to think about it. Had an appointment to meet with a manager and he was not able to meet with me at said time. Had a Customer Service manager call the next day to "try and make it right" but when I explained the situation and told her that I had already bought another vehicle-I was hung up on.

They failed to repair a warranty brake problem on my 2013 Accord. They misdiagnosed the problem and didn't even check their service bulletins to notice a new part / repair procedure for this issue. Required a return trip to the dealership. They tried to make it right by giving me a free oil change even though it showed I still had 30% oil life. Regretfully I accepted their offer because they ended up charging me for the oil change too! I know it sounds like a miscommunication, but honestly was not the case.

I didn't even purchase my Honda CR-Z at this dealership, but after talking with Honda of Denton's service department I was so certain that they would take care of a battery issue I was having. I walked in and they got right to the diagnostic, found the problem, and got me state legal in less than an hour. I was shown around their showroom and got to know a little bit more about my car than I was ever expecting. Joshua in the service department was a wonderful help on the phone and Matt in the sales department was fun to talk to and wasn't pushy about me upgrading. Just an all around good experience. Honda of Denton was first and only dealer I visited due to the lifetime warranty they offer, and also a friend had recently had a great car buying experience with them. My intention was to trade in my 2011 GMC Yukon for an Accord Sport due to the enormous difference in fuel consumption. My salesman (Terrance) and I began to locate said car and found one in my preferred color which happened to be silver. I absolutely loved the accord and we began to work on the deal. After a pretty substantial period of time had passed and I had stated what I was willing/ able to do, it seemed the numbers were staying the same. I began to get annoyed and asked for the keys to the Yukon so I could leave. Looking back, I am very glad that Terrance did not oblige my request and tried one more time to accommodate me. At this time the owner/ manager of the dealership (Chris) came to the our aid and personally made the deal work. I picked up the car the following day. At closing, my finance manager (Shelby) was outstanding and made feel absolutely comfortable with my purchase. Their ability to turn what could have been a bad situation into a great one is why I will be back to Honda of Denton...

After an out of town trip, I discovered my a/c had quit working. I took my car to Honda of Denton. They found I had damage from road debris to the condenser of my car. Unfortunately, it was not covered under my warranty. My service a diver, Matt Gilpin let me know that the condenser damage might be covered under my car insurance and advised me to check with my insurance company. I took his advise and found out the collision with road debris was covered under my insurance. His information saved me over $500. I would not have known to investigate this if he had not mentioned this to me. Matt Gilpin was very helpful and I am very grateful he took the time to advise me to investigate this issue with my car insurance. It is employees like Matt that make me feel like I am well cared for at Honda of Denton.

My wife and I have been buying Honda cars for more than 15 years, and living in Flower Mound we usually stay around the Lewisville area for convenience. We were looking at used cars for my 16-year old daughter and came across what appeared to be a good 2002 Accord when using the Internet site and searching around. We were definitely going to go up to Denton and take a look, but before we did the Internet sales guys made contact. They wanted to help and with the dealership being about 30 minutes away the help was appreciated. They were friendly and helped give us an idea of what we might be looking at if we decided to make the trip. Needless to say we went to their location, found a car that was in really good shape and bought. The sales associate Alec Baldwin (yes, that was his real name) and his Internet sales manager Chris made the experience very good, and did not take all day. The test drive probably lasted more time than it did to make the purchase. We would definitely return to this dealership due to the nice experience we had working with them.

We wore him out on going back and forth to get keys for us to try out different vehicles and when we didn't find what we were looking for he went the extra mile and checked on the recent cars that were taken in over the weekend and found us the perfect one for our grandson. This is the best experience I have ever had when buying a car and I will not keep that a secret from my friends and family. Went to Honda of Denton looking for an older model clean vehicle for my daughter. We were met right away by JP, who was great. Immediately, we were sat at a high top table and given refreshments, while the salesman went to get John for us. We met John who had corresponded with me regarding a car on their internet site. He was gracious and very helpful in our search for a great used Honda. John was my salesman and he was very personable and helpful. He listened to what we wanted and tried to do all he could to get us what we wanted. He introduced us to one of the sales managers, William. Justin in finance tried to get us in and out of there quickly because we had to go get our kids from a friend's house soon. There was a couple of minor issues with the vehicle that came up when we were going to take delivery. John, William and Justin all were apologetic and all tried all they could to fix the issues. One issue was fixed but they said the other issue can be fixed this week if we come back and let the service team take a look. We never felt like we were a bother to anyone that worked at this dealership and that isn't always the case at dealerships. I would recommend this dealership to others.

After several hours of looking & visiting other places ended back up at the Honda of Denton dealership that we had visited earlier that day. What brought us back the atmosphere of the dealership. How helpful & respectable the employees treated everyone. It made the whole nerve racking experience of having to purchase a new car so much smoother & made us actually feel at ease at knowing it was exactly want we where looking to purchase. Our whole feel at ease experience started with the help from a sales associate named JP, he is a hoot. JP is very friendly & knowledgeable about the Honda cars. He was able to answer all questions we had & even was actually help us make a deal to buy the car we thought we would never afford---wrong we were able to purchase the car we wanted 2014 Honda Accord V6 & the color we were looking for Silver. The second experience was with financing which went really good. The lady that helped us said it was her 4th day on the job would not have known that if she had not told us. She was great & the whole experience was so smooth. She was so helpful explaining everything in detail. Was very glad we did it. The third experience was meeting service manager Dan Garner he was busy at work but took the time to stop & explain the service side in detail. He made you feel if you need service work done it should not be a hassle but a good experience. Dan was very friendly & knowledgeable. The fourth experience was everything was done papers signed & we are ready to leave in our New Car we meet New Car sales director William Stalik very nice man come to congratulate us for purchasing a new Honda. This is the first time in my experience at other dealerships that someone other than the sales person actually was there & walked with us to get in our new car. Overall the process of purchase was good, though original sales rep who we made appointment with did not show up when we did, we were referred to another gentleman who pretty consistently had to go see his manager for this and that, all this before we ever got to see any vehicle. While the overall knowledge level of all staff on hand was very good to great (Dennys Henriquez is absolutely awesome) You will have to watch them as they will pull pricing games like so many others. I was quoted a price for my vehicle on their internet site, told the sales rep that is what I wanted (I did not even quibble about the price) but as usual after the whole process was done I looked at the purchase agreement and they charged me the full price for the car, blowing off their advertised price from their website, which again, I stressed with the sales rep was the price I was willing to pay. So be aware of what they will sneak past you and go over your paper work closely before signing anything!!! Beyond this backhanded tactic they will take care of you in good fashion.

This was my first experience buying a car and I was hesitant to start the process. I dealt with the perfect salesman. He answered my questions no matter how inane. When I say exceeded my expectations I feel like even that is an understatement. This was the first and only place I will ever buy a car. I have told my parents about the deal I got and I expect my salesman to be selling at least two more cars this month. I was surprised to see the GM Chris Ballard was so involved. He introduced himself early on and made me feel comfortable right away. All of my concerns were addressed and I couldn't believe how easy this was.

I used the internet sales department, so no haggling, price was set before we came. A big timesaver if you have children. Each person treated me with respect and was friendly. We did a test drive, picked out a color and wrote up the paperwork. There was a kids area, and a fridge with cold water. Everyone introduced themselves, from the GM to our Service Advisor. We felt like VIPs. I would really recommend Honda of Denton to anyone based on a great internet sales department, no pressure sales, great customer service, good inventory, good price. It was probably the best car buying experience we've had to date. I left feeling relaxed and happy in my new car, not relieved to get away from the dealership.

Normally I hate buying cars. At this dealership, it was actually a great experience! Their staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. I worked with Shelby who was incredible. She did not pressure me into anything, but she quickly answered all my questions. She remembered everything I said, so I didn't need to tell her anything twice. I also worked with the owner and general manager Chris Ballard who was friendly, open and available. He even gives out his cell phone number to his customers! I got a GREAT deal and felt very confident in my choice. JP showed us all the features of our new Odyssey, and he, too, was very knowledgeable and friendly. The entire dealership is a first class operation. It is clean and welcoming. In their service department they offer loaner cars as well as well as courtesy transportation. I would recommend this dealership with the highest possible rating! It was well worth the drive from Carrollton!

The sales associates did not look up from their cell phones to greet us or help us get through the door with our newborn. The front desk receptionist acted bothered by us asking questions. We spoke with Chris the internet sales manager over the phone several times that day. When we got there he pushed us off on to Darrell. Darrell did not seem to know anything about the Pilot. My husband was the one who answered all of my questions. Darrell also started the negotiation $5,000 over internet price. He was not willing to make any kind of a deal. Acted like he did not care if he sold a car or not. The Pilot we went to test drive and look at was damaged inside and and had over 400miles on it. That Pilot was clearly a demo which Chris did not tell as about over the phone. They were be very crooked about trying to sell a damaged demo for sticker price. The entire staff was rude. Very poor customer service. We will not go back there.

I'm from Los Angeles and bought my car off of Autotrader. Not the first time that I've bought a car online. But it's the first time that I bought one from a dealership. The person that I mainly dealt with was Derek Clarkson. Courteous, professional and in constant communication is the way to describe him. Over the process of making the deal and finalizing it, I got the impression that he won't be selling Hondas for very long. Eventually, a Lexus or MB or Tesla (didn't they work that deal with TX?) is going to snap him up.Look, you can buy a Honda from anywhere. It's really the dealer experience that makes the difference. And as a whole, it was fine. It took a little longer to get the paperwork than I expected. But Derek ran cover and made it happen. And that's really all that you can hope for -one guy, on the inside, working for you. Heck, if you can find two, at the same dealership, why would you ever buy a car from anyone else?!They had a shuttle van waiting at the airport and the twenty minutes that I was at the dealership were fine. A bottle of water and a few signed papers later and I was out the door!

I have never had such a bad experience at a dealership in my entire life. They give used car dealers a bad name. I will try to sum up all the negative points from our THREE hour visit as concisely as possible. First, we only went to the dealership because we are considering a minivan (as well as a Tahoe) and wanted to put our carseats in it to see how it functioned compared to the Tahoe. Almost an hour later, we FINALLY get to see the only used minivan they have on the lot. It is nothing like what we want but we didn't care because we really only wanted to test out the carseats in it and were not wanting to buy that day since we are still debating between the two vehicles (which we made extremely clear to the salesman initially). He offered to take us on a test drive while our car was appraised for a trade-in value and we, stupidly, agreed. Cue another thirty minute wait while he takes our car back and got copies of our driver's licenses. Did I mention we have a 2 year old? It was a nightmare. We finally returned from our test drive and just wanted to know the value they assessed our car at so we can get the xxxx out of Dodge. If only it were so simple.Our salesman immediately started his aggressive sales tactics and was practically forcing this minivan we did not want on us. We told him we wanted leather seats - well they can redo the seats for us. We wanted some upgrade features like a backup camera - of course, they can install that too. They showed us a ridiculous monthly payment - well, if we would only allow us to run our credit, he could get us a better deal...for the minivan we did not want. It was xxxx on earth. Worst part, they still had our keys and were basically holding us hostage.About 2 1/2 hours into our visit, I had given up and was outside with our child while my husband desperately tried to wrap it up. The sales manager came over and was being EXTREMELY pushy as well. Finally, my husband had had it and demanded our car keys. Manager would not stop his sales' pitch. My husband got more forceful, "Go get my xxxx keys right now." Instead, the manager went back into his office and started running numbers and came back with a "better offer" for the van we most definitely did not want and had said that about fifty times. My husband finally lost it and told him to hand over his keys or he was calling the cops! FINALLY they gave us our keys!! But not before the sales manager asked when we would be back tomorrow to finish up the deal!! Seriously?!? Please, save your sanity and avoid this dealership like the freakin' plague! This was actually our third visit to the dealership in the past six months and the other two were horrible as well with dealing with pushy salesmen but this visit was just beyond ridiculous. We will NEVER go back there!!

I have a ten year history with this dealership, dating back to when I bought my 2005 Honda Accord. I've also come here for all of the maintenance on my Accord. It's a bit of a trek from Coppell, but this facility and the quality of the staff have been worth the drive. I recently traded in my 2005 Accord on a 2014 Accord Touring and again chose Honda of Denton, even despite being abrasively confronted by William Stalek, New Car Manager. The overall quality of the dealership, the helpfulness of Isaac Salazar my sales associate, and my history with this dealership allowed me to overlook the negative impact of Mr. Stalek.

You get a FREE lifetime warranty when you buy a new car at Honda of Denton! You can also get one on some of the used cars too! I have never seen this, but I was SOLD! The people and service they provide are second to none. All the other Honda dealers tried to bring me in with some low price that was never that low when I got there, but Honda of Denton gave me reasons to come in with everything they offer when you buy from them. It is just a few minutes from where I live in Frisco and the Frisco dealer had nothing on this place! Go see them and you will see what I am talking about.

When I came into Honda of Denton I was acknowledged right away by Bobby. He quickly put me to ease with his humor and I told him what I was looking for, a used or new model that had great fuel economy and was spacious. I'm an undergrad male and so I live a mobile lifestyle so folding seats or a spacious trunk was a factor for me. As he listened he asked me about my budget and helped me make sure important core decisions that would pay off down the road. For example, I started to get a little carried away and tempted by some other models. But since he already understand my lifestyle, financial situation, and the functionality I needed from a car he recommended me to get a Honda Fit. They even had it in the color I wanted, Black Pearl. If I can get a little ahead of myself, I've taken my Fit across the country for a road trip with 4 medium-large sized friends and they all told me how surprisingly comfortable it was. It looks like a small car from the outside but it has plenty of leg room. My favorite thing about the design is that the seats fold all the way down OR all the way up. I've done moves with this car, and with snow tires it performs just as good in the summer as in the winter and during a downpour. Did I say the car looks really really good in black, not to mention the sleek interior. Another great choice Bobby helped me make was going for a used or new model. I live a busy life and the last thing I needed was to complicate it. I choose a new Honda Fit and every time a buddy of mine has car trouble I let out a sigh of relief. Ive never had one issue with my car. A light turns on to tell me when to add air in my tires, and I go to Honda for a free oil change thats included under my coverage, Sentinel Care, that Bobby recommended for me. The rest of the process went pretty smooth as well. I purchased a cargo cover and since I wanted blue floor lights but they take time to install. That road trip I mentioned earlier was the next day so was torn between getting them installed then or having to wait to some other time and make an appointment. Bobby talked to the mechanics and they bumped me up on their schedule. They could have the floor lights installed by 4pm the next day and they delivered. I also wanted a sun visor that custom fits the windshield. Anyone whos lived through a summer in Texas knows how important that is. But there wasnt one in stock at the time. They asked me where Id be in a week and I said Florida. So I gave them my friends address and the mailed the visor to me. That thing was huge and they shipped it out free of charge. I didnt have to follow up with them or anything. You know I even felt a little bad because Bobby spent so much time with me. He was so helpful and since this was my first car under my name he even talked insurance with me and stayed with me while I spoke on the phone to set up my insurance. Another gentlemen processed my paperwork for my loan. Thats another thing I forget to mention. Honda of Denton had a very good interest rate on their Honda Fit, I know its depends on credit history but I pay barely anything in interest. The entire process was so streamlined, really. From coming onto the lot, to the test drive, and all the paperwork that followed. Bobby listened and set me up for the perfect car - for me, gave me helpful advice, and followed through with his commitments. He really did everything he could to meet my unique situation, allowing me to leave with a car exactly as I wanted it by the time I needed it. If you go there seek him out. Youll be happy you did.

I bought my first Honda from this store(and will for my 2nd). As nervous as a first time buyer can be - I was. After arriving, I knew i was in great hands. Bobby Evans took me straight back and we got started - i was there less then 2hrs, and that was due to all the features to show me. their staff took the time to demonstrate my new car's (2013 Honda Civic coupe) bells, whistles, features, safety, etc. Coming from my old car - the technology in autos today is amazing and after my tutorial - I was ready to drive! I haven't had any repairs to do yet, but I did have sunroof visor installed - no time at all waiting in the service area. Honda of Denton and their "family" have made me a Honda girl for life.

Upon arrival, I was greeted promptly and politely by salesperson Joe Majda. He was extremely informative about the product and attentive to my wants and needs. It's rare to meet a salesperson so genuine! I was also impressed by sales manager William Stalik. His willingness to go above and beyond for the consumer was evident. I often dread going to dealerships for fear that I will be harassed into making a purchase. This, however, was not the case. My wife and I decided to trade her 2008 Mini Cooper in for a small SUV. We narrowed it down to the Subaru Forrester or Honda CRV. After test driving the Forrester we chose to test drive the Honda at Jim McNatt Honda because it was close. We definitely liked the Honda better and decided we were ready to buy. The offer Bobby Evan's supervised was insulting and did not even warrant a counter offer. Ended up at David McDavid the following day and purchased our 2014 Honda CRV from Majur Patel. A pleasant experience and certainly more cost effective ($4,400+). Summary: Do your homework and know what the dealer payed for the vehicle. Consumer Reports, USAA and TrueCar are good starting points.

Several years ago after visiting a couple dealerships in the Fort Worth area and not being very happy with the service we were receiving decided to drive up to Denton to try one last dealership. To our surprise it was one of the best experiences we have had at a dealership and ended up leasing 2 vehicles from Jim McNatt. We never felt pressured and felt we were being treated fairly every step of the way. Fast forward to now, my wife was ready to trade in her Odyssey and wanted a Pilot but the problem was we have moved to the Houston area. So we went to a couple dealerships in the Houston area and realized we were back to the standard dealership antics and were not comfortable at all with purchasing a vehicle from any dealership down here. We were planning on a trip back up to the Fort Worth are to visit family for Labor Day weekend so I thought it would be worth a shot to contact William Stalik at Jim McNatt to see if we could work something out where we didn't have to spend too much time in the dealership since we were only going to be there for the weekend. I contacted William on a Wednesday and told him exactly what we wanted in the Pilot and by Friday he had pretty much everything finalized and ready for our arrival on Saturday. This was absolutely the best experience I have ever had with purchasing a vehicle and even surpassed the previous visit we had with Jim McNatt, which I never thought could happen. Again a huge thank you to William and everyone at Jim McNatt for making our buying experience seamless and well worth the trip from Houston. I will always make the trip from Houston to purchase a vehicle from Jim McNatt and not waste my time with any other dealerships.

I was there earlier today getting an oil change for my Honda accord. Worse experience I have ever had. A. I call on Monday to set up an appointment. I inform the gentleman on the phone I have mpp protection and my oil changes are included. His response " man xxxx that's a pain in the xxx I'm going to have to call and xxxx.. " B. I arrive at 9 am as scheduled and ask about the low jack and tune up that I pay for and have coverage for as we'll. well, you have to pay over here I don't know about what they told you. We don't cover transmission fluid and tune up here." You have to pay for that... He didn't want to look and see. He acted as if I was causing him pain or giving him an inconvenience or something? I'm sorry aren't you working??!?!?C. Took two hours for oil change. Two hours with an appt. ?? Express service sign doesn't make sense?? I saw people who got service done after me leave before me? D. Asked what is taking so long? We have to wait for payment, How come other Honda dealerships didn't take so long?? E. how come your representatives bad mouth a insurance that Honda sells? I sure mpp would like to know that Honda representatives are misrepresenting their brand...How come the two other Honda dealerships I have gone to before to get oil change done never had issues? How come the customer service is poor and rude? How come there is no communication between customer and employee about what is going on? How come no one ask me to come in and sit in the lobby? Offer free water? Tell me about wifi? Etc... How come at other dealerships they did do all these things and went above and beyond??? I know this email is going to the quote n quote manger of service dept that I talked to.. I will be forwarding this to your boss as well and his boss to make sure that things get resolved. As a woman going to a car dealership by herself for the initial test drive and research, I was a little apprehensive about what I might encounter, however, the sales representatives were friendly, open, and low-pressure. When I said that I was just doing initial research and was a couple months away from the actual purchase, I was respected and still given excellent service without a pushy sales pitch. Vartan recommended that we think about it and come back on Saturday, when they were having an even that may get us more money on our trade-in. We did some additional research that solidified our decision. Needless to say, the price was right, the people were exceptional, and we came back 2 days later to make our purchase. I knew that we would get a great car at a great price with no funny business. Curtis and Vartan were great, and were genuinely the #1 reason we went back to purchase the car at Jim McNatt rather than any other dealership.

The purchase of my new 2013 EXL Honda Accord was exceptional. Steve Brodsky was upfront and very service oriented. All my questions were answered quickly. Pricing was very good and there were no surprises. After agreeing to purchase i was passed to Bobby Evans the sales manager and received the same excellent treatment that i received from Steve. I bought a 1976 Accord from this dealer and the only thing that has changed is the year of the car and the location. I was referred to this store by a friend who knows Bobby and knew that I would be in great hands by going to see him. I was nervous about buying an auto because this was my first auto purchase. Not only did Bobby get my auto transferred from another store very quickly, he helped me get the process started before I even got there to sign the paperwork so that I could get out on the roads(LOVE DRIVING NOW). Before going into the finance office, he let me see my new Honda and doubled check that it was exactly what i wanted. Mike helped with the financing and paperwork. Got a great deal, and am so excited with the bottom line and all the great products he was able to add. He made sure to keep my monthly payment under my budget amount but I got Honda's warranty, tire protection, and maintenance plan. All these addl. services lets me know that my new car will stay new and well maintained no matter the miles.Stanley...before i drove off, he took the time to show me how my car works, all the buttons and features. He was very patient with me...my old car didnt have anything but a sunroof. He helped me sync up my phone to the blue-tooth, how to use the steering wheel buttons, and what all the indicators lights mean. He even gave me his card/cell so that if i couldn't remember something how to work the features, i could call him day or night. Stanley even called me about 3 days after having the auto to check in on me, and make sure i was getting the most out of the features. Jim Mcnatt Honda in Denton is a store that I will returning to for future Honda purchases. If this is how they treated a first time customer, they really understand and practice customer service and know the importance of keeping customers. It isnt always about numbers/selling, its about people too. I want to extend my Thank you to all over there.

This is the first time in all my many years of car buying that I've purchased the same brand twice (Honda)...guess I like them! I recently purchased my second car from Jim McNatt Honda, the first being a 2009 accord and now a 2013 accord. And Curtis was the finest car salesman I've ever had, absolutely outstanding in his determination that my experience at Jim McNatt Honda be the best ever. Although we've all heard "remember he's not your friend" I consider Curtis now to be a friend. My son-in-law, who accompanied me, thought Curtis to be a "straight shooter." Curtis had spoken to me several months before when my 2009 was in for an oil change about the 2013s coming in, so he became my sales person. But I was very impressed when Steve remarked "we all work together." I liked that. Because of the car I wanted there was a chance it could take some time to find, but William through his contacts had the car for me in one day! And Gary was a delight to work with as he discussed the best way for me to get the most out of my former honda care package. Thanks to everyone.Darrell and the other service advisors have always been very helpful to me, even when I come in with a "silly" question. The service area is very clean and the store is a pleasure to visit. When we first came to Denton 39 years ago we purchased our first car, a used station wagon, from Leon McNatt, downtown. And now I am full circle having bought what is likely my last car from his son. Lastly, I wish to thank the McNatts for their generous support of the animals of Denton County.

Several months before I went to visit Jim McNatt I visited another local dealership in Lewisville. I was a bit put off by the aggressiveness of the sales person and vowed to find another dealership when I was truly ready to buy. Googled Honda and up popped Jim McNatt. I knew the exact car I wanted and took it for a test drive with Stanley. He was able to tell me details about the car that I hadn't heard about in my extensive research. Back at the dealership I made my offer. They could not accept the offer for the car I drove but were about to get me the same model but different color from another dealership. The car I always wanted is mine! The deal was so good that after we agreed on terms a friend of a friend, who sells Hondas, told me there was no way the deal could be true. Her closest was $700 higher! And that would be me "just making room on their lot." When the car arrived at the dealership the staff at Jim McNatt got me into the car in one hour. They treated me especially well, just as if I bought a car at twice the price. They even followed up after the sale. Would not hesitate to recommend the staff Jim McNatt.

MY husband and I could not have be anymore happy with our buying experience. It was so nice that we got to take our time and not feel pressured during the transaction. Had it not been for there patience and expertise I would not have a new car. Buying a car anywhere else always seems to be such a hassle. I knew when we returned for our third transaction it was going to painless as the others had been. And this time I really feel like we got the best experience yet. We continue to use Jim McNatt because of people like Bobby Evans and Mike Tunstall. Year after year we see the smae faces when we walk through the door. They definitely have customers for life!

Just purchased our 4th Civic from this dealership. Got a fair price for trade-ins. Paid a fair price for each purchase. Extended warranty options are explained but no pressure to purchase. Service department is excellent. Never feel like I'm being taken advantage of. Vartan Mikhitarov is an excellent sales consultant. Very professional and likeable. Has broad and deep product knowledge. He made recommendations that we appreciated. Also, got some great advice from William Stalik, the sales director. He too is very professional and likeable. Great staff.

Darrell is professional, polite, and is not "pushy", even though he is known as "strong like bull". He may be physically strong, but his personality didn't come across as "strong", and this is what I prefer when purchasing a vehicle.

3 visits. Had difficulty getting the same questions answered on each visit, such as including warranty information and prices to decide between two vehicles. The 3rd was simply to get a quote, took 2 hours and 2 salesman, and never got one. Salesman sold out rest of dealership by blaming them when I confronted the issues, claims he is more honest than any other dealership, and internet prices are all lies. Still don't have a solid price on either, as requested. Seems the only way to get one was to commit to buying according to one salesman. Horrible trade-in 'ish' value and took 2 hours to get ("no" would have been better). However the mechanics were quite helpful, even if they mistaken the owners manual for the warranty booklet. I'd return to have service done. In general several hours of wasted time listening to how good of a deal we could get.... still waiting to hear what it is. Called other dealerships and got prices within minutes. Even if they weren't "the best," I still got them with little hassle, and that might be worth paying more for.Edit:McDavid saved the day, and its in the driveway! Worth the 40 minute drive.

It was our first experience buying a certified/used vehicle so we didn't really know what to expect. Dennys took us on our test drive and explained all features of the vehicle we were interested in. I must commend Vartan for his efforts in working with me. I stopped in on a Tuesday evening to browse and ask questions about leasing options. I didn't have much time and I let him know that at the beginning of our conversation. He respected my request and was very open to scheduling a time where we had a longer time to discuss options. I then texted him the next day and let him know that I had a slight change to my schedule and he was very accommodating in my request. What can I say about Curtis that anyone who has NOT dealt with him doesn't already know. Coming from someone who has been in the car sales business before, I can honestly say Curtis is one of the best. Many salesmen/women get the reputation of being "one-dimensional", meaning they're only after one thing... your pocketbook. They put on a welcoming and friendly front, but unless it involves them making a commission off of you, they couldn't care less. I consider myself someone who is very skilled at reading people and without a doubt, Curtis is one of the most genuine salesmen I have ever dealt with. He really does care about his customers, even when they aren't there to spend any money. I don't even think of Curtis as "my car salesman" anymore. This is the fourth Honda we've purchased through him and even after the first one, I could consider him a friend. If you're in the market for a new vehicle, PLEASE go by and have a chat with him. His personality and kind-heartedness is what keeps my family coming back to him time and time again. If you want some work done right then i would not go to this honda dealership. If you want good customer service i would not advise you to go there. We had work done on a 2009 honda accord and a 2004 celica. Both had battery issues. The honda had corrosion on the battery cables and we asked them to replace the cables which they did but it took them three days. Really? Three days when you said one. The car was under warranty and i cant even get good customer service. Oh and to add they put the wrong size battery in. Okay the celica had a battery issue and the issue was that it went bad after 24 months and i know batteries do that but when i want to get it discounted by the dealership that i bought the battery from, i think thats an okay request. So if you want the work done right please dont go to the honda and Toyota dealership in Denton Texas.

Curtis was very friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. He listened to what I was looking for in a car, showed me exactly what I wanted, and improved upon my expectations without being the standard 'car salesman'. I was referred to the dealership by my aunt and uncle. They have been dealing with William Stalik for years. We saw their summer clearance prices online and called and talked to Vartan before coming in. Once at the store he helped find the right trim model of mini van for us. The price was within the range that we wanted to spend and they found us financing that was better than the financing we came in with. They also worked with us to find the best warranty for our price point. Everyone was helpful and friendly. The lot and sales floor was clean and pleasant to be in. Overall a wonderful car buying experience, worth the drive (about an hour).

My husband and I went to Jim McNatt Honda North in Denton, Texas to trade in our Honda Civic for a new Honda Accord. We had EXCELLENT help from Curtis Kidwell getting us into the new vehicle. Once it came to the signing of the contract with Gary Woods that's when EVERYTHING changed. We had cancelled a tire program we had on the previous vehicle and Gary Woods told us we would be getting a refund, but didn't know how much it was going to be for until everything had been processed. A few days after driving the vehicle off the lot we received a letter stating we were getting a refund for the program and how much the refund was for. A few days later we received the refund check and deposited it into our bank like normal people would. A month later we received a phone call from Gary Woods telling us we are getting 2 checks in the mail. One check is ours and one is not ours and needs to sent back. Great...NEVER received a second check. How can I send one check back if we NEVER received it?!? Instead of trying to get this settled and figured out Gary Woods threatens us with suing. REALLY?!? Gary Woods botched our ENTIRE contract. We did end up being sued by Jim McNatt Honda due to Gary Woods' botch job on the contract. Me and my family are now having to pay for the ignorance of Jim McNatt Honda North and Gary Woods' all around errors on the contract THEY did. I WILL NEVER refer anyone nor will I EVER purchase another vehicle from them due to their ignorance. This is VERY bad business. VERY DISAPPOINTED NEVER AGAIN CUSTOMER!!!

Never met a nicer sales person ever! He is not there to push anything on anyone. Curtis made sure we were getting what was right for us and he still continues to keep in contact with us to make sure we are still happy with everything! A great car buying experience from start to end. Every employee we dealt with was professional and extremely helpful. We bought a 2012 CR-V. The car will be mainly for my wife. Elizabeth did a great job of explaining all the features to her instead of excluding her and focusing on the man, which has been my experience at other dealerships. Vartan was very helpful in instances where Elizabeth was with other customers. The best part of this whole experience was that we never felt pressured to buy. I visited first for some information and later we both visited to settle on a color and trim level. When the excact match was on the truck we got a call to say it was on the way and when it would arrive. We both went back up there and purchased it and have been very happy with our choice. I will definitely be buying my next Honda from Jim McNatt. I would also like to give a big thumbs up to Justin Elliot in financing. Very honest and straight forward. No sales pitch for all the extra add-ons. Very satisfied customer.

We were looking for a RED 2012 CRV and couldn't find one in the area. My husband made one last attempt and called McNatt Honda in Denton, Texas. He spoke to Denzel and confirmed that the dealership had a red one that was equipped the way we wanted it to be. We went up to Denton after lunch and the sales associate, Denzel, was very helpful. He was friendly, professional, and very well versed in how to use the technology on the CRV. Unlike other sales associates and dealerships that we have encountered in our car search, Denzel understood that it was to be my car. He made sure I was included, consulted, and pleased with everything about the CRV. He was a good negotiator, and made our experience a pleasant one. I would recommend McNatt Honda and Denzel to anyone.

High Pressure sales tactics:Cannot leave until a purchase was made.Confusing numbers for the sales price.The advertised price online (internet) was NOT the same as the sales price presented. and then some excuse that the 'fine print' said it would not be...then why advertise at all? Oh, yeah to gather the suckers.Also: Low balling on the trade in. We picked the next to the lowest figure on the KBB value, they went BEYOND the lowest value on KBB...And MOST IMPORTANT: there was no new car sticker on the automobile. I know this because the salesman wanted to make a point on a charge they wanted to add, and HAD TO PICK A DIFFERENT CAR to do so.That is against the law.I am reporting that occurance to the FTC.Overall one of the worst experiences in buying a car I have ever had.

We cold called the dealership and Curtis picked up the phone. We were looking for a 2012 CR-V. After going to the dealership, we were hit with an unexpected surprise that our trade in worth less than we thought. Apparently it had been in an accident before we bought it. Curtis and Bobby (Sales Manager) were wonderful in explaining several options for us to get out of the car and to eat the almost $9000 negative equity that we had in the car. The whole car buying experience was wonderful and very calm.

Talked to Steve on line, made an apppointment, met the next day. He knows everything about Honda's!! I was ready to trade and had decided on the Crosstour. We discussed my financial needs and what I needed on the car. I am a vegitarian and wanted cloth interior instead of leather so he found one and had it shipped within a couple of days. It was accidentally shipped to the wrong dealership so he went and got it and brought to his dealership. Everything about this purchase was fun and done without any sales pressure. From the minute we shook hands with Elizabeth until we drove away in our new car, we were treated with respect and courtesy. Elizabeth was able to answer our questions with knowledge and precision. She didn't waste our time with sales "gimmicks" and "let me check with my manager" foolishness. The financing was handled with courtesy and respect for our intelligence without a lot of sales pitch hard sell hassles. Overall, this was the best car buying experience we have ever had, bar none. And to top it all off, we love the Honda CRV. It is the only car I have ever driven (I am 64 years old so that is quite a few!) that I actually enjoyed driving!Susan Stanskas

Customer Service: Vartan did a fantastic job accomodating me when he sold me a new Accord. I had my 5 year old son with me and Vartan and Bobby both accomodated him. They offered him water, a playroom, extra balloons, and when we were working out the financing, one of the other finance guys that wasn't involved with the sale helped keep him occupied with a few desk toys. It really helped with the experience. (the fact that my 5 year old negotiated 13 balloons into our deal to "get the deal done" will be a family story for a long time).The shipment of the car came toward the very backend of the range that was mentioned the week before when I purchased the car. In order to accomodate an important meeting I had, Vartan arranged for a loner car for the morning. It make a significant difference. If Bobby would not have appropriately handled the financial negotiation as well as he did and if Vartan would not have handled the customer service, I would likely have gone to the first place I shopped. Based on how they treated my son and how they have tried to handle any misaligned expectations, I will definitely give you guys the first chance at my next car. More accurately, I will come looking whereever Vartan and Bobby are working.

I shopped 6 different dealerships and test drove the model car I purchased at another Honda Dealership where the sales manager was offensive. I was contacted by 4 area Honda Dealerships after using USAA Car Buying service. The responsiveness and professional treatment all along the process was far better with Jim McNatts dealership than all others I worked with over a 2-week period. The car I wanted was not available but McNatt was the only one willing to hunt for one and drive to obtain the car. The follow up was timely and the sales communication was not aggressive. The information and new car instruction was targeted to my preferences and needs. I will drive back there for regular service even though it is over 25 miles from me and there is another Honda dealer within 10 miles of me.

Purchased a new 2011 Honda Odyssey. Great friendly service without the "extensive" back and forth negotiations. I strongly dislike the exxagerated negotiations like some other dealerships. At one Honda dealership, they've wasted about 4-5 hours of my time, only for us to walk away with frustration. This was an easy and smooth purchase, "THANK YOU guys at Jim McNatt Honda"!!!

We can't say enough good things about the experience we had with McNatt Honda. They honored their online sale price, and didn't tack on a ton of over-priced dealer add-ons like our previous dealership. When we decided which vehicle was right for us, they did everything possible to make our purchase easy. Of course, we have done our part over the years by taking good care of our trade-in, making payments on time, and having good credit. (I suspect some negative reviews may be due to the customer having poor credit.) When we asked our salesperson, Liz, why she wasn't being the typical high-pressure, slightly shady salesman, she answered honestly, "I try to treat my customers the way I would want to be treated if I were buying." And she had positive things to say about the way management at McNatt Honda treats their salespeople. That translates into the salesman treating the customer well, too. We definitely saw that for ourselves.Keep up the good work everybody, and we'll be customers for life!

When I walked in the door, I was only planning on test driving a CRZ for a possible future purchase. I had a perfectly good 2008 honda element. I gave the dealer a list of things I would need to buy it.. not really expecting I would get them.. A car payment that was close to what I was paying, a good interest rate, a reasonable loan length, and a beautiful silver color. They got me EVERYTHING I wanted, and I was in and out in about 3 hours total (including me looking around for quite awhile) This was the most amazing visit to a car dealership I have had in my life! Not only that, but their service department is amazing too, We brought our cars in there before, and they took really good care of them, and the work was done quickly too! I was always scared to take a car to a dealership for any work, but their prices are completely reasonable. All in all this is the best dealership ever!

I leased a vehicle from Jim McNatt and had excellent service during the processs. Unfortunatley, within only 7 weeks we were in an accident that was 100% the other parties fault. I contacted the dealership and they walked me through the process of what would occur...from the evaluation of the damage to the offer from the insurance company, they provided accurate and excellent consulting and advice. Since the vehicle was a total loss, I leased another Accord, receieving the same service and level of care that I had received during the initial purchase. I have purchased and leased many vehicles during my life and I can say the commitment to honest assitance and service that Jim McNatt's staff offered was obvious and sincere. This was by far the best car buying experience I have ever had. I typically buy a new car every two years. This experience was stress free and no pressure. I was done with the entire deal in less than three hours. Brandon C. is a great salesman and knows his product. Sales Manager Bobby E. went above and beyond to make the deal work. I went to the dealer with no expectation of coming home with a new car due to being upside down. The staff at this dealership pulled together and made the deal happen with the least out of pocket possible. I will definitely purchase from this dealer again and would recommend them to anyone.

They were patient and courteous in helping me find the right vehicle that would meet my needs in my business and personal life. I own rental property and have to sometime haul replacement appliances and repair/maintenance material. The Pilot LX met this need. I also volunteer at my church to take senior members to doctors and run errands. The Pilot LX met this need. Especially when I put running boards on it so my "80's ladies" could get in with ease. This is my second purchase from Jim McNatt Honda. The first was back in 2001. The buying experience was enjoyable overall. I never felt pressured into purchasing during the entire experience. I really felt that I was "in the drivers seat" for lack of a better phrase. Denzel was very kind and personable, while still remaining professional. I felt comfortable working with him as he had been selling Honda's for 6 years, and drives one himself. That told me that he stands behind the brand. Bobby Evans, the sales manager, was there to help, not there as an extra person to put pressure on like in many other dealerships I've been to. Steve, the business manager is a family man and you can tell. He was very patient and easy to talk to. I didn't have a moment of panic the entire time. This purchasing experience was much like my last one with Jim McNatt. The focus was on the customer's needs, not them looking up at sales boards wondering if they were going to make their goals. Whatever Jim McNatt instills in these guys who work for him really WORKS. Denzel, Bobby and Steve all get top ranking in my book with their professional, friendly, customer service focus. They're a fair minded customer focused group there to serve the needs of the serious buyer, or the casual looker. I'll definitely go back when I'm ready to replace the Pilot I just got...but I'm quite sure that won't be for a LONG time. The McNatt team is first class all the way.

Very warm atmosphere, super clean factility, professional & knowledgeable sales staff & one amazing sales director!! I was so impressed by the sales director Mr. Stalik who not only greeted me but was soooo nice to my pooch that I had with me. I knew after leaving the dealership that I really wanted to buy from him & that dealership, about a week later I took delivery. Both the sales director & the salesman (Jim Slater) did an outstanding job at the time of delivery. They went over all the features & they both took turns to make sure that I felt comfortable w/ all the features of the car before I left - now that is excellent customer service!!

I have traded with Jim McNatt 5 times and they have treated me like a King all 5 times. I won't trade any other place and they are fare and honest as any car dealership can be. They know my face ever time I walk into the dealership and give me a warm welcome and treat me like a person not a number like other dealerships have. They want to sell you car and work with you to make it happen.

The experience we had on Friday 2/25/2011 at Jim McNatt was bait and switch. I went in know the price and the interest rate and how much the payments would be for my mother's car. 1. We told him we did not want to play with payments, we wanted the price of the car and what interest rate was being given. When the salesman presented us the paper work on how much the interest rate and the calculation of the payment, He lied. He said it was calculated at 1.9% standard rate, but the payment he had on his paper was calculated at 16%. When I told him the rate was 16% he said it was calculated at the standard rate and dropped the 1.9%. I had to ask him to go back and calculate it at the 0.9 and 1.9% rate they were offering and at 48 months. Most people would have not known what the interest rate was and would have believed what he was showing. 2. Once we agreed on the payment and the interest rate then we were deceived by the finace guy. We agreed with the salesman on 1.9% interest for 48 months. When we went in with the finance guy he told us what our payment was which was lower than what we agreed and then told us with the extra service years, lo jack and interior and exterior protection that our payment would be the amount that we had agreed upon with the sales guy. I knew something was wrong, but it wasn't until he finally showed me the contract, that the contract was being written for 60 months instead of 48 months. I told him we agreed on 48 months and he told me that honda does not finance for 60 months. He even went so far as to show me his computer which showed 60 months, but he said that is just how they print things but they don't finance for 60 months. This was an outright lie. But my mother said since the payment was in her budget and was the amount they agreed upon, she had a headache and was getting frustrated she would go ahead and still buy it. when the manager came out and met my mother and asked if she was happy with her buy she said not really and i explained everything to him, and the manager said they did finance at 36, 48 or lower if we wanted it. Needless to say my 71 yr old mother had had enough and was hungry, since we arrived at the dealership at 9:15 am, started the process at 9:30am with no other customer in the dealership and it was 2pm before we finished. My reason for writing this review is not just for my mother, but for anyone else that will go into this dealership and be lied to. I believe in true customer service. Reasons like this is why people don't like car salesmen.

That was the best esperience ever buying a car. I was driving on my way back to dallas and I decide to stop just to check this dealer out, at fir glance it look like a normal dealer, but inmediatly everything turns out excellent, people are very freindly and very dedicate. No push and presures at all. Financial was perfect no sorprice and my new car was delivery in less than 3 hours.I recomend this dealer. It`s professionalism is very notable.

We were dreading going to a dealership to get a new car as our lease was out and we had to. We had never been to Jim McNatt Honda before so we tried them. Our experience from beginning to end was very positive. We had an appointment with Courtney Lee and he had our test vehicle ready for us when we arrived. They took our car request info such as payment wanted car and features. We drove the car and then filled out paperwork. At no time did we feel pressured or cornered. We wanted as basic model and not extras were pushed on us. The financial talks were straight forward and had no surprises. We were in and out in 2 hours including the test drive. All in all a very pleasant car buying experience.
