This is my second Buick purchased at Haley. Both times my salesman was Bruce Harris. Bruce did a fantastic job of promoting the vehicle, without pressuring me to purchase. I would definitely recommend him to my friends and family. The entire process from test drive to signing the paperwork was smooth and time efficient. It did take the better part of the day, however, that is to be expected. I am very pleased with my purchase and based on this experience would come back again to Haley.

Well I was told by 2 auto parts stores that said my alternator was the issue and I needed to take to dealership. I called was told that if was my alternator it would be covered under the warranty. I never heard from anyone for 24 hours even though I sent 2 texts to Macy. I called and spoke to Nate who said that it was my battery and cables? And it would be $582 dollars. I said for a battery he said yes and I told him that I was told it was alternator he said that it was battery. He said he would have Macy contact me after lunch. I heard nothing. I called back spoke to Nate again who verified my email and said he would send me a quote right away. An hour later still nothing. I called back 3 times got the assistant Cheryl? Voicemail. I asked for GM to call me back. I get my quote now it’s $387. Then I get a call at 4:30 from Macy say it is $265 now. Thanks for the discount but I should not have had to pay any thing but my deductible of $100. And don’t get me started on my brakes that I brought in 1 month after owning car and being told I had to pay for that.

I first contacted Haley by phone and was connected to Bruce Harris. He answered every question i had and super professional. I was undecided what brand of truck i wanted and went back and forth with Bruce for the 2 weeks. He never got frustrated with me asking all kinds of questions and i became very comfortable with him! At one point i told him it feels like we are friends and I’ve never met you in person!! Long story short I bought the truck unseen and never met Bruce until the day i picked up the truck!! Great Experience!!

I purchased my 2005 Ford Expedition Limited from Haley Buick in August of 2012. My salesperson was Ernie and Jabari. During the test drive of the vehicle, it was cutting back and Ernie said that it was fine that it just had plugs changed and probably was a little wet. Said he would take care of it and when they called me back the next day to retest drive the car it was fine except a little ticking and the code was gone. I purchased the car cash upfront. 2 weeks later a code popped up and the car was cutting back I had to replace both catalytic converters. A month after that I had to replace the altenator. 3 months later I was driving an the truck began sounding like a lawnmower. I had it towed to the shop immediately, only to find that the number 8 plug had an adaptor on it as it had been rethreaded and wasn't in straight and had come out. I made several attempts to speak with someone about the problem and was always told they will call back and never did. Now one year after purchase my truck is in the shop for engine problems. Ernie and his team at Haley Buick are crooks and cant be trusted.

I was very interested in the Acadia I was looking at with Haley. Jabari was very helpful in answering all of my questions and informing me of the features and aspects of the vehicle. Unfortunately for him his Sales Manager ruined our experience. He was extremely pushy and did not actually listen to anything we were saying. It seemed as if he did not even listen to what his salesman was saying and you could tell there was frustration. Even when asked a question by him it was obvious he was so busy thinking of his rebuttal that he never actually listened to our answer. Ernie was one of the main deciding factors on why we did not purchase the Acadia. My husband and I are in sales. Number 1 rule is listen to your consumer. Let them do most of the talking and you will hear everything you need to know to close your deal. Consumers are educated beyond believe this day and they know what they want before they ever get there.

When I visited Haley I was greeted with a smile and friendly introduction. I made it known that I was only looking. I had a list of questions about the Enclave a vehicle I knew nothing about. All of my questions were answered patiently and I believe honestly. I was offered a deal on two vehicles that did not have factory installed navigation, this was my only "must have". The third vehicle had navigation and much more. The price I was given could not be beat. I know because I visited two other dealerships trying. One met the price but the vehicle had 2000 miles. As soon as we walked into the dealership everyone was very friendly. We worked with TJ who was very helpful and listened to everything we said, and found us the perfect car. He made sure he got us the best deal he could. We also talked with one of the managers and he got all of our paper work started. We had to come back the following day and they stayed open later so we could finish up all the paper work. I would recommend everyone I know to them, because they really were great.

Frank Locust was my sales person. I made it perfectly clear up front I did not want to play games. The run back and forth to the sales manager or finance manager baloney would make me leave. I knew exactly what I came to buy, knew the value and had cash. We drove the car, wrote the deal, and they turned down my offer. Out the door I went. Frank went the extra mile, he called me that afternoon with a close counter offer, I countered back, and I bought my car. Loved the great sense of humor, and more importantly, the respect I was shown. Being a woman, I was treated unfairly and worse, had been tried to be taken advantage of at two previous dealerships. Frank even drove my car to my home, 27 miles away! That is service! If your looking for a nice car, and no b.s., go see Haley, and ask for Frank Locust. Super nice, super service. I will go there first every time from now on.

I am always buying a car it seems and I have never had a better experience than I did at Haley. They were courteous, professional and never once did I get the "we got a woman" routine that I run into at many dealerships. I walked in,that was it and I leased the car. I had gone to another dealership in Richmond before checking out Haley and my experience there was anything but great. FYI, the other dealership is less than one mile from my house and Haley is probably close to 15-20. We delt mainly with Lavar the sales manager for the majority of visit and he gave us great information on what would be best for us. We ended up getting a new truck! Bought 2007 Yukon (certified used car) found out it had been wrecked and dealer new about it. Salesman had his hand covering carfax,said sign here you don't need to read, it is a certified vehicle just initial. Went to trade in, dealer said it has been wrecked, took 3000.00 dollars off trade in price. Haley and GMAC only solution was for me to come back and buy another vehicle from them. Did not even get an apology from them for this happening.

I started looking for a car and dropped in the Haley store on Midlothian Tpk. Met Frank, who could not have been more helpful and patient.I was not exactly sure what I was looking for and Frank gave me some valuable info and guidance.He was not pushy, especially when I said that I did not have time to test drive but would be back. I so appreciated that! Decided to return and test drive the car we were discussing. Walk in, no appointment, Frank was with a client. Knowing that Frank was tied up at the moment Jabari came right over and immediately offered his help until Frank was free. Test drove the car with my son and decided again to leave and think. No pressure again, just a tremendous amount of help and friendliness. Came home and decided that car was the one for me. Called them, negotiated over the phone and decided to go back.Went over with all my info and was greeted like a family member. Can not say enough about the whole office-from the beginning to the end it was a great experience.lots of positive energy,friendliness, and so competent.Everything was done for me-insurance,tags..wow!Tom took me on a tour and explained how things work. Love the pit stop and can not wait to use it. Oh yes, I had to go back the next day to pick up something and when I drove on the lot and walked into the office I was warmly greeted (they knew who I was).I was unsure of a few things-they came right out and went over everything with me again. I contacted several dealerships in Richmond which have the enclave with the equipments I prefered. Many dealers just gave me a price, which is not the out of door price as I request, that cannot let me feel their sincere attitude and it is kind of wasting my time. But Haley's dealers' reply impressed me a lot. They took a video of my prefered enclave, and uploaded on youtube, it make me supprised, and let me feel very comfortable. Haley replies were instant, this is very important, since I need to buy my enclave asap during that days. Even other dealerships replied me as well, but it will take me to wait them for a long time, and I cannot see their passion on vechile sales.I think I will referral Haley to my friends if they'd like to buy vechiles in Richmond.

To be honest, I didn't expect a whole lot when I first walked into Haley. Within just a few minutes, my opinion underwent a 180-degree turnaround. Philip Moo was very courteous and helpful, and got me into a great used vehicle with a far better deal than I could have anticipated. Even though their Internet service went down not long after I arrived, Philip and the entire Haley staff worked together to get an alternate connection established (using Philip's cell phone as a wireless hot spot), got my loan approval, gave me a much better trade-in price than I ever imagined, and closed the deal. Tom Jones was very helpful as well, explaining in detail the vehicle service plans available, and helping me choose the right plan for my peace of mind. I can't recall the names of everyone who worked so hard and so long (over 8 hours in that one visit) to get me into my new (to me) truck, but please be assured that I appreciate everyone's time and efforts, and will recommend Haley to any of my friends, relatives, and co-workers who need a great vehicle (new or pre-owned) at a fantastic deal! My deepest thanks to all!

I went in with no intention to buy a new car. When looking around Phillip came closer and in a very polyte manner started to explain issues about the new GMC Acadia. I got curious about this car. I never liked sellers which are too pushing and jumping on me with offers without being asked about. But this was not the case - Philip won my trust and sympathy very quickly, showing professionalism and respect to me. He only made an offer when I asked about and the offer was fair and acceptable without further discussions. Exactly what I like doing business. The final decision I made when I entered the office - I was never before so good and carefully treated by autodealers, even this is my 9th car. This a great team and a great service! It was a great pleasure dealing with Haley Buick-GMC and being treated in a professional manner. Ernie greeted us when Betty and I arrived and put us with Phillip Moo. Phillip is a very customer oriented person and was not pushy to get us to buy our car. He presented the features of the Lacrosse and included my wife and daughter in the conversations. At another dealership, we had to walk the lot on a bitter cold night air to pick out a car, but Phillip had someone help him by bringing around to the front both the black Lacrosse and the diamond white one so we could compare them side by side. Phillip was my initial contact when I stopped by just to look on evening. There was one 2011 Buick Enclave left on the lot. I was impressed with the style and all the upgraded features that Phillip explained. I made an appointment with Phillip to come back the next day to take a test drive. His appointment prior to mine was running behind but he had already made arrangements for Shawn Reed to help me so I didn't have to wait. I was impressed with that since I know they work on commission. Shawn was very knowledgable about the Enclave and he made me feel comfortable driving the vehicle on the test drive. With his help I was able to get a much better trade-in on my car than the Blue Book value. I've continued my relationship with Haley GMC after the sale because they have consistently shown that they value my business. They have provided great support after the sale. I know I can count on them to take care of my GMC vehicles. I feel welcome when I arrive. They know me by name and I know my service representative, the body shop manager, and my salesman. They have very little turnover in personnel that I am aware of and that tells me that it's a good company to work for. All in all, I am well satisfied. Like most people, I wish there were more specials and coupons, but they do pretty well in that area as well.

Last visit in September I a "bubble" in one tire was discovered. This time Debbi conscientiously had the technicians review the tire for safety and it was decided to replace the tire(still under warranty).In addition, all the employees are friendly, without exception. The multi-Point vehicle inspection report is comprehensive and helpful and indicates that the vehicle was checked for all componnents of service. This dealership is conscientious about providing great service!

After 2 months of looking for a new truck and going to every dealership with in a 75 mile radius our final stop was Haley and that was the best decision we made. I orginally visted this dealer to have my 2004 Yukon serviced. While waited a began to view the new vehicles on the lot and test drove it that same night. It was close to closing and Kyle took the time to go over the vehicle with me and offered me a test drive. The next day when visiting the dealerships service dept to follow up on a repair, Tom in service suggested that I have them look at my truck to see how much it was worth. Unfortunately Kyle was not there but Bruce stepped in and assited with my needs. Three days later I was driving a 2011 GMC Acadia. The sales and finance department were helpful and courteous. We were only looking at used trucks, thinking about trading our truck. We decided to take the truck for a test drive, and Shawn met us outside. We spoke for a few minutes and Shawn went for the key. When we got into the truck, Shawn began explaining all of the features on the truck, but he was never pushy. He was very friendly and answered any questions we had. He made sure we were well informed about the vehicle we were looking at. We decided to "run the numbers". Shawn explained every step of the way what he was doing and walked us through each step. After he showed us the numbers, we realized that we could get a new truck for not much more a month than the used truck would have been. Again he walked us through the whole process step by step and made us very comfortable. He was patient with us and helped us with making the best decision for us. One of the very best experiences I have had buying a car. I went to many GMC dealerships in my search and talked to many of them by phone as well. Kyle Webb gave the best demonstration of the vehicle and knew all the features. There were many features on the 2011 Terrain and I felt Kyle answered all of my questions right there on the spot. Kyle was honest and up front about everything. Everyone Kyle introduced me to like the sales manager and the financie manager were all very professional. One of the biggest suprises was at the finance stage. Where most dealerships I have dealt with in the past try to strong arm you into something you don't think you need the finance manager did not. I bought my used vehicle in Haley's Richmond, VA store from Plano, TX, finding the car online flying in to pick it up and actually see it for the first time. I depended on Ernie and particularly Kyle to describe the condition of this car to my satisfaction. I had an 8am appointment, left my car, had requested Courtesy Service,but when the drive arrived, he was not told I was in the customer waiting room, therefore I did not get home until after 10am. I requested my vehicle be ready by 1:30pm, I received a call on my way back to the dealership telling me what other service recommendations my needed. I only required an oil change and tire rotation, and even after I got back to the dealership, the vehicle was not ready, I had to wait for an additional 1/2 hour which made me late for my appointment I had at the office. I have been a customer at that location since 1978, and this is the first time I was utterly discussed with the entire ordeal. I need to bring the vehicle back in for service, but I am leery about coming back because it appears I am having problems with the vehicle and not sure if it is related to my last visit or not. The Oil Icon on my vehicle panel stays on and does not go off when the other icons disappear once the vehicle is started.

So why do I rate this dealership this high? Because both salesmen I dealt with were excellent, polite, and MORE than willing to work with my price range and requirements. It IS the first time I've ever honestly believed the salesmen at a car dealership were there to assist me as well as make the sale. Make no mistake, I went to other dealerships and dealt with other salesfolks. Many of them were "less than helpful", i.e. either dumping me because I was looking at that time or trying to hard sell me into something I did not want at more money than I was willing to spend. The principle reason I returned to this dealership was Shawn Reed and Mike Switzer. The manager (Levar) was good but honestly I would have never talked to him if Mike or Shawn were tools.

My experience this time around was not great by any means.I called Bruce the day before and scheduled a meeting to finailze the car sale. I was on time but his greed to handle other sales while he was attending to me really turned me off. I would never do that with my customers. I have bought from Bruce before and i considered him my "new car sales guy" but it was not recipicated. I feel if you have a customer in front of you that has scheduled the time - dont make them sit and right in front of you work on other deals - not cool!Also - the showroom and offices that day were over 90 degrees - i guess the AC units broke. So, on top of sweating while i'm spending $54,000, i had to be told to wait and i got to watch Bruce bounce around to different customers.

He quickly brought me a vehicle to look at that fit all my criteria and had a lot of extras also! Everyone was very nice and helpful, the man that went over my credit and financial information was very nice and helpful and gave me good sound advice and the man that went over my paperwork from the bank and had my husband and I sign all the paperwork was quick and efficient. Haley had the first car that looked good and the deal didn't sound fishy that we seriously considered when my daughter and I started looking. Given the distance, the initial contact was via chat, all of the rest of the communication was online or by phone. While we were working with Glenn, we were also talking to 3 other dealers. Glenn sent us the proposal, very professional, with an out the door price, no BS, no slight of hand, very straightforward. Talking with Glenn was like talking with a knowledgeable friend that you would call if you didn't know about these things. He ran through all of the reasons to go with a certified vehicle, Haley's reputation, and then he said something you never hear at a dealership, he said we should look around at other dealers and see what other deals are out there. Knowing the distance and traffic we would have to contend with, Glenn also offered to meet us half way so we could see the car and take it for a drive.When we had negotiated a good deal on the same car only one year older at another dealer, I thought I was breaking the news to Glenn that we were going with another dealer. Thinking Haley couldn't get near this price, I shared the deal info with Glenn and thanked him for his frankness. He asked if he could call me back while he worked to earn my business.The next day he called back came withing a couple hundred of the other deal. The Haley deal was actually better due to the Haley car being GM Certified.When we decided to visit Richmond, a 95 mile drive one way, on Saturday, Glenn let us know that he wasn't going to be there while he went camping with his son's scout troop. He put us in touch with Levar and Jubari. They went over the car front to back with us, every scratch, was pointed out by Jubari and Levar went over everything the dealership could do for us at no cost.No up sell, no hard sell, I felt like I was dealing with honest people.Tyler knew we would probably never be back to the dealership because of the distance and because we had our own financing, he did everything to streamline the paperwork while still pointing out the important things we needed to address or be aware of.All in all, I was very impressed with everyone I spoke with at Haley. I hope everyone has the same experience my daughter and I did. It may be nearly a hundred mile but I'll start with Haley when I go looking for our next car.

For approximately two years I have taken my 2007 GMC Yukon to Haley for service on various issues (oil change and tire rotation, 4 wheel drive issues, lights, annual inspections) and I have always been treated very well, the work was performed very professionally and if I was not 100% satisfied with something they were quick to make it right or to explain why it was or was not the way I wanted it. In early May a large part of a larger tree fell on top of same Yukon and did extensive damage to the roof and associated parts. My insurance company is State Farm and when I was looking at their site for a body shop that dealt with SF as soon as I came across Haley I knew that is where I wanted to take my vehicle.I did not know anything about the history of the body shop, whether they did good work or not but did know that I was happy with the previous service work that had been done there and wanted to make sure that I received genuine GMC parts so I chose the Haley body shop for the work to be done. From the beginning Patrick in the BS and his staff (manager types and service personnel) could not have been more accommodating and nice to work with. Patrick spent time with me explaining what the process would be and what he and his staff had to do to determine the extent of the damage and what it would take to make my Yukon like new.Long story short, within a few weeks, actually faster than I thought it would happen I had my Yukon returned to me and it looked as good or better than when it was new 4 years prior.I need to add that just prior to getting it back I saw the almost finished product on the lot and was not pleased with the paint job and spoke with Patrick about it. He knew exactly what I was concerned about and said that he and his paint guy were not happy with it either and would take care of it. He also thanked me for my observation and was pleased that now he knew what my expecttions were of the finished product.Since getting the Yukon back I have received many compliments on the "look" of the vehicle and am quick to tell them who did the work and who to ask for. I also tell them of the great customer service I have recieved and highly recommend Haley GMC to them.I have been in the customer service field for over 30 years as a Director of Parks and Recreation in several cities, counties and state government as well as marketing in the priviate sector so I know what the customer expects from a provider and I can say without hesitation that Haley GMC on Midlothian Turnpk in Richmond, VA is tops both in customer service and in the quality of the service provided both in the service and body shop sides of the operation.

Haley Buick-GMC is conveniently located on Midlothian Turnpike near the Powhite Parkway (just a block from where I work). Although my car is a Dodge, I took it to Haley for service because my co-workers recommend them. I'm glad I did. The Service Department is outstanding. They do quality work and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I was tired of dealing with Service Departments that treat me like an inconvenience. At Haley, they appreciate my business. They don't waste my time and I never get one of those dreaded calls saying, "It looks like the repair will cost more than we estimated." I always know EXACTLY what the repair will cost when Haley handles it for me. I've been a satisfied customer for several years. Several of my co-workers have bought cars from Haley Buick-GMC and all are happy with their purchases and the service they receive. I wish I'd looked to Haley when I was shopping for a car!

Bruce was very thorough. He helped us find the exact vehicle we were looking for. He had printed out multiple options prior to our first visit. He asked us if we were members of USAA in order to receive their member discount. We wouldn't have known of that discount had he not asked. They offered the lowest possible price at the beginning and offered a more than fair amount on my trade in (more than 2 other dealers in the area who pride themselves on 'buying your car even if you don't buy ours.' This was the first time I purchased a new vehicle and was pleased with the experience. I love my new Acadia!

This Dealership had a large inventory of certified GMC vehicles. One of the main reasons that I visited this dealership was the availability of GM Certified Trucks. Haley GMC/Buick employees were very knowledgable of the options and specifications of the GMC truck that I eventually purchased. Went to purchase a 2009 Buick Enclave that this dealer has listed in eBay "classifieds". Drove 25 miles, husband took time off work only to hear that it is a demo and it isn't there right now, the Manager's wife is driving it. I asked him to go find out when it would be there. He came back saying that "oh, we need to remove that listing because that car isn't "technically" for sale right now". Went next day, spoke to Sales Manager, test drove a different car (same model) and learned they didn't realize it was listed in every classified area on the internet but did their best to ensure it was removed. Frank assisted me in learning about the Enclave and Sales Manager valued my current trade. Did not purchase this particular vehicle after more inquiries on the condition of the vehicle that was the demo that Sales Manager's wife is driving (had to have a new engine put in it and I never saw it on the lot although they assured me it could be brought there if I wanted to purchase it). This review has been edited at the request of the Sales Manager to reflect my second visit so I felt it was fair to combine the two scores.I do appreciate the time they took with me and the follow up they provided, but Enclave continues to be listed on eBays classifieds as of today's date 4/12/2011.

We were referred to your dealership, and specifically Service Representative Debbie Lewis, by another satisfied service customer.Upon bringing our high mileage GMC Jimmy to your dealership for a noise in the rear axle area, Ms. Lewis showed her professionalism in listening to our stated concerns, accurately documenting them on the repair order and following up with us as the work progressed. After establishing that the noise was indeed in the rear axle area, Debbie presented several options that were available. She even introduced me to the technician, Barry , who showed a sincere interest in correctly dianosing and repairing the vehicle while at the same time keeping the cost to a minimum. I approved teardown and inspection of the axle assembly to confirm the necessary repairs. Having quite a number of years experience in the automotive service industry myself,I was impressed with the courteous and caring attitude of both Debbie and Barry. The repairs were made and the vehicle now rides smoothly and quietly. Though no one likes the added financial burden of car repairs, especially during the holiday season, the service staff at Haley GMC did their best to provide quality service at a reasonable price.
