Gresham Ford comes through again! I was changing the battery in our 5 year old Escape and found the battery cable severely corroded. I did not have the tools to fix the connection to the sensor. I had already disassembled the cowl to access the battery. I brought the Escape to the service department and explained my ordeal. I really did not expect to get the vehicle back until maybe the next day. Within about 2 hours I was called and told the vehicle was repaired! I was able to finish up the battery install and put new spark plugs in my vehicle. Thank-you Gresham Ford for helping me out in a pinch. Over the years Scott and your entire service team has been fantastic.

Les Schwab inspected the wheels and tires on my E350 van (twice) and balanced them, but the shaking and vibrating for which I had taken it to them remained. Gresham Ford quickly noticed a rear tire needed to be replaced. They also identified a "ratchet noise" coming from the front end, recommended repacking the front wheel bearings, and that fixed it. Great job, Gresham Ford!

Periodic service (oil change, etc.) -- service completed in less than the projected time and in a reasonable time frame; good communication; pricing is fair. I waited just a little more than 30 minutes for the service to be accomplished. I accepted a recommendation to change the cabin filter, and was pleased that it was recommended. The extra price was clearly stated in advance, and was reasonable.

On Monday, September 19, 2016, I called Gresham Ford to inquire about an appointment to have the clutch replaced in my 2006 Mustang. I spoke with Greg who quoted me $925 and said the work would take 2 days (including sending out the fly wheel to be resurfaced). Greg told me to make an appointment a few days out to give them time to get the parts in. I made an appointment for the following week on Monday, 9/26/2016.I dropped my car off at Gresham Ford on Sunday, 9/25/16 at approximately 12:30 p.m. At approximately 3:00 p.m. on Monday, 9/26/16, Ryan (the Service Manager) from Gresham Ford called me and said that they would not honor the quote I was given by Greg on 9/19/16 (even though the quote was in writing). Ryan informed me that the cost would be approximately $1,600. Ryan proceeded to offer to purchase After Market parts (non-OEM) from NAPA which would bring the cost down to $1,100. I explained to Ryan that I brought it to a Ford dealership because I wanted Ford parts and service by a Ford certified mechanic. Ryan then told me that they had not even ordered the parts yet. They would order the parts on Tuesday and it would take 2 days to get the parts from a location in California. I asked Ryan if they had a loaner car since I was now going to be without my car for the rest of the week. He said No, but he would discount the repair by $300 so that I could rent a car.On Friday, 9/30/16 at 2:00 p.m. Ryan called me and said that the Mustang was ready for me to come pick it up. I drove to Gresham Ford, paid the bill, and was told that someone would bring my car around to the front. I found myself wondering that with the amount of incompetence I had experienced thus far from the service desk personnel what disaster could possibly be waiting behind the doors where the actual work was done? That question was answered when the technician who drove my car out front got out of my car and asked Have you been having problems with your clutch? I explained that I had brought it to Gresham Ford to REPLACE the clutch. He responded Well it wont shift in or out of gear. In my mind I thought ARE YOU SERIOUS!? The car was then taken back into the service bay for another 40 minutes while the mechanic made adjustments so that the car would actually shift. As I waited I started thinking that there are 4 other Ford dealerships in the area and why hadn't I taken my car to one of those!?The amount of unprofessionalism I experienced at Gresham Ford was unbelievable. The audacity the service department had to call a customer and tell them that they would not honor a written quote is absurd! What is the point of getting a written quote if it wont be honored. So you lure people in with low quotes, wait until you have their car, and then drop the bomb that you are jacking up the price by more than $500!!! Is that the way Gresham Ford does business? Ill tell you what, though, FRIENDS DONT LET FRIENDS TAKE THEIR CARS TO GRESHAM FORD.

Interesting reading of a few reviews by a few customers, Having been in business before, we have encountered customers that could not be satisfied regardless of what you did to resolve any problems. Frankly, we have had nothing but great experiences in dealing with Gresham Ford. Our first was a 95 Ranger....handed down to our Grandson and still going strong with over 200,000 miles on it. The second was a 250 Super Duty Diesel (2007) that pulled our camper, hauled rocks, mulch and was also used as our only vehicle. The truck got excellent mileage, and we never had any problems with it. After selling the camper we decided we could go back to a smaller vehicle. Went back to Gresham Ford and dealt with Sam Rich, Preston, and AJ. They went above and beyond to see that everything went great as we purchased a new Escape (Titanium) that we are loving to drive.

Very disrespectful and rude. Played games and beat around the bush. Finally did make a deal on a 2016 ford fusion energi it lacked some features i wanted but i let it slide. The issues really started once I bought it. I have owned it 9 mo now and have had to take it back to the dealer 4 times. Everyone there was rude and called me a liar to my face about issues that are still not resoved on my car. They are not helpfull and by far the worst car buying expirence I have ever had. I think of myself as a ford guy but gresham ford has ruined that for me forever.

My check engine light was on so I made an appointment to see what the problem was. After two tries to fix the problem, the engine light is still on--even after changing a cam sensor and the alternator at the dealership's service suggestion. We still have the problem and nobody can fix it...

I take both my trucks in for maintenance at the gresham ford dealership and always receive wonderful service. This last time I had to have keys made, and an ployee who was from another area saw me trying to put the keys on key rings while I was paying. He nicely offered to do it for me since my hands were full. Everyone was super friendly and helpful, love this place!

Gresham Ford blew me away with their customer service.I was in the market for one of those new hot hatches. The Ford Focus RS. However I was late to the game when it came to ordering one.I must of called at least 7 Ford dealerships. 4 of those 7 laughed in my face and basically said "good luck buddy." 2 of them informed me that they were all allocated for but they could put me on a 16 person wait list.I nearly gave up when I decided to give Gresham Ford a try. When I told them what I was looking forward they said it'd be tough but they'd work on it. About 15 minutes later I got a call back and they found me one! I ordered my RS in March and I picked it up the last week of July.As you can guess those four months I was very excited and the Sales Manager Van Austin very kindly called me with weekly updates. He always made sure I was happy.And when the car arrived Van even came in on his day off so I didn't have to wait another day to get my car.I drove away extremely happy and I'd recommend Gresham Ford to anyone in the market for a vehicle!

After sales of vehicle (paid with cash) was completed dealer's closer informed us that they had only one ignition/door key and if we wanted a second one it would cost $250.00. Had I know about the missing key and the cost I would have walked or insisted on an additional key.

Took my truck in for brakes and it has never driven right since. First time I got it back it was so bad that I almost got into a wreck... It was bouncing and shaking vigorously Took it back and they did the alignment (more $) which helped for a little bit but soon begun to shake again. Took it back again and was told I needed to put another 2k in repairs to fix the problem. My truck drove perfect before I took it to the crooks at Gresham ford. I highly suggest you never go there for anything!

I broke down while traveling thru Gresham,OR. Positive, service dept was open till midnight. Also positive, staff was very friendly. However, when I got my bill, it was outrageous. Subsequently found out that they mark up their parts 40%. Also shop time is $105/hr. They had my truck for 7 days for a 10 hr job. One part was ordered several days later because the parts guy "figured" they had it in stock. So if cost means little to you and you like good customer service, this is the place to go. They smile big as they pocket your dollars

Our 2003 Ford Escape needed a new transmission, brake job and oil change all at once. Gresham Ford has always been there for us and came through again. The service manager took extra time to be sure we were satisfied with the work and treatment. They have done all the service work since it was new and purchased there. Great group of people.

I was looking for a 2014 V-6 used Pony . They only had two new GT's on the lot and then Jim R. located an I4 inline turbocharged 2015. I wasn't looking for a new or a four cylinder Pony but I took her out for a test drive anyway. I was pleasantly surprised at the acceleration and the way she handled the road and turns at a good rate of speed. I fell in love with her within 30 minutes of putting her through her paces. By the way, I love the 6-speed manual tranny! The sales staff, Rachael, Glen, and Jim were wonderful to work with. Really no different then the service staff who regularly (3000 miles) treated my '05 Pony with great care and thoroughness. This has to be one of the best and most enjoyable car buying experiences of my 61 years. Thank you Gresham Ford!

your staff worked the numbers so that I was able to get into a Ford focus owing much less than I expected and with a car having far less miles than my trade. Over the years I have purchased a number of cars and this was by far the best car buying experience ever.On a related note I have to say that with all the experiences I have had with salespeople as a customer and as a salesman, back in the day, Billy May is without a doubt the best I have ever met. Truly a man with a heart and genuine concern for his customers. Maybe its the good old Texas hospitality but he is definitely a person one could call a friend. In other words, if there were Academy Awards for sales people and auto dealerships you would win hands down.

We just started looking at new cars, and wanted to try this dealership. We met Sam Rich, our salesperson, and told him we were just looking. He showed the car we were looking for, 2015 Ford Escape, Titanium, and there was no pressure at all. He encouraged us to look at other vehicles to compare, as we usually do, but nothing compared to this vehicle.Sam, and the Sales Manager, Preston, found the car we wanted, and worked with us to get us a great price. I told Preston that it was important for us to buy from them, as they are a family-run dealership, and also because of the way we were treated. Everyone there was extremely friendly and professional, without going overboard. The owner, Bess, even came down to greet us!I would definitely recommend Gresham Ford to friends and family.

We found a car that we really liked and thought we had a deal but when it came down to finalizing the sale the price changed. There were several conversations and text messages back and forth with the "final" sales price "all fees included" but when it came down to signing the finance manager had very different numbers (several thousands higher). Of course the salesman said there was a "misunderstanding" but at the end of the day it wasn't an honest deal. I had to walk away and was very disappointed.

Gresham Ford promotes itself as the Dealer with a Heart, and I would say that is a fitting description. Over the past several years now we have purchased a couple of cars with Gresham Ford and the buying experience has been so much better than any other purchase we had made before. The sales people are knowledgeable and helpful but not pushy and the sales experience was pretty upfront, none of this back and forth back and forth and chase us down to make a deal. At the end of the purchase they also donated $100 to the charity of our choice. We went and purchased some snow tires from Gresham Ford for our explorer and found that they also donate 10% of your service bill to the Charity of your choice.... Gresham Ford really is The Dealer with a Heart!

Purchased a Used Vehicle here. 2011 with 40k. 3 days later thud starts at slow speeds. Rear brakes begin SQUEALING. $550 to fix. Not even willing to work with me on getting any kind of discount, as I just purchased this vehicle. 2 weeks later, Driver Seat Breaks. "Oops sucks for you was their response". Broken safety Glass continues to appear throughout the interior of the car,pieces have been flying out of the A/C Vent?! "Well maybe your car was broken into" is their response. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS HERE. AND I RECOMMEND YOU DON'T EITHER, YOU WILL REGRET IT!! TRUST ME.

Do not take your vehicle here for ANY service! I highly recommend Firestone (and I would never take a vehicle there for any Service!) versus taking your car here for services. Their service center is run by a little boy. Their "techs" are barely adequately trained. Customer Service, NON-existent! If you like Horrible Service and poorly trained "techs" then please take your car here. But, if you are like me, and demand quality work for your Hard Earned money, then please take this advice and Avoid this business!!

I am very pleased with our experience in buying a used car from Gresham Ford. I had the privilege of working with salesman, Sam Rich. He was great to deal with. He was not pushy and let me do my deciding. I called him and told him what we were looking for, the price range that we were in, the down payment amount, the color, the low mileage and when we wanted to pick it up. I told him we were traveling from Central OR and that I didn't want to be all day making the transaction. He was awesome! He delivered all that I asked for. We were there maybe one hour and the paper work was done. We had a great experience with the entire deal. I would recommend Gresham Ford to any one wanting to do fair deal on buying their next car or truck. Thank you to all of you.

I have been working with Gresham Ford since 2011 and their customer service, professionalism, and dedication to the community has been unparalleled. Our nonprofit organization, Metropolitan Family Service (MFS), has a program called Ways to Work that helps working parents with challenged credit access funds to purchase a vehicle to help them get to work, school and family activities. The program also works with the family to help them prepare for the loan financially, through focused financial education and budget coaching. Since Gresham Ford owner Bess Wills learned about the program, she wanted to help support the program by providing safe, reliable vehicles for the families looking for cars. Bess and her staff have gone above and beyond in terms of working with our program participants. Hi Bess, I thought I'd let you know that I enjoy the newsletter and that I read each issue from front to back. I also want to let you know again how much I appreciate your awesome staff. Glenn always remembers that I bought my Escape through him and Ryan is the perfect person for the service center. And, I came in to have the oil changed Monday evening and when it was done the service tech came back out and asked me if I minded waiting while he took the car back to make sure everything was done. He was gone only a short time and when he came back he thanked me for waiting and said he wouldn't have been able to sleep if he hadn't rechecked the work. I wish I had gotten his name but I imagine you have it on the invoice. He is the kind of employee and the kind of person that everyone should value.

My experince buying cars has always been bad. When I went to Gresham Ford in December of 2012 to buy a car it was great. At no time was I pressured or told I needed something I did not want. I told the salesman what I wanted and he bent over backwards to give me what I asked for and nothing more. I left with a new car and a good experince. I have used the service department since 2005 and I have had nothing to complain about, good job and I look forward to a long and happy relationship. Jim Cardelli.

Our car broke down over the Labor day weekend. Car was towed to Gresham Ford. They were very quick to diagnose the problem and call us. I had my car back the first working day.... What I would like to see is someone to go over the billing and tell you exactly what they did. The light came on again on the way home from Gresham Ford, husband took car back the next day,they said the fix would be an additional 200.00 without looking at the car . We found the water reservoir to be low on fluid. Light has not been on again. I would like to see more inteaction from the service writers with the customer. We will continue to use Gresham Ford as we have been going there for many years.

Great people to work with. I have used their quick lane for LOF several times and they are great from your check in to keeping you appraised of how they are doing. If you need something they thoroughly explain what it is and why. I have observed how they treat other customers and it is always with respect and they make you feel like you are very important to them. Any work that I need done I will have them do it. Nice score card given to you when you complete the service that tells you what things you may want to consider in the future.

We found the used car via cars.com that we wanted to see/test drive so called and made arrangements with Steve Renner(the internet/fleet manager to meet. No hard sell and still honored price even though it was no longer listed on the internet. The buying process was easy with Captain John the finance guy. They stayed open late for us but we still needed to get the phone synced with the car so brought it back the next day and got that done plus they made an extra key at no extra charge. Nice folks to do business with.
