Had to get my Airbags swapped due to a factory recall. After a pretty long waiting period and one reschedule the job appears to be done correctly, which is probably why it took almost 4 hours to do so. The free coffee in the lobby was great but no offer of a loaner car or anything else so I was kind of stuck there for the duration.

First let me say the service mgr Ricky went above and beyond to help me while the service dept was open. He knew I was working midnight shift and was very helpful. And I know stuff happens and we able to make mistakes. But……when service dept was closed….. After my windshield wipers were damaged during previous repairs; I was more or less told I had to deal with it by sales people because they were functioning til Monday when service department opens. They wouldn’t even admit talking to me in the phone twice. They wouldn’t even call the service mgr after I told them what all happened while they were replacing my turbo charger. So now during forecast raining all weekend I hope they don’t damage my vehicle body it’s hitting on. And I hoped it didn’t lock with drivers side and stop totally because they are jamming together. It was Big safety issue to me BUT they don’t care! Actually I did have to get out in the pouring rain to unjam them that Sunday. They have no one there that can make a customer service decision on the weekends and refuse to call anyone that can. A loaner vehicle would have solved the problem but they couldn’t even do that. Even with my vehicle being bought there and still under warranty. Sad customer service from sales department. This was in the first week of July. It broke down on the side of the road again Wednesday and Rick the service manager was quick to help me out. Thank goodness it wasn’t after service dept closed for I’m sure sales would have been if no help. Makes me wanna buy another vehicle from them Right??!!!!!! They’re all great when trying to sell you one but after that…..no help. Sheila Inman

My husband and I were travelling through the area and we began to experience significant car trouble. We called Gene Langley Ford and spoke to Matt in the Service Department. He stated that they were pretty busy, but to come on in and he would see what he could do. We made it to the dealership and Matt was right there to help us! I can't say enough good things about our great experience during our "bad luck breakdown". Matt kept us appraised of what the diagnosis was, gave us a choice of repair options, costs and best of all- Had us on our way that same afternoon! A BIG thank -you to Matt and all of the Service Professional's at Gene Langley Ford in Humboldt, TN!

Carrie was amazing! She helped us purchase a vehicle after being turned down by others. She also had a couple of vehicles in mind by the time we arrived. We test drove the first one and fell in love. She was upfront with us from the get go. Carrie was fast and efficient. Would definitely recommend going to see her!!

after we did not make a trade salesperson was rude and suggested if we could not afford a new car he had plenty of used ones. what he didn't know was we could have purchased any new one he had on the lot. so we traded with someone that wanted our business and got a lot better deal.

My overall expirience there was good. I bought a 2010 burgundy taurus, and I absolutely love it. My salesman was Wendell (sp?) and he was nice. Everybody was nice and the whole process wasn't too painful. Went about as good as it can if you're spending alot of money in one place lol! But everything went well, and I'd come back here to do business with those folks. Probably going to try out their service department with this new car I got. I've heard good things about it, but I haven't tried them yet. I'll let ya'll know when i do!! lol

I've bought two cars from GLF over the years. Had no trouble out of them (mustang and fusion), and the buying process was fairly easy. All routine and regular. This dealership is really great. Very family oriented. They have three generations of Langleys here (I met them all) and you can really tell they love what they do. Probably one of the last honest to God family businesses out there, and I can tell how they've stayed in business for...well, I'm not sure, but they've been here in Humboldt FOREVER. When they told me they honestly cared about me (the customer. and making sure I'm happy with their services! doubt they'll buy me christmas socks or anything LOL!!), they meant it, and the shoot-you-straigt salesmen weren't greasy and dishonest looking! They were actually nice guys!! (and no, I'm not getting paid to write this LOL). But anyways, it was a great expirience, I love my new car ('10 blue fusion!! so pretty!) Everyone's nice and there's coffee. :)

Wow, that one review was scathing! Makes me wonder if someone has a grudge against the Langleys, lol! I've been buying cars from Gene Langley Ford for almost 15 years now, and they've always been great to me. I'm a single mother of two boys, and I bought my first car (Ford explorer) here back in the late 90's, and I've been sold ever since. I got a good deal, the salesmen (and sales-ladies!) are always so kind and helpful (especially to newly single mothers trying to figure out even HOW to buy a car!!), and the service department is stellar. Ricky Jones is a sweetheart. And Gene Langley? Intimidating? The man's a teddy bear! This past Christmas, they had hotwheels decorating thier Christmas tree inside, and Mr. Gene plucked two off the tree and gave them to my boys. That's why I'm wonderng on the validity of that woman's review. I haven't had anything but good expirience there for 15 years. But don't take my word for it (or do!) - I'd go in a check it out for yourself. I promise you won't be disappointed!

I was mislead by the saleman about the price of the vehicle and an extended warranty. I was at the dealership for an entire day making the purchase and by time I signed I was wore out. I asked about what I thought was about $1,100 difference in the price we agreed on. The salesperson said it was just numbers for Ford on the extended warranty and said it all was the same as we discussed. The next day, I sat down with a calculator and found out I was charged 1,336 more than our agreement. I tried to renegotiate the deal. They would not, I felt deceived. I decided to go ahead and buy the vehicle withouth the warranty. After making two trips to the dealership to redo the deal. I was an unhappy customer and let them know it, in a firm but not too ugly way. The owner of the dealership came up to me as I was leaving in the parking lot and grabbed the door of my vehicle and said I was calling him a liar when I said I didn't get the deal I understood. He was very intimidating. He said he didn't want my business and wanted me to come back in and redo the deal again. I was so upset that I said no thanks and left in tears. I am a woman and I will never go by a car by myself again. That was yesterday and last night I decided to take the vehicle back and apologize to anyone I spoke to about my being dissatisfied. Even the owner, who bullied me in the parking lot. He did teach me a lesson. I should have just returned the vehicle and not argued with them, because they don't care if you're satisfied or not. I don't reccommend this dealership to any one if you want the appreciation for your business or customer satisfaction.
