I bought my 2011 kia optima a little over three years ago, and it currently has less than 70,000 miles on it. I bought it as a certified used vehicle, and now my starter went in a car that has less than 70,000 miles. I have had many vehicles, never had a starter go in a vehicle with less than 150,000. Now I have to put out almost $500 for a starter. because it's not covered under warranty. I went against my better judgment and bought a Kia, I really hope this is the only issue with it.

I just read customer x's review on her sales person. I actually got my new Sorento from Gateway Kia and everyone was great. It sounds to me that customer X has some credit problems. If you pay your bills on time there is no need to send paperwork back and forth and wait for phone calls to see if you are approved. When you pay your bills on time you walk in and pick out the car you want sign the paperwork and leave. What is really sad is that you probably just got this poor sales person in trouble because you don't pay your bills. I loved dealing with Gateway Kia they always take care of me and yes I have used there service dept also and Don is the best. It's sad that just because you don't pay your bills you can sit behind your computer and bash the place.

I received a phone call from Gateway Kia stating they needed used Kia Rios from 2010-2014 and to come in to see if they can over pay me for it and I'd be able to trade it in. I took that opportunity since the 2011 Kia Rio I was sold from Gateway Warrington in December of 2014 that had 14,000 miles on it was already giving me issues having 32,000 miles on it now. I went in on Friday night and salesman Chris started to help me, we sat there for a little and I wound up having to leave since I didnt have all of my paperwork to complete the sale. Chris gave me his personal number to text him and send him the papers, so I did just that on Monday morning around 10 am. I didnt hear from him for a few hours, so figuring he was just busy I didnt bother him. He got back to me a few hours later and said they would start on the paperwork soon, that they were busy. We went back and forth a few times, but after 5:30 pm on Monday the conversation came to a halt. He never told me whether I was approved, and didn't bother texting me to let me know he was still waiting on the approval. I text him and called him Monday night, but he never answered me. He said his day off was Tuesdays which was the next day, so I called up to the dealership to let them know the situation and to see if I was approved and got no answer from anyone because he wasnt there to let me know. I text him and called him that day as well, still with no answer. It is now Wednesday mid day and I still havent heard from him, I called him and text him still with no answer. I called the dealership because he was apparently working today, but he so happened to just step out when I called, so I explained to whomever I was speaking with that this is unacceptable of him to not get back to me and that I have been waiting since Monday to see if Ive been approved. The gentleman said he didnt know and Id have to wait for Chris to get back to me. I told him never mind and I would not be giving such an unprofessional salesman any business. Chris just text me AFTER I CALLED THE DEALERSHIP TO COMPLAIN saying he didnt get back to me because he didnt have an answer. I told him its unprofessional and common courtesy to get back to someone who is waiting on a response, even just to tell me hes waiting on an answer. I guess common courtesy is something they need to work on along with educating their employees on how important communication is when making a deal with someone. I DO NOT recommend Gateway Kia of Warrington for anything, their service department who I had to deal with twice is just as incompetent as their sales team.

Apparently the warehouse workers at the parts warehouse not only do not know how to pull the correct part number but they also FUDGED the paperwork so the part number, packing slip and invoice all matched. We came to Gateway Kia for an oil change, which was due. Hoping we could just wait for it, we were told it would take about 45 minutes. So we said, great. Well what do you do at a car dealer when you have 45 min. to waist, you look at cars. Lorenzo Kemmerlin approached us with a big smile and a friendly manner. We were contemplating trading our 2004 Kia Sorrento in for a new car in the near future so we told Lorenzo what we had in mind. He was not only friendly but extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He answered every question we asked of him and even had some suggestions for us to consider. The Gateway Staff made the purchasing process smooth and easy. Everyone was very pleasant. Lorenzo helped set up some functions in our new car and told us if we have any questions to just call him. Later as we drove off in our new car we said what a great experience from Lorenzo and the whole staff . On Thursday My fiance and I went to Gateway KIA and met with Lorenzo about possibly buying one car. Lorenzo is the BEST salesman I ever had the privelage to work with. I hate using the word Salesman because he did not try and sale us anything we didn't need. We gave him our thoughts on price and he came in exactly where we wanted to be and we drove off in a brand new KIA Optima. We were so impressed with the service we received we returned the next morning with my fiances car and drove off with another brand new car. Everyone at the dealership were friendly and helpful from the Manager Barry to the finance guy Ron. I would strongly recommend anyone to go to Gateway KIA in Warrington.

Since my 2003 Chevy Tahoe was getting older, and more and more expensive to repair and fill with gas, I decided it was time to consider a smaller, more practical car. Gateway Kia is located close to my home and I was very impressed with the style and features of the Kia Optima so I wanted to take it for a test drive to see if I liked the way it handled the road. My husband and I read rave reviews on Lorenzo Kemmerlin, and contacted him to see if he would be available to talk to us about the car and perhaps take it for a ride. He was extremely friendly and approachable from the start. He explained the car's features, warranties and details thoroughly and allowed us to test drive the car and we were quite impressed. Our original intention that evening was just to drive the car to see if we liked the ride since we already liked how it looked, and yes, we enjoyed the ride! Lorenzo and his manager, Eric, went above and beyond to work with us on a trade-in value for my Tahoe and they were truly a pleasure to work with, Both my husband and I felt they were working with us and not against us during the entire experience, and neither of us have ever experienced that before in our entire years of purchasing cars! In the end, they put together a package that we could not refuse. Unbelievably, I drove my hot red Optima home that very night. And someday, I plan to come back...

I purchased a really clean, well prepped used car from Gateway Kia. The sales staff, even beyond my rep, were very friendly and gave a good dealership experience. About a week out, I had an issue that was not warrantee covered and they stepped up to help me out. Although I have not used the free service/new loaner car provided with the purchase yet, I was very surprised that a dealer would even offer this for a used car client. Very good experience!!

I took my car in to this dealer at 9:00 A.M., as per my appointment, for a minor warranty repair. The car was promised to be ready by 2:00 P.M. that day. Not having heard from them by 3:30 P.M., I telephoned and was told that repair would not be completed until the following day, but I was promised that the car would be ready by noon. It is now 4:20 P.M. and I am still waiting for a call from the service department that the car is ready. I called the dealer at 2:00 P.M. and 4:00 P.M. to inquire as to status of repair, and was told both times that the technician was "just finishing up." I will follow up with a report as to the quality of the repair, if and when I ever get back my car.

I purchased my new Kia Sportage in 2012 and I couldn't be happier. From the time that I walked in the door to the time I left, all of the staff were very helpful and very courteous. I had my infant grandson in tow and throughout the lengthy sales process, they were all very helpful in keeping him occupied, happy and well-fed! :-) The sales experience in itself, although tedious, was easily handled step-by-step, thanks to everyone from my wonderful salesman, Lorenzo Kemmerlin, to the sales manager, the service manager, the young lady that wrote up the finance papers, even the other sales reps. I felt as though my initial presence was welcomed, unlike one other dealership I first visited in Lansdale, and that my business was sincerely appreciated. This is the first Kia I have owned and it is, indeed, THE most fun to drive, easy to maneuver and very reasonably priced. When I visit the service department, the service staff is always pleasant, no matter how busy or rushed they may be, they are patient and they take the time to explain things that need to be taken care of. From the moment my husband and I walked into the dealership, we were treated with courtesy and respect. Lorenzo greeted us at the door, made us feel extremely comfortable,found the exact car I was interested in, and worked with us to get the payments where I wanted them to be. There was no pressure, and we felt like we were part of the Kia family (which we are as our family owns 3 Kia vehicles!). Lorenzo also sold my daughter her Forte 3 years ago, and she was impressed by his professionalism then, as much as we were now. He gave a full explanation of all of the features of the car, and even programmed my i-phone to the car while we were waiting to do the paper work. When I submitted my online request for the Optima, I received several emails and voice mails from 3 Kia dealerships, and while I never had the opportunity to deal with any of the sales crew, the experience I have had in the past with Gateway Kia of Warrington's service department, verified my decision to come here to purchase my new car. While we were waiting, we had the opportunity to interact with several employees and everyone was cordial and professional, and it was evident that there was good chemistry among them. My salesman, Franco, was friendly, knowledgable, and took extra time going over the car. He even handled calling my car insurance and adding the new car to my auto policy. I gave this dealership very Hi ratings due to the fact that they bent over backwards to accommodate my wife and myself in getting our paper work done as faster as possible so we could take the vehicle of our choice home that night. The staff stayed well after closing time to get things done (1130 pm to be exact). Christopher took time from his busy schedule to explain how different functions of the car operated even though he had very little sleep the night before. We have never had this kind of experience with any dealership in the past while shopping for a vehicle before. A very pleasant change of pace. Keep up the good work Kia guys!

From the time I phoned Gateway Kia, to the day I visited, 4/15/13, they always treated me in a proffesional customer oriented manner. Upon my arrival I was introduced to Lorenzo Kemmerlin the sales consultant assigned to me by the sales manager. I felt very comfortable with Lorenzo as he took the time to explain all of the options I had at my disposal. My situation was a bit tricky as I knew I was upside down badly in the vehicle I was trading in, Lorenzo worked with Eric Tunke, who found the best fit for me in order to get me the vehicle I wanted at a reasonable payment. I am extremely pleased to say I am the proud new owner of a 2013 KIA Optima, and what a vehicle! It will take me a bit of time to figuire everything out with all of the new bells and whistles included, and also coming from a SUV, which I have driven for 20+ years the vantage point is changed! I would recommend this delaership to anyone interested in being treated like a valued customer walking in the door. I live over an hour away and had a bad experience with the local KIA dealer and Gateway made the trip worht every mile. Thank you again to the entire team who assisted me, from Lorenzo to all of the folks evaluating my trade, the finance folks and anyone else who took the time to greet me while I was there.

"My daughter was looking for a car and made a call to Gateway Kia because a friend had recommended them. We were greeted by Peter Pietrangelo. We told Peter the amount we could afford and he started to see what he could do to get us close to that amount . He pulled a car out front for us that was in excellent condition, inside and out. My daughter was so excited and loved the way the car drove. Peter and the finance department had gotten us close to the amount we had asked, and we bought the car. The next morning the finance team (Harry) wasn't to happy with the finance rate and had felt that he could do better. So he called a few more banks and was able to lower the finance rate a good bit. He lowered the payoff by 11 months and the payment $7.00 less a month. So overall they went above and beyond our expectations. We would definitely recommend Gateway Kia. We shopped at a few kia dealers before we came to gateway, we were immediatly welcomed by harry. It was such a pleasure to walk into a store where your spending hard earned money and someone says welcome. As soon as harry welcomed us ,another man came over and welcomed us again, his name was lorenzo .Lorenzo was the salesman that showed us the vehicle and demonstated how everything on this car worked . when we came back from the test drive we walked in the store and were again greeted by alex and eric . everyone was so nice and friendly. we came to an agreement on price and we were excited to get our new soul. Harry came over to us and congratulated us and thanked us for our business as well as alex and eric. this dealership is the best by far for how nice and friendly they are and they are all truly the most professional people that we have come across in our search for a new car.we will recommend all of our family anf friends to go see these guys at gateway kia - make certain to ask for lorenzo,harry,alex and eric you will have a great experience- love you guys!

The people at Gateway Kia were very hospitable. I went in having a hassle free and pleasurable experience. The first person we asked for was the internet sales rep. When he came out, he confirmed the information that we sent him and then handed us over to Chris Banner to finish the buying process. Chris was great. We looked at the car i wanted. It was a used Acura Rsx. He was so enthusiastic during the whole process. After the filling out of the initial paperwork, he kept us briefed on how the finance situation was going. During this process we learned about him. We talk about everything from past jobs,cars, to sports.Found out he was an Eagles fan. I am a Giants fan. My girlfriend who was with.me during purchase is also a Eagles fan. During this time of laughing and joking about that, the loan was approved. He took us for a test drive and then handed us over to the finance manager. He made the process very easy to understand. I finished signing all my paperwork and was thanked for making the purchased. Meanwhile, Chris, was getting everything ready for my departure. He also thanked me for my purchase and took a picture of me with my new car. It was a great quality experience.

I've been bringing my Sportage to Gateway for service for over a year. I was always pleased with the work that was done (Tim Shuttleworth always went out of his way to make sure my car was fixed right and on time), but it was fast approaching 115,000 miles, so I checked into getting a new vehicle. This journey started the day before Thanksgiving '12 and ended 1/28/13. I was undecided about what I wanted to buy, did I want to keep writing a check every month when I was almost finished paying off my loan, etc. I finally decided that I would buy a Sorento, then went to PFFCU and got a loan, and finally purchased the car. I'm pretty sure I drove Rick and Paul crazy with all my going back and forth, but they were persistent and came through with a good deal for me. I wanted remote start installed, so they set it up and gave me a loaner to drive overnight. They really went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. I will refer any of my friends and family who want to buy a car to Gateway of Warrington. Both the Sales and Service Departments are outstanding. Thanks Rick and Paul!

Our second buying experience at Gateway Kia - Warrington was just as good as our first! Lorenzo is one of the nicest, non-pushy, accommodating sales people we have ever dealt with. I know what constitutes a knowledgeable salesman and what constitutes a great sales experience. More dealerships should adopt the less pushy, more friendly, less bottom-line attitude. If a customer is going to purchase one of your vehicles he has a right to expect to be handled as an intelligent buyer. If the salesman can demonstrate the vehicle effectively and answer the customer's questions, like Lorenzo, without any arm twisting then the sale should come easy. The game of back and forth with the manager should be kept to a minimum. It makes for a much more pleasurable buying experience when the customer can feel that the deal that he got is the deal he came in for. Great customer service with a very friendly, clean and welcoming showroom. Overall buying experience excellent!

My salesperson Chris Banner was the first person we saw when arriving at the lot. When we asked for the internet manager that had been helping us with our questions, Tom Forman, Chris gladly went to get him. Chris introduced us to Tom, who explained he only took care of the internet part and handed us over to Chris. Upon doing that, we sat down and started to get down to business. But. it did not feel like business at all. Chris asked us what we were looking for. I stated that we saw an Acura RSX on the website. He said let's go see it. When I told him that was the one, we went right in and started the paperwork. Chris made the process smooth and explained every step. During the conversation I found out he was a die-hard Eagles fan. I am a Giants fan and Kay, who was with me, is an Eagles fan too. Chris shared some of his Eagles stories while we waited for approval. He was enthusiastic the whole way through. Upon getting the approval, Chris setup the test drive. During this time we found out that he served in the Armed Forces. We also found out that he was vet tech, and so is Kay. Upon completion of the test drive, he asked how was the ride and I told him I wanted the car. We went back inside and Chris gave us NutriGrain bars and brownies while we waited for Harry to finish getting the paperwork together. We went to Harry's office to sign all of the paperwork, which also went smoothly. Harry was cool too. He explained every form before I signed it. Chris had the car prepared for our departure. Before leaving he took a picture of me in front of my 'new' Acura RSX. I want to thank Chris for all of his helpfulness, making the process pressure free and for being very informative. I wasn't even planning on going home with the car that night, but the guys at Gateway Kia - Warrington made it happen. Chris, thank you for helping me obtain my car and for serving our country. Owen

Lorenzo Kemmerlin actually sold us 2 cars! He was very personable and courteous and knew everything about the cars we looked at. He was patient and went out of his way to accommodate our requests.If I knew anyone going to Kia to look at cars I would definitely tell them to ask for Lorenzo! Al was very patient and understanding. He went out of his way to make us comfortable offering us something to drink while we were waiting. He listened to our requests and helped us to finish the deal and we left with a beautiful new car!

We unexpectedly needed to shop for a new vehicle when our old minivan broke down. We had purchased two Kia Soul's last year and were very satisfied with that experience so we decided to visit Gateway Kia again. We knew that we needed to replace the minivan because of our now larger blended family and unfortunately one of our new Kia Soul's would have to get traded. It was really hard decision for us because we really liked both of our Kia Souls. We did a whole lot of research and decided that a 2013 Kia Sorento would fit our needs perfectly. John Burns helped us find just the right one and Paul helped get us a payment that we would be comfortable with. Thanks for another great Gateway Kia experience.

Called about their Memorial day sale $5000 off any new Kia in stock, when I called I asked about the actual price of the vehicle,a 2012 Forte LX auto w/ a MSRP of $17120. I bluntly asked would it be $17120-$5000= $12120, he said it would be $5000 off "dealer posted price" what the heck is that? It seems they can make up any price they want,so I did not waste my time and told him I was not interested.It seems as though they will get you up there and try to pressure you to buy.If it seems to good to be true it probably is.

Hands down worst dealer I have ever dealt with in my life. Lies, games, deception etc.. Salesman was very arrogant. Tried to charge me $4,000 over MSRP on a base kia soul with manual transmission because "they are hard to get and this is the going rate for a markup." This was all lies. Then they tried to sell me a $4,000 dealer package with mud guards, pin stripes, remote start. I told them I wanted bare bones with nothing else, but they would not listen. Then i got in touch with another dealer and found out this markup was a lie. Wound up getting a soul from another dealer with no problems at all. I posted this because I want people to be aware these guys will blindly rip you off if you do not do your homework. How is this even legal? And how do these "men" sleep at night? STEER CLEAR OF GATEWAY KIA!

August 2011, I inquired via email about a car listed in their online inventory and was told that it was available. I phone called to confirm they had it at their Warrington dealership and made an appointment with John McDonald to test drive. I drove 40 minutes the next day and was told when I arrived that John was out sick. They then told me they couldn't find the car and then said it was at their Quakertown dealership and that I should drive over there to see it. At that point I left. I did eventually find the car I wanted at Sussman Kia and bought it with no problems, excuses, deception or rude treatment.

I drove off the lot with my new Kia without Inspection stickers. When I finally noted this almost two months later, I called the dealership. I spoke to a manager, Chuck. He in essence blamed me for that mistake and would not accommodate my needs. After he explained he could not accommodate my needs, he promptly hung up on me. I have NEVER seen customer service like this in my life before. A manager hanging up on me? Definitely will NOT be referring friends & family to the dealership, as well as not doing any future business with them. I am completely disgusted.
