I sen the following letter to the dealership about my experience and they never responded. I would buy anywhere else than from Ganley.To whom it may concern,I bought a 2012 Chevy Cruze from you on 12/26/2015. I paid cash for the vehicle. I wanted to let you know that the experience I've had with your dealership has been absolutely terrible. I originally called on 12/23 to inquire about a vehicle on your website. I was informed that the vehicle was just purchased at an auction and wasn't at the dealership yet so I couldn't come see it. The salesman offered to call me as soon as it arrived on the lot. He called on 12/26 and I was at the dealership within an hour. By the time I arrived, it was already being sold to someone else. The salesman showed me some other vehicles but all of them either did not fit my need or were out of my price range (the car was a purchase for my Mom). My brother and I were about to leave and I decided to look on my phone to see if there were any other cars that we could look at in the area since we were already out. I pulled up Autotrader (I think) and saw a blue Chevy Cruze at your dealership but listed about $1000 cheaper than the one the salesman had just tried to sell me. I went back into the dealership and asked about it and was told that it was the same vehicle just priced wrong on the lot. I ended up buying the vehicle (I paid for it outright- no loan). While doing the paperwork, the salesman asked for proof of insurance. I know about insurance (Im a commercial underwriter for Progressive) so I asked why he would need to verify coverage if I was paying for the vehicle outright. With no loan on the car, whether or not the vehicle is insured is really none of the dealers business. The salesman said he didnt know, he just needed to make sure it was insured. I decided it wasnt a big deal, so I added the car to my policy on my phone and then faxed proof of insurance directly to the dealership using the fax number provided by the salesman. I showed him the confirmation screen from Progressives website to prove the vehicle was insured. He said he needed to call to verify the coverage. I had just shown him that the vehicle was covered and also faxed proof to the dealership, so I asked why a call was needed when he had just seen that the vehicle was insured. He said he didnt know, but that he had to call anyway. This was both an invasion of my privacy (there was no reason for the insurance verification as the vehicle was owned by me at that point and there was no exposure to the dealership or a bank) and it was also a waste of my time as the dealership already had a fax showing the vehicle was covered. In spite of the issue with the incorrectly priced vehicle, the waste of my time, and the invasion of my privacy, I still bought the car. About three weeks after I bought the car, my mom called me and told me that the airbag warning light was showing on the dash. I went over to her house, verified that warning light wasnt a fluke, and told her I would take care of it. I happened to have received a call from someone at the dealership about Onstar/Sirius radio that day, so I called the guy back (Sam?). He told me about the Sirius trial and while I had him on the phone, I asked him about the airbag warning light. He told me I should probably bring in the car for service and I made an appointment with him over the phone. I realized after I got off the phone that I hadnt asked him about whether or not I would need to pay for the repair, so the next day (might have been the day after) I called Craig Lemasters (the guy who sold me the car) and asked him if the repair was covered under warranty. He said he didnt know but he would have the service guy call me. I waited a day but was getting concerned that I would miss my opportunity to get it fixed under warranty since we were approaching the 30 day mark from when I purchased the vehicle. I called Craig back, who told me he was just about to call (coincidentally). Craig got the service guy on the phone who said there was a 50/50 warranty on drive train problems only but that I could bring it in and he would diagnose it for free. Although I appreciate the offer of the free diagnosis, this is obviously frustrating as there was no way my 65 year old mother did anything to cause the airbag light to go off and when you pay $10, 000 for anything, you should at least have it for a month before something breaks. He asked me if I needed to set up an appointment, but I told him I already had set the appointment up with Sam for the following Monday. At this point, I am really frustrated because: I had to tell your dealership that the vehicle they tried to sell me was incorrectly priced My privacy was invaded by the insurance verification The salesman wasted my time calling out to verify insurance when he already had proof on the fax machine The car I just paid $10, 000 for is already in need of a repair I have to take time off of work to bring in my 3 week old car purchase for a repair On the Monday of my appointment, I show up 15 minutes early and am told that they dont see that I have an appointment. I am about to go ballistic at this point but luckily they got me in anyway. After waiting in the waiting area for about an hour, the service guy came in and told me they had diagnosed the problem. It was the part of the seatbelt that locks the seatbelt in the event of a crash (cant remember the name) and that they will split the repair with me (total cost $340- my output $172). Im irritated but appreciate the split on the repair so I tell them to go ahead and do the repair. After waiting another hour, the service guy comes back in and tells me that he was mistaken and that the part is not in stock and that I need to bring the car back in. Im irritated by the additional 30 minute wait, but I understand that you cant stock every part for every vehicle so I make an appointment for the following Saturday. I have plans to be out in Florida that day, so I ask my brother to take the vehicle in for the repair. Neither of us live close (about 30-40 minutes away), so he is doing me favor. I give him the money and tell him it should be a relatively quick fix as the problem has already been diagnosed. On Saturday, he takes the car in and after waiting a while, he is told that the dealership ordered the wrong part and that we will need to bring the vehicle back in for the repair. My first experience with your dealership has been abysmal. You have shown a complete disregard for me as a customer. Its been made clear to me that my time and the amount of money I spent at your dealership is of no consequence to you. I know I am not a high profile customer who purchased a Camaro or Corvette from you, but I think those are the easy customers to treat well. The fact of the matter is that the majority of your customers are like me, guys trying to get a square deal when they buy a car. The way you have treated me is reprehensible.

Worst sales staff very unprofessional. We were treated like we had the plague or something. The information had to be submitted twice because our first application was shredded by mistake. Then waited around and listened to another salesman have an argument with his wife on the phone. Made us feel very uncomfortable and knew they did not care.

Brought my 1999 Tahoe in to have the intake manifold gasket replaced. It was leaking coolant. As long as it was there I thought I'd have them do an oil, filter lube job too. I asked twice about all the grease fittings to make sure they would be lubed. I was assured both times that ALL the fittings would be greased. $1200+ later I see the grease job was not complete. Also stated on my invoice is that all hinges, latches and handles were lubed. Also that was not done! Sure, I can lube the hinges etc myself but if that is part of the job and I paid for it shouldn't it have been done. Also grease and oil were all over my wheels! A rag wipe down would have done wonders, but that did not happen. Also the gasket repair was supposed to stop the erratic idle speed (I was assured). That did not happen. So Ganley Chevrolet of Aurora charged me for doing a job that was not done completely or not done at all! And let it be delivered to a customer this way! How many other customers do they do this to? Shameful and embarrassing! .

Great customer service!!! I started my shopping on-line. Ganley Chevy Aurora has a great website. They offer a free Carfax on every car and have much better pricing than anybody else in the area as I shopped around. I found the perfect car on-line and called to schedule an appointment. An hour later when I arrived, the car was washed and waiting inside. That was pretty cool! The car drove great and I ended up buying it for the price on-lineno gimmicks, no games. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. I will buy all of my cars there from now on.

Had car in for service 3 times. Each time had to return due to problem not resolved. Wonder if they check their work on completion. Condescending attitude when I had to return for same issue and unapologetic. Wasting my time with multiple trips.Will never return for service or buy a car from this dealership.

I went to Ganley to have my key FOB reprogrammed in my car because I replaced the battery, and it stopped working. I brought in two key FOB's, they said one had internal problems, but that was fine. Then, after I paid, I asked where I could pick up my car, and the cashier said it would be out front, it's probably getting washed. I waited at the front door for about 15 minutes, asked the man at the front desk where my car was, and no one seemed to know where it was. I had to go find it myself. The Key FOB only worked for the rest of that day, and once the next day. I came back a week later to get it reprogrammed again, and the worker told me that I must have dropped it because it was broken. He then told me that If I got another one, he'd program it for free. I got another one from Ebay, and took it back in a couple weeks from the last time I was there. Everything went fine (so far), and then when he gave me my invoice, he said he would only charge me $25 this time (same guy who said he'd give me it for free). I then told me he said he'd give me it for free, and he said he'd take care of it. So it took me THREE times to go up there just to get a key FOB reprogrammed. Needless to say, I will not be back up to Ganley again.

My husband Gil loves cars and getting into a new 2013 Malibu was a dream come true for him. It took my husband at least one month or more to decide about getting this car. We began and ended our search for a new or good used car at Ganley Chevrolet in Aurora. We were both very impressed with the wide selection of cars, pricing and best of all Bob Nero. He put us at ease from the get-go. No hype, no flag waving just gently guiding us to the cars that might be of interest. Long story short, we bought a new Malibu at an excellent price and couldn't be happier. Bob went along with us on the test drive (very helpful) pointing out the car's features and made sure we fully understood all aspects of our new car before driving it home. His walking us through the Onstar and XM Radio features deserves another A+. In addition to selling cars, Bob also gave us confidence in his word and in the dealership he represents. Absolutely the best sales person whom we have ever dealt with. We spent over a week looking at used and new cars at several dealerships and Lenny was a perfect fit for us. Took the time to explain everything that we needed to know but got us out of there as soon as possible, since car shopping isn't very easy with a 3 year old and a 6 week old. I would highly recommend this dealer and salesman to any of my friends. Also loved dealing with the finance department, Dan Flack. He related to us really well with having children and even helped entertain the 3 year old!!!

Best experience with a car dealership! Patrick Griffith did an outstanding job answering EVERY question we had and was expedient in returning phone calls. (He even gave us his cell phone and worked with us on his day off!) He found us the exact vehicle we wanted. Patrick truly earned our business. He is very professional and treated us with respect and appreicated our business. I have never experienced such a wonderful experience in purchasing a new vehicle as I did with the great staff at Ganley. This is my fifth new vehicle purchase, but the first time ever with Ganley. By far this was the best experience out of the dealerships I have dealt with in the past. Thomas, the sales manager met with us personally, and helped us with our purchase. Dan, the finance manager, answered all of our questions and got us the best possible rate for financing. My husband and I live in Cleveland so we checked online for cars at the Cleveland Ganley. No luck finding what we wanted. So I took a looked at the Aurora Ganley. We are so happy I did! The staff is wonderful! Everyone smiles and is in-sinc with each other. We say it is definitely worth the drive and the time it takes to go to this car dealership! I couldn't thank the staff enough for everything they did for us so that my husband left with the car he wanted for his birthday! We bought a used car. Everyone involved in the car sale was very courteous, businesslike, and knowledgeable. Patrick, our salesman, did an outstanding job and answered all of our questions. Allen, Dan, Tom, and Bob also played a role in our satisfying experience. Dan did a wonderful job with the financing paperwork and we felt like we were given the best deal possible. It was also the little things that made our visit enjoyable. We were welcomed by everyone and offered beverages. Our insurance company was also contacted to update our insurance on the new car and the license plates were transferred and the registration will be sent to our house. We were able to walk out of the dealership with our new car and not have to worry about making additional calls to insurance companies and banks. Overall, the experience was extremely positive. We will contact Ganley the next time we need another car.

There was no games played I told them my price and they got me the best car on the lot a new 2012 fully loaded Cruze and it is beautiful. Excellent customer service from start to finish. I came in because of letter Ganley Chevrolet sent out abount trade ins. I was greeted promptly. Ken was friendly and listened to what I was looking for. He explained a lot about the car before we even drove it. He introduced me to the new Chevy Sonic LT. It is a wonderful and comfortable car to drive. I was happy with the price I got for my trade. Ken, Thom, and Dan even stayed late to complete the sale. I also appreciate the fact that Bob Ganley came by to make sure my transaction was going smoothly. I appreciate all the time everyone spent to make sure I was comfortable with the transaction. Sadly, I became almost stranded across the street from Ganley Chevrolet of Aurora when my 2008 PT Cruiser over heated and started smoking. Thankfully, their service department was able to help me out. After realizing they were going to keep my car for a few days to order parts and fix the issue and living about 45 minutes away, I was stranded at the dealership. Since I have recently moved to the area I did not have many friends who would have been able to give me a ride. The cost of calling for a taxi would have been over $200. All rental companies had already closed for the night. I was in a bind. THANKFULLY, the kind people at Ganley allowed a salesman to leave early to give me a ride all the way home. AWESOME!!!! It was like they were angels sent from God. After finally getting my car back after about 3 days, I was persuaded to take a look at some other possible opportunities for a means of transportation. Given that I drive around the state for my occupation, my car is VERY important. It's VERY IMPORTANT that is runs smoothly. Lenny Johnson, a sales consultant, did a wonderful job explaining all my different options of what the dealership had to offer that would be in my price range. I didn't feel pressured. It was an awesome experience. Low and behold 2 days later, I had a new car, 2007 Jetta, which I LOVE. I just want to say that Ganley Chevrolet of Aurora has BY FAR been the best car dealership sales consultants I have ever met. As a whole, every single one of them greeted me with smile and I felt so welcomed. Anybody looking for car whether it be used or brand new, GANLEY CHEVROLET OF AURORA IS THE PLACE TO GO!!!!!!!!!

I originally found our 2010 Lincoln MKZ at the Ganley Ford dealership in December. I live in California, and had some trouble coordinating the purchase of the Lincoln before that dealership closed. The car was transferred to Ganley Chevrolet of Aurora, where Mina Fanourakis took over the deal and made it seem less. The whole team at Ganley Chevrolet was very accommodating and pleasant to work with.

Was tired of dealing with dealerships that are not local to me. With the used car market still favorable, I was looking for a good trade in price for my 2005 Chevy Silverado 4x4 Extended cab.This dealership is close to my house, and they were running some lease specials on the Cruze, Equinox, and the Volt. I highly recommend all three, although admittedly I only drove the Cruze and the Equinox. (Some friends of ours just bought the Equinox a month or so ago, and recommend it). The Volt was not in my current budget. They encouraged me to drive it, but I was worried I'd want one even more!I was greeted upon walking in the door, and was introduced to Mina Farnoukis. This guy knows his cars. You'd think he's been selling Chevy's for 20+ years. Plus, he takes the time to ask questions, and he hears what you are telling him. You want to buy a car from someone that knows and enjoys cars. The managers and Sr. Salespeople stopped by to make sure I was being well taken care of, and to answer additional questions. The manager took the time to thank me for my purchase, and promised the dealership would stand behind the car. They have a nice open showroom, and plenty of new and used cars on their lot.BTW: I visited other dealerships in the area and online. I drove competitor vehicles, and felt that buying the Cruze from Mina at Ganley Chevy of Aurora was the way to go.

Chris was such a help in my search for a new car. I originally had no intention of buying a Chevy, however he completely sold me on the Chevy Cruze while I was out shopping. He gave me the best deal of all of the vehicles I was looking at and I am very glad I listened to his recommendation. I absolutely love my Cruze and would recommend Chris to anyone. He is a very knowledgeable salesman and a great guy!

Minas is a pretty efficient and knowledgeable salesman. He works extra hours and goes above and beyond to find you what you want. Giving him a better sense of what I was looking for he found a better vehicle than what I was originally looking for. Pretty enthusiastic about what he does and it makes it easy to recommend more people to him, as I've already done. At least for me personally he is the right blend of personality that I enjoy in a salesman, knowledgeable enough to find what I need, giving of the facts, giving of suggestions, pointing me in the right direction and allowing me to make my own decisions. As long as he's a salesman I will continue to send him referrals.

I called Ganley of Aurora one afternoon after getting the run-around with other dealerships. By that evening, Ganley of Aurora had approved us for a brand new Chevrolet Malibu LTZ and the entire process was seamless. Chris Shaughnessy was very prompt and thorough, and I would definitely recommend him and Ganley Chevrolet to family and friends!

We drove over 3 hours to pick up my new car (2006 SRT8 Cherokee) along the way we had some car trouble. I called my salesman Chris,he wasmore tha willing to help and he came right out picked us, called AAA had our car towed to the store. Once my truck was fixed Chris was completely ok with us shopping and going to look at the other intended vehicles. After we were treated by Chris and Steve in the service department so friendly and professional, I knew we had to look nowhere else for our vehicle. Chris worked with us to make the vehicle affordable and Dan in finance helped tremendously with the financing and getting us a great rate, so we wouldnt have to use our credit union. The only thing I wish or could ask for is that we would have found Chris and Ganley of Aurora sooner. Thanks again to all involoved and although 3 hours away we will tell friends and family of our experience

Most of the experience was done via the internet. Spoke with the sales associate a few times and was treated very well. There was absolutely no pressure. The sales associate was honest and had integrity. I received a great price and the car was delivered to my home....who does that?! Would higher recommend this dealership and will purchase from them again!

Chris was as friendly and helpfull as he poosibly could have been. I bought a great car with low miles for a fair price. When comparing to previous experiences I foundhim and your dealership to be the best I have delt with. I would highly reccomend him to anyone interested in a new or used car.

When i came to Ganley of Aurora Matt was very helpful. He listened to what i had to say in what i wanted as far as a vehicle, pricing, and what i could afford. I was shown different vehicles all in my price range and that met the criteria in what i wanted. We took a couple vehicles for a test drive to see how I actually felt in the vehicle. Afterwards Matt was able to work with some numbers and help me find exaclty what i wanted. If someone asked me today where to buy a vehicle i would tell them go to Ganley of Aurora and ask for Matt Reinhart he's the best and will take good care of you.Amanda

the Salesman (Matt) was friendly and willing to listen to the needs of the prospective customer: used, certain size, price limit, necessary capabiities of the vehicle and what was not needed.It was a rainy night, the Salesman provided an umbrella, offered to sit in the back seat during the test rides so my friend (to potential buyer) and I could talk about the vehicle.the salesman offered to locate other vehicles in my friend's price range and was willing to show us the locater feature of this dealership.He also took the initiative to have the finance manager come in to meet with us.

Chris Shaughnessy was absolutely great to work with! I honestly believe that Chris worked to get me the best possible price for my vehicle. I have purchased 3 company vehicles and one personal vehicle from Chris and Ganley over the past 2 years and every experience has been excellent. When I first bought by Camaro I was having a problem with the remote start and Chris made sure that everything was taken care of to my satisfaction, including the use of a loaner car for the day mine was in the shop. Bought a used 2007 Ford Explorer Sport trac with 63,000 miles that was marked with warranty. The sales team went on and on about how it had been thoroughly tested and checked, and that the truck was in pristine condition with no accidents and only one owner. A few days after purchased, the brakes made a funny humming noise. Took it back and was told there is nothing wrong. I returned a day later a told them the noise was still there. They told me the rear E-brake was corroded and falling apart. They replaced the rear rotors and brake system. The same day the noise occurred even worse than before. I was told i could bring it to the west side Ganley Ford. Now they are telling me it is a bearing in the front tires that are causing the noise. I called Ken Ganley to explain that for the two weeks I've owned the truck, it had been in the shop five days and that I no longer want the vehicle. The manager from the dealership called me and told me their service team had dropped the ball and missed these problems in there "rigorous" inspection, but returning the vehicle was not an option and that he really didn't have to fix anything because the truck was "As Is" even tho the description on the buyers guide said otherwise. Also even tho its a small issue, the truck was falsely advertised as having an ipod and mp3 player connection when it does not. I still have not gotten my truck back from the shop but i intend on going for a long drive as soon as i get it back, and if the problem persists I will seek legal council in the matter.

They are crooks and sold me a wrecked car that under the poor repair job fell apart within 3 months of purchase. I called them to be told I bought a 2010 Camaro as is and they weren't fixing it. They are the worst car dealer I have ever dealt with and I wished I had more info on the whole Ganley outfit before I even drove there from Pennsylvania.
