I don't understand why people are so upset with this place... Me and my lovely wife was extremely please with the Service provide with the Sales Director, Sales Manager and the Financial Manager everything when smooth I submit everything from their website suggested by Honda America Financial Corp. 30 minutes later I got a call from Tito Perez (Internet Sales Director) by the time we arrive at the dealership all paperworks are ready for us than Tito walk us to the lot and show us the CIVIC EX-L my wife love it than we went back inside to see what option we have. Anyway everything was so easy going we came back the next day because Tito need some information from us, than we choose the CIVIC EX model and Confirm their inventory they have it... The next day we back to the dealer than Tito have the paperworks ready and he was calling again to Honda American Financial to see if they approve for the EX model because they give me the LX model after 15 minutes later I receive a call at my cellphone from Honda American Financial to confirm couple of personal information and we are done we saw the KEY FOB and the User manual on Tito table and the EX was outside park at the front door it was so beautiful.. Than our final step we went into a office to meet with Steve Sales Manager to pre finish some paper works 10 minutes later we went into another office we meet Massed Financial Manager to sign all contracts and DMV papers and we are DONE Tito walk us to the vehicle and he help us to setup our iPhone and we are done.Thank You Honda Dublin and Honda American Financial Team... you guys are AWESOME.

Was working with a very nice salesman and then the Senior Sales Representative took over. He was very rude and condescending. I kept telling him what I was looking for and he wouldn't listen. I left and went to a different Honda dealer and had a great experience and bought a car.

Salesman was horribly pushy! We were clear on our wants but he was insistent on putting us in the exact opposite. We wanted to test drive and had to stand and wait for him while he couldn't open car after car after car. Having just had foot surgery, I told him standing this long wasn't going to work, but to no avail. Then when he finally brought the car around he insisted we walk and stand and walk some more around the whole vehicle while he pointed out things that were obvious ("this is how you open the trunk"). FINALLY start the test drive and he talks the whole time about himself! Worst dealer experience I've ever had.

On Feb 12, 2016 I had my Honda Fit serviced to have the brake pads replaced and the transmission fluid changed. Dolores in the service department assisted me. I brought the car in at 7:00 in the morning and she said that it would be ready by 4:00. At about 9:30 I received happy news that the rear brake pads did not need to be replaced. I received a call at 12:00 to say that the car was ready to be picked up. To me they were honest an reasonably priced as I did some checking on the Internet and by calling around. Dealerships are a tad more expensive but they do give you peace of mind knowing that the work was done right with quality parts. I would highly recommended them. I want to note that I work in education and am no way affiliated with the dealership or anyone who works there.

I came to express oil change service about 10am and I realize my car needs couple of recommended services. I came to see service advisor-Brad Bailey if he can do the services without appointment the same day and he was kind enough to do them and even gave me a car loaner for the day to do my errands. He is courteous, helpful and explained to me in detail the job involve with prices. The job was completed as promised. I am satisfied with the service and will continue to see BRAD on my car services even with the extra miles drive. I am a 50m accross the bridge customer

We have been a Honda family for over 16 years. We brought our 2013 Honda Accord for a simple oil change and the Express Service manager, "H", did not hesitate to recommend: a 30k maintenance service ($650), 2 front tires replaced because a nail was found in one tire (recommended we get two front tires $275), tire rotation ($20).We were told the passenger front tire had a nail in it and for $47 could be patched but would eventually the unsafe tire would need to be replaced. Initially agreed to have a new tire replacement if price matched with Costco. Service Guy continued to say that it best be we buy two (2) front tires instead on one (1) so we could enjoy balanced feel on the road on two (2) front tires. After some bantering back and forth, we decided only for the oil change covered by a Honda Care Plan and a tire rotation. We were beginning to sense this Service Guy really was not completely transparent (honest) but out to drum up business anyway possible and my hubs and I looked like easy marks being senior citizens and kind a slow on the uptake. We signed off on the $20 tire rotation and was told before we hit the door, that the nail puncture hadn't caused any leak. Huh? What???? We were bantering like the tire was about to explode on the road with the nail in it????We left Honda Service Center and asked the Livermore Costco Tire Guy if we indeed needed two (2) new front tires. He found that there was a tiny nail that didn't make a complete puncture (no leaks!) and that we had 80% tread left and he wouldn't make the same recommendation the Honda Service guy made. Bottomline: too premature for new tires. Save your $$$ and go get yourself some Costco hotdogs and some good snacks.Grrrrrr. Beware of those who only want to make a fast buck and don't really have your best interest at heart.I gave an extra star for charm anyway because the Gold Digging Oil Service Guy.

I scheduled a service appointment for 7:30 a.m. We just moved to Northern California from Southern California. When I scheduled the appointment, I also arranged for a loaner vehicle. I explained to the Honda representative with whom I made the appointment that I had to have a car at 7:30 a.m. in order to make an 8:00 a.m. meeting. I was told that a car would be waiting for me. When I arrived at 7:20 a.m., I explained the purpose of my visit and asked when I should pick up the loaner car. The service representative told me that it wasn't possible to get a car that early. When I asked why I was told otherwise, he began deriding me, even going so far as to question the veracity of my statements. I was shocked by this representative's hostility, rudeness, and demeaning attitude. After a few minutes with this person, I elected to leave without getting service. I've owned four Honda vehicles. My family has owned 13. Although this experience won't drive me away from Honda, it will ensure that I never visit Dublin Honda again, either to have a car serviced or to buy a new Honda. I'd much rather drive more miles and deal with someone who properly represents the Honda brand than to deal with Dublin Honda again. Good riddance.

There's a reason why I don't buy honda but my son wanted one. So we went to Dublin Honda. Salesman was great, no pressure however when it was time to finalize the papers, the problems started. I can't believe it took us 4 hours to get it done after filling out 3 applications. Then two weeks later I received a call to go back and redo the papers. Since I lived quite a distance and couldn't get there right away, they fed ex it to us. I went ahead sign it and send it back. The next thing I know they are calling my son threatening to reposes the car. Why are they calling him when I'm the one on the loan? Go figure. Why am I at fault for their incompetency??? Ive purchased many cars in the past but never have I experienced such incompetency with the dealings of purchased papers. BTW, while waiting for the final papers they didn't even offer anything and we were waiting from 11 am to 3 pm. They could have just say go have lunch and the papers will be ready when you get back, they just kept saying it's almost done.

To begin with I left 6 comments on the "ASK KEN" website with ZERO response. I guess I was foolish thinking Ken Harvey was actually going to read them, and answer. (Instead I got emails asking when I want to come in and do a test drive.) ?This is my recent cash purchase experience at the Ken Harvey Dealership over the Memorial Day weekend. (Saturday May 23rd to be exact.) Mind you this my 7th Honda purchase. So I am a faithful repeat customer. When Vincent and I settled on the car purchase of a 2016 Honda HR-V EX, he informed me that the car I wanted, was being switched with another dealership, and that it would be awhile before it got there. He failed to mention how long. It wasn't until I went in to sign the paperwork, an hour later, I was told it would be a few hours. I spent over 6 HOURS at the dealership that day. I would have gone home had I known. During that time Vince never checked in with me, unless I had him paged. (The sweet gal working the front desk did, so kudos to her.)I guess I can live with the long wait, but what I can NOT live with, and the more important topic, was my 2010 CR-V EX trade-in. I knew going in that the Kelly Bluebook was $16,800 for a Dealer trade in, or $18,900 if I sold it on my own. So I really thought my request for $16,000 was a fair trade-in. Vince told me because it was a late model, he could only give me $14,500 tops. He went on to say that he wouldn't be able to sell it for much more than that. (Mind you I kept that car in pristine condition, just spend $800 on BRAND NEW TIRES, and it only had 23,000 MILES. I also included the recently purchased cargo tray and cargo cover, extra set of unopened wiper blades, and all the maintenance records..oil change every 3,000 miles, and their original MRSP window signage.) * Anyway, image my SHOCK less than a week later, I see my car posted on their "Used Car Lot" for $19,883. Stock# 122932 VIN: JHLRE3H59AC009213. WOW... isn't honesty the best policy? So I requested them to "make things right" with me. Asking for at least a $1,500 CREDIT back, is not unreasonable. They would still make a profit off my trade in. As mentioned 6 emails later on ASK KEN, I have yet to hear from them. ~ Maureen

Our initial experience with the dealership was okay and we were able to negotiate a price for a certified used Odyssey we were happy with along with the trade-in price for our vehicle. We left the vehicle to have five "To-Do" items completed with the agreement to return with payment in full. Nobody from the dealership contacted us over the next eleven days with an update! We had to call ourselves and only Tammy in Service seemed to care or help, even though it wasn't actually her responsibility. After calling three different people to check and double-check that the car was truly ready, we drove 1 1/2 hours to discover that only two of the five items were done and one of those not to our satisfaction. Additionally Tim (our salesman) and Sam (sales manager) said they decided not to honor another item on the list at all as originally promised. In the end we chose to cancel the transaction. After being told so many lies by so many different salesmen our confidence in this dealership was thoroughly shattered!

I needed a car that gets better gas mileage. Sceptical about hybrids but happy about what I learned here. The Civic Hybrid I purchased gets great gas mileage and the sales staff was wonderful. I got a great deal on the car and my poor sales guy had to teach me how to use everything. I had not had a new car in several years. He was very patient and knowledegable. I will be back for service. Very Happy!

My husband and I went to this dealership hoping to purchase a Metal Metallic Honda Odyssey Touring we saw online (I see that it's still not sold yet and still currently listed on cars.com). The internet sales manager, Will De La Cruz, was completely rude to us. He didn't answer any of our questions and when we took the car for a test drive he acted like we were wasting his time because we went for another round since there was a vibrating noise from the dash board when you sped up the car and the alignment was off to the left. His answers consisted of "I don't know" and replies with questions of "Do you want the car or not?" or "Are you going to buy the car?". When we sat down to work out the purchase price he told us the car had been sitting in their lot since June of 2014 but was not willing to lower the price even though we saw another car earlier at another dealership with the exact same features, lower mileage, and $2,000 less in listing price compared to Dublin Honda's price. We had intentions of purchasing the car since we drove an hour and half down to pick it up but because of the rude customer service we received from Will De La Cruz we decided to not give them our business. I wouldn't recommend this dealership to anyone. They have the worst customer service I've ever experienced and I would expect the same bad customer service if a car was ever purchased from there that later needed servicing.

Went in for an alignment using express service at 5pm on a Wednesday . No line. No cars in bays. Wow. Went to counter. After two employees finished their conversation, not business related, one asked to help. He was friendly and responsive. Got my info and said it would be about an hour but would inform me if it was earlier since I was going to look around at cars. Came back to waiting room in about 45 minutes. Read a little and it was ready. Paid and asked for explanation of readings. Curt answer: it was in red but now in green. Could of done better on explaining. Since I was the only customer there, could have taken a little time with me, but choose not to. Close to closing time tho. Overall good experience but a little more emphasis on the customer might be good. Overall pleased.

First time in this dealership, thought it would be a good thing to support local retailers. First sales guy was ok, friendly, attentive, we told him up front that we were just "out to test drive", and "not looking to buy today, as we just started looking a new cars". He responded "no problem", and offered to let us test drive a car. We drove two different cars, a Civic EX and a Civic Si, the first time he went with us, the second, asked for my phone number (as another reviewer posted) and CDL#, which I gave him and he allowed us to take the Si out without him. We came back after a test driving the vehicle and we went to drop off the car, the salesman asked us to come sit down, but this time we sat with the "shifty salesman", he first started asking if we had a car to trade in, we said we could consider trading in an older honda, we gave him the make model, year, and mileage, and he started rattling off "it costs us this much to take in a trade-in, and this cost to transfer it, and this cost to do this, and this cost to do that, etc... Which I totally didn't care to hear, knowing he was just justifying what he would be able to give to us for our trade-in (yeah I'm so nieve and gullible), and proceeded to tell me my trade-in was worth $600!!! Towards this new Civic purchase, this of course, after he ranted and raved about how "Hondas hold their resale value", blah blah blah, obviously not if you're trading it in here!! It was quite disturbing to say the least, so much so, I knew I would not be purchasing anything from this guy, he lost me at "it costs us...." The first guy was good, the "closer" was a typical "I'm doing you a favor", "you'd be making a mistake buying it from someone else" type guy, total turn off. It's sad that this had to happen this way, if you tell someone you are "not buying today", then he should have passed that information on, instead of leaving me with a good feeling and experience to maybe come back again later, it made me want leave. Hope you learn from this Dublin Honda, I watched you remodel and make it look like such a nice place, but you're not going to gain business if things don't change soon!

I was early for my appointment, but they took me in and I received a ride back via the shuttle service to my work. However, on the way back, seems there was a miscommunication by the drive and the service person Brad, so I was actually called by the driver and picked up to the dealership when the van I had put in service was not ready. I had to go back to work and then be picked up again 1.5 hours later. Put a dent in my workflow, as I'm a busy person at work. However, I do understand the good intentions involved, so I wouldn't consider it too much of a bad thing there. I just think there should be a better process of communication between the service person and the driver so that they understand which customer they are talking about as being done. They referred to a customer as "the second customer with 510 area code" which to me makes zero sense. How about using the customer name or the full phone number? In any case, otherwise, service was great. They accommodated an extra request to cut a new key, and rotate tires. The only downside was the miscommunication I mentioned, which the driver felt bad about. Again, best intentions all around, I just hope that doesn't happen again.

It is great to have the same outstanding service time after time. I brought my Honda in for an express oil change - Burke immediately greeted me, told me how long the wait would be, ensured I knew the service and charges required, and they went to work. Once the service was completed, Burke went through the report and recommendations with me and ensured I was completely satisfied with the work. Can't ask for a better experience, and it's always the same - outstanding! Please pass my thanks to Burke and the maintenance technicians!

It's like taking a little vacation while getting your car fixed. The lobby is very relaxing with FREE tea, and A WIDE T.V.! I feel like I'm at a spa and I always come out feeling less stressed than when I come in. They know how to treat their customers. I purchased my 2004 used Honda here some years ago and ever since, have had exemplary service. This recent visit proved to exceed my expectations because the service advisor, Rylan H. was particularly helpful, conscientious and thorough with respect to what my vehicle needed and did not need in order to provide a custom quote that would not overcharge me. I find this to be not only honest but fair and in keeping with high quality customer care. The mechanics seem to always do a superior job and the Hertz rental car agent (I don't know his name) is always friendly, fast and accommodating. Overall, I give Dublin Honda a "5" and would give more points if I could! It's often a pain and inconvenient to have to get your car serviced but due to the quality staff at Dublin Honda, it's really stress free and all work is done in a timely manner. My minivan was brought in to repair what I thought was a rattling or defective rear strut on my 2011 Odyssey Touring model. I made the appointment by phone and was able to get in the next day as I had hoped. Service Advisor Ryland Hartnett greeted me and took the appropriate information regarding my visit. He took careful notes and said he would contact me after the tech inspects the vehicle. When Rylan called, the news was that the strut was working properly and that no rattle was heard. Because I was still concerned, Rylan asked if he could keep the car overnight to look at it again. I left the car and was called the next morning after some lubricating by the tech and Ryland's personal on board test ride. He again confirmed that the noise was absent and the hatch was working properly. When I picked the car up, Ryland said there would be no charge, a free inspection had been completed, and the car had been washed. And, after my test drive, the noise was in fact gone! The tech even removed a rear panel to inspect for anything loose and came up with nothing--even after their functional and visual inspections showed the struts to be working correclty. My best guess is that the lubrication of the seals and components made the difference., Rylan was quick to tell me not to hesitate to call if the noise returns--a gesture I thought was just another example of good customer service. This was my second visit to the Service Department, each for different reasons but in both cases, I was given the 5 start treatment.

I went there looking for a specific used car that I saw online. My wife and I parked and approached the front door. I spotted a salesman, and began describing the used car I saw in the online ad. The first words out of his mouth were, "So why don't you want a new car?" Just frustrating. Why can't this clown just bring me to the car that I asked him about. Of course, he claims that he doesn't know if they have it, and he points in a direction and says, "go look over there, you should find it." Meanwhile he takes my drivers license and goes and gets the keys. Of course we couldn't find the car that was online, but we chose a similar car to test drive. 10 minutes later he shows up with the keys. The first thing he does is ask for my phone number. Because I already had a bad feeling about this dealership (lots of negative reviews online) and the salesman, I ask him why he needs my phone number. I know they are trying to build a database of leads for calling later. He claims that the phone number is needed because, "it's just for standard insurance purposes." I know this isn't true. I say that I would rather give him my e-mail address. He insists that the they need my phone number. I turn to my wife and say, let's go. Just walked away. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

I have been taking my cars to have them serviced at Dublin Honda for over 20 years. Everyone has always been very friendly and never pushy about recommended repairs that didn't have to be done immediately. Most of the time, the final bill has actually been less than the original estimate. I started going to Dublin Honda because I worked in San Ramon and it was convenient. I live in Union City and no longer work in San Ramon, and have twice been given a free rental car due to the inconvenience of travelling so far to bring my car in for service. They also offer a complimentary car wash, which is very nice.

In for express service, discovered additional service was required. Maintenance was immediately set in motion, and a ride home via the dealer shuttle was arranged. Later Arthur, the shuttle driver, contacted me to inform me my car service was complete and he was on his way to pick me up. He ensured I was okay with stopping for another customer on the way to the dealership; when we arrived at the dealership, my car was ready and I was driving home within minutes.Could not have asked for a better service experience - friendly and top-notch service at a busy time of the year.

Was having the worst morning possible until SK assisted me. It turns out Dublin & Tracy locations are sister facilities! It's no wonder! The customer service right from the start was GREAT!! I am so happy!I had services at 4 other Honda dealerships in the past and didn't have a pleasant experience. I only get my Accord serviced at Tracy Honda even if I have to do the 1 hour drive. Now knowing there is a "sister" Honda much closer to me, I am looking forward to taking my car to Dublin Honda. Just in case if your wondering why I'm not taking my car to my preferred dealership, it is only because I needed to tow my car closer from home.Thank you SK for your assistance, you've been wonderful! And now I'm not so stressed.

Like the others said here, this dealership is a joke. We have been eyeing a car here for a couple days. My wife and I finally decided to make the purchase. I called the dealer that morning and spoke with a "Shah". Right off the bat I knew this guy didn't have it together. I SPECIFICALLY gave him the stock number of the vehicle we were interested in and had to repeat it three times. Each time he came back with, "We have 2 of them available". Finally he repeated the stock number I gave him and said, yes we have it. So my wife and I drove 90 minutes to make a deal on the vehicle. They brought the car around and it wasn't even close to the one we inquired about. I asked him to repeat the stock number I gave him and he was totally off.Shah got his manager who then came out and said the car sold two days ago. These sales people are ridiculous. "Shah" was more interested in trying to get me in there than actually listening. STAY AWAY from this place. This dealership is full of dishonest scammers who cannot be trusted. The only thing I am relieved about is we didn't make our purchase through them. Lord knows what kind of vehicle I would have ended up with. Ken Harvey....time to do some house cleaning! Your staff is a joke. I was able to pick it up after being there 15 minutes. Not even an apology for wasting 3 hours of our day.

I bought a 2-year old Honda CR-V from this Dublin Honda a couple of weeks ago. Initially I drove back one which my wife didn't like. I was able to bring it back. Their Sales managers were very nice and they let me switch to another CR-V both my wife and I liked. It was a great place to buy a certified Honda used car!

I went to the Honda Dealership for the morning reverse rattle on my 2008 Civic.Seiryta Khem also know as S.K. was very helpful and kept the car for reproducing the problem. Travis the service technician noticed the noise and started troubleshooting the issue, the issue was hard to fix as the noise was only present in the morning and when in reverse, but S.K was always willing to help and did his best to get the issue fixed. finally after a few trips the front passenger motor mount replacement fixed the issue.I have heard many complaints from people where such small noises/rattles are ignored by other dealers but S.K was very helpful and got the job done. Thanks

Had my wife's 2005 Honda Pilot in for minor servicing on Dec.28,2012. Was told that 2 front engine mounts were in need of replacing. I have driven 4x4 off-road vehicles for over 20 yrs, over all types of terrain, and have never heard of this before with a vehicle having only 75,000 miles, and no off road driving, but after doing a search on the internet, apparently it is quite common for Honda Pilots and very expensive to fix, and amazingly the new ones are supposed to last 125,000 miles? My wife drives less than 10,000 miles per year, and babies this vehicle, and we do regular maintenance. From the number of complaints I have read on the internet, this should be considered a defect, and a recall item. Was also told brakes front brakes needed replacing. However,It's what I wasn't told that was most shocking. We have always gotten our vehicle serviced at the dealership, we bought it from, but today saw an advertsed special at a nearby shop. We decided to save $130.00, and have the brakes fixed there. and after having an inspection done, was shocked to learn that my engine air filter was filthy, and in need of replacing, my spark plugs were very badly fouled and the ceramic worn and burned, the cabin air filter was very dirty, the control arm bushings were cracked and worn, and my transmission is in bad need of servicing. How is this possible? Just over 1 month after servicing, and less than 1000 miles later. Yet my multi-point vehicle inspection shows none of this stuff in the caution or failed part of the inspection report. Doesn't leave me with much faith in Honda's "Peace of Mind" World Class Inspection report, they attatched to my bill.

I bought an Accord LX sport today. I have to say this was one of the better car buying experiences I had in a while. There was no pressure and Robert took extra time to explain every detail in the car and was very helpful. I also did a trade in and the sales manager brought out the Blue Book print out and showed me what the car was worth, which I had already seen before I went in, so it was good to see that they were in line with what my trade in should be worth. They were able to match the APR given by my credit union and worked out a good payment plan for me. I had my family in there 2 kids and wife and everyone was pleasant while my kids ran around and caused a muck. I would return here to buy another car in the future.

I took my vehicle here for a minor repair to the interior of the car. They botched the repair and I had to come back a few months later to have it repaired again. They kept my car much longer than needed (since they broke something else while trying to fix it). Then they returned the car to me. When I got the car back, they had broken something else and I took it back for another repair. That repair was done incorrectly and I had to turn the car around and bring it back to the dealership again.... see the trend here? Their service department is not reliable and I am sitting here wondering what else they might have broken in my car that I haven't noticed yet.

5 stars for Dona Ronzone! We had recently replaced our battery and the loss of power automatically triggered the ani-theft device that requires you to input your audio code - otherwise there will be no radio or clock. She overheard another service rep tell me that it would cost $68 for Dublin Honda to pull out my radio to find the code. I became one disgruntled customer. Dona came out to my car and told me that she could help - and she did. She pushed a couple of buttons on our radio, went inside and looked something up on the computer, and came back and input it into our radio. It works thanks to her knowledge and her willingness to walk a few extra steps to our car and back. THANKS DONA - WISH THERE WERE MORE SERVICE REPS LIKE YOU!

Hi, My accord dashboard showed B1 service so I called to make a appointments. Here is my bad experience: The appointment taker said it would take 1 hour for B1 service so I gave 2 hour window and arranged my other things. When I showed up at service dept. The advisor said I need 60K service, not the B1 showed on my dashboard. the price is $599 (or $589) and will take 3-4 hours. I asked him why don'r the dashboard show 60k service, he gave me too many reasons to remember. Then I told him I already scheduled other things, don't have 3-4 hours today. He said the B1 service will take at least 3 hours. Very suprising!!! because he showed me the 60k service will include B1 and plus a lot more, but they take almost the same time?? Don't you fell suspecious???? I left off course, not only because I don't have enough time, but also about his answer about how long it will take, from the list of things they will do, the 60k service includes the B1 servce , plus many extra things, but take same time to finish???? To be certain, I call Honda headquater, their answer is that the dashboard is accurate. Also called other honda dealers nearby, the 60K service price varies from $150 to $260 less than Dublin Honda!!! So nothing seem right, wrong hours, wrong service and higher price for something you don't need.

This is the pot of gold where dealerships are concerned. I can't say enough about how happy I was to work with David at Dublin Honda. I got great customer service, a great car I'm really happy with, and an incredible offer on a car I was selling (a full 50% more than a competing dealership). Everything about this dealership is commendable -- the people who work there, their work ethic, and the lack of pressure you get when you're looking. It's everything you could want from a car buying experience.

Walked around for 15 minutes and I received no help whatsoever. Finally I went up to one of the salesmen (who was just talking to his co-workers) and asked for help. Looked at a new civic I had seen online advertised at a low price. I test drove the car, after waiting 10 minutes for the salesmen to "look for the keys" (more like flirting with the receptionist). After I test drove the car I went inside to negotiate the price. Being prepared I printed out the ad I had seen on cars.com as well as their online website. Before I showed the ad, the salesmen came with a figure that was $2500 above the online price. Once I saw that I showed him the ad, and to my amazement he didn't honor the price and gave me an excuse saying it was a different car (really? the VIN # matched!). After that he started grilling me on how I should buy the car and how no where else had a better price then them. After sitting their and being bombarded with crook-like salesmen techniques I just left. If I wanted to buy a car for retail, I would've went to any other dealer, but I was trying to save a few thousand dollars which is why I drove there. For a good week, the price of the car stayed the same online but I didn't bother going again. Why you ask? Because they kept calling me stating the same exact price and that they would work with me and lower it by $500. So tonight, after purchasing my car at CONCORD HONDA, I went online to see if anything had changed for the vehicle I had planned to purchase originally and the answer to that is Yes, it did change. However it was listed $1000 higher then it was last week, but it was still lower then the ACTUAL price that they will give you at the dealer. These guys are SCAM ARTISTS who place a very good price on their site just to entice you to go their so they can peer-pressure you into purchasing a car.

I came here to look at a Used Honda Accord. I walked around the lot for about 10 minute's trying to look for the car I saw online but to no avail. At this point I'm walking back to the dealership building and there is no one even trying to help me. I looked around and noticed only one other customer and 3-4 dealers standing in front of the building just chatting away not even attempting to help anyone of us. At this point, I'm a little annoyed of the dealership but I knew the car I was looking at was a good deal so I decided to put my frustration to the side and ask the dealer if they had the car I was looking for. They said they did and it was in the back. After confirming that the car I was looking for was there they agreed to bring in to the front to let me look at and test drive. Once they brought the car from the back they told me that "it had not been processed or cleaned yet, but it will all be done before we deliver it to you". In my head, I was like "what is going on here" because on the website it stated that the car was a "perfect 10" "immaculate, spotless, etc". However, the car was none of that. What made it more interesting was that the back bumper was dented and scratched up so badly that there was no way I was going to make a deal for the car even if they fixed it because of their FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. Conclusion: Stuck up and rude dealers, and FALSE ADVERTISEMENT.

We were in the market for either a Fit or an Insight. We knew that the most important thing for us was gas milage, as we drive a lot, so the Insight was our first choice. However, we were more familiar with the Fit - as you see so many out there, and almost no Insights out there.Roberto was great! He literally let ourself explore both cars for as long as we needed, but was always there right when we had a question. He was very knowledgeable of both cars, and made us feel like we were dealing with a family member (really!).After a lot of pressing-here, moving-that, looking-there... and a asking a lot of questions to Roberto... we decided to go with the Insight! And at the buying time, Roberto felt more like our personal lobbyist rather than a salesman. He was always on our side trying to give us the best price matching prices we had found on the internet previously, and helping us work with the financing rep within our own limitations.I highly recommend Dublin Honda - I'm sure other salesman there are great too... but just ask for Roberto, he's outstanding!

Our experience at Dublin Honda (and particularly with Roberto Velasco) was outstanding. We didn't plan to purchase a new Pilot for another few months but wanted to start doing our homework, test driving, etc. Dublin Honda was our first stop -- and our last! Roberto greeted us immediately but unlike other dealers/dealerships, we didn't feel the uncomfortable pressure from Roberto to purchase right then and there which we liked. Roberto was very friendly and made us feel like family. Right away, we knew we were in good hands. With Roberto's help, we ended up purchasing a new 2011 Honda Pilot and we couldn't be happier! Roberto was with us every step of the way and has also made it very clear to us that he's there for us anytime we need him in the future -- he wants to take good care of us and our car needs because he considers us part of his Honda family. Roberto, thank you!! We're very pleased with our experience and are in love with our new Pilot. We're confident that if it wasn't for the great experience and attention you gave us, we wouldn't have purchased a car that day.

I know I am forgetting somethings here becuase I bought a car here back in May and I am doing the review here in June... The sales guy tried to persuade me towards an MDX which I was not familiar with. He knew I had to replace a vehicle right away and kept pushing about how this car was so great and would sell in an instant. He told me they just got this car in and it was coming out of the car wash, it wasnt even ready for the lot yet, but it was in mint condition, EVERYTHING worked and was top notch certified. He also told me the gas mileage was 27 mpg or so (turns out it was 17mpg).He told me the car was $16,000 event thought I only wanted to spend $10K to $12K and that he couldnt come down because so just couldnt keep those on the lot. I told him to come down and he wouldnt. Finally he gave in by $500. I had a gut sense that I should not get the car but walking on foot was a worse option. I noticed rust on the hood and asked if he would fix it because it could eat the metal and make things worse and he said okay. I made a point to say the rust needed to be removed and he said his crew knew all about it and they would treat it with a chemical and rub it out before they painted it.I financed the car through Dublin Honda. The finance guy was very nice and easy to work with. I was not approved at what the sales guy said I would be because of the age of the car. I got a service agreement for two years incase there were issues with the car.I go to the lot to get the car and they did the worst patch paint job in the world. The finance guy said, That looks awful and touched it so the paint came off. The rust was untreated underneath. I took it home and started noticing things were wrong with it such as the seat warmer not working, the vent grills were missing, and a few other things were wrong with the window and a few things I can remember. I let it go because it was a used car but the salesman had said it was all working. I looked online to show the car style to a friend via e-mail and the search resulted in me finding the same car LISTED for $14,000. The salesman ripped me off. I took the car back and told them I wanted all my money back. I didnt want to do business with them every again. I felt taken advantage of due to my situation. They are the reason why used car salesmen have a bad name. I had another friend that had issues at this dealership and had to bring in her lawyer. I wouldn't do business here ever again.I had a fantastic experience buying a car from Hayward Toyota Scion and would recommend people to go their first and speak to Mark. 510-889-8000 x200.

Roberto is fantastic. This is the second car I purchased from Roberto in two years. In this case, I came specifically to Roberto at Dublin Honda without even checking other dealers. I moved since my last car purchase but still drove 40 miles because I know I'll get the best deal and best treatment from Roberto. The vehicle I wanted was not in stok or available on the day of purchase (Memorial Day) so Roberto arranged a loaner for me and delivered my car, personally, to me at work more than 45 miles from the dealership on his day off (he had to bring his child)! I came to Dublin Honda for an oil change. I was greeted by Preston, who took the time to check and see if there were any other maintenance issues that needed to be addressed. Preston was friendly, cheerful, and extremely professional, as always. The service work was completed quickly, in less than 30 minutes. In addition, Preston realized that no brake work had been done in a considerable amount of time. He had the brakes checked and determined that they would need to be replaced in the not too distant future. This is the kind of "Attention to Detail" that I appreciate. It speaks volumes about Dublin Honda and is the reason why they are the only ones I trust with my Odyssey van. I am in the market to buy a car for my daughter and I will buy it from Dublin Honda !

I bought a car from Dublin Honda and the Salesperson was Roberto Velasco. He was very helpful and friendly. He explains things very thoroughly and makes sure that you understand everything.I am very satisfied with my new deal. He has excellent skills and a good manner. This is actually the 3rd time I'm buying a car from him. He treats you like a family and that makes you feel very comfortable. It has been a great experience for me. I intend to buy another car from him when my son is ready to drive. Thank you Roberto!

S.K. was so professional and helpful. My first experience with S.K. occurred back in December when I had my battery replaced at another facility and the battery being out for over an hour had disabled my radio. When I drove my Civic to Dublin Honda, S.K. was so friendly to come out and help me get my radio working again after re-setting something under the hood. Because of his friendliness and professionalism, I decided to bring my Civic back in April for a major service. I received top notch service from S.K. and appreciated his honesty in telling me what my car needed, while not trying to sell me any more than what my car needed. My 15 year old Civic has not run any better.

Excellent in all respects. David Ragonese is friendly, never pushy or over bearing. Simply helpful. Outsanding knowledge of my Ridgeline, Honda and the Dublin dealership. As I can be quite inquisitive, David allowed me to thoroughly look over and tinker the Ridgeline that I had already done extensive research on (features, price, etc.). A rather deliberate vehicle shopper and buyer, I was never pushed to "move along" and buy. No aggressive pricing, extended warranty hype, etc. Each cost (vehicle price, doc fee, registration, etc.), was clearly laid out in a simple easy to read format. ZERO surprises and NO smoke and mirrors. Paperwork process was the smoothest I have had over the decades of vehicle purchases. Dublin Honda and David provided a very pleasant experience...friendly and fair:-)

SK and Kipp in Service are always very friendly and helpful... and they don't make fun of me for always being out of alignment. LOL Instead of just doing a band-aid fix on my driver door molding, SK noticed that the molding itself was warped and any type of repair would have been futile. Thank you, SK (and Kipp too)! You guys are great! Kristen

The Dublin Honda facilities in Dublin are some of the nicest around. The site is very clean and well kept from landscaping to garage facilities to the bathrooms - it's all 5 stars. They offer free wifi so you can be productive (or goof around) while you wait for your vehicle to be fixed or prepared. Everyone at Dublin Honda is very friendly and professional. Mr. Preston always takes the time when I bring my son to talk to him. One time, he even gave my son a quick tour of the garage facilities which made my son's day. Speaking of children, they have a small play area and lounge for children as well. For me, no visit is truly complete unless I window shop some of the new models that Honda has to offer. For that, I pay a visit to Mr. Roberto in sales. Mr. Roberto has always been friendly and personalble to me and my son. If you didn't figure it out by now, my son LOVES Honda cars, trucks, and mini-vans - he's only 5. I'd be torn between the facilities at Dublin Honda and following Mr. Preston or Mr. Roberto if they ever left Dublin Honda. I marked price down a bit because, as with any dealership, you can find cheaper prices on car repairs and maintenance. That should NOT be a mark against Dublin Honda. I know that dealerships will tell you that they do so much more and that's the reason for the extra cost, but some of the "frills" I don't need for that extra cost. That being said, while I did mark down the price, the service team actively looks for ways to save me money, and the sales guys are pretty nice even when negotiating on prices. I own three Honda vehicles. One was purhcased from Dublin Honda. I only buy a car from the dealership that will earn my business and give me the best deal. My mother purchased a vehicle from Dublin Honda back in 1980 as well and she was happy with their service even back then. One last item to mention. Dublin Honda offers free shuttle service while your vehicle is in their care. Unlike some other dealerships, Dublin Honda will not only take you somewhere, but they will also pick you up if you request it. I don't know the frequency of the shuttle or how many they are running - I want to say to shuttles running and every 30 minutes. That's a BIG help when you need to get to and from the dealership to pick up your car. I'll continue doing business with Dublin Honda - both maintenance/repairs and purchasing.

I went to Dublin Honda in hopes of getting into a hybrid and out of the sedan I was driving and also didn't like. I was very straight forward from the moment that Roberto introduced himself. I had a specific situation and he listened to what I wanted/needed and assured me that Dublin Honda was there for me and would be all they could to get me into the Honda I wanted. THEY DID IT!!! I could not be happier with the service that Roberto provided and the time that he spent making sure that I not only drove off in the car I wanted but that I got the right price for me! No one ever imagines your time sitting at a car dealership to be a good time but I actually enjoyed the time that I spent at Dublin Honda and the people that I met while purchasing my new Insight! Thank you Roberto and Dublin Honda, I will recommend you to anyone and everyone in the market for a new car!

This is the best dealership in my area. I have 2 other cars of a different make, but Honda give me the best service. I go 30mls round trip to this dealership instead of the one that is 2 blks from my home, because of their service advisor, Dona. She is the best at keeping up with future maintance of my car so I can get repairs done before it becomes a issue. She keeps in touch with me when my car is being serviced and also is attentive to my needs. It is great to have a women on staff who is both knowledgeable about the Honda Cars and has great customer service. It's been almost 6 years and she still delivers the same outstanding service. My car to date has 210,000 so you know have made many trips to that dealership.I would like to see the dealship give me service to my home. That always is a problem when I take my car in is to get back home. It involves bart, bus and I have to walk 2 blks up a steep hill which takes over an hour and sometimes 2 hours. If they would give me a ride home it would only take 15 mins.

We have three Honda's in our family. We had two Pilots and bought a Honda Accord from Dublin Honda last fall. We just took it in for it's first service appointment yesterday. Worked with Kipp. He was great. Very friendly and easy to talk to. Explained all they would be doing in the appointment. Had us in and out of their in no time. Price was very reasonable. We will be bringing all of our Honda's to this dealership in the future for servicing. We used to go to Winter Honda but after buying a car her and having it serviced, have decided we're more comfortable with the folks in Dublin. Would highly recommend them.

Each time I come to Dublin Honda I'm pleased with how great the service is and how reasonable the price is for maintenance and repair. I have always been warned away from using a dealership to service my car, but I have never had a negative experience there.I've interacted with Brad, Donna and Kip -- I have to say, Kip is my favorite; he's a great guy with a warm smile -- but each of them has done a great job each time I've needed anything done. We recently bought a used Honda for our daughter and immediately brought it to Kip to inspect and get any servicing done.I trust each one of them to tell me what I need and never feel like they push anything on me beyond that. It gives me trust in them to return time after time as my car needs regular maintenance.

I went to test drive a new Honda CR-V and Roberto Velasco greeted us, he is by far the best car sales man I have ever dealt with, very friendly, professional, not a pushy salesman. He simply explained to us how much monthly payments would go up by adding options and let me go home to think about it. We went back a week later and decided on specific car they had in the lot, turned out leather seats were an option in that car which was not added to the sticker price... I told him we don't care for leather in that case; he said what if I can get it for you free or at a fraction of the $2000 upgrade cost? Well he did just that, we got a loaded car for price of much more basic model we were looking at. Roberto Velasco is on your side when it comes to negotiation, we felt completely comfortable during the entire negotiation process and half way through it, I told him how much I appreciate dealing with him and what a great experience it had been at that point. I think we were so lucky to have him as our salesman, and Dublin Honda should also be happy to have him on their staff! We went to Dublin Toyota and it was a quick visit, left quickly, didn't feel comfortable with their sales guys at all. I give Roberto Velasco a PERFECT 10 score and if you are considering buying a Honda, it is worth your time and drive to go to Dublin Honda and ask for him.

We have bought two cars from Dublin Honda in the past 5 years. Yesterday, my wife, my daughter, and I stopped by to look at the cars because we were thinking about trading one of our cars in the near future. Mr. Roberto Velasco met us at the door and offered to show us any car we wanted to see. His customer-oriented attitude and courtesies were quite obvious; we felt no pressure to buy, we just felt at ease and welcome. After he showed us several cars, we decided to look at another car that met our needs more closely, but that particular model was already sold out. So, we began to loose interest, and we mentioned to Rob that we wanted to get some lunch, and that we were going to think and talk more about it (we were not yet really that sure about buying the car). He then asked us about things that were important to us in a car as well as other things we would like to have in it. He did some checking and returned to us with a much better package; an offer we could not resist hearing more about. Needless to say, his offer got better and better throughout the lunch hour, and we could only say yes to his offer. We bought and drove the new car home yesterday; we are very satisfied with the car and so thankful to Rob. In fact, we never met a professional as outstanding as Rob. He covered all aspects of the sale; stayed in tune with us, was very resourceful, very thorough in his work, and followed through even after the sale. Based on the above, we venture to say that he is probably, or has the potential to be, one of Hondas most responsible sales representative.

The best customer service I have experienced in recent memory. Something happened to my car that was no fault of theirs, but they did everything possible to get it fixed and made right for me as soon as possible. Basically what happened was my car window was smashed in and my computer got stolen, and it was my opinion that the alarm didn't go off but I couldn't prove it 100%. I was merely asking them to explain why this may have happened and planned on paying at least for the parts myself. They then explained to me that normally the alarm would go off, but aparently there is a way thieves can break in without trigerring it, and this may have happened. We still don't know for sure exactly what happened with the alarm, but the contacts listed above did more than I thought a dealership would ever even consider doing for a customer in order to show that they really do care. I'm leaving today with a comped rental car and a $0 invoice for all services and parts. Getting my stuff stolen and losing a priceless amount of work was hard to deal with, but to work with people that value my business enough to help me out like this was seriously unbelieveable. I would absolutely reccommend buying a car here to anyone that values good service and a good business realtionship.

I had a really great experience working with Roberto. I had the frame of mind that I wasn't going to buy a car from a dealership. After looking at cars through Craigslist and then at smaller dealer lots, there was no comparison to the experience in working with Roberto at Dublin Honda. I felt like I bought a great car that was thoroughly inspected and most importantly for my budget, I stayed within it. Roberto is not the typical car salesman if you subscribe to the stereotype. He did not act in the least bit rushed and was very personable. He made sure to show me everything on the car and took me for an extended test drive without hesitation. I did not have my trade-in on site and he got me a fair trade-in value for it without even seeing it. When it came time to fill out paperwork, he worked quickly and efficiently so that I could get through it and get on to driving my new car. I brought my folks along to the dealership and he was very friendly and accommodating to their every need. I live in Fresno California and I called on a honda pilot that they have listed on cars.com. Tim Meade the guy I talked to on the phone told me it was still on the lot and that it had the light gray interior that I was looking for. He said that he would have the car gassed up and ready to take for a test drive. He then offered to give me a call if the car sold before we got there. I said yes that would be great since we are driving from Fresno just to look at this car. When we get there we meet with tim the sales manager. What a huge disappointment when he takes 20 minutes to look for the car we called on to finally tell us that they sold it a month ago to the managers daughter. The whole point in calling an asking was to eliminate problems like that. So needless to say I drove 5 hours roundtrip and wasted gas money because he lied and said the car was still there. By the way the car is still listed on cars.com

I was searching for a used car and found one at Dublin Honda. Roberto Velasco was the salesman helping me and he couldn't be a nicer or more friendly person. If I were to buy another car there, I would not hesitate to ask for him again. He helped me feel comfortable, he was very honest, and he did so many "extra" niceties for me that made my experience good. His manager Mark Burden, however, came out to talk to me about car price and I felt he was very rude, condescending, and insulting. In my opinion, Mark Burden should be fired and Roberto should get a promotion, then perhaps I might recommend the dealership to others. If it weren't for Mr. Burden, I would rate my overall experience as great. Every other person I met with and talked to including Mike Loux were exceptionally nice and friendly.

I had a great experience with Tito.I found the used car I wanted on the internet and proceeded to haggle via email with Tito.He gave me a figure close enough to what I wanted to pay so I drove from Sacramento to see the car.I arrived earlier than the appointment time, found an authorized Jaguar mechanic 2 blocks from the dealership and arranged to bring the car to him to look over for me.I then went to Dublin Honda, engaged Tito and arranged to take the car for 2 hours to have it inspected. He agreed readily and so I left the lot with the Jag and took it to the mechanic to give it the once over.He gave it a passing grade so I returned to Honda and met with Tito to agree on a final price. The car had less than a 1/4 tank of gas when I returned. We came to a figure we both could live with and Tito got the approval from management and we closed the deal. Then I went to meet with the finance manager. It was a cash deal and the car didn't qualify for any add on warranties so within 15 minutes I had signed all the paperwork, wrote the check and walked out to pick up the car.By the time I had finished with Tito and the finance manager they had washed the car, removed the lot markings, vacuumed the interior and filled the gas tank for me without being asked. Not including the 2 hours I had the car at the mechanic and test driving it I spent a total of less than 90 minutes on the lot.

Came here with some friends to shop for a used vehicle for a first car/new driver. Nice service here, and David was helpful and seemed to relate to the type of car and the budget a person in my situation would want. Went out of his way to help me find the car I wanted at the cost that I was satisfied with.

A very pleasant experience, not usually the case with dealerships. They will go beyond the call of duty to accomodate your desired payment terms and conditions. This occurs after drive-off!!!I am a female and the recent transaction was conducted by myself.

We came in on a referral to Dublin Honda, and had nothing less than a wonderful experience. These guys rocked it out for us! Steve was super accommodating and structured a deal with in the range that we were able to afford. I never once got the salesman "weaselly" feeling from them. Steve seemed completely genuine and honest with helping us. He got us a great price with a great warranty! Kish was great with explaining all the paper work, and Vince was great making this process go smoothly. We now join the ranks among all the Honda followers! Thanks guys, we love our car!

This is the 2nd car I've purchase from Dublin Honda, and I will most likely buy my 3rd car from them. I've never been hassled or harassed. The staff is very professional and friendly.Instead of getting my car serviced at my local service station I continue to take my car to be serviced at the dealership. they have complete knowledge of my car and will always take the time to see me. I know that they are not trying to get as much money from me as possible and will not do any work that I don't need. The service staff is incredibly thorough and I will always pick up my car knowing that the job needed has been completed and done right the first time.Thank you Dublin Honda!

Honestly, the whole process was simple and over with in and hour and a half. What more could a customer want?. Having all the vehicles information on the website was the greatest advantage any shopper would want, even the Carfax was available. At most other websites you have to pay for it in order to get the info. So when you walk in you have all you need, if you did your homework. thank you

Charles was a very helpful and friendly sales rep. I got the car that I wanted with NO PROBLEMS!! He worked with me on everything that I wanted and he made sure I got what I wanted and then some. I would highly advise that anyone interested in purchasing a car from Honda go to Charles at Dublin Honda. Charles was more like a friend/father figure when I was deciding on my first new car purchase! He was absolutely fantastic!! Alex was the finance manager whom I dealt with. He was very helpful and did a great job of explaining everything to me with patience and in great detail. He helped me to understand everything that I was signing and was able to get me approved for a 0.9% interest rate on my loan, which was awesome!! He went above and beyond for me as did Charles. These two gentlemen are great employees and Dublin Honda is lucky to have them on their staff!

We bought a used Lexus RX 330 from this dealership. They did everything to make sure that we were happy and satisfied with our purchase. There was a problem with the Bluetooth coming thru the speaker, They sent it off to the local Lexus dealer who after 3 weeks could not find the problem. Dublin Honda did not give up and Steve Bado in particular patiently researched the problem and found the solution. I highly recommend this dealership for integrity, customer service and overall satisfaction.

We were researching CRV's and sent an inquiry into Dublin Honda. Rafael quickly responded and told us what he could offer us, asked what we were trading in, and we told him what our credit situation was. We submitted an application online and he got back to us quickly with what they could do, the required down payment and invited us in for a test drive. I told him that my husband's work schedule left us very little to work with in the way of driving to Dublin from Emeryville. He offered to stay late that night, so that we could come in at 8:00 and test drive the car. We dealt with only Rafael as he met us at the door with the car ready to go.We were able to test-drive the car, both myself and my husband taking it for a run. We then asked to see some comparable cars on the lot and he was happy to show us right to them, despite it being freezing cold and past 8:30 at night. We decided to sit down with Alex in finance to see what we could do. I stood my ground on a few issues and made sure that I brought in the numbers that were quoted to me, as well as research about our trade-in (including a quote from another dealer). The process moved very quickly and pretty smoothly. We were out of the dealership before 10:00. 2 hours is all it took, which to me seems unheard of. Best thing is that we got a great deal on the car - managed to get it for quite a bit less than the other dealerships were selling it for.The entire time Rafael was up front with numbers. He never tried to sell us a more expensive car, even when we were considering getting the next model up.We are more than happy with the sales process that Rafael provided to us.

I walked into the dealership looking to purchase a new honda, but i was unsure what vehicle would be a good fit for me. I was approached by a sales manager asking if i had been helped who then directed me to a friendly salesman who helped me to decide which one would be a good fit, i ended up liking the civic that i test drove so i ended up purchasing one and was impressed by the smooth process of the sale and the amount of care and patience i was given by all involved.

We wanted to buy a new SUV because of the product offering, but in our case, we bought a the SUV because of the salesperson- STERLING. He treated us very well, was warm, and friendly, and knew how to listen and service what we needed, and to the best of his ability, tried to get us the best deal. I believe that when it comes down to the numbers, it is sometimes above the sales person's control. So when you wish to find the right salesperson at Honda Dublin to take care of you, just look for Sterling Curry. We got a Honda Pilot Touring from Sterling, because we felt comfortable with him.

I would recommend our salesman, Charles Brummett to all my friends and family who will be shopping for a Honda (new or used). David was great to work with! I came in to Dublin Honda originally to look for a used Honda. We looked around but couldn't find a used Honda Civic with leather. He did a great job of finding me a new Civic on the lot that had everything I wanted and that was still in my price range. Let's just say I'm so much happier with my brand new car that has everything I wanted/ needed! Lastly, Dublin Honda had the incorrect price tag on the car and we figured this out mid sale. David did an amazing job of having his manager stick to the original price tag which saved me almost 1,500! He also gives me a free car wash if I'm around Dublin which is great! Overall my experience at Dublin Honda and with David Reynolds was amazing!

I called them on Sunday, 30 min. before their closing time. Alex answered the phone and my questions. He told me I could come over and take a look at the cars, even after I told him that it would take me 40~50 min. to get there. He also went as far as to go out and actually check if the car I'm looking for is still there, so I don't have to waste my time driving over there just to find nothing. (Which was the case I had a month ago looking for my friend's car.)I didn't have to go all rude on them to get a reasonable price on, now-my, 2009 Used Honda Fit Sport model. This was my first car purchase from a dealer and didn't have a lot of budget nor a credit history, but they were patient and very helpful. I ended up keeping them for 2 hrs after their closing time, but they never rushed me to a conclusion.I never expected my first car buying experience to be this smooth.Alex also noticed couple things (though very minor) that needed to be fixed on the car and made sure that it was taken care of before I picked up the car.But the highlight came couple days after my purchase of this car. They called me up and told me that one of the contract I signed when I bought the car had an error on it. Which was not a big deal, but having to drive back 50min was. But they offered me a tank full of gas so I went (since it was already close to empty from all the joy-driving.) Once I got there, everything was taken care of very smoothly, not having to wait for anything. I was also chatting with Alex about how it rained the day after I bought the car and how the car already got all messy. Then he offered me a free carwash. He also wiped the car off himself to the very last drop.Overall I was really satisfied with the experience I had.Was not expecting this at all while going around all these other either pushy or uninterested Honda dealers.

He walked me through the whole process and I feel like I could buy another car without being so scared next time. When we decided to buy a new car, we knew exactly what we wanted. I did not relish the idea of visiting the dealership and playing the game of having the sales person trotting back and forth between me and the manager (or whoever the mysterious person is behind the scenes) pretending to get me the price I am willing to pay. That was the reason we decided to work out the details online prior to visiting the dealership. Our online contact, Jason Judkins, was genuinely helpful and clear in his efforts to get us the best deal possible in advance of our visit. I didn't know it until we got there and met Jason in person, but we were destined to meet the nicest people at Dublin Honda. I would definitely recommend this dealership to a friend.

Dublin Honda (Mark Burda) was able to beat my bank's (USAA) haggle free price by almost $200 on a 2010 Honda CRV EX-L with Navi. It took a little work, but Mark was gimmick-free and a straight-shooter. I'd buy a car from him again. The service department was incredibly accomodating and efficient. I took advantage of the free rental while they added accessories to my CRV. Steve, the cashier, was super nice and stayed an extra 10 minutes past closing so that I could put gas into the rental (Hertz charges $8 per gallon)...kudos to Steve.

I have purchased three cars from Charles Brummett. One for my ex and two for me. I love Honda cars, both new and used. I'm currently driving around a CR-V and I love it! I've driven it around the country and I put 30,000 plus miles on it each year I've had. I've gotten my oil changed several times at Dublin Honda as well as having my rotors re-serviced. No problems at all and everyone was pleasant and helpful. I'm not a car person so when I asked questions about this, that and the other, the staff has also patiently explained what's what. When I've gone in to have my car serviced, Charles remembers me and always says hi and asks how I've been. I've referred several of my colleagues here and they've had good purchase experience with Charles and his team.

Given that I started my process online with CarsDirect, my car buying experience was already easier than going through the song and dance negotiations that most would dread at the dealership. I already had a set price for my new 2010 Honda Civic (which was already fantastic) so going into the dealership to actually sign my life away and pick my new car up was going to be fairly simple. I was hesitant to deal with Sales Managers and Business Managers and Finance Managers who I anticipated were going to attempt to sell me all the "extra stuff" (extended warranties, gap insurance, accessories, etc) so I came into Dublin Honda pretty strong and set on my choices and was almost looking forward to being stubborn if presented with the opportunity of all the "extra stuff."My experience at Dublin Honda by far exceeded any expectations I had prior to going in. Rafael (Internet Sales Manager) was easy going, friendly, personable, and ensured that my process went as fluidly and smoothly as possible. Instead of making me wait for my paperwork to be processed and waiting to sit with a Finance Manager, he took the time (and was very thorough and knowledgeable) to show me all the details of my new car, test drive, manuals, etc which I found extremely efficient. Next was time to sit down with Chris (Finance Manager) which I presumed would be the time to sell me the dreaded "extra stuff," and sign my little heart away. Chris not only managed to sell me the "extra stuff," but he improved my finance option by a million times the option CarsDirect offered me, and was very patient and thorough with my questions, clarifications, and even hesitations and cynicism.Needless to say, I was able to walk away from this car buying experience with nothing less than a sigh of relief (which was most definitely an improvement from my last experience at a GM dealership in 2005). Thanks Dublin Honda.

I was in need of a new car and was extremely happy with my experience at Dublin Honda. I had spoken with Jason several times on the phone and via email before coming into the dealership to meet with him to make a final decision. Jason was great at explaining the differences between the different models and was so helpful in assisting me in making a final decision on what car best fit my needs, personality, and price. I was so happy that the friendly easy going personality I had experienced from Jason on the phone and via email continued throughout the whole process and did not change once he actually got me to the dealership. With regard to price, which we all know is important, I got a very fair price. I had done my research before coming into the dealership and the final price I got I feel was a great deal. Jason was very honest, not pushy, and really knew what he was talking about and was a pleasure to work with. Once Jason had closed the deal with me he turned me over to the very capable hands of Kish for the finance portion. He was great at explaining the financing options to me and all the other extras. Great to see that the friendly experience I had with Jason continued throughout my experience with Kish. I would highly recommend the great duo of Jason and Kish to anyone in search of a new or used car. Looking forward to my next experience with them in a few years when I go back for my "mommy-mobile".

I got my old Honda Civic from Concord, and since I moved to the Dublin area about 2 years ago I noticed that there was some really competitive pricing going on... I had a coupe, but really wanted a 4-door (I missed a back seat), so I sent out some price requests to the local dealerships...Dublin Honda came back about $100 more expensive or so, but the way Jason talked to me both in email and on the phone made me believe it was worth it to stop searching. (He even told me that there was always a better deal if you wanted to search for months on end...)...Anyway, I went there and had my 2007 civic appraised and while they took it in on a lower blue book than I thought, I still felt it was a fair deal (I almost expected that number)... So I got a quote from their internet department (from Jason), and we did the paperwork... It was a little busy for a weekday, but Jason kept me filled in the whole time, wasn't a big deal really...Anyhow, Kish did my paperwork and was very friendly... He presented a bunch of warranty and clear coat stuff to me, I didn't get them, but he told me I could get them from him anytime. ANyway, it was a great experience, it was my first time encountering their internet deptartment, I guess I understand why people go them instead of the guys who tackle you at the front doors...I'd go back there again, hell, my mom already bought her accord there.

EXCELLENT experience with Honda in Dublin! this great rate is for the 2 gentlemen that helped us when buying my new car! My husband and I dealt with Rafael Terrill, very nice person and, surprinsingly for a sales guy , very understanding to my needs... I give them 5 stars because they made me feel like I was the only customer in the showroom: excellent customer service and they moved really fast with the paperwork. Finished in a couple of hours all together, left with a big smile on our face and will come back for other trade-ins, since we remain faithful to Honda cars (very economic and reliable). Special note about Rafael, he has excellent customer service skills, was not pushy and he listened carefully when we expressed our needs! really enjoyed dealing with him, very high work-etiquette, professional and friendly at the same time. Last Sunday afternoon, my wife, my daughter and I went to visit Dublin Honda to shop around for another family car to replace our 1999 Isuzu Rodeo SUV which had over 100,000 miles. We wanted to buy a Honda because of their top quality reputation. We were trying to decide on buying an Accord or an SUV. We live in San Ramon and the closest Honda dealership is Ken Harvey's Dublin Honda. We went to Dublin Honda to check out the new Accords. I was greeted by Wilson Kwan, one of the nicest car salesmen that I have ever met. He smiled, give me a firm handshake and he acknowledged my wife and daughter. Sunday was hot. He asked us if we would like something to drink. He went inside and he came out with bottled water and soda. I had visited other car dealerships including Toyota and Nissan to compare cars and none of the salesmen offered me something to drink. Wilson explains all the great features of the 2010 Accord. I take an Accord for a test drive and we come back ready to buy the car. As we are walking from the test driven Accord towards the showroom, my wife and daughter want to check out the cute Honda CR-V. Okay, to make the women in my family happy, We ask Wilson if we can test drive the CR-V with leather and navigation. My wife and daughter takes turns test driving the CR-V. They loved the CR-V. The sales manager, Steve Bado, gave us a great price on the CR-V. Three hours after we arrived at the dealership, Wilson drives up with the CR-V, freshly washed. The dealership was busy with other customers buying cars so we had to wait our turn with the finance guy. Wilson showed us how to use the navigation system, handsfree phone link, and radio pre-sets. He also made sure we were aware of the car's tire pressure numbers and where the tire changing kit was located. Wilson gave us a reflective sunshade as a free gift. He said the sunshade was not from the dealership but was his personal gift to his customers. If you want to buy a car without the usual high pressure sales tactics and get a free gift, go ask for Wilson. He is easy to spot. He is the guy who wears the red Honda baseball cap.

Alex lesnar helped me purchase an odyssey for my wife and I. He showed me the difference between the sienna and odyssey. The odyssey outwieght the sienna for us. We carry our dogs with us everywhere go and Alex did a remarkable job of showing us all the benefits of the odyssey has to offer. The negiotation process was very painless. I would recommend to everyone to talk to Alex lesnar the internet manager!! He is by far the best sales person I've dealt with. Great job dublin Honda. I will bring my car in for service.

We went thru the Internet sales department. Within an hour of my email, I spoke with Rafael over the phone. This is our third honda from them . Rafael gave us a very competitive offer on accord lx. We purchased the car the same day. His manager Tito had us out within an hour. Very easy and friendly sales staff. They have a beautiful showroom and lounge. My wife was very pleased with the customer service we received. I will only go thru the Internet sales department at Dublin honda again !!

I purchase my car from Dublin Honda over the labor day holiday. After going to three other dealers and being treated terribly by all of them, cause of being a women by herself, I came across Dublin Honda. I spoke with Tito the sales manager. He was by far the most honest person I met while car shopping. Tito treated me with respect and dignity unlike San Leandro honda, Walnut Creek Honda, and Oakland Honda.. Tito answered all my questions and had his assistant Alex show me all the options on the car. Alex was also kind of nough to show me how to work the navigation system that was on the car. As a single women, it is difficult to find good help cause most people try to take advantage of you. Tito and Alex did not! They made the whole buying process smooth and painless. I will purchase another car from Dublin Honda for my daughter when she turns 16, and it will be through Tito and Alex again.

My vehicle needed a new battery. Fortunately, it was still under warranty. I had no problems being serviced on the same day my vehicle went out on me. On that day, Brad was the service person who explained what my car needed. Brad has been our service person since 1993 and we have always received top quality advice from him for service on our vehicles! I have always felt I could trust his opinion.

I would recommend BURKE in the service department at Dublin Honda. I have been taking my car to Dublin Honda for 3 years for oil changes, brakes and minor issues. Burke has always been wonderful to deal with, he is very customer service orientated. He even provided me with a rental car when my car was at the dealership. Most Honda Dealerships do not do that. He is very customer service orientated and trustworthy. It is hard to find people you can trust in the car industry and he is someone you can trust.

We have an issue with our 98 Honda Civic. The driver's side door latch had broken and the door could no longer be opened even though it was unlocked. We tried to open it from the inside and outside but the handle would not open the door. We decided to bring the car to Dublin Honda. The service department was informative, quick and easy to work with.

I switched from Toyota to Honda 10 years ago and have been dealing with Dublin Honda ever since. I am impressed that the same people have been working there all that time, Donna, Brad, Kipp and Preston. They are all very professional, friendly, and know what they're doing. This last visit I was helped by Kipp and Greg. Kipp was patient and thorough as we tried to figure out why the engine light keeps coming on. He explained the situation thoroughly to me without making me feel like an idiot. The service was done quickly by Greg and I left there feeling like I'd been treated well and would recommend this dealership to anyone.

My scoring reflects the exceptional service provided by my service adviser, Brad Bailey. Not only was he knowledgeable and helpful, he was straight forward providing good information I needed to make several decisions. In addition, he was able to resolve a warranty issue with no involvement from me. SA's showing this level of problem ownership are not common. Usually they want to rack and stack the orders and then go home.I will say that I have been bringing my Ridgeline to Dublin Honda since it was new and the service department has never failed to give at least above average service leaning toward exceptional. They are fast, courteous and communicate well. I do feel they sometimes are pushed to upgrade/upsell services by the service manager but it is our responsibility as consumers to be aware and informed and make good decisions.Overall, a positive experience - FAR better than the local Nissan and (former) Volvo dealerships nearby.

My boyfriend and I went car shopping since my SUV was slowly dying. We ended up at Dublin Honda looking at a used 2008 Chevy Silverado. Roberto was the first one to approached us and ask if we needed assistance. He was very friendly and polite. We advised him we were interested in purchasing a certified used SUV or truck and wanted more information on the Silverado. Roberto went above and beyond helping us purchase our new truck. Between test drives (yes multiple) pulling the Carfax w/o having to ask, never pushing or pressuring us to look at anything we didn't want to and even crunching numbers for us while we ran down to several other dealerships to check out their inventory, Roberto was like a friend; chatting with us about family, jobs, kids joking around and all around enjoyable. As an important side note - I found the exact same truck at a dealership down the road, with less miles for the same asking price but due to the arrogant, RUDE, foul mouthed sales person there who yelled at us when we were leaving - we decided right then that we were going to buy a truck from Roberto based on him and how he had treated us all day. (Plus I fell in love w the truck already) I was nervous about getting financed, both him and the finance manager, Kish Amrit walked me through it and eased all my fears. The experience of buying our new truck from the people at Dublin Honda was wonderful and I'd do it again in a heart beat. I've already referred Roberto to a couple friends.

I called Dublin Honda on a Wednesday for a Saturday appointment and they fit me in. I knew I needed a major service done to my 07 Honda Accord. When I arrived Kipp (my Service Advisor ) was very helpful with recommendations, estimate, and arranging a ride to and from the dealership. He called me a few hours later with an update on the condition of my brakes and battery cable. Very informative and helpfull again! Did I mention I did not have to wait more than five minutes for intitial service or a ride. I will definately go back to Dublin Honda again. Convenient drop off time, great service, and my Honda is running in prime condition again.

I gave Honda a great review once again b/c I had yet another positive experience with Honda service. I've been using Dublin Honda service for over two decades with two vehicles: a 1988 Honda Accord and later a 2004 Honda Odyssey. This time it was for the Odyssey 61K major service. Although it was pricey ($521 out the door), I still think I got a good deal. My ongoing service consultant, Kip Skelton, is awesome. He is so easy to work with. He took the time to explain my service options (bronze, silver, gold) and I chose silver. During the service, it was noted that my power steering pump was making noise and needed to be replaced. I've had a power steering pump go out on my Plymouth Voyager without warning, and let me tell you it was a real pain. With Kip, I feel confident that not only am I maintaining my vehicle for what is currently required, but also looking ahead so that I'm driving my family in a vehicle that is safe. Peace of mind is worth a lot to me when I'm driving and with Kip I have that reassurance. When Kip tells me something about my vehicle's service, I know that I can trust him. This time, he even helped retrieve my daughter's wallet from the van while it was being serviced. I picked up the wallet when I picked up the car b/c I knew that the wallet with safe with Kip. He also provided me with a rental car when the pump was being ordered and installed b/c I have Honda Care. Love Honda Care. Thanks Kip for recommending that I purchase it.

I drive a 2009 Civic Hybrid and it was due for an oil change. I pulled up to the receiving area at Dublin Honda and was relieved that there was no wait. Before I got out of my car the representative, Kipp, was ready to offer his service. He informed me that my car was due for the 30,000 mile maintenance and that Honda would provide a rental car for the day. I was also having problems with my driver side window and was worried it wasn't covered under warranty; right away Kipp let me know he would fix it and I was happy to find out that I did not have to pay for the parts or labor. Kipp gave me all the information I needed about the time frame needed to service my vehicle and also got me into a brand new Camaro for the day! Overall, I felt at ease at Dublin Honda and was satisfied with the service. Kipp was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. As long as I live in the area I will continue to take my vehicle to this dealershp for service. Thanks Dublin Honda!

As soon as I drove up, I had the typical trepidation of going to a car dealership... I wasn't really sure what I wanted to be honest, I just know I didn't want a 2 door car anymore.I met Jason there and instead of bombarding me with deals and offers he took me inside, offered me a cup of coffee, and we sat down for about 5 minutes to talk about what I was looking for in terms of what I already liked and what I wanted different. The salesperson walked me over to his used car area (which was funny at first because I came to look at new cars), and just as I was about to say something he mentioned that he had an idea based on what we were talking about and took me to a couple of used cars to look at. He told me if these didn't match what I was looking for we'd head right over to the new cars as he had a couple of idea over there as well.Anyway, the bottom line is that I wound up buy a used car there that was certified and saved me some money... I got a 4 door honda accord that was certified, had a warranty, and after I did the math cost me about $3,500 less than a new car.Anyway, the candid and friendly approach Jason used was a breath of fresh air, I'd definately send me friends there if they wanted a new car.

Hello my name is Josh I recently called Dublin Honda to inquire about a used car they had listed on craigslist. I spoke with Johnny Lopez the sales manager at Dublin Honda. He told me to come on down and that he will give us a great deal on the vehicle. So we came down couple days later and met Johnny and he introduced us to Alex A his top sales consultant. Alex showed us the Honda odyssey that we were interested in and gave us a great product presentation to me and my family. Alex did an awsome job selling the car to me and my wife. I had a great expierance at Dublin Honda and I highly recommend that if your in the market for a new Honda or a used car that you should get in touch with these guys first because they are trully the best out there.Dublin Honda best place to buy your next used or new car

I was looking for a very specific used car and Dublin Honda had one in stock. I ended up working with Mike A., and he was helpful, got me into the car for a test drive right way, immediately gave me a trade in quote and was easy to work with. I spent more then a few days making my buy decision and Mike kept in touch but not too over bearing (or unresponsive as were other dealers who I couldn't get to call me back). He appeared sincere and wanted the sale by being respectful and polite (a rarity given the other 3 dealers I was dealing with).

Tito Perez from internet sales is just another slimy car salesman. He'll send you a quote over the internet that looks good, but once you try to confirm the deal, he'll throw in other things to raise the price.Specific example: For the cash for clunkers program, a government program that guarantees your trade-in value at a certain price, he says that there the price is $1000 higher because it is a part of the program and the price he quoted you is not good for this, against U.S. government's rules.Scanning his inventory from other dealerships also shows that he was lying about vehicle availability in the first place and is very curt on the phone, insisting that you come in for further negotiations (meaning a long drive out from the Peninsula/South Bay) and does not answer your questions over email or the phone. Simply ignores your questions and asks "when do you want to come in".Do not waste your time with this dealership.

My sister-in-law and I were at Dublin, CA Honda dealership on June 20, 2009 looking for a Honda SUV and we requested to test drive one of the vehicle. Saeed Ahmad, sales rep. told us to call him if we needed help but he was not friendly. I am not surprised to see such a low rating of this dealership [Dublin Honda, CA]I will NOT recommend any one to go to this dealership, unless they drastically change their attitude and practices of doing business. My experience with them was horrible. I was quoted a Price for 2009 Honda Pilot, and in a day told via email and phone that the particular vehicle is no longer available. The same day I walked in the Dublin dealership, and was offered same vehicle at ridiculous price [actually they had two of the same model/color/trim]. They just backed off from their internet quote. They were non-courteous and rude to the extent that when my wife asked for water, while I was out with the sales person for test drive, she was pointed to the vending machine by the receptionist. I am going to report this to Consumer Relations and to Honda USA.

The purchase part of the vehicle was no problem. Got it using a AAA price over invoice deal. They didn't have a second key to the car -- couldn't find it for a NEW CAR!! It is now upon me to get the salesman to get the key and he has conveyed that attitude towards me. Answered his cell phone while not in the office and told me to call him back the next day. In the days of 41% car sales, car dealerships and salesmen should be doing everything in their power to attract and keep new customers.

I visited the show room on Saturday(01/10/09) to check out a Honda civic model. I was initially attended to by Saeed Ahmad one of the sales representative and was asked about the seriousness of my visit and my intention of buying the car or finding out information. I was surprised by the fact on inquiries about my credit score even before I was shown a car. The test drive was delegated to by another sales guy Ed , with an uneventful ending to that. I then again was attended to by Saeed, I asked him the leasing deals. I was told that no information on any deals would be given until I file for a credit application.I asked that I be shown the details of leasing and then I would file for a credit application, Saeed who had scratched a few numbers on a sheet of paper tore the paper and walked away. This rude behavior shocked me and I informed Ed that I have to look at the lease contract before I sign on anything. This lack of common courtesy and rude behavior is shocking and appalling to me. Saeed also muttered profanity under his breath and walked away, this is so amazing to me that they actually train sales professional to be such first rate idiots.Ed apologized for his Seniors behavior and brought a sample leasing document.

Drove a 2008 Odyssey on 12/27/08 with Russell. Nice guy, low pressure, no complaints. Told him we were just browsing. On 12/31/08 Russell called and stated we'd get a great deal on the car (last 2008 on the lot) if we rushed in and bought it. Checked Edmunds.com. Edmunds TMV for the car was $28,078 and we could get the special finance rate of 3.9% for 60 months...MSRP was 34,500ish. After a couple hours (making us late for our New Years Eve party), "Sales Manager" MARK, begrudgingly agrees to the Edmunds TMV...but wouldn't go lower. So we left as we felt we could do better than TMV on a 2008.On 1/2/09, MARK calls us back and repeats his offer on this new 2008: $28,078 + Fees and 3.9% for 60 months. He states he can't go lower. So okay...we decide to go for it. I provide info for my loan app over the phone to expedite and make it easier on the family. They send the car to be washed and detailed. Then about an hour later, MARK suddenly remembers this Odyssey was sold before but never picked up...so it wouldn't qualify for new car honda financing (BTW, turns our Russell was the guy who sold it the first time...6 months prior). He said he could sell it as a "certified used car" but it would now cost me another $550 plus 4.9% OR I could pay the original price we agreed to, get only 5.9% financing and the warranty on my NEW Honda would only be good for another 30 months....grrrrr.Even though this was THEIR mistake/omission/oversight/LIE...they wanted to stick me with the entire cost of the error. They weren't even willing to split it with me (ie They'd eat the $550 certification cost and I'd eat the higher interest rate). Which BTW, if you do the math was almost exactly the same $$$. The additional interest would've cost me a little over $600 on the life of the loan. MARK told me to take or leave it. They wouldn't bend.Needless to say, I passed ONLY because I felt this was a classic bait and switch and didn't feel I should have to pay for their mistake. The whole reason we started down this road is because they called us (both times) and promised a great deal. Clearly they knew all along something was up with the vehicle. They must've known the vehicle had been sold before and that it wouldn't qualify as new. MARK even mentioned at one point that they'd had this problem with this vehicle before, but conveniently forgot to mention it when my sale was going through.AVOID DUBLIN HONDA if at all possible...nice showroom...lots of cars to choose from, but MARK is very hard to deal with...and is probably a shady character. Russell...well the jury is still out. Nice guy, low pressure...but the failure to mention he already sold the car before was kinda cheap IMHO.

Do not go for this dealership.I called the internet department to ask for price. And I asked if I come in to buy the car today, would he took off $100. He agreed and said it is only valid today. I asked him to send me email to confirm this. He said he cannot because then I will go to other dealers with the quote. So I thought OK. That's fine. I can thrust him. Then I drove to this dealer place after work and asked for the guy.The guy came and said he never talked to me over the phone. He said that is his name and his phone number but he never talked to me today. He cannot reduce any of the price. He is definitely not friendly.I asked if he can check any record who answered his phone. He said no. No one can do anything about it. Maybe some other people or salesmen answered the phone. This is just really ridiculous. I don't have much experience dealing with car dealers. It is probably the way they run business. But I expect when the guy said he is someone over the phone, he better be the guy. Otherwise, it is just lying and nocredibility.I would have bought the car without the $100 off. That's not a big deal. But it is just making you feel upset when you are not treated friendly at all when it is not your fault.

Took my 2007 Civic in for a 30,000 mile service. I had made an appointment for Friday. I dropped it off before they opened and let them know that I would not be able to pick it up until Saturday, giving them AT LEAST A FULL DAY to perform the service. I got a call at 10:00 Friday morning letting me know they had received the car. I got another call around 3, letting me know that it was done. I picked up the car on Saturday around 1. I got on the freeway to go to an appointment. At 40-60 mph, the tires sounded like a rocket taking off. At 70, the steering wheel was shaking so bad I thought the wheels were going to come off. I got home around 4 and immediately called them back. I was sent to a voicemail four times before reaching a live person. I told them that the car was in significantly worse shape than it had been when I took it in and because I commuted for work, it was not in acceptable condition. We made an appointment for 8 Monday morning. Of course, I was scared to drive the car over the weekend, so was essentially left without one. I arrived at 8 on Monday. I was told that they would check the alignment, but the only way it could be checked was by driving it and seeing if the car pulled one way or another. They then told me they had already done that on Friday. Of course, I knew that they actually can measure alignment on some computer thing, but did not share that information with him. Instead I waited to see what other lies they could come up with. After waiting three hours, I finally got my car back. The story was this...while they said they had checked the alignment during the 30,000 service, they had not. It was "significantly" out of alignment in the back, which had caused the tires to cup, which resulted in the noise when those tires were rotated to the front. In addition, a part that was covered under warranty had gone bad, making it impossible to get the car back in alignment. They had to replace the bad part and then do the alignment. They apparently also never took it for a road test on Friday, or they would have realized that something was wrong. I was told that Friday was "crazy" and the freeways were busy, thus their failure to take it out. God only knows what else they say they did under the 30,000 miles service, but that they actually did not do because the day was "crazy." On top of all of this, when I did get my car back on Friday, it had grease on the back seat (apparently where it had dripped when they relubricated the doors) and someone had stolen most of a bag of change that I keep in the car for emergencies. I never go to the dealer. I went because I thought it was more convenient to take the car in on Friday and pick it up at my convenience on Saturday. However, after being carless for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and after wasting three hours of my life on Monday, I will never go back. They lied and they didn't do their job. I hope they are happy with the $420.00 they got out of me. They will not get another penny of my money or a minute of my time.

My experience has left me negatively ambitious enough to leave reviews on multiple websites so here is mine. Based on other reviews on numerous websites, it seems that Dublin Honda, has quite the bad rap sheet. One happy customer review on many websites are consistently topped by two negative. From my experience it is possible to sell lots of cars and be completely honest while doing so. Unfortunately, this team doesn't choose to. Coming from an ex-car salesman, many dealerships will not quote you a price over the phone, but the few that do are usually the dealers willing to negotiate lower than the rest. Dublin Honda thrives by strong arming customer into lengthy sales deals (5 hours!!!!) using pressure exhaustion and technique to eventually break you down. Dublin Honda Sales Managers and Finance perform what is known as a SLAM. Adjusting paperwork to benefit the dealer although inconsistent w/ previous agreements. Customers are usually exhausted from the 5 hour process, and neglect reading the adjusted lines. Usually APR % or Term Length. Crazy!!! Usually, an E5 in the Air Force would get great treatment at a Honda dealer, but not here. Honda is a great brand; unfortunately they don't have much control of who sells their cars. Last year I purchased a new car. It took 30 minutes on the phone w/ the fleet/internet dept, then 1 hour at the dealer. And, Yes, I got way under invoice on my car. Great deal!!! The Finance guy tried to SLAM me, but I caught it and pointed out his "accidental" mistake. Do yourself a favor, call fleet/internet departments before you spend 5 hours at a dealer. If you choose to give Dublin Honda a chance at your business, reasonably demand what you are looking for! After all it is YOUR money. FYI below is the sales team I had worked w/Jim Bailey The unreachable, and maybe unrespected GM. Steve Badel surprised he actually works in sales, with his condescending, unfriendly attitude. Probably due to the fact that I only met him post purchase.Mark Burda decent salesman, but probably one of the pushiest. He made me feel unreasonable the entire time, although I thought I was being unreasonable.Chris Great conversation!!!! Tremendously nice guy, smiling as he SLAMed.

Thanks for telling us you would fix this so conveniently on the day that you left for vacation. That reminds me of a classic DEAD BEAT DADyoure a DEAD BEAT FINANCE GUY.SHADY CONTRIBUTOR #3: STEVE, SALES MANAGER. This guy UNDERSTOOD us. He only said it 1000x. He definitely has practiced his fake listening skills. I think he thought if he repeated I understand that it would pacify the situation. Its probably a trick he uses on his wife when shes going on and on about a Nordstrom sale. He knew exactly what would make us happy, but was too lazy to make it happen. Probably his same approach to giving his wife an O.BOTTOM-LINE: RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL , CONDESCENDING, NO INTEGRITY Sorry guys, it doesnt always pay in the long run to have that sleazy male camaraderie. You may not think this little ole review will do much, especially as you are seeing your commission cuts, but if you keep causing ripples, one day they will cause a destructive wave.

I went here with my pregnant wife today to look at the new Honda Pilot. The salesman who welcomed us was Oliver I believe. At first he was a nice guy. This was our first time looking at this Honda Pilot and right away he said there was a big mark up on the price because everybody wants one...that may be true and I may have even considered it however I never got the chance to test drive the car. He asked for my cell phone number, which I did not feel comfortable giving to him and INSTEAD offered my home number, he said no he needed my cell phone number. I said why? He said because I was driving the car....once I said no, he said fine and gave me back the copy of my driver's license and walked away. RUDE? YES. I guess if you DO NOT HAVE a cell phone, you can't test drive a car at the Dublin Honda, at least not from Oliver...I may very well still buy a Honda Pilot, just not from him. Maybe even from the same dealership, can't blame them for this guy's rude behavior. It's one thing to want to sell a car, but another to be RUDE about it. Disappointed. First bad experience in the 10 years I have bought cars. I went through five cars...I guess my sixth one will not be with him!

Just bought a Civic from Russell at Dublin Honda last week and it was the best experience I have had! At first my wife and I were worried about getting ripped off since every dealer we had been to that day tried to put us together and were also rude. Russell was very helpful, polite and helped us get a great deal even though we were upside down on our trade in. He also introduced us to his manager Ryan who was also very nice. Next time we buy another car we will make sure and see Russell!

They wasted my mother's day by calling me to buy a car which was not in stock and also they played a dirty game of adding destination charge at the end eventhough we negotiated OTD price in e-mail. Be careful !!

I bought a new Honda 1 month ago. It has been in the shop 3 times. They lied when I bought the car - I consider ommissions a lie. The battery was bad (which the should have known when they had to jump it to get it out of the showroom - or at least tested it!), didn't tell me it had after market springs put on (which were installed incorrectly and had to be fixed at the same time as the battery) - neglected to reset the moon roof so it closed when the car was turned off (it's stuck open again)- neglected to fix the TPMS (that has been 'fixed' twice so far)- tried to sell me an alarm system for the car ($450) when it came equiped with one (finance guy said it was only the radio that was alarmed... WRONG!)- they did not detail the car prior to delivery - I had to wipe the dust off the instrument panel. Never told me about any of the 'bells and whistles'. When they received the results of thier survey - Nancy from customer service called - and wanted to give me a gift card for $25 for my problems... what the heck am I going to do with a dublin honda gift card for $25 - that doesn't even cover an oil change! She sent it - with a hand writen (scrawled) note on a ripped sheet of paper - no apologies. Don't bother with them. The only person I will talk to there is Dona in Service.

When I went to buy a Honda Odessey with my friend to the Dublin Honda dealer, we were approached by a sales person by the name of Tito Perez. After we test drove the car, we informed Toto that we were interested in buying the van. He took us to the second floor into his office. I had accompanied my friend who is the buyer, not myself, as it was her first time buying a car, and she wanted someone she trusts to accompany her so that she would not feel intimidated by the sales force. At one point, i started to ask Tito a question; at the same time, my friend also inadvertently asked Tito a question. At this point, Tito very curtly, and I mean very curtly told me, I quote: "Are you the person buying the car or is she buying the car...let me answer her question then I will address you, do you understand..." he said very rudely. This took my by surprise, how rude can a person be, esp. a customer facing sales person. My reaction to him was: "hey I am a friend of hers (the buyer) and she asked me to jump in and ask questions as I felt appropriate (and btw, my question was simply...what are your quotes on warranty provided by Honda)Tito immediately confronts me and tells me:"....don't you point fingers at me (I didn't, really) I will ask you to leave and you don't have to buy the car.Later, I complained to another finance person...his immediate reaction was...hey this young guy (in his 20's) is known to be a jerk...he recently got promoted to a Director...and has a swollen head...How "unprofessional"...sheesh! Please listen to me friends...as long as Tito Perez is at the dealership, good luck on your experience with this jerk!

In 2004, I bought a new Civic through CarsDirect.com. Picked up the car at Dublin Honda. When my wife & I went outside to inspect the vehicle, the right side of the car was parked within inches of a building which I thought was odd (especially since there was alot of open space in the parking area). During the inspection, I decided to move the car away from the building so I could adequately inspect the right side.Surprise, surprise, as I discovered a rather large dent on both the right-rear quarter panel & door. This is a brand new vehicle which supposedly has been inspected & checked-out by the dealer.I can understand and forgive them if the damage somehow happened after the inspection. But I suspect Tito Perez was aware of the damage because he parked it in the viewing/inspection area in such a way as to hide the damage. His reaction upon my discovering the damage was nonchalant which further reinforced my belief. I learned years ago that if you drive a new car off the lot with damage, its difficult to prove to the dealer the damage didn't occur after leaving the dealer.Don't buy your Honda from Dublin Honda. Note: They fixed the dent & I did complain to management, but found out a few months later that the dealer promoted Tito. He's currently the general manager of sales!

Sleazy car sales cliche! Tag-team sales people & low-ball deal that wasn't honored, claimed only good for that first night, despite "good faith" assurance from both dealer and us at ~9pm. Despite 4+ hours with the car earlier the next day (didn't want to take a previous night delivery), return "closing the deal" trip was a nightmare with delay tactics (held my car keys and registration well after I requested their return), barely acknowledged that we had been there previous night & earlier in day, renegotiation starting from scratch and stopping ~$3000 short of previous night's dealer offer (same month, just next day). Ended up buying at another Honda dealer - hassle free and got price equivalent to original Dublin Honda offer. If Zero was a choice, thats where it would be!

I bought a new Civic Hybrid from Dublin in November 2002. It just so happened to be during the dockworkers strike which delayed my car's arrival by serval weeks. Yet the folks at Dublin treated me like their most important customers, calling me with updates and always providing friendly service. In addition, I oringinally had lined up a loan with AAA but Dublin managed to find a slightly better rate with a bank they regularly work with.<br><br>Since then I have put over 30,000 miles on the Civic (30+ mile commute to work, one way) without a problem. Dublin sends me reminders for regular check-ups which I always take advantage of (I'm not very good at organization).<br><br>The service department is thorough and professional, and maintains its own parts business in a store next to the dealership. I drop my car off first thing in the mornings (they start at 7:00am) and it's usually ready by 8:30-9:00am -- and they're service department is always busy.<br><br>In short, I went to Dublin (and not my local Fremont dealer) because they were straightforward, honest, and trustworthy.

What’s more, Dublin Honda of Dublin has been on the market for a very long time and remains the preferred dealership for buyers looking for used cars and trucks for sale. From low mileage used cars to cheapest used cars, there is something for you from Dublin Honda. Check out the listings today to find the right car for yourself. Dublin Honda is definitely the best place to buy used cars online.
