****DON'T GO****STAY AWAY**** Only giving 1 star because I can't give ZERO. Worst auto experience of my life. Dishonest with genuine intent to deceive. (the only exception is Ken- the finance guy- he was Great) There was ZERO desire to provide any type of customer service, even when I made it as easy as humanly possible. I gave crystal clear communication and specific questions.. which were met with repetitive disregard and false information. They, Javon (sales rep) specifically, lied lied repeatedly about several things, which I later discovered and they could not have cared less. Even contacted the General Manger, Tim, directly.. and, despite an abundance of clear examples of wrong doing, he made no attempt to correct or reconcile, beyond a simple apology. He said he would follow up, never did.

Javan answered my call at 9pm regarding a white Rubicon I found on Dacars lot and was able answer all of my questions. We conducted all of our business over phone and email which was convenient. Great young man who knows his product because he owns his product. Very impressed with Dacars inventory. Chose this dealer over dozens more across four States. Will purchase another vehicle from them in the future.

During the buying process you receive top notch service. Once you have finalized your purchase it is a wrap. You won’t get any of your calls, texts, emails or any other correspondences ever answered. Don’t even think about the other promises made. If you plan to purchase a vehicle stay away from Darcars in New Carrollton they are the worst.

First and Foremost there are always 2 sides to a story! With that being said..Darcars (Carrollton MD) is one of the Best out there if not the Best. I had been having issues either getting financed or the payment being over the top. I found the car I wanted called and spoke with Mrs.Pat King, and the rest is history. I left the dealership with my souped up Chrysler and an affordable payment. I am sure all of the sales associate's are fabulous, although personally Mrs. Pat King is the one whom you want to deal with. She says what she means and means what she says. If she says she is getting you in the car you want with your payments reasonable she will and she can !! I will recommend DARCARS to everyone. !! Thanks so much to EVERYONE at Darcars for making my car shopping pleasureable !!! #darcarsrock

RUN!!!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. I WALKED INTO THE DEALERSHIP WITH A 2013 DODGE AVENGER SXT, FULLY LOADED HEATED LEATHER SEATS, U-CONNECT BLUETOOTH, GPS NAVIGATION, SIRIUS XM, GOOD CREDIT AND MY OWN FINANCING. I WALKED OUT WITH A BAD VEHICLE , "THE TEST DRIVE VEHICLE", IN WHICH I NEVER EVEN LIKED OR WANTED TO TEST DRIVE IT, (2016 DODGE JOURNEY SE) STANDARD, NO FEATURES WHATSOEVER, NONE, BAD CREDIT (6 HARD INQUIRIES AFTER I TOLD THEM NOT TO PULL MY CREDIT AND IT WAS NO NEED TO PULL IT, I HAD MY OWN FINANCING) AND AN OBLIGATION TO USE THEIR FINANCING OR SEEK AN ADDITIONAL $6000 PLUS FROM MY BANK IN WHICH I DID. NOW I'M STUCK WITH A PLAIN STANDARD VEHICLE AFTER BEING OBLIGATED TO PURCHASE BECAUSE I WAS TRICKED, BOLDFACED LIED TO AND DECEIVED INTO SIGNING A CONTRACT TO PURCHASE THIS UGLY VEHICLE WHEN THEY KNEW I DIDNT EVEN LIKE IT. I WAS NOT SHOWN ANY OTHER VEHICLE, JUST ONE DODGE JOURNEY. THE MANAGERS SAYS THEY ARE SORRY THEY WILL MAKE IT RIGHT BUT YET I MUST COME UP WITH AN ADDITIONAL $7000 MORE DOLLARS. THEY ALREADY CHARGE ME 125% VALUE OF THE CAR THAT THE BANK TOLD THEM THAT'S ENOUGH TOO MUCH MONEY FOR THE STANDARD VEHICLE, AND THE BANK CANT GIVE THEM MORE THAN THAT. THEY LITERALLY WAS TRYING TO GET MORE THAN 125% GREEDY xxxxxxxx. I TOLD THEM VOLUMINOUS AMOUNT OF TIME THAT I DID NOT LIKE THE VEHICLE AND I NEEDED GPS NAVIGATION, SIRIUS XM AND U-CONNECT. THEN AFTER BEING FORCED TO PURCHASE THE VEHICLE THEY CHARGE ME AN ADDITIONAL $1800 AND THEN INSTALLED SOME BOOTLEGGED, AFTERMARKET, REFURBISHED, REMOVABLE BROKEN DOWN PARTS ON THE 2016 DODGE JOURNEY IN WHICH IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN INSTALLED INTO THE DASHBOARD. THE AMOUNT THEY CHARGE ME THEY COULD HAVE JUST GIVEN ME A VEHICLE WITH THESE FEATURES ALREADY BUILT IN AND COST LESS, BUT NAW THEY WANTED TO GAIN MORE PROFIT FOR THEMSELVES BY FORCING ME TO PURCHASE A VEHICLE THAT THEY PROBABLY COULD NOT SELL, IT EVEN HAD PAINT CHIPPED. STEVE KEMP, GENERAL SALES MANAGER, NICOLAS TY, SALESMAN, ROD RICCIARDI, GENERAL MANAGER AND JAMMIE DOBSON, BUSINESS MANAGER ALL DISPLAYS VERY UNETHICAL AND UNPROFESSIONAL BUSINESS PRACTICES. FROM THE SALESMAN TO THE MANAGERS. MS. DOBSON WILL RESPOND TO YOUR EMAIL IF SHE WANTS BUT YET SHE WILL NOT DO ANYTHING TO RECTIFY THE PROBLEM, HECK NONE OF THEM WILL SO I WILL SAY GET A LAWYER IF YOU HAVE ANY PROBLEMS. THEY PROCRASTINATE ANYWAY AND THEY ALL ABOUT STEALING AS MUCH MONEY FROM YOU AS POSSIBLE. THEY WILL SQUEEZE BLOOD OUT OF A TOMATO. THE CHRYLSER'S CROOKS AKA DARCARS.

We did experience a first time good impression of a friendly staff and environment with a knowledgeable, Salesman, a professional approach of our consideration of a deal that we could not refuse at the time with the Sales Manager and an organized arrangement with the Business Manager for the completion of customer offers and his relentless effort to get us an interest rate that we are with.

By far the WORST EXPERIENCE from the purchasing of the vehicle to simple oil changes. I read the reviews and still gave them a chance. Next time when I see a bad review, I will definitely believe! Then they had the nerve to call me and ask me to upgrade to another vehicle. HELL NO! Not with you I won't! And if you are considering dealing with them, turn around and run as fast as you can! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!! And by the way, I have had problems with my brand new vehicle since I purchased it in Sept. 14! Not even two years and it is sitting on a lot because DARCARS says it will take three weeks before they can even look at it! Not two years and transmission problems. The first oil change I had to bring it back on a flatbed and I have been having problems with this vehicle ever since! I purchased it brand spanking new at that! I am beyond frustrated with this place!

I wished I had read the reviews before agreeing to go have my car serviced at DarCars New Carrollton on July 14, 2016 because Dar Cars Silver Spring did not have any openings till 3 weeks. I had a recall plus my seat belt light says on and dings for 2 minutes even though my seat belts are fastened on my 2005 Chrysler 300. I was told a fee of $150.00 to run a diagnostic. Hmm, I explained what the issue was (so why was a diagnostic needed) but any repairs would go towards that cost so I agreed. I get a call from Bryan that it is going to cost me another $450.00 to run a further diagnostic because they could not find the cause. This a Chrysler Repair Shop and I have a Chrysler YOU SHOULD KNOW what causes this issue!!! By the way supposedly the recall was repaired, I would hope. Bryan then said after I declined the $450.00 that it could cause further issues down the road. I decided to take my chances. Of course I asked to speak to his manager but I forget to get his name because at this point I am angry that I was being charged $150.00 for a seat belt light that could not be fixed. 2 hours later he returns my call and tells me I have a RARE situation that needs $450.00 more to further diagnose the problem. Okay now it is rare for the seat belt light to stay on even if the seat belt is fastened. All bull crap to me and I feel that I was shafted and maybe this was a way for them to get paid for doing the recall for free. This is a crappy organization and I wrote on my ticket if anything goes wrong with my car in 30 days they sabotaged it because of the statement Bryan had made. They also had the nerve to say I needed brakes. (I NEVER ASKED THEM TO LOOK AT ANYTHING ELSE) They should have spent that time fixing my seat belt light. UNHAPPY FEMALE CUSTOMER!!!!

you might have a great experience purchasing, but think about it. Everyone is nice to you while you're giving them money. The REAL test is when an incident occurs and they're expected to help. I can tell you firsthand, they have failed- MISERABLY.Brought my car in a few weeks ago to be serviced after having issues with it for almost a year, and Steve Flint told me that he would handle things through corporate (I will skip the details of how Jack Tran tried to charge me twice for the same thing), but that my car would be fine to drive, and if I had any issues with my upcoming inspection, then I was to have them contact him, and he would work something out (no idea how that was expected to happen)... 2 weeks later, and I'd still heard nothing. Then it happened, my car DIED. I could no longer drive it ~mind you this is not an older car (2012 Jeep liberty Jet), nor a cheap one, but I could no longer move it an inch, as the car overheated and the red indicator light was on AND beeping. My car was sadly towed there last saturday, and it is friday and my car still HAS NOT BEEN LOOKED AT, and the rental car that was promised to me last night by steve flint, magically disappeared, and I'm no longer authorized to get one. Additionally, steve also promised to have my car looked at first thing this morning and to call me by 10am, but it is almost 1:30 pm, and after my eighth call to them (they don't have an answering service where you can leave a voicemail), being on hold for an HOUR, I still have not spoken to Steve, who told Jack (according to Jack) that he would call me an hour ago (for the second time). Basically I'm getting the runaround, and what's worse is they have my car, my property, and I don't know WHAT they might do to it. If they tried to overcharge me when I initially brought it by, what's to stop them from doing it now?? Hopefully corporate (whom I've filed a complaint with), the better business bureau or the FCC will be able to. We shall see, but when they can't or aren't willing to tell you who the area manager is, or they don't know who's done or said what in the office, I don't have high hopes...If I can give you a piece of valuable advice, DONT BUY A JEEP, and if you have one DONT TAKE IT HERE!!! You'll regret it, terribly.

My car is a year old and I have been having problems since I purchased it. My car has been to the service department 4 times and nothing has changed. I can't get a call back and I have left several messages. Everyone is rude and disrespectful. I also looked at the reviews on my vehicle and saw that several others have the same issue. I hate darcars and regret purchasing my brand new car from them. At this point I'm going to have to get a lawyer and contact the state of md for results. If you want to purchase a care DON'T go to darcars crysler.

I purchased my brand new 2015 Chrysler 200s in January 2015 and having problems with the transmission already they said I needed a system update I let them do it and the car is still doing the same thing. I can't get any help not to mention I needed some other work done and was told the part was there on 2 different occasions I took off from work and found out the part was not there. IF YOU WANT TO BUY A CAR DON'T GO TO THAT PLACE. YOU WILL REGRET IT.

Love this dealership. Purchased my car from here, it was quick and easy. Last week I brought it back to this dealership for an engine light. They quickly scheduled me an appointment and fix it! It was minimal impact on work schedule! I will be bringing my vehicle back to this dealership for all my service!

Do Not... I repeat.. DO NOT, purchase, lease, or even look at a vehicle on this lot. They will do absolutely anything to make a sale, and tell any necessary lie, even if it cost your time, money and LIFE. They will sell you a car that is not safe and expect you to pay for what they say has already been done.

I was looking to get a truck for my family and I was greeted by Mr. Lambert Selenou (Certified Sales Consultant) and Hollis Batts (General Manager). I called ahead to let them know what I was looking for hoping to make a deal before Christmas. Boy did they step up to the challenge! Not only did they help me secure a great deal on our current vehicle, they were also able to get me a great deal on the new 2015 vehicle of my choice. I couldn't have asked for better customer service and an awesome overall experience than what I received. I highly recommend this dealership and look forward to doing business with them in the future!

Do not go to this dealership. The most unethical dealership in the DMV area. Whoever the owner is really needs to clean house with the staff that he hires. I went to get tags & title and one of the staffers walked up to me nasty & rude while I had my son with me and acted like she was about to hit me in the face. All that because I am inquiring about tags & title of a car I bought!!!! The worst experience ever! The sales manager put his head down and acted like he didn't hear or see anything. And the staff was laughing about the situation. I guess since I bought 2 cars from them already they could care less how there employees treat their customers! Horrible place!

First... They did not honor their advertised internet price, charging an addition $790 over that price. Secondly, they did not inform me of the missing remotes and only having one key. Yet the vehicle was advertised with "Remote Start" and "Keyless Entry". Without the remotes, these features are useless and just as well not be installed. Then, after intense negotiation , they agreed to pay for one remote and the second key, plus the programming. All I had to do is go to a dealer of the make and procure them, and their programming, bring them the receipt, for with I would be reimbursed. However, in the end, this was not true...even after I did it all less than their estimated price, $21 less...it may seem trivial, but they shorted me approximately $28 of my out of pocket cost. At first it was $58, then I pushed the issue until they gave me $20 more. I'm suggest that you micro review everything, more so, if the vehicle is even equipped as advertised. Too, don't get reeled in trough false internet pricing. Do research for competitive pricing... If I had to do it again, I would go on down the road to one of their competitors, for I look of some integrity in dealing, not total deception. In closing, I was contacted by by customer relations, assuring that they would do a review and get back to me.... Ha! Just another one of their dishonesty moves. I'm sure they are glad our business is concluded.

All I can say is this dealership is not ehical. The rep named Hassan I dealt with pulled my credit after I asked him not to. I even wrote "do not pull my credit" on the form I completed. I was there on a Friday & I asked him to wait til Wed the following wk to pull my credit bc I was dealing with a refi. He totally disregarded my request. I spoke with a Gen Mgr named Louis & he called apologizing said he would give me a letter to send to my refi guy but they have totally disregarded my calls. DarCars did get me approved at an excellent rate but I declined bc of their unethical act. DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM. Guess they thought I was desperate but I will take my car buying elsewhere.

On August 25, I purchased a 2015 Jeep Patriot (Manuel transmission) with 1,800 miles from Darcars New Carrollton. My entire experience has been dreadful, exhausting, and full of broken promises from the dealer. Less than 24 hours after purchasing the certified used vehicle, the car broke down to the extent of being non-drivable. I called and informed the dealer and GM (SAM, who was extremely unprofessional towards me and his staff) and they assured me they were going to have the vehicle towed to their location to be repaired, which they did however I was charged over $90 for the tow. Once the vehicle was at their location they did not offer me loner vehicle nor did they offer me any assistance to getting home. I informed the dealer and GM that I just purchased this vehicle, it should not have broken down 24 hours later, that I would like another vehicle, and loaner vehicle in the meantime. The only options given to me was taking an upside down loan for a more expensive vehicle and receiving a loaner vehicle was out of the question. After waiting a week I received a call stating the vehicle was repaired, that they had to do major repair on the clutch or manual transmission. I go pick up the vehicle, I am reassured that the vehicle has been repaired, that I would be reimbursed for the tow, and that I should have not have been charged for the tow in the first place; but my experience doesnt stop here. I had to take the car back the very next day because the protective shield underneath the car was not reassembled correctly, which caused the entire front piece to scrape the ground. I take the car back to the dealer, for the protective shield to be replaced shield. Once it was replaced, I requested the service repair record(s) for that day and any other services records from the moment of my ownership. I was then instructed that I would receive those records and reimbursement for the tow, which would be no longer than 2 weeks from that date and sent out via express delivery method. To date, it has been over a month and I have yet to receive anything. To make matter worse, no one communicated anything to me in terms of the delay or reasons for the delay. So, I reached out to them again and this time I was reassured that everything was in the mail, but no one can provide me with a tracking number or ETA of the package delivery, which I have yet to receive and it has been a week and a half since that conversation. In conclusion, the customer service is terrible, their maintenance repair service is subpar at best, upper management is unorganized rude and fail to meet the mission, vision, and commitment to the consumer, of the organization. I am putting my experience out there because I do not want anyone to experience what I have, which has been costly, time consuming, and very insulting.

I have only had the vehicle for 19 months. So far, major engine work and TPM replacement ($1300). When the part finally came in they installed it and parked the vehicle. I waited another 2 hours to find out they were done. Bottomline: I had the rental for 9 days and my warranty only covered 5 days. Then I had to hound them for a month to get any reimbursement for the 4 days not covered. New episode: Now transmission leaking, and bad starter. Their service department is backed up. They can't even look at my vehicle for two days. by then I've used up two days out of my rental car coverage under the warranty. I asked if I could take the car and make an appointment. They said they would not recommend driving the car with a transmission leak. It's only money.

My car has been there since May 18th 2015 and have yet to been looked at. The service manager Steve Flint is the worst manager I have ever dealt with and i will be reporting my concerns to John Darvish

We were referred to this dealership....I will not REFER ANYONE...THIS IS A WARNING....My experience with this dealership was the absolute worse. PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT, DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALERSHIP....YOU WILL BE SORRY!!! AND OUT OF HARD EARNED MONEY! I just purchased a used Town and Country, 2011, in January 2015, for an astronomical price of almost $19,000 with more than 70k miles. Before taking the car off the lot, we noticed that one of the sliding doors did not work...Safety Issue! Do Not believe Vehicle was MD Inspected properly, because this would have been repaired. It was mentioned to the management and we were told we would have to pay for the repair. Because of the Need for this type of vehicle, we came back to have it repaired. Once this problem was taken care of, just last week, Major repair issues are NOW required on the vehicle, like: External/Auxiliary Trans Oil Cooler Hoses, Belt Tensioner, R&R, Drive Belt and Idler Pulley, (another couple thousands of dollars $$$$ More Money) just to name a few. These are items that should have been found and replaced during a MD Inspection and not needing repair less than 3 months. If the MD Inspection was complete, these safety issues would not be an issue. Went to management this week to discuss my concerns, with no success...had to pay out MORE MONEY. This just Infuriates me and really should not have to be addressed. If you review the comments from Miransimon above, about a new car, I can Agree with their experience....THIS IS A WARNING!!!! Also, when presenting your copy of paperwork, Never Let It Out Of Your Hands, adjustments can and will be made, as with OURS...BE CAREFUL. Made every attempt to correct problem...OUT Of Money and STUCK with a UNSAFE VEHICLE at this Point. The Sales person was GREAT! Mrs. King, but the financial group took total advantage of our Families Need for a vehicle and RIPPED US OFF. DARCARS....JUST MAKE IT RIGHT FOR THE FAMILY'S SAKE....!!!

My experience at New Carrollton (Darcars dealership) was excellent, from the moment that I walked in, I was greeted by Giovanni, he then introduced me to a ( Sales Consultant) David Sadat. I didn't feel pressured or uncomfortable. I was able to trade in my car and purchase a truck less than 3 hours I was on my way home. Keep up the great work Giovanni and Frank!!! And thanks for providing me with a great car buying experience!!! I Highly Recommend this dealership!

WARNING DO NOT BUY. I had to give them a rating of 1 to right this review but they don't even deserve that. They have the absolute worst customer service and loyalty. My father went to buy my dream car and we found out that one of the tires aren't matching and one of the tires had a gash on the side with the tires metallic interior material showing. This didn't happen in our possession and it was sold to us this way. They took the car to get it washed and cleaned and who knows what they did. The car is unsafe to drive because the driver side tire had an air pressure of 28 which was a michelin tire, the front passenger side had a good year tire with 37 tire pressure, the back left was a michelin tire with 28 pressure, and the back right had a michelin tire with a huge gash on the side and 27 air pressure. The car wasn't safe to drive and that tire wasn't holding the air pressure correctly. After calling them for a day straight trying to resolve the issue, it went no where. They kept putting us on hold and transferring us till the call dropped. We went there with intentions for keeping the car but they didn't care about trying to fix the issue. After all of this we totally lost trust and why would anyone trust someone when something goes wrong with a 30,000 dollar vehicle. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. THEY ARE SCUMSS AND THEY TALK NICE AT FIRST BUT THEIR INTENTION IS TO SELL YOU CARS THAT THEY HAVEN'T EVEN CHECKED FOR ISSUES. THEY TRY TO FLIP THE BS THEY GET IN AND TAKE ADVANTAGE BY DRAINING ALL YOUR MONEY.

I want to thank Lambert Selenou (Sales Consultant), Frankie Gach, (Sales Manager), and Roxana Lopez, (Finance Manager) of DARCARS Chrysler Jeep Dodge of New Carrollton! I was immediately greeted by Lambert who listened as I told him the type of car I wanted in order to fulfill my day to day needs, the price I was willing to pay because I wanted to live within my means and something reliable. After he didnt show me the door, He immediately brought me two cars that were within my price range and one that he knew that I would really like (2011 Volkswagen Jetta). (Gorgeous, Clean Car Inside and Out) He was very patient as I called my mechanic and confidant and didnt try to upsell me. He showed me the Carfax and then asked if we can give you the price that you want and if you are satisfied with the car inside and out, would you leave with it today, I told him YES! Lambert then sent me over to Frankie who worked some magic and next thing I knew, I was introduced to Roxana, who told me that the car was mine if I was satisfied with the price which included extended warranty (Added Care Plus) for 2 years (Well I was shocked, speechless and so very elated!) They were really honest with me because my credit score was a little less than perfect, but this team went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that my satisfaction was guaranteed at every turn. Sooo, papers were signed and I walked away with my car within a matter of hours. This was by far the most easiest time that I have ever had in buying a car and trust me I have met some characters. So if you are in need of a CAR and DEALERSHIP that truly listens and wont haggle with you, then you need to RUN, CATCH THE BUS, and/or WALK to DARCARS Chrysler Jeep Dodge of New Carrollton!

the quality of work here is absolutely horrible. Took my magnum in to get the turn signal fixed. The service was not completed and I had to take off work and go back to get fixed again. took my car in to get sway bar fixed $1,200) left and the car wouldn't start 25 minutes later. Finally started and found that the heat wasn't working, the temperature gauge was not moving and then the car started to over heat, and the steering column started making noise. Check engine light came on and throttle censor light came on. took car back a week later and they tell me the heat should work but the heating core may be going bad. I left to find the heat was still not working and the check engine light and every thing else was still happening. Took car back another week later service team bled the antifreeze line and the steering line. Steering got better but nothing else go better. Took car back a week later and was told that I have fluid in the engine and the heads and valves will need to be replaced for a grand total of $2,800 or more. Since the Car is not drivable these things have to be fixed so the car has to stay. The car sat for a week with out anything being done thus I had to rent a care during the holiday and pay holiday rates and the car has been with Darcars for 2 weeks. I only needed a sway bar and bushings and now I cant drive the car. Absolutely being robbed here. So not happy. All the banging they did on the car and they are telling me that these are two separate occurrences that is not caused by them.

30 days after paying $220 and the complete a/c system failed. I took the vehicle to another Darcars location (Silver Spring) and was informed Darcars of New Carrollton during the original repair charged the unit with 3 lbs of coolant when the unit is only designed to hold 1 lb of coolant, the overcharge caused damage which they are trying to deny and not fix.I now have an $800 repair bill to replace a valve and system line, plus recharge the unit.I have attempted to discuss this with Darcars corporate customer service and after I stated "I have ZERO confidence in your repair capabilities" they offered a disrespectful $40 refund.I am pushing forward with a formal BBB complaint and a complaint with Chrysler Group LLC.

Showed interest on a 2014 Dodge Durango. Got a call from someone asking me basic information about what I was looking for. Then a second call came asking me to come in for a test drive. I explained that the dealership was a distance from where I lived and I wanted to talk to a sales person about the vehicle. The person I was talking to said they were just following up on a lead to set up an appointment. Is that how your dealership refers to a potential customer, as a lead?

Came in to look at the charger and challenger and ended up test driving a few.... and then I drove the car that I had to have. The staff is knowledgable and friendly and they seemed more interested in me being happy and liking the car rather than forcing me to buy one. Definitely consider this place if you are in the market for a vehicle.

While waiting for my jeep liberty to be evaluated for a replacement catalytic converter, I had an 8:30 a.m. appointment and arrived at 8:20 a.m.,(luckily the catalytic converter was still under warranty), I decided to test drive a 2012 Jeep Liberty. The test drive went well, during the test drive I had informed the salesman that if I did persue purchasing a car I was without any doubt going through my credit union as the interest rate is far cheeper. The Jeep representative for the servicing area first off gave me a date for the converter to be in on December 8th, this was determined after a 6 hour wait in the waiting area. The sales area had test drove my Jeep, and then proceeded without my consent to put my information in for financial through Chrysler, after I had made it perfectly clear in the beginning that my credit union is my choice for financing. Imagine my dissatisfaction of all of this happening and it adding another 2 hours to my wait. Then, a couple of weeks later I called to check on the date of the catalytic converters arrival and was given date different from the intial date of December 8th from another service representative, I was then transferred to yet another service representative. I waited another couple of days before calling again and asking to speak to my assigned service representative, who after placing me on hold numerous, informed me that the catalytic converted is expected in January 8th? This testimony/review is my way of suggesting to Chrysler/Jeep to step up their customer service game, as well as the communication between sales, service customers and any entities they receive servics from

? August 24th, 2012, (8:24pm) I dropped my car (2006 Chrysler 300 Touring) off at the DARCARS of New Carrollton, to fix the ETC (Electronic Throttle Control - controls the throttle and sending power to the engine to move the car.) system. The ETC light has been flashing and when that happens, nothing happens when I step on the gas. This issue has occurred a couple of times and I followed what was stated in the manual, until it became a consistent problem, so I took it in. ?Monday August 27th, (10:47am) I was contacted by Herbet Carrillo, who informed me that they had run a diagnostics (I noticed there are two separate diagnostic charges, but they appear to be the same. One they cancel if work is done there, and the other is charged to recoup the money they supposedly waive if work is done with them $125, & $109 respectfully) on my car and it stated that the two problems that came up were the Throttle body assembly needed to be replaced & the 3rd cylinder was misfiring and needed the car needed to be Tune-Up. At the same time, the mechanic noticed that the current Throttle Body in my vehicle was new. I informed him that yes, he is right. The current throttle body in my car was new and was replaced by my mechanic the week before; because he had purchased the part from them (DARCARS) and that it was under warranty. He (Mr. Carrillo) said he would verify that the part was under warranty and call me back. ?Wednesday August 29th, (12:03pm), Herbert Carrillo called me back and stated Mr. Rotimi, I checked with the warranty department and they said that you are correct, the part is covered and you are covered for the part replacement. I told him ok, and since I do not have to pay for that you can go ahead with the repair. He then said that its possible that replacing the Throttle body will not fix the problem, and may still need to go through with the Tune Up (cylinder 3 was misfiring). I said okay, lets do this first, and then well see where we are at if I need to do the Tune-Up, he said OK. I did not hear anything for another two weeks. ?Wednesday September 5th (Early morning around 9am), he (Herbert Carrillo) called me back and said your car is working now, and is ready to be picked up the total charge is $419.85. I contacted him back, and said thank you. ?Friday September 7th, 2012 (6:40pm) I went to the DARCARS to pick up my car and paid $539.54. ?Saturday (September 8th) : I proceeded to an engagement I had in Baltimore, and on my way back home (during the harsh storm we had on the East Coast that day), the ETC sensor started to flash again, and the car, once again, became immobile. I was stuck on the road, in the rain, for over 1.5hr until the sensor stopped long enough for me to drive home. ?Monday, September 10th (9:35am Herbert Carrillo); I called Herbert back and told him that the issue was not fixed and explained what happened to me over the weekend. He said I should bring it back in. ?Tuesday the September 11th; on my own dime, I paid $25 to tow my car back to DARCARS of New Carrollton. I did not receive a call about the status, or condition of my car for over a week.?Wednesday, September 18th (9:24am voice mail from Herbert Carrillo); I was told by Herbert The warranty company came back and found that the throttle body was not cover, or they were unable to find information on it, so I would have to pay for the part (roughly $180). ? Wednesday, September 18th (4:31pm call to Herbert Carrillo); I contacted Mr. Carrillo and said This isnt right; I only did the repair because you came back after VERIFYING that it was under warranty. Now, after over 3 weeks of having my vehicle you come back tell it you misinformed me? I was very upset. I did not hear from Mr. Carrillo for another 1-2wks, and I decided to contact Customer Care. ?Friday, September 28th, (11:00am Jamie Dobson {301-459-1100)); I spoke with a lady by the name of Jamie, and explained my issue to her. She stated that she will have the Manager, Mike contact me directly ?Friday, September 28th, 4:20pm Jamie Dobson at Customer Care); I called Ms. Jamie back again, and told her I had not received any call back all day. She then proceeded to write a letter and send it to the President, and Manager at DARCARS Chrysler of New Carrollton, informing them that they had not responded to me. ?Friday, September 28th, 4:40pm; after going to Customer Care for a second time that day, I received a call 30mins later from the Manger Mike, informing me of the same issue that was on the table about the Throttle Body. I was very irate, and at this point I went back down to New Carrollton and spoke with Mike (manager) and we discussed the warranty issue with the Throttle Body replacement, as well as I why he was only receiving half the story from his Technician Manager Herbert Carrillo. I explained what I was told by Herbert that the Throttle body assembly was under warranty, only for him to come back over 2wks later to state it wasnt and I had to pay for it. He apologized, but stated if I could locate the receipt for the Throttle Body assembly purchase so they can locate the warranty and hopefully recoup the lost funds. If I was unable to he said he would take the responsibility for the cost. He also stated they would do another diagnostics on my car on the following Monday (October 1st, 2012) and hopefully get it fixed and back on the road, and in my possession. Again, I did NOT hear from either the manager or Herbert for at least another 1-2wks about the status, condition, or progress of my car. ? Wednesday October 3rd (1:26pm) I called DARCARS to speak with Mr. Carrillo and left him a message. ?Thursday October 4th (5:04pm) I called again, no response. Til this day I still do not have my car, DARCARS Customer relations was extremely rude. and they forge information in an attempt to cover their mistakes. I spoke with Jamie Dobson and she said a Tune-Up cost $424... i paid $539,and she said 'because you authorized the prize, and paid, there is NOTHING TO DISCUSS" and they will not give me a refund.

I received a recall notice and phone call. Work needed done at dealer. Parts in stock and able to complete work in 15-30 minutes. In all fairness service engine light came on and needed diagnostic testing-- 10 minutes tops. Dropped vehicle off prior to opening. Called for update around 1:30-service dept open at 9 am over 4.5 hours and techancian has not looked at vehicle. Said I should probably not expect to get vehicle back and they would contact me-- when tomorrow. Terrible customer service!!! I have not even found out how much they are going to take be for "labor". If it was not for the recall-- I would have NEVER came to the dealship. Hopefully the rest of my experience will be better.

If you are looking for a place that promotes a culture of moral corruption than this is the place for you.Total slime ball creeps looking to take every last dollar out of you any way they can. These crooks lied to us during the whole sale about what an awesome deal we were getting and how they were marking it down a good amount since it was a demo car with over 6000 miles on it. We were in a hurry to pick up our kids from daycare and rushed through the paperwork. Later that night we looked through our paperwork and realized that they had sold us the demo car for full MSRP price with none of the deductions they told us they were doing. We called the next morining and went in there and they seemed quite pleased that they had pulled another sleazy move on a customer. These people make me sick. Karma

The only one person or department is parts because Mr. Tanner has always been a gentlemen, very professional and would go out of way to help his customer whether on phone or in person he is a plus to your dealership. As for used car or new cars the Sale manager or the person sitting behind the big desk wasn't even willing to sell me a car he just no I can't sell you that for that price after the salesman approached him didn't even asked me if perhaps he could get me into another car. The service dept. one of service tried to charge $30.00 to $40.00 more dollars than the job called. Because I already got the price from the parts dept. I think they call that up sale. Sometimes something you don't really need they tell you that you need it. That's all I could say more but I'll stop here. Why do I have to go thru all this just for a lousy survey which probably nobody would look at because it's negative.

i brought my jeep in for service june 23, 2008. 1. head light problem, 2. brakes squeeking, and 3. air bag light repair. after the repairs i took a trip to cincinnati, ohio. when i turned on my lights the same problem was there. they blinked off and on for a few miles before holding a beam and the brakes still squeeked. four days laters when back in maryland i found myself with out any lights at all coming back from annapolis. i brought my jeep back for service and after a couple hours. i was inform the part needed was on back order. a week or so later i called and was told the part was not in. july 15,2008 i called and asked to speak to the manage. i explain my situation asked for a loaner. i am house bound after dark and it has been a while waiting. i was told they are out of loaners. i then told the person i was speaking to about my brakes sounding worse. he said they would take care of it when the part came in.i asked who i was speaking to and he said mike. mike parrish is not the manage and the reason i asked for the manage. he did not seem to be able to help me. it seems to me if the repairs requested had been done correctly june 23,2008 i would not be house bound now, and a request for a loaner not unreasonable. oh, by the way the air bag light began coming on again yesterday. artie walker

I would like to write this review to mention what excellent customer service I received when purchasing a car from this DARCARS store. I researched a Jeep online and had received several quotes. Their Internet Salesperson, Justin Gates, quickly answered my request. He respected my request to be contacted only through email, and through his email answered questions I had accurately (because I had sufficiently researched the vehicle, and am a loyal Jeep owner), and provided what for the first time I considered to be "hassle free" pricing. I contacted him via phone when I felt it was appropriate to do so, and he was very professional and courteous. I made an appointment to stop by and view the vehicle we had spoken about.I was suprised when I arrived to find the vehicle parked up front, easily accessible, and cleaned up to show me. He talked about what the vehicle to do to benefit me, and made recommendations that I felt to be sincere. I honestly feel as if there wasn't anyone else that knew about the vehicles technically than he did. I went on a short test drive and mentioned to my husband that I liked the vehicle but did not want to buy the vehicle, as I wanted to go home and think it over. When I got back he asked if I had any additional questions and politely asked for my business. When I told him my intentions, he was not pushy, but explained to me that it wasn't always when someone would buy, but where, and who it would be from. He promised to provide customer satisfaction in the future, even after he sold me a vehicle. All numbers discussed were as explained verbally on the phone, and through email. I must admit I was skeptical and have seen numbers change in the past. He delivered on his commitment, and the finance manager was very helpful as well. He was not aware that I am a retired employee from Chrysler, and had very important contacts throughout the organization. But I definitely passed along the good word to others about him and his fellow co-workers. In closing, I definitely recommend these people as good people to do business with. Having leased over 15 vehicles over the past 30 years, I can definitely say that this dealership has the finest quality customer service available.

Staff were not responsive or customer oriented. I dropped my car off at 7am and after 4 calls was finally able to speak with Willie the assistant manager at 1:30pm about the status of my car. I specifically reuested a call bakc before 12noon in case I needed to rent a vehicle if the repairs would extend beyond one day. Needless to say, my car was not even looked at so at 2:30pm I picked up my vehicle and scheduled an appointment with Walddorf Chrysler who normally services my car. I also contacted the General Manager who was not accomodating nor interested in retaining my business and told me that I could pick up me car. I asked him and he didn't care about my concerns and even suggested that I pick up my car. The staff was rag tag and totally unprofessionally. this is the second bad experience that I have had with this company and I will never go back. I am a loyal chysler customer having purchased three vehicles. Please be assured that my complaints is honest and genuine. I can be reached on 301-203-9214 for additional information.
