I would recommend Lithia of Bend to friends and family. The sales staff TJ was great and made the purchase easy and very quick. The sales manager was great he showed me his own Chevy Silverado and accessories available. The finance guy Patrick made quick work of the paperwork as I had time restrictions. He was thorough and explained all the signatures completely but wasted no time very helpful to me that day.

Inventory for 2015 PU's was low, I got a call saying a new truckload of PU's came in so I drove in there and there wasn't any new truckload I was lied to just to get me in there! That's why I'm driving a GMC. The service department has always been great

Fantastic customer service. I had a blow out and they fit me in right away and saved me money by finding I had purchased extra coverage that I didn't remember purchasing. Very friendly, caring and easy to work with. Five stars

10/20/2016I have had an ongoing issue with Cadillac Chevrolet of Bend since January 2016. That is when I purchased a used vehicle from them. I first attempted to deal with the dealership directly after the purchase in regards to the issues. The day after purchasing it I first went to the salesman who sold me the car, then to the General Manager Steve Burnett. Steve said he would make it right and fix the problems. They didnt resolve all of the vehicles problems mainly the engine issues. After multiple return trips to attempt to fix the issue they could find nothing. Eventually Warren Regnier, a service rep, began to ignore my calls. Inevitably my check engine light went off so I went back to the dealer on 9/29/16. After another unsatisfactory interaction I contacted the corporate office for GMC. On 10/5/16 my contact at Corporate directed me to contact the Customer Experience Manager at the dealer, Bill Riter. Bill Riter is also the Service Manager. That same day I was given his contact information I called him. He asked me to email me his concerns which I did immediately after our phone call. On 10/11/2016 after waiting a week I re-sent the email to Bill thinking he didnt receive it. Nope. Now Bill is ignoring me too. I even spoke to David Neuberger the Assistant Service Manager and let him know I was waiting to hear from Bill. I guess this is how they tackle issues head on. Fast forward to two weeks later and still no word from Bill! After calling Lithias corporate office on 10/20/16, I suddenly received a call from Bill. He offered no resolution whatsoever. As of today it will has been three weeks since they have had my vehicle to repair it. Clearly they do not know what they are doing. Replacement of an engine should not take three weeks. I do not trust their ability to diagnose or repair. Chevy Cadillac of Bend violated the Federal Trade Commission Act Section 5; Unfair or Deceptive acts. They violated both portions of that Act as it pertains to Deceptive Acts or Practices and Unfair Acts or Practices.Deceptive Acts or Practices: 8A representation, omission or practice is deceptive if it is likely to mislead a consumer acting reasonably under the circumstances and is likely to affect a consumers conduct or decision regarding a product or service. The dealership violated this act by pricing this vehicle at full Retail Price. It assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and takes into account the dealers profit and costs for advertising, according to Kelley Blue Book. Unfair Acts or Practices: An act or practice is unfair where it: Causes or is likely to cause substantial injury to consumers. The dealership violated this act primarily by not performing a pre-inspection of the vehicle prior to selling it to me. Due to the lack of pre-inspection on the vehicle the following things were wrong with the vehicle upon purchase:1)Transmission Pump: First major item replaced on car. After that the engine was still not performing correctly. I took it in a minimum of two more times after this repair complaining of continuing trouble with the vehicle. To no avail. $3,000 repair2)Engine: The entire engine is in the process of being replaced with a re-manufactured engine. This is the most recent item that had to be replaced or repaired. This was a problem from day one but they couldnt diagnose the issue. I took it in at least two more times after the transmission pump was replaced to complain of car issues. After being ignored by my service rep the check engine light went off months later in September. Once plugged into the diagnostic machine they were able to determine that the #1 cylinders spark plug fouled out due to leaking from the oil ring. They attempted multiple times to put a bandage on this issue and make the minimum repair to the vehicle instead of looking into other potential damage. First they wanted to only replace the oil rings, spark plugs and fluids. I called the GMC corporate office to insist that they replace the pistons as well. Due to the potential damage the pistons could have suffered from the oil leak. Which they never brought up or acknowledged could be an issue. I contacted my brother who is a mechanic and he made me aware of the likely piston and engine damage. After much insistence on my part and multiple calls to the GMC corporate office they agreed to replace the pistons. Upon replacing the pistons they found hot spots on the top of the #1 cylinder where there was also a bulge in the #1 cylinder wall. Subsequently the entire engine now needs to be replaced. Thank goodness I insisted they look harder at the potential damaged caused or this issue would not have been repaired correctly. They would have sent me on my way with a bandage and continual engine problems. They are the experts they should have known to look into the engine further that without me having to point it out. $4,500 repair3)Weather Rotted Tires: I was unknowingly driving my babies around on rotted tires. I was unaware they were in that condition until I took the vehicle in for an alignment. The technician pointed them out to me. Wanting to make sure that was correct I took them to another tire place and they confirmed it. I had to save a month and a half in order to be able to afford them. I was extremely limited in my ability to drive during that time as the tires were unsafe. On June 14, 2016, I paid $767.04 for four new tires. 4)Sunroof: Leaking into frame of vehicle and making dripping noises. They made a repair and it no longer makes the dripping noise.5)Drivers Side Window & Passenger Window: Drivers side window squeaks loudly when rolling up and down. Replaced drivers side window seal, lubed window tracks and slides. Window still makes noise just not as much. Passenger side window rattles when rolled up and down. Dealer couldnt find the issue so nothing was done to fix it. 6)Cruise Control: Not functioning properly. Replaced brake switch. 7)Gas Gauge: Not reading gas level correctly. Dealer couldnt find anything. Nothing was ever fixed. It was grossly negligent for the dealership to send ANYONE out in this local terrain on tires like those, a bad transmission and a malfunctioning engine. We have taken the vehicle out of reception range and into the mountains. I had no idea how un-safe of a vehicle we were in. We could have been stranded somewhere without reception, water or food. Thank God we remained safe while traveling prior to knowing what a horrible state the tires, transmission and engine where in. When a dealer sells you a vehicle they are obligated to sell you a safe vehicle regardless if its new or used. They cant claim they did that when no pre-inspection and not one ounce of re-conditioning of the vehicle was done. They falsely advertised the state of the vehicle by selling it to me at full sticker price. That would imply the vehicle was in excellent condition and it was not. According to Kelley Blue Book definitions it was in less than fair condition. Fair Condition This car has some mechanical or cosmetic defects and needs servicing, but is still in safe condition and has a clean title history. This vehicle had MAJOR mechanical issues from day one and is now evident with the long list of repairs completed at 10 months in. It also was not in safe condition whatsoever. We no longer feel safe in that vehicle. I am not confident with the repairs that are being made. The repairs were not performed in an educated or professional matter the way that another technician with higher quality standards would have done. It's just plain bad business and lack of regard for your customers lives, safety and worse yet that this would occur to any buyer who paid full sticker price for a vehicle. My entire experience at this dealership has been beyond frustrating from sales to service. I think I have given their organization plenty of opportunity to change that and it has yet to happen. I have taken the vehicle in for so many visits in order for them to locate the problem, to not avail. We had to wait till the check engine light came on. Still to this day they have yet to even apologize or acknowledge the situation despite my numerous efforts to address the issue. They are simply ignoring me and hoping I will go away.

Our purchase of a new car was a pleasant experience. I would say it was a bit long, but we did reach a place where we were able to make a purchase. The two salesmen that assisted us were well informed on the car we wanted, and worked diligently to find us one for the right price. They worked very hard to meet our checklist of items we wanted and didn't want to pay for. Justin Gift did most of the work to sell us this car, but Evan was there to help as well. Thank you for a great job. Joan Whittley

I had the exact same experience as another reviewer! They didn't inspect or service a truck I bought there or fix the simple aliment problem I notified them of during the test drive (despite telling me that they did). When I called to ask them about the service history of the vehicle, I was told it was serviced AT A MILEAGE HIGHER THAN THE VEHICLE CURRENTLY HAS and when I took the truck to an independent mechanic they pointed out several issues that should have been completed in service. Please, please, please folks, avoid this place at all costs. There is a real culture of dishonesty there and they are going to try to make a quick buck at your expense.

We had been shopping for a newer Suburban to replace our old one. We thought used would be the way to go but after a long time of shopping around we could not find one for a price or miles we thought reasonable. We shopped here and found we could buy a new one for a more reasonable price than we thought. The salesman, Evan and the finance guy Patrick were easy to work with and nice.

My experience with Chev. of Bend was exceptional. Warren Regnier, the service advisor worked closely with my insurance company to get the repairs completed. Warren was thorough and very good at communicating with me. Warren demonstrated an in-depth knowledge of the diesel engine in my truck and what steps were needed to provide a complete repair following an incident with contaminated fuel. I found his efforts to be 'beyond the call' and I very much appreciate his help.

Worst car buying experience I've ever had in my life. They sold me a truck that they never pre-inspected. The GM, Steve Burnett, promised he would make the issues I had with my truck right. I'm still waiting...... I've taken my truck to their "service" department more than 4 times for the same issue I've had since I bought it. Do you think they fixed it? Nope. Instead Warren ignored my calls and never called me back. I guess that's how you handle a customer who hasn't been helped. Ignore them. Problem solved. Not so much. Now my check engine light is on for the same reason I brought it in four times for. I wouldn't recommend this dealership in any capacity. Not for a new or used vehicle and definitely not for your service needs. Avoid this nightmare at all costs. They don't stand by the products they sell or "service" they provide. One thing you will get you for sure is elevated blood pressure. The only reason I've come back at all is because I have a warranty there and my oil changes are free. Otherwise I would never step foot in this establishment ever again. I've been more than patient with them. It's a complete joke at this point. If I could give them zero stars I would!

The service associate was helpful and knowledgeable. He gave me a realistic time frame for a walk in oil change. Mechanics were able to get me out in half the time I was quoted for, which was very impressive. The television was turned onto trashy t.v. and the volume was up. Either put on subtitles or don't have the t.v. on at all.

We were visiting the area with our 5th Wheel (which we left in Crescent south of Bend for the day). While driving into Bend to explore, we noticed smoke coming out from under the hood. We pulled over, retrieved the fire extinguisher and looked for flames. Luckily, there were none, but there was lots of smoke. We drove quickly to Chevrolet of Bend. They were able to diagnose the problem, fix it and have us back on our way quickly. Very efficient, and friendly staff.Thank you so much!!

I am a pediatric physical therapist here in Bend. I was able to procure an adaptive car seat for a 6 year old client of mine but her parents were unable to get this Chevy dealer to install it in their Chevy Suburban due to "insurance reasons"! I was frustrated so emailed them, Bill Riter emailed me back right away explaining the liability issues in detail and directed me to Advanced Mobility here in town. They were able to install the car seat right away and the Chevy dealer paid for the installation! What a great community partner!

My 2011 GMC Diesel developed two problems while I was on vacation with a 32' RV, my wife, and two dogs. The dealership told me they could/would service the warranty. I kept in touch with the service writer, Ryan, by leaving voice mail messages. He was prompt and consistent in getting back to me in a timely manner. I have had less than satisfactory results with Lithia Motors in Grants Pass and did not expect such courteous, prompt attention as I did receive.I can, in good spirit, offer a positive recommendation to Chevrolet / Cadillac of Bend and especially to Ryan, an excellent representative of the business.

They gave my husband a ride home and picked him up and took him back. The only problem we experienced was somehow when I called to make an app. I got a switchboard instead of the local store and she said we couldn't make an app. Now I know that we can make an app. So it will be better next time.

Our sales person was one of a kind. He did not try to push us into a bunch of vehicles that weren't what we wanted. He listened carefully, told us the closest two or three cars he had to it on the lot and then got busy on his computer. We switched gears on him a couple times. We told him what we really wanted.. and he found us exactly what we asked for and got it here in the matter of days. Easiest transaction I have had in a long time. Thank you!

While test driving our suburban the engine was really rough. I told the salesman I wanted it looked into. He said 'no problem we will take a look'. We bought the car with tires that were very low. They were more concerned with making money than doing what's right. We had the car less than a week. While at the coast the check engine light came on. $600 dollars later it's fixed. The problem was 8 bad spark plugs and tune up. Told this dealership the issue. They said had you bought it in we could look at it. Yeah on vacation!!!! 6 hours away have it towed to bend. Idiots!! They said had we shown up for our appointment they would have done some thing. We told them we did even warren the service manager said we came in and we were not on the books. So he sent us away. After much Judy plan, flat out lying to me I walked out. NEVER TRUST ANYONE HERE!

This was a very pleasant buying experience. At no time during the process did I ever feel rushed or pressured. My questions were answered quickly, and the interaction I had with both the sales and finance teams was easy-going. In the end, I felt I was given a fair amount on my trade and several options during financing. Overall, I truly enjoyed this purchase experience.

On 2/20/16 I took my car in to have the oil changed. The people in the service department greeted me with smiling faces like they always have. I had always felt this was a honest and genuine dealership. That was a Saturday and my car was parked in the garage until Monday morning 2/22/16. Lunch time arrives and I headed to the car wash. I am very particular about my car so I wash it about twice a week. When drying off my car I noticed two small dings/chips along the front hood, also seeing that the chrome grill had been scratched and it looked as if the chips had been hastily touched up. I know every scratch, ding, and blemish on my car. Being a gloss black car and the dings are on the left front corner of the hood they really stand out. I returned to work and immediately I called the dealership knowing this damage was not there before taking it in for the oil change. I spoke to the service manager and he calmly said he would look into it and not to worry. The next day 2/23/16 I had not heard back so I called and spoke to him again explaining how upset I am about the damage. Again he said he was looking into it and he will call me back. As he promised he called me back after five pm that next day 2/24/16. He explained to me that the person that had worked on my car was no longer with the company and he felt that something may have happened to my car. He said that because of this he would repair the damage to my car at no cost to me. I was relieved and very satisfied with him and the dealership. We agreed I would bring the car in the next day so he can take pictures and set up a appointment for the repairs. When I showed up the next day 2/25/16 I was asked to wait for him in the lobby. I spent about twenty minutes waiting when he finally came to speak with me. We walked out to my car and he started to explain to me that this damage was not done by his "people" and that it has already been repaired by a professional. He also explained the that chrome damage was from normal age. I asked how is it that it matches the width of the dings and chips in my hood almost exactly? He did not answer. He explained that He would have his dent-less repair team try to fix it but he was not going to repair the paint, properly repair the dent, or replace the now damaged chrome grill as he had previously promised. I then asked him how a professional would repair the damage and he explained they would have a "body guy" repair the dents then a "paint guy repaint it". I then asked if this was done by professionals how is it that I still have dents and chips in my hood? He become irritated when I asked him this knowing that I had caught him trying to lie to me. He then tried to explain to me how this could have happened on the road or in a parking lot and I again asked if that is true how was it then repaired professionally? Did someone damage my car and then repair it professionally with out telling me? Did a piece of road debris damage my car and then a professional came along and repair it? At this time he was really trying to get me to settle with the dent-less repair and I was not giving in I told him his "people" did this and he had already told me he felt the mechanic that was no longer with them may have done this, on top of that he had already promised me the repair's. We exchanged a few final words that I will not repeat because they are out of frustration and anger. The next day 2/26/16 I attempted to contact one of the dealership mangers I was direct to a voice mail so I explained briefly my issue and asked to be called back. I waited until the following Monday 2/29/16 understanding he may need to research the situation and get back to me. I received no call. After three more days I called again asking for a manager and again was sent to voice mail and again I explained my issue briefly and asked to be called back. I still have not received a call back and it is now 3/13/16 Bottom line is the dealership seemed to be honest and stand by their promises but in my case that is clearly not true.

I still have not received a call back and it is now 3/13/16 Bottom line is the dealership seemed to be honest and

On 2/23/2016 the Lithia Chevrolet of Bend dealer did a r&r of a defective reductant DEF tank heater kit install on my diesel truck. Asst Service Manager David Neuberger handled my service needs, from initial explaination of the diagnostic, insuring order and delivery of replacement parts, and timely schedule of repair. Very courteous, professional and efficient service. Highly recommended.

I have never expected too much from any dealer but they were rude and disrespectful. We will never go back there and never recommend them for service or buying a car. We were supposed to have the car aligned and detailed, (it was in the written agreement) and they made us come in multiple times to get it done. When we FINALLY got it in, they didn't even detail it. When called them on it, we were treated so disrespectfully and Implied we were liars. We will never recommend them and only have had negative experiences with multiple people there, in sales and service.

Hands down the best car buying experience we have ever had! I wanted to surprise my husband with a truck for Christmas, I knew the exact truck he wanted and Lithia just happened to have one. Our lives are so busy right now, that a day at the dealership was out of the question. I called the dealership at 5pm on a Tuesday night and was lucky enough to be transferred to Izzy. I told Izzy what I wanted, we negotiated briefly, and by 8pm that same night, he delivered a 2016 Chevy Silverado 3500HD to our house in Redmond! Complete with a huge red bow! Seriously, these guys at Lithia know how to make buying a truck easy! Thank you so much Izzy, for making this a Christmas that Don won't forget! You Rock!

I went to purchase a car on 9-13-15. I called ahead to set an appointment to have my current vehicle assessed for trade in value. They employed deceptive tactics and were not forthcoming or respectful. I don't expect much from car dealerships in general, but the disrespect I was shown has encouraged me to give my first negative review of a company. The employees are not honorable or truthful. I would encourage potential buyers to shop elsewhere.

Brian my sales representative was by far the nicest most knowledgeable person I had talked to in my search for a new Silverado. I talked to many local dealers in my search and when I talked to Brian I tol my wife I wanted to drive to bend to buy my truck. Quality and service from service dept representative was outstanding; especially appreciated the follow up phone call day after service appointment to check and see everything was OK. I had to wait about 15 minutes to drop off my truck when I arrived a bit before my scheduled drop off time. This was frustrating, why schedule a drop off time if there is a significant delay in drop off process? Again I had to wait to checkout and pickup the truck. Seems like the service department could use additional customer representatives. Thanks,Jay Robertson Kehne

My truck was having a malfunction within the shift solenoid of the valve body and needed to be replaced. I was quoted by your team that this would cost $2700 which I felt was outrageous. I took my truck to a certified mechanic and had the same work done for $327. The solenoid cost $56. The total parts was $104. So I understand that your overhead is much bigger but to charge me $2400 more is outrageous and has cost you and everyone I know the loss of their business. I would also like to add that to stay a loyal Chevy owner I tried to buy a new truck and was my truck as a trade in was valued $3000 less for the quote of the work that needed to be repaired. Thank you for your attention.

To start with our service person Jeff Raszler was rude not friendly or helpful,he acted as if we were stupid for saying we had a recall notice, when I had the letter from GM stating the recall of the ignition key not removing from steering column. This is a safety issue an not being handled with diplomacy or professionalism at all.this was on Jan 9 2015 at 8:00am we returned back to dealership 12:50 to find out why they had not called us yet??? We.must have disturbed Jeffs lunch because they called him to return to his desk. Then Jeff told us our body control module was not working n would need to be repaired$525.00 he did not explain first that the part was$225 n labor was $295 he just said $525! He did not explain what the body control part did? N I still dont know what it does or controls??? So we told him we were not going to fix the body control module that we just want the recall on the ignition fixed so we can get the key out of steering column, instead of manual releasing key through bottom of steering column with finger!!!Today Jan 29 at 10am call back to find out why is it taking 20days! To get this part!!!!!I get Jeff Razsler again an ask where is part for recall???? He starts to say im not sure but I was the one who handled it an I dont see that any part was oreded for recall??? He had told us on Jan 9 that he was ordering part an would call when it came it??? Now he says I will call u back when I figure out what happened???zHe calls back an says he just ordered the part today jan 29 !!!!! Im not happy with his inability to order a recall repair when I have the notice from GM.So lets see how long I have to wait now? Do they not care?

I just bought my 4th car from this dealer in 6 years, 3 were new and this one is a 2013 Tahoe. Sales experience was terrible, the car was damaged and not disclosed. When pointed out they ignored the issues and just brushed it off. Headlight seal is broker so it's full of water and fogs up, fog lamp is cracked and filled up with water and fog, inside wheel well lining is worn through from the tire rubbing against it, shards of glass under the passenger seat, tiny nicks in the leather seating as a result of glass shards and lastly, the clear coat on the lower passenger side door is pealing off and bubbling up. Oh, they still owe me the second set of keys! Also forgot to mention that when I opened the hood, the battery was completely corroded at the terminal and leaking, they did replace that when I made a big safety issue. This is NOT what a 2013 Tahoe is supposed to be sold as. I brought the car in three times to discuss ad was brushed off all times. The sales guy came out and said he would get on it with service immediately, 5 minutes later he's jumping into a car for a test drive with no one knowing I was there. I brought it up with service again when they replaced the battery and said they would get back to me, NOTHING!!!!! The sales, management and service people all treated me like garbage. I will NEVER be back to this dealer that I have spent a lot of money with and referred others to.

New to the area with three Chevys to service, and I'm a dedicated dealership service customer.I had a power window that wasn't working, so I made an appointment to have that checked and to get an oil change at the same time.Service advisor was friendly, but after fiddling with his iPad for a few minutes, he turned to show me my three service options: $150, $225 and $300 or so. I asked where the $50 options was. He replied that the $150 included the diagnostic fee on the window - which would have been fine if it was really in the description. Instead, they added other services such as wiper blades, air filter, tire rotation, and so on to boost the $50 oil change to $150. I had him add the diagnotic fee (which is cheesy in the first place), and remove the extra services. The advisor called later in the day to say that the oil change was complete, and the window switch would be about $180. He also said that the 27 point inspection noted that we needed brakes both front and rear. Fronts would be about $340, and rears would be about $350. The rotors were ok. I declined at the time, and had him do the switch.Upon picking the car up, I discovered that the $180 for the switch was on top of the diagnostic fee - something that should have been made clear in our conversation.I called my old Portland dealer to ask about the brakes. The service advisors were shocked at the estimate. Without rotors, they would have been $150 per axle, and actually had a coupon for $99. That's after market brake pads, not OEM, but I wouldn't need OEM on a 14 year old car anyway. Now suspicious, I made an appointment to bring the Suburban in for them to have a look. I drove to Portland and waited while the technician reviewed the situation. The result is that the front brake pads had 5-6mm left and the rears had 8mm. The told me that they normally recommend brakes at about 3mm, and based on what they saw, I had 15-30kmi remaining EASILY. Oh, one more thing, the rear brakes had been done last summer - about 14,000 miles ago.So, the Portland dealership found no need for brakes, and did not charge me for the diagnostic.I appreciate being encouraged to provide good maintenance of my vehicles, even if I don't follow every recommendation. An honest ongoing conversation will get you my loyalty and my referrals, although you may not get the largest sale per transaction. I have purchased three vehicles from the Portland dealership. On the other hand, if I feel that you're slamming services, or recommending things that are not needed at all, or charging insanely high prices - I'm done with you. I had all three experiences in my first visit here. Sadly, there's no other Chevy/GMC dealership close enough to provide my ongoing service needs. I guess it's time to change to an independent garage - or to Ford.

First trip was in spring '14 for a routine oil change on 2014 Silverado while out to check progress on house. After service an item was missing from center console.. It did NOT ''fall out''.Indeed I cannot accuse,.... however it WAS there when I tendered my keys and was NOT when I got them back. I had moved it from my 2012 to this one the day I took delivery and has never strayed til now. Said they would ''ask around'' and get back with me"...never heard back. I called and spoke with GM couple days later. Apologetic of course, .Again, I make no accusations, but lack of concern and follow up rather unprofessional in my opinion. Interestingly enough while in waiting room first visit overheard two salesmen whooping it up over ''slamming'' a customer into a used car and high fiving in sight and earshot of other customers, too. Such professionalism.Second trip was today, 5 Sep...made apt on Tuesday for 3 recalls and other elective services, warranted and not. ( Getting ahead of myself here, but one recall was for an air bag issue....less than 1/4 mile after their service the beeping "service airbag" warning came on as it does very time I start the truck. Makes me wonder if they performed it properly if at all.. So now I have to visit a dealer much farther away to correct their work or lack there of.)At 0800 service advisor wrote ticket, said he would be in touch with estimate ''soon''. Mentioned to him that this was the second chance visit, that I had problems before. Come 1100 had not heard a word ...called dealership...on hold for 15 minutes with polite and apologetic operator coming back occasionally. Hung up and called back at 1200. After 5 minute hold reached advisor.. Informed he did not have the estimate yet but would call me back ''shortly''. Two hours later just drove to dealership. Hard to get put on hold while standing there. One elective service they could not perform. OK by m, no problem.. For the second was told they did not have a part in stock so didn't bother to notify or give an estimate even IF they were to order the part.Apologized to the advisor for requesting that he might have made at least one effort to contact me in six hours and for taking so much of his time.GM was not in, so called back to voice my concerns. His excuse was employees on vacation and they were busy. Continued to talk over me and interrupt. Informed him that we are done dealing and hung up. Interesting transcript indeed. We are GM 'lifers',....currently own 3 GM vehicles that need regular service with plans to purchase a new truck and a Malibu or whatever works for youngest daughter in about 60 days when our relocation west is finally complete . They will neither be purchased nor serviced at this dealership. Location is so ultra convenient to our new home, but the lack of professionalism and absence of a trust factor cannot be regained by any apology, offer or incentive. There was one part of my visit that was quite satisfactory...Enterprise loaner.

On May 28th I called and talked with Jeff, told him I wanted an oil change and that the car had a kind of grinding sound when turning left Jeff said I could bring in the car at 7:45 am on Thursday the 29th. The Cadillac is my sons car who is at college down in Nevada.Thursday the 29th - Brought my Cadillac at 7:45am. Jeff said it would cost $100 for a diagnosis and that he would be in touch to let me know what the prognosis was. I hadnt heard from Jeff by 1:00 so I called him and asked how it was going he said nothing had been done yet.Jeff called and left me a voicemail at 5:03pm saying to call him back.I called the dealership at 5:45 and Jeff had left work, the guy who helped me finally found the paperwork and said it looked like I needed two new hubs.Friday morning May 30th, Jeff called me and said the car needed two new hubs which would run about $1,188; he also said I would need 4 new tires. I told Jeff I would consider it and get back with him.I hung up with Jeff and called Les Schwab; they said they would take a look at the car for free and give me a diagnosis. They said that two hub replacements would run around $560.I called Jeff back and told him about the Les Schwab price quote. He said he would see what he could doHe said he could match this price. I said no.I picked up the car from Chevrolet Cadillac of Bend and dropped the car off at Les Schwab with the same comments that the car had a kind of grinding sound when turning left. They responded back within an hour of dropping the car off. They said the hubs were in good shape, in fact he said that the hubs looked so good that he went into their system and checked if Les Schwab had performed service on them in the past. In fact another Les Schwab Tire Center had replaced both hubs back in August of 2013 (my son had them replaced at another Les Schwab Tire Center). Les Schwab said that the right front brake caliper was loose and so they tightened it and the grinding sound stopped. All of this service was provided for free. They suggested I replace the front two tires; however the back two tires were in great shape and would probably last another 40,000 miles. As you can imagine, I am not very happy with my experience at Chevrolet Cadillac of Bend. Not only was your customer service slow, the diagnosis was wrong, I dont know how your technician could recommend that the two hubs be replaced and how you could recommend that all four tires be replaced. And to top it all off, you didnt even change the oil which is what I originally came in for but you did charge me for it!

Chevy 3500HD duallys are hard to find, but our salesman, Dave Wilcox, did a great job locating the truck I wanted. Dave is very knowledgeable and helpful and easy to work with. No pressure sales here. I got a fair deal. I would highly recommend Chevrolet of Bend and Dave Wilcox.

Dave is great!! We parked by the front door, I though that something was wrong, I though where are the two ,or three salesmen, We went inside, and we were greeted by Dave Wilcox with a big friendly smile. The experience just got better after that. There was no push, just friendly information. Dave went over everything, many things several times, we were not very quick to pick up on so many features. A most enjoyable experience!!!! Jim & Millie Jackson

We received great service from Jeff Raszler at Chevrolet of Bend. We were in Bend for a short vacation, and our car broke down on a Friday afternoon. It looked like we would have to extend our vacation until the next week in order to get our car fixed...until we talked with Jeff Raszler at your dealership. Jeff ordered a part immediately, arranged for a rental car, and took care of us quickly and efficiently when we finally arrived in the tow truck. He then made sure our car was taken care of the following day, a Saturday, so that we could leave as scheduled on Sunday. Finally he took care of the rental car return for us, since that office was closed by the time we picked up our car. Throughout it all, Jeff was cheerful, friendly and super helpful. We feel so lucky that he was there to help us, and we wanted to let you know how lucky you are to have such an exemplary employee. Brandon was the first person we talked to when we called, and he was also very friendly and helpful.

I recently bought a dodge pu from them. When getting the finance done I requested to go though a certain credit Union. I was told that I would not be able too due to the amount that was being financed and the interest rate. I was told that they were going through another financial company which later sent me a letter saying I was denied. I found out later it went through a credit union out of Eugene. I was not happy about that, plus they were not able to tell me who the lender was right away either. I had gone to my credit union personally and now im in the process of refinancing the truck I just bought to have my payments and interest rate lowered. They not only did not want to try, but wanted to do things their way and not the customers way. After signing all papers many times, I checked into their extended warranty and it did not turn out as what I was told. I went back in and cancelled it plus them telling me when I was signing papers that I had to have GAP insurance on my truck, and I had told them I had it through my insurance. I had to call my insurance in front of them just to prove I had GAP insurance. All I see this dealership doing is lining their pockets with money and not caring about the customers or their concerns. This company was untruthful too me.I would NOT recommend this dealership for buying anymore vehicles from them, and I should have listened to my co workers who bought a vehicle from this place and was very displeased too. I have gone as far as filing a better business bureau complaint against this company.NOT RECOMMENDED FOR A PLACE TO BUY A VEHICLE!!!!!!!!!

My father has always highly recommended Chevrolet Garage since i was a child. I now see as an adult why he highly recommended Chevrolet of Bend as the place to go. i have an older blazer that i just purchased in may 2013, my water pump went out, i called Chevrolet of Bend, and a service representative that i spoke with (David Neuberger)very politely and very right to the point. made an appointment and explained to me (in english )what was going on with my vehicle.gave me some choices and pricesmy vehicle was fixed in a timely manner andwas treated with respect.I have been there again and receive the same treatment each time, I have been there 3 times, I would highly recommend each and every chevrolet owner to bring there vehicle into chevrolet of bend, now i am thinking about purchasing a new vehicle from Chevrolet of Bend. thank you David Neubergerand keep up the good worknow

I recently bought a 2004 Jeep Cherokee from the Chevrolet Dealer in Bend OR. This was the second vehicle we had purchased from this dealer in the last 4 months. The sales staff we worked with were helpful and friendly. The problem started when after having the vehicle for only a week and a half we started to hear a bad popping sound when driving, especially when turning or going over bumps. We had gotten the extended warranty so that we would have a hassle free, reliable vehicle to have in the future. When we brought it in to the service department they said that it would be a $1000 dollar repair, which wasn't covered under the extended warranty. When asked if they had found this when they did there over 100 point pre-sale inspection the sales department manager quoted "We had seen that upon inspection but did not fix it because it is not a safety concern." I could not believe that he had actually just said that. What I got out of that comment was this dealership is knowingly selling vehicles with broken components to customers. When asked if they would cover the expenses of this repair they refused and now I have a $1000 repair that I have to cover only a week and a half after purchasing this vehicle. My advice to anyone is to stay away and not purchase a vehicle from the Bend OR Chevy dealership because there is a good chance that you will be buying a vehicle with broken components. The most frustrating thing to all of this is that the service department knew that these components were not functioning correctly and they did not address them before selling this vehicle to us. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone and I will never be going back for further purchasing or service.

Lance was very professional and with a no pressure approach!!The pressure is why I HATE to drive into a dealers lot.So much so, that when I purchased NEW, I would always deal with a fleet manager.

Although this visit was basically a routine service (lube, oil, filter) I reviewed my service needs with Bret and we decided what items needed to be added to my service requirments for this visit. He arranged for transportation so I would arrive for my doctor appointment on time and said he would call as soon as the work was complete. Bret gave me an estimated time of completion and called as promised. although he offered to shuttle me back to the dealership I had a friend taking us to lunch so his offer was not needed. Bret is extremely personable, professional, very attentive to detail and just a great person to deal with. I highly recommend Bret Baker in the Service Dept. as a person to deal with.

The dealership was awsome!! Everyone was friendly and nice. Dave Wilcox went over every thing with me, including how to program my radio. I would reccommend him to any and everyone that is looking to buy a car. My Chevy Cruze is wonderful and I am grateful for all the work they put in to get me in this car. Thanks everyone!! Keep up the good work.

James & Kathleen Hansbrough67091 Gist RdBend, OR 97701December 13, 2012To Whom It May Concern:Sunday, December 9th we came to the Chevrolet of Bend Dealership just to look and get some information. We knew we would be buying a new car in the near future but were unsure what we wanted or needed since it had been 13 years since we last bought a car. When we walked into the showroom we were met by a very nice man, Ashton Castle. Our first words to him we are just looking and we dont want any pressure we are very intimidated by the process of buying a car. We were expecting to get a lot of high pressure. We would recommend Ashton to anyone, he stood back answered our questions and helped us through the process and no pressure. Ashton helped us find the car that was going to work the best for us and explained and answered all of our question with the patients of Job no matter how many times we ask same questions again and again. The dealership was able to put together a financial package we thought was fair so we bought the car and drove it home.We were pleasantly surprised the way we were treated. We will do business with Ashton and the dealership in the future as our needs arise. We have also told everyone who has come to admire our new car how well we were treated. Oh yes, and we just love our new car Ashton helped us make the right choice. Thanks to everyone you are great.Sincerely,Jim & Kathy Hansbrough

Evan answered all my questions, helped me to find the truck that would meet my needs. He did what he promised. The other people that I worked with were helpful and professional.Evon had to jump through hoops to find the perfect truck for me. He did a wonderful job of explaining the features of the truck, and to make sure that I and my wife were familiar with all controls.

I purchased a used Nissan Pathfinder from Chevy of Bend recently and have nothing but great things to say about the purchase experience. My salesman, Charlie, was friendly and helpful. He knew how to ask fair questions without being overbearing or pushy. I feel like I got a good deal on my vehicle and that I was taken care of through the purchase process. My experience with the service department was equally positive, with representatives (especially Jeff) being honest and courteous. I would not hesitate to recommend this dealer. They take care of their customers.

I have delt w/ Dave over many years. He is very personable and approachable. I'm not an easy sell, and Dave has to earn it everytime I see him. I really liked the Ginger candy, but the Chevy Impala wins by a land slide. Thanks Dave. Thank you Chris

We had the best, no pressure buying experience we have ever been through. Our last visit was with bend subaru and in 6 months we had $6,900 in negative equity. We were provided with many options with awesome rebates that allowed up to eliminate all of our negative equity. Our interst rate wentd down 7%!!!! We drove off in a new car, papers signed and out the door faster than bend subarus' lunch break.... Thanks to everyone and we will be back next year for another car!Blake and heather Bleving...Redmond Oregon

We had a Saturday appointment for service: Car service, wheel alignment, front disk brake needs new rotors, pads, etc.We made our trip to Bend. As we sat we chatted with a man needing a key door opener for his car. Head of Service reported it would be 1. $300 plus dollars and not in stock. The man had just bought another one for the same vehicle at a different Chevy dealer for $200. He was very disgusted. After some time the head of service came back. He said that because we needed synthetic oil that the price was now $40 more. I said that Chevrolet has an add out for it and that there is a discount. I told him that there were COUPONS still in shrink wrap on his counter. He would not give us the discount!!! or anything about this matter. He said the check engine light was for the catalytic converter and that an off brand would run us $1700. He was anxious to make an appointment to fix this.We asked about the brakes. We had been told by our tire installer that they were quite thin. He said they are fine. We had to have them repaired elsewhere as he said: THEY CHECKED THEM AND THEY WERE FINE!!!" We now have had to go to another dealer that said, yes, the brakes are quite thin and he replaced the worn out rotors and pads.We asked about the front end alignment they were scheduled to do that day. He said they had no way to align the vehicle as their alignment machine was completely unavailable and not working, a fact he knew when he made our appointment for the alignment. In summary we will never, ever return to this dealership!!!! What a jerk. We had just priced a new car there, but I can assure you they will never get another penny of our money.

We have known Dave since 2000 when we bought a used Chevrolet Blazer as a tow car. When we were broadsided and totaled the Blazer we went back to Dave & got a used Jeep Cherokee as a tow car. Then we purchased a 2011 Eqinox with Dave's help. He has always been friendly, helpful and always bends over backwards to help us get the best service possible. We will continue to deal with Dave in the future. We highly recommend his expertise in the auto world.

We came in to the dealership ready to be hit with the typical dealer "Car Game" and to our surprise, it was pretty painless. Charlie was very knowledgeable about his inventory and was very helpful. The Tahoe I purchased was spotless and they took time for every little detail. Thanks for my dream car Lithia!

My husband and I had visited the dealership when it was closed just to see what was on the lot. A couple of days later, we went back to test drive the Xterra that we came across. Victor was the first to greet us. We told him why we were there and he allowed us to look at the vehicle and then test drive it. Afterwords, we went inside, sat down, and Victor proceeded to see what he could do for us. I have to admit, that it was probably the best customer service I have gotten from a dealership, let alone the friendliest. We were in and out in no time, papers signed, and a new vehicle to drive home. Victor answered all of our questions, and even introduced us to the previous owner's husband (who happens to work at the dealership as well). It was nice to meet everyone, get answers to all of our questions, and fully understand the forms that we were signing and agreeing to. I would definitely recommend these guys to someone looking to buy a new vehicle. It was the best experience I've ever had buying a car!

My little buddy Dave was my first contact in the dealership. :) I wasn't exactly sure what i wanted or even if I wanted a Cadillac. I started out to buy an Outback but they couldn't give me the exterior color with the interior color i wanted so started seeing what other dealers had to offer. Dave helped me decide especially with the things i was not familiar with. He went over and above to find me exactly the car i wanted. i would highly recommend Dave and the staff to friends and family.

Dave helped me with the purchase of three new vehicles in the last 18 months. He was very knowledgable and thoroughly explained the options, both at the time of ordering and at delivery of each vehicle. He made sure I had all the discounts and rebates I had coming and avoided exerting pressure or "upselling". He made the whole experience as pleasant as possible.

My wife and I just had our first child and we needed to upgrade our only vehicle to more family suitable rig. After researching it online we decided we wanted to look for Chevy Traverses. We found a few throughout Bend and talked to a couple salesmen over the phone that seemed to all have an agenda of their own. Then we talked to Evan Livsey at Bend Chevy. All he had were questions about what we wanted and what kind of budget we needed which was very refreshing. His laid back professionalism made us feel comfortable. Mostly everyone we came into contact with that day was actually very friendly. His knowledge of the product as well as the industry as a whole really helped us in our descision making process. When it came to discussing pricing, he was very much an advocate for us to get to an agreement that worked for everyone. The negotiations were smooth and very fair. We paid a fair price that still accomadated our budget and allowed them enough profit to fix a couple of minor things on the vehicle which got us even mor excited about that convenience. Overall is was exactly how buying a car should be: easy, comfortable, ethical, and fun.

Dave and Joe are amazing sales people. I had recently had some trouble with a car that was much more to repair then it was even valued at and I still owed money on it. Dave spent the first whole day with me trying to find a solution, and then Joe spent the second. In the end I drove away in a car that I was apprehensive of at first but now I am totally in love with. My brand new Chevy Sonic. I have had to come back down to the dealership for other things and every time I walk in either Dave or Joe is there to meet me and help me get things taken care of that I need done. We will be purchasing another car from this dealership in the future when we need to and I can not say how appreciative I am that they helped me get out of a situation that I thought was hopeless. Thank you so much, and I can not say how much I really love my new car! Sincerely,Michelle Lockhart

I bought two cars from this dealership. The first visit went pretty well, the only reason why I even bought the car there was because of the business manner of the sales associate. The floor manager at the time was about as rude as one can get to a customer. The sales associate is exceedingly nice, friendly, zero pressure, and more interested in making sure I got what I wanted not purchase a car just because. It was for these reasons that when I was looking for another car for my girlfriend, we went back to the dealership and bought another car from him. I paid a bit more than I should have but that's fine because of the service one looks for when trying to decide on a car. Would I recommend this dealership to others? Already have, and I have suggested they talk to Ashton Castle personally.

My husband and I were looking for a bigger pickup and it just so happened that we came across an 08 f-350 4 door diesel pickup that was set up the way we wanted at Lithia and Evan Livesy was our salesman, I thought he did a super job of getting us at the price we needed and the interest rate was super, he worked hard to get this deal done and he did a fantastic job at it.I would buy another vehicle from Lithia with Evan as our salesman because he does an outstanding job. I drove threw just to inquire because I really needed to get out of my very low fuel milage vehicle. I am a very picky person and I had no idea what I even wanted to look at, I went in looking for a used car and after nearly 2 weeks of Evan working on finding me the perfect car I left with a brand New 2012 Chevy Cruze LTZ . I went to many dealerships around town and None were as freindly, helpful and not to mention as knowlageable as Chevy Cadillac of Bend. While Evan was not your avarage pushy car sales man he was still persistant and I like that the fact he truely wanted to help me find the perfect car for me. I enjoyed my experiance so much that I Have already recommended this dealership and Evan. I will be back in 3 years to lease the newest model of the Chevy line from Chevy Cadillac of bend and from Evan Livsey.I have purchased many cars from many dealerships and this time at this dealership has shown me that purchasing a new car doesnt always have to be an "all day" expericance, with the help of your team I was in and out with in an out with in hour and a half.

We had been looking for a new truck for about a month when we came across Evan at Lithia Chevrolet! He was very nice and upfront and knowledgable about his products as well as others in its class and knew all the pros about why we should buy his truck over the others! And we did! He wasn't pushy and explained every detail that made us feel comfortable in our choice to buy from him! We would absolutely recommend buying from him as it was a very rare and welcomed experience at a car dealership that you don't get usually! Honest, upfront, and was a pleasure to deal with! We will definately be buying our next rig from Evan and have already sent in two personal friends to see him about buying cars! Really, we could not say enough good things about him!

I was in the market for a used car for quite some time, but was waiting for a great deal! Victor from Cadillac/chevy of bend was absolutely great. When I first visited the lot they didn't have what I was looking for, but he reassured me that he could help me find the perfect car and was able to search other lithia dealerships to find what I was looking for. Victor was very friendly, knowledgable and most importantly was able to get me a great deal for my money. I have already recommended 2 friends to work with Victor because I know they would be just as happy with thier experience and purchase as I was.

This is my second vehicle that I have purchased from Lithia Chevy Cadillac in the past year and I was very fortunate to have worked with Evan as my Salesman both times! I look forward to making my next purchase at Chevy of Bend and requesting Evan as my salesman!! Thank you!
