I recently brought my car in for a diagnose/estimate, I was assisted by Alfred. Left my car in for a full diagnose due to my car not performing well. I was given an inaccurate diagnose; which would cost me almost $1,000. I was charged almost $200 for the diagnose. I decided to get my car fixed a private shop. My mechanic did not do anything else asides from what the dealership had diagnosed on my car. A day later I got my car fixed the same issue I previously had came back. Same engine light was on. I called the dealership because I felt I was given a false diagnose. I left my car there almost the entire morning. I was told there nothing wrong with my car. I then, asked to speak to the Glenda and then she passed me to the main manager of the service department. He was not very professional, he had a very disrespectful tone and towards the end of the conversation he said “period” to me. Like if he was lecturing me or looking down to me. I said I wanted my money back for the diagnose or I would like them to check for a shortage or for the v-tech solenoid. I have read that that could be what it was causing the issue with my car. Mark (I believe that is the name of the department manager) didn’t even take that into consideration and said that I could do whatever I want with my car and take it wherever I can. My money would not be refund and nothing else can be done. It is very sad and disappointed that the same place where I have been given my business had treated me very poorly and disrespectfully. I would not make business with Cerritos Acura ever. Service department is the worse !!!

When i say go to Acura in Cerritos! I mean run there! They have the best deals and best customer service. If you have good credit, bad credit, trade in or over mileage on your lease nothing is a problem they will work with you. Ask for manny he helped me get the Acura RDX black on black 2021! They work with your payment desired and down payment. 10 out 10 best dealer in southern California!

We hate to have to write a bad review of this place because we had such a great experience with our sales rep, Golam. We spent significant time at this dealership and made a deal on a vehicle and were signing documents with their finance rep, Jaime. Jaime began telling us about Acura’s extended warranty program and we politely told Jaime that we were not interested in any extended warranty products (in fact we told the prior manager that before we made the deal). Jaime said “I understand but I have to finish telling you about these products because it’s my job and I’m being recorded and I will get in trouble if I don’t tell you about these products,” and then proceeded with his pitch. He showed us a document with three columns representing different extended warranty deals (gold package, silver, etc) and continue to READ each bullet point. We let him get through his pitch and afterward repeatedly expressed our desire to finish the signing process quickly as it was past closing time and we had an hour drive back to our home and it had been a very long day already. Jaime continued to repeat that he would be continuing with his sales pitch of the extended warranty and accused us of not being good listeners because all he wanted to do was get through what he was trying to tell us. We explained that HE was the one not listening. He then said in an accusing tone “even if it’s something free, you don’t want to hear about it?” By this point it was evident that Jaime had taken our push back on the extended warranty personally and doubled down on presenting the different options we had already told him we did not want, stating again that if he didn’t finish his pitch he would be fired. At this point we went as far as looking up toward the camera in the corner of the office and told the camera we were ok with him stopping this senseless pitch which was clearly designed to wear us down. Jaime continued with an aggressive tone and would not relent, making us feel threatened by his approach and tone to the point where my husband told me to take extra caution before signing any ensuing documents in the process. Jaime had created such a high level of distrust that we did not feel comfortable working with him any further. I then looked at my husband in disbelief that Jaime had become so threatening by using this predatory practice. We ended up leaving his office and cancelling the deal, unfortunately. Be careful with this dealership. They have a culture of predatory practices. All we could think about was what if our 20 year old or a student were to come in and face a similar situation with less life experience…. We strongly suggest purchasing your vehicles elsewhere. This was beyond hard selling - we truly believe these are predatory practices against consumers. The word NO should mean NO under any circumstances and no finance manager should be pushed to creating distrust and disrespect toward any customer n this manner. Shame on you Acura. You lost what could have been a loyal customer for life. You hurt your dealer brand - but also hurt the Acura brand as well.

We have had terrible experience with Collene Fiore. Collene was incredibly rude on the phone when we wanted to book a shuttle to pick up our car. She was condescending and never confirmed the address with us. When I called back to confirm the address, she told me it was my fault that they sent their shuttle to the wrong address. I told her that she never confirmed the address and she yelled at me! Then, she transferred me to her manager so that I could complain without AGAIN confirming the address. When I called back, she never picked up so we did not know when the shuttle would be arriving and whether it would arrive at the right address. We are never using Cerritos Acura again for service. We do not ever plan to buy another Acura because our service at Toyota has always been good/never like this. What ridiculous service.

Peter Browning, General manager at Cerritos Acura was exceptional. He was very courteous, and forthright in hearing my complaints about an unclear communication experience I had in the finance dept when I leased my 2020 ACURA TLX, that left my needs unmet, and a reason to lodge a less than satisfactory experience. Before I spoke to him, other managers I spoke with, appeared to be acting with an intent to deflect, block and stonewall me in my complaints, and this left me very frustrated. Peter showed that he understood the value of clear communication, and clear customer input in transacting business. He is A modern day renaissance manager. He acted very very promptly to ensure that I was restored to a position of reasonable equity and satisfaction. The attention he gave me in making me feel understood, was priceless, and more valuable then any numeric monetary compensation. When you are heard, you are healed! Feeling heard and understood is part of restoration to equity; he accomplished that first step flawlessly with intent! He then exceeded my expectations in ensuring that I could go anywhere that was logistically convenient for my oil changes, and I do very much appreciate that. I would do business with this dealership again, and I highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking to lease or purchase a vehicle, as they do have a great accountability system in place. Thank you Peter, for being a bright light at the apex of your hierarchy of accountability.

Hi!I went car shopping at Cerritos Acura yesterday to look for a new vehicle.I was greeted by Alex Trujillo who made me feel comfortable and showed me around and guided me through the available cars there.I must say that this was my best car shopping experience. I went to Cerritos Acura looking for a used RDX and when I got here Daniel first came up to me and my husband asking typical questions. He was very friendly and wasn't too pushy and made us feel comfortable. We ended up looking at an Acura MDX 2011 and we went inside and talked numbers. After negotiations we ended up walking to our car and almost drove off. Then Edward came out of no where giving us a great deal. Before that Edward was inside with Daniel but Edward was occupying and playing my 5 month old baby. My son was happy and laughing with him. He made me and my husband feel comfortable and no pressure in buying the car. He talked to us and told us things we can relate to. He made us feel like we can trust him. In the end we ended up buying the Acura MDX. This store has made me feel like buying a car is stress-free and actually happy. Edward and Daniel are both great men who helped us a lot with a great experience in us getting our first family car.

I just purchased an Acura ILX Premium Pack with A-spec option. Edward and David helped make this such an easy process. I started my search by calling Acura Cerritos. Edward amswered the call and helped make an appointment for me. He answered all of my questions, found the car I wanted, explained the difference between the cars I was looking at. My appointment was set for a week later. Edward kept in contact with me the entire week. He kept checking to see if i had additional questions. I asked Edward about some options, Edward got back to me right away. He took pictures for me and text them to me!!!! I wanted to see the difference with paint colors, Edward sent pictures to be right away!! I received a text from Edward every single day, even the day of the appointment!!!Once I arrived, I waa greeted and introduced to Edward's partner, David. David was all smiles, extremely excited to help me find my car and make this transaction happen. He couldn't have been more friendly. We went for a test drive and he showed me how the car works. All of the options it has.And the deal was made. I love my monthly payment and am extremely happy with the transaction from beginning to end!!I love Edward and David!!! I recemmend them to everyone buying!!!!

Just wanna thank Christian Ramsey and Golam Newaz for giving me a great deal on my 2016 ILX, I'm grinning from ear to ear with my new car. To start off I would like to say that if I could give this place ZERO stars I would. Two and a half weeks ago I purchased a used 2010 Mazda 3 Hatchback from this dealer. Just last week I took the car in because I noticed that the car was not performing well. The car would stay stuck in first gear any time you gave the car gas. After the dealer held the car over a day and a half making me lose a day and a half from work they deemed that the car did in fact need a new transmission as per the Mazda technicians that they sent the car to (Mazda dealer is right next door on lot). This dealer is not taking responsibility for the poorly inspected car that they sold me and expect me to pay $1800 for the repair after only having the car for 2 weeks! On multiple occasions they pointed the fingers at the Mazda dealer because according to them the Mazda dealer did the pre-sale inspection for them. I personally don't care who inspected the car. The point is that the car is failing me and Acura of Cerritos is failing to take responsibility of their products. Looks like a bunch of failing going on at this car dealership. Now I would like to talk about the quality customer service Acura of Cerritos provides. NOT!!!!!Of course the sales staff was great when purchasing the car however, once they found out the car had a defect they sent me through the common runaround. First I dealt with the Service Department Manager (Mark). He actually wasn't bad. All he did was inform me that charging me $1800 is the absolute best they could do for me even though I had just bought the car and it was already defective. Next up was the Used Car Sales Manager(Mr. Silverlake or Silverback...something like that) Now this guy was a class act if I've ever dealt with one. While explaining to him how it was that I found the problem he insisted in mentioning the fact that maybe I should have bought a Ferrari or Lamborghini. To start off I would like to say that in reality the car was actually a safety concern at the moment when I first realized that there was something wrong. While merging onto a freeway the individual in the lane next to me failed to yield therefore since I was slightly ahead of him I pressed the gas and to my surprise the car went nowhere. Luckily I got ahead of him just enough for him to realize that I was there and he stopped. This manager Mr. Silverback was by far the rudest and most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with. He has complete disregard for his customers concerns, their feelings and their safety. Lastly, I stepped into the big guys office. The General Manager Mr. Rick Walker. It is clear to me why his staff has a lack of professionalism, why they have no manners when talking to customers and lastly why his staff insists in nothing but sarcasm. As I went on to explain to him the concern with the car he also various times insisted that "if I drove my car like a maniac, my transmission would probably also make funny noises." Number One: not once did I drive that car out of the normal. The incident that happened that day could have been catastrophic if that man would have hit me considering the only thing on my other side of the car is a 30 foot drop onto the freeway. Number Two: it doesn't matter what kind of car you drive whether its a old beat up clunker or a Ferrari or Lamborghini, if you step on that gas pedal you should be expecting for the car to perform to its full capacity and be capable of shifting thru its gears with no restraint, SPECIALLY if it concerns your health and safety. I would also like to mention that when dealing with this man he kept mentioning how "they were doing the absolute best that they could to address the problem." Well sir if you were really doing your best you wouldn't be receiving this very negative review/complaint. If you were truly doing your best you would take responsibility of the poorly inspected products you sell and you would fix my car! For anyone considering buying a used car from this dealer I would be extremely cautious. I personally would not refer even my worst enemy to Acura of Cerritos. I hope this helps with anyone thinking of buying from this place and turns away from here. As for me I am currently driving the car as is and looking for a service center that will fix my car for a decent price. Even if the cost came out to more than the $1800 Acura was charging me I would rather take my business elsewhere.

Mark Riley the service manager offers the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Not only did he tell me "if you wanted the perfect car, you should have bought a Bugatti or Maserati." He said that Acura has spent too much money and time trying to fix my issue and that there's nothing more for them to do. What!? My car 2015 TLX isn't even a year old and I have warranty for 6yrs or 100k miles! He doesn't listen to the customer at all. He simply makes excuses for why he can't hear noises and blames issues on the fact that the vehicle is of mass production and 3/5 cars will make random noises. I will never buy another Acura or Honda again.

I was shopping around for a new car and was kind of on the fence about weather I wanted to buy an Acura or a Honda. I told Oscar this and he was very informative of the differences between the two auto makers and not pushy at all. After he laid it all out for me I decided Honda would be more suitable for my budget. Although I didn't purchase a car from Oscar, he still takes the time to follow up with me regarding my new Honda. Oscar is sincere, helpful and genuinely cares. Oscar Acosta "Big O" is definitely someone I'd recommend to anyone looking for an Acura.

We purchased a 2005 Acura RL (used) from Cerritos Acura They were the BEST We found the car through Cars.com The we live in the Silicon Valley, and the car was in SoCal But we worked the deal over the phone, wired the cash, and planned a flight to Long Beach Marcus, our salesman, picked us up at the airport A few minor paperwork items, and we were off with our car, driving home. Very pleased.

I was invited to this service department with the help of another dealership for odometer adding miles not driven. As soon as Mark sawthere wasn't a warranty he said I can't see this car or give a loaner. He didn't ask if I could pay for the need to see and diagnose my car.He wanted the car for two days to drive, but wouldn't drive with me in the car to point out the inconsistency. I handed him the logs of mileage adding I have been doing near all of my trips. He handed it back to me.I asked him about the legal settlement on prior model cars and he said he has been there for 22 years and there is no such settlement.He said this is private property please leave.I drove there thinking he was going to test the car with me in the car and do a diagnosis as I wait. He wouldn't.He did mention a campaign printed, but did not tell me anything about it.Seems the more intelligient I became about the acura he became angry.

I have been looking for what I call my "inbetween" car (the car after my first car, but before my dream car). I walked the entire Cerritos Auto Square looking for what I knew I wanted. I knew nothing or noone was going to change my mind. I walked by the Acura lot and noticed the perfect car for , and at the perfect price. I dreaded the car buying process because it was my first time buying, but I must say that Gary was a very helpful salesman. He wasn't pushy about anything, and really made the entire process a positive experience.

I researched my vehicle online. I submitted an inquiry online and was personally contacted within a few hours, an appointment was set, a test drive taken. No haggling, no waiting and I was in and out including the complete credit process within 2 hours! This surpassed even my experience with Mercedes. What a great group of sales people to work with!

The facility was clean with salespeople who were not overly anxious. Golaw along with his managers were able to help me walk away with a terrific 2013 ILX. Acura is a superb brand and it's great to be driving it on the road. I look forward to nothing less than top quality repairs and services in the future.

I leased my Acura a few weeks ago, Marcus and Arthur in the Internet department were very helpful and they gave me all the numbers upfront so there were no surprises when we got there! I love my car and the pre installed alarm is well worth it. The car is loaded so the only accessory I needed were tinted windows which Victor in service was great for his follow up and they provided me with a new Acura service loaner! Thank you Cerritos Acura, I'll be back in 24 months for my next Acura!

If you are looking for a pleasant experience, I highly recommend: Marcus Van Doren (Internet Manager). From the beginning, Marcus, was extremely helpful in quickly responding to my emails/phone inquiries, and helping to set up a smooth visit when I arrived. Marcus was helpful in answering my questions and negotiating a smooth and quick transaction. He is courteous and i'm definitely appreciative of his professionalism and friendly style. He spent extra time going over the vehicle features, and followed up a few days later to ask if I had any questions pertaining to the new vehicle. My wife decided on buying a RDX 2013. She hates shopping for cars so I took a day off and visited three dealers. Tustin, Costa Mesa and Cerritos. I first went to Tustin and felt the attention was dry. Here is the information and what we can do. Not impressed. Second I went to Cerritos and was very pleased. Arthur was pleasant, courteous and human. I hope you understand what I mean by human, I felt like I was talking with my best friend. He was honest and funny. I explained that I was shopping three dealers and will let him know. He did not try to strong arm me into making a decision. I next went to Costa Mesa and was tossed around between multiple guys which I hate. All three dealers were within a few dollars on the lease but the way I was treated at Cerritos got me coming back. On Sunday my wife and I visited and sealed the deal. I have spent the good part of 4-5 hours doing the paperwork but was out in under 2 hours. They also are delaying the delivery of the car since we will not need it till next month. The finance guy also said if any deals come down between now and when we take delivery we could take advantage of them

I liked Marcus Van Doren's follow up and his personality shines right through to make one feel very comfortable. His expertise is second to none. He was very helpful in making our final decision to purchase the Acura MDX. I went over to Tustin Acura and was not impressed with their low brow attitude. I had owned an Acura Legend Coupe and I had a good experience with the Cerritos Acura repair department. That is why we wanted to purchase our new car at Cerritos Acura.

Marcus was excellent. He was able to make my purchase experience a very simplistic, very efficient, and remarquably easy purchase He kept me well inform of all the activities going on throughout our visit. I brought my TSX here each time I needed work / body work / routine check-ups. I trusted them completely and would defend them to the very end. This ALL changed when I brought my car in for routine service. They were always friendly (unsure if cause I'm a girl or its genuine). I was told that my car needed a ton of work done even though I had it checked not six months earlier because of an accident. I made clear after the accident to fully check everything out. After hearing that I needed a ton of work done I was shocked. I told I would think about it because its a lot and I'm a full time student. As I was waiting for my car, an employee was moving another car (a TSX) into a parking spot (where they usually park the cars for pick-up by owners). This employee had no idea how to drive a stick and went through the parking and ending up stalling the in the middle of lot. He then tried 3 times to get it in reverse, was unsuccessful every time. The fourth time he did this he actually floored the gas pedal and jolted the car onto the curb in front. The sound of metal scratching against concrete is like nails on a chalkboard. Add to the fact I also heard the scraping of the front end on the curb. He fully drove the full front end onto the curb. The front wheels were touching the curb, that's how far he drove it up. He got out realized what he did and found someone who could drive the car. What irked me the most is when he got out he was laughing! I went to the desk and told a girl employee who walked outside with me then talked to the guy and started to chuckle also. I was appalled by their actions and found my guy (who always helped me) and told him. He came out and seemed to take control of the situation. It's unknown to me if the owner of the car was ever told. I still have the car's plate # and have yet to find the owner's info. When I got home my mother who witnessed the whole accident also called Matt Browning, director of the dealership, figuring a man with that title, would like to know what kind of mayhem is going on at his dealership. We called him that day, left a message simply asking for a return call and received nothing back. I called the next day twice (morning / afternoon) left message both times, and still never got a call back. Just pure disappointment. Another problem I had with them that day is the "work" I needed done. I took my car to a family run service shop. I only tried this guy because my parents trusted him with their cars and always took excellent care and appropriate pricing. I told the shop owner that I had visited a dealer a week before and was wondering if I truly "needed" all that work done. When he told me that HALF of it was unnecessary work and that they were charging triple the correct price! I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS DEALER EVER AGAIN! IF YOU VALUE / CHERISH YOUR CAR -- TAKE IT SOMEWHERE ELSE! YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF AND WHO KNOWS WHAT ACTUALLY GOES ON WHEN YOUR CAR IS OUT OF YOUR SIGHT!

Worst customer service by far. Rude, aggressive, and they do not take lightly to push back on negotiations. I went in to purchase a new RL but their snobby attitudes swayed me to purchase fom a more consumer friendly dealer. Don't give them business. You can get a good deal anywhere else and be treated like its your money, not theirs, being spent.

I priced the car online, took the quote and was told by both the salesman and his manager they would honor it. When I was ready to buy they suddenly threw in all sorts of extra charges. They had some premium package I told them to remove it but they said they couldn't remove.

Sorry for the delay. Computer was down. Service was excellent. Mr. Newaz was able to answer all of our questions and concerns. He was helpful and overall very professional. He set up some of the vehicle features for me. And gave me a great interest rate. I am very happy with my vehicle!!!

I think it is easy to harp on car dealers. For the most part their bad reputation is well deserved, but Cerritos Acura in my opinion is one of the few good car dealers out there. I had a great experience from the time I walked into the door. When it came to deciding what I wanted they were very patient and helpful, but never pushy. My experience with the finance department (which usually is the most painful part of buying a car) was very quick and painless. Even as I was walking out the door a happy girl with my brand new TSX the General Manager came over to introduce himself and make sure I had pleasant experience.To be honest I am not really one to write reviews, but when I went back to get my car serviced for the first time recently and had another great experience I thought I would spread the word.Buying a new car is never really fun until you're driving it off the lot, but Cerritos Acura made it a great experience.

Dishonest salesman - would never, ever go back and will not recommend to anyone. The sales guy Victor called me at work to tell me to come down to the dealership before 7 pm because my car is available (my name was on a waiting list for a high demand vehicle at the time, paid $1,000 deposit by credit card to get on waiting list). Drove from downtown Los Angeles to Cerritos after work to get to the dealership. I got there at 6:50 pm but was told by another salesman someone got there before I did. Victor was already in his office negotiating with another party. Made me stood around to wait while he negotiates with the 'earlier' party. He promised me the car if I get there before 7 and now I am just being used to pressure the other buyer to buy the car, as the 'earlier' party looked at me several times while negotiating inside a room with glass windows/partitions - afraid that if they don't buy the car, someone else will. The 'earlier' party bought the car, of course, which means I rushed all the way there to be used as their little trick to make a sale, wasting my gas, my time to drive there AND stood around while they negotiate! He promised me a car if I got there before 7 pm, not a competition of who gets there first. If I knew I need to 'beat' another party to get there first, I would never even attempted to go there from Downtown LA during rush hour. I'd go to another dealership instead! I never directly dealt with a car salesman before and now I know what people meant when they say never to trust a car salesman. I would never, ever, go back to this dealership again to buy a car, nor recommend any of my friends to go...maybe my enemies. On second thoughts, not that either.

The salesmen are unprofessional. They are condescending.They do not stick to their word.Even when I called ahead of time, they were not prepared when I arrived.They pass you through five different salesmen.Save your time and money. Go somewhere else.

First off the expression. "They kill you with kindness!" Best massaging job you'll ever receive and then they stick it to you!Run from this dealership! Absolutely disgusting ! I bought a car for my son there and they lied on his application to make him qualify, hit me with a price at least $3,500 over their Internet Pricing and lied about every aspect of the deal! And then charged my son 8.45% after putting 75% of the final price of the car as a down payment!Absolutely Disgusting! Whe I called the Sales Manager the next day to ask him "WHY HE STUCK IT TO US!" He said...I'd sell every car FULL PRICE IF I COULD AND NOT LOSE SLEEP OVER IT!!!!!Go to any Acura Dealership but this one and RUN!!!!The Sales Manager is a LIAR!

I took my 99 Acura TL in to Cerritos Acura's service department to have some recall work done. At the same time, I had a tail light out and asked to have all four replaced. This was clearly stated on the work order instructions, and later showed up on the invoice aa having been done at $4.44 per bulb.About two weeks later, one of the lights went out. I went to my own mechanic for an oil change and ahd him look at it. The only bulb that had been replaces was the one that was out. All of the others were obviously original.I apid for parts that were not put on the car. Either the service department personnel doen't pay attention to work orders, or the people in the department are dishonest. If the allegedly "replaced" bulb had not gone out so soon, I would have never known. It makes me wonder how often this goes on at Cerritos Acura without being noticed. Buyer beware at Cerritos Acura!!!

My experience with acura in torrance, I had to pay $500.00 for re-stocking fees. which I cancel the contract with in hours of purchase. Gary Guillen in the financial department. they're are well trained to rip-off customers. They don't care at all for customers, I don't refer nobody even" my worst enemy to them". They lie and dishonest employees.

What made it worst, tech implied I caused the damage even though I only had the car for two weeks and had called prior to the service appt. to let them know the trouble I was expriencing. Honestly, the hassle I went through I wish I never purchased from Cerritos Acura.

Best experience I've ever had with a dealership. Picked me up at the airport, patiently stood with me (4 hours) through the deciding on color and buying process. Everybody was friendly, polite and professional. No games, pressure or devious tactics, just straight forward and above board. I can't say enough good about these people, even the finnace guy was a pleasure to deal with. Too bad I can't say the same for most of the dealers in the SF bay area.
