I arrived for a recall repair to a line of cars in the appointment lane, and I understand that Saturday is most likely a very busy day, so this did not really bother me. The appointment took a bad turn, however, when the service technician, Mark, came up to my car. My immediate impression of him was that he was angry at the number of customers at the dealership, as he kept muttering that the high volume of customers was ridiculous. He then took my information. I told him I was hoping to have a few other outstanding issues with my car checked and then repaired. He flatly told me No because the dealership was too busy on Saturdays. He did not bother to offer an alternative time or help me set up a future appointment, only telling me that I would have to come back another time, of my own initiative. I then said I was hoping to have my car appraised so I could get a ballpark figure for trade-in, as Im in the market for a new car and was hoping to purchase another Honda. Mark said Oh thats sales and said I would need to take my car around the corner after the repair to have that request granted. Ive worked in several customer-facing positions, so Marks attitude immediately irritated me; I know better than to express frustration vocally, or with my body language, when a customer is around. A customer is not at fault when your place of business is busy, so Marks sour attitude and attempts to push away my requests, which would have translated into more business for your dealership, were very puzzling and annoying. More business yields more profits, and that yields better job security, so Im not sure why this would make one of your employees angry. Further, Marks dismissal of my appraisal request, which likely wouldve lead to me purchasing a car at your dealership, was just astounding. Before Saturday, I never wouldve imagined a dealership would turn away business for a car repair, much less push away a customer looking for a new car. But that is the impression Mark left me with. Oh how I wish that were the end of my issues with Carson Honda. Mark called me around 3 PM on Saturday to let me know my car was ready to be picked up. When I arrived, I was told my car was outside somewhere and then left to find out wherever that was. No one walked me to my car or even pointed me in the right direction. I started pressing the lock button on my key so I could locate the car by the horn, but this did not work. I soon found out why. Once in the car, I noticed that the driver-side lock was broken and would not lock, either manually or by the remote. This means that my car was sitting on your lot for several hours unlocked, with my valuables inside, because your technicians did not bother to complete their work on my driver-side lock. I also noticed dirt all over the passenger-side floor, which I can only assume came from a technician working there without putting down a dirt cover. I was flabbergasted, especially since the receipt I was holding boasted of a multipoint inspection. Obviously this was not done. Finally, I noticed that the driver side door made an odd noise when closed, almost like it wasnt closing fully or metal was scraping against metal. I immediately went back inside and relayed my concerns to Mark. His immediate reaction was to tell me I was wrong, that no one touched my driver-side lock. Again, I was astounded by his lack of customer service skills. Ive never been so rudely rebuffed by someone in the service industry in my life. Mark then checked the work order again, and realized that there had been work done on my driver side lock, blamed the problem on a third-party technician who was not present, and instructed me to bring the car back around to be fixed. No time estimate was given me on how long this follow-up repair would take. Between 30 or 45 minutes later, Mark came by and told me that the repair was complete. We walked out to the car, where Mark informed me that the noise the driver-side door was making was not his fault, as there was rust along the hinge. I informed him that there was no such noise or resistance when I closed the door prior to bringing it in to Carson Honda. Mark told me I was wrong. At this point I just wanted to be done with the entire ordeal, so I left. The issue with the door continues to be very noticeable, both audibly and through the resistance encountered whenever the driver-side door is closed. I have been to Honda dealerships in St. Louis and Kentucky and have never experienced more dissatisfaction than I have with Carson Honda. Where once I expected professionalism and courtesy from the Honda brand, now I am left with the impression that at every turn, your representatives will pass blame, neglect to take responsibility, and in general let their negative outlook seep into their interactions with customers. All of the hallmarks of poor customer service were there within my interaction with your technician Mark: angry attitude, passing the blame, making disparaging remarks about coworkers and the company, doing a poor job to the point where customer property was damaged, and losing future business. I was looking forward to purchasing a new automobile from Carson Honda, but obviously I will need to take my business elsewhere. Please do some serious examination into the way your dealership is run.

I went in for the Basic Service, oil change, fluid change, etc. My service representative, Erwin, was very courteous, helpful, and listened to my explanation of what I needed. I told him to please check my directional signals in addition to the regular service. He did all of this, and told me that it would take about 1 1/2 hours. It did, and he told me that I needed the bulbs changed on a brake light and a directional, which would take about another 1/2 hour, which it did. The waiting room was clean, as was the restroom. There was coffee and snacks available. The payment process was quick and easy, no waiting. I really appreciated the honesty and helpfulness of Erwin. Everything worked well when it was done. He brought my car right up to the door. I most certainly will go back there again.

Wait time is too long, like almost 2 hrs for just a change oil. Waiting area is not big enough and service advisor offered free drinks from the machine but the machine is out of refills. Great, enjoyable, fun, and exciting experience going car shopping. Went in with what car I wanted to get and got out with the car that I wanted. Robin was a great sales person. He stuck by what I wanted and didn't pressure me to look at any other cars (since other dealers do this). He was very helpful on teaching me the basics of my car, the process of buying the car, and answering all of the questions I had. He provided me with choices and advised me on what better suits my needs. Robin has great customer service skills and makes it all about the client which is exactly what a dealer should stand by. I would definitely recommend the dealer to friends and family members. Overall, I rate my experience a 5 star rating as well as the sales person. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase and with the process.

I came in for a transmission computer update. The associates were very friendly and courteous. I was told the work would take about an hour and fifteen minutes. It took less than an hour.The waiting area was clean and they provided television, WiFi and refreshments.I was very satisfied and will be taking my car back for its next service appointment.

This was the second time my car needed to get serviced and I always take it to this dealership. They service the car fast and this time they even repaired a part in my car for free. They also have complimentary drinks and snacks, and there's even a shuttle that will take you to the closest shopping center. It ended up excellent, but it had a shaky start. Initially, the first service manager, Mark, was not helpful - and was going to send me home without even partially diagnosing the problem that I had with my NEW (4 mths old car). I then saw the service manager that I have only had good experiences with, Tavares (Tank), and he took over my service inquiry. Turned out that I had a bad cell in my battery, and it was deemed that it needed to be replaced. It was taken care of and within 45 min., I was finished.

I made the appointment two hours before I arrived. When I drove up to the appointment lanethe service person came out to and said to stay with the car and a service person would be out to assist me. Within 5 minutes the service person came out to greet me and asked about the type of service and if there were any other issues with the car, I wanted to have them look at. it was an A12 service, he took me inside and we selected the appropriate repair package( he recommended three different types) . He promised that the work would be done in an hour, About 50 minutes later he called and said the work was competed and there were two recommended maintenance that should be performed. AC and Oil flush. I declined due to money issues. overall a good experience,

This was the second dealer that we had went too and he was far more informative about the cars than the guy from honda world. we didnt even have to ask for a test drive of the vehicle. Carson Honda provided me with a great car buying experience. I initially worked with their Internet Sales team to get a quote and from there it was fairly easy, straightforward and transparent. I felt comfortable enough to buy the car sight unseen and they held the car for me for a week until I was able to come to LA to pick it up and drive it home. It is nerve wracking to buy a car in this way but they made the process so easy that I had no issues. Very professional team and would not hesitate in coming back to purchase from them again.

My first time here and I needed only an oil change. At firstI was a bit confused as to where I had to park for a small service. There were no agents or advisors out side to greet or guide you as you come in.But once I figured where I had to go the service was par excellence Luis Contreras, my advisor was very prompt attentive and efficient. She gave me more that just an oil change she visually checked the car all around. and advised.The facility is very well equipped and they do not do a haphazard job. You do not feel that they are overworked or are in a rush. I will definitely recommend this place.

Took my car for a recall and everything was done when I arrived to pick up my car just like the advisor said. They don't do car wash anymore but Jonathan took care of it if I was willing to wait so thank you for that! Great customer service!!. Only bad thing there's no parking and my mom couldn't park inside while we waited for the car wash. If you're taking the car wash out at least have customer parking!! I will be back for service.

I didn't purchase my car from Carson Honda, although I wish I did! But i have been getting my car serviced with Carson Honda. And it is a much better experience than when I was going to the dealer where I actually purchased my 2015 Honda Accord. The people at Carson Honda are much more friendlier and attentive. Every time I've gone to get my car serviced it's been less than an hour, verses when I used to have a 4 hour wait time at the other location where I used to go to!

If you are one of those people who are on top of your car maintenance and want to make sure you get the best care for your car, then Cason Honda is where you want to be. The Service man did an *excellent job* in having the oil/ filter change done to our 2012 Honda van Odyssey that we bought here at Honda Carson.... But more than that, since my wife Nida came in on a friday but had to leave to go to her dentist, she could not stay for the additional repairs.... So the service man coordinated the repairs to her schedule and set up the appointment for the next morning on the break pads replacement. I was the one who brought the van back the next day. They arranged for company shuttle to take me home. When told that repair will be done in 3 hours, I got the call back after 2 hours and 15 mins. Yesterday morning I visited Carson Honda in hopes of test driving a Honda Pilot Touring. Unfortunately the only Touring on the lot had apparently just arrived and was not drivable. Ok, so fine. I was interested in looking at the interior of the EX-L sitting in front of the dealership doors but apparently the sales guy couldn't get the door unlocked. Fine, so let's take a look inside the other Pilot parked on sidewalk. What? can't unlock this Pilor either. See you later Carson Honda!! How are you supposed to sell any cars if you are unprepared and can't let customer's test drive or even simply check out the interior??

I've had 2 oil changes, a tire rotation, and my 2 recalls done at Carson Honda and everything went very smoothly. Made an appointment online through their system which keeps all your info up to date and has all the recalls and services that you need done. With the online appointment system makes it so mush easier! The staff is very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend Carson Honda for all Honda maitnance. Their pricing is not bad either, and they offer a lot of deals.

I recently paid $50 dollars to diagnose a cluncking sound coming from my brakes. All they can tell me is they heard nothing when everyone who rides my car hears the noise! What a waste of $50. Also, maybe around 2 years ago, I went back and forth to this dealership service because they replaced items which they said was the cause of "oil leak" on my car but the leak was still there. I went to another small shop and they fixed the problem. I asked for refund of the few hundred dollars I spent that did not fix the problem but no one was willing to help me. My advice, do not go here for service.

Quality of Service is excellent no complain about, however the Service Tech needs more training on giving an actual estimate of hours the repair will take. Don't tell your customer that it will take 2 hours when actually it took almost 4 hours to do the Job.2 Hours? customer will wait in your lobby. 4 Hours is a waste of time waiting on the lobby, customer can do a lot of things instead waiting on your lobby. If you can't deliver on your promise of estimate time, how can you maintain a loyalty from your customer?

I brought my 1999 Civic Sedan in for routine maintenance. The process was very professional from start to finish. I made an appointment with Mark, who I've done business with for years at another dealership. He was attentive to what I wanted done, and made appropriate notes. In the process, the technician suggested a 4-wheel alignment since it had been awhile since the last one. in spite of the extra alignment work, the car was ready 1 hour before originally promised. As an addendum to rayk5799s comments, our family has been loyal customers but have indeed experienced issues. I purchased the referenced car for my daughter, and made that very clear when we negotiated the paperwork. Shortly after I received a call from the credit facility clarifying a few things, and during the conversation I mentioned that I was getting it for my daughter. They had not been informed of this by Carson, and as a result they declined to finance it. Carson started shopping around, and through their activity they damaged my credit rating. My daughter needed the vehicle and I ended up putting it on my credit card to expedite the purchase. Since we purchased it, my daughter has driven approximately 6000 miles. The vehicle had 95,419 miles on it when we purchased it six months ago, and we were told that it had been through their used car maintenance evaluation. There is no reasonable way that a transmission could go from good to needing replacement in this amount of time and mileage. It had to be an obvious pre-existing condition, easily diagnosed if the proper evaluation had been completed before we purchased it. I have an almost new Pilot and we have several other Carson Honda's in our family. If they are willing to accept responsibility and fix this for us we will continue to work with them and I recommend them as a dealership. If they do not, I will not return and recommend that anyone expecting fair dealing avoid doing business with them.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE IDIOTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Purchased a used car from them and within six months of the purchase, the transmission has blown up. Understand that this was purchased without a warranty but are you serious, 6 months and we now have to pay $2000.00 for a rebuilt transmission. Transmission DO NOT go bad in 6 months and during Carson Honda purchase inspection of our vehicle, they should have caught the burnt/bad transmission oil just by checking the transmission fluid level.We were told that by Carson Honda that there is nothing that they will do and basically too bad.I can accept buying a used car from private party with this possibly happening but not from a car dealership like Carson Honda. What this means is that they DO NOT check anything on a used car that is on their sales lot. I don't know about a certified car but definitely not the non-certified cars. I can't tell you how upsetting this has been along with the dealership not even trying to assist in any way.BUYER BEWARE OF THIS DEALERSHIP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Came into get an oil change. It took an hr and a half to get it done. The gentleman that was helping me told me it would take 1hr and 15 min, tops. When it was longer than that, he came and told me he would check the progress of my car. It was good that he kept track of the time and came to update me. Got my car and usually my car would get a carwash. This time around, my car wasn't washed at all. Very disappointed about that because it was the main reason I came to that Honda dealership and get my oil done there.

I visited Carson Honda on March 3, 2016 to have my passenger side air bag replaced. I had been receiving notices from them to have this "recall" work done for the past several months and finally had a free day to go in. All the employees from the clerk who answered my call, service technician who checked in my car, shuttle driver and cashier were all friendly, professional, knowledgeable and helpful. I would recommend Carson Honda to current Honda owners who need service and prospective Honda buyers looking to buy a new or used vehicle. I own a 2001 HOnda Civic and in 15 years have not had any major problems. With regular oil changes and scheduled maintenance, my car still runs GREAT!!!!

I am surprised by the decline in service at this dealership. I am a loyal Honda owner and have owned Hondas for more than 20 years. My service experience was so disappointing last week that I left after waiting for a diagnosis for 3 hours - although I had an appointment.I asked for follow up from both a manager and service advisor. No one ever followed up.I also requested a routine oil change. My paperwork indicates that my oil was changed and the sensor reset. My sensor reading contradicts that the service was ever performed.I was a loyal customer but will now have my car serviced elsewhere.

I purchased a Certified 2012 Honda Odyssey from Carson Honda, within 6 months i have to replace the rear brake pad, both 4 tires, and the battery. And i was told the rear bumper was repaint but it wasn't a good job (from my friend who has a auto body shop). I don't know how Carson Honda certified this Odyssey, but this was the worst exercises for buying a " Certified" Honda, and i will never buy any Certified Honda again.

I have owned Hondas for more than 20 years and have patronized this dealership for more than 15 years (at its previous location on PCH in Harbor City). This dealership previously exceled in customer service .I have noticed a dramatic degradation in customer service and attention to detail during recent visits.Paperwork has indicated that a service was performed but sensors indicated otherwise.Perhaps the dealership is under new management.I am especially disappointed because there has been no follow up from management.

Buying cars to me is a nightmare but for the first time in my life it was actually a great experience. I hate wheeling and dealing and there was none of that. Dean the Sales Manager, was straight to the point and I really felt he was upfront and I didn't get a bunch of bull. Ramon the Salesman, also another great down to earth guy. My time is very valuable and I was out in about two hours from the time I walked in the door to drove off.

Hi Carson Honda, today I had an horrible experience at your dealership. I had called at your shop and had inquired about its presence and availability about a used car (Mercedes Benz) before coming to see it. But when I reached, I was told there were keys for the car were NOT available and I can just look at it from outside but can NOT see the interior nor can do the test drive. To add on to it, me and my husband were waiting for close to an hour with no clear decision. The person attending us was least bothered about customer service and satisfaction. I have never had such pathetic customer service. Since the car we came to see wasn't accessible, we went ahead and identified another CRV that we could test drive and may end up buying. But to make things worse, we were told that keys were NOT even available for this car too. Can you please explain how do you expect your customers to purchase a car without even seeing the interiors or test drive. and still manage to ill-treat your clients. All your agents were just moving in and out, eating pizza and chit chatting. I just fail to understand, when there is a customer standing in your shop, how can your representatives just ignore their presence and do nothing about helping them. I was very dis-appointed with today's experience, and sadly will not like to recommend to come to your dealership ever. thanks, Swati

Came in to trade my 2007 and buy something a little newer; 2010 civic. Ricky was very helpful in finding the car that would fit my budget and was not too pushy. Ricky and Lorenzo helped make a good deal that worked for my budget. I came back a few days later to drop off some paperwork and they filled up my gas tank. Overall it was a good experience.

I have visited this dealer to buy a Honda certified car. the person who took for the test drive is good. after the test drive i have waited for 45 Min and no one came to ask for the options for buying. I went to the front desk again asked another person came asked shall we go for test drive, i said we have already did the test drive and like to go for buying. after another half an hour he came with paper with out pen and asked to write the details of me.Finally when we negotiated for the price negotiation he said " my manager said thanks for coming".Pathetic response from the sames person.Regards,Shekar.

Let me start by saying, I HATE BUYING CARS. It is very stressful for me and that is why I don't change cars often but I must say that Carson Honda made my car experience easy and enjoyable. David Deguzman had helped us when we were just shopping around and because he was so down to earth we promised that we would be back by the end of March. I kept my promise and returned to purchase my 2014 Accord Coupe. I will always buy my vehicles from Carson Honda..I usually hate walking back to finance but Dean and Francisco even made that experience easy and enjoyable. I had to leave for work and within thirty mins I received a call stating they were willing to match my offer. My new car was ready for pickup when I got back within two hours.

I just recently graduated from college so I was definetly going in with a budget to buy a new car.My dream car was the 2014 honda accord but I wasnt sure if they were going to be able to meet my monthly payments. So I looked at some civics. I spoke to Luis Razo a sales associate who was able to meet my budget and get me a deal on the honda accord. I was fairly impressed and very grateful. While waiting for my turn in finance I enjoyed their complementary coffee and tv which was awesome. I went into finance with a Fransisco Razo who was very patient in explaining extended warranty and the lo jack process since I was a first time buyer. I would most definetly reccommend this dealership to my family and friends. The process was very fluid and the sales and finance department made the buying process an ease.

We had shopped for a couple of weeks for a specific used vehicle so had a good idea of what it should cost to get what we wanted. Initial contact was via internet. Over the course of 10 days we had several exchanges. It was the easiest way for us because we they were a 45-60 minute drive from our home. They initially offered the make and model we wanted at a competitive price but with too many miles. So we checked their inventory daily and one day another similar vehicle appeared. We went to see it. It met our criteria and was favorably priced so we left and spent a couple of hours deliberating. Our experience with the sales lad had been acceptable to good, rather detached and formularized at first but knowledgeable and better than most and we were able to humanize him to learn what we needed to know, so we returned and offered to buy. The purchasing process was easy and relatively painless but loooooong. They have their rules and followed them but things like a long wait to get our credit scores when we were paying cash was a bit offensive. One problem may have been that we made the deal shortly after 5pm and much of the day staff had apparently left for the day. One man was doing the financial paper work but even though there was only one other customer during our stay it seemed to take forever. We did not finish up till 9PM. The finance lad was very friendly and efficient with the mound of paperwork (and of course his responsibility was to persistently upsell us on other items, but he took our declines graciously) however one could get writers cramp in that office. Overall people were very friendly. The usual group of sales guys clumped around the front door would much rather have been talking to customers than each other, but there weren't any. However they bantered with us, probably because we initiated it. My guess is that most potential customers are challenges for them. We weren't. Dealing with a used car salesman (stereotype intended) are a challenge for customers as well but it's easier if one is not a jerk. We did get a bottle of water and some coffee out of it but it was a good thing we had a newspaper with us to help pass the time. We got the keys at 9 and the car was still wet from being rinsed off. They were supposed to polish it but that apparently got lost in the after hours shuffle. By that time we wanted to leave and they wanted to close. Over all a good experience and better value when compared with others we visited, but too far away to return for service (or the polish job).

I contacted them to lease a car online, they were very uncooperative and gave me a high price. I was able to lease a better Honda Accord with less payments from another Honda dealer.

Very nice facility and well organized. The New cars are organized by color so it's easy to see what you like and the differences in the trim levels. We loved having the cars grouped by color so it was easier to find what we liked and could see what was available. Low prices are displayed on red tags. The best delaership we have seen. Clean, and well displayed cars. Bay far the best dealer. And easy access location. Highly recommend.

Ramon Ramirez was a complete waste of my time. He made everything sound nice over the phone, however after being convinced with the fabulous numbers given I arrive to Carson Honda and walk by about 7 sales people who were just sitting together chatting away. I got absolutely no "welcome to Carson Honda". Or any other friendly/professional approach. Once I met with Ramon I already felt I had came to the wrong place. The numbers completely changed. There was absolutely no enthusiasm and humor was very cold. He and Carson Honda made me feel unworthy to say the least. I might appear to look very young but I have purchased and leased over 10 cars including Infiniti, Mercedes, Chevrolet, Cadillac and Toyotas. Don't get fooled by their awesome numbers online or over the phone. I am used to receiving outstanding customer service and Carson Honda just failed completely.

Before we went to Carson Honda, we went on their website and looked at various models. We were impressed by the price listed, which is much lower compared to other Honda dealers in the area. Shortly after we sent our request, a sales guy Caddy called, we made an appointment for the next day.At the dealership we were greeted by Caddy, who turned out to be courteous and very knowledgeable, he knew everything about the CR-V we were looking at, and was able to answer every question we had. Test-drive went great, and I would recommend anyone before buying a car to test drive it and get a full experience.The negotiation part went easier than I thought, in the past we had run into sales people that are pushy and don't really give a crap. Our sales guy was actually nice (finally they do exist!), he was funny too, and that made the tense discussions more smooth.Overall, car-buying really isn't so bad, if you get the right sales people.

I went to this dealrship for the minor service that was suggested for the mileage of my 2006 Honda Accord. After they had my car in the service area working on it. The service mgr comes out with a cellphone picture indicating that my brakes were bad to the point of being metal to metal. He suggested "strongly" that I should get the brakes done there today. I guess he thought that because I was a woman that I would go for this scare tactic. I explained to him that I knew that there should have been some noise and some play in my brake pedal for some time, if my brakes were in the condition he was stating. Additionally, the picture showed that the pads were far from being worn down to the metal. He appeared miffied and replied, "he was just trying to warn me and I could do what I wanted to do. Needless to say when I left the shop my brakes now made a noise that wasn't there when I came in(suspicious) and although they were supposed to check my battery with the minor service that I did get I had to buy one within two weeks after the visit. I was told by the store that I purchased it from that it probably died due to the cells being dry and during the service I paid over $200 for, this should have been checked. Needless to say I will NEVER be going back to that dealship. PS they tried to get me to buy a new car while they were working on my car. I wouldn't think of buying from them.
