Capital Subaru upsold me on services they cannot do and knowing unable to work on non subaru's and sold me a car with a problem. Subaru service mgr knowing that they can only fix subaru's and non subaru vehicle's cannot be serviced on. Any electrical testing must be done off site. Capital Subaru will rip you off with service packages that they cannot fulfill. There way is to buy the vehicle back to cover up the issue.

Michael Holm helped make buying a car as painless as possible. Car needed a NEW battery almost immediately. And the alignment needed to be corrected. And the oil required changing immediately. Otherwise, as good an experience as possible.

Went in to look at a used car for my wife. Although we did not buy from them as my wfie did not like the car, the rep Kari D'Amico was great. Also communicated with Michael Holm via e-mail and he was also very helpful. They were not pushy and showed me alternatives and did'nt act upset or mad when we decided not to purchase. As part of a big network, they appear to have a large inventory of used cars and their pricing seems more fair than most. Wouldn't hesitate to use or refer Kari to my friends.

Came in on an extended warranty I bought on my car. Haven't had any issues and the staff is friendly. Popcorn machine in the waiting room is an added plus!

My husband and I take our Outback here for service, and we love them. Fast and fair. I'd like to upgrade to the new Outbacks but they're excellent cars and we'll probably drive ours til it dies. I would recommend any Subaru owner to take your car here!

I do the service for my Subaru Outback at Capitol Subaru since I bought it here. I purchased the Added security maintenance plan and have no headache for 3 years. The service is good. Kevin, was very professional to deal with! I really enjoyed the experience from Sierra Motors especially after dealing w/ Livermore Ford. I was all set to buy a used Jeep Wrangler. Had an appointment for a saturday but unfortunately they sold the vehicle the night before. Kevin did call to give me the bad news as I was coming from the bay area. So it wasn't meant to be. (my fault for waiting too long.) Very pleasant experience & i would deal w/ them again.

I had been shopping for a long time and I was really looking for an excellent price and a world class experience. I did not have to go far to find it. From the moment I went into Capitol Subaru I felt and saw a difference. They never tried to pressure me and they gave me a competitive price from the start. The staff knew all about the vehicles and that was seen by the videos they had on every model on youtube. I could not ask for a better out of this world experience.

Throughout the entire process, they were trying to swindle me. The prices quoted were high. The 'dealer price' sheet they showed me was an absolute lie. Finally, some nasty comments were made. I will never come back to a DGDG dealership, nor will I ever recommend any of them.

I wanted the low price that others have been getting around the bay area and the country according to other buyers and internet sites that assist in pricing. the internet sales manager would not give me other than a way high price.

We had been shopping for a Subaru Impreza for several weeks at various dealerships in the East Bay area of San Francisco Bay. We were looking for a fairly specific model manual transmission hatchback 2.0i Premium (very hard to find!)nd the dealers in the East Bay would not make me an offer below MSRP. Then while shopping online I found this (rare) blue one at Capital Subaru in San Jose and called to see if they would make it worth my while to drive all the way to San Jose. And they did (make me a great offer) so we drove down and closed the deal that afternoon. Michael Holm and the crew at Capital were great and we love our new Impreza.

I originally went to this dealership for a quote. I walked in and said that I was just looking, I was immediately shunned by the salespeople. After I said that two more tries "what if I can get you the best deal today, would you buy right now?" I insisted that I was just looking but would like some information they grunted and gave very insulting looks. After walking on their lot, I found a Outback that I wanted. I wrote down some information and then sent out for some quotes to the internet department. Jaime responded, he was extremely nice at first. Then I questioned the pricing and the options and the tone turned very different. I decided not to purchased from here, which was sad because they had the exact vehicle that I wanted, but I couldn't get it so I had to purchase one with more equipment but I got a better deal and service.

Worst car buing experience ever. Avoid this dealership at all costs as they will just waste your time. They offer prices on the phone and in person that they never intend to honor then just keep wasting your time to try to wear you down into their deal. I wasted so much time with them then got the same deal at Putnam Subaru with zero effort. Capitol Subaru is run by unprofessional, and unethical, people based on my experience.
