Very terrible service. I tell everyone I know to never come to this place and buy a car, took my business elsewhere now I'm a lot happier.

We purchased a new 2014 Subaru Forester here Jan 10,2014 and it has been great..We have only had normal oil changes and tyre rotation done in the last almost two years. We have never had any problems on getting the care in on days and time we needed..The service people have always gone out of their way to help and explain items to us..I highly recomend this dealership to anyone that is looking for a car...

If you need work done on your car I would avoid this place, I dealt with Greg in the service department and he was nothing but mean, rude and bullying. My car has recalls on it that never expire I wanted a recall done that was issued in 2004 that I never knew about after my car accerlerated and brakes would not work, I was scared for my safety. Greg was just down right mean and said he was not interested in doing any of the work, no explanation why, I am jumping thru all kind of hoops to get this taken care of and hope eventually they will do the re call work since it never expires and is a major safety issue, just avoid the service department at all cost and thank me later

Brought our new xv crosstrek to get bumper replaced. Chris got us in and out in a timely manner. It was nice to get some service for a change. Chris really worked hard to take care of us. Thank you!

Easy to shop and look for a new or preowned vehicle with no hassle and stress free. Lots of dealers close to my location and quick response to each inquiry. Great site and I would recommend using this site to others.

Busam Subaru was my first experience buying a car at a dealer and I have to say I was pleased. Pleased enough that when looking for my next vehicle, their lot will be the first I visit. I purchased a 2008 HHR SS and my salesman was Chad Lacy. He worked with me over the course of a few weeks as I was pretty particular about what I wanted. Their website had a listing error about the type of transmission which was a bummer when I got there but I was okay with it in the end. Chad was great to work with and was not pushy in the slightest. They've also got a nice lounge that my 2 year old daughter had a great time in, kept her busy through the 2-3 hour car buying process. My only issue is there was some paperwork that got missed which required another visit to the dealership by me and my wife. We were in and out within 10 minutes so I can't complain too much. All in all, I'm very pleased with Busam and I think you will be too.

There is no worse feeling than buying a new car for a price and then days later finding out that you could have bought it for thousands of dollars cheaper. This was my first experience buying a new car I really wish that you didnt have to wheel and deal for a new car. They even talked me in to a different color

I would recommend NOT taking your car to Busam Subaru for any services. I went there for my pre-60,000 service visit, and was told that everything was okay with my car, and that they performed all routine service. The staff was friendly enough, UNTIL I found an issue with my car one week later. Right after my car went over 60,000 and out of warranty, I also had to get the yearly inspection, only 7 days after my visit to Busam. The maintenance staff at another Subaru found a degenerative issue on the oil pan gasket ($500 repair cost, which would've been covered under our warranty if Busam had seen it), something that they say doesn't just happen in 7 days. They were very surprised that Busam services didn't catch it. When the maintenance staff at this other Subaru contacted Busam, they were met with rudeness, as were we. They wouldn't consider the possibility that they didn't perform a thorough inspection.

I purchased a 2014 Crosstrek Hybrid from Luke at Busam on June 20, 2014. I felt valued as a customer and the buying experience was exceptional. I met several other employees: Joe in Finance, Nick and Justin. All were very pleasant. I didn't feel pressured to purchase either. This is my first Subaru vehicle and I love it and love this dealership! I highly recommend them!!

From the moment my wife and myself went into your showroom we felt at ease..We worked with Chad Lacy and he did a outstanding job for us.. We felt that he went over and above what a noraml sales person would have done. All of the people that we work with on buning our new car were super also. We felt as if we were treated as family. Mr. Busam you have a great staff working for you and I can only how you reward them for the fine work they do...

The Busam Dealership over charged me on sales tax on a recent used car purchase. The tax was remitted to Kentucky, as required, but the local county clerk said that the over charge had to be returned to the dealership from which I would get the refund. I have called the dealership and left messages requesting the refund, along with my phone number and have received no response whatsoever. This seems to be a nice little scam for the dealership. Beware Kentucky buyers.

I bought a used subaru wrx. 8 hours off the lot it throws a check engine code. I took the car back to them they read the code and without further inspection they wipe the code and say its down to the aftermarket exhaust. This it the easiest explanation but the exhaust had been on the car for some time without a code. so the code had been wiped before I bought the car, shady. Also when I test drove the car I had one set of keys it turned out that was the only set of keys. Of course we didn't learn this until the paperwork was signed they agreed to split the cost of the key after a few phone calls where we were juggled from one person to the next. The car came with an aftermarket roof rack, never got the keys for that. We ended up working that out on our own with the roof rack manufacturer. In the end the overall experience was poor. We had to constantly call trying to get things done, the process went on for 3 months and we still never got the touch up paint we were promised. Once the paperwork is signed your low priority and I wont be back to Busam.

I saw a used car online that I have been looking around for (Nissan Murano) went there the following day to view. The salesman said the vehicle was not there that the dealership owners wife was driving it. He asked me how did I know about it, which I thought was odd to ask and to know later the he is the responsible person for putting the pictures of the used vehicles on the site. I set up a time to come the next day. Day 2 while driving there I spoke with the salesman he told me the vehicle was not there once again, I told him I would give them one more chance. I received a call back from salesman telling me what time the vehicle would be there for viewing the next day. They were not accommodating to the best time for me, due to personal use of the vehicle. Day 3 I spoke with the salesman a hour upon arriving to confirm I was coming and I confirming that the vehicle was there. I got there I was approached by a different salesman, told him who I was there to see he went inside. I figured he was going to get the person I asked for, we waited 20 mins the salesman was not called or located. I spotted the salesman myself taking pictures of cars. He told me he would put that car back and go pull the Murano around. We stood there waiting another 25 mins. I called the salesman cell phone I got no answer. I Went back inside the dealership asked another sales person if they could page him. Two salesman told he wasn't there it was his day off. I told them I just spoke with him outside 25 mins ago, a third sales person stated "I tried paging him earlier". So at this point nobody was trying or willing to help me as a customer. I told them I needed to return back to work, I had waited long enough and apparently a sale was not that important to him. After I left 10 mins later I received a very disrespectful call from the salesman, in that call he stated that he had to get the car clean. Just like getting a rude call the salesman could have called to say he was cleaning it. Furthermore why advertise a vehicle that is not ready to be viewed because the owners wife is driving it. I will never visit this dealership again, I will warn family, friends and co-workers of their unprofessional business

Busam was the best dealer Ive ever dealt with. I was so impressed with the down to earth friendly attitudes. If I could, I would do a commercial for them because I am so happy with my Subaru. I will recommend Subaru to everyone I come in contact with and should I ever buy another vehicle, this is where Ill go! I was sold on Subaru prior to my purchase as many friends had high recommendations and after actually going there and dealing with them I was sold! I am a happy customer!! So grateful to own one! Good help is hard to find and these men were very knowledgeable and helpful. I appreciate honesty!

Great experience working with this dealership, easiest and most stress free process i've had buying a car (new or used) so wanted to write a review. I emailed them about the car, received a call back from the salesperson, told them where i was at price wise compared to what they were asking, he asked if they could do a certain price would i buy today, i found that price fair and told them i would if the manager would sign off on it. They called me back and said we had a deal, i went in and looked at the car and took it for a drive, no pressure from the dealership while i thought it over. Decided i wanted the car, sat down to sign and there were no surprise fees (most dealership try to throw something in there), their doc prep fees were very low in comparison to other dealers, and it took me about 5 minutes to sign. Very easy process from beginning to end, no stress at all, got a fair deal and i was very happy with everything and would recommend them to other buyers.

2005 Legacy Gt was in the service department for 15 days without being fixed. Had taken the vehicle in previously and paid for 2 new plugs and a diagnosis of an engine missing problem. Scheduled the time to bring the vehicle back in, as they would need it for a week. At the end of the first week I called to get an update and was told they would be contacting my extended warranty provider in the morning, and start the repairs as soon as they got the approval. My wife called back three days later and was told they didn't know what was wrong with the vehicle and did she have any ideas as to what it could be. I called again on day 15 and was told they would be bringing the vehicle back inside to work on it that afternoon but they still had no idea what was wrong with it. I told them not to bother, I would be there to pick the vehicle up. I called Kings Subaru and made an appointment for the following morning. Dropped the vehicle off when they opened, received a phone call 3 hours later that they had possibly found the problem and would know for certain in the morning. Received a call the next morning informing me the vehicle had a cracked piston ring and would take a few days to fix. They are rebuilding the entire engine and replacing the clutch and will have the vehicle back to me in 10 days. This includes the two days lost while waiting for warranty company to send an adjuster out. All Busam had to do was keep me informed and be up front with me. If they couldn't fix the vehicle because they don't have the Master Techs that Kings has, then they should have told me this. So, if your looking for maintenance on your Subaru vehicle, have a spare vehicle to drive, don't mind making payments on a vehicle sitting on a lot with nothing being done to it, go ahead and take it to Busam. However, if your like most people and do not have a spare vehicle and want yours fixed right away, go somewhere else.

Last week I decided to replace my 2008 Toyota FJ Cruiser with a new car. I was interested in a small SUV, preferably AWD / 4WD. After some research on the web, I nailed down my choices to three possible options: Subaru Forester, Subaru Crosstrek and Toyota RAV4. I paid them a visit, made a quick test drive and asked them for a quote. They offered me a 2014 Forester $500 below MSRP and a pitiful amount for my trade-in, full $3000 below trade-in value accordingly to KBB, NADA and Edmunds for my FJ Cruiser. I made them a fair counter-offer, based on the real value of my trade-in, and a reasonable market price for Forester. I left them with my counter-offer and left expecting them to contact me. I heard absolutely nothing from them since. No phone call, no email. It appears that Busam Subaru is not interested in selling cars. I ended up buying the RAV4, paying $1500 less then Busam's "deal", for a car worth $2000 more than the Forester they offered me. It is my second bad experience with this dealer. Three years ago we were looking for a car for my wife. We were interested in an Outback, and again, Busam's quote was pitiful, with an offer for our trade-in well below real market value. Zero follow-up or interest in reaching a deal. Bottom line, Busam's sales customer service is terrible. They behave as if they were doing the customer a favor by selling one of their cars.

As long time Honda CRV and Accord owners, we thought it would only be fair to look at other AWD cars. We went to this dealer and met Brandyn Butler, who quickly showed his excellent people skills. He is not a stuffed shirt, meaning he relates well to others and gave us plenty of time to learn about the Subaru line-up and test drive the cars without pressure. When my wife found her favorite, Brandyn did what anyone in the car business would do, find how Subaru could fit into our budget with my trade-in. He knows the product very well and it is nice to buy from a smaller dealer that makes you feel like a customer rather than a number like the big dealers seem to do. We took delivery on a XV Crosstrek on Friday and it rides and looks great. We feel the effort to open our minds to other vehicles than Honda gave us a surprisingly excellent experience. Now we find many others that are long-term Subaru owners and we hope we will be with them many years from now.

Ended up buying a non-Subaru (VW) from these guys. Real nice group. Easy and fun to work with...didn't feel pressured to buy. Didn't realize it at the time but my sister also bought from them and had a similar positive experience. Will be looking to purchase from them again in the future.

Went to this dealership yesterday. Spent a considerable amount of time there. Looking at a used vehicle. Talked quite a bit with the salesman, told me what they had in the vehicle. Long story short, the next day his sales manager tries to actually raise the price of the vehicle from what they offered me the day before, and not being honest about what they actually had money-wise in to the car. They were dishonest in their dealings and were quick to write me off. It's a shame since I had the money as was willing to take THEIR offer. Well, that is until they decided to raise THEIR offer. Aren't offers usually suppose to work in favor for the customer? Shady, and I'll pass the word along to everyone I can

The most annoying thing about this dealer ship is if you go up there with a check engine light on its $90. I can understand a fee for running a diagnostic. That's 20 mins your tech is tied up and could be doing real work. I even took it to auto zone and had them run it for FREE and told this dealer what code it was and what I wanted fixed. Charging me $90 when I agree to have over $500 in service done to my vehicle is just insulting. I didn't go up there to waste there time or get a cheep oil change and say, hey and can you look at this. I went in with actual business. They are very friendly until you start asking questions or have any other information to offer them. I would avoid them unless I need something specific from the dealer. To top it off the car still isn't running great and they had no suggestions as to what I could have done for it to be running better.

We took our 05 Forester in for a substantial transmission repair and when we got it back it was fixed! Imagine that! On the first try! WooHoo! The service managers/writers are both good guys and apparently, they have at least one good mechanic. They are friendly and treat you like you actually know what you are talking about. They take the customer's side when dealing with Subaru on warranty issues (when justified).
