We entered the dealership in kind of a crisis mode. Our sales person, James, couldn't have been more patient, more informative, or more kind. We went in on a very strict budget and he worked very hard to find a suitable vehicle within our price range. James spent the entire afternoon with us and even though we weren't buying a brand new car he treated us as if we were buying the most expensive vehicle on the lot. I know who we will be going to in the future for all our automotive needs. Having five drivers in our home I know what dealership and who I want assisting my family in the future...and we even got a fantastic gift basket to boot! James thank you...you went above and beyond!

My wife and I drove from South Carolina to W. Lafayette to visit our son and daughter-in-law for a long weekend. They were both at work last Friday so we were just driving around and touring the area. I pulled in to look at a Tundra and little did I know, but in a few hours, I would be driving a new Tundra! We were greeted and treated like family. Karri Davie, Carlos, Avery and Jay made the entire purchase experience wonderful! Thanks to all of you for all that you did! My interaction was with my salesman James, not so much with the rest of the dealership. James is the consummate salesman. He understands that selling is not convincing me to buy a car, but rather to provide me with the information I need to make a decision. It was clear that the sales manager had his eye on James during the process, but this is totally unnecessary. Not only does James know what he is doing, but he also does it better than I have seen in a long time. I was not intending to buy a car that day, but James made it easy and relevant. James is one of the top 5 salesmen I have encountered in any industry, ever.

We stopped in to have a back-up plan for the car we were heading to another dealership to buy. We were given a great deal that bumped the back-up plan to a vehicle we drove home that evening. Bob Rohrman Toyota understands a vehicle purchase is more than just buying a car. They helped put us in the right vehicle that checked off our list while staying in our price zone. We didn't feel pressured at all during the process which is a huge bonus when buying a vehicle!

We drove 2 1/2 hours to Bob Rohrman Toyota to purchase a used Sienna listed from them, We agreed upon terms of the purchase prior to our arrival and placed a deposit down on the van. Upon arrival and inspection we noted the Sienna's features stated in their internet advertisement were not 100% accurate; the van was missing the stated entertainment system. We brought this to Anthony, Luke and Trey's attention and they went above and beyond our expectations to make sure they could rectify the error to meet our expectations. They truly appeared concerned about the error and wanted us to feel like we were getting the vehicle and features promised to us. I would purchase another vehicle from Bob Rohrman Toyota in the future.

We just purchased our second Toyota from Bob Rohrman Toyota Scion and this was as good as, if not better than, our first experience 12 years ago (a 2004 Camry LE we are still driving with 150,000 trouble free miles). For a variety of reasons we needed a new car (actually a second car). My wife did not like what we test drove so we moved up to an Avalon. It was Trey's suggestion. And it worked like a charm. My wife loves the car and the experience couldn't have been smoother. We are very used to excellent service from Bob Taylor, Jenny Scott, and Jim Adams, and that certainly influenced our decision. Also knowing we were purchasing a known quality product from an outstanding dealership that has been good to us for 12 years made the decision quite easy. Why would we even think of going elsewhere when we feel like family? Larry Rainford, who I did not know, is a gem. Suddenly we were in a very technologically advanced car that we didn't even know how to start and Larry was so patient and helpful. We still have a lot to learn but we know Larry will be there for us, as will Trey, Bob, Jenny, and Jim in the future. I've been around for a while and owned many cars. This is a good place to purchase a car.

After doing careful research, we arrived at the dealership with a vehicle in mind. The salesman professionally and courteously facilitated our inspection of the new car, a Highlander, and then a test drive. We then entered the clean, cool showroom to further discuss the possibility of purchase. The salesman was patient and respectful as we hammered out specifics. We felt welcome by the other staff members that we met as well. The only disappointing thing was the interest rate we received on the vehicle. We would have preferred 0% like some other car manufacturers are offering. We appreciated the tour of the showroom's many areas, especially the service area, that our salesman gave us as we waited for our vehicle to be shined up. We happily drove away from the dealership with a great new car.

Did I need the fanciest SUV on the lot? No, no I didn't. Did I buy it? Yes I did. The staff actively worked with me to be certain I was driving a safe and extremely dependable truck for my daughters and I. A single mother spends a lot of time making decisions based on the well being of her children. They were patient, caring and willing to spend time explaining every detail. I ask lots of questions!! Mr. James Hardman greeted us as we came through the door and remained present and attentive throughout the sale, even though he was actively working with other customers. While he was running between customers, taking care of details, it didn't appear that other employees were stepping up to support or expedite the process. We were at the dealership for six hours from stepping on the lot to driving away satisfied with a Toyota certified used car. During that time our experience varied depending on who on the team we encountered. Mr. Hardman continued to move the process forward, provided clear communication at each step, offered hospitality and regularly checked on our comfort. "Steve" abruptly interrupted at one point and rudely demanded information from Mr. Hardman. Jay, in the finance department, was clear and straightforward and then made an insulting remark when we declined the additional warranty coverage. Our experience was very mixed, from feeling insulted by the finance person (1 star), to receiving a professional and caring experience by Mr. Hardman (5 star). Bob Rohrman Toyota needs to strengthen their teamwork.

We had been looking for an Odyssey or Sienna for about a month. We visited a local dealer for a cash offer on our trade and they recommended Josh at Bob Rohrman Toyota in Lafayette. He contacted me with a Sienna that just came in off of trade, sent over the car fax, and sent pictures within a short amount of time. He let me know of the service work it would need and prepared us for the visit to purchase. He was very receptive to the many questions I had about the vehicle sight unseen. During the visit we were paired with Ronda as our sales associate. She was very accommodating during out time at the dealership and made the process very easy. We appreciated the ease of business, communication from start to finish, and the dependability of the content regarding the vehicle. I would definitely recommend this dealer to anyone for a used vehicle...and I imagine the new sales team is more of the same.

I didn't walk into Toyota expecting to walk out a few days later with my new 2016 Toyota Camry, but I did. James Hardman and the rest of the team at Bob Rohrman Toyota made my experience excellent. James let me take a car for a spin while my older Toyota was getting looked at. He also let me keep one over night so I could show my husband and let him test drive it because my husband works nights. He answered questions that I had in a timely fashion and even contacted me afterhours, on my time, with answers to questions. James showed me all the options in the Camry as well, and was willing to find me the exact car I wanted since it wasn't on their lot. The team was also very helpful since I was on my own with my daughter. The play room was an excellent help while I was signing papers. James didn't push me into anything I didn't want. I also appreciated his thank you gift and also the thank you card I got in the mail a week later! I'm so happy with my new car, and I invite anyone looking for a new vehicle to get in contact with James Hardman!

The difference in our buying experience was James Hardman. We have been searching for a car for about a month. We've talked to several dealerships, some with good service, some with poor. With James, we had excellent service from the time my son and I first walked the Toyota lot. He listened to my wife and I from the start. We had a great experience. He answered questions, laid out options, made suggestions, and let us make our best decision. James even contacted me several times on his day off to keep the deal moving. I went in not really sure what I wanted to buy/ lease ...new or used and Larry was very informative and willing to help and work with me. I met him out in the back used lot in 900 heat and he braved that heat to help me. I was leaning toward the rav4 or a highlander but wanted to know about Honda and KIA options and that didn't discurage Larry in any way. He called the other branches and even took me over to test drive my amazing Honda pilot that I in the end leased from them. I was out looking at cars as early as 830 am and by the time I left Larry they were locking the doors at the Honda dealership. That didn't make any difference to Larry he stuck with me and we even met the next morning to finish up the deal. If you need any car I encourage you to stop at Toyota first and look up Larry you won't be disappointed.

Dalton Miller (sales rep) helped my wife and I purchase an SUV this past weekend. I called to check availability and Dalton physically verified the vehicle was available and then made sure it was ready to go when we arrived. We traveled about 2 hours with our young boys and the playground in the dealership was a life-saver. During the process, Dalton was patient, well informed and all around very nice to work with. Additionally, Trey Rohrman was part of our process and he was great as well. They respected our 'hurried timeline' as the boys were hungry and tired. Overall, great experience. I wasn't originally intending to buy, but James and the staff at Rohrman went out of their way to answer any and all questions I had about purchasing a new car. After some deliberation, I decided on a Scion iM. I recently purchased a used car from the dealership. Unfortunately, there was a few hiccups on the sales team end when it came to the final paperwork however, they took 100% of the responsibility of what went wrong and they were able to provide me with an adequate solution. It was a great environment to purchase a vehicle in and I did not feel that I was being hassled when it came to negotiating price. Overall a positive experience!

I had an excellent car buying experience. I had a bad experience with another dealership and I was quite apprehensive about car shopping. This experience was completely different. This was our first experience with Bob Rohrman Toyota but not our experience with Bob Rohrman. Several years ago we purchased a Honda from Bob Rohrman and had a great experience when we purchased our vehicle as well as a great experience every time we back for routine maintenance. We continue to use Bob Rohrman because of the quality service we receive. Our sales associate, Kyle Corcoran was so personable and made every effort to answer our questions and help us in any way he could. He was WONDERFUL! While they prepared our paperwork, they sent us next door for dinner that they purchased for us. Another special touch they didn't have to do but did. Bob Rohrman's amazing customer service will continue to bring us back to Lafayette from Kokomo for our vehicle maintenance and purchases. We highly recommend Bob Rohrman!.

My experience was great. I always dread buying a new car as it is at least a day long process some of it spent sitting and waiting. I completed the process on line of finding out what the value of my car was on a Friday night. By Saturday morning early I received a phone call asking what vehicle I was interested in. Next came a text saying they had one on the lot. We continued to text and set up an appointment for noon. By 2:30 I left for my granddaughters soccer game which was close by and by 4:30 we were back at the dealership signing the papers and left for home by 5:45. It was the fastes I have ever bought a car , the salesman was great and I am happy with my purchase.

I completed numerous hours of research on my next new car purchase. I used many sites, scoured info on many brands and read many reviews. After finally deciding on a short list of makes and models, I embarked on my journey to conduct my test drives. After arriving at the dealership I was kindly greeted by my eventual sales person, Dalton Miller, who simply asked, "Is there anything I can help you with today." No cheesy one-liner on how great the cars were that I was standing next to. No eye-rolling puns or statements about how today would be a great day to buy a car. It was a relief to have such a simple question asked when I was dreading to hear anything but come from someone's mouth. We spoke briefly and then conducted a test drive. We even went to another Rohrman dealership to drive another make/model and eventually returned to the dealership. Our conversation was engaging and felt like talking to a friend rather than a sales person. Dalton was well informed about my vehicle, verified information I knew to be true on many of my questions, and was funnybut not too funny, which was great. I presented him with my time frame of taking delivery and my particular taste in options and color. After a short break to check inventory, he replied, We can have that here by Tuesday (3 days later). And since he held up his end of bargain, I held up mine.I took delivery of my new 2016 Toyota Camry Hybrid SE on the following Tuesday and couldn't have been happier with my decision. If you're looking for a youthful professional with high energy who is informed and deals in a no-non-sense manner, I highly recommend Dalton Miller. This is the fourth used car I have purchased from the Rohrman dealerships in Lafayette. In the past, I have had one "OK" experience, one absolutely horrible experience, and two exceptional experiences. The horrible experience made me swear I would never buy another car from them. However, I just went in to test drive a car that I intended to buy from any other dealer and was treated so well that I purchased the car from them. Trey, the GM, also contacted me to be sure I was happy with my purchase. Our sales person was knowledgeable and friendly. We hadn't purchased a car in several years which made us uncomfortable with the process. Rhonda seemed genuinely concerned with our concerns. The experience was positive in every aspect and we left feeling we could contact her with any questions or concerns. We had a sensor problem, which they addressed in a quick and friendly manner. Josh, of the management team, was helpful and both he and Rhonda left us with a positive impression of the dealership.

I am from Illinois and was driving to Ohio when my Toyota Sienna broke down on I-65. I had it towed to Bob Rohrman but unfortunately, the car could not be repaired. I dealt with Rich Gagnon, a service representative, and he kept me updated on the condition of the car before making a decision to buy a new car. He was extremely helpful and showed me in person the problem I had with the Sienna. He even gave me several options as to what I can do. After deciding to buy a new car, Eugene Long, a sales associate, then took me through the purchasing process. He showed us what was available and did not put any pressure on us. The entire staff knew of our situation and was extremely helpful. If I lived close to Lafayette, I would be purchasing another Toyota from Bob Rohrman.

I went with my girl friend to have her oil changed on her vehicle. When we arrived the gentleman who helped us in-service checked us in and never told us what to do after we had checked in. We wandered over through the dealership found a very nice sitting area. It did have some popcorn and drinks that were available. Not long after this the annoying part of our expirence began. We realized that one gentleman continued to Page over the loudspeaker more than anyone else. At one point my girl and I counted 10 pages in less than a minute. We assume he must be hard of hearing because he seemed to enjoy yelling into the page system so everyone in Lafayette could hear him, they were so loud and obnoxious. What got really bad is when we heard who we believe to be the same individual singing. We thought he was literally on the loud speaker because he was So LOUD. It was so ridiculously loud we began to pick his voice out from all the others it kinda became a game as we waited 1.5 hours for an oil change on my girls Camry. People don't enjoy having to wait that long let alone listen to someone wanting hear themselves screaming over the loud speaker for 1.5 hours. Felt like a baby screaming on airplane you can't get away (I tried paging system plays outside even louder) Grow up and keep your singing for karaoke night at the bars

Larry listened to what I wanted and found the exact car that checked off all of my boxes (which wasn't that easy)! He truly went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable with my purchase. I felt no pressure and knew I was making the best decision. Larry even let me compare the Toyota I was interested in with a Honda, side by side in the car lot. It doesn't get much better than that! I found myself car shopping after 20 years, when my 1996 Saturn SC2 engine cylinder went out. Along with other car issues, it just wasn't worth keeping it going anymore. As much as I love Saturn, they aren't around anymore. After doing some homework online and with friends and family, I decided on purchasing my first Toyota. I had it narrowed down to 3 new 2015 models - Corolla, Prius and Prius C. Upon arriving at the new Toyota facility, I was struck by how "Saturn" like it felt to me. Everything from the service waiting area, snacks and most importantly the non-pressure sales approach. Ronda Long-Allen greeted me upon arrival and over the course of a few weeks provided me with a professional and very personable, excellent no pressure car shopping experience. I test drove all 3 and had a ton of questions, especially about the Prius and Prius C. I even drove those 2 again at night, trying to make up my mind. She was a real pro, and was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. If she didn't know the answer, she would go out of her way to find it for me, before I left. I'm so very lucky that I had her as my sales representative, as she truly went above and beyond in my first Toyota shopping experience. I Highly Recommended her !!! I decided on the Prius C Model Two and I am loving the car. It has been extremely helpful with excellent gas mileage on many unexpected trips recently. The ride and other features of the car have been excellent as well. As for other sales team employees that I had dealings with - Avery Burrows was friendly, professional and very helpful in explaining some financial matters. Jay Cochran the Financial Manager was very nice, extremely helpful and patient explaining all the financial options and paperwork. I don't think I could have ask for a better team of individuals to make my first Toyota shopping experience truly Excellent !!!

We drove 2.5 hours and they knew days in advance we were coming. They never told us the vehicle we were coming to see was used as a rental vehicle, we never would have made the trip with a 9 month old! The van was so dirty, had trash inside, scratches all over it and a ripped seat. This was a 2015 Sienna, not acceptable. They were to find us a new vehicle and inform us of the specs and send pictures. We finally got these when I asked where things stood and the picture was a snow covered van! A local dealer contacted us, Allan Nott, and matched their price for a year newer. I called to inform Bob Rohrman we no longer were interested in doing business. Avery told me they just got the van in yesterday and that's why we weren't told anything. That was a flat out lie as I had contacted them the day prior and was told they already had it. Ronda actually hung up on me while I was explaining we did not want to do business. So unprofessional and rude.

It was time to enter a new era ... Say goodbye to my 2003 RAV4 and move into a new, 2016 model. We were able to quickly arrive to an agreement; one that met my needs. The new RAV4 ... I am happily into the technical advancements (e.g. Bluetooth). I never felt that I was being forced into a car or a decision. The experience was very positive. I am looking forward to my new ride!

After a few emails & calls to James Hardman about a new 2016 Tacoma, I visited Bob Rohrman Toyota (pleasant atmosphere & friendly faces). Avery Burrows, New Car Manager, asked what he could do to earn my business. I gave him a number I was comfortable with for buying a new Tacoma with a trade-in. He was able to reach that number. Throughout our experience with Bob Rohrman Toyota Scion, we always felt like we had great customer service. We always felt comfortable and didn't feel pressured to buy or pushed to higher priced vehicles that may be out of our comfort zone. We worked primarily with Ronda Long-Allen (highly recommend) and always felt that she was honest, upfront, helpful, and on our side. We settled on a 2010 Prius and came in well prepared to negotiate and were able to get a price that was even better than anticipated. So, we felt the negotiation process was very fair. We had some minor issues with the vehicle right out of the gate. When we attempted to test drive the vehicles, it needed to be jump started. We were assured that this was just a function of it sitting on the lot for a while and wasn't an unusual occurrence. The battery started alright the next time, so they assured us it was alright. We made sure during negotiations to require that they inspect the battery to make sure it was alright before we took it. Again, we were assured everything was fine and went on our way. On our way home, we realized that the passenger-side headlight was out. We were more disappointed by our inspection of the vehicle prior to purchase than the dealer, but it didn't give us much confidence in the quality of their initial inspection (could have gone out right after our test drive though who knows). Anyway, I replaced that without qualm since I thought I should learn how to do it on this vehicle anyway. Within a couple days of driving the car home, the 12V battery died. This was frustrating, but Ronda took care of us and paid for the price of a brand new battery. Although these issues were inconvenient, Ronda always made sure that we were taken care of and none of them became the major headache that they could have been.Overall, we were happy with our experience at Bob Rohrman and especially with Ronda. Next time we are looking to purchase a vehicle we will come to Ronda first. I would recommend anyone looking for a car to go talk to Ronda.

We love our Toyota vehicles, but based on the lack of service we have received, we will likely not purchase again since our only dealership option is this one. I took a Sienna in for routine maintenance on a Monday -- as I went in I asked them to look at a window where the seal pops out when the window is rolled down. Two hours later I was still waiting. Went in to the service area to ask for an update, told they were working on it. 1.5 hours later I was told they'd taken the window apart to find the problem was exactly what I described. 3.5 hours after I entered I walked out. Called back on a Friday (3.5 days later) to have them order the part. No record I had been there 3.5 days earlier. Monday we had to call them to see if the part had arrived and schedule service. The first employee couldn't help us. Then my husband went in today for the scheduled part install. 1.5 hours later they told him they'd ordered the wrong part. Utter incompetence. Ridiculous!

We went to shop for a new Rav 4 on a Saturday evening and because they weren't able to finish our sale, Toyota had our salesman deliver our new car to our home that is at least 45 minutes away. We finished the paperwork out of our home and our salesman, James Hardman, took the time out to show us how the Navigation unit worked. Great customer service.

My wife and I stopped by your dealership two weeks before our purchase and we were impressed with the salesperson, Rhonda Long-Allen. She took the time to speak us and our future son in law about Toyota and their incentives, she explained the different models to us and and tried to get a sense of what our needs were. We were looking for something to replace my vehicle and I chose a RAV4, which by the way every time I get in it I love it even more! I would give the dealership a 10/10 scale for their help, pleasantness, professionalism, and sheer number of vehicles from which to choose from. I have purchased and leased many vehicles in my life and this experience will have to rate up at the top.I did not think I would be able to work out a deal because I have 24 months remaining on my present lease and thought it would be too early. Bob Rohrman matched the price I was willing to offer within a short time. I also had the opportunity to meet a number of managers and the owners son while there and all of them were very polite and professional and greeted me by name. We have had our Prius now for two weeks. We did a 1200 miles around trip to Virginia last week. The car handled great in the mountains and we got good gas mileage. The car was comfort riding and I did not get tired. It was great not having to stop very often for gas. Will be taking it on more trips. I want to highly recommend our sales person James Hardman. I walked in the door at 6pm and they worked with me until 10:30, which is 1.5 hours after closing time, and not once did I notice a glance at a watch, nor was there any mention of how late it was getting. Although some dealers think that it's just about selling cars, it is clear that customer relations is the primary focus of the sales team at Bob Rohrman Toyota Scion. If you're at all considering a vehicle from them, I have to say that you won't regret stopping in to check it out.

We purchased our 2015 Rav4 Limited from Bob Rohrman Toyota with the assistance of Larry Rainford in October 2014. It was a great experience and we love this vehicle. In January we left Indiana to drive to the Port Charlotte FL for 2 months. In mid February my husband fell while on a fishing trip and broke his ankle (trimaleolar fracture.) I rushed him to the ER, left him at the door and drove the car to the parking lot. In my worry and distress, I could not lock the car; it wouldn't let me. I finally I took the key out the fob and locked the car manually. When things had settled down in the ER, my husband told me to call Larry at the dealership. Luckily for me, he was in his office and between customers. Larry calmed me down and told me the reasons the car wouldn't lock. As I approached the car again, I saw that I hadn't put it in park so that was why it kept beeping when I tried to lock it. I fixed the problem thanks to Larry. He sure saved our bacon. This dealership and especially this salesman will have our repeat business.

I had gone previously to 3 other dealerships before I came to Bob Rohrman and I wish I went to them 1st! There was a no pressure atmosphere, they did all the paperwork in front of you so you can see the interest rate, value, and other pertinent information. This was my first time buying and Chuck really did a great job at staying in my budget and going above and beyond to get me the car of my dreams! Excellent service and friendly staff! I highly recommend to anybody.

I originally came in with nerves getting ready to trade in my Hyundai because my lease term was up. I knew I had heard great things about Totota and wanted to give them shot. From the moment I walked in the doors I knew I made the right decision. Phenomenal staff, welcoming, no pressure atmosphere and a friendly handshake and smile from the dealer namesake all proved to be pleasant experience for my wife and I. After enjoying a cup of coffee and a cookie we test drove a few models ( Camry and RAV4.) We gave Trey our budget and he provided multiple options that made sense for us. We were able to think about it and make a decision that we felt great about and didn't feel pressure either way from the staff. We be had the Rav for almost 6 months no and it has been incredible. The service has been great and the car has been even better. I think it's safe to say that thanks to Rohrman Toyota my wife and I are now part of the Toyota family and will be back for years to come! Zach the finance guy made it so easy and such a pleasant experience. They were very willing to work with us. This was my first time to ever trade a vehicle I always sold my own. Coming into the dealership I was a little scared even though I had no reason really to be. I guess it was just the things I have heard in stories. Completely untrue, at least for me. As soon as I arrived for my appointment I was greeted with open arms. All of the employees were easy to talk to and were very enjoyable. They made it easy to know I was making the right decision. The sales guy and finance manager both answered all of my questions and have kept an open line of communication with me even after my purchase. They told me when I leased my new Camry that I was now part of the Toyota Family and I guess they really mean it because I will be back in 2 years for sure... No Doubt... no other option for me and my family.

Rohrman Toyota did what my local dealer in Mansfield, Ohio could not do. They got me exactly what I wanted, fast and no hassle.. Trey Rohnman went beyond normal sales. He kept me up to date on my tundra. Even after hours and on his vacation. We definitely drive the 4 hours again to deal with Trey. Very impressed with his work ethnic. The dealership staff was knowledgable and gave me the information I needed to make an informed decision that fit my budget. I worked with multiple people the one that stuck out to me was Trey Rohrman and a Brad never said his last name. While I was waiting for my incompetent salesman I watched the manager brad scream and jump around like a child. I was ok with that it's when a bunch of salesmen were gathered around and Brad and Trey Rohrman started there antics again this time it was louder and more vulgar! I called in about a used car and when I got there the price went up Trey Rohrman then came over to talk to me and told me he was not going to lose money ( which I'm not concerned about) I showed him the advertised price and he said it was a mistake??? Well I have read a bunch of reviews this dealership is known for bait and switch, he informed me that everyone makes mistakes which I'm fine with what I'm not fine with is the actions of management and employees they seemed like this happens a lot. So I did buy the car 1 day later not even 24 hours every light turned on! I went back to the dealership was told they won't fix it I signed a as is statement (tricks it seems that this dealership lives by) I did buy a warranty so I went somewhere else to get it fixed. With the headache and hassle I would tell anybody to stay away from this experience stay away from Bob Rohrman Toyota in Lafayette Indiana.

James Hardman in Sales is very helpful, and I would give him a 5 and recommend him to everyone. However, within a few days after purchasing a Certified used vehicle, various issues started becoming apparent. The car was brought in multiple times to have these initial issues addressed or reevaluated, and this continued over a 3 month period which took a great amount of time out of my schedule, Eventually, the car lost part of its headlights, and then the brakes and accelerator were acting strangely (one of these issues had previously been reported to the dealer). Then, after 3 months, the car simply died, and I had it towed to the service department. A policeman who was nearby called for my tow, which I should not have done because it was not pre-authorized by Toyota (my car was in an intersection and needed removal) and, therefore, I was informed that I can not recover the tow cost from Toyota. I was given a rental car, which was appreciated, but the rental had expired license plate tags which added to my increasing anxiety every time I drove it (even though I was informed by Service to have the policeman call Rohrman should I get stopped). The updates I had received from the service department repeatedly stated that they couldn't figure out the issues and added that the computer was not registering identifiable problems. It seemed that the entire car was falling apart. I realize that brand new cars of all makes and models can have issues, and I mention the above history in my decision to trade the car back to Rohrman for a different vehicle. By this time, my getting out of that car had already been mentioned by my salesman to the service department (per the service department). One Rohrman employee referred to my certified car as a likely lemon, and I had already reached the conclusion that I never wanted to be in that car again no matter how many experts looked at it. However, I was not overly impressed with the trade in value. One thousand miles were added in the 3 months I owned it, and the car was repeatedly in the shop. In essence, the amount of depreciation charged me over those 3 months was excessive in light of the time I spent trying to fix so many things with it (multiple employees noticed I had been there frequently). The trade in $ is my only issue. But I accepted the offer due to having lost all faith in the previous car, and I wanted to support the local community and purchase a vehicle made at SIA.

My relationship with Bob Rohrman Toyota began prior to retiring in Lafayette (my home town) from Washington, DC. I initially called the dealership from Virginia and spoke with a knowledgeable and amenable salesperson to advise I was thinking of purchasing a RAV-4 Limited upon my return. I ended up getting it from Alexandria Toyota due to my own impatience. The Lafayette salesperson called me at a later agreed-upon date to see if I was still interested. Instead of indignation, he was kind, and stated to please look him up when I returned to town. He said also to please keep Bob Rohrman in mind for servicing my car and any future needs. This initial professional courtesy impressed me. I just traded in my two-year-old car with Bob Rhorman and my overall experience was very pleasant; it is a pleasure doing business with your company's professional staff. A service person convinced me re: making last week's trade and he introduced me to Brent, a brand new salesman who assisted me in the deal. Although Brent was still learning, he exhibited every quality for becoming a great salesman. He was congenial, helpful, and most of all - 'patient'. These are imperative qualities, especially when dealing with a woman with an attention deficit regarding the deal-making process and technicalities re: cars in general.On a similar note, I recall that a service person from the Bob Rohrman dealership on US 52 helped me when I was assigned to Rome, Italy 8 years ago. Not only did he make arrangements to get me a tire for my Toyota Solara convertible - he actually personally took the tire to the Post Office on South Street to ensure I got it in Rome within days of my request. He said he was glad to help and that it was no problem. I don't recall his name now, but when on home leave several months later, I paid him a visit to thank him and to bring him a little gift. I bought a used pickup on 10/31/2014. The salesman Corey Arrington said he had personally driven the truck and it looked and rode fine. He said the only problem he could see besides the minor dents and rust was a "cracked Grille".It was delivered to me here in Northern Wisconsin at 11:30PM on 11/11/2014 during a snowstorm. The delivery guy could only get within a mile of my house because of the snow storm. After we rolled it off the trailer because it wouldn't start I had to go back home and get jumper cables to jump start it.On the way home it was found that the speedometer didn't work, the heater and heater blower didn't work, the turn signals didn't work properly, and the check engine and red air bag lights were on.The next morning in the light the "cracked grille" turned out to have been broken off and held on by plastic ties and two bolts. There was also crumpled up metal around the headlight. There was also a gob of wires hanging down by the back bumper with some having bare ends.Car Fax stated that Rohrman had changed the oil on 8/14/2014 the mileage stated then is exactly what is on the odometer as it sits in my yard today. The oil is very dark and degraded either it hadn't been changed or it was driven and the mileage not recorded because the speedometer wasn't working.I talked to the previous owner and she said the speedometer didn't work when they traded it in and that the damage in front was from hitting a deer.The sales manager told me when they get a used vehicle in it goes into the shop for an evaluation. All the problems are ticketed and when the tickets are satisfied it then goes on the lot. This clearly wasn't done with this vehicle.I was told I should have hired somebody to inspect the vehicle before I bought it. They had the truck priced in the "excellent condition" range and knew that any inspection would have led to no sale at that price.They say since I bought "as is" that exempts them. That is not true as there is an implied warranty of merchantability. They are also obligated under Indiana law to disclose what is obvious and I quote the court case:When a buyer makes inquiries about the condition, qualities or characteristics of the property, it becomes incumbent upon the seller to fully declare any and all problems associated with the subject of the inquiry." I have filed claims with the FBI and the FTC for interstate wire fraud.This was a Chevrolet but I am going to have to select Toyota to get this posted.

We traded in our car and purchased a new one. We got a fair trade-in price for the old vehicle and a fair deal on the new model. Vaughan Campbell and Chantelle Falardeau were helpful, courteous, and responsive. Be careful when meeting with the finance people at the very end of the process. While signing a lot of paperwork, they slip in items you don't really need (like auto insurance) and can actually decline. They make the extras seem like part of the final process, when actually they're add-ons. (This had happened to us repeatedly at this dealership.) It's important to question everything at the end of the process and to be on your toes!

Vaughn Campbell, Trey Rohrman and Steve Gentry, in sales, as well as Bob Taylor and Jenny Scott have always gone the extra mile to make our experience enjoyable. .Annette Mattox and Tony Camisa always take a minute to help in any way they can and add greatly to the sales and service staff. With this team in place I can't imagine purchasing a car from any other dealership.

I needed a new commuter car for ergonomic reasons, and I became interested in the Prius. However, it was difficult to understand the differences between the different models and which models had the features I was interested in. Enter David Ford, Sales/Leasing Professional Extraordinaire! David was immensely helpful in understanding the differences between the Prius models, explaining which features were standard and which could be added on for extra. He also helped me do an ergonomic assessment of the newer model Prius to be sure it would be a good fit for me. After we discovered it was, he identified a used model that had literally every feature I was interested in, and met my other requirements for buying a used car (mileage, color, etc).David helped me to set up an extensive test drive, answering my questions about the car and demonstrating features I didn't even know about. When I had settled on the car, he was very patient and knowledgeable about explaining payment options, which was a relief! When we were trading in an older car and the dealership was offering much less than we anticipated, David helped negotiate the price upward so that we could drive away with the new car that same day. He made the process as painless as possible, and was very pleasant to work with! And the other staff of Bob Rohrman Toyota were great too! Whenever I needed to find David, other salespeople or receptionists were very quick to help and friendly. When everything was negotiated, Jay Cochran, Business Manager, was very helpful in explaining different warranty options, liability clauses, and general car-buying paperwork. He gave honest feedback about warranties, and was willing to negotiate on the price to suit our needs. Finally, after I bought the car and drove it for a week, when I had a minor feature I needed changed, David Ford was quick to schedule me in the service center, and I waited for only half an hour to be taken care of. Overall it was a very positive experience with Bob Rohrman Toyota. Hopefully I won't need to buy another car soon, but if I do, I'll be back.

I searched for almost two months and visited over a dozen dealerships all over the state, before I talked to Chuck at Bob Rohrman. My only regret is that I didnt visit Chuck at Bob Rohrman sooner. Most of the dealerships I visited either didn't take me seriously or their salesmen were extremely awkward and the opposite of what you'd expect a car salesman to be. I was told by multiple dealerships that no one would beat their price, Chuck not only beat their price but made me feel welcome and comfortable with the entire process. I would recommend Chuck and Bob Rohrman to anyone looking for a new vehicle. Thanks again.

Purchased a used 2009 Camry Hybrid with 51,000 miles on April 9th in 40 degree weather. On April 11th found out the AC didn't work when temps got to the 70's. Sales person Brian Shively told me he would check into what the dealership was willing to do. No responses from him, so I drove 90 minutes back to the dealership on April 18th to have their service department check what was wrong. They couldn't get me in until the following week. Drove back April 23rd to be told there was a cracked condenser and other issues totaling $1350 in repair costs. Was shown 3 Month/3000 mile paperwork only covers drive train and few components. I questioned how they could miss AC not working, I was told, "we don't do as thorough an inspection on 3 month/3000 mile warranty AS IS vehicles because we might find too many things wrong." Salesperson said it worked the night of your test drive. He is right, the light came on and it "appeared" to be working in the 40 degree weather. No negotiation on repair cost. Very disappointing transaction at a dealership who could have chosen to do the right thing. Service Manager Mitch S tried to help. He was told NO to any adjustment to the repair estimate. It seems the management at this location is more worried about today's profit then loyal repeat customers. BEWARE - you aren't a customer at Rohrman - you are $$$$$.

I would like to preface this by saying.... It was only my second vehicle purchase I have made so I should have informed myself a little more diligently. I recently wrecked my Honda. I was looking for something I could pay for that day. The cheap crappy Dodge Neon I was interested in was on the used car website but was not at that the B.R. Toyota location and did not even run. This frustrated me quite a bit because I called several times throughout the day to see what location different cars were at and where I could go to test drive them. I was told the Neon would be at the Toyota location on 26. Initially I was only contacting Bob Rohrman Toyota to test drive that neon so I could compare it with a previous test drive. But then Mike and I started talking.....It was like a bait and switch situation. If the car didn't run why couldn't you have mentioned that to me that over the phone! Oh but of course you want me to come to the facility. The car I ended up purchasing "had just been traded in". 'Oh I don't have that car but check this one that is double you budget out'. Of course I fell in love with the better quality car and thought I could make it work with financing. He SOLD me. I'm fairly impressionable so I take a little responsibility for not taking a second to analyze the situation. My advice would be NOT to finance through Bob Roman. If I would have paid for the car on my credit card it would have been better. Jay in the finance department just confirmed with me that to finance the $6,000 car, it cost me $345.78 (and that's without any interest). 7% interest rate is less than stellar as well. Mike Momberger is a nice fella but Bob Rorhman Auto is a company I will never support again. Walk away from the sale. Seriously. You WILL be able to find the car at a better price. (turns out..... the wrecked Honda I sold for salvage has been put on a lot for $2,500. In retrospect I feel perhaps I should have fixed the rear axle instead of even looking for a new one)

I recently traded in my vehicle at this dealership for a 2008 Pontiac G6 GXP and had an awesome experience while there. Everyone was nice and courteous and actually cared about the customers. The person I mostly dealt with was Brett Gerber. He was a very nice and professional person. I had one small concern about the car I was looking at and instead of blowing it off and trying to give me some random excuse he had their mechanic take a look at it right then and there before having me buy it. After the mechanic looked at it he came out and talked to me directly about my concern instead of playing telephone and relaying messages. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a vehicle and I highly recommend asking for Brett Gerber as he seemed very professional.

My wife and I went to Bob Rohrman Toyota on a very tight budget to buy a used car. We only had a vague idea what type of car we wanted to buy and had not really checked their inventory. Mike Momberger, our agent, listened to us and then spent some time checking their inventory and made a list of cars he thought would fit our budget. Then he drove us round Lafayette, IN, to about 5 different lots. At each lot, he gave us advice concerning the vehicle he had brought us to see. Whenever we wanted, he would encourage us to sit in the vehicles, turn on the engine and check out the features. He never became flustered, even as we kept rejecting vehicle after vehicle. Eventually, we narrowed the choices down to two vehicles. Then he brought us back to the dealership and gave us information on the two vehicles, including their Carfax history. Based on that, we selected one vehicle; but, before we made a firm decision, we asked another big favor of him -- to go back and see the vehicle. Mike didn't get annoyed. He drove us back to that lot and then gave me the opportunity to drive back to the dealership in the vehicle we were thinking of purchasing. That sealed the deal for us.Apart from his professionalism, Mike also treated us like family. He took the time to learn our (strange-sounding foreign) names and pronounced them perfectly -- he never forgot them and always referred to us by name. He even took the trouble to learn our daughter's name. And, when we came to pick up the car, he asked us how to say "thank you" in our own language... and, once again, aced it! This really touched our hearts. I will gladly recommend Bob Rohrman Toyota and, especially, Mike Momberger to anyone who wants excellent and friendly service. God bless you Mike!!

We are currently leasing a 2013 Toyota Highlander from Bob Rohrman in Lafayette, IN. My husband and I have never leased a vehicle before. We have several vehicles due to our business and my husband has had a lot of experiencing purchasing used vehicles, but leasing was unchartered territory for us. Our family is also very loyal to a particular dealership that is not Bob Rohrman so we were hesitant to go with a different dealership. However, thanks to the help of Brett Gerber, Chris, and everyone else we met at the Toyota, we are in a vehicle that we absolutely love. Brett showed us the Highlander and went with us on a test drive. He was very informative and answered any questions we had about the vehicle. My husband can be very particular when it comes to purchasing a vehicle and it definitely is not a process that he rushes. Brett was very patient with us and was always available and easy to get ahold of when we had questions. Even if he hadn't heard from us, he would make contact and check in on us to see where we were at in our decision process. We also feel like we have an excellent understanding and grasp of the leasing process now because of Brett and the entire team at Toyota. Everyone explained the process in detail. If we did not understand something, they would explain the same thing in a different way until we understood. We were also very excited to learn about all of the things that the Toyota Care has to offer, which was a big selling point for us. Brett is an excellent sales associate. He is outgoing, friendly, knowledgable, and trustworthy. As small business owners we strongly believe in the value of word of mouth, and we have nothing but good things to say to everyone we know about Toyota, this dealership, Brett, and our entire experience.

I have been a customer of Rohrman Toyota and Chuck Austin for at least the past fifteen years, having leased Rav 4 SUVs. Although I have always been pleased with the service department, dealing with Chuck is the reason that I come back! He explains the lease process really well, and has always given me a heads up if a good Toyota Financial Lease program is available, and I have re-leased a new vehicle without more than a $10 or so increase in payment! I totaled my Rav4 two weeks ago, and the first person that I called after the insurance company was Chuck! Having never had a serious accident, I didn't know exactly how the procedure was going to work, if I'd owe money after the insurance settlement, etc. Chuck helped me remain calm, and assured me that the "numbers" were going to look fine. He checked on my wrecked car and the progress of the estimate. (The car was at the Rohrman Collision Center...also a good decision.) Knowing my tastes, Chuck began looking at new vehicles for me as I waited the clearance from my insurance agency. Having received that this morning, I went to the dealership, LOVED the new 2014 Rav 4 Limited which Chuck had warmed up and ready for me to drive. The 2014 has new options and features, and Chuck took great care in explaining them, and even hooked up my iPhone! Not wanting to waste my time, he just asked if I had any questions about any features which had not changed from the 2011 model, and I appreciated that thoughtfulness. As usual, the transaction with Chuck at the helm was 100% perfect! But...it gets better...he helped me take my rental car back to the agency! Being single, I always dread asking friends to help with such tasks...but my friend and salesman Chuck Austin took care of it without my even asking! You can't go wrong with a Toyota, and you can't go wrong with Chuck Austin!

Since 1986 I have been a customer of the Bob Rohrman auto dealership (Lafayette, IN). I have worked exclusively with Larry Rainford, who has been an exceptional Sales Representative. I could have my car serviced locally, but their service department has been outstanding. They quote time and cost estimates and keep me informed of the progress throughout the day. The service department continues to exceed my expectations when I am back on the road sooner than predicted. Everyone that I have come in contact with at the dealership has been very courteous and helpful from the receptionist to the Sales Managers. It's the only dealership I recommend.

After the North Pole decided to pay a visit to our region, I decided that my old car wasn't cutting it. The Bob Rohrman Toyota dealership in Lafayette impressed me from the moment I walked in the door. I told them that I wanted a car with all-wheel drive and could fit all of my tall friends, and they were able to to fulfill all of my wishes and more. I'm especially grateful for the salesman I worked with, Brain Dobbs, for convincing me to get the Blind Spot Monitor feature. A few nights later, that feature prevented me from getting into a collision with a semi while merging onto a highway. I will never forget it! I purchased a 2013 Rav4 Limited. It's a smooth ride (as long as you avoid all the Hoosier potholes), and has a decent sound system. One review I saw while researching this model said that the dashboard is hard to see during the day. I don't have the same problem, I actually need to turn the dashboard lights low because they're too bright in the evenings. My favorite part about my new car is the Power Seat Adjustments. It actually comes with two button settings so that you and a second person can save their personal seat setting. I like this because I'm super short, and I got sick and tired of having to fix my seat every time someone else sat in it.

I recently purchased a 2011 Outlander at Bob Rorhman Toyota and had a very good experience. Brett Gerber worked with me to find a vehicle that met all of my needs. I traded in my old vehicle and purchased toyota hybrid limited 2013. The quoted price was set at monthly payments and terms and no of payments for 60 mnths. Kaci Jackson told us the terms will remian the same, As we approcahed there to buy the vehicle, Jay Cochran raised the price and said they were quoting on wrong vehicle ( very common excuse to fool you). I denied their new quote. Kaci came back and assured us that they will give us the price we were qouting before with all the terms same. We trusted her (big mistake we trusted on her innocent face) and signed the paper without Jay cochran's explanation on any terms. We were not told that the monthly payment are changed from 6o 712 Kent mnths to 75. We went back and spoke to Trey who was showing legal way of handling the issue. He said he has all the contract papers and he would not change the terms. We felt stupid when their sales rep (Kaci Jackson) lied in front of gen manger/owner's grandson, Trey Rohrman. Se said she told us that the old quotation was for gas vehicle and she never accepted that she did not exaplin about change in terms. She was also pointing all the blame on us. They were unreliable. Their owner;s grandson/ gen manger was rude at the end and told us that he cant do anything. He said,: i dont knwo how you can sign on these paperd without reading those. We were handled those papers ANd made us busy in the conversation about APR and drivers' care policy and the paers were signed in less than 5 mins and we stepped out of Jay Cochran's office in less than 5 mins. He even forgot to take down payment from us even we had signed the papers.They called us and we (as honest person) went back and gave that down payment. See if we had told them that the papers were already signed and the finance manger did not even think about taking downpayment, we also did the same mistake as we signed the contract on their faith. The only differnce between them and us is that we went back and covered their mistake by paing them the downpayment and they were not reliable, honest, or professional enough to amend their hidden terms. The manager was so smart that he took away the quotation paper on which he wrote down the lower price than they sold that vehicle to us. he misplaced that paper on purpose an dcame back in 2 mins and said he does not knwo where he put that paper..very smart. We have another quoatation paper with his handwriting to show him sometimes if their customer relation officer or manufacturer wants to see. We were given that vehicle with 427 miles without cleaning the int and ext. They charged us for the accessories which they have included in the quoted/finalized deal. Please do not go to them unprepared. They can sell their vehicle by any means and have you sign their papers without showing you /explaining the terms and conditions. Don't go by their sales rep's words. They never sell you any vehicle on their sale rep's quoted price even is their sale rep tells you that he/she has talked to the manager. Take those papers at home or have them sign on a paper when they quote the price and make sure you read each and every number right before you sign a paper. Ther eis no word like "trust or reliabliity " in their company. I love tOyota and i can find another dealer even if I have to go 60 miles from my house but I will definitely not trust any dealer from now onwards. It is a lesson for me. I am still looking forward to get fair judgement and hope i will get that.

Would not ever buy from this dealership again. They do not stand behind what they sale! Overall bad experience. Even the experience dealing with the general manager was bad.

We bought a used car for our daughter from these people. Even though it seemed to need a little TLC, we negotiated a price we thought was fair, and entered into the deal in good faith expecting to put a little money into it but feeling we had purchased a roadworthy vehicle. After being driven a little over 100 miles, it overheated; we subsequently found out from a mechanic that it needed a water pump, the transmission was shot, and the head gasket seal was bad. The estimate for repairs was at least as much as we paid for the car! After finally getting someone at the dealership to talk to us, we were told nothing could be done...we did buy the car 'as is'. We were also told that if 'they did something for us, they would have to do something for lots of other people', which could be perceived as an admission of unscrupulous behavior. This on top of the fact that some of their salespeople were overheard laughing and making light of the unfortunate situation we were in. As of this writing, the matter has not been totally resolved. There is a credit union involved in this who has a worthless vehicle on a secured loan...not good for them, either. Bottom line, these people are not to be trusted. They even admitted they don't really check out some of the cars they sell - they drive them a little - but clearly they would sell anything to anyone to make a buck.
