I would not go to any other dealership than Escondido BMW for service-Hector always has a smile and is very patient in answering all of my questions and reassuring customer satisfaction. Ralph, the Shop Foreman has a tremendous depth with his knowledge of the mechanics of BMW engines. Everyone at BMW Escondido truly understands customer service, they all are so very nice, helpful and reassuring about my baby, 440i

I bought a used 5 series and I could not be happier with the purchase! The salesman Bryan was very helpful, attentive and informative. The team had my new car gassed up and serviced before I left!! The financing experience was wonderful as Serge talked me through each step making it an easy experience for a first time buyer.

Had a truly great experience at BMW of Escondido. Got a GREAT price on a new vehicle (not only beating other dealers offers, but actually significantly below MSRP), the staff was kind and accommodating, and I never felt as if I had to deal with the “car salesman” type. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone within the immediate or surrounding areas. Do yourself a favor, don’t waste your time shopping around like I did. There was a small pinhole in the drivers seat of the new car that I purchased (I don’t think I would have even noticed it) but Jeremy pointed it out when I was taking delivery. He informed me that the replacement had ALREADY been ordered, and would be repaired/replaced ASAP. Something that I most likely wouldn’t have even noticed, was addressed and brought to my attention before I even took the keys. All around a wonderful experience and great price. 10/10.

I went to BMW Of escondido ended up buying my car with them. Brian was our sales person. He is super friendly and knowledgeable about all the vehicles we asked about. Make sure you ask for Brian! Everyone in the office was super welcoming and nice as well. They made the process super easy and fast. I definitely recommend them.

Was shopping around for a 2022 X3 and the experience I had at BMW Escondido was awesome! Working with Aaron was by far the best of any dealership I visited in San Diego County, he made the whole process so simple I was in and out with my factory order in under an hour. Several other dealers were adding $5k to MSRP or including dealer add ons (to a factory ordered vehicle!) and were absolutely refusing to negotiate. Aaron made the whole process so painless and explained everything along the way. Seriously can't recommend this dealership or Aaron enough. Really looking forward to picking up the car in a few weeks time!

If you need your BMW serviced do yourself a favor and see Michael Duplessis at BMW Escondido! He has been my Service Rep for well over a year and has always done right by me! I didn't purchase my 535i from them but that has never mattered to Michael; he has always given me GREAT service! Can't recommend him enough!Delete review

I interacted with 3 employees during my visit. Pierre, Moe, and Dan C. All were amazing! I actually went in with my heart set on another brand car. The customer service I received was nothing short of perfection. They were patient, respectful, courteous, knowledgeable, and actually managed to get me into a 340i. Thanks BMW of Escondido. I am glad I went with BMW. I will be recommending them to family and friends for sure.

Never made it to the dealership. I inquired about a car via the Cars.com app and received a response from a sales associate in a day or so. They wanted to know when I could come in and I explained I was out of town on business but wanted to see more pictures of the car before driving from the High Desert to Escondido. Never heard from them. I inquired again and never got a response....

The service is great and everyone has been friendly. The only thing I am upset about is that I drive all the way there only to be told that they no longer do the free car washes. The Mazda dealership gives free car washes! BMW should step it up. That is why I gave it an average review. For what we all spend on our cars, the free car washes should still be offered.

Great experience!! I went in looking for a M235i and Vinnie and Peter took great care of me. I was a first time buyer but my family has bought from there and peter took all that into consideration and gave me a great deal. Couldn't be happier! Thank you BMW of Escondido!!

I recently purchased a 2014 BMW M5 from this dealer. I live in east coast and my first impression was that the sales rep (neil) and sales manager (Peter who is also relative to owner of dealership) were pretty nice and being honest when they interacted over the phone with me. I traveled to California to check the car out and notice it had a lot of carbon fiber parts on it. Knowing how expensive it is to replace these items if damaged I asked the sale rep (Neil) if they were covered under the remaining 2.5 years MFG warranty. He stated YES flat out. All documents that was provided never showed that parts on car were not covered therefore I trusted them and purchased the car (not cheap car either). When I received the car a week later and drove it for couple of days I notice the mirror caps that were carbon fiber were coming loose. I took the car to local dealer and was informed they needed to be replaced and they were not part of car covered by BMW warranty. I reached out to Mo (General manager of dealer), Neil (sale rep), Peter (sales manager) and even Barbara who was their customer relationship owner ... none would take my call or return on my messages. I now am stuck with paying out of pocket $1100 to fix the problem - The people and dealership here are not trust worthy or professional. All they care about is transaction and $$$ from you. I personally would never recommend to friend or family to every purchase a car from these people and If I were you reading this review - AVOID them or you will be sorry.

Just purchased a 535i at another dealership but BMW Escondido was closer so took my car there for service. I had heard about BMW service but was a little skeptical. I was pleasantly surprised at my experience. Michael Duplessis is an EXCELLENT advisor! He was very understanding of my concerns and took care to explain what repairs were done and why. His concern for his customers is exemplary and he is a credit to BMW Escondido. I can't recommend him enough. On a side note, Amanda was also EXCELLENTLY to work with. The only reason I bought my car elsewhere was they didn't have the car I was looking for; if they had I would have gladly bought a car from her!

Absolute 5* Service! I would highley reccomend this BMW Dealer over any in San Diego County. I Started my day at another luxury non BMW dealer in the area that had me so disapointed by the lack of customer service and "Run Around". When I walked into BMW of Escondido I was greated right away and actually given the opportunity to ask questions about finance and lease options without being pushed away to go run and pick a car first. I felt like I was bening listened to and like they actually wanted me to be completly pleased rather than just make another sale.I was so blown away with my sales man Mark, The Sales Manager Peter, and the Finance Manager Cliff. I walked away with a gorgeous 535I with a better payment that I could have asked for all because of the hard work of these 3 fantastic gentlemen! Do not let this smaller BMW dealer fool you they play hard and fit right in with the big boys all while giving you A+ Service! ~Brandy

Recently I traded a 2014 328i which I was leasing for a 2014 low mileage X1, similarly equipped. The Sirius radio had to activated. Since I bought the car on a Saturday I had to come back during the following week for the activation. Made an appointment for Tuesday and was out of there by 2 pm.

Today I had the worst experience of my life with any automotive company on any level. I brought my 2008 128i in for service, I wanted to brakes checked since I had an hard stop last week that left a bit of rubber on the road. Of course, I expected the ABS to kick in, which it did not. The service rep John told me when I explained what happened. "That's the way it works, it takes a lot." I replied,"the tires left a trail of rubber, ABS should not have let than happen." he replied,"there is no way for us to test it, it works fine." Glad you think so, I think after buying 5 BMWs in my lifetime that I will find another automobile company to sell me a car and provide better service. I am definitely never going to buy another BMW since they clearly DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS SAFETY...Personally, If I every had a customer come in with that kind of complaint, it would be on my conscious if I sent someone back on the road...

I had an excellent experience buying a new car at BMW of Escondido! Amanda Kelly was wonderful to work with. In my emails I described to Amanda what I was looking for. A convenient time was set up for me to come look at cars. I test drove a 328d, 320i and X1. Throughout my visit, Amanda remained chipper and was more than happy to answer my many questions. She was easy to converse with. After driving the three cars, I was set on the (blue) X1. The first offer given to me wasn't one I'd be able to consider. A second offer was made. This offer was reasonable. I told Amanda that I would like a day to think it over. This was not a problem nor was I given any grief for it. I thanked Amanda and went on my way. I wasn't able to return the following day but kept in contact with Amanda. Again, Amanda was willing and able to answer all of my questions. I returned a couple days later to purchase the car. The day that worked best for me to pick up the car was Amanda's day off so I worked with Jon Walker. Jon was also great to work with and was happy to answer any questions and help me complete final paperwork. Kim in finance was direct and to the point. She was more than willing to fix a minor error that I noticed shortly before leaving. I wasn't pressured to buy a car nor was I forced to consider something I didn't want. I cannot say the same about a nearby competitor. This was a great experience all around.

Very Disappointed!! I just moved to the area and decided to take my car to the local dealer which is BMW of Escondido but I can assure you this will be the first and the last time I ever take my car to their service department.. I had an error message come on, I dropped my car off and asked to have a full diagnostic done (which they never did) and also asked if they could take a look at the control knob for the radio and navigation and let me know if it was something an update could fix or if it needed to be replaced.... It came back the engine thermostat was bad and needed to be replaced and as far as the radio he said I would need a whole new unit. No one ever called to tell me the vehicle was ready and when I called the next day to find out it was ready, I had other questions and was told that the service guy I was working with and the tech were off for the day and I would have to wait until the next day when he returned to have my questions/ concerns addressed so now I was going to be without my car for another day. The next day I called to talk to the service guy I was working with and asked about the radio/ control knob and he had quoted me $700.00 to replace the radio but I found on line that it is actually called the idrive knob. The fact is I don't think anyone even looked to see what the problem was nor does it seem like the service sales people care if they make a sale or help the customer.... Crappy attitudes and Crappy customer service!! I will never have my car serviced at this dealer again or purchase a car from them.

'11 328i Sedan (pre-owned courtesy vehicle)First-time BMW owner, and was overwhelmed by all of the choices and options. Amanda Kelly did a great job of explaining the models and packages. Not only was she an excellent resource for BMW-related questions, she was extremely accommodating with regards to scheduling times to view and test drive. When I decided to take some time to evaluate other options for a vehicle (BMW of Escondido was the first dealership I visited out of several different manufacturers), Amanda was completely supportive and let me know she was available if I had any questions. After visiting the other dealerships, it was a simple decision what car I wanted and where to make the purchase. Once I had chosen the model and options, Amanda had the deal finalized, and I was driving my new car home that afternoon. After deciding on the vehicle, Dan Chappelle was extremely helpful in answering any questions and making recommendations based on his personal experience with regards to the optional maintenance and warranty packages. The options were presented in a clear, concise format, and Dan went out of his way to explain the specifics of each of them. The car is amazing, the service has been extraordinary, I'm a completely satisfied customer and look forward to the same level of service from the dealership's service department.

Amanda and Sheri are extremely professional and their service is outstanding. After a disappointing and unprofessional experience at another San Diego based BMW dealership, I was very pleased with the results of my experience with Amanda and Sheri and would highly recommended them to anyone looking to lease or purchase a BMW.

I was helped out as soon as I got there. Amanda fought for me to get the best possible price. She took all aspects into consideration. She also got me more for my trade in than I htought was possible. Amanda made sure my car was loaded too! She was very helpful and knowlegdable about everything. It was a very comfortable sale. There was no pressure.

Normally I find dealing with auto dealerships a very distasteful experience. From the sales people, to the finance people, to the service people, they don't seem to understand the proper way to treat customers and that knowledgable and courteous service goes a long way to maintaining a profitable customer base. It's all about the dollar and the turnover, the customer be damned. Amanda Kelly at BMW of Escondido is different. She made the buying experience nearly pleasureable. She was pleasant, responsive, and actually listened - imagine that. She made the process seamless and non-confrontational. I would have given ratings of 5 on everything, but as usual their service department let me down. Is it too much to ask that a torn floor mat be replaced when someone is spending 40K purchasing a leased vehicle that they have already dropped 28K into. And they don't even know what parts go on what vehicles. Also, didn't appreciate the hard sell from the finance guy after the deal was already negotiated - drop it guys, you just piss people off. But again Amanda was fantastic. If the world of automotive sales had more Amanda's then people wouldn't dread the experience and might actually buy more cars. There's a novel thought!!!!

I have purchased or leased 5 BMWs from Escondido BMW (Brecht) since 2002. My last sales adviser was no longer there so I began working with Sheri Martinez. Sheri is a true professional and one of the nicest ladies you'll ever meet ! She is a busy lady but was always able to accommodate my business travel schedule. After the initial test drive of the F30, I let her know that the car did not "do it for me" and we began looking for other viable options. Never in a hurry and always attentive to listen, Sheri was able to hone in on my likes and dislikes and eventually we settled on an incredible deal on a 2012 335is. Sheri and the support staff at Escondido BMW were able to come up with a lease package that exceeded my expectations in every way. She even let me know of factory incentives I never even knew existed just to make sure I got the car I wanted and was able to facilitate getting more for my trade-in than expected. The whole experience at Escondido BMW was very comfortable, efficient and professional. I fully recommend Sheri and her group to anyone looking for a new BMW!

This is one of the best dealers I've been to in the past ten years. I just bought a 528i and I couldn't be happier with both my buying experience and the car itself. Robert was very knowledgeable about all the cars I was interested in looking at and he helped me make my decision. He was very friendly and helpful.

The service adviser was rude, condescending, and dismissive of any concerns, argumentative. He then tried to pass us off to another advisor after the services was completes. A fact we only discovered after we received an e-mail requesting an evaluation from an advisor one I had never met or had any discussions with. Pretty sneeze. One bright spot was the helpfulness of the support staff. My suggestion think twice about buying a car there. We have owned 7 BMWs for over 20 years, having them serviced at the dealership - never have we had such a negative experience as dealings with Mr. Coons

DON''T WASTE YOUR MONEY! i Have a 2010 X5 that I bought at BMW Escondido DESPITE reading negative feedback about the service department being overpriced and selling things that are not needed. I should have listened! EVERT TIME I take my car in as part of the supposed no cost maintenance program I am told that something else should be done that is not included in the no cost program. And guess what? My timing is always just perfect because they happen to be offering a special!! Lucky me! The fuel injector service appears to be a favorite as I have read it in on several other posts. I have also asked others who take their BMW's to other local dealerships and have NEVER BEEN TOLD THIS SHOULD BE DONE!! I also talked to a representative from BMW North America and was told that if the car does not tell you that it needs to be done (i.e. on the display) then it does not need to be done! To top it off I raised my concern to the service advisor and was told that he understands, apologized, and also offered to give me a free alignment (which was needed). When I brought the car back, I was told that the offer was for a free "check" which is absurd because the tire wear clearly shows the need for alignment. I was also told that he just could not ask someone to do the alignment and not pay them so that he would never have offered to do it for free!!!! Overall advice, read the message boards/feedback, ask other BMW owners and don't get taken for a ride at BMW ESCONDIDO!!

BMW of Escondido is not one of the major franchise car dealerships, but they are competitive and will do what it takes to EARN your business. In earning business, this does not happen in the "back room," but with open and honest transparency. While they do not currently subscribe to USAA, Costco or AAA (to my knowledge,) they will honor these buyer programs. To do this, you should visit a dealership that can provide the bottom line for the BMW under consideration and have the pricing in hand. For instance, Costco's deal on a 3 Series is $500 above invoice. Pierre has been steadfast in our discussions, always of best service, energetic, smart and personable. When my lease comes within a few months of the due day, he will be the first person that I will connect with for my next BMW. He is one of few salespersons that epitomizes "client advisor." Mario helped craft the lease that we needed. He clearly understands the finance end of the business and provided the best solution. This buying experience was one of negotiation but of teamwork to bring it together. No smoke and mirrors - "this is what we can do." Promises made in the negotiations were written into the contract - everything was above board. While this reflects on our immediate experience with Pierre and Mario, we have met other client advisors during our visits. We would be comfortable working with any of these advisors as well. What happens when it is time for service? Something that car buyers don't always think about until it is that time. When moving to San Diego a few years ago, we had a couple choices of servicing our 2008 328i. We tried other dealerships but found Escondido BMW our favorite. Again, the hospitality and service occurred effortlessly. On short service visits, I stayed in the lounge with WiFi service. On longer visits, a loaner car (BMW) was set up at the time of appointment. I rate this dealership highly. Our all around experience has been excellent... I hope that you have the same.

The service experiences I've had with BMW of Escondido have been excellent. I have been going to this service station for a few years now for basic maintenance to my car and I have had very positive experiences. The staff there are always prompt, courteous, and very knowledgeable. Brian Sanford has been my service representative and I would like to applaud him for the service he provides. Thanks to Brian, the staff, the technicians, and mechanics for providing excellent service and making every experience a great one. Continue to do what you do because you guys are doing all the right things!

I highly recommend this dealership for the following reasons:- Excellent customer service - Pierre understood and determined my needs right away. - Pierre and Mario went the extra mile to ensure I got what I wanted and was satisfied with my purchase and the value of that purchase.- The actual transaction of the price of the car, payments, financing, etc was smooth. No hagling, no stress, simple process. Who knew it could be this easy anywhere??- Clean and state of the art building.- All others encountered within the support staff(receptionist, parts caller, appointment setter for tinting) where also very friendly and helpful. Even while signing the final papers, the woman who helped us was upbeat and made me feel she was jsut as excited for me then I was :)Good job BMW Escondido! Keep up the good work and I'll keep sending folks your way!

Great dealership. Everything is pretty straight forward. We drove 80 miles one way to buy the new X3. We were impressed with the level of friendliness and professionalism they treated us from the first step we entered the dealer lot. We bought 328i from them 3 years ago and the level of service still unchanged. The only problem, they are pretty far from us however, with the bad treatment from closest dealers, it's worth a drive. Thank you John for making us sticking with our beloved brand, BMW. We almost bought Audi Q5 but glad we gave BMW X3 a test drive. It's a perfect for small family.Regards-Azri-

Outstanding service and communication!Having my new 135 serviced for a couple of simple non critical issues (window and speedometer).Michael has exemplified what service interaction should be, quick, courteous, accurate and done with a smile!I have worked in a service oriented environment for over 12 years myself, so I know how monotonous and difficult servicing customers can be.I will definitely not have the "dread" feeling next time I will need to have my car serviced, as I have so often had with BMW service shops in the past! Both my sales experience and service experience have confirmed my decision to go to and stay with BMW of Escondido (aka Brecht BMW)!I would highly recommend this dealership and service department!

Cliff was very helpful, he went above and beyond to take care of the details. When he realized that I could not come back to the dealership to pick up some things I forgot, he took it upon himself to drive 15 some miles to my house to drop it off.You could tell that he cared about making a long term client that just a one term deal and I think he succeeded in doing that.

Michael has been great to work with. He has explained everything in detail and been very nice and accomodating. No hassles at all! I had an unusual service need and Michael went out of his way to help me and make things flow smoothly. I have never had such good service at BMW before .... I have been a customer for a long time and appreciate all you do.

I took my 3 series in for service at Brecht BMW of Escondido. I was hearing a squeak that came from the air conditioning everytime I turned it on. I was always told that BMWs are not known for their air conditioners but the noise was the frustrating part. My issue was resolved within the day, which was great because it is always difficult not having your own vehicle and my air conditioner has never worked better, thank goodness because it has been hot here lately! Kudos to the team at Brecht BMW in Escondido! They were friendly, courteous, efficient and solved my problem, 5's all around!

I have had a wonderful experience at BMW of Escondido over the past years. Having purchased many cars throughout my life, I honestly feel this dealership exceeds all of my expectations. Purchasing a new or used BMW from "my" salesperson-Don Heine, has been an effortless experience. I always receive prices that are more than fair without having to negotiate for hours. The experience I have with my service rep-John Coons, has been nothing short of miraculous. Aside from treating us with his usual professional expertise he has taken the "BMW Experience" to another level, let me explain. I am fortunate enough to give each of my 3 children their own BMW. As a parent I want them to drive what I consider the safest cars available. John has given all of us, my wife and I included his personal cell phone number. The comfort in knowing he is always there for me and my children cannot be measured if something "comes up" out of the ordinary. He has come in on his day off to help my son who had a problem-this type of dedication keeps me returning to BMW of Escondido.I would wish all perspective purchasers to experience this type of a relationship-I would NEVER think of going elsewhere!Sincerely,Neil Miller

The Dealership is both friendly and clean. John Coons is my Service Advisor and has been so for about the past 6 years. I'm on my second 7Series and John has taken care of both. He is always friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. My appointment is always acknowledged and my vehicle ready as promised. I almost always wait for my vehicle since John gets me in and out in 2 hours or less. I use the Internet lounge and work on my laptop while waiting for my vehicle. I would continue using John's great services. He is a real asset to the dealership. If he transferred to another dealer, I would follow him within a 2 hour drive. I highly recommend John to anyone who is looking for a truly great Service Advisor.

I had an emergency with my M3 convertible. The top had a part break off, so I needed to have the car seen immediately. I called Michael in the morning and he had me come over within 2 hours. He had the service foreman come make sure my top would go back up into place. Mike was a real life saver for me and I greatly appreciate the prompt and excellent service he provided to me.

Out of the dealerships I've dealt with in the past, from a variety of companies, BMW of Escindido was by far the one I'd recommend most. After purchasing a BMW M3 I was particular about who I would let service my car. I was refered to John Coons in the service department. After the first time John worked with me there was no one else I would allow to touch my car. I had many options that were much closer but I went out of my way just to make sure that he was the one who serviced my car.John was always very professional and clear about what was needed for my car. Everything was always exactly as John said it would be. If you own a BMW he is the guy to take your car to. Thanks John!

This dealership delivers excellent service far and away better than their competition. My service advisor John Coons has delivered consistent professional advice and service for my 2002 M5 over the last several years. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my vehicle. Some examples of John's excellent advisements come in the form of what service needs to be completed and what doesn't. He's not in the business to up-sell or persuade someone to buy additional services one doesn't need. He's a straight shooter and tells you the truth regarding your vehicle. If you're looking for a dependable, quality facility to service your BMW, look no further than John Coons at BMW of Escondido.

I took my BMW 535i in during Memorial Weekend to have my breaks worked on. I was greeted by an attendent quickly. I then sat down with Michael and went over my service issues. After discoving how affordable my service was I upgraded and bought the CAR SPA package Michael offered me. he then got me me a loaner 3 series for the weekend. After enjoying a long weekend I picked up my car Tuesday. Michael took me to my car and it look brand new and actually drove much smoother. I will definitley will only take my car to BRECHT Escondido for service and will be upgrading to a 7 series soon. Thank you

I recently purchased a CPO 328i from Brecht BMW. Theirfolks treated me as if I were purchasing a new top of the line BMW 750,not a used car. Everything was truly terrific about the buyingexperience. I'd like to just highlight a few people that I worked withon this.* Richelle Wolleson: Richelle became involved by letting me know theprocess for lease end on my MINI Cooper S, which I leased from Brechtthree years ago. During this extended email conversation, I mentionedthat I might be interested in a CPO 328i. I think she went out of herway to make sure that all of my questions were answered, helped me findthe right car at the right price, made sure that car would be ready todrive this past weekend and helped me find a sales representative toassist me once I came in for a test drive. Richelle was always veryprompt with any replies to my questions and really helped to smooth theway forward towards my purchase. I really appreciate her help. She's thereason why I finally came to Brecht for this car.* Sean Quinn: I think this is the "Sean" that helped me at Brecht withthe test drive and sales process. There is also a Sean at MINI whohelped me originally buy the MINI and helped this past weekend withlease closeout. Sean at BMW was great to work with. We went on a testdrive in the car where he explained all about the various features andbenefits of the car. Sean was easy to talk with and was completely nottrying to pressure me into anything which I truly appreciate. I'vewalked out of dealerships before that tried the hard sell approach.Regardless, Sean stayed with the process from the moment I wasintroduced by Richelle until after the sale where we had to pick upfloor mats (even volunteered to install them) and set up my bluetoothphone. I declined both since I need to learn about my new BMW myself. Iwould highly recommend Sean to anyone who wanted to buy a BMW fromBrecht.* Dan in finance (couldn't remember his last name): Dan was great inmaking the finance piece of this quick and totally painless. I couldn'task for anything more. Dan was very friendly and made me feel totallycomfortable with a process that elsewhere has been quite stressful.* Moe: I think Moe is the sales manager. Near the end of the process, even Moe was helping out with things like finding extra keys and usermanuals for the car. Amazing.I had the pleasure of meeting Tim Brecht on Saturday while buying thiscar. He was in the lobby talking motorcycles. I had no idea who he wasat the time, but we were discussing the attributes of the bikes and hementioned that he owned them and then introduced himself. I don't knowif Tim is active in the management or ownership of Brecht BMW, but if soits obvious that the friendly, helpful and down to earth nature ofeveryone at Brecht is probably the result of the management style fromthe top.

I was in sales forever, so after I narrow down the "what" to buy, I move on to the sales person I buy it from. Bad sales technique = No Sale! Richard Nims at Brecht BMW was awesome! Easy going, extremely personable, and no hype or pressure to "close the deal". Been back twice with questions and he was always happy to help! Great asset to their team!

I stopped by Brecht BMW to window shop after work last week. I really had no intention of buying a car from them but I came across a 2004 530i that caught my eye. It was in fantastic shape and seemed like a great buy so I asked Rich if I could take a test drive. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the product. After driving the car I decided to buy it. The dealer was willing to come off of their asking price (which mirrored Blue Book suggested retail). After having the vehicle for a few days I am very satisfied so far. This is my first European vehicle ever and first used car since the 90s! I would recommend Brecht to anyone looking for a BMW. The sales manager, Mr. Hoye, and finance manager, Linda, were very helpful as well, and not pushy.

I worked with salesperson Grady Griffith, and he was great. He was knowledgeable of the product, flexible in his time schedule, very customer-service oriented and seemed to advocate on my behalf with his general manager when it came to discussing pricing. Throughout the process, he demonstrated great follow-through in making sure I had the information I needed to make a good decision.

I decided to buy a certified used 328I and stopped by two local dealerships in OC. They were helpful but did not have the car color my wife wanted. In traveling to San Diego for business I called Brecht and made an appointment with Client Advisor Richard Nims. He had a car I was interested in and provided the information I needed in a consultative manner without the feeling of sales pressure. I gave him my pricing guidelines and he worked out a deal that was competitive to anything offered including the Costco program I was investigating. In addition, Richard helped us set up the BMW .9 percent financing available at the time. The most important reason I would recommend Brecht came after we drove the car home. In the late afternoon my wife turned the car toward the sun and discovered the windshield had a lot of micro chips. These were very small chips and not easily visible at other times. I called Brecht and sent a couple pictures of the problem. Richard called me back and said they would cover the cost of replacement. I received their check three days after submitting the bill. In addition to Richard Nims, I also received very professional support from Client Advisor, John Walker, and Kim Lovett in the finance department.Based on my experience with Brecht, I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a car.

This is easily the most unpleasant car dealer and service I have ever experienced. For example, just this minute I've been on the phone for 3 minutes. The phone has rung over 25 times, but no one has answered. I need warranty service. My car is 1 year old and the power windows don't work. If I did want a loaner car to use while they fix my broken car, this dealership will insist that you give them a credit card - as though purchasing the car was not enough investment. I wish I had asked for THEIR credit card when I bought the car. After all, warranty is an outstanding obligation, and they do everything possible to make it hard to get your car serviced. Once my warranty is out, I will find an independent BMW Certified Master Mechanic to work on my car. This dealership will never get another nickle from me.The buying experience should have tipped me off. I wanted a manual transmission car. The salesman aggressively tried to sell me an automatic off the lot. Eventually, he stopped returning my calls and I had to visit the Sales Manager to get any sort of attention. I should have simply gone to another dealership.

After searching for a number of months I finally purchased my first BMW, 2007 335i coupe from Brecht. The right vehicle at the right price was my goal, and Brecht delivered with excellent customer service. Richard was charming and accomidating to work with and really focused on my overall enjoyment and interest in the vehicle. The whole negotiation process was expeditious and fair. The financing portion was thoroughly explained and a smooth transaction. This was a quality experience unlike many quota like experiences I've had in the past from other dealerships. I would buy from this dealership again -

I've leased many cars from Brecht BMW over the years. In fact, I live over 70 miles away and continue to return to the dealership over local dealerships for the overall experience they provide. When my leases come near their end date, they're ahead of the game, contacting me to let me know about the latest models and changes that reflect my tastes. They're efficient too. If I know the car I want before even visiting the dealership, they can get paperwork drawn up so I can literally sign and drive off the lot. But I almost always stick around long enough for them to bring me up to speed on the car's features.Service has been a snap too. If I'm in the area visiting family and have something that needs to be looked at, it usually gets taken care of in the same day. Service employees are always professional and ensure I understand what's going on every step of the way. Of course, since I don't live nearby many of my service requirements end up getting taken care of at dealerships closer to me. They ensure I get the right service from dealerships they have relationships with and circle back with them if I have a negative experience. However, it's important to note that BMWs don't need much service and mine have been no exception.

I've purchased many vehicles in my days. I must say that my latest experience has been the best ever by far. I recently purchased a 2010 BMW 328i from Brecht BMW, Escondido, California. The ENTIRE TRANSACTION was hassle free. Hats off to Greg Rosenfeld for his outstanding customer service. Although Brecht isn't the closest BMW dealership to where I live (I live South County), I will drive the extra miles to get the oustanding service and deal which I deserve. A few years ago, I'd purchased a 325i from BMW of San Diego. They deal in large sales volume. The staff was somewhat stuffy, forceful and uninviting. At Brecht, the dealership is family owned and it shows. They go the extra mile to make the customer feel appreciated and it shows. I'll be back and will send my friends to Brecht.

Had my M3 in for body shop work. Poor quality work and very poor ethics from the tech and especially the idiot manager Corky (I hope you read this Corky - YOU KNOW THE TRUTH....) My car had additional damage to it when it was returned to me and I was forced to pay extra for it. Inspect your vehicle well upon receipt and bring extra money if you must use these pack of liars.

I had been researching buying a Used BMW for four months. I knew exactly what I was looking for and the price I wanted to pay. After three failed negotiations with other dealerships I decided to stop by Brecht BMW in Escondido. I initially sent in an internet inquiry and the internet sales person Richelle Wolleson contacted me. Although at the time their dealership didn't have the exact car I was looking for she continued to follow up with me to see how my car shopping was going and if she could help me out at all. It was her friendly and persistant attention that got me in the door. The day I arrived to the dealership Oscar Acosta helped me find the car I was looking for. He was warm and friendly and not agressive at all. I immediately felt comfortable! He only had to show me one car. It was pretty much everything I was looking for. I told him I had been agressively shopping and I knew exactly how much I was willing to pay. Without any haggling he put me in my new vehicle! I didn't feel pressured to add on any extras. I felt the attention to details was completely there. Oscar suggested an insurance company to me, he took the time to show me how all the options and gadgets in the car worked. He even escorted me over to their service center which is located down the street so that I would know where to go when my first service date was due. I got a complimentary pit pass for free weekly car washes for the life of the vehicle. I honestly just couldn't be happier with the entire experience! Thank you Brecht BMW of Escondido!

I took my car in for an oil change, and because it was pulling to the right. I was told the reason the car was pulling to the right was that the ball joint had gone bad, and needed to be replaced for $750, even though the car only had 41,000 miles. I asked the service advisor if the ball joint could be tightened, and he told me that ball joints could not ever be tightened. When I got home I turned the bolt on the ball joint 2 turns, and the car no longer pulled to the right. By the time I got home from the dealer the car had lost 1 quart of oil from the oil filter seal. When the dealer changed the oil, they either used the old oil seal or cut the new seal when they put the oil filer on. When they finished the oil change, they didn't take the time to run the car and check for oil leaks.

They dont operate like a BMW dealership or maybe its just a California thing not make you feel welcome, Also i wouldnt recommend buying a BMW certified car from them, they seem to me too laid back and unwilling to serve the customer, they give you an impression that they are doing you a favor by selling you a BMW rather then the other way round, i looked at a so-called gently used bmw certified vehicle and it seemed a lot older and beat up then it should be.

I have a 2004 330XI that is well maintained and in very good condition with all recomended services performed. About six months ago my A/C began to act funny, ie - blow hot air out of one vent and cold air out of the others. I took it to Brecht 4 times to try to solve the problem and each time a Brecht service writer said "oh . . we know what that is" and made repairs and charged me for the repairs and each time when I drove away the problem was still there. When I complained to the service manager James Baumer he was unproffesional and rude to me, and refused to take any responsibility for the fact that they had charged me lots of money for repairs that were not required, and yet made anyway but did not solve the problem. I was shocked that the "best engineered car in the world" was willing to allow a problem go unchecked.

I went to buy a certified car that they told me was very clean and in great shape. When I got there, after driving 2 hours, I found out the car had a ton of damage. The paint was in horrible shape, the door handle on the driver's side was broken, the cup holder popped off when I pushed it and one of the headlights was in really bad shape. The Sales manager took no responsibility and told me that "apparently we don't have a deal." be careful when dealing with this dealership.

Customer service is awful. The service department takes no responsibility for anything that they do wrong. We were delivered a car with damage and when the service dept was to fix the damage it took 10 days longer than we were told. They did not apologize and we were not compensated at all. We were also given a loaner car that broke down and they did not help us get a new car or give any assistance to us the day it broke down on the freeway. In fact, they even charged our credit card for gas without our consent.

Don't use BMW financial for your financing needs. They are the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. The folks at Brecht did not help at all with my issues. Very arrogant!I financed a part of my recent purchase though BMW financial, signed up for auto debit for my monthly payment. BMW kept calling me telling me that my bank account was closed...it isn't. I repeatedly gave them the account info every day when they called and was still told that the account was closed. Every day I got calls saying that my payment was late, sometimes twice a day! Terrible customer service and folow-up. Brecht management wouldn't do anything to help. I never got a return call from BMW Financial after repeated messages left. All in all a very stressful experience.

I took my car to Brecht BMW (closest dealership to my house). I was met by Mike (Sales Associate). He refused to take the car back. He wouldn't give me a reason other than I didn't buy the car from them. I continued to push telling them that I was told by the lender used by Brecht and the dealer I did purchase my car with, that I was doing everything I was told to do by the lender. I was told that I could take it anywhere / anytime and that if I didn't turn it in that day I would be fined. I was told that the process was simple and that I could wait until the last day no problem (I checked with the lender on two seperate ocassions before I turned it in). I also explained to Mike that I lived and worked 45 miles away. The only reason I waited until the last day was because I was trying to sell the car since and had a buyer looking at it that afternoon. I had put $6k down and the blue book was higher then the buyout amount. I was hoping to re-coup some of my down payment. Mike still refused to help me.All the dealers first question, is always were did you buy the car? That is how they determine what level of treatment you are going to receive. I continued to question why they wouldn't sign the mileage verification form, since I knew it was something they could do. I tried to explain to them all the problems I had in the past, hoping this would make them realize they could provide some good customer care (for BMW as a whole since they do represent the BMW name) and retain me as a customer. Mike (Sales Manager) then came out -- he said my sales associate has already told you we are not taking the car back, leave or I will call the police. I then said, I couldn't believe he was not willing to help me. I said that when I owned my VW in college, they seemed more concerned with treating their customers well then he did. He said, "I should go back to VW because I don't deserve to own a BMW." I asked his name and he THREW his card at me. His threats scared my children. We all left in tears. The next day my brother and his business partner came to retrieve the car. They again were met with hostility and lack of customer care this time by the GM (it is apparent that poor customer service comes from the top down). If the GM doesn't care about his customers then why would the sales staff? My brother picked up the car, drove it across the street to the Mercedes dealership and they took it, no questions asked. The whole turn in process at Mercedes took literally 3 minutes. Why could Mercedes take back a BMW lease while BMW couldn't/wouldn't??? This doesn't make sense.During this whole situation, no one at Brecht has ever apologized for treating me so poorly and still to this day no one has given me any reason why the car was not accepted. Brecht even lists "Authorized Lease Turn in Facility" on the front page of their website.I will say though, my husband has been in contact (for his BMW) with the financial group & has talked to a financial manager there that has apologized and gone out of his way to help us out! He said we should have never been treated like that and he is embarassed any dealer would treat a customer that way -- no matter what the circumstances. I know all dealers are not bad; but Brecht has an attitude that we as customers are lucky to own a BMW versus they are lucky to have us as customers.

Needed 3 things fixed on my car. Lock, window, and molding. Brecht had fixed all three of these items before. I was told that everything would be covered under the warrenty. After going through a few steps, I was also told that I would be rented a car.I drive 30 minutes to the dealership and spoke with Kenji. His first attempt at "helping" me was, "I don't think that any of this will be covered under your warrenty and I can't rent you a car."Luckily I still had the name and number of the girl who said that I could get a rental. I called her and she was able to get him to do his job, something that he's not so good at on his own. So I got the rental and left.Get a call on Tuesday from Kenji saying they had fixed the window and needed a week to order the lock from Germany. Then, he asked me to pick up the car, which doesn't lock mind you. When I replied he wasn't finished with the car, he said, "Well, I can't rent you a car while we're waiting for the part to arrive."I replied, "So you're giving me a car that won't lock?" He said, "Well, you BROUGHT me a car that won't lock."At that point, I asked to speak to his manager, James Baumer. Now, remember that I have had all of these items fixed at Brecht before, a little over two years ago. The last time that I was there, the service dude took pity on me (I related all of the bad experiances with Brecht I'd had) and let me have a loaner while I was waiting for the lock to ship from Germany. James said, "I know that the last guy let you have the loaner and his heart was in the right place but I can't rent you a car while we're waiting for the key."So I go to pick up my car and they DEMAND that I pay a $50 detucatable to release my car. I didn't have $50 on me. I asked them, "You're not finished with the work on the car. Can't you just give me my car and I'll pay you the $50 next week when you're finished?"They wouldn't do this for me. It was 7:00pm and here I am, no money and no car. They called the service manager who, again, would not allow me to take the car without paying them the money. I had to call a friend to give them their credit card over the phone. I was so frustrated and humiliated, I left very upset.Bottom Line: Brecht BMW wouldn't spit on their customers if they were on FIRE!!!! I would NEVER, NEVER, NEVER buy a car from or use this dealership in anyway, ever again. The people at the rental place said that Brecht customers are ALWAYS upset and angry when they see them.

Do not do business with this dealership! My sister and I went to this dealership to return her lease as directed by BMW North America and the leasing company. We were told that if we did not lease from that particular dealership they would not accept it until the following day because they wanted to go home. we were there 35 minutes before closing. One of the managers threw his business card at my sister and told us to leave. The doors were locked and the gate to the exit was locked also. we were trapped until the manager finally unlocked the gate 20 minutes later and threatened us. Terrible Terrible experience!

I'm a stickler for customer service, and will not purchase anything from anyone who treats me with disrespect or disregard. Conversely, I'm happy to buy from a salesperson who really works to find a product which meets my requirements, particularly if s/he does it in a manner which is pleasant and in accordance with MY style, and on MY time.I was pleased with the service I received from salesman Dusan Kurta at Brecht BMW. He was helpful, informative, never tried to pressure me, and never practiced that annoying habit of criticizing any rival products I was also considering (Lexus, Acura, etc.). He cheerfully agreed to all of my requests for test drives, and I was pleased to buy a car from him at a price I felt was fair. One thing I wonder about ALL dealerships is why the salesperson is not empowered to negotiate the price. I assume it's a negotiation tactic, but if I run out of time waiting for a Finance Manager to accept or reject my price after numerous offers and counteroffers, I *WILL* walk away. I see that process as a time waster for all parties involved. Any good negotiator (whether buyer or seller) has done his/her research and comes into the deal with three acceptable price points: optimal, anticipated, and minimum acceptable. If each salesperson were armed with that 'secret' information for every car on the lot, it'd save us all a lot of time. Just my $.02...

When looking into a Lease, I was given contradictory information than what I'd received from other dealerships about the same BMW lease program. I was given misinformation from the salesman. When I escalated the matter to management, I was basically blown off. I have heard similar complaints from numerous other people. This used to be a decent dealership, but under the new ownership, it has gone downhill.

I had a problem that was supposed to be taken care of 4 months ago and still has not.. after purchasing a $50K car. This was a problem that Brecht should have caught and didnt until I took the car to be inspected by AAA. I'd left numerous messages with top manangement and nobody returned my call. Absolutley ridiculous!! It came to the point where I was on the verge of taking legal action. Good upfront, the WORST customer service I have ever dealt with. I reccommend South Bay BMW.

BEWARE!!!I would not reccomend this dealership at all. I was assured the payoff price of my trade-in was one price before I signed the contract. Several weeks later, I was sent a demand letter by the dealer seeking more money because the payoff was a higher amount. They are now suing me because I refuse to pay. "A deal is not a deal at Brecht BMW".

Long story short - CPO car was a lemon, service desk HORRIBLE, must show up in person and raise stink before they will lift a finger, shoddy worksmanship, disrespectful attitudes, the works. Stonewalling over the phone then capitulating once customer shows backbone is NOT CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Never again.

i had a great experience here - they took a ton of time with me to get me in the right car, and were super helpful throughout the entire process. i highly recommend this dealership in general, and my salesperson (kimberley koch) in particular.

The Brecht people have taken care of our numerous BMW vehicles for about 14 years; they are consistently friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and thorough. They also save us money, time, and grief whenever they can, and, because they are also racers, they advise us on how to setup our cars properly so that we can get the most out of them when we take them out on a track. I can't move away from here...they are simply the best!
